Amphibia AU: Blooms of Calamity- Ideas and Concepts

Storyline/Plot: After discovering the Calamity Box, Anne and her friends are transported to Amphibia, but with a bit of a twist; They gain special, magical cosmic-like flower powers...

(The AU also features a lot of wholesome Sashannarcy moments between Anne, Sasha and Marcy, and sibling-like moments.)

Anne Boonchuy

Gender: Female

Age: 12-13 years old

Appearance/Looks: Tall, yet a bit shortish, has long fluffy, flowing bushy ginger-brownish colored hair, her eyes a beautiful blue, sapphire gleam. Her hair blooms with beautiful, glowing sapphire light blue colored flowers and roses, wear's a yellow colored high top sneaker on her right foot, but only wears a baggy sock on her left one...Always wears a baggy blue and blue striped hoodie jacket with yellow cat ears on.

Likes: K-Pop Music, Flowers, Nature, Frog's, Chinese Food, Hanging out with her two best friends, Marcy and Sasha, Exploring, Movies and her Parents, along with her pet cat, Domino, working at her parents Thai restaurant, 'Thai Go', Dancing, Singing.

Personality: Anne's personality in this AU is a bit different from the original show's: She is known as a very adventurous, kind-hearted, sweet, lovable, and nature-loving person. Always wanting to help others, she is known for her energy and enthusiasm to be almost like a hero!

Powers/Abilities: The types of powers Anne has are very interesting, she is able to make the flowers blooming in her hair change color and appearance with different emotions she feels, example; When being happy, the flowers in her hair change to a light greenish hue, and morph into sun flower-like states! She also has the ability to summon vines from her palms and feet, and use them like whips. She also has a bit of her own calamity powers in this Alternate Universe, (But I'll be saving that for some other time when I come up with more ideas for her Calamity Form.) Anne also has another ability, such as being able to speak to plant's and animals through telepathy

Fun Fact: The Anne in my AU loves to play the ukulele, which is why she her parents got her one on her 13th birthday!

Marcy Regina Wu

Age: 12-13 years old

Gender: Female

Appearance/Looks: Marcy is a bit shorter then Anne and Sasha, but almost as tall as the two, she is seeing always wearing a baggy grey hoodie jacket on, baggy shorts, and brown shoes on her feet for clothing...Her eyes, just as Anne, have a faint gleam, colored dark green. She also wears a small tiny pin in her hair, that she was gifted from by her parents, her hair is a beautiful blackish color, as dark as coal. Has round circle shaped glasses on her face, her entire face covered in adorable brown freckles. Her hair is actually very long and photogenetic without her hair clip on, but she's a bit too self conscious to show it to people...Hair bloom's in beautiful glowing dark greenish flowers, shining with diamonds and white spots.

Personality: Shy, adorable, silly, goofy and clumsy, yet innocent and naive. Though, despite her anxieties, Marcy is true to her heart, and will try her best to do the right things in the end, even if it causes her to get hurt.

Likes: Video Games, Fantasy-Based RPG Games, Pepperoni Pizza, Fast Food, Chocolate, Researching Flowers and Plants, Sunny Days, Hanging out with Anne and Sasha, Mint Ice cream, Getting Hugs.

Fun Fact: Marcy has had a huge crush on Anne and Sasha ever since she was a little kid, and she still has ever since. Though, she's not sure how to tell them how she feels about them...

Sasha swap au running for mayor by _spaceic_

Set in an au where the calamity trio ended up in different parts of amphibia at the beginning. Sasha ended up wartwood and was taken in by the planters.

I think the episode where Hoppop runs for mayor would be a little bit different with Sasha. I think would Sasha would want to run hop pops campaign. She would eventually get upset when hoppop isn't following the script she wrote for him. Then decides to run for mayor herself.

I also think Sasha wouldn't be as hurt by being seen as the town monster. I think She would embrace it a little bit and think it's funny too Make up stories about humans to scare the towns people. Which is why she thinks these are good campaign slogans for her. She made her own campaign posters using arts and crafts that she's very proud of.

Eventually the townspeople realize they can all can run for mayor and every member of the town starts their own campaign and each of them votes for themselves. mayor toadstool is able to get re-elected by two votes.

