"...GEORGE HAD BEEN WORKING ON THE PROJECT FOR YEARS. SO HE'D LIVED WITH IT; HE HAD A LOT OF IMAGES IN HIS HEAD."
OVERVIEW: "English costume designer Jenny Beavan has been nominated for nine Academy Awards, but this yearâs, for "Mad Max: Fury Road," is unlike any other. The heavy corsetry and thick, wide linens of British costume dramas have been her area of expertise, including her Oscar-winning work for 1986âs "A Room with a View," starring a young Maggie Smith, Helena Bonham Carter, and Simon Callow, and her other nominated films including "The Kingâs Speech" and "Gosford Park." So whatâs it like to move from period to post- apocalyptic? We got on the phone to find out."
-- VANITY FAIR, "How Charlize Theron Taught "Mad Max" Costume Designer Jenny Beavan to Take a Compliment," by Bridget Arsenault, February 26, 2016
VF.com:Â "Youâve been nominated, what, nine times now? Do you still get that goosebump feeling? Does it still feel the same as it did that first time?"
JENNY BEAVAN:Â "This was particularly special because as you may know itâs obviously quite different to my normal work, not that I ever wanted to be typecast, but one just tends to be a little bit, and so when I got this opportunity that was fantastic. Yes, I was absolutely thrilled and went sort of weak at the knees."
VF: "Did a lot of the filmâs lunacy come from the director, George Miller?"
JENNY: "Of course, absolutely, and George had been working on the project for years. So heâd lived with it; he had a lot of images in his head."
VF: How long do the costumes for a project like this take?"
JB: "This was an unusual one. Absolutely each project is its own thing. "On The Kingâs Speech," I had five weeks from getting the job to the first day shooting. This, we made everything, and in fact we had all the stuff theyâd made previously, but even more importantly, we had all the junk theyâd collected. Old car parts, old cutlery. So, I got from Australia something like 200 boxes of junk. Old goggles, old bits of ammunition, just stuff, and we set up a workroom. We found materials, like vellum, which Iâve never worked with before. Itâs disgusting, itâs raw leather, really, but it made marvelous masks."
VF: "What specifically was different about working on "Mad Max" to other projects?"
JB: "Not only did it have to look amazing, they had to be able to work in it, they had to have safety built into it. Everyone had to wear goggles in the end because of the sand and you know racing through the desert churning up the sand was dangerous."
VF: "Did you have a moment of feeling overwhelmed?"
JB: "No, a friend told me a long time ago, "We donât do panic, we do sense of urgency.""
VF: "Can you talk a little about some of the more unusual materials and fabrics, as well as how you found them, where you sourced them?"
JB: "Well, Iâve never had a metal worker and a mold-maker in my costume department before because you donât need them a lot on "Jane Austen.""
VF: "Who do you design for?"
JB: "Iâve never been asked that before. I think I do it for the director and for the film. Iâm a storyteller with clothes, and I just try and do the best job probably to support the actor, for the director, and the film, and I donât think of the audience."
VF: "How much of a collaboration do you have with the actors?"
JB: "Enormous, if they want to be collaborative, and most of them do. Itâs normally you have the ideas, and you present them: it might be a drawing or a mood board or a collection of clothes, and you take it to the actor and then you start with the dialogue, you donât just throw them into it. And when they say, âOh yeah, now I know who this person is,â or, âYeah, youâre helping me understand it,â thatâs when the whole thing is just the most marvelous job in the world."
VF: "Do you have a favorite anecdote from set?"
JB: "When Charlize [Theron] came for her fitting in Namibia, she put one on and said, âThis feels really great,â and it had to be a sort of corset because she had to put this harness on top of it. I went all sort of English and coy and said, âOh well, you know, weâve been trying to make itâŚâ And she just said, âTake the compliment, bitch,â and George Miller literally elevated about a foot in the air; he sort of jumped. Sheâs just very straight talking, and I just loved it, so Iâve been taking the compliment, bitch, ever since."

i Just Have To Ask
is That One Of Them ManHunter Bots? and If That Is A ManHunter Bot Why Was It With The All Star Squadron?
