rosie approaches your relationship in a way that’s a perfect mix of ‘modern’ dating and ‘traditional’ courtship — or, in other words, she makes an effort to take things slow and properly woo you whilst also not being afraid to have fun with you or do things to leave you flustered and speechless (she’s a gentlewoman for the most part, but she just thinks you look so cute when you’re like that and there are times when she can’t help but be a bit of a flirt)

her pet names for you are also a mix of terms that are considered more ‘modern’ and those that are recognised as more traditional to the era she lived — for example she’s just as likely to call you ‘sugar’ or ‘sweetheart’ when asking you to check on something she’s left in the oven as she is to call you ‘darling’ or her ‘angel’ when you fetch her something she’s forgotten without her having to ask (always followed up with a kiss on the cheek, obviously!)

her main love languages are words of affirmation and acts of service, though she’s happy to indulge in the others as well if those resonate with you a bit more — she’s nothing if not an attentive lover, after all

likewise, as much as she loves to cook and bake for you (even going so far as penning a cookbook dedicated to all of your favourite recipes and keeping note of any textures or flavours you don’t like), she always appreciates you going out of your way to do something nice for her in return, no matter how small of a gesture it may be in the grand scheme of things — make her a cup of coffee in the morning before she’s fully woken up, help her prepare an outfit for the next day, make note of what she has in stock and go out and buy the ingredients in advance to make her day go that bit smoother, go and deal with susan so she doesn’t have to leave her station, do the chores on the days where she’s working late and you’re home alone, etc.

and, as was mentioned before, she’s also receptive to indulging in the other main love languages if those make you feel more seen and appreciated than the two that work best for her

if you thrive off of quality time then you can guarantee that rosie will be going out of her way to leave her cafe and join you for lunch and a lovely little walk and talk around cannibal town everyday — in addition to your weekly more ‘formal’ dates, of course

Tooru Oikawa

Oikawa would be the type of person to love you fiercely and deeply, and that involves accepting all parts of you. He's not the type to get easily frustrated or give up, so when he realizes he loves you? You bet he's going to always be by your side.

He's very vocal about his love, and he understands that sometimes you need lots of reassurance, so you can often hear him talking to you in a calm and soft voice, and telling you how much you mean to him.

“I'm fond of Shakespeare because he says all the things I want to, but better. So I'll quote him. I will love you, y/n, till the sun grows cold and the stars grow old.”

He promises to love you forever, and when you look into his soulful chocolate brown eyes, you know deep in your heart, that he's never been more serious.

Whenever he's sleeping with you, he's always embracing you, and holding you close to him in a protective position. Sometimes, the nightmares come back and you shake uncontrollably, but he's always there to soothe you and rub comforting circles on your back.

Makes you tea, and although he wasn't very good at it at first, he now makes the best and most fragrant chamomile tea.

He's a light sleeper, which means even if you don't realise it yourself, he's ready to rock you back and kiss you back to sleep gently.

But Oikawa isn't Oikawa if he isn't playful, so he does his best to always make the situation a bright and optimistic one. He understands some things are beyond his control, but your smile? He's gonna do his best to make sure it remains.

The corniest of pickup lines, (all of which he means), and simple but heart-warming romantic gestures because he wants you to know he cares. He really does, and he wants you to always remember that he's there for you.

Small dates when the stress gets too much, or ice cream together in a local convenience store because he knows how much you love it, this man will go the extra mile to make you happy.

You love showering together. Not in a sexual way, but because sometimes, you just like feeling his gentle fingers shampoo your hair as he hums softly, or his warm embrace as the water washes your troubles away.

Oikawa will love you more than he loves himself, because he's finally found someone who helps him feel like he's more than what he thought he was.

Miya Osamu

Osamu is your home, and your comfort place. He is as steadfast as a rock, and loyal and warm, and everything about him soothes you.

The way his soft hands always find yours and gently hold them, rubbing small circles on your palm has been an action that greatly comforts you when you're feeling overwhelmed, and he always knows when to do it.

Osamu loves showing his love through food. He wants you to know that his warmth will be with you, even when he is not, and you find signs of his love in the granola and porridge he makes you in the morning before work, and in the onigiri bentos you have for lunch. It serves as a constant reminder of him, and that he cares for you.

When he thinks you aren't looking, he stares at you with the most lovestruck expression on his face, eyes glazed and lips curled into a smile.

Although not as vocal about his love for you, since Osamu prefers showing it through actions, he likes hearing you talk. He is quiet, and will listen if you ever have traumatic flashbacks.

While you're talking, and letting it all out, he makes the warmest hot chocolate, and holds you in his arms when you are done, repeatedly telling you how proud he is of you.

“I'm so proud of ya, angel. So proud. Yer safe with me now, and I'm never leaving you.”

He loves having physical contact with you whenever you are out, and whether it be in the forms of his hand on your back, or his knees touching yours, he wants you to know he's there for you.

He realises he likes gardening, after seeing your happy face smiling at a flower, and makes it a point to grow the sweetest smelling blooms, only to shyly gift it to you when they're blossomed. The smile on your face was worth it all, and due to that, you start gardening alongside him too.

Likes tucking the flowers in your hair every once in a while, and blushing at how nice you look.

Osamu is your favourite cup of warm tea, and his arms your constant home, safe from the cruelties of the world, and he loves you more than you'll ever know, and more than he can ever hope to express.

Miya Atsumu

For his whole life, Atsumu has been taken care of. But when he meets you, he finally experiences the joy of having someone else depend on him.

Atsumu could never understand why someone would ever hurt a person as precision as you. Because when the world sees his gruff persona, his inner character is soft and gentle, and reserved only for you.

If you have scars, Atsumu kisses them each night. His lips gently press against places which were once reminders of pain, but now are replaced with sensations of his soft lips. He wants you to know that every part of you, is worth loving, even if you might not know it yourself.

Atsumu has large hands, and although most people think he's not good with them, he's suprisingly very good at making delicate braids with your with. It calms you down, having him play with your hair, and it makes him feel really satisfied when he sees how well your braids turn out.

If you ever think lowly of yourself, Atsumu can never stand it. He hates it when you don't see what he does, and although it takes some time to convince you, he does it earnestly, wanting you to genuinely understand why you're so special.

“Don't say that about yerself. Yer perfect. Yer beautiful, and smart, and amazing, so please stop doubting yourself. If only ya could see what I see.”

Atsumu loves buying you things that remind him of you. Whether it be a small teapot in your favourite colour, or your favourite chocolate when you're out to get groceries, he's never not thinking of you.

He also definitely gets you a cute stuffed animal to hug at night, because he had one as a child, and on nights when he couldn't sleep, hugging his helped him immensely, which is why he thinks it might work with you too.

Atsumu thinks life is too short to be high strung, and wants you to relax as much as possible. He's never making tight plans, and prefers to instead go with the flow.

Sometimes, you stir in your sleep, getting nightmares and unbearable images flashing through your head, but Atsumu always places you on him, your head on his chest, and soothes you to sleep with the sound of his steadily beating heart.

He reminds you it beats for you, and only you, and that the nightmares may be there, but they'll disappear soon, while he, will not. He will be by your side forever.

Koushi Sugawara

Suga is no stranger to helping people pick themselves up. With his kind and caring personality, you really can't help but find yourself drawn to him.

It's in the smallest things he does, like reads you the paper every morning in his clear and sweet voice, or sends you texts every afternoon without fail, he makes you feel secure.

The small kisses he peppers on your face, or the way he lovingly wraps his arms tighter around you every night when you shiver from the cold, or the nightmares, are testament to the undying adoration he has for you.

He's always attentive to details, which means he knows you better than yourself. He knows going to places with crowds might trigger your memories, so he chooses a quieter place for dinner. He knows the slight tremble in your hand means you're not okay, and so he's gently soothing you, and taking you home.

Suga is your best friend, and the one constantly there for you, to be your biggest supporter along every step of the journey. Dealing with things like these, are messy, but he knows that, and you know he'll never judge.

He thinks you're perfect, and he wants you to start looking at the world the way you used to, with hope and wonder.

And that starts with you having a safe place, a comfortable one which you can associate with him, which is why he often brings you out to enjoy nature.

