Hii! So I’m new in the Call of Duty fandom but I don’t play the games like on the ps5, etc… I only play Call of Duty on my phone and I got addicted and began digging deeper so here I am! Since I don’t/can’t play the different games of cod do you recommend any channels on youtube that does an amazing walkthrough of the games? I really really want to watch some walkthroughs but I don’t know whats the order of watching each game?? Does each game connect to each other? I’m still kind of confused since I’m still new😅😅. I’m sorry to disturb you though but I hope you can help me😭
To summarise before I go on a useless tangent and ramble needlessly, here are short answers for your questions:
Yes, the games are related. Modern Warfare 1+2+3 are chronological, and are the same story with the same characters. Similarly, it is widely believed that the Black Ops series + Cold War take place in the same timeline as Modern Warfare. I know for certain that Cold War is connected to MWI+II+III because Captain Price is a playable character in multiplayer, and the Black Ops series mention the same villains.
There is no particular chronological order in terms of a greater narrative, however, if you want to understand the story of Modern Warfare, watch walkthroughs of MWI, MWII, and finally MWIII. Black Ops has its own series so if you want to watch those too, you can, however you won't be missing major plot points in Modern Warfare if you choose not to. Cold War is in the same timeline as Modern Warfare, but you won't be missing major plot points in Modern Warfare either if you choose not to.
My advice: Watch game walkthroughs (I would recommend at least once, even in 2x speed, just so you know the general gist of the lore).
Watch COD compilations (trust me, there's LOADS) that are 10–20 mins long, and feature the most iconic scenes in the game back-to-back so you aren't missing anything
Dont resd this if you dont want to!!!vvv it's long and its just me sympathising with you becsude im in the same situation 💀💀... Vvvvvvv
... LMAO IM THE WORWT PERWON TO ASK BECUASE I CANT PLAY THE GAMES EITHER DJDJDJDJDJSJSJSJSJJSJS 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Played MW and MWII, theold versions only💔And i DONT hsve a PS5 EITHER so i csnt play the remasyers/reimagines, neithet can my parents justify buying the games just to hage a 100gb game on our PS4😫😫 were in this together anon,... 😓
I mostly have been going on youtube and tyoing out "MW 2019 walkthrough" and "MW2 2022 walkthrough" to see wheyher the plot has chsnged so i can keep up to daye and understand whay the fandom is on about !! Since ive plaued the older remasters , i watch these in like 1.75 speed or even just skip parts bc i already kniw what's gonna haooen mostly 😙✌️ but any scenes that im like "WOAH wtf is this i dint rmeebrt this happening🤨" I watch them 10–20min compilations of certain charwcyer moments 😌 Because i honestlu do NOT hsve the time to watch a whole ass 9–12h video in multiple sittings, i have homework and studyijg to be doing‼️‼️
And fir my headcannond/fanfictions , "[insert character here] voicelines" so i can understand the characyer thru their voicelines (like König and Krueger), as well as seeing their skins and backstories on theit respevtive wikis, googling their respectivr countries, ajd builfing my vision of these by also reading OTHER people's headcannons/fanfictions !! If you were to resd my oldest works, youd see thay my König was the fanon König, but as ivr gotten more used to writing him and changing my perception of his character+personality, you can tell how how i write for him has slowly developed 🙌
i feel like a hypocritetelling u to watch MWIII tho because neitjer have i plaued it NOR watched a walkthru bc my fav characters DIE and i dont wanna put myself thru that just yet😇 obviously, with MWIII remaster here, i think ill hage to soon ....
Im honoufed u chode yo ask ME of sll people !!☺️❤️❤️❤️... So im sorfy i couldnt be more useful ☹️💔💔💔

i want to play the call of duty games. can you rank the campaigns you've played from worst to best and give your thoughts on them please. you're the only CoD enjoyer whose opinion i trust online. is infinite warfare secretly the best one
PREFACE: I have not played a call of duty campaign before 2007 or after 2016. Also I went best to worst. Oops.
