Palestinian identity is not defined by DNA can you guys please stop using DNA as some kind of argument because DNA doesn’t make you indigenous. Indigeniety is defined by the relationship to the land and settler colonialism. Palestinians aren’t indigenous because some of us have genetic ties to Canaanites but because we’re literally being colonized. Please stop using the DNA angle it is only going to hurt people like Armenian Palestinians, Afro-Palestinians, mixed Palestinians, so on and so forth.

I don’t think it’s a question that both H & L should be more vocal about Palestine. All the 1D guys haven’t been (minus Zayn) but it’s more glaring when it comes to H. Because well, he’s a bigger celeb & a household name and he’s been vocal about other issues so the general public is expecting him to speak up. He’s based a portion of his career on being politically vocal but doesn’t say a word in support of Palestine? So now he looks like a z*onist or a fake in the eyes of the public. And why he’s been pointed out specifically, amongst other celebs who are more well known.
H has also had claims of Z*onism from the 1D days. He said before that he wanted to play a show in isr*al but so did Niall. You only hear about Harry with this though because again he’s more well known & his constant and recent affiliation with z*onist people who have financially backed isr*al publicly and proudly. He even went to Liam’s funeral with 2 of them. I remember how the gp reacted to his public shopping trip with Ben also, it wasn’t positive so him going with him to the funeral was certainly a choice. Then this collaboration of Pl*asing with D*sney, is even worse. Any previous silent support from 2023 isn’t enough to overcome everything he’s done since then.
L’s contribution was noticed by the public, especially when WarChildUK had children of Gaza pinned to their page as the focus during the timeframe of that show. And of course WarChildUK promoted it and L included donation links during ticket sales. I heard those links remained there after the show for a while also. So yes, he’s going to look pro-Palestine to people despite not being vocal.
Just to clarify if people look at the official boycott list, Starb*cks was never actually on it. Since that list concentrated on companies who have financially supported is*el. For Starb*cks it was a copyright infringement, so I thought I’d mention that in case people looked up the list and they didn’t see Starb*cks listed.
The point here is that H is one of the widest known stars out there. He’s been vocal about many other political issues as a part of his brand. Now he’s been silent about one of the biggest political concerns, surrounds himself with z*onists, and collabs with a company who is a large isr*al supporter for his clothing brand. People are going to question him and make assumptions about his stance vs others who aren’t as well known and who have partnered publicly with a charity, which at that time on their page focused their efforts in Gaza.
Hi, anon!
Well summed up. I have nothing to add.