I know the usual role swap AU has Marcy in Wartwood, Anne in Toad Tower and Sasha in Newtopia but I think it's be hilarious to see Sasha in Wartwood, Marcy in Toad Tower and Anne in Newtopia.

Andrias encourages Anne's worst vices, her selfishness and laziness. He just gives her a room and infinite money and lets her do whatever she wants, facing no consequences for her actions whatsoever because all Andrias cares about is using her as bait for her two more competente friends to come looking for. Only thing in her favor is that she DOES have the Calamity Box, which she gives to Andrias without question as soon as he promises to send her back home. Problem is that it's uncharged, and Anne at this point is too useless to do anything about it, so he, alongside Lady Olivia, have to keep up with this spoiled brat, forcing fake smiles and praying that her friends show up soon. He even sends Yunnan to go find them, because this weird annoying alien kid is causing disasters in the city every two days and all Andrias can think about is "jeez now I remember why I never had children".

Marcy in Toad Tower has a very Entrapta-Hordak kind of relationship with Grime (without the romance) in the sense that she's too enthralled by the wonders of Amphibia to be scared. She might not have the social abilities Sasha has but she DOES have an extensive knowledge of Age of Empires types of games, her strategies are UNMATCHED. While she is terrified during the first two weeks, while she's locked in a cell (this is NOT what her isekai fantasy looked like in her head), she soon proves her usefulness when she yells strategic advice from behind bars, demanding to be let out because she NEEDS to be in that war meeting! That strategy won't work! She saw it in an a dozen different animes, she knows how this ends! Though she's not very aware of the brutal reality of Toad Tower - she really just thinks she ended up with a cool warrior order she's helping defeat their enemies.

But Sasha in Wartwood takes the cake. If she ends up with the Plantars like Anne, she's an absolute menace for Sprig and Polly because she's one hell of a bad influence. Hop Pop takes it as a challenge - he thinks she wants to force him to kick her out, and he won't give her what she wants! Plus he's very aware of the ways in which she tries to manipulate his grandchildren and he won't allow it! Every time she gets them in trouble on purpose she has to do a full day of farm work, or to clean Bessie's stables. It's his way of telling her he can see straight through her bullshit and he won't tolerate it. If she wants to turn his kids into little delinquents she will have to get through him first! She probably becomes closer to Polly than Sprig, Sprig being a bit too much of a goody two shoes to follow half of her plans, while Polly is a natural troublemaker that joins in to whatever mischief Sasha comes up with. Though seeing Polly, a small child, continue to get in trouble and suffer the consequences for Sasha's actions, kind of triggers her more protective insticts. The moment Hop Pop realized she was making progress was when he saw her admit, in front of the whole town, that she was responsible for whatever trouble they had earlier, and she only did that because she felt responsible for Polly.

Btw she gets sooooo irrationally mad when Hop Pop gets a girlfriend and encourages Sprig's frustration, whispering like a devil in his ear that this is how it starts: first he gets a girlfriend, then you stop being his priority and suddenly he has new kids and a new family and you're not part of it. Trust me, buddy, single dads getting girlfriends is bad news. We should push her into the river!

Though I do wonder if it'd be even funnier if she ended up with someone you would never expect, like Mrs. Croaker. This old woman has her clean and cook for her all day long while complaining that she's doing everything wrong but she's the only person in town who lets her crash in her couch so it's her fucking snow white arc or getting eaten by a giant mantis.

As expected, Toad Tower and Newtopia makes the girls worse while Wartwood makes them better. While Marcy is kept in the dark and used for her intelligence to commit war crimes and Anne is allowed to be even more selfish and useless, Sasha becomes incredibly protective of her new family and this little town that suddenly looks to her to keep them safe and provide.

Amphibia AU where Anne notices Andrias attempting to attack Marcy, her powers flare back up long enough her to push Marcy out of the way and into the portal, taking the blow for her while Marcy and the Plantars are warped back to Los Angeles.

• Before the portal warps Marcy back instead of the "I-I'm sorry... for everything." that Marcy gives, Anne tries to comfort Marcy, saying "D-Don't worry, M-Mar-Mar... I probably w-would have done the s-same if I had to be separated from y-y-you and Sash...".

