A little picrew of my Hermit, Livia!
Livia is 34 years old, and has only been Imbued for about... maybe a year, at most. She comes from a very tough "performance family" background-- think beauty pageants, vocal competitions, stage mom bullshit. Livia was forced into the arts, and in particular, was pushed to better her singing voice.
After graduating from a big name school, taking on crippling debt for what was expected of her, Livia became an operatic soprano. Never any big roles, mind, but her experience was good, and she made decent money. She never really enjoyed the work, but giving it up was beyond her.
When she had her awakening, she was performing in front of a closed audience for a special guest-- a Toreador Elder. As the Elder began to extend control over Livia and the rest, Livia experienced a different form of awakening; a nosebleed on stage and the static and its screaming rending up her spine and reducing her to agonized writhing.
It was enough to stop the slow encroach of the Toreador's control over her and the other performers, for reasons Livia does not understand.

Maybe. Or maybe you're not treating it well. How have you been treating it? Does it have enough space to live in? A lot of pet stores say that rodents need a lot less space than is ideal for them. And enrichment is important for all animals, even small ones.
Steals things? Like what? They're not big, there's only so much that they can take..
I mean, hamsters tend to just... go. Wherever whenever they want. Best thing to do is keep them away from your books or belongings. Get a way to gate them off from things.
Well maybe this one just really hates me then.
He just continues to steal my things, bites me, has been pooping & peeing on my books, intentionally, to like, ruin the pages or something. I don't have a photo because he constantly runs away from me whenever he sees the camera. Also, yes I think it's definitely a hamster. I'm the one that turned him into it, I would know.

as i have yet to arrange my carrd, i thought i might delve a little into my primary arc, which will follow coriolanus into the beginnings of his political career and into his presidential campaign, the reconstruction of panem into a complete autocracy with the elimination of all political opposition, as well as the gradual development of the hunger games as entertainment. most prominent is the theme of utter moral decay that underlies his entire character, as he cuts off any potential for humanity within himself as he hoards more & more power. i want to explore him continuously choosing himself over others, over the country's welfare. the extent of the distance he sets up between himself and the rest of society; since boyhood, he believes he is superior to his classmates, then thinks he is better-suited than the other politicians, until eventually, there are no more stepping-stones.
the gist of the arc is this: after tbosas, snow interns with dr gaul at the university, before being promoted to head gamemaker following his graduation, during which time he launched countless initiatives to improve the workings of the games, from establishing the career institutions in districts 1/2/4, to integrating stylists & interviews, among other things, to engage the capitol audience. through this position, he further integrates himself into the high society of panem, amassing support for his agenda, which propels his eventual presidential campaign. he is favoured among the capitol, especially within the old noble families, for his creative ideas and promises of a booming economy. not wanting to take any risks, and with a paranoia more rampant than ever, he swiftly deals with his opposition through poison. a poison that leaves him with ailments, too, to alleviate suspicions. he takes over, and over the course of decades, gradually dismantles any and all avenues of a democratic system. suppression of the districts comes as a result of the restoration of the capitol to its full glory, with higher taxes & quotas. any doubts & qualms he debates with himself, which are present, especially during the early years, are ultimately rationalized as he covets control & hoards it.
#( * C . S / analysis ) â° the condition of man is a condition of war of everyone against everyone.#on that note.. lots of thoughts / head full regarding his rise to power and i think that'd be neat to explore.#also again.. kindly requesting more capitol muses because the interaction b/n them shifting as he amasses power is always intriguing.#him & livia brokering a political marriage?#all the stylists/gamemakers/staff/etc. he employs to liven up the games and make a performance out of them??#victors & mentors forcefully integrated into capitol society as celebrities & trinkets???#sejanus-lives-au where he's one of the other political candidates hello??? potential???#tbd.

Winter Gala | C.S.
summary: Coriolanusâ first winter gala as Panemâs President and your first winter gala as First Lady.
pairing: young, president!coriolanus snow x fem, first lady!reader
includes: literally just fluff and kissing. (and some hints to reader being pregnant.)
a/n: some winter love for my favorite (aka coryo bb)
âDonât you look gorgeous, my First Lady.â Coriolanus wraps his arms around your waist as you clip your earrings on, smiling at him through the mirror.
âYou look pretty handsome yourself, Mr. President.â You turn in his arms and lace your own behind his neck, eyes flickering around his face. âFirst winter gala as the President, Coryo. Thatâs exciting.â
He lowers his arms down to your hips, placing a chaste kiss to your lips. âLetâs give them a night to remember.â
You let one hand drift to his lips, wiping some of the lipstick off. âPerfect.â
Truly, everything in the Snow Manor was perfect. The help decorated the walls and halls with the lights you deemed the best, and the cooks made the most delicious foods for those to come eat. There were christmas trees present in almost every room, with waiters holding champagne glasses on silver platers. Coriolanus and yourself made sure everything was perfect for the first winter gala as President of Panem.
All of those who held status in the Capitol were invited, along with the past district mentors whom you both attended classes with. There was press inside and unwanted paparazzi outside, immediately becoming the talk of those who arrived to the manor.
As the Snow manor filled with distinguished guests, you were hooked around Coriolanusâ arm like a beautiful trophy, conversing with only those you wanted to.
âItâs wonderful to see you again, Livia.â You give her your best smile, removing yourself from your husband to give her a brief hug. âIâm sure Festus has been a pain, as usual.â
âDonât say that.â She quietly laughed, giving her own husband a glance before looking at the manor in awe and grabbing two champagne glasses of a serverâs plate. âHere.â
âOh no, thank you.â You decline politely, folding your hands together.
âSuit yourself.â She placed one back onto another plater. âThe place looks wonderful. The lighting is everything.â
âThank you. I do love aââ
âExcuse me, ladies, but could I borrow my wife for a bit? Itâs time for my speech.â Coriolanus cut in, sneaking an arm around your waist.
Livia nodded, gesturing toward you. âOf course.â
You give her one last smile before following Coriolanus. Sure, you wanted to converse with old classmates, but as the most popular couple in Panem, you had other duties to tend to.
âSee Tigris yet?â You murmur in his direction as you ascend the stairs, Coriolanusâ hand placed on the small of your back.
He shook his head, âShe didnât show. She called and said she was busy with work.â
âThatâs too bad. I was hoping to speak to her about an important matter.â You frown and mumble the last bit, your ringed hand lightly moving to your stomach. âAnyway, you must mention how you were delighted to see everyone come here today.â
âOf course, I will. You think I donât remember that, beautiful?â He kissed your cheek as you reached the balcony looking over the foyer. âReady?â
âAlways.â You lace hands with him.
Coriolanus instructed someone to shut the main lights off and flash the spot light on you both, earning awed noises from the crowd below.
âThank you all for coming to our first winter gala!â Coriolanus started and got applause from those in the audience.
He went on to thanking everyone who came and spoke about his time as President, calling out those who helped him win the election.
âAnd of course, I would not have done this all with my lovely wife. Give it up for her, yeah?â He spoke, your name flawlessly living his lips. You flush from the praise but wave to the people below, squeezing Coriolanusâ hand.
âWant to say anything?â He murmured as the applause quieted. You shook your head, resting your hand on your stomach again.
Coriolanus kissed your cheek once more before wrapping up his speech, raising his glass as a final gesture. Everyone else followed suit, your own glass of water being lifted.
âWonderful speech, my love.â You show your pearly whites as he whisked you away to a hallway.
âThatâs because you wrote it, darling.â He met your lips, feeling your grin widen in the kiss.
You let one hand rest on his chest while the other comes around to his neck, Coriolanusâ hands firm on your waist.
âI love you.â You mumble in between kisses, holding your urge to not slide your fingers through his slicked back hair.
He squeezes your waist, pulling you impossibly closer. âI love you more.â

The President
Pairing: Coriolanus Snow x Reader
W/C: 3.2k
Warnings: SMUT!!, Livia is also a warning.
(this is getting out of hand now. someone please for the love of GOD stop me from writing these. also the president thing got away from me in this one and i feel sick.) (EDIT: hereâs part 2 babes, as requested!) (requests r open, send me stuff here)
-
âWell, Felix will obviously get it." You'd hardly been listening to the conversation at hand, but Lysistrata seemed to be making a point that you wouldn't want to miss, given her excessive gesturing whilst talking, "His father was the last President, and he was great, I'm sure they'll take that into consideration-"
"But Festus is smarter." Livia cut in, snippish as always, pointed nose turned up and drink poised, looking like a judging, middle-aged woman. "And he's got the grades to prove it. And he was thought of very highly within the University, you know."
"But what about Pup? Surely he'll make a better president than Festus, and I dare say Felix, aswell." Clemensia was next to make her point, "Eugh, thinking about Festus at school, how sloppy he was," She'd turned to you, now, "Do you remember that? How on earth could he make a good president?"
