is there a reason the leafs haven't called up easton yet? they drafted him, did they not? I'm a bit confused.

they did draft and sign him, yes! however, once a CHL player is sent back down to juniors, he has to wait until the next season starts to be called back up.

that said, though, they are eligible to be called up for playoffs, if need be!

although, in this case, i’d imagine it’s in treliving’s best interests to keep easton where he is, even come playoffs, considering the season easton’s currently having. it’s looking more and more likely by the day that the knights are going to make it to the memorial cup championship, and they very much need easton to be able to make that happen.

plus, we wouldn’t want to take away the very real possibility of easton meeting up with fraser minten at the mem cup final. an event that i would immediately become absolutely insufferable about.