Could you do Valentine's headcanons with OG Levi squad x Reader please? (Like individually, or just Oluo if you only want to do one)

💞 Hey so I apologise that it’s literally 2 months after Valentine’s Day before posting this but we got there in the end! I started writing quite a bit and then re-read the request so you’ve got some general headcanons below and then the x reader ones. I made Oluo’s quite a bit longer as I thought you may appreciate this. Also I didn’t include Levi himself, I was going to but I did do Valentine’s headcanons for him in a previous post. 💝

Oluo 

Pretends he doesn’t care about Valentine’s Day but he really does.

Will brush it off if he gets a card but secretly be over the moon.

Will openly talk about how stupid he thinks valentine’s day is, but again as per the above he secretly longs to get a card and will be pretty upset if he doesn’t get one.

If Oluo has a crush on you during the lead up to Valentine’s day is he going to ask you about before hand? Absolutely not. Is he going to wait until the day to make a completely over the top gesture that has everyone staring at you? Yes, that’s exactly what he’s going to do. 

When Oluo likes someone he’ll be pretty stand-offish about it and want to play it cool to the point where he almost seems disinterested. But Valentine’s Day is a different ball game, he knows plenty of people will be sending flowers, making romantic gestures etc. and he has to make sure that his is the biggest/best and that everyone knows how wonderful he is. 

He’ll send you a dozen red roses, a bottle of bubbly, chocolates, a perfect card. Pretty much the Valentine’s Day 101 package - he’ll also forget to sign the card with his name. Not in an intentional secret admirer way either. He’ll beat himself up and panic over it resulting in him biting his lip.

When you do receive his Valentine’s card and gifts it’s obvious who it’s from due to the fact he’ll be close by and giving none too subtle hints it was him. 

Once you find out it was him he will try to down-play the grand gestures which frankly just seems a bit odd. But as you get to know him better the facade very much melts away. 

Will try to kiss you on the first date, but if you’re not into it he will be respectful and back down quickly. 

Has already arranged the second date before the first date is even finished.

If there’s someone in the restaurant he takes you to selling roses he’ll buy you one even though he already sent you a dozen. 

Is pretty fun to talk to on a date, he will chat about himself quite a lot and he will emphasis a little. But he is a surprisingly good listener who does seem genuinely interested in you. 

Will walk you home at the end of the evening and make sure you get in safe, if it’s cold I do see him as being a gentleman who’ll put his jacket round your shoulders. 

Petra 

Loves Valentine’s Day and while it won’t alter how she behaves (being a part of Levi Squad is not something you get to dip out of for the day!) 

She might wear something like a small flower in her hair or slightly different earrings to mark the day 

Secretly hopes she gets a Valentine’s Day card and writes about it in her diary. 

Sends a card home to her parents to remind them she’s thinking of them. 

Wishes Levi a Happy Valentine’s Day before blushing and running away before he can reply.

Wishes Oluo a Happy Valentine’s Day and knows exactly the kind of sarcastic response she’s going to get, she isn’t or rather is disappointed. 

Petra isn’t afraid to tell someone she likes them before they approach her. 

If she has a crush on you she’ll send a really cute and humorous card and signs it with her name, she figures in their job there’s no point waiting around or playing games.

She’ll suggest somewhere aware from the crowds for a date, such as a picnic underneath a tree and will already have a basket, blanket and goodies packed.

Overall she’s pretty confident on a date, she might go a little shy in front of you but once the conversation picks up again she really shines.

She’s very good at deflecting awkward moments of silence and thinking of funny stories to tell you. 

Has a bottle of bubbly in the picnic basket as she’ll want to make a toast. She rarely drinks but being on a date with you is a special occasion.

Petra will hold your hand if you go for a romantic stroll after the picnic and will finish the date with a kiss on the cheek. 

Eld

Eld is rather fond of Valentine’s Day although he may not show it, he has happy memories of his parents on the day and how sweet they were with one another.

He actually lets others see what he looks like with his hair down, it was a tradition that started when he was much younger and started to grow his hair out. His sister would tease him about it and say on Valentine’s Day to attract someone he should wear it down and so he does.

Wishes all his squad happy valentines day in a very casual way.

Suggests some drinks as a team if they’re all sans date for the evening. 

If Eld likes you then he won’t wait for Valentine’s Day to tell you, rather he’ll ask you out on a date beforehand. 

He’ll also ask you where you want to go on a date and also what you’d prefer as a gift (flowers, chocolates etc.) as he isn’t really into surprises and appreciates how it can make others uncomfortable or feel anxious, so he’d rather get what you’d like. 

Eld is very romantic on a first date, he’s incredibly attentive, listens to everything you say and compliments you. He’ll make you laugh and feel at ease. 

Holds hands with you across the table. 

Doesn’t kiss on a first date but will walk you back home and link arms, before you go to bed he’ll ask if he can take you on a second date. 

Gunther 

Relatively indifferent to Valentine’s Day, unless he’s in a relationship and even then similar to Levi it really isn’t the be all and end all of a relationship. 

If he gets a card he is really quite taken-a-back because he doesn’t see himself as being someone who anyone would like in that way. So despite his personality and more out-going attitude, when it comes to matters of the heart he is rather shy. 

He will step in if he sees anyone being inappropriate or upsetting anyone and is quick to do it in a discreet way that diffuses the situation. 

He doesn’t like to make a fuss or be made a fuss of especially in public, to him it’s something that should be more private.

Gunther is unlikely to approach you to ask you out, though he may send a simple but sweet Valentine’s Day card signed from your secret admirer. 

Once you figure out who the card is from (or you send him one) the conversation that follows will be quite matter of fact and almost like two friends arranging to go out.

He’ll pick somewhere that isn’t packed/super popular on Valentine’s Day, opting for a quieter cafe or more secret bar (maybe where there’s someone playing piano).

Dinner is definitely on him, he dresses up for the occasion and will bring you a single red rose. 

Towards the end of the night he’ll definitely be more confident around you and will give you a hug before you part ways. It’s the kind of hug that goes on for a while and you don’t want to end.

also, a relationship with a world-class athlete ain’t easy- you have to brace yourself for a whole lot of time spent apart, not only because of his competitions and whatnot, but also because of his incessant training- an integral and necessary part of his career

but not only do you have to prepare yourself mentally for the long-distance-despite-not-being-long-distance aspect, you have to remember that he is constantly under massive pressure too 

being super clingy and complaining all the damn time is a massive no from your girl here 

but to get into the actual relationshippy things

Okay. So. Without going too deep into it, in the time between me writing my original rules, and getting this ask- I had a long and meaningful conversation with a friend about yandere and how a lot of its hallmark traits resemble stereotypes of certain mental illnesses. How this has been harmful to those groups, the stigma, etc. Please know this is not me talking down about your ask or saying you cannot enjoy that content, but I've decided to not write that specific thing for my hcs.

That being said, I am still MORE than happy to write villainous or "darker" hcs that dont involve that specific "obsessive" yandere feel. If that makes sense.

Also note: most of these have multiple outcomes depending upon certain factors. Ill be tagging anything villain or "darker" as darkau so people can blacklist!

Papa Nihil is a mad king type of villain. It's his world, baby, and maximum hedonism is the goal. He may be older but that does not at all stop him from seeking pleasure even at the risk to his own health. Fucks everything that moves. Holds parties to an extravagant degree. Definitely the kind of bad guy to monologue about past exploits and deeds with the turn of his hand like they weren't horrible things to do. We all (read: other people who aren't him) have to make sacrifices for the church. When he first sees you, you seem like a fun new toy, so to speak. "Cute" is the first word to come to mind.

Likely he first tries to buy your affections. A wolfish smile on his face as he asks if you want a taste of the good life. You two could have some fun. Yet even if you say yes, he soon finds its not enough. Why? He asks himself with a frown. He tries harder, takes more of your time if you let him. You get pulled away from work to have meals with him. He actually asks personal questions about *you* that normally he wouldn't give a shit about in a plaything. But you're not just one of those silly siblings of sin he plays around with.

He hasn't felt this way in a very long time. Its the most serious he's felt in a long time. He still wants to fuck around and basically be his worst self, mind you. But he wants you to be at the top with him. You two can burn brightly together, taking in the best of what his awful actions have bought you. This is if you say yes. If you say no… he smiles. No hard feelings! You'll never be forced to do anything you don't want. It's like he turned off his personality at the drop of a hat. You'll still get gifts after that. Feel his eyes on you around the church. The parties get louder, his screwing around more apparent when you walk in a room. Still, you'll feel his focus on you and nothing else. Almost like he's anticipating for you to change your mind. He'll be waiting.

