So I recently discussed with a moot (hey @sillyliterature thank you so much for being interested!) that I am in fact published and am writing a YA fantasy series!
Say hello to "The Coward's Emblem".
A single lie can destroy an entire Empire… The Mekshi Empire is teetering on the edge of civil war, and the legendary Shield, the protector of the Empire, is missing. The Lances of the Sovereign, a squad of elite knights, are desperately scouring the land while a shadow, the Merciless, thought to be gone forever, is rising. A coward might be the only one who can save them all.
Below are minor spoilers in the form of commissioned art of the characters by Sabri (@itsadragon_art on instagram) + the book 1 dragons by @ketolic !
#the coward's emblem#A.D. Guier#it me!#kitty writes a thing#my publisher is a middle aged white man and tr@nsphobic adjacent#so he made me change emperor to sovereign when he found out the emperor was a woman#like REALLY ugh#Patricia C Wrede was out there calling m/f dragons Kings back in the 90s or 80s or whenever#Kate Elliott had female Princes in her Crown of Stars books#in the early aughts#but NOOOO gotta use emperor/empress eff you i refused sovereign it is

ive been saying this for Literally Years Now but the most direct medical comparison to covid probably is never going to be HIV on any metric, overall it's probably the SARS outbreak of the early aughts (related viruses, similar transmission, what appear thus far to be similar rates/experiences of post-viral conditions and disability) and politically i do understand why people reach for HIV but like you really need to understand that our current situation is similar to how EVERY SINGLE pandemic / epidemic / outbreak has 'ended' in recent / capitalist history. these are political designations, that tend to get made once the ruling class considers itself safe, and it is typical that workers, global southerners, racialised people, &c continue to bear the brunt of diseases that would be treatable or preventable, were imperial countries and their ruling classes to care. we should be furious every time this happens and in every case where it is still happening: flu, TB, malaria, ebola, zika, plague, on and on, even the smallpox eradication campaign championed as a definitive triumph for public health occurred unevenly and the US and europe allowed the disease to continue to exact its most brutal toll on people in the Horn of Africa and southeast Asia until it was finally eradicated. covid is not unique in its medical OR political properties or ramifications, if you think it is you sorely need to do some more reading and this is why it is both unhelpful and yes, often homophobic to see how often 'covid communicators' jump straight to making alarmist and poorly contextualised comparisons to HIV, Specifically.

Some Things You Aught to Know (this also the index)
“At the end of it all, what’s left of you?”
The long reaching ramifications of an alien invasion… it all starts here. After the Kraang were defeated, the boys have taken a back step from their usual activities to heal. Which has been surprisingly easy due to sudden lack of activity from their rogue gallery. At least, until Donnie disappears.
Hi! Welcome to the side blog that hosts my comic, Residuum. This little brain baby of mine was conceived in a dream my subconscious cooked up one night and then refused to leave me in the morning! Yes, yes, very interesting, but why is that relevant? Well, my darling reader, dreams can get really, really fucked up. As suuuch, this comic gets kinda, okay a lot, fucked up ( ̄▽ ̄|||)
So, this handy dandy pinned post is both the content/trigger warnings and where to find parts. The warnings do contain some spoilers for future installments, so I’ve put them under the read more. I do stress again that this comic is fucked, but to those who don’t read the warnings:
Probably don't read this if you're squeamish. It will contain a lot of, uh. Gore. Seriously. I'm not kidding around here.
This comic will not contain anything sexual, consensual or not. Nothing implied, either. (I can’t believe I have to say this, but no incest, and yes, I am kink-shaming you.)

Parts that have gore or the more extreme tw's will be red. Parts with mild-ish tw's will be yellow. Censored versions of extreme gore will be blue.

"Wherefore dost thou of the uncouth race of Men endure to upbraid a king of the Eldalië? Lo! in Palisor my life began years uncounted before the first of Men awoke. Get thee gone, O Úrin..."
'Turambar and the Foalóke' in The Book of Lost Tales Part II. Written c. 1919.
"How do ye of uncouth race dare to demand aught of me, Elu Thingol, Lord of Beleriand, whose life began by the waters of Cuiviénen years uncounted ere the fathers of the stunted people awoke?"
'Of the Ruin of Doriath', The Silmarillion, ed. Christopher Tolkien. Published 1977.
So I think something that gets left out of the Thingol discourse (note: no Thingol bashing on this post please), is the textual history of the chapter 'Of the Ruin of Doriath'. Most of the published Silmarillion very closely follows drafts written by Tolkien. Not so this chapter, which Tolkien only ever got to in his first draft of the Silmarillion in the historical summary tradition as we know and love it, i.e., the 1930 Qenta Noldorinwa, where he wrote:
Thingol ... scanted his promised reward for their labour; and bitter words grew between them, and there was battle in Thingol's halls.
(Consider that the Thingol of the Narn i hin Hurin, often cited as a gentler and more complex character, was written in the 1950s.)
The only other time he touched it in more expansive prose format was in the late 1910s, when Doriath was Artanor and Thingol was Tinwelint and the Silmarils barely mattered. He again mentions these events in brief annalistic form in the Tales of Years, most lately revised in the 1950s.
502 The Nauglamir is wrought of the treasure of Glaurung, and the Silmaril is hung thereon. Thingol quarrels with the Dwarves who had wrought for him the necklace.
That's it. That's all Christopher Tolkien and Guy Gavriel Kay (hired to help write this gap in the narrative) had to work with. So they took Tolkien's words where they could get them, and here you can see they took a speech Tinwelint (later Thingol, but not the same character as he developed) spoke to Úrin (later Húrin, but also not the same character) and adapted it to another context, i.e., Thingol's conflict with the Dwarves over the Nauglamir.
In The War of the Jewels (HoMe 11), Christopher writes a revealing commentary on how he put together this chapter, and expresses regrets on how it was done. He admits, "How [my father] would have treated Thingol's behaviour towards the Dwarves is impossible to say."
Now, I really dislike the 'Christopher did him dirty' line of thinking. Working through HoMe, it's obvious Christopher did the best, most faithful-to-JRRT job anyone could have done putting his father's drafts into a cohesive narrative. But, in this case, Christopher (and Guy Kay) did tinker with Thingol's character in a way that, I think, he regretted, or at least questioned. And, unfortunately, the way Thingol speaks to the Dwarves here -- a speech Tolkien did not write -- has become a huge sticking point in fandom conversations.