I like infinite warfare a shit ton and it’s probably the best IMO. I am not joking. Good war story, even if it’s sci-fi.
Then the next best are the first two black ops games (3’s a clusterfuck and 4 didn’t have a campaign. Also, know that black ops 3 is barely a sequel to black ops 2)
The next best ones are the original modern warfare games. COD 4, MW2 and MW3. All super fun times.
Honestly, play either the original modern warfare games or first two black ops games first. Both series are enjoyable and I see them as equals. Black ops 2 even has multiple endings, and COD 4+MW2 have great remasters. Remember the BO series is considerably less grounded in reality than the MW series…. If you can call either fully grounded.
Honorable mention: world at war’s campaign. I have not played that one actually, but I hear it’s a solid world war 2 story. Violent as fuck, which should be expected with treyarch’s games tbh
Skip: advanced warfare, ghosts. I could go more in depth about those, but trust me when I say AW is mid and ghosts is just fucking stupid (I have beaten ghosts 3 times, i should know)
Closing about modern COD games: Modern warfare 2019 is seen as very good by normies but has too many “yikes” moments that kinda conflict with my morals. Despite owning it, I don’t want to play the single player, and its sequels aren’t worth it. And disappointed the black ops campaigns after 2 are dumb? Don’t worry! Apparently Cold War (80’s themed prequel) is a good time. Black ops 6 (90’s themed prequel) may also be interesting, and next year is a direct continuation of black ops 2. I will certainly be buying that one tbh. I loved a lot about black ops 2.
I secretly have many call of duty opinions. Ask any other questions you may have

call of duty tiktok: ghosting your boyfriend
call of duty is a first-person shooter video game that was released by activision in 2003. COD (acronym pronounced like the fish), originally, focused on a WWII storyline involving a fictional military unit fighting historical threats. activison has since expanded outwards to other various battlefields – all centering around a team of deadly soldiers and a playable hero main character.
COD has been wildly successful; guinness world records marks it as being the best-selling first-person shooter series of all time. all of this violence and war has been marketed as more masculine, but there have been non-male fans of the franchise since its conception.
a popular character that has been present in the series since 2009 is simon “ghost” riley. he’s a british special forces operator with just about as much trauma as lazy writers can force on one character – one peek at his character wiki will leave you either breathless or with a headache.
simon "ghost" riley - photo: activision
here’s a quick, but by no means definitive, list of things that have happened to mr. riley across the franchise:
1. traumatic childhood 2. tortured (but never successfully brainwashed) by his turncoat unit leader. this leader is then killed by another boss and ghost is buried alive in his leader's casket, breaking out using the rotted jawbone of said former leader 3. temper-management issues 4. family killed by previously mentioned brainwashed comrades and ghost is framed for it 5. prevented nuclear war 6. shot point blank in the chest with a .44 7. snowmobile accident (blown up by a man named templar, who, if you can believe it, belongs to the enemy group ‘five knights’)
a lot of people separate ghost into '2009 ghost' and 'current ghost', in reference to the remaster of his original game. this allows for ghost to not only have a melancholy air, but melancholy potential. something that fans everywhere are chomping at the bit for.
ren's tiktok - notice the spelling of 'kill', 'prostitute', 'die', 'overdose', and 'murder'. there’s a lot more lore about this character, but the gist of it is that he’s a tragic anti-hero that is trying his best to do good (remind you of any other topics on this blog?)
on archive of our own, there’s about 8,000 pieces of fanfiction centering around ghost and his scottish squadmate, john ‘soap’ mactavish. there’s a substantial amount of fanfiction dedicated to ghost/female reader - that being a fanfiction about ghost written from a second person pov, with the protag having female characteristics - hovering around 2,500 works.
ghost is a growing character in terms of fanfiction, with a lot of the most popular pieces written in the past year or so, despite the character originally debuting almost 15 years ago; soap being introduced two years before that in 2007. i don’t think activision set out to create intense homoerotic subtext in their war-idolatry games, but, hey, it happens to the best of us.
