hey! there is a collection of the comics coming out around august (?) i think? i live in NZ and that was the date we got, but it's probably sooner for america. as for whether or not the furiosa issue is worth it: there isn't a whole bunch of information in it that we don't already know. i think they're saving the really good stuff for future movies?? fingers crossed. the art is nice and there's some cool stuff w the wives but if you want to get it, def. look up the trigger warnings beforehand

from what i've seen online, the interesting things are just the interactions with her and the wives :3 the art style seems a little strange to me, but i still quite like it. As for your movies theory - that is probably the case (and i am not complaining in any way because more furiosa = my life complete)

Nights like this were one in a million, you know when the air is crisp that you swear you could taste it? These were days that Furiosa she wished she had her own car, so she could fly down the road with her music blasting and all the windows rolled down— she’d have to wait for that though. Actually that was the reason she was even outside, she had been babysitting  a couple of foster kids down the street to get cash for her car fund. Joe, the girls’ father always wanted to go out with all his weird car club friends on thursdays, usually Furiosa would refuse to do anything for the creepy old man, but he paid well and she liked the girls enough that she took the job They lived only a few houses away from her own, so it only took her a few minutes to get in front of her dark home. She stopped and took a breather, it was nice just to take some time for yourself. Looking up above at the black, but twinkling sky— it almost seemed like the stars were trying to talk to each other the way that they slightly flashed. Just as she was fully zoned out onto the sky there was a very awkward sounding cough that bounced off the houses, “What the hell—���Furiosa tried to follow the sound to find the source of the noise , finally after turning almost 180 degrees she looked over at the house across the street she finally saw it. The new neighbor kid was on his roof, “god what was his name again?” she thought to herself. She knew she shared 3rd period autoshop with him so she should know it, but the bastard never talked. “Matthew? no. Micheal? no. Mac? close.”  She crossed her arms and looked directly towards him— the metal of her left arm cold against the right and spoke loudly. “What are you doing?” Honestly, she’d be shocked if he would even answer her, most of the time he even ignored the teachers trying to get him to answer questions in class. Waiting for a response  she tapped her foot aggressively, she really hated being ignored when she was talking to someone. Her mom always told her that she would be in the military so she could boss people around all day. “Are you always so rude? Didn’t your mom ever tell you it was impolite to ignore people” The boy stopped looking up at the sky and looked right at her with his dark blue eyes and  just blinked at her, he was definitely listening to her. Though instead of answering her, he just stretched more out onto his roof. “Fine”  Furiosa had no time for fools, not tonight not after taking care of five girls. Walking towards her front door of her house, she dug through her back pocket to find her key and just as she was about to put it into the door— someone yelled from across the street in a deep voice. “My names Max.”
