I’m not saying that they are some serious thing, but I wouldn’t think anything of it if he didn’t post for her birthday. Sometimes people celebrate privately, just like him for his 30th. There wasn’t a peep about how he celebrated from him or anyone associated with him.

Right. I think what is influencing my opinion on the matter is how when Cam was hanging out with Emily last September and October, I had no reason to doubt they were together. Her birthday was all the way in December, around when he was set to appear at the For the Love of Sci-fi event in Manchester.

But it took all that time in between their Scotland trip and her birthday for it to be made very clear that they weren’t a couple. They spent no physical time together and lived separate lives so that by the time December rolled around, it didn’t seem likely that her birthday would be acknowledged by him.

So I’m applying similar logic here. Will she show up at events he’s been invited to? Will they appear together at any of the film festival screenings he may have for Foxbody? If any of that happens between now and Madison’s birthday, then I’ll have a better place to start from in making those kinds of predictions.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say nothing is going on. Maybe not serious, but it was only the two of them on these trips. I don’t remember him traveling alone anywhere with any of his female friends. In groups yes, but not alone unless I’m mistaken. And Cam addresses his female friends as friends.

He called Kace Hughes his beautiful friend when she went to the Star Wars premiere with him and I think he called Liana and the other girl that came to see him when he was in the hospital (I can’t remember her name) with the broken leg beautiful friends as well in his blog post.

I don't know if his solo trips with Emily were romantic or not. At the time, I did think they were, but now of course, I realize that we had much less confirmation back then to go by than we even do now with Madison.

He hasn't put a label on most of his relationships with women; it's pretty rare that he'll make a birthday post for anyone or give them a shoutout in some other way. But, when he does, yes, he will often refer to them as friends. That is true.

The next morning after breakfast, the family headed to Liên and her husband Alon's house nearby. Megan greeted her cousin and cousin-in-law and asked them how they were doing, and introduced them to her wife, cousins-in-law, daughter, and niblings and met Alon and Liên’s new baby, Anita. Plus she spent time with her niece Cam, Liên and Alon's oldest daughter. "The last time I saw you, you were only a baby." Megan said, smiling. "Yeah but I got old and taller since then, auntie Megs!" Cam said, smiling at her auntie. Plus Cam took Piper, Hamuera, and Emily to her room and showed off all her toys, pointing out their names and backstories while they listened and chimed in with jokes and stories as well. After that, Hamuera went to go get water and quickly texted his boyfriend Mateo, while standing in the archway. “Nooboo, move away from the archway.” His mom Luna reprimanded gently, and Hamuera nodded, shifting so he wasn’t blocking it. Mateo said he was good, and Hamuera sent back that he wished he could be in Chestnut Ridge with him, or that Mateo could be in Tomarang, and Mateo said he felt the same. Hamuera’s mama Chrissy called him over, and he told Mateo he had to go before stuffing his phone back in his pocket.

Megan spent more time with Liên and goofed around with her. Plus, she told Liên about her friend Iseul, and Liên’s eyes widened in surprise. “Iseul Kang?” She clarified, and Megan nodding, giving her a confused look. “Oh wow, she was my temporary tenant a couple years ago, very friendly and funny, she helped Alon fix things around the place and would have dinner with us once a week and was so nice when I had an emergency and asked if she could babysit Cam for two hours. How do you guys know each other?” Liên asked. Megan blushed a bit. “We used to date in college, broke up, and reconnected because my niece Piper is dating her niece who’s also named Cam.” Liên grinned. “Cam’s a good name.” She said, and Megan grinned. “But that aside, wow. I can see why you’d like her, she has this way of making you laugh and charming you and I love Alon but she’s kind of cute.” Megan nodded. “That’s Is.” She said, smiling. “I mean not the cute part, I mean she is but not that I notice it too much.” Megan rambled feeling her face flush, and Liên shook her head but smiled too. “I’m good friends with her and her girlfriend Grace, who’s also really sweet.” Megan added, and Liên nodded.

For Spencer I would say a mix between his dad and alittle of Zander.

I don't know a lot about Zander because his downfall was before my time but I've always been curious about him since he's Cam's dad. I definitely see the Nik in him, obviously, but I appreciate that he's different enough that he doesn't feel like a complete retread of his dad.

The same general theme of fighting to be the "good" Cassadine and "heavy is the head that wears the crown" but manifested in different ways. Spencer is way more chaotic, impulsive and clumsier than Nik was.

Nik was always messy but with a polite, smooth veneer that Spencer sometimes displays but has a much harder time maintaining. Spencer is also, ironically, a lot more trusting than Nik was despite both having abandonment issues.
