I want vampirism to be like were[animal]ism. Like I want there to be different animals than vampire bats. I want a guy who can turn into a turkey vulture and can only eat carrion. Has a pointy tongue, can only sleep standing on his tip toes, shits really weird. He's also immortal and doesn't have a reflection, he just doesn't have bat qualities.

I have not had art in a physical gallery since my college days, but this year Oddball Art Labs are hosting a show through July about cryptids and monsters and such. I really wanted to participate. Get something on a wall. So I did. I hemmed and hawed over what to do. I didn't wanna go with a bigfoot or one of the many similar ones... I thought about Nessie, as that was my first cryptid love, but it wasn't speaking to me. Then I found this delightful creature: The Belled Buzzard. Took a bit of a liberty as turkey vultures* aren't great graspers so that bell would probably never happen but it is a special bird, despite just literally being a turkey vulture wearing a bell. (It is traditionally pictured with a cowbell/sleigh bell around it's neck.)

Anyhow, it spoke to me and I did it and I even went to the opening reception. Deets on the show are in the link, but the original will be showing through the month and is available for purchase. I will also have prints at upcoming conventions.

*Some fun things about turkey vultures aka turkey buzzards! You see that little dot at the end of it's crooked smile? That's its EAR. ALSO, they have an amazing sense of smell! (Rare for birds) You see how it looks like their is a hole right through the skull? Those are the nostrils! They have no septum dividing them! There are lots of bird anatomy features you can observe on vultures because they have no feathers on their little wrinkly faces. (And yes, they have comparably small heads for a bird their size.)

**The horalitc pose is when a bird will partially or fully open it's wings to sun itself. Very common in vultures especially.

yay, its another FAD! (flash art dump. i am the best at acronyms) coming it hot, we've got the much-awaited return of strong weak, homestar dressed up as a touhou gal i know jack squat about, and a moment from "more fan costumes" that probably should have been in my goddang gay moments compilation. oh well!

I have this ideia for a s3 of DuckTales rewrite for some weeks now and I decided to share a summarised version of it.

So I was thinking how we could tie the Isabella, Bradford and Huey plot more nicely so what if Bradford gets transformed back into a kid and tricks everyone into getting the lost mysteries for some weird ritual to get Isabella back (she is already dead but since most people don’t know what happened to her in her last adventure they believe in him) and at mcduck enterprises it takes some time to notice that Bradford disappeared because Bentley and Buford are doing the paperwork (through kid Bradford’s orders), on the other hand FOWL would still be in the race for the treasures even if they aren’t successful collecting the treasures because kid Brad plan is working and is making the family believe they’re winning. Huey would give more attention to Bradford because he’s technically the blueprint for the woodchucks so he wants to know and learn more about it, Brad uses this opportunity to manipulate (similar to the finale) everyone to the point it’s difficult to keep harmony between everyone.

In the end we get to Alexandria and everyone gets ambushed by FOWL and Bradford transforms himself back into adult (the plot twist!) and the rest…well I’m not sure how it would go yet but during the season we would get some clues about Bradford’s connections and by mid season we would start to notice many friends disappearing (if we go by the box kidnappings storyline).

Scouts first intel grab, he got shot and died five seconds after this fly high angel. I can’t sleep so I’m posting Ermm what…. Doing anatomy studies lately, kind of boring but I think it’s because I do them while I’m at work so I’m bored anyways. Try not to change how I draw scour every time I draw him challenge impossible.

Pro life tip if you ever thrift something always look at the tags, if it says dry clean only and is 100% Rayon believe the tag because it will shrink like a mfer.,. True story thrifted a reallly nice shirt and it freaking shrunk. But it’s okay I restretched it by soaking it in warm water with conditioner like the internet told me to and it’s basically back to normal.. yes I am a pro at looking up things online and reading wikihow hold your applause. Like there are some dry clean only things I do just toss in the washer and they’re fine but apparently Rayon will not be fine (which I didn’t check the tag when I threw it in,, oops)

I went to the park with a friend and saw not one, not two, but FOUR herons, freakay, and a turkey buzzard, I’ve seen herons flying but I had no idea they like nested at the park, mustve been maybe kind of recent because I used to go there a lot as a kid and never saw them there, or maybe I didn’t see them. Nature is crazy. I would’ve taken a picture but they’re so thin they kind of just blended in with the reeds. The geese were there though just like always, they hissed at me. I also went to a Perkins for the first time in forever and wow it was old people central kind of wild.

Thinking about that one post that was like

To lay there, bleeding out without a care in the world as Logan memorizes those pearl like eyes, and wade imprints the small smirk he has into his memory for eternity.'

To that, I pitch after the last kiss Wade will ever give him, He smiles, because he knows he's made Wade as happy as humanily possible. Laying there for years or for hours, they're unsure. But they do know one thing.

"See ya at home, bub." He tells him with his last breath, an ungodly amount of blood gushing out the side of his mouth. But he's not sad. No, no neither of them are. They're relieved. Logans last act of service was bringing Wade Home. The place he never really felt right because he knew he was supposed to be dead by now.

And they'd find them in a week.

After the buzzards get loud.

After the insecets have made their claim.

After the foxes has had their taste.

After the raven has had it's say.