No but the color similarity is both as intentional and as sinister as it seems. Manhunter had a bad habit of stumbling into situations like that
(The clearest file photo of Paul Kirk as Manhunter, background cleaned, circa 1942)
Paul Kirk II was born to a relatively wealthy family in Empire City and spent most of his time searching for distraction. He traveled, he honed his body, he hunted big game on the African continent until the thrill just no longer appealed to him.
It was during a travel searching to dispel this ennui that he stumbled into the orbit of the mysterious Cult of the Manhunter, a group of fanatics focused on hunting the guilty and destroying them. Their uniform, which Kirk modeled his eventual costume off of was based on the visage of their robotic masters who planted the seed of the cult on every world where they lay dormant. Though of course Kirk did not and could not have known that the masters of this freakish holy order were fascistic alien robots.
During a return to his native Empire City a friend of his was murdered by a deformed gang leader called The Buzzard. Using his skills to bring the criminal to justice Kirk found the rush he had long since been missing on the hunt. So he became Manhunter!
(He could not have known that former police office Dan Richards would then pick up the name less than a year later, also in Empire City a squabble that left the two men rather poorly disposed to one another for their entire lives and makes historical records VERY fun to parse as you can imagine)
While Kirk did join the All Star Squadron he was rather quickly scooped up by the nascent OSS to run black ops missions behind enemy lines, often alongside fellow agent Tex Thompson AKA Americommando. He did not enjoy the experience of being a spy, it was morally dirty work and far too subtle and quiet for a born hunter. He retired as soon as the war was over and returned to Africa.
When a charge by a Cape Buffalo left Kirk mortally wounded he was discovered by "The Council" a shadowy think tank with aims of world domination, natch. The healed Kirk, enhancing him genetically and altering his mind. They placed him at the head of their enforcement thugs which they staffed almost entirely with clones of Kirk himself. An Interpol strike against the group that somehow included Gotham's Batman managed to shake Kirk loose of his altered perspective long enough for him to bring the base down around the Council, killing the original hero in the process and seemingly all of the clones. Two of the clones however, survived.
Kirk DePaul was a member of the Los Angeles based hero business Power Company until his mysterious murder in relation to a string of murders related to those carrying the Manhunter identity. Currently the legacy is survived by Paul Kirk III, who currently works for the "HEROZ4U" hero rental app, which gets a bad rap on premise but I've heard nothing but good things about.

Oropo; the ideology of power behind being god: Part 2
One of the things that frustrates me the most about Wakfu (or Tot to be more specific) is his shameless, unconsidered, unprofessional misuse of pantsie writing. Now, don't get me wrong, pantsie writing isn't inherently bad, on the contrary: not only is it less taxing than a planned out story since it allows you to not waste your mental health on every single detail of your plot, but it also allows you to surprise the audience much more easily since you can just make up things on the fly; some of the greatest stories ever told (Avatar: the last airbender; Breaking Bad) are the results of on the fly decision making; but that's not to say that it's perfect, it actually has as many drawbacks as preplanned writing if not even more. (Cue FNAF)
You might have just ended a story arc or a season, and now you are tasked to follow up on your work, but haven't thought of anything ahead of time, so now you have to make stuff up or go back and look at any possible bit of potential and expand on that.
The biggest challenge here is of course, not contradicting your previous work; but let's say you don't wanna do that, let's say you get an idea that you consider so good that you can't just give it up but it requires you to do a little bit of a retcon: cue Oropo.
And although when stuff like this happens I always get so incredibly infuriated, I, for this particular fictional character, get so much more animated due the fact that the idea and the elements itself in how they were distributed are so unbelievably good that had the actual writing been more competent it would have created, in my honest opinion, the most unique and dynamic fictional antagonist of all time.
Let's go through all of the traits of Oropo in order of appearance to see what I am talking about:
Oropo isn't directly introduced from the jump at the start of his arc, instead, we're first introduced to some of the members of his brotherhood, highlighting the main difference between him and the previous foes: Oropo is a mastermind type of villain (cue Slade from Teen Titans) of the secret variety (cue Bradford Buzzard from DuckTales 2017) as we later learn that he already influenced past events in the show (we'll come back to this); already, this is one of my favourite villain archetypes and it's not even the end.