what i’m discussing here is a more recent addition to all of this fanfare: the existence of ghost tiktok. the interesting thing about COD tiktok is that it's a growing female userbase slowly infiltrating a traditionally masculine part of the internet.
there are a few kinds of tiktoks that populate the ‘#simonghostriley’ tag. the major ones being edits of ghost clips from the newly remastered modern warfare 2 (released in 2022), or, more notably, tiktoks showcasing ghost cosplayers. cosplay, is of course, a portmanteau of ‘costume play’, describing the action of real life humans dressing up as their favorite (mostly) fictional characters. think comic con – anime, video games, movies.
ashanyx's tiktok - note the 2.7 million likes and the commenter 'Buzzarre'; i believe he is said boyfriend.
(there's also a smaller community of ghost fanfiction writers on tiktok. they post their work in sections screenshotted off their phone and put in a photo carousel. it's an ease-of-use thing - being able to read the fic without switching apps - and most ghost fanfiction exists in other corners of the internet which is why i didn't include it in this post.)
i want you to know, on a exclusively personal note, that these cosplay tiktoks were very hard to watch. i don’t know what it is, but the confidence that these (mostly) men go at these cosplays makes me itchy. explore at your own risk - and heed warnings, a lot of creators tag their content with 'MDNI' or 'minors do not interact'.
tiktok user 'smollgrim' - one of the pinned videos on his account describes his 'boundaries' - which he usually reiterates in shorthand in all of his tiktok descriptions.
this confidence is one of the reasons ghost tiktoks are so popular. ghost is a masked character that’s cocky with plenty of pre-recorded dialogue. combined, these things make him extremely accessible to cosplay. all you need is ghost’s iconic skull balaclava and you’re set. if you’re wondering why he wears a mask, the answer is sexy mystery (or facial scars. or as a intimidation tactic. you decide).
ghost, as a character, has all of our favorite love interest characteristics. powerful, aloof, and most importantly, being misunderstood. the mask allows him to remain emotionally anonymous, maybe he's smiling at a joke you made, or secretly blushing. this ambiguity is alluring to an audience, as they can project anything onto ghost - allowing for multiple interpretations from the same video clip of him.
ghosty's tiktok - see the diverse interpretations of the same clip of ghost killing an enemy: either he's angry because you're incompetent or he's protecting you. ghost sits at the same table as our favorite mafia bosses, the avengers, and draco malfoy.
while there is a larger community of 'real life' ghosts - cosplaying him involves a little bit more fanfare than the usual bad boy. since ghost is special forces, he wears a lot of military gear. this results in wannabe ghosts fully decking themselves out in tactical outfits - which they then use to play pretend in front of a camera with lights blinking on and off in the background.
these are two different tiktoks - jewels' has the search suggestion of 'call of duty cosplay x y n sad', which is very telling of what people are trying to get from these videos. cupid's tiktok has an audio saying 'this is a homicidal maniac! no you cannot date him.' - which is also very indicative.
the harsh contrast of these smug ghost cosplayers and the brutality of the media they're adopting remind me of a quote from the preface to the picture of dorian gray:
"We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely. All art is quite useless."
which, to me, means, yeah this might be ridiculous, donning face paint and night vision goggles to get compliments on tiktok, but life is ridiculous. that's kind of the whole point.
i can only see ghost getting more popular; famous internet personality brittany broski is infamously in love with these cosplayers and talks about it all the time on her various platforms.
(1) (2) - these are very popular ghost videos, and mentions of brittany flood the comments and search suggestions.
if i have learned anything from this research, it's that anti-heroes with lots of power will always be attractive to a large audience. no matter the melodrama, the violence, or the miscommunication, if bad boys exist, fandom spaces will be created - and i commend the internet for that.
