She's an intelligent and competent person working at Arkham. And she does sessions with people and rouges for free or discounted rates when she's not in her office.

The newly retired Dr Freeze visits her regular while his wife is being treated by Frostbite.

(He visits Nora once a week but unlike his wife, who is death adjacent like Jazz, Sam, and Tucker, he can't be in the Realms for an extended period of time and not being with her is definitely making him stressed enough to need Jazz.)

The only people Jazz won't see out of office hours are people who target children.

Plus even before people found out her a Dr Fenton were siblings Jazz had made it clear that she was perfectly capable of defending herself when Black Mask tried to threaten her to get information on The Penguin.

Finding out that Danny and Jazz are siblings?

The Bats get nervous.

And it only gets more nerve racking when Dan and Danielle Fenton move into town and start helping out Gotham in there own ways.

The people of Gotham could do nothing but watch in horror as the Joker killed Dr. Fenton on live TV. The doctor had moved to Gotham a little over a year ago and quickly made a name for himself by setting up clinics and shelters in the seedier parts of the city. Many had warned him of the dangers, of the criminals that would potentially target him but he didn't listen. He continued his work and soon wormed his way into the hearts of many. That's why he made a great target for the Crown Prince of Crime. Because his death would be absolutely devastating.

And it was, until someone pointed out that the good doctor seemed to be twitching behind the Joker as his gloated to the camera. That twitching soon because full on squirming and the citizens could only watch in shocked curiosity as Dr. Fenton eventually twisted out of his restraints. Then he bent down to pick up a metal pipe lying on the ground and crept towards the Joker. Understandably, many were terrified. Why wasn't the doctor using this chance to get away? People began screaming at the screens for him to escape but he just got closer. Finally he was right behind his captor and brought the pipe over his head. In one fell swoop he brought the pipe down with a satisfying crack that all could hear.

"I usually keep pretty strictly to my hippocratic oath," Dr. Fenton said. "But for you, I'm willing to make an exception."

He then proceeded to drag the Joker out of frame by the collar. The live feed ended soon after. Later, when the police arrived. Dr. Fenton was found causally sitting on some steps outside the warehouse. As they got closer, they realized the steps were actually the Joker, alive albeit barely.

OC idea: Benjamin “Benji” Blazedale, son of Garfield Lynns (Firefly) and Dr. Jane Blazedale. After Garfield became Phosphorus and was remanded to Arkham, Benji ran away from the foster care system at age 15. He snuck into his dad’s old hideout and stole the Firefly equipment for himself. He planned to use it to commit thefts and robberies to survive until he could maybe afford college or a trade school, but he found himself unable to follow through the first time he actually tried a robbery. Since then, he’s operated somewhere in the same moral ballpark as the Red Hood, though he doesn’t have the stomach to kill any criminals.

Benji learned pyrotechnics from his dad and technical engineering from his mom. He’s always loved tinkering with pieces of small machinery, taking them apart and putting them back together to see what makes them tick. After a lot of experimenting, in fact, he even manages to redesign the Firefly jetpack to be more compact and efficient. Even after Lynns got arrested, Blazedale continued supporting Gotham’s supervillains behind the scenes with tech, since she still needed to put food on the table for two people.

Benji also has some friends among Gotham’s supervillain scene, like Victor Fries (through Dr. Blazedale’s work) and Selina Kyle (through living in East End), among others.

Once Benji decided to start acting as a vigilante, some of his relationships among Gotham’s underworld became a lot more strained. And an initial misunderstanding from Batwoman and Red Robin doesn’t help much on the other side of the fence.

Benji keeps the name Firefly as a vigilante. Outside of changes made for the sake of practicality, Benji also updates the suit’s design to more closely resemble the Firefly suit from The Batman (2004).

Benji does establish a good working relationship with Huntress and Catwoman, and his friendship with Victor Fries stays intact so long as Firefly stays out of Fries’s business. Benji also manages to befriend the Spoiler, mainly over the common C-tier supervillain dads situation.

Ok, first off, you forgot the Al Ghul's and the League of Assassin's.

Second off, I'd use either Mad Hatter, Professor Pyg, or Calender Man. I chose these 3 because they're generally regarded as B-Tier/C-Tier Batman Villains, who are genuinely scary as fuck when you stop and think about it. I'll go over the movie plots for them all individually, but I wanna ask a third point.

Third Point, what's the limit on using the pre-used Batman Villains? Because I'd like to use some of them in the plot, but not as their Villain selves, but rather as they were before they became Villains. This story, no matter who I choose as the Villain would be a Very early tale in Batman's History, around year 1-3ish, so I'd have alot of Characters as their non-Villain Identities, such as Harvey Dent, Harleen Quinzell, Victor Fries, Jonathan Crana, Edward Nygma, Thomas Elliot, Selina Kyle, Roman Scionis, Carmine Falcone, Arnold Wesker, Pamela Isley and Kirk Langstrom. All of them would have varying roles from background cameos, plot roles, to being mentioned in passing.

The base story's year depends on the Villain. If the Villain is Calender Man, then this story starts off in year 1 Batman, and will play out over the next 2 years in universe as it ends in Year 3. If it's Mad Hatter or Professor Pyg, it's year 2 Batman as he's gotten his baby licks of crime fighting in and is getting his groove on by fighting his first ever "Well what the fuck" sort of Villains.