Then, Lady Echo comes to Adamai and tells him that the purpose of the Brotherhood is to protect the world. Interesting motive, but I feel like it's incredibly easy to mess up depending on how much evil you want your villain to be; for example, Emperor Belos from The Owl House works because his solution to keep the world safe is to annihilate all witches and he only kills Caleb and Luz because he views them as corrupt and unreademable due to his Christian indoctrination; Oropo... it doesn't because it was all fake.
And then, we finally get to the third season, where we get introduced to the big man himself, and his huge ass tower that he challenges the heroes to climb. Some red flags are already present in the way the previous two episodes played out, but so far, he gives off the sense that everything has already been planned out beforehand and the heroes are just mere pawns in his master plan, not even a real threat.
And now that we finally meet him, we are quickly introduced to many other interesting traits: he's a philosopher, an idealist, he has a charming voice and personality that transpires into the uncanny valley due to it feeling like a robot, his followers look at him like a saint, even Adamai has his trust while he tells him his plan to overthrow the gods.
Speaking of which, as stated previously, his plan is so unique in the grand scheme of things since he doesn't just seek power for the sake of power and to become god because, rather he wants to instaurate a sort of "republic" of the gods with his cult, he has ordered the levels of his tower in a specific way to showcase his priorities, and, before he becomes mentally unstable at the end of the season, treated his followers kindly.
And then, the final reveal, foreshadowed in the Iop level of the tower, Oropo is actually Yugo's one thousand year old copy that was sent part of a race sent back in time by their creator on accident and had to hide their existence to avoid messing up the timeline and the whole "replace the gods" was a metaphor for replacing Yugo, Oropo's personal god.
.....
SO GOOD
At this point a part 3 is warranted, but in the meantime I'll join the rest of the fandom in their dissatisfaction and keep ranting about Oropo being, in my humble opinion, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest missed potential villain of all time.

Smokethistle (black and white silly) owned by @havochellion :D i own barak (again lmao)
notes bellow cut
GRAHHGH I LOVE THIS STUPID SILLIES WITH A BURNING PASSION and have cried over them numerous times like i am not joking i fr sobbed a few nights ago
BUT BESIDES THAT LMAO
This was probably one of my favorite events, which was basically Viperâs Veil (basically a murder cult lmao, also made by havoc) raided MistClan (like windclan but more rocky), and oh the CHAOS THAT ENSUED. Mmm, letâs see what I remember; My guy (barak) made one of his most regretful decisions, as seen here when he told (his pretty much nonbiological brother) benjamin to go hide instead of protecting him himself, which led to all SORTS of events which i canNOT explain here atm because itâs 10pm and im tired lmao
but then THIS HAPPENED
THIS.
RAGHHH, THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOMENTS- god itâs like im watching/reading a show/book but im writing one of the characters its INSANE, basically smokethisle got in a fight with viperâs veilâs leader where their sister was included in the brawl, fighting alongside them until buzzard (vv leader, alsoalso owned by havoc) got a moment where he held fangs (their sister, alsoALSO owned by havoc) hostage, demanded the location the resources in turn of her life, and despite smokethistle telling them, she was killed regardless
i
SOBBED
i kid you not i was a MESS that night
but basically, barak comes in and comforts his mentor, smokethistle, but when they say âshe was my last tether to familyâ, barak says (the TITLE OF THE POST OHEMGEE)âyou know what i cant capture it again GRABS A SCREENSHOT RQ
ignore havocâs username đ
BUT AAGRHRHRGHRH EXPLODES I CANT

CW: Raven's colony is a cult! If that is something you're uncomfortable with be cautious.
--
RAVEN - He/Him - Known as "First Light" by his colony. A stern leader who favors strategy, leaving the brawns to the Second Light (Buzzard) to handle. He's the head of the Guiding Lights that watch over their flock of The Flightless. Raven and his brother Sparrow were born in the clans. Once known as Ravenstar and Sparrowfeather. The incident that took his leg and left him marred changed Raven. His faith in Starclan fractured. Unwilling to step down properly Raven fled his clan. Sparrow followed his brother, wanting to protect him from whatever threats he'd come across. Raven begrudgingly accepted this, allowing Sparrow to aid him while he relearned hunting. Raven still has 4 lives remaining as he stands among The Flightless who look to him and the other Guiding Lights for protection. For leadership. For shelter, for food. The Guiding Lights control the portion of the twoleg town they live in, taking in the vulnerable and isolated strays who wish to join their flock. Sparrow abandoned his brother long ago.
