Pitaya and Y/N adopting Snapdragon
Adopting a fire starter (Pitaya Dragon Cookie x Reader)

In all fairness, when you and Pitaya Dragon started your relationship, it was only a matter of time before you guys adopted Snapdragon Cookie
This for mostly because of two reasons: Pitaya already had a strong care for Snapdragon after the events in Dragon City and you in particular really loved the cute baby!!
Royal Margarine Cookie even made a bet that you and Pitaya would adopt Snapdragon the second you saw them: and he won that bet 😀
Royal Margarine: “Hey, Tarte Tatin Cookie, how much you wanna bet Y/N will adopt Snapdragon Cookie with Pitaya the moment they see each other?”
Tarte Tatin: “I don’t doubt they’ll look into being a parent for the little dragon, but that stuff takes time….I bet it’ll take a week.”
It did not take a week….it was virtually the minute you saw Pitaya holding Snapdragon-
Y/N: “Um, Pitaya? Who’s that Cookie nibbling your hair?”
Pitaya: “Oh, this little one? I met them in Dragon City, there name’sss Snapdragon Cookie!”
Y/N: “……they’re our child now-“
Pitaya: “I know, that wasss already decided when I met them!”
It really is amazing to be parents for Snapdragon, and boy do they love you!
They’re pretty much all over you and Pitaya every second, hugging you and lightly nibbling you at times
It’s also really great that Pitaya is the co-parent for Snapdragon because….you don’t know Dragontongue too well
Pitaya has taught you and continues to teach you their language, but it’s still a work.
You’re almost surprised how quickly Snapdragon is able to communicate perfectly with your Red Dragon spouse.
Although…it really just sounds like baby gibberish to you. Ah well, Pitaya translates for you at least.
Snapdragon: “Gooogie!!”
Y/N: “Was that Cookie? That was so cute!!”
Pitaya: “Hehehe! Try sssaying Y/N!!”
Snapdragon: “Coo…Y-Y/YN!!”
Y/N: “…AWWWW—!!”
One of the sweetest things Snapdragon does is try to demonstrate their Dragon abilities to you
You always applaud their efforts, which almost always go well
One time in their dragon form, they lifted you a few feet off the ground. Which is still incredible for the baby, even if they’re a dragon!
Sometimes, both Pitaya and Snapdragon play around in their dragon forms and put on little fire shows for you!
You did have to convince Pitaya to not do demonstrations in the house though…
Y/N: “Pitaya, how can I make it anymore clear that you should not!! Breathe fire and fly around!! Inside the house?!
Pitaya: “What? They’re just fun little ssshows!”
“Pwwease??”
Y/N: “….Snapdragon, if you promise to not do any fire demonstrations in or close by the house, I’ll treat you to your favorite ice cream.”
*Snapdragon paused….before nodding and agreeing with you*
Pitaya: *upset dergy growls*
All in all, you and Pitaya are fun and responsible parents for Snapdragon, and Snapdragon loves you both so so soo much. They wouldn’t trade either of you for the world.

౨ৎ.𖥔˚ 'the execution of justice' — cookie run: kingdom oneshot/drabble
— 𝜗𝜚 "You're in danger. But that's okay; you're grown up." or the title says it all, but if you will... our group of five heroes now turned nine with white lily cookie and the faeries encounter an unexpected predicament from the crack. now, what will they do when their impartiality is questioned after impartiality is quite literally taken away from them?
— this is the second part of 'masquerade of the impartial' 🫶🏻 full rq by @l1l-sprout, again, thank you for requesting !
— lots of genshin references (ex. dream realm = irminsul). see if u can catch them all. also i just wanted to put this in here, but Justice was mostly written with Sumeru in mind while I was mostly thinking of Fontaine, Navia and the Fontaine Archon Quest while writing Impartiality, and Nahida and the Sumeru Quest towards the end & very beginning.
— i'm sorry for how short this is, i don't know how to write dramatic scenes without undermining them a little, but i did what i could !

ᡣ𐭩 .𖥔˚ heads up ! — [Justice] is written to be a fortune teller of sorts (they make prophecies and can kinda see into the future) + has dream motifs.
— not proofread. incredibly sorry for any pronoun mishaps or whatevers. 🙇🏻♀️
You awoke in a small, but mystical realm. Pink skies with an amber glow amidst the pink clouds, dark terrain emanating a blue glow around, a small part lit up within a giant tree. Silver-white branches and roots, pink leaves, and a glowing inside, directly in the middle of the terrain, silver roots reaching out to it. Standing on a glowing pink root reaching out to the tree, you feel... almost lightheaded. As if it was a dream, and yet, you feel a little threatened.
You've been here before. This was the place the Light of Impartiality would speak to you before you had returned to your status as a hero. But the timing of it made you feel at edge. Almost like darkness could strike at any moment.
"Ah... You're here." An echo of a familiar but threatening voice resonated through the dreamy scape.
You gazed up at the tree, pensive as the voice echoed. The glow almost imitating the voice's pitch. "So you're the Cookie who stole my power and authority from me? Tell me, how exactly did you get that power of yours?"
