His summer job was coming with a decent enough paycheck, at least enough that he might actually have to pay taxes this year. "But I mean spending time with Mollie has been nice and it's also been freeing. I..actually have a date tomorrow. With..a man," he admitted, his cheeks flushing. He’d known he’d needed them from the moment he’d saw them. The infamous MSCHF boots. So he’d worked hard, saved his money, of course heard hesitation from Dove to his boyfriend, Jamie but he’d wanted the boots. And he finally had them. And while he’d gotten them, he’d also stopped by the comic shop to pick up the newest titles. After talking to Trevor and showing them off to him, well, he had to try them on and of course, he’d roped Trevor into trying the other boot. “And they are mad comfortable too. "If you like faeries, then it's great!" Sterling laughed softly. It was actually the first thing she'd read like that. Sterling didn't read for fun and she used to hate reading anything at all, but her daughter enjoyed books and after her sister and brother-in-law moved in with her and her daughter for a while, Sunny saw her aunt and uncle reading to their own daughter all the time and she ended up loving it. So really, Sterling got into books because her daughter would drag her to the library for them.

"I'm not. I read half of a book he recommended to me and I was not okay. I had to sleep with the light on for longer than I like to admit." Sterling laughed. "The only time I've watched a horror movie, I hid behind my friend the entire time."

"I haven't heard of that one." Trevor admitted, he was very very new to all of this. The most he'd read before were comics or textbooks he was required to in school. Nothing usually to just pass time. "I like horror, science fiction, and fantasy." He laughed at her comment about her brother-in-law. "You aren't a horror fan? Not even the movies?" He questioned, he was a huge horror movie buff. He watched every single one that was released even if it had shitty reviews.

"...Pikachu? Like the Pokemon?" Celeste echoed, frowning in confusion and even narrowing her eyes a bit, almost as if squinting would help before she shook her head because nah, that wasn't it. But then the man spoke again with another costume suggestion and she hummed, nodding slowly, "Maybe? That makes a bit more sense at least--but now the question is if they have a Pennywise?" She wondered. "That's the problem with paired costumes. Some people look ridiculous if left alone."

Trevor followed her line of sight, pinching his brows together when he found who—or what—she was looking at. “Is it a Pikachu?” He doesn’t remember Pikachu having a red balloon or bloody hand prints on his chest. “Oh!” Trevor gasped out loud, “It’s the dead kid from IT.” He added matter-of-factly, unable to believe it took him so long to realise what he was looking at.

Trevor didn't know how he got talked into going to hunt for ghosts. It was never really his thing. It wasn't that he didn't believe in them, it was that he would be terrified if something really happened while looking for them. "Oh, I just brought my camera." He said, holding it up for her to see. "I'm still a little new to this whole thing so.." He laughed and glanced around the area, he was a little nervous. Last time he went out seeking ghosts was in high school and he used a Ouija board, it was more than likely one of his friends who moved it, but he was still scarred regardless.

Sophia wondered if her mom had any hobbies or interests. Something to show for other than a loving wife and mother for her time on this earth. "Left hook," she repeated with a smirk. "For sure. I'm called powerhouse Presmont in these streets for a reason." she reached out to playfully nudge her fist against Trevor's jaw to prove her point. "Not just brains but brawn too."

"I don't even mean that, it's just always about the wife and the kids. No hobbies? Maybe dude was a really good bowler, would've loved to read about that." Then again he wasn't sure he if had any hobbies of his own either, or if his interests could be counted as hobbies. "Left hook?," he scoffed, grinning back at her as she set the paper down and leaned forward. "You use that a lot? Probably right, with all the street fights you get into."