Yes, it's canon that Naugrim means "stunted folk" in Sindarin. There's definitely tension and mutual disdain between Elves and Dwarves, no question about it. Does Thingol call the Dwarves an "uncouth race" and claim superiority as a lord of Elves in the published Silmarillion? Yes, he does. And so yes, it's canon and it's part of Thingol's character. But it's not the only part of Thingol's character, which is the point I always see the (shall we say) appreciators of nuance returning to.
But I've wanted to make this post about the textual history of what I would consider Thingol's worst moment for a while, since I've not seen it included in the conversation before.
"Canon" in Tolkien's legendarium is hard to define, as we know. (Personally, that's precisely what makes it so creatively inspiring to me.) But I think there are some places where it's harder to define than others, and this episode with Thingol and the Dwarves is one of them.
Take it as you will.
#thingol#meta#can't believe I'm entering this discourse but it finally Got To Me#there's more to this textual history than I've summarised here but I am trying my best not to write thousands of words

Everything in place to stop her undoing the lobotomy is crucial. She knows she could and would undo it without explicit instructions not to.
And its because she has to have everything under control and planned for. How do you dictate things after you as you percieve yourself to be is dead? Letters and conditions.
harrow's letter to herself in htn is so funny it's like. hey bitch. you fucked up. no i can't tell you why but you're a shit lyctor because of it and you're just gonna have to deal with that cus i'm pissed at you. if you die you're a fucking flop. also you're in debt to ianthe and she can make you do whatever she wants
#I didn't really understand the end of HtN for a long time#i didnt realise she chose to leave her body and wander off just in case gideon was in there just in case she killed her again by returning#if aught but death part me and thee..#ridiculous ludicrous feral loving move#hey girl if youre there keep my body. ill take my chances just you have to live.#ridiculous! loving! mindblowing! the sacrifice#c we don't talk about that sacrifice huh#harrow chooses probable death so that Gideon if shes there can keep her body#theyve sacrificed their lives for each other#theyre kind of equal now

i'm finally watching AA! this is definitely one of the strongest interpretations of sima yi in media. he's played with this genuine charm and warmth without being naive and i really look forward to seeing where they take his character. the show takes a lot of notes from the 2010 version, like how Team Wei is portrayed in a much more heroic light. cao cao's actor was actually 2010 liu bei, and you can see that he's having way more fun in this role, he's got this maverick energy and he takes delight in being the smartest guy in the room. this against-type casting lends a lot of depth to his portrayal. he's still got some of that liu bei-nevolance with his big, puppy eyes, but is able to turn vicious in a heartbeat. fans of 2010 cao cao will really get a kick out of it. cao pi's character arc is set up really well, and I like the subtle ways he keeps getting shafted by his father for cao zhi and zhang. my only criticism so far is that it is once again, the overall tone of the show is too "modern" for my liking, from the overly-tailored clothes, to the gratuitous fight scenes. modern chinese tv is still kind of stuck in the early aughts in terms of taste and sensibility. like they don't trust the audience to sit through a suspenseful drama without loud! background! music! and slowmo wire-work kung fu.
i actually consider the strongest action scene to be the opening sequence where hua tuo is about to perform a c-section on zhang chunhua. the way he slowly and methodically washes his hands, boils his surgical instruments, ties a robe around his neck and arms to keep his hands steady, and pretends to ask chunhua a question to make sure she's really unconscious. these details ground the show in reality and raises the stakes. this woman is about to undergo extremely dangerous, painful, and primitive surgery, one which she may not survive. this suspenseful tone is immediately broken 2 eps later, when she and her handmaid do horseback parkour, apropos to nothing. it shows a lack of trust in the audience to understand that she is a Strong Female Character without an overwrought action sequence. this was already done in ep 1 and 2 (and better too!) we already saw the way she showed bravery by demanding the doctor perform surgery on her to save her child, directly overriding her husband's wishes. and later on, when she weaponises her perceived weakness as a woman (and social propriety) to force Cao Cao's men to stop searching her house (while she's still recovering from childbirth!). she is using her strength and intelligence within the confines of the role society has put her in! it shows her struggle and what she's up against!

Ramble Thoughts on 3D ft. Jack Harlow:
- Feels like 3D is something that would have come out in 2006? I’m not mad about it but it does feel like Gen Z is taking this whole Y2K revival thing too seriously 🥹 like y’all have some big Air Force Ones to fill and I’d rather see a fresher take but okay
- Speaking of Nelly people are acting like they’ve never heard a rapper objectify a woman before and it’s kind of odd. I think maybe people haven’t listened to Jack Harlow before if they’re surprised by the contents of his verse. I’m not saying we can’t ask for more or expect more but the shock I’m seeing is kind of strange.
- JK does not sound that good...? To me. It seems like he’s maybe in too high of a register? Or maybe it’s too many minor chords for me. Not that he can’t hit the notes effortlessly but it’s just not a pleasant register to me? This is a song I can see getting stuck in my head in an annoying way and not a “omg I have to listen to it again turn it on” way, which is a bummer.
- I love the dancing, and the fire hydrant bit at the end was very cool visually.
- This whole thing reminds me strongly of some of Pharrell’s more controversial hits in the mid-aughts, especially Blurred Lines. Except… Blurred Lines was a better song 😬😬😬 if you’re gonna talk about women like they’re pleasure dolls in 2023, at least make sure your song is unusually good. Just my humble opinion.
- I think objectification is an interesting topic and we could go on about it, but some of the shocked and horrified responses I’m seeing on Twitter are from NSFW fan fiction writers (of which I am one full transparency) and artists and there is a blatant hypocrisy in that that I find somewhat amusing. Like. Very few of us are truly innocent of ever sexually objectifying someone else and let’s just be honest about that. Not to mention the objectification of Jung Kook’s every body part that has been happening recently, even up to as recently as the promotions for this specific song. Like… hang on a minute. We can all collectively drool over and go feral for and zoom in on his shirtless chest and talk about his waist and his nipples and his belly button but… god forbid he shares a song with someone doing the same thing? Idk maybe I’m oversimplifying.
- The “girl”!! Oh, people are gonna be mad. Why can’t he always only ever sing his songs to a faceless genderless “you”?! Because A) he is not writing these songs and requesting a gender change to a song that someone else wrote would be a declaration. B) I’ve said it before but it’s entirely possible he is into women. Again, he didn’t write this one but in a recent performance he did intentionally swap out a pronoun that he could have skipped and so let’s not make too much of it but let’s also not ignore him over and over again for the sake of our own beliefs. Not with bi visibility day still in the rear view 🥲 C) His behavior toward and about Jimin has not changed so I have not changed my attitude toward their relationship. Simple as that. D) he did not write this song. If he is queer he is closeted. Chill out.