Papa I - Papa I has always been assumed to be the least threatening of the Emeritus family. He likes to garden, kept to himself after getting off stage. Much of his real "work" is private, you see. Whether it's preparing a poor lost lamb for a ritual after they had betrayed the church for some personal gain. Or slowly and intricately cutting into their skin sigils for the Morningstar. Hes even been known as the best if you need a torturer (although thankfully it is rarer in these days).

You probably take his notice when you express interest in one of his many poisonous plants- lily of the valley. Only if ingested, he tells you. But if you think those are beautiful, he has a lot more he can show you- his private collection.

Its shortly after that you find your duties reassigned to his office. Its out of nowhere, but definitely a step up. The way he phrases it to you is that he needs more help with the garden as one of his previous assistants needed a change of pace. And from what he's heard of you plus your interest, you seem perfect for the job! Really, he just craves to be beside you. Listen to you chatter as you both work the soil, see the sweat roll down your neck on hot days-

The difference between Papa I and everyone else on the list here is that he probably won't make a grand move or gesture. He pines. Hopes that you'll see his feelings and his darkness and love all of it. But deep down he knows how unlikely that is. That one day he'll show you the beauty of ritual hands on. See the blood glisten oh-so-beautifully on your skin. He still sighs happily thinking on it.

If you never express feelings for him, he basically devotes himself to making your life better, in his perspective. Changes your work schedule so its timed well for you to get a good night's rest. Looks out for things you might *need.* If there is anything you want to learn, he's more than happy to show you himself or help you get the resources you need. When it might get bad is when someone expresses interest in you, or you to someone. Ah… well. They're just not good enough for you. Not in his mind. He'll tell you rumors he's heard. Talk to them directly to get them to back off. He has an entire checklist in his mind that they have to meet. Pretty much no one will.

If someone does (its possible but unlikely), however, he feels his heart break. He still pines. And longs. But he lets you go to that person. After all, no matter what horrible things hes done, he wants you to be happy. His heartache is worth that.

Papa II- Papa II as a villain is actually a lot closer to the steteotypes and rumors about him normally- ruthless, cold, and seemingly doesn't care about others. He has this anger deep in his core that is never fully expressed. Truly, he is a sadist in that he usually enjoys the pain of others at his hands. Likes helping out on those rare occasions torture is a thing with Papa I in the lower underground sections of the church. Always seems like hes looking for someone to punish, and usually in a very unpleasant way. Yes, this has extended to death if he deems the "crime" severe enough. The sadism extends into the bedroom for harsh "games"- however he's not a monster when it comes to sexual partners. Still gives them aftercare, even if its a tad on the unfeeling side and more out of obligation.

It probably wasn't just one thing that put you in his sights. He noticed you one day probably doing something kind and kept running into you. He likes picturing your heart racing when you see him, like prey in the face of danger. Over time he starts developing a fondess that he can't quite deny. It's strange. Its been so long since he's genuinely felt this way about anyone, he doesn't know how to react at first. So he pulls out some stops. You get letters, at first, delivered by a ghoul. Later they come with expensive gifts he thinks you'll look good in or enjoy. You should wear it. It pleases him so much to see wear something he got you. Its sort of a subtle claim in his mind. He does expect replies delivered to a certain ghoul or place. Eventually the ghoul comes and there isn't a letter. You're being summoned.

He asks you straightforward to be his prime mover. He's honest in his intentions that he wants you exclusive only to him. He would give you the same if you asked. In fact, he would give you almost anything if you asked. At first this might all seem business but you might notice the slight flush in his cheeks, the unusual hesitation in his voice- little tells. Also the fact he's never asked anyone to be his prime mover, as far as you know. If you say yes, you find he's more gentle when its just the two of you. He has this warm smile in bed you'll catch. He kisses your forehead softly and its this aching tenderness. When others are around, no one would ever know.

If you say no, you are dismissed and he thanks you for your time. Its as if you don't exist to him after that. He just… walks past you like a ghost. Won't acknowledge you if you were to say anything, though I certainly wouldn't. Basically the walls he let down for a brief moment are back up and reinforced. It hurts to see you around, but hes stronger than that. There are things to do in the church. He'll take out these feelings on someone else.

Papa III- As a villain, Papa III is a siren. He's beautiful, says all the right things and pulls lost souls down to the depths with him. On a quick glance, he just seems like someone very devout to the principles of the church and/or hedonistic party guy. His favorite thing to do is lure new people to the church, have them do horrible things and then offer shelter from the other world who will no longer accept them. All with a cute wink or a few silver laced words. This applies to his relationships. He moves fast and likes whoever is interesting at the time- platonic, romantic, alliances. If he decides you're not fun anymore, you get a kick to the curb if the former. The latter usually just ends up to some horrible fate. He thrives on people wanting him so badly they would do anything.

Which is why you as a concept is frustrating. Likely he's already picked you up as someone to have around as a casual fuck or in his "entourage", so to speak. He doesn't fuck around when he wants someone. But you've lasted so long, held his interest. There's a shitty little mercurial part of him that keeps denying what should be obvious. Some days he thinks he'll get rid of you in the morning. Other days he thinks how he can't live without you. He probably has his epiphany when someone else suggests it might be time for you to go. His reaction is filled with anger and aggression. The person seemingly disappeared the next day.

Suddenly he'll be a lot more affectionate. Act like you're his partner in how he conducts himself instead of a follower. All his other sex partners are dumped but not replaced. He asks you be exclusive and practically fucks you to oblivion when you agree. He took after his father in the wolfish smile department. That's what you get from him if you start questioning any of this. Why wouldn't he? You're his favorite. He loves you. The truth of the matter is, even if you didn't love him back, as long as you don't betray him- it stays like this. He adores you and wants you at his side.

If you had answered no to any of it in the first place, he would have gone on without a thought. Oh well!

Papa Copia- Copia is pulling all the strings. He has been for quite a long time. That's why he's papa now, no? Everything and everyone is bent to his will, at least for now until they need another reminder. He's had others killed or just plain framed to get them out of his way. But through it all, the shy and incredibly awkward mannerisms he exaggerated to put peoples guards down, were the most real around you. In gatherings in the church he'd find himself staring, quiet and calculating. He'd slip into fancies about what it would be like to have you romantically. Something about you makes him feel… like an ordinary man. The vulnerability made his heart race and dangle over an imaginary precipice.

Once the new Papacy is official, he comes to you, privately. No, you're not in trouble, he smiles and gives a nervous laugh. He has a proposal. He wants you to be his prime mover. His jewel above all others. If you accept, you'll be treated like royalty in the church. Hanging on his arm at events where no one would dare to touch you or speak ill of you. Sometimes when you're alone he just likes to hold you. Out of all the terrible, rotten things on this earth, you're actually his. Once he realizes he can trust you, he tends to have more vulnerable moments. Things he's probably never told anyone. No matter how stained his hands, he will make sure you are never hurt.

However, you're free to tell him no- He'll be shocked, perhaps try to charm his way. If you still say no, he leaves to think on it. As much as it pains him, if he cannot have you, he would rather not see you at all. He's not going to kill you or hurt you though, no- you might think so for a moment when you're pulled into his office with Imperator behind him. Instead he tells you with some regret that you are to be transferred to another church. He'll miss you, as will the members of the main church of course. But you're needed elsewhere. That's it. As if it was just routine. The next week you leave and he watches you from a window, something in his chest aching. You are his soft spot. And he can't risk having that exposed if he can't have you.

Fluffy A-Z: Johnny

A: activities (things you’d do together)

Johnny’s very daring so I can see him wanting to do things like skydiving, scuba diving, etc, together. If you’re not too into that kind of adrenaline rush, I think he’d still enjoy going to an amusement park or doing anything else that’s fairly active. I think he’d enjoy something like the tandem bike ride he and Yuta went on during the 24-hour relay. He seems to like learning “new thangs” (see what I did there? 😜) as well, so I could see you doing some things like on JCC - taking an art or cooking class, learning to salsa dance together, etc.

B: beauty (things about you he finds physically appealing)

I think he’s stated before that he’s a sucker for a good smile. He’s always smiling himself and I really think he looks for people who are as upbeat and optimistic as he is. That’s why I really feel like the first thing he’d notice about someone is their smile, and why it’s his favorite physical attribute of yours.