"But he's different now, Clemmie, such a great husband, and he'll be such a great President, when he gets the position later." Livia was always so disgustingly sure of herself, it made you want to tell her to shut up, and then, after the fact, lock yourself in your apartment for the next few hours and scream into a pillow. "What about you, Y/N? Who do you think will get it?"
You hadn't even bothered to listen to what the rest of the women thought the pros and cons of their respective husbands being President of Panem, were. Your ears had only really perked up upon hearing your name come from Livia's puckered little mouth. "Well, I think you're discounting Coriolanus."
This warranted an eruption of laughter from all of the women around you, Clemmie laughed so hard that she had to grip your arm for support, and Livia pointed her glass at the rest of your former classmates and laughed with them over your statement. "You can't be serious!" Livia shrieked. "I mean, I know he's your husband and all, sweetie, but he's a total rule breaker, they need someone reliable, trustworthy! Your Coriolanus isn't anything of the sort."
Your Coriolanus. It almost made your face crack into a smile, and you had to roll your tongue around in your mouth to keep from giggling like the schoolgirl you once were. You'd only been married to Coriolanus for three days, but you'd had to postpone your honeymoon so that he could go ahead with his running for President of Panem. It didn't feel quite real, yet, that you'd married your childhood sweetheart, and hearing Livia refer to him as your husband, as much as you hated her, made your head spin with happiness.
"He'd be more than capable, Livia. He's smart, incredibly smart, and that's been recognised, too. And he's seen more of Panem than anyone you'd consider to be a prime candidate. Dr Gaul loves him, surely her vote is better counted than most anyone else's." You countered. Normally, you wouldn't involve yourself with such arguments. Your high school friends had been married a lot longer than you had, settled at twenty as opposed to your wedding at twenty-three, and you'd always had the gruelling job of listening in on them competing with eachother.
Who's husband was best at this, who's was best at that? Who's father-in-law was richest, who's husband had bought them the bigger house after the wedding, who's husband fucked them the most and who's was best? You'd vowed to yourself that, when the time came, and you and Coryo finally married, you wouldn't bother telling anyone much of your personal life.
"I suppose you have a point." Clemensia was easily the nicest out of your friends, the only one you really enjoyed the company of, and she liked Coriolanus, too. While the others only seemed to slander him, what with his stint in the games and his time as a Peacekeeper, she only ever seemed to speak about him from a place of friendship. "Coriolanus is smart, and Dr Gaul adores him, remember when we mentored? He'd have won the Plinth prize, for sure, if everything else hadn't happened."
"But it did, though, Clemensia. It did happen, and I think his chances have been ruined, if I'm honest." Lysistrata made her first comment in a few minutes.
"They've definitely been ruined. I mean, half of the Capitol think he's a rebel." Livia scoffed.
"But the other half think he's brilliant. A young, complex mind. Someone who doesn't think like the rest of us do." You took a sip from your drink, and Livia scowled at you. She knew you were right, and, although Livia always had a counter argument, she seemed lost on this one. "I suppose we'll have to wait. Maybe the half of us who think he's great will outweigh the half who don't."
"I suppose we will, slim chance and all, but..." Livia shrugged and clicked her tongue. "We won't be waiting too long, look."
She gestured to the television, which had been playing commentary from Lucretius 'Lucky' Flickerman, and had now switched to all four men standing uniformly on a stage, crowds surrounding them. Lucky uttered something about how the last votes had now been cast, and so it was time to announce the President.
Livia gasped and grabbed your hand, then Lysistrata's, and Clemensia took hold of your other one, giving it a slight squeeze and sending a small smile your way. "This is it!" Livia announced dramatically.
"Hold tight, ladies! One of us is about to be First Lady of Panem." It was painfully obvious, when Livia said 'one of us', that she meant herself. You knew she wouldn't even think about being happy for any of the rest of you, should it be anyone other than Festus claiming the title.
"Here, we have our four presidential candidates." Lucky announced on the television, "All Academy and University graduates, we have, Festus Creed, Felix Ravinstill, Pliny Harrington, and, last but not least, Coriolanus Snow!"
You smiled softly when the camera panned over the boys on stage, your childhood friends, your husband, standing side by side, all up for the position of President. Coriolanus' suit was pressed to perfection by Tigris, and you'd done his hair for him that morning, he looked amazing - handsome, professional, presidential.
"Now, in this envelope, I have the name of the man, out of these four, who will become President of Panem." Lucky flashed a black and gold envelope, and then stalled for a few seconds, having a pigeon fly out of his sleeve, and making an out of place remark about magic.
"The time has come." The broadcast was incredibly dramatic, and you wished he'd just cut the unnecessary stuff and put you all out of your misery. "The new President of Panem, is..."
The silence of Lucky's pause was filled with Livia clamping a hand over her mouth and squealing, you wished even further that she would just be quiet.
"Coriolanus Snow!"
You'd hardly been expecting him to actually win, but Coryo had put so much of himself into his campaign, and you felt a huge sense of pride wash over you as the cameras closed in on him and his face lit up in one of his stunning, toothy grins. Your eyes widened in shock, and you heard Clemmie laugh excitedly.
"Congratulations!" She let go of your hand and threw her arms around you. "Coriolanus deserves this, really, he does, and so do you!"
You hadn't a clue what to say to anyone, whether to revel in your glory or to extend your sympathy that their husbands hadn't won, but, when you turned to see Livia's face, bright red and obviously stewing in anger, and Lysistrata's dropped in sheer disappointment, you almost laughed out loud.
"I suppose the part of the Capitol who love Coryo is bigger than the part who don't." You smiled sweetly at Livia. "I wish Festus better luck next time.â
-
The rest of the day dragged on, Livia had only been letting her anger fester and had hardly said a word since the announcement - you certainly weren't complaining - and the rest of the girls were simply flooding you with questions, congratulations, and stories from when they'd been growing up with Coriolanus, as though reminding you of the fact they'd been there since before he was President.
The reporters had become an issue, too. Coryo had warned you about them, kneeling in front of you after fastening the straps of your high heels that morning. "They'll try to bleed you dry, whether I win or not. Just try to ignore them, don't give them much. All they want is a story." And then, he'd kissed you and smoothed your hair down, soothing you on what he knew was already a nerve-wracking morning.
You tried to remember his words, solidified with that kiss, every time they approached you. Don't give them too much, but don't give them nothing, ignore them where you can, wait until you've been properly trained on how to give interviews. It began to dawn on you that your entire life might start to feel like this, now, and you made a mental note to tell Coryo all of your concerns later and let him silence them for you.
You didn't see your husband for almost an hour after the announcement, and most of the women you'd been with before the broadcast were badly drunk by the time he showed his face. It was in the middle of a particularly slurred story, about something that Clemmie absolutely should not have been telling every female University graduate that she knew, that you'd felt the large, familiar hand snake it's way around your waist.
You turned to find Coryo standing there, beaming down at you. "Hello, First Lady." He mused. You smiled so widely at him, and quickly pulled his face down to connect your lips in an almost too suggestive kiss, earning whoops from the crowd of girls you'd gone to school with.
"Sorry, ladies, I'm going to borrow my wife for a while, if you don't mind." Coryo smiled to everyone, and then accepted side-hugs and kisses on the cheek and congratulations from everybody around you.
Afterwards, he quickly pressed his hands to either side of your waist and started to guide you through the crowd of people, avoiding reporters where he could and, where he couldn't, telling them he'd give them a proper interview later, but had somewhere to be at that moment. Most everyone you passed would clap him on the shoulder or shriek something that sounded congratulatory.
Eventually, you reached an empty hall, with large hardwood doors and, inside, marble pillars and polished stone floors. You looked around, amazed, you'd never been to this particular building before, but every room you'd gone into so far was a marvel in itself.
"I don't have long, shouldn't even be away from everything going on at all, but I couldn't resist seeing you any longer." Coryo admitted, face flushed as though this was a first date. You smiled gratefully at him.
"Thought I was going to die if I had to speak to anyone else from the Academy. I mean, how annoying is everyone we went to school with?" Coryo chuckled, approaching you and enveloping you in his arms. His suit smelled of roses, like always, and it calmed you so deeply that you wanted to stay that way forever, inhaling his scent and forgetting about every other responsibility you had.
"I'm sorry I left you with them for so long. Especially Livia, even Festus isn't as mad as she is." Coryo held you at an arms length and smoothed your hair affectionately. You leaned into his hand.
"She's certainly been a pleasure." You joked.
Coriolanus laughed and then, quickly, his lips were on yours, catching you off guard and making you smile against him. "Wanted to come and see you because I couldn't stop thinking about you." He explained, lips becoming rougher on yours by the second.