CRIMSONEYES - He/They/She - Was once a medicine cat under Ravenstar's leadership. Now he lives a "nomadic" lifestyle. His claws dipped into each clan, manipulating and tugging at the cats who trust him for information. Information that goes straight to Raven. His claws are long and brittle, used mostly for shredding at herbs and picking berries. They'd be cut down to a normal length easily if he tried to use them for anything else.. He loved Raven back when they lived in the clans. In his own way, he still does. Perhaps that's why he feeds the old leader information still.
FADINGLIGHT - She/He/They - The Dark Forest is no place for a cat, but Fadinglight thrives in the eternal prison her ex-mate sent her to. As long as she can follow Raven for the rest of his lives she is a-ok with her predicament. She relishes in tormenting Raven, plaguing him with nightmares as she drags him into the Dark Forest each night. Leaving him each time with more scars than he came in with. She wishes to break him, but Raven remains stubborn against her. Enduring her games as she works within the flock to turn them against him. Forcing Raven to exile (or execute) his colony of followers. One by one.

It's been 24 hours, and still feels like it was a dream, and I can not believe that he is gone. Windham Rotunda was a third generation wrestler. His grandfather was WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan, his uncle was WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham, his father was WWE Legend Mike Rotunda. Wyndham sure followed the family business. He started to wrestle in 2009, and 2012... He became known as "Bray Wyatt", and started "The Wyatt Family" with @erickredbeard and The Late Luke Harper. @adamscherr99 would have joined later on. The Wyatt Family would dominate both in NXT & WWE a year later. After the split of The Wyatt Family, Bray would continue make a impact in the WWE. He would become a three time World Champion, and he would also have time to reinvent himself from a cult leader to a kid show host to a crazed fiend. Wyatt would have legendary rivalries with @johncena , @randyorton , @wwerollins , @romanreigns , @bryanldanielson , & WWE Hall of Famers @glennjacobstn & @undertaker . Behind the scenes, Windham was known to be a great human being, and not just to his friends and colleagues, but he would also spend some time for his fans as well just to make their day. Windham was one of the most creative minds in the wrestling industry, and it's a ashame that we don't get to see that more often. Windham left this world unexpectedly, and it's hurting us. He left his friends, family, and his children. Thank you, Windham for all the memories that you given us and give me a reason to enjoy wrestling again. We will miss you, and say "hi" to The Exalted One for us, you will finally get to reunite with your brother once again. Thank you, Bray... We will miss you. So thinking about Buzzard, the song I associate with him most is "Forget me Nots" by Patrice Rushen
youtube
Mostly because of all the associations I have with the MIB cartoon and how that influenced Buzzard (especially his appearance, a mixture of the classic "man in black" and noir detectives) HOWEVER I would say that the song that most accurately represents Buzzard as a person is "Veteran of the Psychic Wars" by Blue Oyster Cult
youtube
Buzzard is a (fish)man that puts on a jolly and goofy exterior to cover the scars gained mentally (and many, MANY physical scars) from his experiences in the Galactic War. How he grew up under occupation, forced at 15 years old to become a mind controlled soldier for the Arlut empire - until through sheer willpower he freed himself and joined the resistance.
Then dedicated himself to helping repair his homeworld and society, as well as tracking down Arlut loyalists. (He spent many years as a "Manhunter", the Vairrad equivalent of a police force/FBI type of deal. Like all Vairrad things, the Manhunters are CONSIDERABLY less sinister than they sound.)
But the critical part of Buzzard is that he's also a genuinely goofy and jolly guy, so the act he puts on isn't just an act but him forcing his true self through all the scars.

ROLLS AROUND ON THE GROUND AT THIS ADDITION
AND THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT between the two of them, Malorn most likely HAS to interact with other adults because he's the Death professor and the only other adult Duncan most likely interacted with ended up recruiting him into a cult.