C: cuddle style

Johnny is sometimes seen as a bit scary but I think he gets really cute when he wants to cuddle. I think he’d pout and use a cute voice if he was trying to convince you to cuddle with him. When you give in, he’d wrap his arms around you and pull you as close as possible. Johnny is capable of just cuddling for hours on end if he’s in the right mood. Sometimes those cuddles will lead to something more sexual. But just as often, those cuddles end in the two of you falling asleep in each other’s arms.

D: deal breakers (relationship deal breakers for him)

For Johnny, someone who is very pessimistic or someone who complains about everything would be a definite deal breaker. He’s very optimistic himself and I don’t think this would be a difference that could be overcome. Dealing with someone who complains all the time would be too emotionally and mentally draining for him.

E: education (what and how you learn from each other)

One of the things that makes Johnny really endearing is his outlook on and zest for life. I think that just by being around him, you would naturally absorb some of that energy. He also has a very optimistic outlook on life that’s really infectious - you’d never really know you were learning to be more like that, but it would definitely rub off on you.

F: first impression (the impression he gives off on your first date)

He comes across so confident that even if he was a bit nervous (not that I think he would be) I don’t think he’d ever show it. He would be so charming and friendly and he would make sure that you were both relaxed and having a good time. He’d keep it pretty casual on your first date so that neither of you felt any pressure and could just get to know each other a bit better and have some fun.

G: gifts (things he buys for you)

I think Johnny is more into spending time together than in giving you gifts. However, I also think he’s really good at remembering little things you say in your conversations. So if he randomly came across something that you mentioned liking or wanting, he would buy it for you as a way of letting you know he’s listening to you and thinking of you.

H: happy (when he’s the happiest with you)

I think Johnny’s the happiest with you when you’re both doing something together that’s a bit out of your comfort zones. It would make him so happy that you trust him enough to push some of your boundaries with him by your side (and vice versa). I really, really think that’s something he appreciates in a romantic partner because it builds so much trust and shows that you’re willing to take a risk for him.

I: introduction (when and how he introduces you to the people in his life)

Johnny would introduce you to everyone in a really natural way. There wouldn’t be any big event or meeting to introduce you to people. If you happened to be hanging out at the dorms when other members are there, he’d introduce you without any hesitation (even very early on in your relationship). Because his family is in the States, it might be a bit different. But he definitely wouldn’t hide your relationship from them. He’d bring you up casually in conversation so when you did meet them it would be no big deal.

J: jealousy

I actually don’t think Johnny is a very jealous person. Possessive, yes. Jealous, no. It would take a previous huge breech of trust to make him jealous. He wouldn’t get involved with someone he didn’t trust so I don’t think he worries too much about that. I’m sure he has some jealous moments (who doesn’t?), but they’re small and quick to come and go.

K: knew he was in love when ...

With Johnny, I don’t think there would be one singular moment where he was like, “yup, this is it”. I think it would be a build up of all the little moments from your relationship that make him realize his feelings for you. He would be in love before he realized it and wouldn’t be able to pinpoint the exact moment he fell in love with you.

L: love language

For giving, Johnny’s love language is quality time. There’s nothing he’d rather do than spend time with you even if it’s in small doses because of his (or your) schedule. Just carving out an hour here or there would be his way of showing you how committed he is to you and your relationship. For receiving, I think he’d like quality time (as mentioned above), words of affirmation, and gifts. Johnny gives a lot (his time, his effort, his attention, etc.) so I think he would really appreciate someone who just acknowledges and appreciates the things he does for them. I also think he’d really love getting small, meaningful or cute gifts from his partner for no reason. It would just show him that you’re thinking of him.

M: make-out session (his favorite type of kisses)

I feel like Johnny really likes kissing. A lot. And i think he enjoys a variety of types of kisses - from really deep and passionate to silly and sweet. But I think he really loves quick, random kisses (lips, cheeks, forehead - doesn’t matter where) when they are least expected. Whether it’s him or you doing the kissing, I think he loves the surprise of a quick, innocent kiss whenever the mood strikes you. In a way, those kinds of kisses show more vulnerability than deeper ones, and I think he appreciates the trust and innocence of those.

N: nicknames

I think Johnny would stick to calling you “baby” most often. He might give you a funny or teasing nickname based off an inside joke, but he’d only call you that when he wanted to tease you or get you riled up. Similarly, I think he’d like you calling him “babe”.

O: odor (what he smells like)

I’ve seen a few posts about the fragrances that NCT uses and most say that Johnny uses more fresh or watery scents (not sure where they get their info, though). I don’t think he wears cologne on a daily basis, though. So most of the time I think he just smells natural and like his laundry soap, shampoo, or aftershave. 

P: pda

I honestly think that he’d be fine with most pda (not a heavy make-out session, though). Johnny seems to be the kind of person that does what he wants most of the time. Not that he doesn’t care about everyone’s feelings, but he just realizes that he needs to do what makes him happy, and that would include holding your hand, hugging you, or giving you a kiss in public when he felt like it. No need to hide the fact that he loves you.

Q: quirks (odd things he does)

It’s not so odd, but I can see Johnny just watching you (not in a creepy way) at random times, like when you’re reading or cooking. There will be some habit or quirk of yours that you’re unaware of that he finds really endearing and it just makes him want to look at you to see if you’ll do it. I don’t think he’d point out your quirk for fear that you’ll stop doing it.

R: romantic gestures

Johnny seems like he’d be pretty romantic on a daily basis. He likes the small, everyday gestures that show you how he feels rather than large, grand romantic gestures. He’d make you pancakes in the shape of a heart and bring them to you in bed. He’d let you pick what movie to watch. He’d hold your hand at random times. He’d rub your back or feet. He’d send you a text when he heard a joke you’d like or when he saw something that reminded him of you.

S: saying I Love You (who says it first)

While I think that he’d fall in love first, you’d need to say it first. I have no reasoning other than it’s just a gut feeling I have about him.

T: tail (what kind of pets and animals you’ll have)

I picture him with a couple of dogs, maybe one cat. But that’s about it. I don’t see him wanting a farm with horses, goats, or llamas. He wouldn’t really see the point of fish or turtles (unless his kids begged for them). I do think he really likes dogs and would want to adopt some. I can see him saying he doesn’t really like cats but would secretly be a big softie for one (especially if you really want a cat).

U: upbringing (what kind of dad he’ll be)

When Johnny has kids he’ll be the best dad! He’ll be so active with them - building cushion forts, having sword fights with paper towel rolls, reading them stories, playing hide and seek, costume parties (just imagine him in a tiara having a tea party with his daughter and her stuffed animals ... 🥰). I think he’ll be the “fun” parent. While I think he’d have rules for his kids, he’d let them get away with minor stuff on occasion just because he would find them so cute while they were being naughty.

 V: vacation style

Personally, I think that Johnny would be so fun to travel with! He’d be up for almost anything and wound’t need to plan everything out ahead of time (though he’d be fine with a loose schedule/plan if you needed one). He’s more of the explore-and-see-what-we-can-find type of traveller. He’d love just walking around a city, getting lost, and being surprised at what he finds. I think he’d also really like doing active and/or adrenaline pumping things like surfing or bungee jumping. I see him more as a city guy than a country guy.

W: wild card

We all know how much Johnny enjoys photography and videography. So it should come as no shock that I think he’d try to take your picture all. the. time. He’d love watching you do everyday things (see Q above) and would try to capture those on film. After a while, I think it would be kind of a game between you - he sneakily tries to take a photo of you and you try to catch him and ruin the photo by sticking your tongue out at him. But those would be his favorite pictures!

X: eXtremes (the two extreme sides of his personality in a relationship)

I think that, for the most part, what you see is what you get with Johnny. He’s very easygoing with most things. Even if he has a different opinion about something, he’d oftentimes let it go because he knows that some things aren’t worth arguing/debating. However, I think there are some things he feels very strongly about. In that case, he can be very stubborn and will never give in. And in some cases when you’re arguing about it, I think he can get quite angry if you refuse to even recognize his opinion or tell him that his opinion is wrong.

Y: yes (how often he gives in to you)

I feel that with Johnny, he’d give in to your wants about 50% of the time. He’s very opinionated and sure in his wants and beliefs so it would take a very convincing argument to get him to give in. However, he’s also very reasonable and likes making sure that you feel heard as well. For something small (like where to eat dinner) he’d make you work for it by playfully or cutely begging even though he had every intention of going with your idea anyway.