You knew exactly what he meant, as his hand squeezed your waist and he backed you into one of the pillars. "That car ride here, you're such a tease, and all for me, hmm?"
"All for you." You agreed, breathlessly.
"Such a bad girl, though. Getting me all riled up like that and not doing anything about it. Making me flustered, I was struggling to talk to people, just thinking about fucking you." His fingers ran from your cheek, down your neck and to your collarbone, which was exposed and red hot with arousal, "And you're so flushed, honey, makes me wonder if, maybe, you did this on purpose. Maybe you wanted me to think about it all day, wanted me to be pining for you, didn't you?"
You were quiet, just revelling in the way his rough fingers felt against your skin. Coryoâs voice hardened slightly, and the sense of authority had you sucking your bottom lip between your teeth. âAnswer me, sweetheart."
"I wanted you to think of me, Coryo." You reached out and brushed a stray curl from his forehead. âI love knowing you're thinking about me."
"Oh, baby, I'm always thinking about you." His eyes raked over your body and you suddenly felt naked under his gaze. âBut I think, after your little stint earlier, getting me so hard in the car and then having me walk through a crowd like that where you knew people would see, you need to be punished."
"Mm," You hummed. "And what would my punishment be, President Snow."
Coryo practically growled upon hearing you call him that, the power of it all, and he gripped you roughly by the back of the neck and slammed his lips onto yours, a clash of teeth and tongue, so rough, so hot. "I wasn't going to do this, but, I have to take care of this," He pointed to his clothed, but very obvious erection. "So, be a good girl and bend over that railing for me, will you?"
"What?" Your voice was blunt and your eyes wide. Never had Coryo asked you to do anything of the sort. You were all for commands in the bedroom, in the kitchen, even in the car, but he'd never been so public about it. "Coryo, there are so many people out there. Someone could walk in."
"I don't care, sugar, I'm the President now, remember?" His fingers had curled around your chin, tilting it upwards for you to look at him. âDon't you think it's my right to be able to fuck my wife wherever I please?"
You felt a wetness pooling between your legs at the sound of him calling you his wife, and at how horny he so obviously was, and so, slowly, seductively, you bent over the marble railing, overlooking a staircase and, below, another polished room. You pulled the skirt of your red, silk dress up past your thighs and over the curve of your ass, painfully slowly, never breaking eye contact with Coriolanus, who's mouth was hanging open and you could see his tongue gliding over his top teeth.
"That's it." He coed, positioning himself behind you and pushing your dress up even further, so that your waist and most of your back was on display now, too. He ran his hands over your exposed skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps behind. "That's my girl. If you're good, you'll get your reward later, yeah?"
"And what would my reward be?"
"I'll make you cum so many times you'll be seeing stars, darling, I promise." He bent over you, kissing your neck, âBut, for now, let me fuck you, and keep yourself quiet. Can you do that?"
You didn't honestly think you could, you never managed to, even when you pressed a hand to your mouth, bit down on his shoulder or your wrist, your neighbours were still more than able to hear your whimpers and moans. But you nodded, anyway, too excited by his proposal for later on. "Good." He gently moved your hair off of your back and pressed a kiss to the back of your neck. "Good girl."
He'd only unzipped his slacks and pushed your skimpy underwear to the side, but that was all he needed, and you were so wet that it made it easy for him to slide straight into you, both of your moans echoing around the hall as he did so.
The sounds of his skin slapping against yours, and your moans, muffled by the palm of your hand, were so ludicrous, here in this huge, pure white room, that it made the experience a hundred times hotter, in your opinion. "You'll be a good girl for me now, won't you? After I've filled you up, you'll be my perfect girl, hmm?"
"Yes, Coryo!" AÂ loud moan left your lips, which only lead Coriolanus to smack your ass once, something that he only did to warn you if you were getting too loud. "I'll be good, I promise."
He was bent fully over you, chest pressed against your back, cheek to your shoulder blade, and his lips being right at your ear had you getting close, every thrust of his hips, every whisper of your name or breathy moan, the way his hands continued to roam your body. "Coryo, I'm getting close." You whispered.
"Hold it. Didn't say you could cum, did I?" You began to protest, but he cut you off before you could even make your point, "You've been a bad girl, and you need to take your punishment seriously. Do you understand?"
You went quiet, the idea of him fucking you, getting you so close only to pull you back, had you lost for words. His hand found your neck, and he squeezed his fingers around it gently, making you cry out in pleasure, "I said, do you understand?"
"Yes! Yes, Coryo, I understand." You whined, "You feel too good."
"Gonna cum." He warned, and only a few seconds later, his hips stuttered against you and he stifled an especially guttural groan against your shoulder as you felt warm ropes of cum filling you up.
His whole body shuddered, and he pressed his face as far into your back as it could go, breathing heavily. When he pulled out of you, leaving you bent over the railing, throbbing and clenching around nothing, a few drops of cum dropped down your leg, and he felt his cock twitching just at the sight.
"It's taking everything in me not to make you cum right here, trust me, sweetheart." Coryo tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear when you finally managed to stand up - albeit wobbly - and then immediately began fussing over his own hair. "But you need to wait, you understand that, don't you? Need to prove to me you can be good."
"I will, Coryo." You helped him out with his hair, smoothing it gently. "Promise."
"Good girl." He helped you to pull your dress down and fix your underwear, and then pressed a kiss to your forehead. "I'll have to go back out there. Try not to murder Livia for me, okay?"
Coryo opened the door, so that you could both go and rejoin your respective parties, but your legs were shaking so badly you found yourself hardly able to stand, nevermind walk. Coriolanus smirked at this, watching you smugly.
He fixed out his suit jacket, and then leaned in for one last kiss. "I'll see you soon, okay?"
"See you soon, President Snow."

Something I've been working on in-between commissions. It's very rough but I wanted to finish it so I could move on to greater, other Deidara-centric artwork lol.
As an aside, if you dislike invertebrates (doubly so if you dislike spiders) please keep your comments to yourself. I understand arachnophobia is very prevalent but I myself keep spiders and am not interested in reading comments about harming them. Thank you.
Text transcription under read-more

Youâre laying with your back propped up against the headboard, fiddling mindlessly with your fingers while deep in thought. Youâve had a suspicion that he had been cheating on you for quite some time now, but somehow youâd managed to convince yourself otherwise.
Why was it bothering you so much now, you wonder? Because heâd called you by a different nickname. It wasnât unusual, but it was odd. Of course, it was something small. But even the way heâd walk out of the room to take a call (something heâd never done before), and then come back with a large smile on his face, utterly pleased with himself, was suspicious.
âBabe?â
Your head darts up to the doorway where Hyunjin is leaning against the door, hands folded over his chest. Heâs dressed and ready to go already.
âCanât you stay a while longer?â you ask hopelessly, already knowing what his answer will be. Doesnât matter that you just had sexâheâd leave immediately after. It sent a tidal wave of alarms off in your head that youâve been pushing down for god knows how long now, all because you want to believe that no, he wouldnât do that to you.
He smiles at you sadly, looking down at his combat boots before clearing his throat. âIâll be back tomorrow?â
You sigh, sliding out from under the covers to get dressed. Hyunjin watches you closely as you get dressed into your own clothes, choosing for the first time in forever to not wear something of his before you saunter close. With a hand on his shoulder, you stand on the tips of your toes to place a resigned kiss to his cheek.
âSee you tomorrow.â You smile sadly before turning back and sitting down in bed, hopping onto Twitter to distract yourself.
Hyunjin feels the guilt eating at him as he exits your apartment, shoving it down when he receives a picture of Olivia in lacy-black lingerie.
come over xoxo
Hyunjin bites his lip, looking dejectedly back at your door before heading to Oliviaâs house a few blocks away.
âââ
Itâs unsurprising when exactly four months later you see Hyunjinâs phone ding with a notification from Liviađ. You look at the bathroom door, steam emanating through the crack at the bottom while Hyunjin hums to some song he heard on the radio.
Biting your lip, you unlock his phone (you shared passwords when you moved in together) and check the message only to close your eyes quickly after seeing it. What person would ever feel comfortable sending pictures of them masturbating?
Hyunjin comes out of the shower whistling, stopping immediately with his hand gripping the towel around his waist. You look at him with a pissed smile and sad eyes.
âAll Iâve been wondering since I started suspecting was which one of us is the âother girlâ, in your world. The diamond versus the pearl. Whoâs the first and whoâs the fool? At this point I donât even wanna know.â You shove the phone into his chest, tears streaming down your face as he blunders, stumbling over his feet and his words to try and get you to stop and listen. He knows heâs too late by the determined shoving of your clothes into a travel bag, just wanting to get back to your apartment. Anywhere he isnât.
