What F1 Driver resembles any Animal Crossing creature? woo 🎉 PT. three!

/ First off the king himself Sir. Lewis Hamilton as the Banded Dragonfly

/ For starters the dragonfly is one of the fastest in the game and really hard to catch, but I mean LOOK AT ITTT NEON GREEN AND BLACK, ITS LEWIS COLORED

/ Following the bugcedes crew is George Russell and the Banded Dragonfly’s smaller cousin, the Damselfly

/ Unlike the Lewis (The Banded Dragonfly) flies away fast and far when near, the Damselfly isn’t always a fast one but still skittish like any dragonfly. Also the neon blue and black perfect like Lewis.

/ First on the Waterrari crew is Charles Leclerc and he’s a Crawfish

/ I mean look at it the innocent look on its face, just like Charles innocent and borderline thoughtless (maybe scary at times when devious). And then the facial hair is Charles crawfish whisker’s sniffing the pond he was fished from

/ Finally on our list is Carlos Sainz Jr. and he’s the Red Snapper

/ Cmon the complexion and features on his face represent on the Snapper. (I’m a Carlos enjoyer please don’t kill me) And then the red is what represents Ferrari and then the Chili joke as well fits the vibe too and he’s a bit salty and petty like the Snapper found in the sea. 😭

/ Welcome Charles and Carlos to the dead looking fish/water creature crew club in the ice box at the fish market featuring Max Verstappen the Catfish and Logan Sargerent the Cherry Salmon 💀

if bug butts on humanoids aint your kind of weird you can also try taking something fairy-associated things (moss, tree bark, leaves) or not fairy associated (glass shards, fish, trash) and working with them as references :) idk how helpful these tips are if at all, so uhhh yeah kisses on the forhead thx for asking have a great week byeeeeee

".....You really need to stop. I-I know you said you wanted to be friends, but this is getting out of hand Rook...." Neige's voice shook a bit as he watched the peculiar man. He was perched carefully on his windowsill, his eyes glinting madly in the low light. Rook sighed a bit and stepped into Neige's room, making the poor boy tremble as he backed up towards his bed.

"Rook I'm going to have to call sec-GHHK!" Rook stabbed the knife into Neige's stomach, pushing him back against the bed and making him lay back, covering his mouth. He pulled out the knife and dragged the bloody tip lightly against Neige's face, so as not to damage the skin as he giggled. "Call them. Go ahead and scream Neige. I dare you~" Neige gasped for air as tears rolled down his cheeks, trying to put together some sort of sentence, but failing as a sturdy hand grabbed his cheeks from under his chin. "You know how I feel about you, right Neige? You know how perfect you are, correct?" Neige gave him a weak nod as he sobbed "Please don't hurt me" Rook laughed softly, bringing the knife to his lips and licking it. "No, no no Neige, I'm not hurting you~ you should see the state Vil Schoenheit is in....he's hurting. Which is why I've come here. The little...accident he was involved in....he requires surgical help immediately....and while I could go with anyone else....nobody else has hurt me quite like you Neige. While you are perfect in every way...you still rejected me of your hand in partnership. So I will simply take what I need from you....to give to the man who DOES love me! And happens to be short a couple limbs at the moment. Oh but don't worry Neige. I've tested several other subjects to ensure your beautiful body will take properly to my new love." He leaned in to kiss Neige gently. "But don't worry your pretty little head. It'll all be over soon enough dear~" Neige tried to scream, but he blacked out, only for a moment. When he came to, he was coughing, choking on his own blood as Rook held his severed tongue in his mouth, still giggling. Neige hazily watched as Rook used fishing line to easily slice through his flesh, before everything faded to black. ------------------------------------------------------------

Rook hummed softly to himself as he finished up the job, stuffing the limbs he would use for Vil's body into a bag. He took his time, knowing full well that nobody would notice the beloved popstar was missing until morning. All he would have had to have done to avoid this was said yes, even to just one of the love letters Rook had sent him over the years. But he didn't. But Rook always had backups. He would never tell Vil that though. And now that Vil had "lost" much of his body...and his life, all that was left to do was give Vil the best body Rook could come up with.

Hello, here's comet hook's second devlog !!!

I added a few new stuff to make the game a bit more interesting so let's check it out :)

Small stuff

First, a small graphical update on the player and the comets, they now have a small eye ! (And comets have a different sprite)

Still placeholder sprites but it gives a bit more personality to the game and that's neat :p

Throwing comets is also easier, I added a simple aim assist to make them go toward fishes when thrown and it helps a lot

But what would be the point of that if you can only use two boring comets ?

Bombs !

Introducing the bomb comet ! It does a big explosion when it hits a fish making it quite powerful

But how do you get it ? Welp with the bomb fish :0

This bomb fish can also explode so be carful, but you can trick them to explode on other fishes and do extra damage

That's good and all but you might have taken a bit too much damage playing with them, and you might want yo heal...

Environment

Here are some seashell to break containing healing orbs !

Also coming in big form

Each orbs recover 0.2hp which isn't a lot so you better destroy a lot of those seashells !

And also as you may have noticed, you can get some mini comets as a bonus :)

They don't do a lot of damage but they gather speed really fast

But now you might be like "oh no there's too much comets, how can I handle so many of them ? :("

And i hear you, it sure would be cool to use them all at once instead of leaving them hanging around...

So you can now ! Isn't that amazing ?

Get up to 5 comets at once and BONK all of them on the mean fishes to do a lot of damages !!

