This one really obvious lip glance Mike does at the roller rink WASNT RANDOM.

When Will admits that El’s been lying to him, Mike calls bs, and then Will NUDGES HIM. He does it when he says “no listen to me” but his hand is offscreen. It’s very subtle but I swear u can literally see Mike shake like Will grabbed his arm and shook it a bit to get his attention.

That’s what that look was, it wasnt a completely random lip glance from Mike, it was cause Will shook him. Mike was defensive at first, calling bs, but then Will touches him and suddenly the defense is down and he believes him. His tone of voice completely changes and everything.

Something something Will has a tendency to nudge Mike like that during all their arguments where they aren’t seeing eye to eye and Mike is getting defensive. Something something Mike has picked up on that and now takes that as a sign that Will is being serious and he needs to slow down and listen to him. Something something theyre such a good team even when theyre arguing.

I'm never getting over how well they captured wills emotional state in season 4 with this figure

i know people have been saying this (i've also been saying it for years) but i 10000% believe that if will was a girl, EVERYONE would realize that byler is superior to mileven. they would see that mike and will have undeniable chemistry and they wouldn't say "can't people just be friends" (a thing people only say when it's a queer ship) or "why do you have to make everything gay" or "they're just friends" (are friends electric guys??). general audiences are way more likely to notice chemistry between a girl and boy than a boy and a boy. it has to spelled out very obviously apparently because they have no media literacy, unlike byler who has been built up more subtly. byler is a big example of this because everyone is so blind when it comes to them.

if will was a girl and NOTHING else changed, the lip glances, the blushing, the flirting, etc... even milevens would know that they were building something up between mike and will. it's internalized homophobia (or just outright homophobia with some people) that's keeping people from seeing the light!

anyway, all of this to say, byler is endgame 💙💛

Genuinely wondering why the GA and milkvans always disregard Byler proof that is waved right in front of their faces. The lip glances are NOT ‘an accident’. Mike and Will having the last heart to heart in the show is not ‘simple dumb luck’ (haha see what I did there?). Mike and Will being placed in between two canon couples while El stands alone isn’t just ‘random placement.’ ITS CONCRETE EVIDENCE. But y’all aren’t ready for that.

Day 4: Parallels with Jancy

(im probably gonna do parallels with lumax and jopper and rovickie as well at some point maybe even next)

I think that to some extent, the Duffer Brothers do these kinds of parallels on purpose, and I'll tell you if I think they are on purpose as they come up. If they aren't on purpose, this still proves byler endgame: the fact that there are a set amount of tropes for romantic couples means that they are applying these romantic tropes to byler for a reason.

Let's list em babyyyy

1. Hand touching !1!!!!

fun fact: these are in the same episode. i don't think the fact they're both touching hands is on purpose though, but i think that the coincidence enough proves that holding hands-romantic tropes can be applied to both of them. HOWEVER,,,, the jancy scene is literally THE SCENE AFTER THIS ONE HAHA

2. The lip glance

Now.... this one is too insane not to be like,,,, intentional. Tbh i think i'm sceptical on it being totally intentional, but the fact that it's coincidental actually proves byler too, because they literally did the same thing??? and jancy is a canon couple??? girl

3. Teaming up

This is one is just theoretical, but there could be a highly intentional (being that they are both byers and wheeler siblings) parallel to Jancy through teaming up to find Holly like Jonathan and Nancy team up to find Will.

4. THE CAR TALK

This one. Intentional as hell. What do you mean the siblings are in the same exact places???

5. What about us?

I don't think this one is fully intentional, but I think it's a very common thing to put romantic couples (pre-relationship) in this situation where they have to ask about the status of their relationship or it's not as compelling of an arc, so yeah

6. Both standing on the hill

Highly highly intentional. The whole point of this is to SHOW that they could eventually be a couple due to them being shown alongside other couples that are already together, like duh. If anyone denies byler through this image, they may need to be checked for heteronormativity disease </3