Z: zzz (sleeping style when you’re together)

He’s the big spoon most often when you’re sleeping together, but I think Johnny also likes snuggling with your face in his chest. As long as he’s holding you in some way, he’s happy.

Your confidence was felled as you arrived at work after you realized two thirds of the way there that you had no idea how to transfer the flowers into the building. Your forehead fell forward, landing against your steering wheel as you groaned. You and Ian had somehow planned everything perfectly, even practicing how you would get Shayne into the conference room. “You have a theater degree!” Ian had shouted only the day before when you had urgently asked him to stay after hours to help you practice. “I hired you for your theater degree! What else did you lie about on your resume? Have you even acted?”

“My degree was more for screen writing,” you reminded him, voice edging on shrill. “I’ve written a quarter of Smosh’s scripts this past year, President Dumbass.” He opened his mouth to shout again but he stopped when you continued. “Listen, Ian, hearing Shayne ask me about my night before in the morning as I fix my coffee is like, the best part of my day and I really miss it. I don’t want to make it weird, I just want it to be nice. Please help me.”

Ian had grinned at you then, slapping a hand on his desk. “Come on, try it again.”

A knock on your passenger window pulled your head off your steering wheel instantly. You jolted, finger instinctively pushing down the door lock. Ian was waving frantically across from you. As you unlocked the door again, he slid into the passenger seat, cheeks flushed red. “Sorry, I thought you were dead. I ran down here.” He was breathing hard as he glanced at you. “I was waiting for you to get here so I could help you carry things so I was at the security desk. I saw your head slump down and thought you gave yourself a heart attack and die.”

“So you decided to kill me yourself, huh?” You responded, clutching the steering wheel tightly to stop yourself from reaching over and smacking your boss. Ian rolled his eyes. “Oh come on,” he huffed. “It’s the thought that counts, especially today of all days.” He gave you a grin before glancing into your back seat, whistling at the three boxes that awaited the two of you. “How’re you feeling about this?”

You popped your trunk before sighing, getting out of the car. “Not great. Some might say… a little bad?” You grabbed a box, pushing it into Ian’s arms. “Is Shayne in the office yet?”

“Oh yeah,” Ian scoffed. “He can’t even look at the decorations without rolling his eyes. Garrett has been considering recommending a counselor because it’s affecting people’s work, but I talked him out of it. Can I do anything to help you be less nervous? Not to put pressure on you but this could also go horribly wrong.”

“I’ve considered that, yes.” You stack two smaller pots on top of Ian’s box carefully. You considered it in the shower the previous evening, you had considered that the week before, you had considered that when writing your notes, you had considered it nearly every second. “You can help by either continuing to talk and hype me or just not… saying anything.” You sighed as you shut the trunk and headed towards the building, not waiting for him to catch up.

After you and Ian successfully brought everything into the conference room in the annex, you were feeling a little bit better. After coaxing yourself up just a bit more, you headed into the Squad office to put your plan into motion.

You shifted on your feet in front of his desk, waiting for him to take his Air Pods out. When his blue eyes finally met yours, you almost lost all of your momentum. He just seemed so down.

You knew that this was all for him, but knowing that you would be able to see his true reaction to everything in those ocean hues made your stomach twist. He almost seemed to sense this as he used your name to anchor you back into reality. “Y/N?”

The gentle tone in his voice encouraged you. “I wanted to talk to you about something,” you responded in a jumble. You took a breath to slow yourself down. “It’s not work related. Can you come with me into the conference room?” Your mouth shut tight, teeth ground down as to not pull your bottom lip between them. 

Shayne’s face shifted, his eyebrows rising high. As he placed his Air Pods in their case, he pushed himself up from his chair. “Uh, okay,” he answered slowly. “I kinda feel like I’m in trouble.” He gave you a sheepish smile, a question he didn’t quite ask hanging in the space between the two of you.

You almost explained it all right there. He looked so vulnerable and sad, like if this was some sort of prank he might break right there and lose it. You immediately looked at the floor, your body instantly trying to shrink back in on itself as your shoulders rose to your ear. As if conveniently, the grunting sounds of Ian clearing his throat in the annex immediately pulled you back.

This wasn’t about how you were going to feel about all of this. You were doing this for Shayne. If your theater degree could carry you through anything, it better carry you through a grand gesture. You had to remember to thank Ian later. Your shoulders dropped as you turned away from Shayne, heading into the annex. “You’re valid in feeling whatever you feel.” Your hands were beginning to sweat as you waited a full beat before Shayne followed after you.

“Alright, alright, you’ve got me intrigued.” He sighed, eyes falling from your face to the floor as he tried to ignore the pinks and purples cascading from the ceiling. You stayed a full half step in front of him, hoping he didn’t have a view of how wide your eyes were. As you approached the windows of the conference room, you finally slowed your pace down enough to glance at him evenly. His eyes were still on the carpet until they shifted to your face and then to the windows.

You stepped back, selfishly wanting to drink in the view. While there were so many parts of Shayne that you found distracting, you were captivated by the reactions on his face. His eyebrows rose with surprise as his eyes darted across each gift. “What?” He questioned. He grinned in disbelief, looking at you. “You meant the other conference room, right?” He thumbed over his shoulder but you shook your head, holding the door open for him. “Why?” He asked, the door held open with your foot.

You tried not to feel silly as you smiled back at him, waving your hand toward him. “No spoilers, let’s go.”

In shocked disbelief, Shayne stepped into the conference room. Your hands began to shake as he stepped closer to the bouquet. “Did you buy all these? Are they for everyone in the office?” He noticed the orchid and his mouth dropped. “Do I get to pick one?”

You didn’t anticipate his giddiness. You hadn’t planned for all of his questions so you simply watched him until his attention shifted back and finally onto you. Your cheeks darkened under his gaze and you gestured to the table. “I got you these,” you said loudly. You were scared that the voice that you had planned would be too quiet, that you would lose momentum as soon as you started. You glanced away from him, rummaging in your pocket to pull out your notes.

“You’ve been so sad and it’s been making me really sad and I know you like flowers and they help you feel happy so I thought you deserve to have something to remind you to be happy from someone nice.”

You opened the folded paper and glanced back up at his face, holding his gaze for a moment. “So if you could sit, pl—” You started, but suddenly his voice was over yours.

“Is this a prank?” His face had an expression you couldn’t read.

“No,” you responded. “Do you want to know what these are and their meanings or do you have other questions?”

Shayne narrowed his eyes as he slipped into a seat, chin tilted up toward you. “Yes. Am I in trouble?”

You weren’t sure how to answer and so you ignored him, glancing at your scribbled writing. You had gone over everything you had wanted to say and didn’t really need them, but it felt easier than looking Shayne in the eyes. “I know we don’t talk about serious things together but I seriously want you to know that I really miss hanging out with you in the mornings. I wanted to get you some flowers because you always seem to appreciate them and I thought that since you’re a graduated scholar, it might help for you to learn a little bit about some of them.”

Your eyes moved off of the paper and landed on him. You softened as you noticed his smile. “This is very thoughtful,” he softly replied, giving you the perfect encouragement.

“Well, you deserve it so… This carnation is white, so it means sweet and lovely.” Shayne made a small noise, a grin pasted on his face as he leaned back in his seat. You glanced at your scribbled notes, squinting as your pointed finger shifted to the next flower. “This one is a hibiscus because you’re like, the most beautiful person in this office or probably all of LA.” You could feel his eyes on your face and your shoulders rose as you quickly looked back at your notes. “Moving right along, we also have the daffodil to remind you that there will be new beginnings in the Spring. This crocus is for youthful happiness because all of your jokes are dumb and you laugh the loudest at them all, even with a bachelor’s degree. White jasmine is because you’re so sweet. A rose is for, uh…” Your notes shook in your hands.

“I know what a rose is for,” Shayne interrupted, leaning forward to pluck the deepest red one from the bouquet. “Love, desire, admiration…” He inspected the stem, then glanced at you with a smirk. “No thorns?”

The words were all a jumble in your head, but they somehow formed something coherent as they spilled from your mouth. “Because I didn’t want you to get hurt,” you replied softly.

Shayne’s smile grew wider and you noted the light pink roaming across his cheeks to the edges of his ears. You didn’t know his face could carry such a shade of color and you wondered what else might cause it. “I don’t know what to say,” he confessed breathlessly.