• While back in Willow Brooke, Marcy can't bare to confront her parents so she decides to stay with the Boonchuys. Obviously, after she explains why she ran away and her need to get everyone back home, they let her and the Plantars stay as long as they need. Marcy tells them about Amphibia but, like Anne, leaves out the parts about the evil king....... and the fact that she saw their daughter get stabbed through the torso and possibly die... instead she lies that Anne is still perfectly fine back in Wartwood.

• Marcy is more angsty about this whole thing than Anne appeared to be in canon. Made even worse by the fact that every time she sees the people she now lives with, she is reminded that her cowardice cost them the most important person in their families. She also finds being the only one of her friends to make it back to the place that she tried so hard to run away from as a form of twisted irony. A cosmic punishment for tampering with a mystical artifact that was far beyond her understanding, leading to her friends and their loved ones paying the price for it.

•A lot of the same plot beats still happen such as Fight at the Museum, Fixing Frobo, If You Give A Frog A Cookie, and Mr. X but episodes such as Thai Feud and Temple Frogs don't due to Marcy obviously not having the same familial bonds as Anne and Adventures in Catsitting due to The Boonchuys being unable to schedule a dentist's appointment for a child that is not under their legal guardianship.

• Marcy wears her blue Newtopian cloak even with her casual clothing just in case she sees her parents and needs to hide her face from them under her hood so they don't recognize her. (There is a running gag through season 3 where she has to make sure she doesn't stand under any sprinklers in case her cloak spontaneously combusts.)

• Back in Amphibia, The Core, now no longer having Marcy, decides to take Anne. Now calling themself Dianne, they use Anne not for her mind... but instead for her power and to use it for it's namesake.............. to bring about Calamity.

• Andrias still sends out the Assassin bot to Willow Brooke to kill Marcy and the Plantars in order to tie up any loose ends in his plans.

• Marcy's Calamity powers awaken while protecting the Plantars in the Supermarket and finds that her powers allow her to use magic though the use of any staff-like object. In this case, a metal pipe in the storage freezer that she was going to use to bash in the robot's head, and summons a blast of energy that sends the Assassin bot packing. Marcy later buys a foldable walking staff from a drug store and carries it around in her satchel in case of "Magical Girl emergencies" as she calls them. (Her powers are an homage to Matt's original idea for Marcy to be a sorceress.)

• In this version of Anne-sterminator, it's laundry day and since Marcy can't go back to her house to grab clean clothes, she has to wear some of Anne's, namely her iconic St. James Middle School uniform. When the Assassin bot comes to kill Marcy, it sees Marcy in Anne's clothes and gets confused allowing everyone time to escape. In the junkyard, Marcy whips out her staff and uses her Calamity powers to cast an Anti-gravity spell on the Assassin bot, launching it into orbit where it's bomb detonates. Marcy finally has to come clean about Andrias and what happened to Anne. While the Boonchuys are devastated about Anne, they know that Anne would have wanted to get the Plantars and Sasha back home and use that as motivation to keep going.

• While in The Core, Anne's Fantasy world is one where Amphibia and Earth are merged into one. (A tongue in cheek mocking of Star vs' ending) She gets sus when she notices everyone acting off. When Anne calls bull on the whole thing, The Core leaves her in the darkness with only the light of her phone containing her real memories to keep her company.

• During The Core's invasion, Dianne uses Anne's Calamity powers in their fight against Sasha making it far more of a brutal beat-down than a proper 1v1. When Grime sacrifices himself, it causes Sasha's Calamity powers to awaken, making it a fair fight.

• While battling Andrias, when Marcy starts running low on Calamity juice, Andrias starts mocking her. Telling her that "If she wants to, he'll gladly let her use the music box to take her to another world where she can run away from her problems.... again." and this, along with the Boonchuys playing "As If It's Your Last" by Blackpink over the city's loudspeakers to remind Marcy that she's doing all this for Anne leads to an epic tear filled "I'm... Done... Running..." as she twirls her staff around, her powers flare back up, and she gets her second wind.