Like, Malorn has to attend the school board meetings and meet up with parents, right? Just with him being in the very position of a professor at Ravenwood would have him socializing with adults way more than the average student would. In order for Malorn to be proficient he'd have to put all of his misgivings and mistrust aside to do the job that literally no one else can do
And with Duncan......... (stares at Gretta DarkKettle) that old dishrag was like the second adult Duncan ever turned to for comfort and advice and it screwed him over ROYALLY. Like first he had to deal with his (much less than ideal) idol suddenly turning into the World's Most Wanted and when he was at an all time low dealing with his shattered sense of self and his jealousy and resentment towards The Wizard that was when the buzzard swooped in and picked him apart into even smaller pieces like bare bones. It's one thing when you're actively healing from the trauma that a grown up gives you when you're a kid, it's a whole other level when your deepest fears turn out to be correct
okay wait stop. okay wait for me, okay just- (steps around my mountains of garbage and slime)
Listen we all love Malorn Ashthorn (as we fuckin' should) but I just realized. okay, just how much undeserved mess that poor blessed soul went through
Like okay think about it for a second. He's introduced early on in the first arc as Malistaire's former top student and now impromptu Death Professor at Ravenwood, okay so we all know that. But the implications man. The implications, I didn't think about the IMPLICATIONS.
He's like this 12 year old kid, okay. Already even BEFORE his official appearance in the game, imagine being a straight A student, one of the very best (to the point where it's noted and revered amongst the other professors AND your fellow students), under THE Malistaire Drake, who, even before his villain arc, was also one of the most esteemed and powerful Death professors ever. Like I couldn't even keep a C in school that shit must be wild
AND THEN. And then, your professor literally commits several war crimes, causes irreversible damage and trauma, and becomes a national criminal against.... the universe???? Like Malistaite commits heinous terrible shit, and sinks the entire Death School along with him. And then it falls to Malorn Ashthorn, once again who's like a teenager, to PICK UP THE METAPHORICAL PIECES because he had no choice. He was literally the only candidate to fill in Malistaire's place, a legend turned monster, to teach and guide GENERATIONS of new children that are HIS AGE or even OLDER THAN Malorn is.
And then the actual changes in the school. Malorn, former student, now has to learn how to become a professor with his limited knowledge of Death Magic. Like imagine filling in for the college astrophysicist teacher when you've only graduated 6th grade. He has to change his SCHEDULE, from waking up early as a student to get up and get ready even EARLIER as a professor to prepare the classes HE comes up with. Not to mention late nights grading hundreds of papers from multiple students??? AND he either is the ONLY tutor (which means more overtime and work for him, to personally help individual students with different Death lessons), or he has to actually call upon help from other students to help him get his job done.
And then there's like the relationship aspect of it. Malorn is literally just a child, like any other student, but adopting a role as a professor, an adult, means that he also has to adopt a certain mindset. Malorn literally HAS to be patient, HAS to be guiding and nurturing, HAS to be the adult in every situation in order to be a GOOD professor. Malorn has to train hard not only in magic to be ahead of the others in order to teach them properly, but has to retrain his mindset to be ABLE to handle to teach properly. Like you can't be a regular tween teaching other tweens.
And then it's just the pressure after that. The PRESSURE GUYS, of not only living up to one of the most talented and accomplished the school has ever seen, but deal with the fact that the very same person also became a tyrant and war criminal and left Malorn, his most promised student, in his place. Like I could easily imagine the rumors, the judgement, and the fear surrounding that boy, wondering if he would ever turn out to be the same as Malistaire.
No one asked for this. This soap opera I mean, nobody asked me about Malorn Ashthorn or this long ass post but I don't care because I'm crying. Girls I'm crying my entire bed is wet with tears of despair and snot. Malorn is literally a sweetie oh my God he does not, and never will deserve this shit I'm so sorry honey. Sweetie Malorn baby I'm so fuckign sorry, i'm so so sorry,
#crying at this. your additions broke my heart and i loved it#malorn definitely has it better than duncan since malorn himself was less tied up in dark shit like duncan was#but realistically they both would be struggling under a ton of added weight and trauma on different levels respectively#also like to hc that ambrose also plays a hand in each of their anxieties#like its so easy to imagine ambrose treating malorn and duncan differently out of repressed anger/anxiety due to malistaire and morganthe#like imagine ambroae unintentionally makes things a little worse just by showing that he doesn't view malorn or duncan on the same level as-#other students and that starts to weigh on them#ANYWAYS LMAO sorry this is just so interesting

Wyatt 6 Theory
Bray Wyatt/Wyatt 6 Theories
Mercy The Buzzard: Follow the Buzzards Wyatt Family Bray.