For the Calender Man story, it's more an Adaptation of the Long Halloween storyline, where Calendar Man is a Serial Killer who makes his killings around Holidays and specific dates, with the story taking place over 3 years it allows me as the director to create 3 variations of the Batsuit, 1 for each year, to appease to toy makers, and Give Batman reasons/explanations for a majority of his more advanced detective equipment in his early days as being made to find clues and track Calendar Man. Story would start with Batman taking down Drug operations between the Falcone and Scionis crime families, with a side plot in the first act (year 1) about Jim Gordon beginning to trust Batman and mentioning in passing his little girl Barbara who's only 7 at the time. I'd also have further side moments in between the search for Calendar Man where Bruce Wayne gets time to simply be Bruce Wayne, hanging out with Childhood and College Friends Thomas, Harleen, and his newest friend, Harvey Dent, who just got brought into the DA's office staff as a Junior Deligate out of college.

Act 2 would cover Year 2, finding more info on Calendar Man's murders and Past as Batman brings all the evidence to various experts depending on what Clue's or trails were left behind (Going to Dr. Isley if a specific plant needs to be identified, Dr. Fries if the Calendar Man used a freezer to hide/stash the bodies until they're removed and dumped on important dates, with Dr. Edward Nygma working as the resident forensic scientist for the GCPD, and Dr. Langstrom being the one you go to in case an animal was involved or if there was risk of rare genetics playing into their deaths.

During the third act (3rd year) they grow ever closer to catching the Calendar man, with them finding evidence of him planning his next attack of Hayley's Circuis, who's performing a show on a Holiday I haven't decided yet. The intended target of his murder this holiday is Tony Zucco, a crime boss working for the Falcone Family, who Calender Man was convinced to go after by Roman Scionis, now going by Black Mask. During the fight against Calendar Man, Tony Zucco sabotaged and ended up killing John and Mary Grayson. Calender Man would surrender afterwards to the police, as he holds himself to a tight moral compass of "only 1 person must be murdered on a Holiday per year", with the death of John and Mary Grayson's violating his code. Bruce Wayne, at the Funeral for the Grayson's, approaches the Grayson's son, 8 year old Dick Grayson, offering to take him in, coming up with the half-truth that he was in attendance at the show, and went through a similar situation, offering to take Dick in. And finally, As Calendar Man is being shipped off to Arkham Asylum, he is introduced to his Arkham Psychologist, Victor Crane, who promises to try to... fix him.

I can cover the Mad Hatter and Professor Pyg story later, but the base story is of Human experimentation and Mind Controlling the people of Gotham, with me more likely tieing both Villains into 1 movie.

You get free rein and a blank check to write the next Batman movie but you can’t use any villains who have appeared in any previous live-action Batman movies. That means you can’t use Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Dr. Freeze, Scarecrow, or Bane.

It’s an old argument, not quite a riddle, often quoted but seldom understood.  Bridgit has her own thoughts on the matter, but as the world ends outside of the apartment that she’s sitting in, she can’t find it within herself to care.

Duuuude relating back to the 'rogues left with a child post' from not too long ago, imagine Freeze being left with his and Nora's child but later in life he finds out their kid got Nora's same condition ☠️

YOOO DUDE hiya and glad to see ya! Sorry bout the wee delay was finishing uni and stuff. For this imma say the kid is a wee girl because I like hitting Victor where it hurts.

After the kid was born Freeze had a choice. He couldn't focus on raising a child and finding a cure for Nora's condition. He tried so hard for the first couple of months but trying to focus on both were spreading him too thin. It wasn't good for Nora or the baby.

Nora knew she was dying and told Victor to focus on their little girl. They have a heartfelt goodbye and Nora dies when the baby is 4 months old. After she passes he can focus as much as he wants on their child. As the kid grows she's like a mini Nora. Same blonde hair, same smile. It breaks Victor a little every day.

Victor still loves and cares for her. She grows up to be a happy, bubbly young woman. She took after her mother in so many ways but she still got her smarts from her father. He was so proud of watching her grow, even getting accepted into a prestigious Gotham University.

The condition tends to start developing in people around their 30s however it can start showing as early as a person's 20s. Whenever he gets the call that his daughter has collapsed his stomach sinks. He can feel the same weight he first felt after Nora collapsed for the first time.

Victor is in utter despair when he realizes he'll have to go through it again. He tries his best to remain strong but he's older, more tired. He can't emotionally take it again.

Ah, yes, I believe I’ll start out with a ~3k Fluff oneshot appetizer with my favorite ship. Domestic if you have it; thanks!

May I see the Angst menu? Oh my, 200k+! Should I try this 30 chapter crime AU? Or maybe this series of 4+1 stories? What do you recommend? Oh, no, I don’t think I should have Major Character Death so early in the night. For now, I’ll just stick with a smooth ~8k implied/referenced depression and see where the night takes us. Which character? Surprise me!

For the main course, I’d like your finest hurt/comfort. Incomplete is fine; just so long as it has at least 16k words currently and takes me a long time to read whilst I ignore real life responsibilities. I want to be fantasizing about this when I fall asleep tonight, spending the next few days or even weeks anticipating the updates. If you can fit a slow burn romance in there, your tip will reflect it. ;)