âY/N, pleaseââ
âDonât. Weâre over,â you spit, wiping your tears with the back of your hand before fumbling to unlock the door through your blurry vision. âIâll move your stuff.â

i almost took a bite out of my computer ur ragbros art is delicious (i love the way you personalise? them (for lack of better word), but also keep them recognisable)
thank you for the food đ
(and uhhhh bc this is supposed to be for requests, do you have any headcanons about the ragnvindr/alberich mothers and fathers? i'd love to see crepus and kaeya's father in your eyes)
Hello!! Thank you so much for this wonderful comment!! (And sorry for disappearing off the planet for a few daysâŠ) It really means a lot omg im melting
And I do have headcannons about the parents!!! Though it mostly revolves around the mothers bc I think there could be some really interesting stuff going on thereâŠ
So!! Here!!
Crepusâs and AlĆŸbetaâs (Elizabeth) relationship was extremely controversial within the Ragnvindr family. She was (a) a bit of a country bumpkin (b) poor and (c) Hailed from the southeast of mondstadt (aka mondstadtâs version of Eastern Europe and by default associated with snezhnaya and the fatui!!)
Due to this their marriage was mostly a secret, and not many people even know who she was and that she had a relationship with Crepus. Only a select few people know of Dilucâs Czechoslovakian* heritage.
Though she died when diluc was about 3-4, her language was passed on to diluc and kaeya through crepus, who had learned it out of love for herâ€ïž
Her being a member of the Hexenzirkel is very interesting to me but I havenât really been able to flesh it outđą
Diluc actually looks a lot more like his mother than his father, though you wouldnât notice because they are both dead because his bright red hair is the only marker people need to identify him as a Ragnvindr
Crepus frequently dealt with snezhnayan diplomats and traders, to his despise, but knew the importance of speaking their language, and made sure both of his sons spoke it (though kaeya did not really pick it up, diluc spoke it well and had mastered it during his âtripâ)
You will be disappointed to hear that I donât have many headcannons for kaeyas parents but I have a few!! Mostly revolving around mom though bc Iâm waiting for a bit more lore about his dad
Kaeyas parents both have abnormally pin straight hair, and this has proven to stand out against his peers and colleagues (for better or worse)
Kaeyas mother was very against him being sent out as a spy, but his father insisted
Livia disappeared after the events of Khaenri'ah, and is presumed dead, but itâs also very likely that sheâs laying low somewhere, and ~might~ have involvements with the hexenzirkle
I hope you enjoyed my brainrot anon!! Always so lovely to get comments and questions like these I love explaining things/loredumping!! Iâm probably gonna go in and do an actual design for both sets of parents so stay tuned for that!!
*I am aware that Czechoslovakia is not a country anymore!!! But since itâs not a country in this context (itâs a cultural/ethnic group) thereâs no real reason for a split

Successes, Loyalties, and Laurel Leaves
Coriolanus Snow x Reader
~Description~
âUnfortunately the girl never responded to his love. It was not usual or possible for a nymph or a mortal woman in Greek mythology to resist the love of a god, but Daphne did so and in fact, she lost her life trying to escape this love.â - The Myth of Apollo and Daphne.
~Warnings~
Rape/non-consent, loss of virginity, obsessive behavior, murder
Part 1: The Search
Coriolanus Snow.Â
Owner of the Plinth fortune.Â
Future Head Gamemaker.
And most importantly future President of Panem.Â
Coriolanus was finally home, studying under the wing of his professor Dr. Gaul. He had his ancestral home back in his custody. He had his family and power back.Â
Snow lands on top as alwaysâŠÂ
âŠBut he needed one more thing. He didnât desire it but he knew he would need one.Â
A wife.Â
One with good political standing. One that was dumb but not too insipid. He needed one that was interesting enough if he wanted to continue his career.Â
He first thought of Livia Cardew.Â
She and her pointed little face would make for a good First Lady. Even if she was a gloating little girl just like now. He watched as she smiled proudly probably at another âaccomplishmentâ she made. He continued to stare at her with a blank expression. Then he saw you and his expression, in the slightest, shifted.Â
He has never seen you before. He tried to pry his mind but never came up. Thatâs when he figured out you were new. He wouldâve known you because he kept tabs on anyone. He was for sure youâve never appeared in the capital before.Â
He made his way towards you, towards Livia who was already brushing you off like a toy she was done playing with.Â
âCoriolanus Snow,â Livia sighed as he drew close to her.Â
âLivia Cardew,â he said with a small bow and the most non-threatening smile he could come up with. It was quiet for a few seconds before Livia looked at you and finally remembered you were there.Â
âCoriolanus, this is my cousin.â
You did a small bow with a shy smile. You obviously werenât comfortable with the amount of people that were here which made Coriolanus think that you probably werenât around many people from whatever dwelling you came from.Â
He looked down at your dress. You wore a modest dress that couldâve been viewed as a hammy down if it was on anyone else. It was still pretty on you and hugged your figure in a good enough way he supposed.Â
âDid you just come to the Capitol?â Coriolanus asked.Â
You shook your head and then started talking, more mumbling and stuttering than talking. Â
âMy family has been here we have just been in hiding.âÂ
âYou make yourself sound so ominous,â Livia laughed crudely. âHer father thought it would be safer if she stayed home. Away from the troubles of Panem.âÂ
âYou must find yourself lucky then,â Coriolanus said with a stiff smile.Â
âNo, not quite. Mother thinks I needed to start meeting kids my own age. Itâs been a lot harder than I expected.â You were staring down at your shoes. Barely holding eye contact.Â
Coriolanus smiled. It was endearing the way you held yourself. Shy and quiet it was refreshing in a way. You were a quiet little bird waiting for something to make you sing. He would make you sing.Â
âWell, I hoped to see more of you. Youâll have to meet my cousin Tigris. She would honestly love you,â he said.Â
Finally, did you hold his stare. A smile bloomed on your lips. You were almost excited that someone invited you to something as simple as meeting a cousin.Â
A woman with a wrinkled face called your name. She looked elegant as she walked towards you. She smiled as she saw Coriolanus.Â
âMother,â you said as you kissed both of her cheeks.Â
âCoriolanus Snow,â the older woman bowed. âI see youâve met my daughter. Itâs a pleasure to meet you.âÂ
He saw the resemblance now. The same sweet smile and the same twinkle in your eyes.Â
âThe pleasure is all mine.â
âI fear we have to go now but please send us a letter. We would love to have you over,â Your mother chirped.Â
âOf course, have a good night to you both.â
He watched you as you walked off. He bid Livia farewell as well but he couldnât care to hold her stare. His eyes were on you.Â
Only you.Â
. . .Â
Coriolanus stared at you as you picked up a small budding rose. It was pink with shades of magenta near the top of the petals. He walked closer.Â
âThatâs a nice one,â he said. You jumped at the suddenness of his voice. âI didnât mean to scare you.â
âNo⊠itâs fine. I do that a lot. What brings you here?â You asked as, what seemed like, a coy smile etched onto your face.Â
âI like to walk around the gardens here. The roses are always so beautiful this time aroundâŠâ Coriolanus leaned over a bush and grabbed a white one. No imperfections. It was simple, pure, and perfect. âHere, this one is a nicer one.âÂ
âI couldnât⊠pa- my father doesnât like roses much and you picked it itâs too pretty for me,â you spoke in such a soft tone Coriolanus couldnât help but smile.Â
âItâs as pretty as you.â He said quietly but you heard all the same.Â
You shook your head.Â
âI-â
Coriolanus was close now. You could feel his hand take yours and then lay the rose on it.Â
âA beauty deserves to be shared.âÂ
âOf course,â you whispered.Â
Then he left without saying another word to you.Â
Part 2: The Hunt
Itâs been a couple of weeks since that encounter. Coriolanus couldnât help but think about how flustered you got when he called you pretty.Â
It was just too easy. You were going to be wrapped around his slender little finger.Â
Coriolanus could imagine it now. You on his arm. No, there was no need for Livia Cardew when you were right there. Pristine and perfect.Â
And Innocent.Â
He would have to fix that. You were unknowing of what this cruel world has to offer. He would show you slowly. Made sure not to scare you at first. Then he would show you everything you needed to know.
He was abruptly forced out of his little daydream of you when Dr. Gaul asked her question again.Â
âIf we canât control the districts what would need to be done?âÂ
Coriolanus pondered on that question.Â
Control.Â
His mind drifted towards you. If he couldnât control the districts then he would need to keep them in line. In check. Show them that no disobedience would be tolerated.Â
âPunishment,â it was all Coriolanus said.Â
Dr. Gaul smiled before shaking her head.Â
âA distraction. A moment of confusion. They need a sense of safety. When they feel safe. We pull it away. So they believe that they will need to earn it,â she said as she walked away from him. Her hands were politely behind her back, making her appear taller than she was.Â
âIf we punished them every time they acted out of line. We would have no choice back to exterminate their whole line. They need to be reliant on us for this to work.âÂ
Coriolanus thought about you again and then about what Dr. Gaul said. For this to work for him to own you. He would have to make you believe you were safe and then rip the safety out from under you.Â
It was a perfect plan.Â
. . .