Abby the Witch: Sister Abigail - female alter ego. His internal mother and caretaker. The dark angel on his shoulder.
Husky Harris: Original gimmick. Alter ego caused by trauma of audience rejecting him.
Ramblin Rabbit: Rambling Promo Era Bray.
The Fiend: Protector - Protects Bray and wants to avenge all of the wrong thats been done to him.
Uncle Howdy: The masked Bray. Threatening, sociopathic, sadistic.
Bray Wyatt: Cult leader - extremely charismatic and gets people to follow him. Bray is also the vessel or conduit for the six personalities.
Windam Rotunda/Real Bray: Actual person behind the character. Suffers from DID. MPD and ASPD.
White Rabbit: The physical manifestation of the Firefly Fun House living inside The Fiend-ridden Bray Wyatt.
Bray The Vessel
Bray is the vessel or conduit for the six alter egos. Bray is the Masked Character as he came out wearing the mask at Extreme Rules then removed the mask and ended the PLE as Bray. However, on Smackdown, Windam was speaking to the audience and he was interrupted by the Masked Character on the Jumbotron.
Bray's Trauma
Regarding his trauma, Bray once cut a chilling promo in NXT about how he burned his father alive on a boat. Additionally, in one of Bray's NXT vignettes in 2012, he was talking in the woods with the cult around him and he was talking about how heâs not afraid anymore, how âtheyâ canât hurt him, and what can âtheyâ do when they realize they canât hurt him and the only thing to do is to run.
Bray's Vessel
Speaking of vessels, in 2013, when Bray was still in NXT, someone asked him on Twitter what happened to Husky Harris and Bray responded with something like âHe needed guidance, I needed a vesselâ.
Masked Character
The Masked Character sometimes has red contacts (Fiend).
The Rabbit Hole
The door is the entrance to the rabbit hole and any of the six alter egos can emerge at any time.
White Rabbit
Following the White Rabbit means following an unlikely clue and finding yourself in the middle of an extraordinary situation. This situation often challenges your beliefs and changes your life. The White Rabbit is so curious, so strange, that Alice cannot help but to follow him.
So, Bray found and became the White Rabbit. The Masked Character says to Bray "forget the future, forget the past, your life is over, so breathe your last." The White Rabbit has consumed Bray and now Bray will collect his followers because they too cannot help but to follow the White Rabbit. The line at the end "you have no idea who you are dealing with, but you will" wasnt for Bray that was for the others.
Bray as Bray Wyatt will lure people in, just like he did with the emotional promo on Smackdown, then the White Rabbit will take over. He even said in the promo "there were remarkable people, you know who you are" foreshadowing his followers, "who said to me 'I was in a time of need'". This shows that he prays on the vulnerable, just like Bray was vulnerable.
I thought his last line before being interrupted by the "White Rabbit" was interesting. He was talking about the crowd, but he was really talking about the White Rabbit finding him, chasing him. When he acknowledged him, he appeared.
Bray The Cult Leader
So much with Bray is doubletalk and can be taken many ways. The return promo on Smackdown is at once a face promo, thanking the fans for being there...and setting up the cult leader because he now knows the way...and those who came to him....and the dark man who came to him in the swamps...and thanking the fans for truly supporting him...and setting up the monsters he unleashes...
Bray's new entrance song "Shatter" by Code Orange includes the lyrics "Die for me brother".
Week 1 Return
Uncle Howdy Quotes
"I used to think that the only place I could be free was the place inside my mind. Let me in forever. Revel in what you are."
"O little one. Come with me. Your life is done. Forget the future. Forget the past. Your life is over. Breathe your last. You got no idea who you're dealing with. Do ya? Ooh but you will. Hahahaha. You will."
"You don't know who you're dealing with but you will" Â is from a Clive Barker novel called "Arabat".
Creepy Characters
â˘There were demonic looking creatures shown at the very end of Smackdown -- one looked like a goat and one had a creepy mask with eyes that looked like lights.
Week 3
Bray Wyatt - Quotes
"Revenge is a confession of pain."
"I'm really glad you didn't leave me alone."
"I needed you. I needed all of you."
"You yanked me up. I'm thankful for that."
