(major spoilers for the show ONE by Cheesy hfj on YouTube. I recommend watching it!! It takes a bit more than 2 hours to go through it completely)

WAIT GUYS

i think I have a theory on why ONE (by Cheesy hfj) is called ONE

I know many people thought and still think it stands for "Objects Never Escape" and that's cool too but

Basically, the last episode of the show is called "Self-Titled". At first I thought it would refer to Airy's selfishness or lack of ability to be compassionate or perceive his games contestants as something beyond his own pleasure. Perhaps referring to his newfound apathetic nature and loss of empathy due to his severe long isolation caused by his death. (Obviously he cares about them, but he is extremely emotionally immature and doesn't realize he's caused far too much suffering on all the contestants)

But then, for an episode called "Self-Titled" I had obviously felt an urge to look at the title of the show itself to draw possible connections.

ONE.

The final episode of the Show called "ONE" is named "Self-Titled", in which the primary plot device is a guy who's went through severe isolation for more than ten years (I know he said he's probably been on the plane for "about ten years" but given how calculatory states the competition he "dreamed of" was about ten years ago, so i reckon, given the amount of time required for Airy to find out how to teleport to the plane, use the computer and make a world, he's been there for more than ten years. And besides, his perception of time in a place where there's probably no clocks has probably been really f*cked up.).

ONE might as well be referring to Airy, as he is the only one. He is one, he is all and was all by himself for so long, probably craving any form of connection, so much so as to force people into his own little world for him to look over. That way, he wouldn't be ONE, he would have more people with him, he wouldn't be alone anymore. (Sort of reminds me of The Collector from The Owl House).

In the final episode, when Airy dies, Liam Plecak is now the only ONE. He's now alone and will have to go through quite Similiar suffering as Airy did (though I don't think he would turn out the same way Airy did, given the deep trauma he received from him). The show ends with Liam sitting by the computer, and once we've been made sure Airy died, and Liam is now alone and will have to figure it all out by himself, the title of the show ONE appears, remarking how Liam is ONE.

Airy mightve called the competition ONE due to how he felt so alone. Idk.

Airy will now still be alone, lonely, even lonelier than before, having to figure out how to navigate himself once again in the waiting room. (No he was NOT sent back to The Plane once he died, he was sent to the waiting room as all do. Everyone in the show has a different waiting room, this has been shown before by Texty seeing puppies and Bryce seeing his old neighborhood and his sister, and Liam interestingly enough simply seeing an empty vast space. This could all mirror their wants, or perhaps what they miss or what they strive to get back the most? Or the thing they most appreciate. Or something like that lolz)

Anyhow I could be wrong. Feel free to add to this or correct me on my misinterpretations (if this post gets any recognition in the first place)

ive given up on extraordinarily Excellent entities for now. I don't like reference "humor" for an example of it from back then I put Swing You Sinners by Fliscer Studios on the table. You see that in the graveyard one of the ghosts looks like someone. Who? It's too outdated to tell, really. The punch is gone if there ever was one. TDOS suffers the exact same way. If I see cringe pill I know half of the time the joke has already ceased to be funny. The other half it was never. Now take Bimbo's Initiation, for a counterpoint it has some jokes in it the feud with disney ended poorly so we can understand why mickey was being a rat and half get the reference. But when Bimbo opens a door to a skeleton who has a "bone to pick" with their partner? That's still out of left field and funny. But other little bits and bobs get smoothed out over time. Abbot and Costello are STILL funny in almost all of their skits. The ones I've seen at least. The true comedy never died. References will. Now if only I could hear the firesign theaters audio plays I would rate that too.

I'm actually quite the fan of reference humor! The problem is tho that you have to get the reference in order for it to be funny. It's why I don't recommend single seasons of object shows just because they're more well-done, nearly every object show has self-referential humor and they rely on you having seen the previous seasons first (it's why I call it Paper Puppets and not Paper Puppets Take 2. Ppt2 is season 2, not the whole show. Same applies for BFB vs BFDI as a whole). It's a shame bc a lot of single seasons become more well-known then their whole shows (OBS for example. Obsolete Battle Show is season 3 of Calculatory Battle Grounds, which I had never heard of despite seeing OBS around incredibly often) but it's just a staple of object shows at this point since BFDI does it so often
