The interactions of these two was so perfect.

The Divide between critters attacking Percy for not being willing to risk bringing Delilah back, and the critters being absolutely understanding Percy’s actions and defending him is actually fascinating to me.

Now I’m mostly on Percy’s side. Of course I want Laudna back, of course I resonate with the Bell’s Hells, and understand why they’re willing to risk it, they weren’t there, they didn’t suffer from Delilah like he did. They could never understand. Funnily enough they only one who could IS Laudna.

But it’s very interesting that people who haven’t watched campaign 1, don’t really see Percy as a PC, to them he’s fully Matt’s npc, which must really change the experience. When a noble npc tell’s the hero’s “I won’t let you do this thing, it’s too dangerous” in DnD they’re really just an obstacle, not a real character, now of course he is a very real complicated character, but new fans are viewing this story, kinda the same way the Bell’s Hells, they know Vox Machina are legends sure, but they might not know why.

Now sure I am annoyed at some of the vitriolic anti Percy takes, but I also completely understand both sides her, even if I do lean towards one more than the other.
