This is so freaking cool! Twelve year old me adored Tintin and Snowy and this is just so adorable ❤️❤️❤️

I recently taken an interest in Tintin (being French, I surprisingly didn't grow up with those stories) and the similarities would not stop piling up ! A young redhead, throwing himself into danger and always being hit on the head; and his little fearless white companion who is always saving his best friend butt... let's say I immediately took a liking to our boy reporter who is just... Cal if he was Belgian.

I liked the challenge of recreating Hergé's style !

"Don't encourage them BeeDee ! We shouldn't be doing this !"

Or : A drinking contest happens between Cal, Merrin and Bode. Cal wins because Bracca made him immune to homemade and suspicious drinks.

I bet Cal would be a great teacher.

As a youngling, he's surrounded by thing belonging to teachers and mentors and masters of their craft. People who know how to teach, how to approach different styles, who practice understanding and patience.

And then Cal learns through these echoes, learns quickly and was probably considered a prodigy at least. But he's also kind and generous, and he would've turned around and taught others as well.

From anyone else, it probably would've come off condescending or something, but Cal's just so earnest, who can say no? Especially when they really are struggling and Cal knows the best way to explain it.