- I want more for him, I’ll just say it! Lol. I think he has so much musical potential and right now it feels like we’re just waiting for him to actually come into it. But I do love the choreography, the boy band vibes, the confidence. I think I’m appreciating Left and Right more and more as time goes on; that seemed like a really excellent creative fit and the concept was so fun. But maybe I’m projecting my wishes onto him. It’s his career, not mine 😅 he is his own person, he doesn’t owe me a damn thing.
That’s all for now, just sort of felt like word vomiting this morning instead of doing anything productive. Would love to hear others’ thoughts!

Thoughts On . . . Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake
Frogwares’ remake of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is one of the most unsung game releases of 2023. So let’s take a quick look at the new features of the title and how they compare with the original.
If you’re unaware, Frogwares is a studio based in Ukraine, a country currently repelling a Russian invasion. The devs have repeatedly addressed their struggles and yet they launched it anyway. For that reason, I feel it would be inappropriate to score The Awakened. I make an effort in all my reviews to respect the developers who’ve put in the work to make the game I’m playing, even if I’m not a fan of the game itself. But making a game during an actual and presently-occurring war is another matter entirely.
That being said, I think The Awakened Remake merits examination, even if I don’t want to review it. If nothing else, the game is a fascinating glimpse into the evolving story of point-and-click adventure games and their place in the greater gaming landscape. It’s also instructive to compare the two different Holmeses, to see how the character changes with several years of pop culture reshaping.
Second Awakening
The Awakened Remake feels like the culmination of Frogwares’ attempts to evolve its signature adventure game series from a post-Syberia form to a post-Telltale form. In the Dark Ages (a.k.a. the early aughts), adventure games adhered almost religiously to the Grim Fandango style: Third-person clicking navigation with viewpoints fixed in what I call “security camera” position. The Awakened (the original, that is), began the transition away from that to first-person exploration -- the Myst style, if you will.
The series continued to experiment with different stories and gameplay types. It vacillated between first- and third-person, tested new detection mechanics, and even dipped into true crime with the audacious Jack the Ripper recreation. The series rebooted with The Devil’s Daughter (though it retained at least a few story details unique to the previous game series). I’m not sure whether Chapter One and The Awakened Remake are set in the same continuity, though the retention of the new voice cast would suggest so.
Now here we are in 2023, and what does a Sherlock Holmes adventure game look like? It’s a third-person exploration title with an over-the-shoulder camera and the environments are a series of contained maps. In other words, it looks like several of Telltale’s later titles, or Dontnod’s. That’s not a bad thing . . . it’s just an observation of how the medium has evolved and Frogwares’ Holmes along with it.
The Awakened remake is also a microcosm of Sherlock Holmes’ . . . let us say “changeable” position in pop culture. The Holmes of the original Awakened was more of a Jeremy Brett-style depiction, hewing close to the source material’s dry wit and intense focus. The Holmes of the remake, on the other hand is -- being blunt -- young, hot, and mentally unwell. It’s not really to my taste, I’m not gonna lie. It’s clear the impetus for this comes from BBC Sherlock, which I despise. But the remake Holmes has an earnest gumption I’ve never seen in the character before -- it’s a choice, and not one I dislike.
Lovecraft’s Walking Tour
One of the benefits of remaking Awakened is that Frogwares has a chance to elevate a game that, through a combination of underpowered graphics and muddy art design, never had a chance to serve Lovecraftian horror as it’s meant to be served. And for the most part, they did -- there’s a creeping sense of wrongness on the periphery of most scenes, at least when you play as Holmes, a feeling that something isn’t quite right.
That’s the essence of Lovecraftian horror, in my opinion, this sense that something’s wrong, but there’s no way for your tiny human brain to understand what. One of the reasons I enjoy both iterations of this game is because Sherlock Holmes is the type of person who would absolutely refuse to accept there’s something his brain can’t comprehend. That makes him uniquely vulnerable to being overwhelmed by that sensation. Watson’s POV is more grounded and reliable by comparison.
The locations are mostly similar to what they were in the original, though the asylum section is much shorter and cuts out a subplot foreshadowing the arrival of one Moriarty. New Orleans serves a nice slice of Southern Gothic horror to balance out the traditional European Gothic elsewhere in the game. It’s a bit of a shame that Frogware’s didn’t correct one particular oversight: For a game based on Lovecraft’s work, we never go to New England, Lovecraft Country itself.
As far as gameplay goes, I only have one major complaint: This game desperately needs an auto-run option. Or at the very least, the sprint button needs to be sticky -- meaning, you press it once and the characters run until you press it again. Having to hold down a button to get them to get a jog on feels archaic, especially since the environments are much bigger than in your average adventure game.
Our next case, Watson?
Point-and-click adventure games will never be to everyone’s taste, no matter how much a developer might wish to court a bigger audience. Aiming for the Walking Dead/Life is Strange is a wise choice of direction for the Frogwares’ series if it’s going to capture any mainstream appeal while retaining its identity. That is to say: This is a good remake and I like where Frogwares is going with its new series.
Assuming the new series will follow the old, we’re looking at a remake of Sherlock Holmes vs Arsene Lupin next. Sherlock Holmes, tormented lad that he is in the new series, definitely deserves a lighthearted chase with a gentleman thief, so I’m looking forward to what Frogwares does next. My best wishes to them!

And what’s fascinating is I’ve literally seen the people posting these takes talk about how much they help the queer community and know about queer history and love and support queer people and even re blog posts like this:
And I am wondering where the disconnect is and why it’s is happening.
My list of examples isn’t even all-encompassing of the queerphobic takes I’ve run across in the last 5 months; it is just what I could remember.
I’d personally like to know what fandom they’re in because every third day since May of this year, I have been subjected to takes that include statements like:
Tommy will cheat on Buck because gay men cheat.
Tommy will give Buck an STI because gay men sleep around.
I hope Tommy dies of AIDS.
Tommy is homophobic for dating Buck instead of a “femme twink bottom.”
If I were Buck, I’d have killed Tommy for flirting with me.
If you like Buck x Tommy, you’re just a fetishizer. Even if you’re a queer man. I said what I said.
We should stone Tommy.
M/M romantic relationships have always centered women.
Temu is a predator for dating a grown man who’s younger then him.
