Trinity paused when she heard the sound of the Goddesses voice. Well she still considered her a goddess. Turning where she stood in the garden, a large smile spread over her features in the late afternoon light. Putting the basket down from the garden she ran over so her friend and hugged her without hesitation.

"You found your way!" She couldn't be more happy about it either, her arms tightening before she released her just enough to look at her. "But are you alright? I hope you just came for fun and not for something serious."

really, cambrie couldn't stand this. the having to pretend, to smile and hold delia's hand in front of others, laugh at her stupid jokes and over all seem entirely enamored and in love. not when it was further from the truth. there was nothing fairytale or romantic about this arrangement, thanks to her parents and their incessant need to control her life and their image. delia was the perfect match on the outside - but behind closed doors was an entirely different story.

Looking up from her laptop, Aya recognized to which woman the voice belonged that had just addressed her out of nowhere. Gorgeous? The stranger knew that the term would apply to herself as well, right?

Still, the compliment visibly flattered her as she sat up and gave her full attention to the beauty before her.

"Yeah, looks like it, doesn't it?" With a smile on her lips and a nod towards her laptop, Aya answered her question. "I didn't know there were such friendly women working here. Thank you! But that wasn't a lie, was it? Most gorgeous woman?"

Beau still doesn't really know how to talk about this. It'd taken so much effort to even get to this point and now that they're here it feels vulnerable and awkward, but he couldn't keep up the way he'd been living. "Yeah..." his voice is quiet, but he clears his throat and speaks louder. "Yeah," he confirms with some sort of near confidence, putting slightly deeper voice he'd been trying on that makes him comfortable. His voice had never been particularly high, but this just feels better.

"I know I'm not..." He doesn't know how to finish that sentence. Isn't 'really' a man? Doesn't look like one? "But it feels better than... whatever I was doing before." They'd always thought the label woman didn't fit because they barely even felt like a person, but breaking down at the thought of having to continue to be a woman... they couldn't ignore it anymore. "I don't... wanna keep feeling that way."

Piper grunted, looking down. Considering it was only up until she was 9 years old and she had to dig back for that knowledge it was shocking that it had helped at all. But that wasn't their fault. That was on her baptist parents.

She shook her head though about Cassie. "I hate that I dont know more to help her." She admitted. "My father only had brothers and my great Aunt died young. I only made it because the old ladies passed down stories. But it seems like with each generation theres less and less of people that follow the folk lore." She sighed and leaned back. "Truthfully it makes me wonder if it even can be broken. But even if it can't be there has to be more to protect us then my shitty memory."

She nodded. "I'd be glad to. Though I dont know how right they are if they keep getting through. The ones in the basement are way more accurate because I could trace them before they washed away." She admitted.

She watched as Delia pulled the note book out of the bag, suddenly feeling underdressed, even though she had a pair of that bags matching shoes in her closet. She just hadn't had occasion to wear them in years. Reaching out she opened the note book to look at the symbols, slowly flipping through. She hated herself for not recognizing them. If it had just been her she would be able to deal with it. But she'd never thought she'd had a sister and it had been so long since Piper had seen them she had thought they might be in the clear.

"Probably a good idea. I can wait...I think." She admitted. "Until then, we should probably check out the basement and the house before it gets dark. Its not always worse. They have certain triggers. Its just way more ghosty and spooky to us at night. I dont particularly think ghosts care."

"I'm glad you had people who cared enough to help you, even if it went against your parents' wishes," Delia spoke with empathy in her voice. "It's unfortunate that your sister had such a close call, but it seems like you're aware of the potential dangers and you're taking the necessary precautions to keep her safe."

As Piper mentioned the presence of witch doctors and her openness to their practices, Delia nodded approvingly. She respected the diversity of spiritual beliefs and traditions, understanding that different paths held wisdom and power.

"Sigils, huh? I'd love to see what you've got," Delia said, a curious glint in her eyes. "I'm always fascinated by different forms of magical symbols and their significance. Feel free to show me tonight if you're comfortable with it. I might even have a few sigils of my own to share."

Delia reached into her fancy Dior bag and pulled out a small leather-bound notebook. She flipped through the pages, revealing an array of intricate sigils and symbols she had collected over the years. Each one had a story, a purpose, and a connection to different realms of existence.

"But before we dive in, let me get in touch with some of my contacts," Delia proposed, putting her notebook aside for the moment, but at Piper's reach if she wishes to flip through them and look. Maybe she might see something familiar? "I'll reach out to the occult practitioners and paranormal experts I know, and see if they can offer any insight to your family's situation. It might take a little time to gather their input, but I think we'll make progress together."