#simon ghost riley#call of duty#tiktok#i wrote this post drinking tea out of a cup shaped like a ghost btw

15, 22, 28 and 31 from the game ask
15. Do you have a backlog and do you keep track of it? If so, how?
Okay i thought i was keeping pretty good track of all my games i need to finish then i remembered that i have a nintendo switch so im not doing as good as i thought there r so many games on there
22. A game ending that's really stuck with you
Rdr2, i wont say anything because i somehow managed to not have it spoiled at all for me before i played it and i never wanna spoil that game for anyone else but i will say that is the only time ive ever cried over a video game, that ending moved me i still think about it all the time
28. Pick a series you like. What was the first game you played for it? Was it a good starting point? Would it still be a good starting point now?
Ill give two answers because i love the witcher (books, show and games) but I’ve only played the third game, id definitely recommend it as a starting point, ik its the only game a lot of witcher fans have played (and you dont really even need to be a fan of the witcher to play it) and no offence to the other games, i cant wait to play the new version of the first one when it comes out but i play all my games with a controller and neither of the first two games work with a controller so
And second answer is call of duty, first game i played was modern warfare remastered and that’s definitely the best game to start with campaign wise (usually when i talk about cod im talking about the campaign)
31. Someone has never played a video game before but is open to trying any genre. What game would you recommend as their first?
Definitely rdr2 or the walking dead telltale games, ive talked about rdr2 a lot already but if u havent played it and need a game to play go play it!! Its on sale on steam rn
For twd games you dont need to be a fan of the series at all it just takes place in the same universe as the show, there are a few characters from the show that make an appearance but you dont need to know that they introduce themselves and make an impression in the game anyway. I dont wanna say a lot about the story because knowing me ill get way too into it and spoil it but also know you dont need to be a fan of horror games to play it!! Im not a fan of horror games but i love twd, its more story than scary zombie stuff but thats not saying there isnt any. If you do play these games and have a bad feeling about something just look up what happens and how to get through it quickly, or take a break <3

Someone Help Me Solve This Mystery: What Happened To The AAA Video Game Industry Between 2010 and 2016?
So if you're a nerd about the history of many big AAA video game franchises like I am, you might have noticed that the production of mainline games in their series moved at a pretty steady clip from about 1990-2010. Then something happened, and I'm not sure exactly what, but you can see it from the follow dates:
Super Mario Galaxy (2007) -> Super Mario Galaxy 2 (2010) -> Super Mario Odyssey (2017)
Skyward Sword (2011) -> Breath Of The Wild (2017)
Uncharted 3 (2011) -> Uncharted 4 (2016)
Final Fantasy XIII (2009) -> Final Fantasy XV (2016)*
Metroid Prime 3 (2007) -> Metroid: Other M (2010) -> Metroid Dread (2021)
Halo 4 (2012) -> Halo 5 (2015) -> Halo Infinite (2021)
Persona 4 (2008) -> Persona 5 (2016)
Borderlands 2 (2012) -> Borderlands 3 (2019)
God Of War III (2010) -> God Of War: Ascension (2013) -> God Of War [Reboot] (2018)
Devil May Cry 4 (2008) -> Devil May Cry 5 (2019)**
*I know this may look like I'm fudging the numbers since FFXIV came out between these two, making for a 2009->2013->2016 timeline, but consider that the last time SquareEnix had released a mainline/MMO/mainline trio like this, it was X (2001)->XI (2002)->XII (2006), which is notably shorter by 2 years.
**This also might look like I'm fudging the numbers because I'm not counting DmC (2013), but consider the fact that that game was actually contracted out to an entirely different studio - I think this is significant in itself.
A few major series I was looking up don't quite follow this pattern, though some of these have noticeable quirks in themselves. The Souls series (including its offshoots like Bloodborne, Sekiro, etc.) started during this otherwise "barren" period and flourished, interestingly. The Call Of Duty series apparently kept releasing games this whole time, though it feels worth mentioning that I didn't really hear much about any of them between, say, Black Ops II (2012) and the Modern Warfare reboot (2019). Gears Of War moved from 3 in 2011 to prequel Judgement in 2013 before releasing 4 in 2016, but a brief glance at the Wikipedia entry for the prequel indicates it was something of a flop. Assassin's Creed kept moving at a steady pace throughout the decade, for better or for worse. I was going to list Pikmin 3->4 as having perhaps the longest gap (10 years!), but then I realized that 2->3 was almost as long (9!).