Jakey only wants Buck for his body and youth because gay men are shallow and superficial.
Which crime makes you want to execute Tteokbokki the most? Cutting a date short or calling a man by his given name?
Gay men are never actually gay; they just think they are. They actually like women, but don’t realize it or are lying.
Men like T*mmy should be beheaded for flirting with men the way he has with Buck.
Tommy is such a typical gay man, forcing himself on Buck in his loft and turning him gay.
Gay men are all liars, so I don’t expect Buck to put up with Tommy long.
Stereotypes about gay men obvi come from somewhere, and that’s real life! I have good cause to think Tommy will be bad for Buck as a gay man!
Buck’s not actually into men; Tommy is your typical man and pressured/coerced Buck into a relationship.
Tommy and Buck dating makes light of women’s relationship trauma.
Someone needs to tell Buck that he’s actually in love with his best friend!
The gayest thing to ever happen to Buck isn’t kissing a man or the implication he’s had sex with that man, but the one time he told his best friend he’d beat him up.
Buck x Tommy is problematic because they’re both men.
Tommy is a pedo because queer people prey on children and a teen in the show called him “cool” off-screen.
Any number of takes calling fans of 911’s recent decision to expand queer representation by including a same-sex male couple “bummies” or “bummers” << UK queer people have told y’all to knock it off. It’s a slur.
Also any number of takes saying that Buck & Tommy’s relationship feels “off-putting,” “creepy,” “gross,” “weird,” “nauseating,” or “obscene”
If you flirt with men like Tommy, you’re a predator. Simple.
Tommy is a freak and a fetishizer.
Relationships are only meaningful and worthwhile if it’s a slow burn and you more friends for the better part of a decade first.
I think this queer guy is secretly in love with and pining for his (straight) best friend.
Queer guys and straight guys can’t be friends; the attraction gets in the way.
Buck is going to cheat on Tommy because Tommy’s old and has a low libido and Buck’s a bisexual slut.
Tommy is grooming Buck!
So, yeah, I’d like to know what fandom you’re in where people are being homophobic to real queer people for *not* liking Tommy, because all I’ve seen is people literally sending death threats and CSAM fics to queer people—often specifically targeting queer men—who support 911’s newest canon queer couple. It has been MONTHS of targeted harassment. Months. I’d like to know WHO these people are who are harassing queer people in the name of defending a “homophobic queer character,” and then I’d like to know how that character is homophobic.
Please—I beg—tell me how Tommy is a “homophobic” gay man. How is he anything like the self-proclaimed “homophobic gay men” of buddieblr? Do tell. Without relying on any tropes about gay men being predatory. Because the only reason y’all think he is and can and would “groom” or “prey upon” a grown man is based in very popular irl queerphobic stereotypes about queer men. Y’all have spent the last five months essentially saying: “I want to subject this fictional character to violence because of real life false conceptions about men like him.”
#I was bussed to a MS + HS that sat just 45 mins outside the city limits of Chicago (without traffic) in rural middle America#and there a kid told me that he ‘couldn’t wait’ for the day the military marched into town to ‘round up’ and ‘execute’ all of the…#‘commies like [me].’ Yet… I have been exposed to more queerphobic rhetoric by the 911 fandom on Tumblr.com#in five months than I was in 7 years of middle + high school.#that was in the late ‘aughts to early-early teens (I was done with college before the teens ended)#kids would literally come up to you and call you a faggot to your face then#even ‘gay’ was an insult#CHILDREN casually debated whether some people are deserving of legal rights b/c of who they loved#shit— gay marriage wasn’t until I was in college!#and yet even out in the middle of a corn field we had a GSA#I remember changing a girl’s whole world view when I asked her: ‘When did you decide to be straight?’#and ‘What’s it to you what other people do with their lives? You don’t have to get gay married.’

oh shit its lancer fic time
i recently got into a lancer game and i got to play Allison! she's going to a feudal world to help liberate it from the feudal slave-lords. so here's a fic about Allison being hungover from Gravity and changing a nun's brain chemistry.
Downwell, the angel looked sick. She felt it. Even the spin-grav of the Oleander was better than the sludgelike atmosphere of Kalacharr. (It was all the Gravity, sucking her down out of a Union contract) [She didn't resent the work, she resented the iron core.] Allison was sick the way oldtypes got sick on their first visit upwell. Her stomach churned, a little liquid furnace chewing through the borgration she'd had when she was still in atmosphere. (It was mostly sugars, a little protein, everything a brain needed.) [Only what Allison's brain needed. Her body didn't really need food.] She felt herself totter, and slump against the wall.Of stone, cold against Her body, sturdy against the shoulder. She started thinking about stone. She'd worked with asteroids before. (Worked with lots of asteroids.) [In 'em, out of 'em, around 'em, through 'em.] But you didn't make stuff outta that kinda stone, right? You just cracked it open. Allison's head made of sort of 'clonk' sound against it as she heaved. Kept it down though. (Couldn't disappoint Her.)
That's when she heard someone trying to get her attention. Snapped her eyes right open, not that they could see. Her arms instinctively pushed off against the wall. It didn't do anything. She didn't apply enough force, so Gravity held her in place. It made her braincase spin, frustration clicking on her tongue. (There's still someone here, isn't there?) [Push a little harder, get yourself upright.] So she got upright, and stepped towards the presence of the other- up on her toe tips. The other was a priest? She was dressed in those oldtype clothes that the not-knights wore, fingers stained with ink, asking questions as Allison tilted her head and let the C/C roll through its languagesofts for Kalacharr.
“Are thou unwell, visitor?” The C/C added its own context- formal structure, passive grammar, feminine tone, all repeated back by the voice produced on a chip in the little computer. Allison answered back, swinging her limbs against the sluggish atmo. “How’dya stand it, inkgirl? All this?”She could feel the Gravity work on her, motions snapping from point to point. (No flow, too much force.) The C/C chugged through the translation of Ketherese Basic to whatever dialect CO had given her the l-soft for. Questioning tone, up then down, a click of the tongue timed with a flick of the wrist. The angel body, the doll body, it goes through the motions of Allison’s whims. (Straining against the Gravity, even as she steps forward.) [The C/C groans and rattles off the question as best in can manage.] The nun (Allison decided that was the closest thing.) [But she wasn’t like the nuns who came to class, and taught the kids about Silence.] looked confused at the voices coming from Allison’s lips and the little computer strapped to the front of Allison’s flight suit.