These are some old designs from a year ago for my Au call the corruption of amphibia. I made this au back in 2020 but ditch it after awhile.

Description:

It all began from True Colours. With the box destroyed during Anne's and Andreas's fight, it unleashed the gems power to the Calamity trio as they were linked to the gems. Their bodies became corrupted from the sheer power they received in that instant, insighting a war shortly after.

Five years later and the trio have seperated, but remained trapped in Amphibia. Marcy is left alone in hiding after the deaths of Olivia and Yunnan, but learned how to use the dark arts and fight in close combat. Marcy regrets everything, feeling guilty for everything that happened as she was the reason for everyone being trapped in Amphibia. Her priority is to get herself and her friends back to Earth and does all she can, even if it will take many more years to do so.

Sasha is fighting alongside Grime in the Great Amphibian War, often using her time to reflect on how she treated her friends during those five years. She feels horrible that she mistreated her friends in the past, but understands that too much of time has passed to do anything even if she still cares about them.

After the beginning of the war, Anne and the Planters returned back to Wartwood. They had to retreat underground in order to keep them and the rest of the town safe. Anne was not the same after her return, unable to comprehend that her closest friends betrayed her, both of them on the same day... And it fucked her up... a lot...

Probably Sasharcy (of course in the context of Sashannarcy). I absolutely adore all variants of the Calamity Trio but I just tend to drift towards them. My guess is that the personality contrast, and possibly just how much they both need to grow and forgive each other. I don't know it just intrigues me.

I also really like platonic Zelink from the BotW/TotK iteration.

And I Know I Kissed You Before (But I Didn't Do It Right) - BearerOfTheBitterMoon (liminal-lesbian on here) - Okay I could put all of Mara's fanfics on here. Her writing style and story concepts are just amazing. But we'd be here all day, so we're not going to do that. This one specifically though, was just such an emotional rollercoaster (without leaving with permanent emotional trauma, ex: The Three Body Problem). It's very sweet, it's very sad and it all just feels so real. If that makes any sense

A Witch In Wartwood - Disect - I haven't finished the sequel fanfic yet, but I love this story. It had a very creative take on a Swap AU, and it did a really good job at capturing the essence of the original show while also completely being it's own thing.

Pinpoint - i'm-at-my-limit - Okay, I need to get caught up on this one, because I love the concept and I find it's characterization really interesting but I'm also behind by like two chapters because I wasn't reading as much for a while.

Across The Seven Seas - Heart_Wit_Strength - Did I successfully trick you into thinking I wasn't going to say this? Did it work? Seriously though this is one of those fanfics that I read, immediately reread and proceeded to think about for the next three days. I actually have fan art of it that I need to complete some day. I don't know what you did, but you succeeded at it.

Then there's this one fanfic about Sasha that I really like, but I cannot find it or remember what it is called.

(I have quite a few others that I really liked, these are just the four that were in my brain apparently)

12. What's the funniest or craziest AU idea you've ever come up with?

So the same week that I created Daren, I also created what I call that Devil in the Details AU. Which is one of those AUs where it could be angsty, but I decided it was way funnier to write absurd shenanigans.

Basically Marcy, a lonely and aimless college student, opens a music box (gifted to her by her academic mentor, Andrias) and ends up with Darcy as the devil on her shoulder. Then Anne and Sasha are sent by heaven to prevent her from becoming corrupted and taken over by them.  

Of course, it’s a massive train wreck. 

Darcy is trying to convince Marcy that she should trust them. But because Sasha and Anne are almost always there they can only accomplish this through underhanded life coaching. (Though when Sasha and Anne aren’t there it’s manipulation is more direct).

Sasha is a nearly fallen angel who has taken to giving beneficial but selfish advice and also physically attacking any devils that she ends up paired with. 

Anne is just trying to get Sasha back on the right path and to find a way to get rid of Darcy so Marcy can go back to a normal life.

Then Marcy who was incredibly lonely finally has a social life and people that she can get engaged in her interests. So she’s convinced this is a great thing and is scheming to make it permanent. 

