we are the dogstar system, aka canis major or dogstar. as a whole, we use the names canis or dog, but we try to make it clear who's who as we prefer our personal names/pronouns more than the collective. please use the collective terms if you are not certain who you're talking to, better that than to be assumed to be someone else.

we tend to use the terms: headmate, alter, individual, 'other(s)' do not call us: part, fragment, piece, personality/alter ego/etc

more about us ﹥ we are a traumagenic system that was diagnosed with DID in 2019. we use the term "plural" or any DID-related terms for our experience. we are pro-self identification and self diagnosis forever. you should be, too. ▹ we first figured out we were plural in ~2014, but it has been repeatedly suppressed. we have irl support and a healthy environment, now, so it's probably different this time. hopefully. ▹ collectively, we are all autistic and have a cocktail of mental illnesses. the body has some chronic physical ailments, as well. ▹ some of us will post on here, some of us won't post at all, and some of us will probably wind up with our own sideblogs at some point. that's the way it goes being raised online. ▹ likewise, we all have our own tags for 'signing off' on posts we make or reblog. however, sometimes we reblog posts for each other's tag, and we don't always sign off on posts. none of us are about to make that mandatory for ourselves or each other. enjoy. ▹ we don't mind DMs or asks at all, i know a lot of us are looking for more friends that are plural. this is a sideblog, but you're free to follow/message our main as well :] @farmdog