You looked at the tree's glowing center, and then at your flickering Soul Jam. "... My Soul Jam?" The voice seemed to scoff at you. "Yes, your Soul Jam silly! Now tell me."
"I... No, why would I tell you? I don't know you."
"It was always mine. You just happened to stumble upon it. I was bestowed that power first, you're just using it without my permission." The voice attempts to establish their ownership, sowing the seeds of unease within you. "But that will be handled much later, I'll allow you to play your games for a little longer, I like your look of unease."
"I have a plan. You know who I am, and you know I have a plan. I have no clue if our Great Creators have informed you of this just yet, but an execution is in order. Not for you, of course. Maybe not exactly you, but not specifically you."
"[Justice] Cookie... You're the Beast of Selfishness, are you not... Why are you here talking to me? What is it that you need?" You stand your ground against the Beast of Selfishness, sure that something is at play here, and you're right of course, but it's not what you think...
"There was a prophecy of old that said one of the Six Evils laid in Beast-Yeast would end at their own hands as the very first step towards true peace for Cookiekind. All of their traces, good or bad, dessert or not, were said to be destroyed lest this very tree were to wilt... I'm sure you can guess what will happen now." Your eyes widened, and you stared at the tree as if it was the Cookie the voice came from, disbelief clouding your vision. "We're going to be executed...?" I whispered, voice trembling, Soul Jam flickering like a candlelight.
"I've seen it now. There is no point in all this corruption, this evil would take us nowhere even if we commanded it to. But I want my old friends to see that too. They are far too consumed in their peril to even think with a right mind. So while they spent their time recovering, I spent mine thinking. I thought, 'How could I convince them to give up their evil upon the Cookies and Earthbread?' 'Was there a way to stop them before they escaped?' What came of my thinking was this very dream realm you are in."
"You are asleep, I commanded your body to do so. After all, your body was mine." You raised an eyebrow and questioned the voice with a stern voice, trying to recover from your temors after the deep revelation (...which proved difficult. Who would've known it was gonna be hard to recover after being told you were gonna die?).
"So the Great Creators didn't inform you. Alright then, I'll tell you. When my friends first started show signs of corruption and evil, I had already prophesied it would happen many years ago, so I prepared for it. With my very own dough, I created a coy-dough body. Deep inside, I desired nothing more than to be a normal Cookie. Working hard, spending time with others without any worship of sorts... So that's what I made you to be. You are everything I wanted to be... you are perfect to me." The voice had a sense of sincerity within it, as if they actually cared about you... But you and your train of thoughts were interrupted. Turns out, they weren't done monologuing. You wanted to sit down already, but you didn't quite feel safe in this dreamscape just yet.
"Anyway, so I cursed myself, and made myself fall to corruption."
The voice continued. "You are a big part in kick-starting my prophecy I made while I was trapped in that tree; of the fated defeat of my old friends."
"Long ago, when I first was the Cookie of Justice, I had made an illusionary mechanism displaying guilt and truth as a scale that would help me justify the actions of Cookies under me at that time. During the time I was making you, I changed it to have another mechanism within it..."
"But perhaps you should see it with your own eyes. It is time to wake up but not as yourself.... [Impartiality] Cookie..."

I said WAKE UP.
You awoke from that dreamy slumber. Consciousness returned in a bright, golden stream not even Pure Vanilla Cookie was able to deter with his Soul Jam, but it was not you who was in control.
"[Impartiality] Cookie! Are you... Huh?" Gingerbrave peers over you, concern painting his shadowed figure overrun by your blurry vision. "Who are you and what have you done to [Impartiality] Cookie?!" An angry Wizard Cookie demands out of the Beast standing right before them.
The Silver Kingdom has changed quite a bit... pink skies with an amber glow behind a familiar figure with a familiar voice... the green leaves of the Silver Tree have turned pink, the same way its body... actually hasn't changed... the glowing pink roots you stood on in your dream are the same roots you laid on not a few moments ago... and from the amber glow stood the Beast of Selfishness themselves, [Justice] Cookie.
...Mirror-you? They look a lot like you so...
"Pfff, ahahahaha!— ah, sorry! The look of bewilderment on your faces were too amusing to keep a straight face. But well, to answer your questions, one, I am [Justice] Cookie. You know, the "Beast"?" [Justice] proclaims with a mellow face, a calm expression, and a shrug.
"Two, I talked to her. Of course, I put her into a deep sleep, it's fairly easy to make oneself slumber after being in that tree for so long, I'm just happy it finally worked." [Justice]'s eyes laid on the three Soul Jam crystals laid before her eyes. "Truth... Knowledge. Freedom... Solidarity. And Impartiality... Justice."
"From the crystals laid out in our dreamscape bubble, we have a good chance to fulfill the prophecy."
