Sam: Christianity has plagiarized from many ancient religions, the Bible is full of errors, that's why after 18 years I left Christianity, I only believe in science. Whenever I hear "I've been a Christian and studied the Bible for so many odd years but I'm no longer one because of..." I make a point to really listen to that "because of" and so far it's because the Bible contains theological contradictions, so naturally I ask for a list of contradictions and what I get is the most amateurish arguments against Christianity such as; the New Testament was written a hundred of years after the 1st century, we don't have the original bible, people in the Bible were evil, science and the Bible are incompatible, jesus never said he is God and other entry level objections like that, they are all good objections but not from someone who's been studying the Bible and Christianity for over ten years, these objections are perfectly fine if it was to come from a person who never studied Christianity but when one says that they studied the Bible for over ten years and/or have a degree in biblical studies that's when I start asking myself "what was he really studying for all these years? We have the internet, information is literally at our fingertips, or why haven't they attended a Christian apologetic seminar? In the ten and some odd years have they ever heard of or been to an apologetics seminar?"