You felt yourself start to wilt until he was standing, starting to collect the bouquet and the orchid pot in his arms. “I just… walking helps me process thoughts better and I thought I could tell you my thoughts on the walk back to my desks with the second best surprise given to me at work.” You couldn’t stop grinning, even when his fingers brushed your wrist as he handed you the hibiscus plant, even when the two of you started to walk back and you noticed people scattering away from the annex hallway to give you space, even when after arriving at Shayne’s desk you hadn’t thought that there might be too many for all of them on his desk at the same time.

You kept grinning the rest of the day, even when an Instagram notification pulled at your attention later in the day. Swiping it open, you grinned at Shayne’s Instagram story. “Definitely in trouble,” captioned a photo taken from Courtney’s own story. Shayne was pictured at his desk, mid screeching laugh, surrounded by the thornless roses you had given him.

Author's Note: I was just reading some of @chocolvte​ ‘s work and I was on their Jaehyun as a boyfriend headcanon and it mentioned his love language being acts of service so I got inspired to write this instead of doing my digital painting assignment like I should be. Giving: Physical Touch

Chan is one of the touchiest people I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I, honestly, don’t even think he realizes just how touchy he is with the members. It’s not even just in the form of traditional things like hugging and cheek kisses, it can be as simple as running his hands through your hair or putting his hand on your knee, Chris just has to have SOME type of physical contact with the people he cares about. I honestly don’t even have an explanation as to why he seems to have this pathological need to touch people, half of the time it just seems like something he does to keep his hands busy. But Channie has to feel relatively comfortable with not only the people but also the environment for him to do it. Like, I notice he keeps his hands to himself almost completely when they’re at interviews, award shows, etc. But if they’re on Vlive or at a concert where it’s just STAY and he feels comfortable then he turns into an octopus. So there’s probably some small type of intimacy behind it. If you’re with Chan, you will probably never sit on a seat again, just his lap. You’re gonna be his cuddle buddy, hold his hand when you go to the mall, get your forehead and cheeks kissed constantly. You’ll end up being quite used to the feeling of his hands SOMEWHERE on you and it will probably end up being really comforting to you, leaving you feeling almost naked when he isn’t there to be touching you.

This is quite ironic because Chan’s the one with the busy schedule in the relationship, but maybe that reason makes it make even more sense for him to value spending time with you so much. Chan values both types of quality time, the time where you’re both doing your own thing in the same room, feeding off each other’s presence, and the type where you get rid of the phone, Netflix, and all other distractions to just focus on each other. If you REALLY want to make his heart flutter, move your schedule around to fit in time to see him. He won’t want you to blow off responsibilities for him or make your life revolve around him or anything like that. But it will warm his heart to see you racing into the JYP building on what is supposed to be your break, just to have fifteen minutes with him. He likes knowing that he’s important to you and that you like being with him so much that you’re willing to shift things around a little to find time in the day to see him. Woojin is almost as good as Minho when it comes to acts of service. They don’t come quite as naturally to him as Minho, but if anything, that makes it even more endearing. Woojin wants to make your life easier, make you as happy as you’ve made him. So even though he’s not used to it at first, he’s determined to do all the little acts of service until it becomes second nature. He wants you to associate him with happiness and stability, wants you to feel really warm whenever you see some small act that he’s performed that helps you throughout your busy day,

Receiving: Quality Time

Woojin will love any efforts made to spend quality time with him. And while he does appreciate the kind of quality time in which you both are doing separate things in each other’s presence, what really gets his uwus going is when it’s nothing but you two and some soft background music. He loves just talking to you, loves having the kind of connection where hours can go by with you two just carrying on a conversation and it not getting boring.

Minho is going to be the undisputed KING of the acts of service love language. You are ALWAYS on his mind, and since it’s in Minho’s nature to pay close attention to his loved ones, their schedules, their interests, their personalities and habits, it’s only second-nature for him to just start unconsciously doing things for you. When you wake up, even though Minho’s already left for practice, you’ll see that he’s already set out your favorite pair of fluffy socks for you to wear and put your breakfast on the nightstand beside you. He’ll pick up any prescriptions you might have and learns all your favorite recipes. He SOMEHOW always squeezes in time in his busy schedule to make you snacks, delicious cookies and sweets that are always warm when you eat them. He always fills up a water bottle and reminds you to stay hydrated, always stays abreast of your schedule so he can pick you up from appointments if they’re in shady areas. He finds a way to fit himself into every area of your life and you can’t even picture being without him anymore, because all those little things add up and even though he has such a stressful schedule, he makes your life SO much easier.

Receiving: Words of Affirmation

This might seem hard to believe for some of you, but I get the feeling that words of affirmation really do it for Minho. He won’t ever really let you know, but it really soothes his spirit whenever you give him even the smallest of compliments. If you ever want to repay him for all the things he does for you, just compliment him! He loves to hear how much you loved something he cooked, how handsome he looked today, how good his outfit was, how thoughtful he is for doing such and such, how good he performed, etc. You can compliment him on pretty much anything and he’ll love it. Minho has a nature where he does a lot for others without expecting much in return and that can wear you down over time, especially when it goes unnoticed. Let him know that you notice and adore everything he does and he’ll be a blushing mess, giggling as he sweeps you into his arms and presses little kisses all over your face.

Changbin

Giving: Gifts

I think I’ve mentioned it before somewhere on this blog, but this is an underrated love language. Changbin is, in no way, trying to buy your affections. On the contrary, most of the gifts he gives aren’t even that grand. Like Minho, Changbin finds his mind filled with you often. So, it’s a common occurrence for him to be on tour and see something that reminds him of you. Sometimes they’re snow globes, sometimes their little figurines, sometimes it’s a cheesy tourist t-shirt, sometimes it might even be a weirdly patterned towel. But everytime he gives ou something, he’ll have the same sheepish look and downcast eyes as he hands it to you and mumbles, “I was thinking about you and thought you would like it.” And even though your relationship has a healthy amount of teasing, you never tease him for the things he brings you, no matter how random they are, because you know that he’s really shy about them, but also really sincere. It will make his heart skip a beat whenever he goes into a room of your apartment/house and sees something he got ou being displayed or put to good use.

Binnie Binnie Changbinnieeeee. It was hard for me to pin this one down for him. Originally, I was going to say acts of service and physical touch, but I think I’ve got it, hear me out. The first and foremost act of service Changbin appreciates is you letting him cling to you or you holding him. All the other little bits of skinship are great for him but not necessarily a requirement. Changbin will really appreciate the fact that you let him feel safe and secure by holding him tight or letting him cling onto your arm. You make him feel safe and he loves knowing that you might put up with the irritation of having this brawny man attached to you all the time, if it makes him feel better.

Hyunjin

Giving: Physical Touch

A t o u c h y boi. Hyunjin really values physical contact, we see how he is with the members. He’s going to constantly be all up in your face and he won’t even really be aware that he’s doing it. It’s so natural for him to pull you into his lap or give you back hugs, and kiss your cheek every couple hours. It’s like he has an internal battery that’s charged by physical contact with you. He doesn’t really think to say sweet things or bring you things all the time, but he loves touching you to remind you that he’s here and he’s yours and he absolutely adores you.

A v E rY t o u c h y boi. Hyunjin would probably be most compatible with someone who also shows their love through physical affection. He never refuses physical contact from the members, not even jokingly, and gets pouty whenever it’s taken away. This reassures him that he’s not bothering you with his touchiness and that you want to be with him just as much as he likes being with you. His heart flutters every time you pull him close or peck him on the lips. It makes his chest well up with emotion at the thought that you feel so much love for him that you can’t hold back from expressing it physically.

Han | Han Jisung

Another touchy boii, but I feel like it’s in a very different way for very different reasons than Hyunjin. Where Hyunjin shows you a lot of physical affection in the form of cute little kisses and attention gestures, Jisung LOVES holding you. Mostly all of his physical affection comes in the form of holding you. He loves hugging you or holding your hand. You’re like a security blanket for him. He feels a stressful amount of anxiety throughout the day, whether it be about social outings, schedules, music, his family, and when he holds you, it makes everything feel alright. If he’s really stressed, he’ll bury his face in your neck and just inhale your scent. He trusts you to see this as a sign of his love, because how could you not coo over how safe and happy you make him feel?

Receiving: Physical Touch

Jisung would like for you to return the physical touches. He’s fine with whatever you want to do, kissing him, hugging him, holding his hand, squishing his ADORABLE lil cheeks when he eats, he literally doesn’t care as long as you’re touching him. He craves not only the security of your touch, but also the internal knowledge that you like him enough to want to touch him. He loves the idea that he’s desired enough by you for you to see out physical affection.