You were pretty enough.Â
Too pretty for any boy around the capitol thatâs for sure. He thought as he stared at you. You all were in the garden. You were practicing how to braid on one of your little dolls. While Coriolanus was helping out with your mother tending to the new flowers she was putting in.Â
Sunflowers.Â
Your favorite apparently. Coriolanus wasnât really fond of sunflowers but it would have to do for the time being.Â
He knew that it was only a matter of time before you were going to be poked and prodded like a toy. You made your societal debut at the little party he first saw you at. He knew that he wasnât the only one that couldâve had his eyes on you.Â
Luckily for him, it wasnât hard for him to work his way into your family. They were grateful that a Snow was even graced in their presence.Â
He figured out his plan for marriage which wasnât a difficult one. Your mother practically saw him as a son and your father was adamant about him being at the house. He was already playing house with your family. All he needed to do was add you to the game as well.Â
He knew that step would involve your father.Â
Coriolanus stepped into the shade sweat was glistening on his back and his shirt was sticking to him. He could feel your eyes staring at him. You probably havenât seen any men other than your father. He would be the one to change that.Â
Because you were his.Â
No one elseâs just his.Â
He needed you to know that. To understand that. You were going to be his First Lady. The mother to his kids. The perfect, pristine Snow family.Â
The house of Snow would flourish with you as one of its heads.Â
He didnât need to know your personality, your dreams, or whatever aspirations you had because you were already destined to become his.Â
Yes, he barely knew you now but he will with time of course.Â
Coriolanus would bring you out. He would show you off to the world and then you wouldnât have to be learning how to braid on silly little dolls.
He drew closer to you and you shuffled a bit in your chair before huffing. It was quiet but he still heard the little noise come out of your mouth.Â
âWhat kind of braid are you practicing?â
You peered up at him.Â
âIâm practicing a fishtail braid. Livy wanted me to so I could do her hair for one of her parties,â you said as you put your focus back on your braid.Â
âHow sweet. Iâm sure she will like it. Youâre already quite skilled from what I can tell.â
âThank you, Mr. Snow.â
He chuckled at your formality. He was at your house often and you were still so formal with him. He smiled down at you before taking a seat in the chair next to you.Â
âMr. Snow-â
âPlease call me Coriolanus.â
âCoriolanus⊠what do you want from my family? Youâve been truly helpful but I just⊠I donât quite understand what we could even provide you for you want to help,â you said.Â
You stopped braiding altogether and stared at him. You met his eyes and for the first time, he saw the light in your eyes. You had fire. He smiled at you.Â
âWhat can I say? When I see people in need I feel inclined to help them,â thatâs all he said and then he left.Â
. . .
It wasnât that hard to make your parents love him. He was the best thing that ever happened to your family. He made their lives better while slowly making yours miserable. It seemed like they poured most of their time into him. You were being slowly shoved into the background.Â
All he needed now was you. To make you think youâre safe as well in his presence but for some reason. He could never find you alone.Â
Anytime you were out. You would only be there for a few minutes before you went back into the seclusion that was your room.Â
You kept yourself hidden. It made sense you were never in the presence of people your age, so you making yourself scarce was reasonable. What wasnât reasonable was not talking to him ever. After your small conversation that day you never spoke to him again.Â
He didnât really know why it was that way. He was mad at first. Angry even that you kept yourself hidden away. He was in your home 24/7. He had his own room and his own seat at your dinner table. Practically part of your family because of your trusting parents.Â
So he made an effort to find you. It was like a game of sorts. The hunt to find you throughout your own home.Â
Most of the time you were in your room but on the days he was lucky he would find you in the library. In a secluded area. You never figured out how he always seemed to find you. The answer was he was a watcher and you were his favorite thing to watch.Â
Anytime he did find you he would never speak just mimicked whatever you did until you left. He liked to see your reaction to it. How your face would drop at the sight of him. How your breathing would pick up when you were in the same room as him.Â
You were like a little bunny, hopping around the forest hoping the big wolf wouldnât find you. However, he always did because he never stopped the hunt.Â
He spotted you swiftly going up to the attic. It was perfect because no one would ever think to look up there for you.Â
He made his ascent to the attic. The place was old and dusty. It smelled of old books.Â
You were sitting looking out of the window. A small sniffle caught his ears. He smiled before turning it to a frown.Â
âWhatâs wrong?âÂ
You suddenly flinched and swiftly turned your head.Â
âWhat- why⊠what do you need?â You got up swiftly. âIâll leave.â
âDonât go on my account. Please. I heard sniffling. I just wanted to see if youâre alright.â
You turned your head in a moment of thought.Â
You shook your head.Â
âNo. Iâm not.â You sat back down, pulling your shawl over yourself. You faced the window. It was colder now. The blistering heat was finally over. Snow made its way through the windy streets of Panem.Â
âWhatâs bothering you?â He whispered stepping a bit closer in your direction but not too close to scare you away.Â
âItâs just⊠Iâve been alone my entire life and then finally the world is opened up to me. I have family outside of this home. A cousin my age. Other people who are my age are now known to me. But I still canât make friends. Iâm still so lonely.â
He was about to speak up but then you opened your mouth again.Â
âThen you showed up and kept showing up. You live here now. Youâre practically a family member, a brother I canât help but be⊠jealous, and angry even at the sight of you. My parents, they love me but not in the way they love you.â
He was quiet. You turned your head towards him. Tears were brimming in your eyes. You never notice how close he was now. He held his hand on your cheek causing you to flinch away. Still, he wiped your tears.
âYou donât have to feel like youâre alone now.â
âWhatâŠâ
A kiss was planted on your lips. He was kneeling and holding your face. Your lips were soft against his. Your cheeks were even softer as he held it.Â
It was like that for a couple of seconds minutes maybe before he felt a sharp pain on his lower lip that caused him to hiss out.Â
You were still as he stared at you. There was nothing on your face. No emotion.Â
You stood up and walked away. Coriolanus was quick to grab your hand but you were even quicker at pulling it out of his grasp.Â
He smiled as he touched his lips and stared at the blood that coated his fingers. You had a fire.Â
A fire he would like to restrain.Â
. . .Â
If Coriolanus were surprised that your father called him into the office the next day he was proud to say he wasnât. He expected it but what he didnât expect was that your father ask him to marry you.Â
âMy daughter⊠sheâs a sweet girl,â he mustered. âAnd she has such an interesting view of life.âÂ
Coriolanus remained silent as your father took a deep breath. Like he was about to ask something from him that was impossible.Â
âYouâve shown so many acts of kindness to our family but my wife and I were wondering if you would marry our girl. You wouldnât have to worry about her dowry.âÂ
And there it was. The groveling. He was going to marry you. You were going to be his. He was going to own you. Coriolanus didnât smile. He made sure not to. He gave thought to what his next words were going to be.Â
âSir, are you sure? I mean it would be an honor but-â
âPlease this is the only thing I can give you for being so generous to our family.âÂ
âThen, I graciously accept to wed your daughter she will know nothing but happiness,â Coriolanus smirked as your father brought him into a hug. It was as if the old fool was going to cry.Â
. . .Â
You stared at the floor or the attic. You came back for no reason other than to scream. Even then you couldnât do it.Â
You were angry that your parents foolishly believed this man who infiltrated your family. Your own home. Now he was coming for you.Â
You had a small inkling but you didnât want to believe it. It was a foolish thought, a dumb idea that you thought was self-absorbed. It wasnât. You were right. Someone out there did want you but in a sense of owning you.Â
You knew the kind of person Coriolanus Snow was. You didnât know the world well enough to make sense of why people do the things they do. But even you could read Coriolanus Snow. Â
You balled your hands into fists. You were leaving tonight.Â
And no one was stopping you.Â
You walked down to your room. You made sure to pack some the night before. The night they told you about your marriage to the man who snaked his way into your family.Â
You started to cry and you got even more upset. You needed to pull yourself together but this was too much. Running away from home. You could possibly go to Livyâs. Hide in her bedroom for a few days then try to get onto a train that left for one of the districts maybe. It was a good plan in your mind. You still had a lot to learn about this new darker world you lived in.Â
âWhat are you doing, wife?âÂ
You flinched at the sound of his voice. You wanted to laugh at the word wife but you couldnât. You couldnât even move. You turned around and saw the way his eyes stared down at you like you were a spoiled brat not getting her way.Â
âI⊠I am leaving. We are not married yet.âÂ
âI mean we practically are married. I played house with your family and they see me as a son.â
âYouâre the stranger.â
âBut itâs almost like youâre more the stranger than me⊠barely coming out of your room. Hiding yourself away from your own family. Your own future husband. Itâs sad.â
You stared at the ground clutching your sweater to your chest. Tears made their way down your cheeks. Coriolanus was nose to nose to you.Â
âI thought you said you didnât like being alone. Now youâre not alone. You have me.â
âNo,â you said as you shook your head. âNo!â
You pushed him off only for you to shove you down onto your bed. You gasped as he smacked your face when you tried to get up again. You blinked once twice several times before you gained your sight back.Â
âIâll scream.â
âScream then but you may find that no one is home. Lucky for me. Unlucky for you, little bird.â
You started sobbing outright. You couldnât stop. Coriolanus shoved you back down onto your back every time you made your way up.Â
âI always wanted to tear you out of one of your dresses. They never quite find your style. We can fix that when we are wedded.â He smiled at you. The toothy grin spooked you. You had never seen this smile before and it terrified you.Â
He did what he said he wanted to you and tore off your dress. You fought him the hardest you could. But it proved to be in vain. He was strong. Much stronger than you thought.Â
Buttons flew off your dress as he tore the rest of it off. Your stockings along with your underwear were next. You screamed as he shoved his fingers into you without care.Â
His fingers felt like sandpaper as they thrust into you. It was excruciating till finally, your entrance was slick enough for his fingers to smoothly slip in and out.Â
When you saw his fingers you gasped at the small bits of blood that coated them. Fresh tears made their way down your cheeks.Â
You called out for your mother and Coriolanus laughed. He brought his fingers that coated you to his mouth. He moaned at the taste and smiled.Â
âWant a taste?â
You shook your head and he chuckled before shoving them into your mouth. His spit and your blood were what you tasted. When you started to choke on his fingers he finally pulled them out.Â
âSo sweet are you not?â
You felt him pull away from you and your body felt light. It didnât register that he was off of you until you heard his clothes being thrown on the floor and the agonizing zip of his pants. You turned on your stomach and crawled to the other side of the room. He was quick to grab your ankle tightly.Â
âWhere did you think youâre going, little bird?â
âPlease. Please I donât want this,â you cried into your sheets.