And from this queue all of the comedic shenanigans that could possibly come out of it. But also Anne and Sasha helping guide Marcy into making a life for herself that she really wants rather than what everyone kept telling her she wanted. While Darcy of course tries to counteract that because they assume she searching for a very specific type of success and do not understand any other idea.

13. What's a character or ship you haven't written/drawn yet but would like to some day?

So ironically the answer here is also Sasharcy. I’m not sure how this happened but we have two Sashanne centric AUs (TOH and BotW) and two Marcanne centric ones (Witch Marcy and also BotW). But none of them have focused on Sasha and Marcy specifically (aside from post breakup in the Witch Marcy AU). It's a really interesting occurrence

ive been rereading A Theory of Butterflies and Other Insects by the lovely @/calamity-unlocked and i caught the swap au brainworms so. heres some rambling about what i think would happen if anne wound up at toad tower (long post warning!!!!)

Anne would likely follow a similar path that Sasha does, but for very different reasons, which is something interesting to think about

Anne would also rise to the top through friendship/compliments, except they are genuine

Anne’s strength is genuine interpersonal relationships, whereas Sasha’s (at least in Prison Break) is manipulation, but they both thrive in this specific situation

It only takes Anne a week or two to befriend almost everyone in the tower, except Grime, who thinks that shes manipulating his guards

“BRADDOCK!  Why is the creature out of her cell?  She’s dangerous!”  “Aww, but boss, she’s teaching us how to paint our nails :(“

Eventually, when Grime is attempting to interrogate her, she spills out everything.  How she blames herself for getting her and her friends trapped here, how if she’d only stood up to Sasha for once and not stolen the box they would still be safe at home, everything.

In Wartwood, she was always occupied going on weekly adventures, but at the Tower, she had a lot of solitary confinement time to reflect and inevitably blame herself for what happened.

Remember, this is early s1 Anne- she is full of self doubt and, as she said herself, does not love herself yet :( so all this spiraling think time is not good for her

This FINALLY gets to Grime.  She starts sobbing and he's like holy shit,, she's not a horrible evil beast, she's just an insecure teenager

He lets her out and she's actually very helpful

She learns to swordfight and is a very loyal soldier.  She’s been a follower her whole life, it comes easy to her

When the herons attack, she rallies the troops and inspires them to fight back, earning her the role as Grime’s lieutenant !!

there will inevitably be more, but i only tackled prison break for now since beyond that she would have to interact with marcy and i havent entirely sorted out marcy in wartwood yet!!

im also very excited to write abt sasha in newtopia... i think she and andrias would hate each other so so much and she wouldn't stop poking around the castle

Edits of the Calamity Trio, Plantars, and concepts for a character from an Amphibia dream I had! Sorry for the one gillion variations of Anne(? Anne's twin?)'s armor, i couldn't remember or decide on a color scheme. Thinking of making an au & oc out of the dream! Anyways, the dream is as follows(edited from my original text dump onto a random doc):

Hop Pop may have been more salmon/reddish, Sprig more melon(crayola)/orangeish, Polly more pink/violet-red(crayola).

There was a medicine frog(consultant on vibes by inherent or potion-enhanced divinity/clairvoyance), she was a squat lilac frog(toad-shaped chin?) who reminded me of Maddie's village/town role had she been grown up at the time of the (actual canon) show. Maybe Maddie was training as a hobby to become one?(Very much something she'd chosen and could back out of at any time, nothing she was pressured into, each frog had their own take on the job, the important part was protecting the village.) Wartwood was more of a village than a town, just a little bigger & more spread out than Ichigo/the tlg boy's village.

I was Anne, but i was like a me version of Anne?, with hella anxiety, wearing a lot more blue than canon Anne, and in possession of my soft pj pants & a soft human-made blanket from earth. Sasha was from Newtopia & wore a swap au(like had she landed in Newtopia) outfit but less shirt-and-skirt under the armor and more dress, kinda cocoon segments of very pale to more saturated pastel coral-y pinks. Marcy wore her same Amphibia outfit as in canon, but w more of a toad touch? That or she was also raised /taken in by newts, just in a more rural area than Sasha.

