If he wasn't talking about the ocean or his job, Hinata was pretty quiet so he found himself sitting there, desperately searching for something to talk about that wouldn't only be his job. Sometimes he felt obsessed with it so he was trying to pick up hobbies and get out more. It was torture. "Ummm... you wanna get ice cream or something?"

Even if Iris was on a little...hiatus, from her job back in New York, it didn't mean she'd lost her desire to create. She still went everywhere with her sketchbook, ideas always tumbling through her head--like now. She'd snagged herself one of the tables in the crowded cafe, sipping on her latte as she shaded out a dress design, little notes scribbled along the edges of fabric and color ideas when she felt a shadow come over her. "You can totally take the extra chair! I'm going to be heading out soon anyways."

He had been surprised when Willa had told him she was dating someone, always figuring she would be too busy to make time for it. But he had been happy to see her go for it and getting to know Grace had been a lot of fun for him. She was a known favorite of his and he found himself always hoping that two of them would work both for Willa’s sake and his chances to hang out with Grace. “Should I be worried that you’re treating me to dinner? "i'm ready," stated grace the moment that the kiss broke. she had been gone for what felt like forever. of course her work did mean a lot of travel which was why it had taken so long. she had no idea if rosalie even still wanted her. she couldn't have blamed her but she merely wanted one last kiss," i just-i get it if you don't want this or me, if you've found someone else." it wouldn't have surprised her but she just had to make her feelings be known," i know it wasn't fair for me to ask you to wait and that i should have dealt with my feelings before this but i never thought i'd find someone so fast."

she had no idea why she had even agreed to this whole thing in the first place. it almost seemed childish to her to have a friend stay the night. yet there they were after having watched some random movie on netflix. she had wanted to stay up but exhaustion had won out. they had, had a few drinks before they had decided to relax in bed. she had passed out way sooner than expected. she had tossed and turned which had tugged her tank top aside. something that happened whenever she slept in them. a startled gasp escaped from her when she realized she felt pressure and then the drag of a tongue against one of her nipples. something that caused her to moan even if she was half asleep, trying to blink to let her eyes adjust. the only light was coming from the netflix are you watching screen? she gasped upon realizing just what she was feeling," wh-what's going on?"

"I can't believe you aren't going to dish with me." Luciana pouts playfully. "You know I'm one of the best people to hear all about the stuff going on." She teases as she reaches out to grab the box of pizza when they call their name. She looks at her from over her shoulder. "And all I have to show for my work is my clients and myself eating pizza on a Friday night."

"Well I don't want to jinx it, actually I'm still on the fence on allowing myself to actually enjoy it instead of fighting against my emotions." Gracie admitted with a shrug of her shoulders as she toyed with her phone in her hands before slipping it back into her back pocket. "Thank you, it's been a long work in progress but I'm getting somewhere finally."

it felt like they were crossing that one fine line that tipped the scales. grace knew that she should have merely told murphy to have a good night. instead she was blushing as they joined her in the room," mhm." things would become messy if they kept things up. that wasn't stopping her from falling into them. the door was closing and grace found herself being pressed against the nearest wall. a small gasp escaped and she couldn't help but laugh," i didn't think answering the door totally naked would be a good idea." a gasp came from her as murphy's lips pressed to the curve of her neck. her hands were reaching to attempt to push their shirt up," but it would make a statement."

crossing the threshold into grace's room really sealed the deal for murphy, that they weren't the greatest person in the world. in fact, their morals were definitely skewed but all was fair in love and war, right? "i'm known for my good timing," they teased, which was only true in a music sense. definitely not when it came to real life things. murphy left a few broken hearts in their time, but they couldn't help it. pretty things distracted them. though, he hadn't seen anything prettier than grace. as the door closed behind them, they didn't hold back anymore, gripping her waist and pressing her to the closest wall. "nice robe," they uttered before attaching their lips to her neck.