“Visitor,” the nun speaks again, the lightness of her voice transposed to the creaking and groaning of the C/C’s drive-and-chip voice, “thou seem strikingly unwell. Is there aught this one can provide to soothe you?” Allison cocked Her head, flexed her legs a little, bobbing and stepping (Stomach still uneasy, churning away as it should, she just felt it more) [Easy enough to ignore, to try and repress the sensation with curiosity.], around to look at the nun better, the black clothes, the little religious symbol hanging from cord on her neck, the rough ribbon of blue tied round the right arm. “Oh yeah, you all signed up to the Union Blues, a symbol you make a sign for, yeah? Do you have someway back upwell? Some hydration, if you can manage that?” The C/C churns, little silicon brain stressing under the processing of colating context needed for the nun. It gave up, giving a grand and bland apology in the unaccented machine-voice of Galcomm. It followed up with Allison's question about a drink. The nun looked a little stunned, eyes locked on Allison's passive bangs. "This one can offer thee a drink from my waterskin?" The C/C keeps croaking out her words, harsh compared to the soft-voiced priestess to some god and its Gravity. So what else is there to do? (Nothing, really. Might as well roll with it.) [Something else starts spinning, pulling, reminding her of the Gravity.] It feels like its coming out of the stones. The weight of it all.
"Yeah sure, inkgirl, I'll take a swig- clean water for a clean body, they always say. How ya get hands on it, gotta little recycler?" Allison held out her hand, a motion meant to be smooth, a roll of the shoulder into extending the limb. The air resists the way Allison moves Her, the body responding to the thought, the desire to motion. But Allison's own memories of how a body work, they aren't adjusted for the weight of atmosphere. "I don't mind drinking from the hydroponic, but you know how it goes, right inkgirl? Gotta take what you can get." The translator keeps rolling through the cant spilling from Allison's lips. It really does its best, trying to filter down into something for the nun to work with. Either way the nun puts a thing into Allison's hand. A bit of leather, filled with water, a cap of brass. (Obvious enough how to drink it, pull the cap and swig.) [But there's something wrong with the feeling of leather in Her hands.] "The water is fresh, o vistor. This one would not dare gift one from heaven anything impure." That's a thought, that's a word from the nun that Allison can orbit around, play with. "Heaven, inkgirl? I suppose that's closer than most, huh?" Fiddle with the cap, pop it, take a swig. Cold and burning water, tasting of minerals and flow. Water with taste, water not made from condensation catchers, graywater recycling, hydroponic runoff. Something new. Ain't that wonderful?
Allison passed back the waterskin (She realized as the nun's hand touched hers, that the bag was truly made of skin, not a synthetic material.) [It made her stomach churn again, body going limp even as it stood.] and then tried to get through it. CO wants her to be nice, look good for the locals, basic Gray thoughts. She could feel the warning for the retching before she stumbled, falling from the tips of her toes and back against one of the walls. (Stone is so cold, cold as the steel of a station, so maybe these paleo-oldtypes will get why she feels sick?) There's another kind of clonk of Her skull bouncing against the stone. Its nothing She can't handle. She's built pretty, not tough, but there's so little force in Allison's nauseous sway. [The nun makes a sound, the C/C mostly registers it as "Alarm!" for the benefit of Allison alone.] Allison stops. She tries to stop, at least. She tries to push weightless against the smothering in her bones. Like being hit with a weighted blanket, from two stories up, forever. Allison couldn't get out of Her body, couldn't reach beyond Gravity. (Couldn't even try with Chronos if she wanted- not when with the weight.) [The nun is still talking? She's crouching down, looking at Allison.]
She manages to haul Her back up to standing, hands resting on the wall behind, elbows bent, fingers splayed. "In heaven, I'm weightless. In heaven I can dance, inkgirl. Its too damn heavy down here. Don't know how you stand it." She murmurs under her breath. The nun rises up with her, trying to keep eye level. (Allison you cannot let Her vomit. You cannot vomit in front of a girl.) [The nun is holding out her hand, her eyes look very concerned.] She looks really concerned. The C/C's algorithmic voice is clearer now, but Allison still can't stand the weight. "Are thou a celestial maiden? Does the air of the fundament so upset thine humours?" Allison sort of rolls through the question, taking the nun's offered hand. "What trash are you working in, sister inkgirl? I'm tryin to handle the Gravity. I ain't been downwell since… since… fuck." The C/C tries its best, mostly managing an apology in the local language, followed by an admonishment for Allison in GalComm. "…unbefitting a representative of Union in a first contact scenario." The first part is lost to a unwell pulse, another coiling of the stomach-thing. (The nun's hand is very soft against Hers.) [She pulls Allison up, up, back to Her feet.] "Inkgirl, I was born in a starfield, and reborn on a nearlight bolt. Not used to planetary excursions." The C/C grinds through its translation again, happy to go along to get along like the Gray thing it was. The nun still looks confused, holding Allison's hand. Something flutters in Her chest, and Allison bites her own cheek to focus, chewing the synthflesh gently.
"Why don't you tell me, inkgirl. What do you think I am?" The C/C finish up, and the question hangs there. Weightless. (Allison could almost purr at the sensation, the Moment. To have something fly, against all this weight.) [The nun just looked on, as the C/C grumbled out the question.]
Then the nun answered, a long string of words the C/C did its best with. "This one is to believe thou art an angel/celestial maiden/offworlder(?), come clad in the body of a doll, so thine celestial form/subjectivity(?) might do the holy work/operational goals." She lifted Allison's hands then, helping her stand (She looked down upon Allison, happiness in her eyes as she enjoyed her own answer.) [Allison then too, felt weightless.] "You are come from the Firmament/Heaven/Space to deliver us from the evils of the Iron Kingdom." She kissed Allison's hand, gentle and soft, and Allison, she went spinning. She managed to stay upright, looking where the nuns lips had touched the back of her hand. (An act of grace, a blessing, yeah?) [This didn't seem like the kind of stuff you were supposed to do on first contact.] The nun just smiles. Pleased as could be. Enjoying what for her must have been a real trip. Allison pulled her hand away, reeling back and up onto her toes. Her stomach could fucking calm itself, at least long enough. "Need an angel, inkgirl? I can be an angel, ain't hard to be something like that when you step like a razor." Lean forward, keep the weight of her body on the tips of her toes, left leg extend back for balance. Hold out your hand, cock your head just right, hold out your hand back to her (That's how we do it, Allison, how we make Her look good) [The nun reaches out, no longer hesitant, joyous to go with the orbit Allison offers.] Be weightless. Be beautiful. "I'll burn plenty for you, sister ink, null sweat, null problems I can do you kindness." The C/C rolls through its translation, voice shifting as Allison twists Her to hit the marks. Pull back, out of the nun's hand, step and twirl just right, flutter away down the hall. (Stagger just a little bit, a hitch in your step, Allison.) [Still stuck under Gravity, can't fucking escape it down here.] But there's probably something better to do with her time than be sick, or talk to oldtypes through a computer. Oughta see her Loverboy, check that the reprint held up. Best to move away, find a new Moment to have. (At least that's the thoughts that consume Allison's waking parts, the moving parts.) [The other parts, like us, we keep spinning along.] She tried not to think about the feeling of lips against Her hand. The same kind of kiss Allison gave Her in the morning, ritual self-love unexpectedly returned. And from a holy woman paleoo-oldtype. (The feeling of skin-on-synth, the radiant warmth of blood against perfectly regulated protienweaves.) [The glitter in her eyes as she looked at Her, and saw Allison.]

