Could you imagine bidding your girlfriend, Nina, goodbye after she spent the whole evening at your place? You whine and beg her to stay longer, clinging onto her, but she rolls her eyes playfully and insists she has to go.

She gives you a loving parting kiss on your lips, then plants even more– on your nose, cheeks, and finally your forehead– before she reluctantly pulls away. Any more, she jests, and she won’t be able to leave.

"You know I hate leaving you like this," she laughs softly. "But don't worry, I'll make up for today once my exams are over. Okay?"

She gives you one last final kiss before finally leaving, waving at you as she walks down the street.

You sigh and close the door, already missing her.

You really love Nina, but sometimes it feels like she doesn’t have much time for you. You understand she has her exams, a part-time job, and aikido training, which doesn’t really leave much left for you. Still, you can’t help but feel a bit greedy, wishing she’d at least dedicate a part of her to you. You're her girlfriend, after all.

You sigh one last time. No use.

She’s already spread too thin, and you know if you tell her your concern, she’ll worry and try to double her efforts to make time for you. No way in hell are you going to give her any more stress in her life. Although today was just half a day together, you're grateful. Even if it left you unbelievably craving, aching for more…

You hear a soft knock on your door. Is it Nina? Did she forget something? Oh, your prayers have been answered. You just wanted one more second with her. You open the door immediately, an excited smile on your face.

"What did you forget this ti-"

"Missing me already?"

You freeze, standing dumbfounded. In front of you is not, in fact, your girlfriend, but a tall, blonde man smiling softly at you.

"I'm… I'm sorry. I don't— Do I know you?" you ask, trying to stay cool. He must have the wrong house to ask something like that so proudly. You’ve never met him before.

His smile doesn’t falter at your question. He continues looking at you, his eye contact unwavering.

"You do." he answers, calmly leaving no explanation, still smiling softly.

You’re getting nervous. He keeps staring and smiling at you. You try to get a good look at him. Is he a mutual friend? An old classmate? A person you pissed off once? You’re at a blank. Though… the more you look at him, the more you notice how similar he looks to… to your… what the hell.

Why does he... look... a bit like Nina?

No. You chalk it off. He just has blonde hair and blue eyes, and the fact you’re missing your girlfriend terribly doesn’t help. But even then, their facial features strike a matching resemblance. It’s a bit uncanny.

You let out a nervous laugh and smile sheepishly at him. "Look, I’m really racking my brain here. Have we met before? I’m really sorry if I can’t recall…"

You give him his cue to introduce himself, to remind you who he is, to be offended at you forgetting—anything! He’s just standing there, staring down with that same smile. Your eyes dart around, seeing if this is a prank. A small uneasy pit forms in your stomach.

A beat passes by. You still wait for his reply.

You can't help but start feeling creeped out. Stupid. Always ask who’s there before opening the door. Just ask him what he wants with you and get it out of the way.

"Hey uh, I-"

He kisses you, his lips softly crashing against yours, hands gently cradling the back of your neck. He’s not forceful, but his hold is steady. You squirm and try to break free, but he quickly shushes you and holds you closer, entrapping your lips in another long kiss.

You think of quickly think of biting him, but he gently pulls away right before you can go through with the thought. His hands come up to tenderly cup your face, his thumb softly brushing against your cheek as he looks at you.

Your vision begins to blur from your tears, your legs wobbling from the fear of the situation.

"I don't know you!" you practically scream out. Your desperation kicks in as you continue to panic. "P-Please. please. please. I'm sorry. I don't know you. I don't… I don't… please… I-."

You cry softly, pleading with him. He just continues cradling your face in his hands, looking at you with that godawful eerie smile. He leans back in, slowly murmuring,

"Shh…"

He continues peppering kisses all over your wet cheeks. "You do know me," he whispers, kissing your nose. "And you know I need to make it up to you," he says, kissing your forehead. He hums softly and leaves another final chaste kiss on your lips.

"And you know I hate leaving you like this."

I just think nina would be soooooo complicit in johan's yandere tendencies with his darling. She'd be so worried, but at the same time, this is the closest she ever got of her brother finally making a friend, much less having a freaking crush on someone, after pleading and forcing him to try to form connections with people and to do something for himself in his life. So not only is she letting it slide, but she's lowkey encouraging it as well, softly making you turn a blind eye as she comforts you, and tries to suggest you just brush off his behaviour for now... he just cares about you— a lot! And that's really rare for him! So... how about... how about you don't worry about that for now, and just... just try to understand that he really likes you, okay? She's sure his talks of making you move in with him so early is just... the kind of cute boyfriend talk when they're enamored? It's just his way of showing how much he wants you around... there, there, he really just likes you.