âYouâll be okay. You need to get used to this anyway if youâre to be my wife,â he quietly said into your ear.Â
âThen spare me until the wedding night. I canât do this now.âÂ
He was quiet like he was considering it.Â
âNo.â
The fight was back on you kicked at him and tried your best to push him off but to no avail.Â
He was on you now. Legs were placed on either side of your naked thighs. You looked up at him as he held your wrists down.Â
He smiled softly at you it looked as if it was genuine. You sobbed even harder at it.Â
Coriolanus opened your thighs wide with his. He placed them on his waist. His eyes demanded that you looked into this as he licked his hand and rubbed the tip of his painful thick cock.Â
The first thing you felt was a sharpness. It was like someone was stabbing you but it was only him shoving himself into you.Â
He moaned loudly as he bottomed out in you. He licked the tears that made their way down your face. It made you feel weird. You felt the intrusion become smoother, and easier as he brought himself in and out of you.Â
His moans were the only thing you could hear and your whimpering. Both of them combined made you want to stay silent. As if you werenât here.Â
âYouâre being so perfect, little bird,â he said with a grin that you could never forget.Â
You were in a daze but you found that both of your hands were free you immediately started to slap and scratch at him. He screamed out to you as you tried your hardest to get free. He slapped you hard this time and held his hands around your throat.Â
You held his hands and tried to pull them off of you. You got too lightheaded and too weak. And as if whatever above was punishing you. You felt the coil turning throughout your stomach. It was setting you on fire. Your whole body got hot. You were overheating. Then in a flash, as he thrusted into you harshly you screamed so loudly you thought your voice cords would burst out of your throat.Â
You fainted from the loss of air and from whatever you just experienced.Â
You woke up to find yourself on the bed you looked down to see the mess in between your legs. Blood and sticky white coated your thighs.Â
You could feel the bile rise in your throat. The next thing you knew was throwing up in the trash next to your bed bits of blood were in your spit. You couldnât bring yourself to care. You got up you didnât even know how your legs were holding you up but you were firmly on the ground.Â
You stared around the room. He wasnât in there but you felt as if he was still inside you. You rushed over to your closet throwing on whatever you could find and then to your dresser. You grabbed the cash that you hid there long ago.Â
Shoes were the next thing you put on. You carefully opened the door. You could hear the shower next door. That was your sign to run as fast as you could out of the house and you did just that. Running as fast as you could. As fast as your legs could carry you. When you finally got away from the vicinity of the house you counted the money that was on you. Nearly a thousand dollars was in your possession. You could get onto the next train to anywhere. You didnât know how the trains worked but you were going to get out of there one way or another.Â
You didnât know where you were going you didnât even know where you were. The place was confusing to you. It all looked the same and yet different.Â
You felt a shove and you were on the road.Â
Then a car came and you forgot the rest.Â
Part 3: The Tree
Coriolanus didnât mean to kill you. He just wanted to hurt you enough that you wouldnât try this stupid attempt at escape again. He was angry and wanted you to hurt as much as he was. He was fond of you. Sure he couldâve been more gentle but he was as gentle as he could be.Â
He stared at you as people made their way to help you.Â
In a darker light⊠you look so much more beautiful like this. Dead and silent just as you were basically before. Your eyes had paled some. There was no longer that sad shine in your eyes anymore.Â
You looked like you were sleeping with your eyes open. Still and unmoving. A part of him hoped you were still there. Still breathing but to be completely honest. It was better this way. Untouched by the harsh reality of Panem. They wouldâve eaten you out there.Â
And if he couldnât have you then no one couldâve. Itâs a wasteful thought yes. But You were just too perfect...Â
This way only he would be the one to remember you as you were. The girl who refused to be loved. He stared down taking note of what you were wearing.Â
You were in your motherâs white dress. The color reminded him of the white rose you gave you months ago. The dirt made it so brown and ugly. He wishes to give you a better dress as people pull you from the road. Maybe your parents would let him choose your dress.Â
He walked back to your home. Getting rid of any evidence that was there. He gave it all to Pluribus. He told him that he would have it done with.Â
When your parents figured out the news your mother sobbed like there was no tomorrow. Of course, Coriolanus needed to be the one who was the most grief-stricken. He was the one to marry you of course. He knew you for a good several months. Many people believe he loved you. He gained so much sympathy from the citizens of Panem.Â
Livia Cardew was upset as well. She got closer to Coriolanus. She would be a fit for his wife after all.Â
He laughed bitterly as he stared at the tree your parents decided to bury you under. A laurel tree. Your father decided on it because it was your supposed favorite tree.Â
At least you didnât die like Lucy Gray. Unknown and unloved.
You were loved, just not by Coriolanus SnowâŠÂ
He smiled as he touched the branches of your tree with Livia on his arm. Livia hugged him close and he could only grin as he stared at your laurel tree. It was snowing, a beautiful flurry, just like the night you ran away.Â
Snow lands on top. Coriolanus thought.
It most certainly does.
Epilogue.
Coriolanus Snow.
President of Panem.Â
He stared down at the flag that he wanted to upgrade. The old one was too bland for his new regime. He needed one that showed power and called for obedience.Â
The designer did well with the new version of the flag but it felt as though it was missing something important.Â
Snow thought of the Laurel tree your father buried you under.Â
The laurel leaves, your laurel leaves would be the symbol of Panem and a reminder of what you decided you didnât want.Â
He smiled as he thought of you and your leaves.Â
You were going to look so beautiful on his new flag.Â

Can you explain why most ferals have skinny black eyelids but captive birds have white or skin toned eyelids
That's pretty much natural selection at its finest.
I have seen a bit of research on the pattern of city pigeons and how it tends towards darker colors, and the general consensus is just that it does.
My observation of feral populations has led me to believe that it's a product of predation.
Pigeons' primary predators are accipiter hawks and falcons. (Raptor folks, please correct me if these should not be differentiated, or if my spelling is incorrect!)
Barred and barn owls will also hunt them at night.
The ten or so local feral populations I am familiar with forage primarily in strip mall and gas station parking lots, which are paved black.
Pigeons have four different pattern genes.
Blue Bar is the Rock Dove Wild type.
There are a few different subspecies of Columba livia.
This is C. livia targea.
C. livia palistinae
C. livia canariensis
Note fow fine featured the face of a wild Rock dove is compared to
a domestic feral from a continent that has never seen wild Rock Doves.
Normally, wild type coloration is dominant over everything else.