Hello! I saw you mention Childe in labyrinth warriors (hope that’s the right name) when talking about the 4.6 appearance, can I ask you about your thoughts on him there? I didn’t get to play that event- so what I know about it is spotty at best. Just that it’s in Inazuma, had Xinyan I think? And that Childe was there. And the little paper dude. I’m genuinely curious about what insights you gained from the event into his character- and I’d love to hear you talk about Childe more.
(can you believe. when i say. now that im finishing this up. that it got out of hand anon??? uhhhhhhhhhhhh. i mean. at this point this should be expected)
hi!!!! sorry this took a bit, ive been somewhat sick all week and also just now absorbed by the nuzlocke im doing but Anyway. am here now thank you sm for the ask and enabling childe thoughts!!!!!
. readmore bc this Actually got just. unbearably long otherwise JIWDJDWJKDJKWWJDK 😭😭😭😭
so the outline is basically as u said, but like. to summarize it w some particular details mentioned since they Do matter (sorry it got giga fucking long bc i think the full context is helpful for discussing childes parts too lmao). but here goes:
so a mysterious domain has appeared out of thin air on narukami island with monsters spewing out from within into the countryside. now this is an Issue (TM) bc timeline-wise this is still v much the immediate aftermath of the inazuma AQ and the civil war - the nation & esp the tenryo commission rly isnt in ideal shape resource and manpower wise to deal w another crisis like this and it has sara rightfully tense after the initial waves of the monsters were finally forced back. she kinda cant afford to send her men to scout inside the domain (it also kinda. opens and closes and reopens at random which is another issue for potential scouts) but if nothing is done to stop the monsters she must commit to a full on assault to destroy the domain to remove the threat & shes more or less on a timer with that. making it quite the precarious situation for her politically too and not just security wise. (keep this in mind)
how we end up being asked to investigate the place has to do w the. im ngl p convoluted xinyan b plot basically she was invited to a music festival as a performer but it was cancelled so now she lacks the travel permits she needs and getting new ones is Not fast without some inside help. we agree to look for sara so she could argue xinyans case, run into her dilemma w the domain and she agrees to expedit the process if we investigate the place in her forces' stead. (xinyan the civilian tags along for some reason too)
first time u go in, u find the paper dude (kind of an enchanted paper familiar of sorts) aka shiki taishou outside who has lost his memory yet is undoubtedly connected to the domain which is obviously a bit suspicious given the whole. monster spewing into the neighborhood deal. but idk she passes xinyans music vibe check so she argues we should help him recover his memories and in turn discover the truth of the domain along the way.
once we get inside the domain we obviously run into mr. worldwide himself including but not limited to a closeup of his crotch during his introduction for some reason. yeah its been nearly 3 years these things you cant unsee. that and the sending us sausage in his bday mail. like bruh
now childes (as he eventually divulges) in inazuma to look for traces of scara who ran off w the gnosis and happened to stumble into this strange domain with weird vibes. he thought it might be something relevant and waltzed in, proceeded to get locked inside (as the domain shifted) and beat the shit out of all the monsters there all the while having the time of his life bc hes simply built different. bc turns out the place is basically just a full-on sparring simulator for warriors that seems to be running by itself w no one overseeing it ever since the domain resurfaced cue the "pratice targets" aka monsters running wild
dont wanna recap the entire thing in detail but basically. firstly childe kinda improvs another new identity as an adventurer noticing xinyans liyuen attire bc Osial Incident and picking up the awkward energy we have at the realization of. this might be messy if we tell her. and xinyan buys it and nicknames him "red" w/e. so thats why the harbinger thing doesnt become a bigger conflict
he then informs us that all the monsters within the domain turn into torn paper charms when destroyed and that there are "replicas" of shiki taishou strewn about the domain that should restore his power and hopefully memories over time.
so we end up going thru the place helping shiki taishou gather his power and uncover the nature of the place. he kind of has an identity crisis happening bc all the monsters the place is generating seem to imply he was created for some nefarious purpose as a weapon of some sorts (childe says some Very Interesting Things in response as an attempt at pep talk. will get to it).
but TLDR what we do discover is actually that the shikigami/paper magic and the domains functions were basically a system invented after the domains creator harunosuke studied similar adeptal techniques in liyue in order to create the shikigami as these battle partners for samurai fighting against monsters from the cataclysm. these paper dolls could then record and replicate the monsters it and its partner fought in order to train others inside the domain so that inazumas protectors would always be ready to face such a threat if it ever came to be. shiki taishou was created as the "overseer" of this domain and its functions as a training facicility. by regaining his memories and finding clarity in his purpose shiki taishou gains control over the place again and is able to shut down its rogue functions so that it no longer poses a threat. he then promises to improve upon its workings by taking it to dormancy again. sara is relieved that the crisis could be averted without costing her manpower or further resources she doesnt have. yippee
So. yeah that took way too long mb jdwhjwdjdwadwaj but. Childe.
so there are a particular standouts in here in my opinion.
for one that is less like. a characterization aspect but more of a "gotcha" confirmation thats very nice to have is that he explicitly confirms that wherever in the abyss he spent those 3 months at 14, it DID involve places tied to the irminsul and its roots.
fissures between great tree roots u say?????? Inch resting ajax. tell me more abt the trees king.
also this monologue is literally so fucking sexy in general i love his single-minded pursuit of something as like. quintessentially simple as just. Improvement. but bc he has literally 0 fucking chill in his boundless hunger for that one singular ambition it alone is enough to disrupt the gravity of the world around him....... (but we will get to that)
Anyway. another Very good fucking moment from him character-wise is during the 2nd act. where weve spoken w sara about the tense situation after the 1st day of investigation ended w all of us minus childe (who got "trapped" inside the same way a child gets "trapped" inside a free-for-all candy store with all amenities included. he had a blast) getting thrown out and the domain rearranging itself again. and like we go back in once the entrance opens and are even more eager and restless to start figuring things out bc again. sara is on a timer.
and then .
guys im pretty sure theres a twitch emote for this???? something starting with C and ending with AUGHT?