Another notable thing is the fact that several franchises simply seemed to fizzle out in the middle of the period, never getting a proper sequel. Dead Space and Bioshock are some examples, both effectively ending in 2013 (not counting remasters/re-releases, etc.)
Also worth mentioning is that if my memory is correct, indie games absolutely flourished during this period (don't ask me for examples, there are too many).
So my question is: what happened in this industry that resulted in so many long gaps between major franchise entries between approximately 2010 and 2016 (and more often 2017)? Was it as simple as the impacts of the 2009 recession hitting a few years late/delayed effects? Or is there something more complicated going on here? Something social, political, technological, all of the above? I'm serious, this is an open call, please tell me if you have any insights.

I have found a way to connect two completely different fandoms together!
Call of Duty and Fast and Furious, specially the Hobbs and Shaw movie.
Okay, listen, right.
MI6. In F&F H&S it's mentioned bc it's literally a big part of the story line, but in CoD MW remastered, it's mentioned in the Countdown mission in the 3 game.
So....my idea would be having a agent of MI6 kind of appear in both story lines, and connect it in one big mission with TF141 along with mystery character, Hobbs and Shaw? Oh, and Soap doesn't die bc we love him💕

Hi!
Do you know/ play call of duty?
If not or you don’t want to know please stop readying now 🛑 Spoiler alert 🚨
*
*
*
I was so mad and sad how soap died! In Orginal you felt the death, the loses… now it’s a 3 min cutscene. I have the feeling the gaming scene become more and more cheep or at least lacking passion.
I do know Call of Duty, and I played it heavily from 2007 - 2016, basically from Call of Duty 4 to Black Ops 3, with Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops 2 being my favourite ones in terms of the multiplayer. I stopped playing after Black Ops 3 though, I didn't really like the direction that the series was taking.
Regarding the single player campaigns though, yeah I got upset at Soap's death. I haven't played the recent remastered versions, but I heard that the campaigns of the remastered Modern Warfare games had a retelling of the original story? I doubt I'll play them so I may as well spoil myself on what happens, lol.

CALL OF DUTY THE MOVIE Teaser
The series originally focused on the World War II setting, with Infinity Ward developing the first (2003) and second (2005) titles in the series and Treyarch developing the third (2006). Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) introduced a new, modern setting, and proved to be the breakthrough title for the series, creating the Modern Warfare sub-series. The game's legacy also influenced the creation of a remastered version, released in 2016. Two other entries, Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and Modern Warfare 3 (2011), were made. The sub-series received a reboot with Modern Warfare in 2019, with a sequel released in 2022. Infinity Ward have also developed two games outside of the Modern Warfare sub-series, Ghosts (2013) and Infinite Warfare (2016). Treyarch made one last World War II-based game, World at War (2008), before releasing Black Ops (2010) and subsequently creating the Black Ops sub-series. Four other entries, Black Ops II (2012), III (2015), 4 (2018), and Cold War (2020) were made, the latter in conjunction with Raven Software.

CoD Notes: 4 Beat
Yes, I started and finished Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare since the last time I took notes just a couple days ago. Or rather, I started and finished Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, but the campaign is the same.
I had never played this before past the tutorial. I was a little unsure at first, but this ended up being an absolute ton of fun. Already I can already tell how much of MW2’s Spec Ops references this game.
Definitely the standout section is All Ghillied Up. Or is it? I always hear everyone praise this mission, but I much preferred the second half of the Chernobyl flashback, which I think is called “One Shot” or something similar. The heavily ballistic sniper shot, rappelling down, limited time escape, then especially having to carry MacMillan all the way to the Ferris wheel then Home Alone-ing it until helps arrives.
But I enjoyed the whole game, really. It never dragged or felt boring. I had at least some context for each mission, although I will admit that the British missions are far more appealing than the American ones here.