Elder Faerie Cookie spoke out, however a mere mutter under his breath barely audible to the eight beside him and the Beast in front, "The prophecy...", followed by about the same mutter by the two other faeries in the group with shocked faces. So the prophecy was true. Gingerbrave poked his head out, with crossed arms and a confused face blurted out, "What prophecy?-"
"There was a prophecy of old that told of one of the Six Beasts' fall at their own hands. It would be the first step towards true peace for Cookiekind. All traces of them would be washed away for eternity, never to be uttered or remembered by any Cookie baked..." Elder Faerie Cookie explained, he seems to actually be incredibly familiar with it... until Wizard Cookie bumped in. "But what does this have to do with the BEAST STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF US?!"
"I've seen it now. During the time I spent with those harbingers of evil in the tree, I thought. There was no point in falling into evil. If we forced it to bring us somewhere, it wouldn't grant us anything. So while they spent their time growing and recovering their power, I spent mine thinking and crafting my intricate plan for the first step towards world peace. What came of it was the prophecy of old you speak of."
"So I cursed all of my friends then. Of course, they were too confused and consumed by agony to notice. The scale would gather their power and use it to fuel itself enough to have the power to not only crumble my dough, but annihilate me for eternity." [Justice] seemed to be weirdly calm. Lucky for her, she prepared herself for this for thousands of years, so it's no shock that she's not scared of it anymore.
"Is there any questions that are left to be answered?" She ends it on a somber note. A few questions here and there, some important and others not. "What's gonna happen to [Impartiality] Cookie after this?" Strawberry Cookie asks, wary and scared, shaking even, tears and all.
"I... am not aware of what will happen to the coy-dough body of mine after. I'm afraid I have no answer to tell... Sorry!" Focalors tilts her head and shrugs with an awkward smile.
"Ah... The hour of my execution is almost here..."
She looks up at the glowing green guillotine.
" I know I may not sound it but... Faced with death, I find myself a little afraid." [Justice] gazes upon the glowing jungle green guillotine positioned just above her, a somber gaze but vague fear dances within it. You can almost hear the wails their dear friends cries out, the screams they let out to try to persuade their dear friend to not crumble... You can almost feel the way they cry for them....
You can hear vague screaming of sorts. Agonizing screams of desperation and sorrow, grief and overwhelming emotions. [Justice] turns to the cracked Silver Tree. However, now the crack is ink black instead of a glowing green, and an amber glow is shielding the Five Beasts sealed within from escaping. "My dear friends... I hope you've enjoyed the part you've played these last thousand years." A somber farewell, but a tinge of longing can be vaguely found in [Justice]'s voice. A sad but genuinely sweet smile creeps on [Justice]'s face. Perhaps she thinks of not the Beasts they've become but the Cookies she once called her dearest friends.
As the illusionary guillotine of the giant scale, [Justice] steps forward. They bid each of the Beasts a somber but genuine farewell, a goodbye note only they could hear. Eternal Sugar, Mystic Flour, Burning Spice, Silent Salt... Shadow Milk. A sweet smile, and then a somber dance under the sharp chandelier.
Almost as if she danced with someone else. Five other Cookies. Sharp turns, sweet twirls, empty but elegant moves, circus-like footwork, and quiet gestures to dance.
To the eight pairs of eyes watching, it seemed like just a dance that was special because it would be the last dance they'd ever perform. Perhaps they even practiced it for eons in the tree. But to the Beasts, it was a tearjerker, because it was the first dance [Justice] performed for them. Each dance move recalled memories from the better days. The days when they actually had fun.
As the dance comes to an end, [Justice] gives a perfect bow, towards the eight cookies who observed the entire thing. The friends that [Impartiality] would spend their life with. They wouldn't sound it, but they were grateful that they wouldn't be lonely in the future. A group of friends they could rely on, with allies who would risk everything for them.
The sword above [Justice] stops rotating and glints.
It plummets over them and...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
A sharp amber burst ends the sweet pink dream, and plummets the group back into the Faerie Kingdom.
A group of Faeries group around the group of eight, cheering "All hail the Saviors!", thinking they rehabilitated the Beast into a better Cookie. And they smile, the other Faeries kneeling along with them.
In the center of the crowd, the two ancient heroes spot their beloved friend. [Impartiality] Cookie, but different.
They resemble that Beast more now...
You awoke finally, memory clear as day... and so was the pain. The guillotine... You looked up, nothing but clear skies. The crack... You turned your head, nothing but a faint amber glow and pink roots under you... Your Soul Jam was also Green now, which was weird because White Lily's never changed.
You smiled at your friends, taking their hands and easing their worries of you. Turns out, they don't know anything. They just assumed you defeated the Beast and gained new magic from it... Eh, close enough?
When you had returned to your floating abode in the clouds, you couldn't help but gaze at the distant Silver Tree barely visible through the clouds. So no one but you knows what happened... They think you're the Beast of Selfishness redeemed to be the Virtue of Justice. You were no longer [Impartiality] but [Justice] in the flesh (or dough?).
You looked at your abode, pink glowing roots from a silver-white tree with pink leaves. A pink sky with amber glow, the same amber glow that kept your abode a-float, dark terrain held by your amber magic... [Justice]'s dream realm.
But perhaps it's best to keep the event to yourself. Let the Cookies think you're [Justice].
But also, you may need time for yourself because of... what just happened.