"Now, I can see."
"I know who you are. I know what you want. I know what you're trying to do, but it won't work. I confess that along this journey I'm going to do horrible, horrible things. But I will never feel sorry for them. I'm just a servant now. I go where the circle takes me."
The Code Orange âShatteredâ theme playing with the lyrics while Bray was speaking making what Bray had to say difficult to hear was on purpose -- it was supposed to be difficult. It was supposed to replicate Brayâs reality of the multiple voices he hears in his head, the multiple personalities within him, all vying for his attention. It was supposed to disorient us, the viewer, just like the voices in Brayâs head disorient Bray.
Bray Wyatt Tweet about Circle - February 28, 2020
âLife is a circle. No matter what beast you make of yourself or how bright one side is, inevitably the dark side comes again. But the beauty of the circle is, round we go.â
âI go where the circle takes meâ Meaning
Bray said he goes where the circle takes him, but like an ouroboros, it is an infinity loop and will eternally take him back around to where he started. From this tweet, itâs clear where he started is his dark side and where he will always end up, regardless of âwhat beastâ he makes of himself. Bray said that âalong this journeyâ he is âgoing to do horrible, horrible thingsâ -- but that doesnât even matter because it wonât be enough to defeat the darkness, his darkness, the dark side of himself that manifests itself as one of Brayâs multiple personalities. He will still get destroyed regardless, no matter how ruthless he becomes, and whether he ânever feels sorryâ for the âhorrible thingsâ he does or not. It also doesnât matter âhow bright one side isâ, even Windham (Real Bray), that is the bright side that fought back through his depression and suicidal feelings, isnât bright enough to defeat his dark side. It will come again. And around and round we go...
Bray Wyatt - Shirt - Images on Shoulders
The pictures are from Dantes Inferno: Canto XXVIII. --> âA headless figure approaches Dante, holding his head in front of him as if it were a lantern.â
Voiceover & Montage of images
Voiceover Quotes
âWhy would you lie to me?â
âNever lie to the ones you loveâ
Montage of Images & Meaning
Image of Hitler and a crown of thorns --> These images evoke a cult leader that makes himself out to be a sympathetic sacrificial lamb that is actually a sociopath using his charisma to hypnotically control his followers aka âfirefliesâ. Jesus-like and Hitlerian at the same time. Cult leaders also lie to their followers, who they profess to love, all of the time. Cult leaders are also often paranoid and will project and accuse others of doing what they in fact are doing, including their own followers.
Uncle Howdy
A man with a moustache says, "Howdy" at the end of the image montage --> this is the unmasked Uncle Howdy.

Message when you dial the ph# on Psych Eval Form:
âOh no, not me
I never lost control
Who knows
Not me
We never lost controlâ
The above message is lyrics from David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold The World".
This could be Uncle Howdy speaking to Bray saying he "thought you [Bray] died alone a long, long time ago."
Bray made it clear when he spoke as Windham during his Smackdown return that he had fought through depression and being suicidal but Uncle Howdy responded that Bray's "life is done" and that his "life is over". Uncle Howdy represents Bray's dark, depressive, suicidal, anxious side that is full of self-doubt and maybe even self-hate.
Uncle Howdy is determined to pull Windam back to the place of depression, suicidal ideation and ultimately, suicide. This is what he means when he tells Windham he has "no idea who he's messing with". Windham thinks his "fireflies" have gotten him through his depression and suicidal state and Uncle Howdy is warning him that that was just the tip of the iceberg, he hasnât conquered anything, all that darkness is still inside him, ready to engulf, overtake and end him at any moment.
Psychiatric Eval Form - QR Code
"Difficulty showing remorse or empathy" and "disregarding or violating the rights of others" is the textbook definition of sociopathic behavior proving that one of Bray's personalities -- likely Uncle Howdy -- is a literal sociopath. To be specific, these are hallmarks of antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). Sociopaths and psychopaths fall under this disorder.
October 2018 - Bray Wyatt Tweets
In October of 2018 (10/14/18 & 10/15/18), Bray Wyatt tweeted the following tweets then deleted them before the Funhouse segments debuted (as he deleted his entire twitter at that time).
The tweets seem to be part of a detailed report on a psychiatric patient written by somebody referred to only as "Dr. M".