And it’s so much fun to see Price and Gaz and get to be Soap! Now I know why I don’t remember Gaz from playing MW2 as a kid, RIP. His only character trait was wearing a baseball cap, I can’t believe they brought him back or that anyone was mad they changed his skin color. I will admit that I prefer Price’s new gravely voice actor over his old one.
The modern weaponry is just so much more fun to use, especially after trying 6 WW2 games in a row and beating 3. And I also feel like this game does a much better job of providing a variety of locales, objectives, scenarios since it isn’t locked to just WW2.
My biggest issue with this game is the infinitely respawning enemies. I’m sure every CoD campaign has this in places, but it’s most egregious here. Sometimes you literally have to move 10 feet forward to stop the infinite respawning despite no indication of that. It was most frustrating the first time when I didn’t understand what was happening, but it’s not so bad once you learn to push forward any time the enemies don’t seem to stay dead.
I think one key difference from this CoD compared to the previous beyond the obvious time setting, is the tone. Every CoD before has been trying to be a “war movie”, but this one is an “action movie”. The stunts and set pieces in this game feel closer to a James Bond or Mission Impossible than “what if Saving Private Ryan was set in modern times”.
Oh, and of course the iconic nuke mission. Finally, this series uses the “multiple protagonist gimmick” for something useful. It’s so ominous leading into it, too, with the helicopter you’re on making an emergency rescue despite the threat of a potential nuclear bomb. Very fun, helps sell the stakes on the rest of the game too. I didn’t think it would come so early in the plot.
I also generally just really enjoyed the last few mission in sequence for feeling so high stakes and action-y. Maybe I’m just still so fresh on not being in WW2 anymore. And of course the finale where you shoot the big bad is a lot of fun
And finally, a game where I was able to pretty much just use the guns I start with. I recognize that there’s more agency if I’m constantly switching weapons, but it was nice to be able to just be given a solid weapon to blast people with. And I don’t have to exclusively use iron sights! Having attachments at all is a nice change. Definitely at the point where each attachment on a gun makes it into an entirely different weapon, which I kind of miss.
I did play just enough multiplayer to get to level 4 and unlock Create a Class, which took maybe 3 or 4 matches. First off, it is bizarre the way that they have inserted loot boxes and micro transactions into a decade old game. At least the micro content they add is additive rather than charging you for stuff that already existed, but still. It is very funny that this games seems to have only ever gotten 3 holiday events and they seem to just all be permanent now that the game is clearly abandoned.
On the topic of multiplayer, I don’t seem to be very good. But that might just be because i was using default classes and going up against serious veterans of the game still playing after all these years. I do appreciate the simplicity of it all. I had forgotten about the whole “perk 1 is just equipment” thing from WaW that seems to be present here too. No homing launcher in multiplayer??? Grenade launcher takes a peek slot? And of course unlocking attachments through kill challenges seems so antiquated, and how few attachments there are. Also weird to see new weapons added to the game.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll be sucked into this game’s multiplayer. I just don’t have any nostalgia for this one in particular and no existing progress to build off of.
Oh, also the ending credit song is hilarious. Can’t believe that’s Griggs! I liked Griggs, I’m kind of sad he died and didn’t return in the new games. Also I did beat Mile High Club on my first try, granted that was on regular difficulty.
This game was so much less of a chore than CoD 3 and not just because of the remastered graphics.
I may have to replay the game someday on Wii in Squadmate mode because that is simply too funny to resist. I think I’ll be skipping the DS games for now though. Not enough time in the day for that.