But in their domestication, Rock Doves were interbred a few times with Spectacled Pigeons:
From these, came both the Checker and T-check patterns, and very likely the Ash Red base color, all of which are dominant over the Rock Dove's blue bar.
They also got the genes for a big, thick cere around the eye.
Cheeto has the same t-pattern as the Spectacled pigeon above.
He's not from the local flocks.
Here are all the birds I've had who are:
Shadow: Blue Bar, expressing the darkening modifier called Dirty.
Coal and Orion: Checkers
Coal is expressing Dirty and Sooty.
Orion is expressing neither.
Panther: T-check, expressing Dirty, Sooty, and smoky
Fiona: Blue Bar
Licorice: T-check, Dirty, Smoky, and Sooty
Pierce: T-Check
Archie: T-check
Bridget: T-check
Pete: Blue Bar
Masnud: blue Bar
T-check is dominant over all four patterns.
Checker is recessive to t-check, but dominant over bar and barless.
Bar is recessive to t-check and checker, but dominant over barless.
Barless is recessive to everything.
So, on the one hand, the darkest pattern is dominant.
But
Ash Red, like lost homer Charlie here,
Is dominant over blue.
So why don't you see this dominant color absolutely everywhere in feral flocks like you do T-check and Checker?
My bet is because it's the easiest to pick out of a crowd and see against the blacktop.
Blue bar is easier to see than T-check or checker, but it's a recessive gene, so it can still crop up in a feral population even if all of the breeding adults are t-check or checker.
But Ash Red being dominant means that: once every bird expressing it visibly is picked off for being too easy to see, the gene is wiped completely out of the population.
The long and short of it is: the darker the feather pigment, the darker the skin pigment tends to be.
And darker feathers are harder for hawks to see over black top and harder for owls to see under a bridge or in an eve or overhang.
A predator will always take the easiest prey, so the prey animal that is harder to catch by any means or degree is the one that survives to raise offspring.
Pigeons in human care, despite being the same species, simply do not have the pressure of predation shaping their color, builds, or behavior.
Their care takers breeding program shapes them.
And humans tend to find contrasting colors and interesting shapes aesthetically pleasing.

TBOSAS on Crack short take (47)
Felix: Hey, guys, please settle down and listen to me-
Clemensia: Class Pres, why is your hair bubblegum pink today?
Felix: Well, Clemmie, thatâs a funny story. You see, a certain someone happened to steal my very expensive Ravinstill exclusive shampoo and replaced it with pink hair dye-
Androcles: It wasnât me! I swear on my motherâs cooking that it wasnât-
Felix: Andie, your mother doesnât cook.
Androcles: Oh, yeah.đ
Coryo: Letâs just go straight to the point, Class Pres.
Felix: *sighs* Fine. So Iâve gathered everyone here to discuss our upcoming PTA meeting this Friday-
Hilarius: PTA meeting?! With my father?! Class Pres, Iâm not sure about that-
Felix: Calm down, Heavensbee! Your creepy old man is not even allowed to go near our school.
Urban: True. He canât even go near us without Dean Highbottom calling the Peacekeepers-
Hilarius: You donât understand! My old man will try to sneak into that meeting either way!đ«
Coryo: Well, if he does, we can always call the President to punish him indefinitely-
Urban: Or strangle him ourselves for the greater good of Panem-
Hilarius: Hey!đ
Urban: Just saying~.
Sejanus: Iâll protect you from that creep, my Coryo, my love!đ
Coryo: Sure, Babe. Whatever you say.
Io: By the way, Hilari, how many restraining orders does your father have?
Hilarius: 42-
Felix: Itâs 77 and counting. But anyway, Dean Highbottom told me to list down the parents who would be attending our PTA meeting this Friday. So-
Livia: Obviously, my ever fabulous mama will represent thee~!đđ
Pup: Meh Daddy~!đ
Felix: Stop saying âdaddyâ like that, Pup.
Florus: Both or none. Depends on my crazy dadâs mood.
Dennis: Sorry~. My mama canât attend this week. Sheâs too busy running the Capitol black market and trading illegal magazines with Cardewâs mom-
Livia: You lying little shi-
Felix: How about you, Urban?
Urban: Same with Florus.
Felix: And the rest?
Io: Both will come as usual~.đ
Arachne: My pushover big brother will represent me as always.
Androcles: My mama and her camera crew-
Felix: Andie, weâve talked about this issue before. Your mother canât bring her camera crew to our PTA meetings again-
Androcles: Theyâll pay everyone 20 bucks for a feature.
Festus: Free money?!
Coryo: Free money!!
Persephone: I love money!
Dennis: Oh, yes~. Mah money~.đ
Felix: Fine! But this is the last time-
Gaius: Class Pres, can my crazy grandmother attend for me?đ„ș
Felix: The one who fought and defeated the rebels with a giant toothpick?
Gaius: Pretty please?
Felix: Sure. Sheâs a war hero.
Palmyra: Can my unhinged mama and her delicious pies-
Felix: No. Next.
Hilarius: My father-
Felix: Heâs banned. Next.
Hilarius: My mother-
Felix: Sheâs banned too. Next.
Vipsania: My gym instructor-
Felix: Nope. Next.
Lysistrata: My drug- I mean, medicine dealer?
Felix: For legal reasons, no. Next.
Iphigenia: The pizza delivery guy next door-
Felix: Not a parent. Next.
Domitia: My emotional support cow-
Felix: Too hairy. Next.
Apollo: My imaginary friends-
Felix: Not real. Next.
Diana: My cute stuffed animals.đ„ș
Felix: Sure. Why not.
Apollo: Thatâs not fair-
Felix: Next!
Coryo: Iâll bring my cousin Tigris. But if Highbottomâs drunk, Iâll summon the ghost of my gorgeous dead dad instead.
Sejanus: My Ma will represent!
Coryo: Will she bring food?đ„ș
Sejanus: Always, Babe. Always~.đ
Coryo: I might kiss you right now-
Lysistrata: Kiss him, Coryo! Kiss him!
Coryo: Not now, Lizzie!
Felix: How about you, Creed?
Festus: My whole familyâs going.
Sejanus: The whole Creed Clan?!
Festus: Yup! Free food is free food.
Pup: Especially when Ma Plinthâs the one cooking it.đ€€
Juno: Well, whatever, peasants. My royal daddy will represent for me as usual~.đđ
Urban: Nobody asked you, Juno~.đ
Juno: Suck a di-
Felix: How about you, Clemmie? Is your dad going too?
Clemensia: Depends~. If my mom wins their annual wrestling match, then sheâll be the one attending-
Vipsania: Wrestling match? What kind?
Clemensia: Do you truly want to know, Sickle?đ
Vipsania: Yes-
Felix: Nope. We donât wanna know about that, Clemmie.
Persephone: Well, I think my old man-
Coryo: Wasnât Nero Price banned from the school grounds last year?
Persephone: My dad was banned?!
Coryo: Yes.
Persephone: What for?!
Felix: Cannibalism allegations.
Persephone: Thatâs a lie-
Coryo: He literally almost bit off Highbottomâs foot when he found out about the Heavensbee Hall Flooding Incident.
Persephone: He did that to defend me!
Felix: He also bit Professor Clickâs hand-
Persephone: He was hungry!đ
Coryo: And stole all of Ma Plinthâs ham sandwiches from her body bag.
Persephone: To be fair, my daddy thought that there was a literal dead body inside her bag-
Felix: Still banned. Next.

(HEY! this is the second part to The President, part 3 will be out soon so plssss stay tuned, hope u luv it, luv you, bye) (requests r open! send me stuff here)
-
âWhere did you go?"
Clemensia snatched your arm and stopped you in your place. You'd been trying to ignore all of the girls, weaving your way in and out of the crowd, accepting the odd congratulations or hug as you went, you thought you might find Tigris and stick by her until at least dinner time. You wanted nothing more than to be at home.
"Oh." You started but stopped short. If you even stuttered you knew she'd know, your legs were shaking and, if she looked at you closely, she'd be able to see that your hair wasn't nearly as smooth as it was an hour ago, and your lipstick had smudged over your chin and you'd spent longer than you should've trying to wipe it off. "Just had a few photos to be taken, Coryo wanted them out of the way."
Clemensia turned you to face her, gripping your forearms as she eyed you suspiciously. You held your breath a moment, she wasn't the type to keep her mouth shut. "Of course. Photos."
She was smirking at you, and you nearly hung your head in shame out of pure instinct. You teetered backwards slightly in your heels, and Clemensia barely stifled a laugh. "Did these photos involve you being bent over something?"
"Clemmie!" You burst out, hands clamping over your mouth, cheeks burning red. And then you couldn't help but laugh. "Don't say anything, please."