I love the dichotomy of nina and johan in a yandere context being nina is normal but slowly slips into insanity with her darling, while johan is insane but slowly slips into normalcy with his darling.

I had this dream so i HAVE to ask - how would johan and anna react to their darling getting severely hurt by someone? Like, maybe it was a hostage situation and their darling were trying to protect someone and they ended up getting shot or smth. I feel like Nina would be more sadder about it as compared to Anna. I also feel like Johan would become more paranoid than he would let on.

I feel like all of them would do the sensible thing and lock you up somewhere safe and sound after you survive that (Nina pretends it's not locking you up but it might as well be lol). Absolutely NO way are they going to risk something like that again happening.

Nina would cry. Hard. Memories of her parent's death that night resurging in her mind, as she tries her best to stop the blood loss with shaky hands. Endless word of assurances and comfort spilling out of her mouth, that it's almost as if she's convincing herself more than you that "everthing will be okay! you're fine, you're fine, you're fine, you'll live—".

Kind of different, but I think Johan would actually be frozen for a while. Having that same wide-eyed, foggy look in his eyes as he did on that night in Rurenheim, when he thought his whole world would finally come to an end. His mind comes at a blank, quiet for once, as he looks at your injured body. (He'll snap out of it after a few seconds, and instantly go to work with skillfully assessing your injury and patching you up, but it's all robotic and blank. Cold. He's shutting down all his emotions right now in favor of stopping your bleeding.) He let's whoever harmed you get away for now, as he knows he can track them down later and deliver an even worse fate.

And Anna, is obviously just seeing red. Nothing but a sharp ringing in her ears as she locks target on whoever or whatever harmed you as she goes absolutely berserk. I honestly think her first priority is eliminating the threat than taking you to safety oops. She won't let you bleed out to death though don't worry lol. It's just that to her, smashing the skull of the person holding the gun into itty bitty bloody bits and pieces would take less than 10 seconds in that moment. Then she'll get back to you. She just needs to release something, feed that monster inside of her, before she can go back and touch her precious darling.

You do something that looks cute to them and Johan wants to bite your cheek like its mochi and shake you around like a chew toy while Nina wants to hug you like the softest plush toy on earth and squeeze you to death like a boa constrictor. Your post regarding Johan and Anna being a yandere for one darling intrigued me so much and I just wanna know what you think would happen if, say, their darling prefers one twin over the other? For instance, the darling prefers Anna over Johan, and vice versa. I personally think that if the darling prefers Anna, then Johan would sorta emulate himself to be a bit more like his twin sister (and I imagine him having an identity crisis low-key 😭) — what are your thots?

my friend do you WANT him to break down??? His whole source of trauma is having their mother pick between them 😭😭😭. This would absolutely not end well for all parties involved. But I do understand the angst factor. Let's say darling prefers women, he may just have to pull the wig out (jk jk). If this was Pre-Rurenheim, he'd have no problems playing dress up for you. He doesn't have his own identity so he doesn't really care. You like Nina? Well you're just in luck now you'll have another her. They're the same person anyways. But if this was post monster I don't think he can subject himself to that same trauma again of living his whole life as his sister's alternate/being just one half of a person. If you prefer Johan on the other hand, I think Nina would be more understanding about it. Even if she was also yandere in this scenario. She thinks her brother deserves nicer things now (you). She doesn't mind taking a back seat for now since she was able to live a good life in fairness to him. She was actually able to have a nice foster family and some friends. So she'll support it. Anna is if nina was the "monster" instead of johan ), would feel slightly upset and jealous and might even find you picking between them redundant. She's practically the same as Johan or even better, what does he have that she doesn't? This is dumb. Either don't pick between them or pick her if you had to. Their mother obviously picked her to give away, they picked her to prod and experiment on, so why can't you pick her this time? That's it. They don't even bother to hide their freakishness (well maybe at the start, just to lure you in. They have to be on their best behaviour after all). But other than that, no chance at things being normal. Zero. You have two traumatized blonde twins touch starved for affection and connection and they will get exactly that from you.