Making the mini comets more useful, as a small damage boost at the start of your game

And to make movement a little bit more interesting, I added some walls to the level : you can throw comets to make them bounce on it, and also protect yourself from fish's attacks

And that's all for now, the game is starting to become something a bit more interesting to play but still has a long way to go.

What's next ?

Next time I'll try to add a shop to upgrade your hook and buy other stuff

Maybe also add some mini bosses that you need to fight before fighting a big guy to finish the level (just like fantasy zone : destroy 10 bases and face the real boss)

And also try to improve the gameflow, some action don't feel good to do and that's a no-no for me

Just wanted to give you guys a life update In case you are wondering why i havent drawn any art lately, I recently (as in a week ago was the first session, and last monday was my second) started group therapy and its taking up a lot of brain bandwith!

Its definitely helping me a lot but its also making me super mentally tired which makes me focus more on household tasks, video games and resting. Outside of doodling random things and doing quick gesture studies of stock images in my sketchbook, i do not have the drive to do art.

I know that my art will be much better after this/that im about to level up but it does feel a lil frustrating. I mean as of writing this post it's the 25th of january and ive only completed 3 whole artpieces since the start of the year. Which is kinda conflicting with my goal to draw more art this year compared to last year. But I know it's best to just listen to my body and wait this out. It will just probably be a long wait since I still have 10 sessions to go augh I do hope my drive to do art comes back before that but no way to predict it There's a lot of big things I want to do this year (get a dog, get an rp world started, continue therapy, weekly art activity outside house, draw more, get people interested in my ocs more) and I think my brain just still needs some time to adjust So yeah that's why there havent been any art posts! I know you guys are patient, but I just wanted to let you guys know what was up owo For now I will continue flooding your dash with chickens, fish, other misc animals, cool art i found and currated memes/funny posts (as well as activism). And of course i will reblog the heck out of my friends, you should check them out I am still open to answer asks however! Be it about me, my art or my characters or headworld! So dont be shy :) Anyway that ends my life update, i should probably cook myself some dinner, byeeeeee

BTHB 2023 - Fill 11 - Used As Bait

I got inspiration for this one from @hurting-fictional-people's post! I hope that link works, it was so perfect. c: Archer and the team still belong to @that-one-thespian!

Archer had an annoying penchant for associating with people who were just as obnoxious as he was. They were crafty, strong, and occasionally, like in this case, unreasonably ready to do anything if it seemed like it might get them free. That was only a problem for people unwilling to take equally drastic measures, though.

As Mariano lay on the concrete of the cellar, Royal fished out his phone and fiddled with the fancy camera lens he'd bought. "We've gotta get this right the first time, huh?" He said, knowing Mariano wouldn't play along.

The mage was curled ever so slightly on the floor, spots of blood still dripping from his lips. The flash of Royal's camera going off made him squeeze his eyes shut belatedly. "He won't..." Mariano started, struggling to make eye contact. "He...won't come...they, the team won't."

Royal laughed, setting up the tripod. "Oh, they will." Mariano scowled as Royal tapped the screen. "And, we're recording! Oh Archer, I don't think you know me, but don't worry, I know you and your team!" He started, stepping in front of the camera. "You can call me Royal. And look who I found!" He said, stepping aside again and tilting his phone down.

Mariano glared up at the camera, most of the force gone from how unfocused his gaze was. One bicep hung from his shoulder at an awkward angle halfway to his elbow, and dark, angry bruises were just visible on his skin. Blood had dripped down the front of his shirt in varying stages of drying, splattering his pants and shoulder. Royal turned the camera back on himself, grinning wide. "It's Mariano! You know him. He says you don't like him very much, but I think he's just being hard on himself. Honestly, I think you've been wanting to see him for days now.

"Dunno why, though, he's such a bitch." Royal said with a laugh as he returned the camera to where it had been, walking behind Mariano and roughly rolling him onto his back with his foot. The sole of his boot came to rest on Mariano's throat. "You wouldn't believe what I have to do to keep him from burning me alive." As if to demonstrate, Royal pressed down slowly, feeling Mariano struggle under his heel and grip at his pants leg with his one good arm. "My bat is all dented now, you know? It's a pain. And I have to just keep doing it, or he'll start thinking again. And if he thinks, then I have to buy us all more time.

"You see what I'm getting at?" Royal said, as Mariano choked, his struggling starting to slow. "I think, also, that you'll want him back alive."

Mariano's eyes began to flutter. Magic tried gathering at his fingertips, failing to form more than a spark along the denim that Royal wore. The crackle drew Royal's attention and he looked down, fury breaking through the mask of nonchalant amusement. As if he forgot he was filming, his leg reared back.

Mariano barely got in a gasp of air before Royal's foot connected to his head. Mariano yelped, his voice cracking as his head whipped towards the camera. "So you'll wanna hurry up." Royal said after taking a breath and running his hand through his hair. That bright smile was back again as Mariano fell still, fingers twitching. "See you soon! Byeeeeee!"

Royal ended the video, hearing Mariano mumbling nonsense behind him. "Now, to get this edited, emailed, and get outta here. I'm sure Wren's going to have a lovely time doing her thing, but I don't wanna be here when they set off any of my trip-wires." He held up his phone again and tapped the screen, before picking up a stained, dented bat from the corner and raising it high. "Now, I'll just add in a little incentive to not check things out too closely. Just go to sleep, Mariano, you won't feel a thing in just a few seconds."