LMAOOOOOO
he reads the shit out of us trying to all "subtly" push for the investigation to proceed so the crisis we are actually tasked to investigate can be solved. like this is literally just Actual 5d chess situational awareness and picking up cues from people around him and honing onto exactly whats stirring up in the undercurrent from childe. basically. he just lays onto us like. ah right. this is probably a big problem for that tenryo commission right? such a problem that theyd even ask an outsider to cover their duties... when thatd never happen during regular times right? a conundrum that could get even more problematic if theres a harbinger publicly around... right? oh my bad my bad haha just thinking out loud bestie lets get back to investigating shall we? hahaha
he is such a smart fucking Bastard oh my godddddd bro is out there smelling the traces of societal unrest and any and all weaknesses in a given governing structure like hes a shark tasting like 0,00000001% blood in the water . professional & supernaturally efficient problem causer everyone. this is what he was hired for . i love him
like. hes SMART guys. and hoyo Knows how to work his intelligence into the writing too its soooo scrumptious man .
and like bro hes being such a fucking menace in here too bc. he couldve kept this observation to himself too. but nooooo he just had to shove it in ur face that we are Not being as slick w keeping him in the dark as we would like to think💀💀 smug ass.
it makes me think abt how many things he actually Notices among the harbingers and all their power plays and schemes among one another but that childe simply keeps to himself bc he has nothing to gain from disproving the assumption of himself as this. gullible and simple-minded loyal warrior harbinger and the person-shaped time bomb we toss at wherever the flames of discord need some help sparking alight. after all, we saw this in arles quest too - how not only did he use our pathetic distraction attempts as an opportunity to fish relevant information on both arlecchino and pulcinella for himself (which i already commented on) but also. the fact that he Very clearly noticed our attempt at distracting her and intentionally helped us out without even knowing anything abt the matter at hand. to the point where even arle makes that Highly pointed comment about it and all but spells out that childe was assisting us on purpose the entire time.
like he is just. incredibly perceptive and so fucking intelligent like especially back in 2.2 where even Bigger of a portion of the fandom (if thats even possible) than today just thought of him as this. stupid fucking baby infant meow meow idiot brainwashed by the tsaritsa and completely owned by zhongli and signora XDDDDDD . seeing this unfold made me so fucking happy abt the way like. yeah HOYO knows what his character is all abt. the fandom can ruin him all the want but the games story isnt going to bend to their will.
Speaking of Which.
The weapon thing.
so as ive already alluded to prior . the entirety of labyrinth warriors despite it highlighting childes intelligence, attitude, priorities and ambitions in a way thats like. genuinely so fucking good and comes off as natural with no forced sounding exposition or backstory dump . mostly got a fan reception more in the way of . waa waa my baby boy is depressed with sigma PTSD 3.0 with DLC because calling yourself a weapon is self dehumanization and it signals he is suicidal and has no self worth 🥺🥺🥺🥺 he got TRAPPED in the EVIL DOMAIN consisting EXCLUSIVELY of all his favorite activities nonstop he must be feeling so scared i need to hug him my babygirl!!!!!!!!!11!1!1
when its like. ah yes. i have never heard of a motif ever before.
bc like as much as i do genuinely consider it something that more or less can be taken at face value as an Aspect of who childe is (not necessarily the whole of it, just another mask true to a part of his self) . it should still be acknowledge that part of the reason why his dialogue (and the event in general) fixates on the notion of being a "weapon" has to do with shiki taishous character arc.
because thats what he is. and is trying to discover what kind of purpose a discarded (bc harunosuke left the domain abandoned at the end) weapon and tool like himself can even have anymore. and childes lines taking that repeated emphasis of. whats so bad about being a WeaponTM (& expanding on what that means for Him) specifically . are as much about himself as they are just an attempt to communicate his worldview to shiki taishou as a way of pushing him towards solving this identity crisis he has . that paper boy literally Needs to solve in order for the domain to stop malfunctioning.
and like. okay even if we just look at it w/o paper boy. so say childe considers himself a weapon . but what does that mean to him?
[incoming top 5 dialogue lines that genuinely fucking challenge my sexuality this is so fucking hot. no one talk to me]
"Only those that wish for an end will find one."????????
"My limits vanish behind the horizon with every step I take"??????
FUCK OFF OH MY GODDDD
like people think of childe as this fatalistic if not actively suicidal then at least like passively reckless and uncaring towards his own wellbeing blood knight w low self esteem barreling towards his death and here he is. using his own fucking words. saying that the mere CONCEPT of an END. is not in his fucking VOCABULARY. because it does not serve his ambition to let such confusions ever obstruct his sights.
people think his purpose and ambition is soooo tied to his family tied to the tsaritsa that if those are ever taken away he will just freefall into the depths of directionless confusion and depression and whatever. when.
Here he is. giving a fucking pep talk to a DISCARDED WEAPON THAT HAS LOST HIS PURPOSE. EXCEPT HE KINDA JUST SAYS ITS A SKILL ISSUE TO EVEN NEED TO CONSIDER AN END TO YOUR PATH (hes silly like that). AS AN UNSTOPPABLE FORCE OF NATURE. A WEAPON THAT CUTS ANYTHING.
oh hey thats funny now where have i heard that before. bonjour my baguettes any fontainian cults or god kings out there interested in the world and fate altering power of unstoppable weapons that can cut into anything even ego and destiny itself and whatever that may mean?????? O____o
i swear to fucking god if the entire time this entire weapon allegory from labyrinth warriors was all about all cleverly n loosely associating him with themes relating to descenders and wills that rival the world all the way back in 2.2. and yet on release all people wanted was to weep for how sad it was he thought himself a weapon. man why is it always like this . i weep for THAT.