Marcy and Sasha had come to the village to find either others of their kind(had heard rumors of me/Anne/Anne's twin) or their long lost bff(Anne, which they were hoping it was). It was either a Lost And Found AU situation except we ended up in Amphibia a couple to few years earlier than in canon, or were raised in Amphibia since ending up there as defenseless toddlers.

When they came I was recovering from an anxiety attack and so couldn't reliably evaluate their danger level when they asked to come into & stay at our village to get to know me, so the medicine frog did the danger evaluation instead. I remember being embarrassed that my outfit/clothes were so plain compared to them both, since I only wore my school uniform(how was it still my size?? dream logic?? coincidentally uniform-like outfit custom-made for Anne's twin/me?) and some frog-made(not from Newtopia, but was like a recolor of her canon armor) armor chest piece.

Later, we were at a bar countertop but lower like the ones in haircut places, and Hop Pop let me curl around his feet bc he knew I needed it after my anxiety attack and the stress of meeting new people(let alone those of my own species), and he talked pleasantries & politics with Grimes & Sasha & Marcy while I snuggled in my blanket & soft pj pants under the counter. My sister & brother (Polly & Sprig) were v supportive abt my anxiety, as much as Hop Pop was, even if they didn't quite understand it as much.

Yeah, I might have some!

I already mentioned Amphibia Neapolitan Flavor so many times that'd most would mistaken me for a broken record, but to say it again(and prove that I am a broken record asququq):

Amphibia Neapolitan Flavor

...is an au I'm in the mist of writing where the Neo Trio goes to Amphibia in the Calamity trios place. Phoenica is in Wartwood, Trixie is in Toad Tower, and Molly is in Newtopia. A lot or things will be different since not only is the Neo trio's relationship is fundamentally different from the Calamity trio's relationship, but the characters are all different from each other. Phoenica would mostly likely struggle in different areas compared to Anne and vice versa. And the same would be true for Trixie & Sasha, and Molly & Marcy. Overall, it's something I'm really excited to rewrite it since I made a lot of mistakes with the old fic!

Swap Au

I also made an old post about a swap of Phoenica and Trixie, but I don't remember when I made it. I might do a redo of that au, but essentially, Trixie had a family legacy of Vigilantes that kept the streets of Sweet Jazz City save, and Phoenica’s family focused more on the dark arts of magic.

Kingdom Hearts au

This wasn't long. I only got as far as the concept idea before scrapping it due to me realizing that it would be too many crossovers for me to enjoy writing. The gist was that the Neo Trio got keyblades, and the darkness took over the epithet world.

That's about as much as I could think of on the spot lol

Concept: Reverse Hemitphibia Au where rather then colliding with the Calamity trio sending the Hermits to Amphibia with them, the collision drags the Calamity Trio (and the box) to the next Hermitcraft world.

The Guardian is panicking big time because it doesn’t know how to get things back on track, and might never get to retire.

The Core and Andrias never get the Calamity box, and just have to cope with never bringing back the Newtopia golden age of the past.

And who knows what’s happening with the trio themselves.

When I first started thinking about the then insane idea of a Hermitcraft-Amphibia crossover AU, the thought of flipping which half served what role (destination-wise) did cross my mind. I settled on what we have now, but the idea of flipping the script's still interesting.

So in a hypothetical Reverse!Hermitphibia AU, the world of Amphibia sees life go on as normal. Uninterrupted by any outside force. Andrias & the Core wait in Newtopia for a prophecy that isn't coming, Grime continues putting the fear into his soldiers at South Tower, & Sprig & Polly grow up & play in Wartwood.

Nothing changes, for better or worse.

The Calamity Trio are having a bad time, however. Stranded in a world even more hostile to the uninitiated than Amphibia - especially when you only have one life - all three girls are separated from each other in far flung parts of the world.

Marcy's freaking out. This is not the world she was imagining, & the horror & guilt of what she's just done begin to set in even as - elsewhere in the world - Anne desperately opens & closes the box to try & reactivate it, while Sasha has an angry anxiety moment of her own.

And the Guardian has their head in their paws, as eons of patient waiting just went down the drain.

The Hermits, meanwhile, are trying to start a season as normal whilst simultaneously investigating whatever the hell that energy blast that just nearly totalled the Hermithius was.

