In my personal/original worldbuild concept ("Delta Caeli"), one character is Drazen-47X, an android made from advance technology.

He's one of the 5 main characters of "Caelum City Blues", the neo-noir, heavily 80's/synthwave inspired concept. You'll be meeting the other 4-or perhaps meeting again, if you've been following before 2020- in the months to come as they're all getting redesigns.

One part of Drazen-47X's character is that when he goes offline, he "dreams" in a digital landscape that is basically self-contained and his only companion is a fox inspired "Familiar", essentially an avatar with programming based on his creator.

There's any number of ways this could be interpreted, but the real meaning behind it is my own and not for others to know at this time. Besides, I like art where you can form your own story and while these characters are mine and I'm very controlling over them being used by others, I think it'd be interesting to see how others perceive this.

Anyhow, looking forward to finally getting back to the Delta Caeli concepts in the coming year. Ideas are finally coming together and I think I've got a good, first standalone story for "Caelum City Blues" planned out. I hope you enjoy these characters -Drazen-47X included- as much as I do.

OOC: Hi! Rogue here from @rogueartlad . Welcome to Caelis' ask/roleplay blog! Who is Caelis? Caelis is a he/they, mid-twenties in age. He's a transmasc Expendable OC that seems to be very hyper-aware of the circumstances around him. He is autistic, but in the monotone, verbal encyclopedia kind of way, so times where he should be asking a question tonally sound like a statement (as shown above).

What I will happily do!:

My biomancer psyker Rogue Trader, Elena von Valancius. For Owlcat Games' Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader CRPG

Formerly an Inquisition acolyte, she started out in Ordo Hereticus as a sanctioned psyker, until her master was killed in a joint mission with another Inquisitor, and he took her into his retinue in Ordo Malleus.

However, as years went by, she got in trouble with her master and he wanted to be rid of her in a... subtler manner. Coincidentally, Theodora laid her claim on her, and so Elena was shipped off to the Rogue Trader's retinue.

And now here she is, a Rogue Trader herself, free to chart her own path instead of getting thrown around from place to place.

Still. Seems she can't escape the Inquisition anyway, for fate brought her to meet Heinrix van Calox, an Ordo Xenos Interrogator.

(She jokes it's like she's collecting all three major ordos)

writing updates & the future of Et Auream

Hello friends! So, this decision has been weighing on my mind ever since I started writing Et Auream (it’s my literal baby) when I first embarked on the process of writing it, it started with inspo from gladiator 2

I started writing it back in July (the same day the trailer came out) having no idea just how deeply invested I would become in the story. It was going to be an x reader oneshot and then the story decided to shift gears and quite literally started to write itself

I strayed far from the canon universe to the point where the material I have been writing is from my own imagination. Geta, Caracalla, and Acacius have been OC’s in my head for months ;-;

As of recently, I have finished the process of giving them entirely new names to match the personalities, lore, backstories, etc that I have given them

Geta is now : Proculus Servius Gaius

Caracalla is now : Lucius Servius Caelius (Caeli is his nickname)

Acacius is now : Marcus Valerius Aelius

Aurelia, Laveda and the rest of the original characters already in the story will be staying as is

and with this change, I am no longer writing this story as fanfiction. I am fully embarking on turning this into my first book, and I plan (hope) to have the first draft completed by the end of the year before starting the revision process and the road to getting published 🤞🏻

This means that I will not be updating the masterlist with new chapters, but I will keep the current chapters up until I have the first draft completed.

This also means that for the indefinite future, I will not be writing fanfiction. (This could of course change, but this story is my passion project and I am pouring my blood sweat and tears into it)

However, I still plan on sharing my writing journey with you all, and I am starting a writing IG page to officially kick off this new era for me 🥹

Your endless support has inspired me so much as a person and aspiring writer, and I genuinely cannot thank you all enough.
