If he wasn't talking about the ocean or his job, Hinata was pretty quiet so he found himself sitting there, desperately searching for something to talk about that wouldn't only be his job. grace knew that she was pathetic. yet that didn't stop the thought from creeping in the way it did. she knew that most people understood her situation. how she had ended up back home after losing her husband. plus with her career it didn't make sense to keep renting a place. she had been gone for a month and now had a good block of time off. after a full two days of sleep she finally emerged and decided to make herself useful. she was in the process of washing the dishes and the house was quiet. she barely even remembered that her brother had a friend over. honestly she was still playing catch up due to having been in a different country just days ago. plus she was attempting to avoid the fact that he was there given what had happened her last night home. she inhaled sharply as she heard footsteps and glanced up," aren't you supposed to be watching whatever cheesy horror flick my brother was rambling about?"