Felix

Giving: Quality Time and Giving Gifts

Felix is a giver, that’s for sure. You’re never going to feel like he doesn’t care. Between him trying to spend time with you and him giving you things, you’re probably going to be convinced that you’ve found the perfect man. Unlike Changbin, whose gifts are random and, oftentimes, can't even be explained by him, Felix’s gives mostly revolve around flowers, food, and couple items. The flowers won’t always be expensive, you can expect roses on special occasions, but most of the time, they’ll probably just be a small clump of wildflowers he saw at the park or a few baby’s breaths that reminded him of you. Food will be a recurring gift, from ice cream to hamburgers to bibimbap, Felix will make sure you have ample snacks to brighten your day. The couple items won’t really be anything obnoxious. It will most likely be things like complimenting rings or matching beanies or charm bracelets. Felix, like Jeongin, will also love spending time with you. You two are partners in crime, going almost everywhere together. To Felix, you’re like an extra limb, a very necessary part of him that he would really rather not be without and whenever people see one of you somewhere without the other, they will immediately wonder what’s wrong.

Felix, like Minho, will probably thrive on words of affirmation. This stems from multiple things; his elimination, his struggle to pick up Korean, having to pick up and move to a foreign culture and learn the culture, his insecurities about himself as an artist, his fear that he isn’t a good boyfriend because of how busy he is, the list goes on and on. Felix doesn’t want you to compliment him quite as much as Minho does, then he might think you’re lying, but he does want it quite often. He wants to hear verbally, in no uncertain terms, that he’s doing a great job and that you love him just the way he is.

Seungmin

Giving: Acts of Service

Another servant over here. Nah, jk, jk. Seungmin will probably have really incognito acts of service. Like seriously, you probably won’t ever notice. It’ll be sly stuff like always moving your shoes in the doorway so you won’t trip, always check to make sure you have an umbrella and spare tire in your car, putting tape on sharp corners of your furniture so you won’t bump into them and get hurt, always making sure things in your kitchen are on the bottom shelf, making sure your fridge is always stocked with relatively healthy essentials. Seungmin doesn’t even really expect for you to notice the things he does, but if you ever do, he’s going to blush really intensely and try to quickly skate over the topic, only shutting up when you plant a big kiss on his cheek that renders him incapable of speech for the next two hours.

Receiving: Physical Touch and Receiving Gifts

Seungmin is a bit complicated. He’s going to pretend like your skinship really annoys him, but, in truth, he thrives on it. I notice that with the members, he doesn’t really actively cuddle them much but they always do so to him and he looks pretty happy about it, even if he sometimes pretends otherwise, and it’ll be the same in your relationship. He appreciates being desired and sought after, likes seeing you work for his affection and knowing you value you it enough to do so. As for the gifts part, he won’t really want anything extravagant. He wants small, thoughtful gifts, getting him his favorite food at the end of a long week, getting him a backup charger in case he loses his, a wallet to carry his passport in that has his favorite superhero on it, that kind of stuff. He likes knowing that he’s on your mind as much as you’re on his.

I.N. | Yang Jeongin

Giving: Quality Time

Relationships are probably very new to Jeongin. He’s spent so much of his life just being completely devoted to his job that he probably doesn’t have much time for them. So he’s the type who probably still thinks its too nerve-wracking or embarrassing for you to cuddle him or say sweet words to him. We’ve all seen how he acts with the members. You’ll know Jeongin loves you by the sheer amount of time he spends in your presence. Jeongin is going to want to spend damn near every second with you. He just finds it so comfortable and easy to be around you. You bring out the best in him and make him feel like he can really be himself. You two will spend as much time as possible together laughing at memes, watching funny youtube videos, talking about conspiracy theories, and getting into trouble together. He may not be as touchy or silver-tongued as some of the other members, but you can bet that he’ll always be right beside you through thick and thin.

Receiving: Acts of Service

If you want to make Jeongin MELT, the key will be in the little things. Big gestures or soliloquies about your love for him will make him severely uncomfortable, but he will absolutely adore you doing little things like bringing him food at practice, setting a pair of comfy sweatpants out for him to change into when he comes home from practice, getting an extra chocolate milk for him on your break and putting it in the fridge for him for when he comes home. He loves the idea that he’s on your mind throughout the day and that you care enough for him to do little things throughout the day to make his life easier and to let him know he’s loved and cared for.

Hello (: I decided to do headcanons for this one because I thought it fit better, hope you enjoy it!

Suga

He’s a very thoughtful boyfriend, and has probably already decided what to do way before the day approaches.

He meets you in school and immediately wishes you before the two of you have to attend classes

But !!! During break, he takes you up to the rooftop for a romantic lunch date ((: There’s a little picnic mat with food and desserts and drinks! It’s super cute and intimate

If after break ends and you go your separate ways you think he’s done, you’re wrong! Throughout the say you find cute little notes everywhere (your bag, between your notes, in your locker etc) about how pretty you look or how much he loves you

Honestly would just make your whole day (:

I don’t think he would expect you to do anything for him so when you tell him you have a cute date planned after school he’s already super touched

He would probably prefer to do something super chill and not too energy consuming, so going to an aquarium after school or visiting a pet cafe would be a fun little valentine’s day date with this boy

I can see him being someone who treasures memories a lot so if you bring along a polaroid camera that day and take pictures of the two of you throughout the day, and then make him a cute collage, he would literally be so happy

I think everything the two of you do for each other perfectly complements one another so the whole day ends up being extremely memorable.

Hinata

This boy really wants to do something special for his s/o but has NO clue about how to go about it

He spends hours picking out a gift because he doesn’t exactly want to overwhelm you but he still wants to get you something special?

Ends up doing some last minute shopping with his mom the day before valentine’s day and buys you one of those cheesy teddy bears that hold up a plush heart

After school though, he has a really cute date planned for the both of you.

I see him as someone who would love energetic dates? So maybe because Valentine’s day is a special day he takes you out for rollerblading at the park and it’s super cute and romantic because he SUCKS at it so he’s constantly clinging on to you

For you, making Hinata some homemade chocolates would be one of the best gifts you could possibly give him. Especially of this is one of the first Valentine’s day celebration in you relationship

The idea that you stayed up to make chocolates just for him would make him incredibly happy

Overall, it’s a wholesome day for the both of you hehe

Oikawa

I feel like he’s someone who would 100% go overboard with all this romantic stuff

He has probably been planning for weeks and would want to surprise you with some grand romantic gesture (possibly involving you becoming embarrassed in public)

Inevitably, he enlists the help of Iwaizumi to plan a surprise gift for you during your break in school

So picture this, you’ve just finished your lessons and you’re walking to your locker

And then when you open it, you get slammed in the face with some heart-shaped helium balloons !! Everyone is staring at you, and then when you finally move the balloons out of your locker, you see a huge bouquet of roses stuffed inside as well. Very cute, very dramatic. Expect nothing less from this pretty boy.

Of course you immediately know who its from and now you’re lugging around a bunch of balloons and a whole ass bouquet around the school

When the two of you do eventually meet in school, he’s constantly by your side and is 10 times more lovey dovey than he is usually

After school you guys would probably go out to celebrate properly. A light dinner and maybe spend the evening at an arcade doing those cute dance games together

Basically, Oikawa is a very openly affectionate person so expect a lot of public displays of affection and grand gestures

Because of this, you would probably do something equally romantic for him. Maybe get him one of those little bears that can record a message and sing his favourite love song. Give that to him and he would cherish it forever because wtf that’s adorable.

Aight so,how about some hcs for Lucifer(sfw) being MC’s bf?(ex:is he loyal,dates,pda,what they do in private zone,etc)

Welp, let’s see what all I can write about this (I think quite a bit, but not enough for a novel lol).

Lucifer is definitely loyal. When he is with someone, he really is with just that one person, period. And if MC is okay with it, he might sometimes even show her off and at the same time make painfully clear to whoever is watching that she is completely. Off. Limits. 

I had to think a bit with the PDA. My initial reaction was nah, he’s a private person and doesn’t care for these things. But I’m actually going to say that he is fine with PDA. They’re not going to be any grand gestures, but he can give MC soft and quick kisses when he feels like they’re fit. Plus there’s hand holding. Which I imagine is something that he can actually ask for first.