"I won't!" She laughed and took hold of your hand, starting to lead you back towards the rest of your school friends. âI didnât say anything when youâd disappear for every free hour we had in school, did I?â
âClemensia!â
Okay! I wonât say anything. Promise. It's your day, and Coryo's President now. I canât say anything."
You laughed as you approached the other girls, Clemmie was your friend, as much as you hated to admit it, and you did actually like spending time with her, after you got over the initial idea of it. The other girls, however, were a different story.
"Where did you guys go?" Lysistrata whined when you rejoined the circle. She wasnât the worst of the bunch, but, god, could she moan about anything. "Felix had an interview and they basically said that he actually would've won, had Doctor Gaul's vote not counted-"
"Well, her vote did count." Clemensia defended and sent you a small smile. "Why dwell on it, Lyssie?"
"Because it's unfair." Livia practically snarled, lip curled upwards like a growling dog. "Coriolanus will be president until he either steps down, or dies off. And we all know he won't step down, so none of us will even have a chance at it."
"You wouldn't have a chance at anything anyway, Livia. Festus is a slob." You snapped. You'd remembered why you so hated going to school, and then University with these girls. Livia especially always seemed to bring out the worst in you. You heard Clemensia sigh, and Lysistrata sucked in a breath to be held.
Livia looked as though she was about to lunge for you. "He is not a slob!" She threw her hands in the air and started to say something else, when Clemensia butted in, to avoid a public argument between two powerful men's wives.
"Ladies!" She held her arms out between the two of you in a calming manner, and you almost scoffed and walked away from them, but you knew you had to be here. For Coryo, you thought. "Let's just all be friends, okay? You managed it for seventeen years before today, you can certainly last another two hours."
"Oh, look!" Lysistrata pointed excitedly at the grand hall, drawing the attention of the conversation to something else entirely. "I think we've to go for dinner, now. Aren't you all excited? It'll be lovely."
You were definitely excited. The University provided three square meals a day, if you stayed long enough - you always did - but, since you'd graduated, it had been back to Tigris' cabbage soup and the occasional luxury like a loaf of bread or some beef mince, if Coriolanus helped Doctor Gaul with something she believed warranted an extra payout. The food was guaranteed to be something special, and, even better, you could leave your school friends behind for at least an hour and sit by Coryo instead.
An avox appeared by your small group, and gestured for you all to follow them, leading the gathering of wives to the dinner hall first. Clemensia, Livia, and Lysistrata were positioned at a table together, each one chair apart from the other, and you almost laughed out loud when Livia's scowl deepened further and Clemmie sighed disappointedly at her space between the other two.
After seating the three other women, the avox gestured for you to follow them even further, to a long, rectangular table overlooking a sea of smaller round ones. The hall really was magnificent, all marble and hardwood, a string quartet playing in the far corner, and Coriolanus' Grandma'am's roses decorating each table, in small glass vases. You smiled at the touch, assuming it was Tigris' doing, Coryo would love it.
"Thank you." You nodded to the avox as they tapped a chair for you to sit in. The table was laid with a white tablecloth and lace runner, and six plates, with dainty little place cards placed neatly atop them. The ones on either side of you read Tigris Snow and President Coriolanus Snow. You assumed the one next to Coryo would've been for the Grandma'am and the other two chairs for other government officials.
The room started to fill up with people, celebrities, guests, reporters, game makers. You tried to make out anyone familiar in the sea of people, but faces blurred into one another, distant chatter became almost deafening, and you found that, not only could you not decipher one person from another, but you'd given yourself a headache trying to do so.
The chair beside you pulled back, startling you from your squint-eyed staring, and then Tigris appeared, beaming and touching a hand to your shoulder. "He did it!" She cried and you embraced, squealing as you did so.
âI know.â You mused. âDid you do the roses?â
Tigris nodded, a satisfied smile crossing her face. âYes, do you like them? I thought itâd be nice, something familiar.â
âTheyâre beautiful, heâll love them.â You plucked one of the stems from the vase in front of you, inspecting the perfect flower, so familiar. Youâd always loved the Grandmaâamâs roses, almost as much as Coryo did.
You were only able to talk for a moment, Tigris complimenting the way you'd done his hair, you gushing over his suit. You loved Tigris, really. But the national anthem began playing, and then there were cameras on you both and you tried to remember to sit up straight and keep your chin down.
The entire room erupted into cheers and claps and cries as Coriolanus entered, looking dazzling as ever. You even noticed Livia giving a hand, which sent a sense of satisfaction through you. "There he is! Our brand new President, it's Coriolanus Snow!" Lucky Flickerman had appeared out of nowhere again, and you could just hear him over the sound of the crowd. "And he's making his way over to his gorgeous first lady! I heard they've only been married three days."
You stifled a laugh at Lucky's overly dramatic performance, and then you felt almost self conscious, seeing all of the people looking towards you, the cameras pointed in your direction. Tigris touched a gentle hand to your arm to soothe you, and you just about managed a grin as Coryo approached.
He sat down next to you and you found his hand placed on the small of your back, thumb rubbing soothing circles just beside your spine. You let out a sigh of relief and smiled until the cameras turned away and the starting course of the meal served. "That was good, darling." Coryo spoke quietly. "Are you okay? You seem nervous."
"I am nervous." You turned toward him and placed a hand on his knee. "I'll get over it, though. First day jitters."
"Of course you will." And then he leaned down to whisper in your ear, hand creeping up your thigh under the cover of the tablecloth. "What do you think I could do to calm you down, hm?"
"Coryo." You hid a small smile and wrapped your fingers around his wrist. "People are watching."
"All the more fun." You turned to face him, noticing the half-concealed grin playing on his lips. Your eyes flickered out towards the crowd and cameras, guests were all chattering and eating, but the cameras stayed put, and Lucky continued his constant commentary of you. You imagined him, broadcasting to the entirety of Panem, that the brand new President was fingering his wife at the dinner table.
Coryo's hand wandered up even further, underneath your skirt, into your underwear. You sucked in a breath and made a sort of uncomfortable grunt, biting back a whine as two familiar fingers pressed into you. You gripped onto the tablecloth and Tigris turned to you, concern in her eyes. "Are you okay?" She asked and you nodded, too enthusiastically.
"I'm okay." You answered, but you knew your face wasn't communicating what you said, and Tigris' hand was pressed to your forehead before you could tell her again.
"You're hot, have you drank enough water today? And you're flushed, too-" Tigris was in the middle of pouring some water into the glass in front of you when Coryo cut in.
"She's okay, Tigris." He smiled at his cousin. "Wasn't feeling too well last night, were you, love?"
You shook your head, trying to act convincing while Coriolanus' fingers continued their assault inside of you. "Oh, honey! Well, get some rest tonight, okay?"
And then Tigris had turned back to her conversation with the Grandma'am, and you made a mental note to continue the narrative that you were sick, at least in front of Tigris. And then you noticed that Lucky was staring right at the two of you, massive grin on his face, as always, and the camera beside him was fixated on your table.
"Coryo, the cameras!" You hissed, but he silenced you, curling his fingers against your sensitive spot. You made another strangled sound, but Tigris didn't turn around this time, too invested in conversation with the Grandma'am.
"Shh," Coryo comforted you, nuzzling his forehead against your cheek in a way that could've been mistaken for a loving gesture for the cameras. "Let them see, honey. Just be quiet for me. My good girl."
He curled his fingers faster inside of you, so that you had to clamp your hand on your thigh to stop your legs from shaking aggressively, every now and again he'd lean down and say something like, "You're doing so well." or "So good for me." and your head would spin.
"Coryo," You whispered, a breathy moan falling from your lips, almost loud enough for everyone at the table to hear. "I'm getting close, you know how loud I get."
Dessert was being served, now, and you were almost glad that the avoxes didn't have tongues, because you were certain that the one placing your lemon tart in front of you had made a strange face whilst doing so.
Coryo's fingers brushed your sensitive spot once again, and you felt his hand on your back as it arched off of the chair, dimming the appearance of your arousal to the public. "I know. Not going to let you finish, not yet."
He pressed a short kiss to your temple and then pulled his fingers out of you, at which you huffed and pouted, he felt his cock throb, seeing you looking so bratty.
"Coryo!" You whined, bottom lip still jutting out. "That's not fair."
"Isn't it?" He asked, smirk playing on his face. He made you watch as he looked you straight in the eye, lifted his fingers to his lips - still glistening with your slick - and sucked them clean. "Mmh, so sweet, my girl. Now, I want you to go home, familiarise yourself with the mansion - you'll love it, by the way - and wait for me to get there. No touching yourself, you know the punishment for that."
A small smile grew on your face as you nodded. Coryo kissed your face, picked up your dessert fork and handed it to you, gesturing to the food in front of you. As you took your first bite, he slid his own across to the Senator sat next to him. The larger man looked at him with confusion in his eyes.