like. idk i dont have anything poetic to say abt it other than childes drive as an individual is just fucking breathtaking to me??? its literally Scary how utterly consumed he is by that ambition yet at the same theres this . crystalline clarity he has towards viewing it and himself ?? this weird ass self awareness that coexists with the all-consuming pursuit and ambition of it all??? this isnt sad this is both ridiculously attractive AND batshit insane like dudeeee . and like . the way he talks about it too like this is just a matter of fact everyday thing to him 💀💀 bc thats his abyss shrimp color vision this is how he rolls . its nothing grandiose its just how he is . this is normal to him its unbearable i hate him
like somewhat unrelated here (sorry) but sometimes i see ppl go against the possibility of childe having sth to do w the 3rd descender (which like yes is a crack theory for now and its not sth i can fully align myself with either as of rn Due To Those Thematic Clashes it just lives rent free Because of how conflictingly insane it is while also having some Strangely compelling evidence in its favor) or even just. Any higher predestined significance assigned to him in the grand scheme of things with the sole argument of like . but then everything about Him is worthless bc it wasnt His ambition and His drive to overthrow the world he wasnt Just A Guy (and. sigh. as the op. of that ancient thing. stop taking that old ass hastily typed post too far and too literally thx. its abt the vibe the attitude the subversion. having a destined purpose if the story handles it well does not conflict w being the quintessential just a guy thanks xx). he was just special all along so it all means Nothing and its like. dude. he told a recently-amnesiac paper boy having an identity crisis that its a fucking skill issue to ever falter in the face of some greater purpose haunting in your past or defining your origins. that a True weapon cuts himself free of even that without even a sliver of hesitation . ppl think that if indeed some soul of the 3rd descender is resurrected in story and idk tries taking over his body with past lives and memories or whatever. you think he isnt ripping the essence and existence of that poor fucking dude apart and devouring him alive into the crushing depths of the black hole of an unquechable ambition that beats a steady pulse at His core just to reclaim HIS place as the ultimate weapon to cut through everything???????
aww thats so cute. you guys think even the hypothetical of theories akin to these being legit on some level is automatically going to ruin his arc and character bc hes gonna be taking it lying down!!!!! you think hes going to look at a Grand destiny Assigned to him by someone Outside and Above and not spit in its face!!!
just like his narwhal looked at the destined cosmic end of All life to fall to ruin and immediately devoted its entire existence to denying the universe that very outcome isnt that curious why are they the sam---------------SORRY SORRY where was i at
like. i see how it is for yall. well. myself on the other hand. i have some fucking faith in him lmao
partially . indeed Because. i read the goddamn text of labyrinth warriors. where they let him Talk about what these things mean to him. and how he Truly isnt about to stop. Ever. hes not looking for an end and if presented with one he sure isnt about to respect it. hes just. built different its absolutely amazing
and yeah my bad i got. sidetracked very badly there. you asked me abt labyrinth warriors but bc its childe this is just what tends to happen like my brain fucking spirals. but like . no im not saying that the weapon theme being such a prevalent aspect in the story is like 100% a descender and sword of narzissenkreuz thematic parallel and intentional reference i just think its Quite interesting in hindsight . that This is the angle they drilled in on .
anyway hopefully this at least had Something to illustrate abt why i love labyrinth warriors for how it serves to establish how much of a madman childe ajax tartaglia my beloved truly is . and how to hoyo his outlook towards the world has very much been one of endless limitless hunger and never-sated ambition . and not whatever fanon wants to cook up. childes greatest enemy has always been stagnation and he has always looked towards the Future. of surpassing each and every limit and boundary on his path . like thats what makes him who he is.
also. last lil thing aka. Most Ignored Canon Line Spoken By This Man
which is a shame bc. its so fucking interesting??? i mean. i get that ppl dont know what to make of it bc everyones so fixated on picturing childe as this loyal puppy tsaritsa fanboy who couldnt even deign to imagine discarding allegiances to anyone yet here he is. saying exactly that.
like ive seen ppl be like oh hes trying to Convince himself of this!!!! hes putting up an act!!!!! and its like? no? i dont think this contradicts anything about his character. people just find it uncomfortable because it implies that the things he listed there are not something of any Inherent value to him. which adds up perfectly fine to me but what do i know.
like the way i have always seen this is that it really isnt. oh childe says he isnt actually a loyal person When it matters to him personally and isnt actually invested in fulfilling his duty (as of Right Now, mind you) which would yes seemingly contradict a lot of other things. but really its just that those concepts alone are void to him. you cant stop him from pursuing his ambition by saying its evil. if the tsaritsa ever truly loses his respect and leaves him completely disillusioned in the archon that once was a fellow honorable warrior in his eyes, the concept of "allegiance" will not be able to dissuade him from turning that burning ambition of toppling the heavens towards her throne too. personal respect maybe. a sense of honor. maybe even disdain so extreme that even investing that time into her now is a waste? sure. but like. you get what im trying at? he is way more ambivalent about these things than most people really Want him to be. bc they dont fulfill the hunger that burns at his core.
and it adds up. bc like. his ambition his drive towards battle and bettering himself and becoming a weapon completely unstoppable and irreplaceable that can conquer the world . is his north star. its the singularity that all else about him orbits around. of course silly little concepts like right and wrong will be secondary to that. we just really havent seen a moment where his ambition is in true conflict with the bonds and oaths he has sworn in his current life. but i have a feeling that if and when we do. this line will make a lot more sense lmao
anyway uhhhhhhh
yeah i liked labyrinth warriors!!! very underacknowledged and misrepresented event that had a ton of fun stuff abt childe. i am super normal about these hip and enjoyable aspects of his character as they are explored within this event as the length and contents of this post imply!!!!
omg anon i. really fucking hope u got at least Something u were looking for out of all this KWJKJKDWWJKDWJKDJKWDK i swearrr i just cannot. stop myself from completely fucking losing it on the asks of every innocent anon (and like non anon too why not) approaching my ask box 😭😭
but thank you again for sending this in!!!!!! have a nice day!!!! im very normal thanks for asking!!!!!
#Deep sigh. Yeah name a more iconic duo than me answering an ask and shit getting completely out of hand. ill wait#well maybe years down the line therell be enough of this bullshit from me that i can make a bingo card#'Jen Goes Insane About Childe Ajax Tartaglia And/Or Narwhal: Anon Was Innocent Edition'#it could be a wholesome group activity!#jdajklwdjwdjwdjkdjkwjkdjkdjkwjkdwjk#well this is . a something . im going to run away now#genshin#asks#childeposting
