There's something eerie about the way the girl looks at people; even through violet-tinted glasses shaped like stars, she has an unnervingly even gaze for a thirteen-year-old girl, and that's when the blue corneas aren't obscured by the whitish glow that exudes from them when she uses her power... But that look is fleeting, and, as if realizing she is definitely offputting sometimes, she puts on a soft smile, hands folding rather daintily at her front. "Good afternoon, Thomas. Aunt Wanda has told me about you... though I admit you are taller than I expected you to be. I suppose that should make sense, Grandfather is certainly quite tall."

Spending any extended time in her father's presence was often accompanied by something terrible -- some disaster, some status-quo-altering event in which somehow being in her mother's care was not an option. This, somehow, was not one of those times, and she didn't trust it at first. Puzzled over the why of it.

The only logical answer was that Aunt Wanda had told on her. Well, that was just perfect.

Blue eyes regarded him past shaded lenses; bright green this time, tinting her corneas to turquoise, with white plastic frames, looking an awful lot like a pair that belonged to Lorna were it not for the rhinestones which had been glued to the edges. "Is that so, Father?"

Yunjun looked wide-eyed at the smashed flower pot that now lay all over the floor. Not again. Hearing his sister call from the other room, he knew it wouldn't be long until she was in the room to check on him. He rushed to re-assemble the flower pot... or at least to grab all the pieces. But he had no time.

Remembering his powers, he gathered the earth into a small ball, held the pieces and whipped around just in time for his sister to walk through the door. "Nothing happened."

"I am glad we have some free time to hang out again," he spoke with a smile on his face as he looked at Luna. It had been awhile since both of them had hang out since their date. They had really talked and become very good friends. Alec had been busy the last few days, he had no social life and was glad he had sometime to catch up. "Okay, so I got you a coffee. Alec had gotten someone to watch Cyrus for the night and he had texted Luna back. The doctor had planned a wonderful night for the both of them. Alec was someone who loved making people smile, he loved making them blush and also loved giving them an amazing time. Luna was indeed beautiful and he knew that she deserve an amazing night especially after she was kind help him out. "Hello beautiful," he spoke with a charming voice and smile on his face as he looked at her. "You put the moon and the stars to shame truly," he added smiling extending his hand for her to take.

Alexis knew that this would probably not be the approach or idea that Luna had wanted. Alexis was more than okay with that. However when she told her to do whatever she wanted she let her shoulders drop a bit. Alexis knew she could be needy, and clingy. She had been told she was a lot, her blue eyes glanced swiftly at the other before tossing some of her dark hair over her shoulder. "I wasn't planning on it."

the reasonable part of luna should've understood to be grateful for the fact alexis was looking out for her. she'd been left to fend for herself her whole life and it was just a hard concept for her to wrap her head around. so, stupidly she did what she was best at — pushing people away. a huff slipped past her lips at alexis's words. "don't let me stop you from doing what you want."

it had been far too long... far too long. between training camps and proving herself as a worthy quidditch player for the holyhead harpies, days had descended into weeks and she’d forgotten to take a moment to just breathe. plus, she wasn’t the only one that was busy and as she made her way steadily up the hill toward the rather imposing home at its crest, she could see that in scattered materials and random objects in abundance. breathing out, she jogged up the last part of the hill and broke out in a big grin. “it’s a good job i don’t have heavy bags, isn’t it?!” she called out jokingly, spotting the kitchen window to be open. “what kind of reception is this?” @moonscenes​

Faye nodded as she listened to the other talk about their brother, laughing at the explanation. Based on the mud stains she'd walked into, it absolutely checked out. "I see." She smiled, her gaze moving to the door that must have led to the backroom. "So he doesn't get to see the patients in the intensive care unit."

"I thought the plant-lover might have picked something more adventurous." She winked. "But, I guess that's what makes you a plant-lover. I'll have to pick up a fern, then." Faye chuckled to herself. Catching the other woman's look, a smirk pulled at the corners of her lips. "You know when you're driving down the freeway with the roof down, and then you hit a tunnel... and the wind kind of hits you in the face?" Her tone conveyed what her words didn't. That she loved that feeling. "Our apartment is kind of like that sometimes."

Luna chuckled softly to herself, knowing full well it was, in fact, magic.

"Yes, don't get me wrong. He is very passionate and great with the plants, but sometimes he is like a bull in a china shop." She explained, laughing. "He mans the shop sometimes, but I have a room in the back for plants or flowers that need a little extra help or are just delicate, and I don't let him in that room unsupervised. One plant I was reviving got knocked off and smashed — and I suspect it may have been a Yunjun-related accident, so now we lock the door."

Luna smiled, nodding, as Faye wasn't the first to make such a statement. "Ferns are underrated for house plants. They look so nice in hanging baskets." She, herself, had some in her bedroom. The brunette found herself tilting her head slightly, a brow raised. "I don't know if I dare ask," Luna replied with a light laugh. "How high-speed are we talking? I mean, you can't go wrong with a cactus."
