James Davenport of PC Gamer criticized the repetitiveness of the game, calling it "shallow" and "boring". The game has been criticized for its region-based progression system and balancing issues. In September 2019, von Funck announced that the game would be officially released via Steam on September 30, and that purchasers of the alpha release would receive a Steam key for free. During its alpha release, many players were concerned about further development of the game due to the general lack of updates from von Funck, with many considering the game to be vaporware, despite him stating several times during development that the game was still being worked on.

** SYNOPSIS ** KINGSMAN, l’élite du renseignement britannique en costumes trois pièces, est à la recherche de sang neuf. Pour recruter leur nouvel agent secret, elle doit faire subir un entrainement de haut vol à de jeunes privilégiés aspirant au job rêvé. L’un d’eux semble être le candidat « imparfaitement idéal » : un jeune homme impertinent de la banlieue londonienne nommé Eggsy. Ces super-espions parviendront-ils à contrer la terrible menace que fait peser sur le monde l’esprit torturé du criminel Richmond Valentine, génie de la technologie?

Matthew Vaughn réalise de nouveau, après X-Men: Le Commencement, une autre adaptation, tirée également d'un Comic Book. C'est la Twentieth Century Fox qui prend le pari et c'est un pari plus que réussit. On a rarement vu un film aussi jouissif et cinglant ! Il surpasse de ce fait le très drôle et décalé Kick Ass du même réalisateur.

Vaughn nous sert un mélange parfait entre tout ce qu'on peut attendre du réalisme et du classique d'un James Bond, de l'humour d'un Johnny English, et du politiquement incorrect d'un Snatch. C'est un film qui parlera à plusieurs catégories de spectateurs. Les fans de la première heure des films d'espionnages bien plus sérieux et propres sur eux s'y plairont tout autant que le jeune public plus enclin à apprécier les blockbusters pleins d'actions. Le spectateur prend bien plus son pied que devant un Austin Power qui rassemble aussi les deux genres : espionnage et humour. Le scénario est totalement loufoque et les dialogues sont hilarants. Les situations auxquelles les personnages sont confrontées sont extra. Il aurait été simple de tomber dans la facilité, mais ce n'est jamais le cas. Lorsque nous pensons arriver dans le creux de la vague, le tsunami revient de plus belle. C'est un de ces rares films qui font rire tout du long, et par rire, il est évidemment question de ce rire très bruyant qui force votre entourage à prétendre qu'il n'est pas avec vous. La réalisation est remarquable. Les angles de vue et la rythmique des scènes sont très, très bons. Le film en découle sans aucune difficulté. En plus des inspirations venues tout droit de James-Bond-Land, on ne peut pas s'empêcher de remarquer beaucoup de clins d’œil à Star Wars. Loin de s'en rapprocher dans l'univers du film, c'est plus dans sa construction et dans certaines scènes qu'il est facile de faire une liaison. Vaughn réalise d'ailleurs ce rêve de petit gamin et met en scène Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker dans la première trilogie de George Lucas). La bande son est complètement hallucinante ! On reste toujours dans un mélange à doses très bien mesurées : la bande originale peut appartenir à un film beaucoup plus sérieux dans son contenu, alors qu'en complément, le choix des chansons est rock'n'roll à souhait. On retrouve, à notre grande surprise, Colin Firth (Le Discours D'un Roi) dans le rôle d'Harry Hart, mentor Kingsman, aux manières impeccables et à la vulgarité rapide. C'est la première fois qu'il incarne un homme d'action et il est plus que convaincant. Il remplit sa mission avec brio et on le remercie d'avoir eu la brillante idée de s'essayer à ce registre ! Le rôle principal de Gary "Eggsy" Unwin est occupé par Taron Egerton. C'est un petit nouveau dans le monde du cinéma qui signe ici son second rôle sur grand écran. C'est le beau mec parfait et un caméléon impressionnant : il passe avec beaucoup d'aisance du monde de la banlieue au chic du costume trois pièces. Il n'a rien à envier aux acteurs confirmés avec lesquels il joue ici. Il a tout d'un grand : un charisme, un côté comique et un côté attendrissant. On s'attend à le revoir très vite et beaucoup sur nos grands écrans, pour notre plaisir personnel. Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) enfile le costume d'un Bill Gates égocentrique qui veut faire payer son zozotement au monde entier. Contrairement aux méchants habituellement mis en avant dans le genre de l'espionnage, Richemond Valentine aborde une apparence à la fois risible et complètement "cool". Son interprétation fait rire les spectateurs du début à la fin. Il reste bien évidemment fidèle à lui même et profane toujours autant d'insultes (quelque peu écorchées par son problème d'élocution). Comme les codes du genre le commandent, le grand méchant se doit d'être toujours en compagnie de son fidèle bras droit et personne à tout faire. Vaughn choisi de confier le rôle de Gazelle à une femme (c’est un homme dans le Comic Book) : la frenchie Sofia Boutella (Street Dance 2) et c'est un choix qui fonctionne très bien puisque la composition du casting est déjà très masculine.

