Aphelaen

Aphelaen is a non-xenic umbrella term connected to angelicness and angels (archangels, fallen angels, guardian angels, etc), autonomy and inner conviction, divinity, feathers, softness, and wings, gold (the color, element, or metal) and holiness, guardians, protection, and safety, and shields and swords!

It may also be connected to knights/knighthood and/or demonicness and demons, and may be inherently maverique/maverine depending on the user!

Aphelaen is its own standalone label, but can be freely combined with other (neo)umbrellas!

🥭 — how do you get your coining ideas?

usually it depends on what im into rn! i love making terms specifically for headcanons, but i usually get super carried away and end up making hundreds of terms in the same vein :'D

🍋‍🟩 — what's your favorite part of the liomogai community?

i love the fact that we all play off each other! whether it's someone making a new umbrella, everyone getting inspired and making their own, or making combinations with it. or when someone starts making specific kinds of terms (galactian alignment, species flags, role systems, presentation flags, etc) and everyone's like oh shit! i wanna make some too! i think it's really cute and fun

🥕 — was / is there a specific blog that inspires your coining, flags, etc.?

following archive blogs like @radiomogai, @presentationflag-archive and @x4xarchive have been pretty paramount in what terms i make lately! it helps me get a wider view of what others are making, beyond the blogs i already follow

@neopronouns has always been someone i get ideas from, and ive been eating @daybreakthing / @melabea / @floretspell's terms like candy recently too LMAO

and @blood-moon-night-coining / @redacted-coiner has a lot of awesome stuff i end up basing my terms off of as well!! but there's so many talented ppl in the community i could just keep adding @'s forever and ever