Tweet 1

Thoughts on Tweets
Mercy PHD could possibly be referring to Brayâs Mercy the Buzzard personality.
During the first Firefly Funhouse segment, Bray Wyat said, âIâve been barbarically punished for all of my wrongdoings.â
It seems Bray has spent time in a mental institution for his MPD (multiple personality disorder), DID (dissociative identity disorder) and ASPD (antisocial personality disorder). It appears Bray through one of his personalities tortured himself for perceived wrongdoings and relayed that as barbaric punishment on Firefly Funhouse although Bray was the one torturing himself.

Donnie Darko Scene - Timestamp - Quotes
If you fast forward to this timestamp in Donnie Darko, this is the scene:
"We find ourselves looking at the mirror, rather than looking into and through the mirror."
Donnie Darko - Before & After the Timestamp - Quotes
Prior: "Why do you wear that stupid bunny suit?"
After: "Why are you wearing that stupid man's suit"
Miscellaneous
There was a vignette during the Wyatt Family days where a man was actively being brainwashed/mentally broken/having a breakdown.

itâs not uncommon to find weirdos in the woods up north from Buzzardâs Bight. And living on the edge of the forest means Saskia has unique access to the mysterious area, occasionally meeting the strange things within. and as a courier, this also means sometimes she does deliveries to this region and its odd inhabitants.
today Saskia is delivering some packages to a cult who were in the middle of some kind of strange ritual, which has now been interrupted by her arrival. who knows whats in these boxes, or what kind of ghastly events will take place in this hallowed ground. Saskia is very busy however so she probably wont be here long enough to find out. she collects her tip and then sheâs off, back to work. canât make the scene if you dont got the green.

His hands flexed, threatening to sprout black claws, but Jain wasn't about to let this scrawny scholar get under his skin so easily. A mocking grimace of a smile split across his face. Worse for himself? Was this little mongrel of the heretic church threatening him?
He moved to lean in to Simon's personal space, his eyes locked onto the doctor's with a predatory glint. Simon was taller than Jain by a few inches, but the darker male had more mass of muscle than he did, amd he intended to use that to intimidate the best he could.A strange, bubbling noise much like a cackle left his chest, a light noise more animal than human. More threatening than humorous.
"Excellent observation, medic- seems the cult only hires the best and brightest, hmn?" He spoke lowly, reaching up to delicately pluck the pen from Simon's hand. He contemplated it a moment before speaking again.
"Would the healing church stop me from skinning you alive in the town square? Carrion for the crows and buzzards? Or will they just get another gadje to do the job?"
@drakken-the-beast-hunter
Simon watched the Jain with great interest, taking notes in his book about what he studied.
âAnd tell me, how do you feel now?â
@drakken-the-beast-hunter
(From Simon)
"I feel like I want to rip your face off," came Jain's snarled answer, his face twisted more into a beastly grimace in his agitation. His honey gold eyes were sharper now, brighter, harder to deny his inhumanity if the other signs hadn't been evident enough.

--- usually, billy wouldnât let any person put their hands on him. not without putting up one hell of a fight, anyways. but since heâd been caught snooping--- and he also wanted more information, so that he could protect john--- he allowed edgarâs guards to... how could he put it? to loosely guide him into the obvious cult leaderâs office. when they were alone, billy prepared himself for edgarâs performance. he was genuinely curious to see if the man was even capable of impressive persuasion at all. he had yet to decide an answer on that. billy refused the drink that was offered to him--- OBVIOUSLY--- and he chose to remain standing close to the door, pressing his back to the wall so that he could face edgar where the man lingered behind his desk. âwhy did you bring me here?â billy rocks was not one for PLEASANTRIES, that was for sure. and as the conversation headed in the direction of THREATS, billyâs black eyes glinted with such a steely look that one could mistake him for a statue. âif you... are going to threaten who i think you are about to threaten...â there was no fear in the manâs expression, because he knew that he could handle his own. still, he knew that edgar was CONNECTED, and if he knew about billy, then he knew about goody, too. âknow this...â words were not his strongest suits, but billy rocks could PAINT A PICTURE when he needed to. âif you go near him, if you even say his name, IâLL GOUGE OUT YOUR EYES and feed them to the buzzards.âÂ