They're more cut off from the wider multiverse without the ship, after all.

And once they discover they have three more mouths to feed, that's also going to make getting their new friends home very difficult without a reference for where Earth is.

Because Joe Hills might be from Earth, but that doesn't mean he remembers where it is. :P

Hi just realized i never explained the turtlesonas in amphibia au!! Basically, like it sounds, (post-shredder/main series finale) me & atlas(morningstarships)'s turtlesona & oc (fran(mine) & tito & vincent(his)) plus leo encountered the calamity box on a mission, opened it, and got transported to amphibia like the canon calamity trio! Fran is assigned heart & goes to wartwood, vincent is assigned strength & goes to toad tower, and leo & tito are assigned wit and end up in newtopia(they don't trust king andreas a single bit but they're playing as if they do)! In the turtlesonas in amphibia au, this is the first time tito & the others encounter andreas & the core, and the turtles take the time & place of the calamity trio, instead of tito's normal backstory where he meets them post-defeat-by-canon-calamity-trio.

as for the rest (admittedly i havent thought about this au in a while) i wasnt really planning on including actual fairy tail characters i was just going to put amphibia characters in that universe but those are some fun ideas for an au that uses both casts!

in mine Anne joins a guild with the other characters from wartwood, Sasha joins a dark guild led by Grime, and marcy works for the magic council~ (which andrias is part of. two guesses as to how that ends up going)

i dont have much i came up with it during a brief period of time where my old fairy tail obsession came back in full force and i didnt really keep working on it once i moved on from that </3

Thinking more about sashannarcy soulmates AU and I wonder if we could imagine a situation in which the three Stones can only be properly used by three soulmates due to their special bond. It would explain why the power of the Stones was absorbed by the calamity trio when they first uses the box, something that doesn't happen with most users. Maybe that's another reason why Aldrich wanted Andrias to break it off with his friends - his two soulmates. He didn't want them absorbing the powers of the Stones.

But now 1000 years have passed, and a small, adorable human girl shows up in his throne room and the Core can feel the power of one of the Stones coming from her. She says she arrived with two friends, and Andrias immediately knows what happened.

The Core wants to kill her. The last remnants of Andrias' mortality tug at his heart - she's just a little girl. They can spare her. He has a better idea - reunite her with her soulmates, use their powers for the good of the kingdom, to open portals and travel to other worlds. Maybe there aren't any temples or rituals to charge the Stones. Their power is now forever lodged in each of these girls, but it can only be fully accessed if they are in perfect harmony with themselves, each other, and Amphibia.

Anyway, everything is set in motion as soon as Anne arrives to Newtopia, and Andrias' whole plan is playing matchmaker to these two girls. It sounds funny but what he does is encourage Marcy's worst impulses: her dishonesty and possesiveness. He tells her that everything depends on her friendship with these two girls (though he doesn't tell her they're her soulmates), and encourages her to not let Anne return to Wartwood. First big change. Plan is backfiring FAST because now Anne is sad and thinking about how much she'd rather be with the Plantars than with her soulmate who's right there. This isn't what Andrias envisioned. Neither did he expect Anne to tell her Sasha was her soulmate. He was hoping none of them knew, but the Plantars told Anne everything about soulmates (and Grime told Sasha lol). Things are getting out of hands. Marcy feels her friend slipping away from her faster than ever. Meanwhile Sasha is in hard denial of Anne being her soulmate. Anne is sad and confused about Sasha. Marcy feels left behind, not knowing she too is their soulmate. The Core orders Andrias to kill Anne and Marcy if the plan doesn't suceed. Marcy is a little bit in love with Anne, but now she thinks Anne belongs to another.

If HopPop sacrificed his last avocado in Escape to Amphibia, how was he able to have the avocado farm in the Amphibian time skip?

(The Amphibian time skip couldn’t have been ten years. Polly is a child frog while Maddie’s sister triplets only have their legs. Polly was 5 and Sprig was 10 y/o at the beginning of the series.)

I don’t draw a lot but trying to get into it, just thought this would be funny and explain the shows unanswered continuity.

The idea started with Sprig and Anne being pen pals instead of Teri gifting HopPop some continuity puzzle piece.