On retrouve également un Mark Strong (Kick Ass) très drôle dans la peau d'un homme d'action à la répartie d'enfer ! Michael Caine (la trilogie The Dark Knight) apporte son humour et son élégance incomparable, mais on regrette de ne pas le voir assez longtemps à l'écran. KINGSMAN : SERVICES SECRETS se positionne comme un des meilleurs films d'espionnage de l'histoire du cinéma. Il arrive à combiner tous les ingrédients qui font d'un long-métrage un grand film et pourrait très bien devenir une référence du genre. À voir et à revoir ! Et on espère vraiment qu'une suite sera annoncée très rapidement !

so we all have the sweet virginal innocent girl x the bad mature self-confidant guy ship and i fully support that but i also want a plot where it’s exactly that, except i want the sweet little cinnamon roll to be a guy, MUSE A, who’s sweet and soft and lovely and everyone around him falls in love with him because he’s a breath of fresh air and MUSE B is not immune. Maybe Muse B is Muse A’s older sibling’s best friend, maybe they met at a party and opposites attract. NFL ultimate all-conference teams – ACC and SEC

Just because sports is on hiatus doesn’t mean the competition needs to end. While we wait for the live action to return, ESPN has assembled a collection of “ultimate all-conference teams” that should intrigue college football and NFL fans alike.

Our panel of NFL analysts, college and NFL Nation reporters — Andrea Adelson, Matt Bowen, Courtney Cronin, Turron Davenport, Jeff Legwold, Adam Rittenberg, Mike Triplett, Jake Trotter and Field Yates — selected 22-man starting lineups of current NFL players based on their college conference. Notre Dame was paired with the ACC because of its affiliation.

The criteria: Choose rosters for the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC and non-Power 5 that are best suited to win the next Super Bowl.

We then ranked the teams to determine which group deserves the ultimate bragging rights. We will roll out the all-star lineups by region Monday through Wednesday, then reveal the final rankings on Thursday. On Friday, we will rank the top three lineups from individual schools.

Each offense had to include a quarterback, running back, two receivers, a tight end, two offensive tackles, two guards, a center and a flex player from any of the skill positions. Each defense had to include two edge-rushers, two interior linemen, two linebackers, four defensive backs and a flex spot that could come from any spot of the defense.

It all kicks off Monday with the NFL’s ultimate all-conference teams for the ACC and SEC. Let the second-guessing begin.

Toughest choice: Quarterback. Jackson, the NFL’s reigning MVP, won comfortably with seven out of nine votes. But the ACC had plenty of notable candidates, including Deshaun Watson, Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers and Jameis Winston. “It was a very difficult choice to make, but the jump Watson made from Year 2 to Year 3 and what I think he’s capable of in his fourth season led me to vote for him,” said Cronin, who was one of two panelists to go that route. “Watson is an MVP-caliber quarterback, too. I respect all that Jackson did in 2019 and think he’s a more dynamic all-around player. But I go back to last season and see moments where Watson single-handedly won or kept the Texans in games in spite of everything else that was going wrong for Houston.”

Biggest strength: Offensive line. There are plenty of good answers for this category in a star-studded lineup led by Jackson, Donald and Hopkins. But this offensive line deserves special mention because it might be the best of any conference once you add in that ridiculous amount of talent from the Irish.

“Hey, the scheduling partnership the ACC has with Notre Dame in football has its benefits!” Adelson said. “But in all seriousness, nobody thinks much about the ACC producing talent at offensive line because the default generally goes to the Big Ten. But the conference has consistently turned out good players, including three that received votes here in Anthony Castonzo, Joe Thuney and Brian O’Neill.”

Missing piece: Luke Kuechly. The linebacker’s retirement left the ACC without one of its biggest stars. Another area where the conference will have trouble measuring up is tight end, where Rudolph beat out young riser Darren Waller and aging stars Greg Olsen and Jimmy Graham.

For me to even be in there somewhere is a blessing for sure.”

Toughest choice: Running back and wide receiver. There was an embarrassment of riches at the skill positions, where we couldn’t find room for Alvin Kamara, Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley, Amari Cooper or A.J. Green among others. Jones was the only unanimous choice at receiver or running back.

“Henry received the most votes at running back, and I get it. He’s a volume back with the physical traits to take over games in the fourth quarter. But what about the dual-threat ability of Kamara?” said Bowen, who was one of five panelists to vote for Kamara at either running back or the flex spot. “He’s a three-down impact player at the position. And let’s not forget about Chubb, who can hammer the ball between the tackles and rip off explosive plays. I could have voted for all three.”

Biggest strength: Defensive back. If the SEC winds up winning this competition, the defense will be the reason — especially this loaded secondary. Because of tiebreakers, The Associated Press named seven defensive backs as first-team All-Pros last season. And a whopping six of them came from the SEC. This group is so stacked that we had to leave out Minkah Fitzpatrick, Eddie Jackson, Marlon Humphrey and Patrick Peterson.

“You could have told me to pick the starters for the SEC secondary and then said, ‘Actually, those players are not available to you,’ and I��d still feel great about my group!” Yates said. “Outstanding players were bound to miss the cut.”

Missing piece: Quarterback. No offense to Prescott (or runners-up Matthew Stafford and Cam Newton). But he is going to be measured against the likes of Patrick Mahomes from the Big 12; Tom Brady, Drew Brees or Russell Wilson from the Big Ten; Lamar Jackson from the ACC; and Aaron Rodgers from the Pac-12 when we vote for the ultimate champion. And that’s the one area that could hold back the mighty SEC.