There are rumours that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III launch maps will just be remastered versions of MWII(2009)Maps The evolution of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) has been marked by a number of inconsistencies and question marks throughout its development history. It all started in February 2022 when a reliable report was published by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier stating that this year will be the first year since 2004 in which the Call of Duty franchise would not have a brand new, premium, annual mainline release. According to that source, the gap would be filled by downloadable content for Modern Warfare II (2022) as well as a free-to-play game developed by Treyarch. The latter project, which was later described in greater detail by leaker Tom Henderson as "Project Nexus," is likely tied to zombies in some way. However, not long after that, Activision said that they have 'premium content' planned for 2023 and beyond. Another famous Call of Duty leaker stated in October 2022 that Modern Warfare II would receive downloadable content in the form of a campaign as well as a map pack in the latter half of 2023. At this moment, everyone believed that the publisher was referring to that as the "premium content" that was mentioned earlier. In November 2022, Schreier once again added fuel to the fire by commenting that Sledgehammer will be the developer of the paid expansion and would feature "lots of content" in the downloadable content (DLC). At that time, he continued to assert that the following game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, would not be released until the year 2024. The consensus among industry insiders, however, shifted in February of 2023. Within Activision, Tom Henderson was the first person to report a change in plans. These expansion ideas were refocused by the publisher into a full premium release inside the Modern Warfare subseries, which was given the title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Henderson also disclosed the complete public rollout for this brand new game, which is as follows: The first beta weekend will be place on PS4 and PS5 between October 6 and October 10, 2023. Beta weekend 2 will take place from October 12 to October 16 in 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Early Access to the Campaign (PS4 and PS5) will begin on November 2, 2023 Complete Launch (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC): November 10, 2023 The week before last, the release date was officially announced, therefore it is reasonable to presume that the remainder of the timetable is authentic, as well. Activision also 'corroborated' earlier rumours and made the announcement that Operators, Weapons, and Bundles from the game released the year before would carry over to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The announcement was made in the previous month. A few days ago, we were given more information indicating that there may be certain elements missing, including: There is a possibility that some of the content will not be accessible if Modern Warfare III features a different set of gameplay options. For instance, if MWIII does not include the Tactical Amphibious Vehicle or a certain piece of Tactical or Lethal Equipment in any of the game modes, any Skins that you unlocked for these items in MWII will not be available in MWIII. This also applies to any Skins that you unlocked for these items in MWI. In addition, the music known as Wartracks will not be carried over from the previous game to the third. There is a new rumour circulating about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and if it turns out to be true, fans are going to be very upset. The launch maps for this new game are simply updated copies of the levels that were included in Modern Warfare II in 2009. It would become even more obvious in this way that Modern Warfare III was only ever intended to be an expansion pack, despite the fact that Activision is most certainly going to sell it at its full price now.
Other Call of Duty leakers, such as ProReborn and TheGhostOfHope, are hinting that some major and maybe unpleasant news is about to hit the franchise in the near future. However, it is not obvious whether this news is connected to the rumour that launch maps will be changed. In any case, there are only two days left until we start receiving more official data directly from Activision.

Games I’ve played this year and how I rate them (not that anyone cares):
Open-World:
Horizon Zero Dawn 3.5/5⭐️: Amazing lore, however I’ve played Forbidden West as well and the controls felt too chunky
Horizon Forbidden West: 5/5⭐️ Another amazing part in the horizon series. Aloys adventure through the forbidden west and her personal development made the games worth playing for a second time.
Horizon Burning Shores: 4/5⭐️ Amazing fights, great lore and beautiful setting. Wished that it was longer. I would’ve loved more side quests, but the existing ones were touching.
Red Dead Redemption 2: 5/5⭐️ A replay in which I played through all story and side missions again. Beautifully portrayed story through Arthur Morgan which makes you feel like you’re in 1899 riding on your horse. :)
The Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom: 5/5⭐️ Even better than Breath of the Wild. Amazing expansion to already existing characters and a beautifully told story throughout the game. High rec for switch players.
Non-Open World/Shooters:
The Last of Us Part 1: 4/5⭐️ I loved the show and played it, took my time and enjoyed it. Wouldn’t replay it though.
The Last of Us II: -/5⭐️ I got the whole game spoiled and dropped it.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare I&II (original): 4.5/5⭐️ Great story writing and definitely worth playing for the campaign. IMO better than the remasters but the remasters were great too.
CoD Modern Warfare 2019&2022: 4.5/5⭐️ Made the characters more authentic and had amazing stories. I love the 141. Only thing I didn’t like were the stealth missions in the 2019 game.
Cosy games:
Stardew Valley: 5/5⭐️ I like to casually play this :)