Even in my opinion Lucifer doesn’t settle for anything less than the best of the best and that most likely will show if he takes MC out to eat or buys a gift. It’s always going to be an expensive upper class restaurant (unless MC has specified she wants something casual). With gifts it’s probably going to be more along the lines of him spotting MC watching something from a window. And if it goes on long enough, he’ll just walk in and buy the item for her. (Although I’m sure he can be sneaky about this too, for things like birthdays etc.)

In private I can imagine the two just sitting on a couch, MC curling up against Lucifer in front of a fireplace. They both might read/do their own things, but he would keep petting her hair or playing with it idly. (Idk why but I think that a couple that can spend time together in silence for a while is a cute concept.)

Also I don’t know is it just a me thing because I like cooking, but I can also imagine MC cooking from time to time for Lucifer. Sometimes a dinner just for the two of them, sometimes lunch when she knows it’s going to be a long day for him and he needs to eat.

2. Does your f/o have trouble expressing love to you?

Dshdhdh Rose is very soft and has so much love for everything he cares about so I think he’d find it pretty easy to love and express love! He finds it easy to say I love you and likes to express love with gifts and grand gestures ☺️ (although he probably gets anxious sometimes about whether I’ll like his gifts, and of course I will because it’s how he tells me he loves me 😌)

Valjean is also Very Soft And Full Of Love, but this idiot darling man loves while keeping himself distant from people and without letting himself be loved back, so I think the hard part would be learning to express love and receive love back without trying to keep a distance from me. I’m gonna make sure he knows that he deserves love and learns to accept love from other people tho 😌

I still feel weird making any kind of s/i irt Zira so I’m leaving him out of these asks even though I love him equally as much uwu

3. Do you have trouble expressing love to your f/o?

I always feel weird expressing feelings when I first get to know and like someone (even platonically ^^’) because I feel like it makes me look like I care too much shdbdbsj ^^’ but Rose being very open with expressing love would probably encourage me to do the same, and even though expressing love to Valjean would probably start as making sure he looks after himself and eats and preforms self care, we would both get more comfortable with expressing love over time uwu

7. What’s your f/o’s style of affection? (Soft, reserved, nonstop, etc.)

Rose and Valjean both like to buy me stuff as a form of affection dsdbdbsbdh :,3

Sometimes affection from Valjean is just both of us sitting together quietly and doing our own thing and sometimes it’s cuddles and sometimes it’s dumb stuff like my Strong Ass Husband lifting me up and spinning me around u/w/u Valjean’s affection is soft and mostly consists of just comfortably existing together and doing domestic things with each other ☺️

Rose is extroverted and likes lots of physical touch but he understands when I need quiet time to myself 😌

12. Are you and your f/o comfortable with saying “I love you” in front of others?

Since Rose is the chairman of Galar, we have the media to worry about, but once we decide we want to be public about being together we’ll say I love you in front of anyone (the whole region knows anyway ^^’)

I feel like in the beginning with Valjean we’d both feel a little weird about it, like,,, is this allowed?? Dhsvdv :,3 but we’d both get used to it and Cosette would think it was cute and be happy her dad was Actually Talking About His Feelings uwu

B, K, and R for Clizzy?

B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them

OKAY omg so Clary thinks Izzy is the most beautiful person in the entire world. The platonic ideal. And she tells her this all the time and also loves when Izzy models for her to paint or draw bc she gets to appreciate every single inch of her. But specifically she thinks Izzy’s smile is the prettiest thing in the world and she constantly does cute/dumb things just to make Izzy smile at her. She also really admires how Izzy doesn’t take shit from anyone and how independent she is.

Izzy loves Clary’s hair and she really enjoys playing with. She likes to put it in all kinds of elaborate hairstyles and also likes washing Clary’s hair for her. Clary loves it bc Izzy has all kinda of fancy hair products that she would never understand how to use and also bc she gets to have her gf play with her hair for hours and it’s very nice and calming. Izzy also thinks clary has the prettiest eyes. 11/10 would stare into for hours. She really admires Clary’s tenacity and determination. They’re both little spitfires and they love that about each other.

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Izzy is an amazing kisser. She prides herself on it. She’s very good at guiding Clary when she’s unsure and always knows exactly what to do with her hands while making out to drive Clary absolutely insane. Clary, on the other hand, was not a great kisser when she first started dating Izzy but she made up for it in passion. Shes improving bc she’s a very quick study and well they get a lot of practice. Clary’s very determined so she took things a little too fast in their first kiss and ended up like, knocking their teeth and noses together a bunch but Izzy did not mind at all. They were definitely giggling about it while still trying to kiss but eventually they quieted down and Izzy cupped Clary’s face with a hand to help guide her and things got a little more heated from there.

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

They’re both romantic saps and they both love a mix of cliche and super creative things to show they love each other. They both love flowers and such, Izzy gets Clary pretty bouquets with flowers that remind Izzy of her and Clary likes to give Izzy wildflower bouquets. They have a bunch of flowers in their apartment in window boxes that they take care of like their children but Clary is the only one that remembers to water them. Clary gives Izzy paintings and drawings and when Izzy is feeling down Clary will leave her cute little notes with adorable cartoon drawings on them to make her feel better. Izzy’s very big into grand romantic gestures for her gf and does the whole like bed covered in rose petals, candles, etc for their anniversary. Clary does a lot of small things-sketches and pictures of Izzy, buying her little gifts that remind Clary of her, etc. They both love spoiling each other.

howl's moving castle: thoughts on movie vs book

it’s been one of my most fav movies for years and years and this past summer i finally read the book too, so i wrote down this huge thing bc i had so many thoughts and then proceeded to let it marinate in my drafts for months bc i just forgot hfgjkvfbfdjkg

it was a very interesting experience, i was a bit afraid that i wasn’t gonna like the book because i already knew it was quite different from the movie, but actually i ended up really enjoying it (i guess i’m a sucker for stories with different versions / parallel universes or sth)

but now finally, here we go (beware spoilers and a long ass text, somewhat badly written cus english is not my first language and my lazy ass doesn’t feel like spell checking or making it better in general etc dfhskj):

things i like better in the movie

- the main plot. i didn’t dislike it completely in the book, but many things left me kind of confused, especially towards the end, for exemple those two men mixed together, and who was the turnip man working for again, and miss angorian i think being a demon¿¿ i was like What, that came out of nowhere and i felt like i didn’t ‘buy it’ or sth. i think the witch of the waste being alive but not powerful anymore, becoming the family’s lil obachan, the whole war thing, less secondary caracteres, etc etc etc, made it more clear and ‘impactful’, concise

- the romance was handled better imo. in the book, them ‘holding hands and being happily ever after’ came so suddenly, they were bickering all the time, then it happens, and then bam: the end (also i liked the scene where sophie puts his heart back better in the movie, it felt less 'crowded’ and more magical or sth). in the movie, there’s suliman plainly stating it, sophie says it too, howl tells her she’s beautiful; we see it happening slowly and by the end it just makes sense 

 - the fact that it’s a ghibli, a very ghibli ghibli hahgsd i mean of course it’s a different medium, but i gotta say i really love the movie with its beautiful animation and soundrack and and blue skies and green grass and fresh laundry floating in the wind next to the magical castle where a cute wizard lives in his beautiful super intricate bedroom etcetcetc. all the visuals and soundtrack really add to the story

things i like better in the book

- sophie is a witch too!!!!! i thought this was so important, the whole thing with her sort of literally cursing herself with her negative thinking, and then overcoming that, i’m a bit sad that it doesn’t exist or isn’t as clear in the movie

- on a somewhat similar note, i loved her being ‘more equal to howl’, talking to some hats, discovering her own powers, arguing with him a lot, deciding she wants a flower shop because she’s tired of hats and those fields would then come in handy, instead of the whole thing feeling like this Grand Magical Romantic Gesture, a gift from Prince Enchanted Howl. i still love the film ofc but by now i’ve had Enough of this trope, and in rewatching recently i hateed things like when he said ‘now i found someone i want to Protect it’s u my beloved’ or sth hhhhskshdjdhgn

- as i said, a big part of the book plot i found kinda confusing, but a thing they cut out that i did quite like was sophie’s family. i feel that we get to know them a lot better, i liked the two sisters, i liked fanny’s character better, i feel that the whole thing made a bit more sense idk. also i kind of disliked how in the movie they made fanny and lettie look so so different from sophie.

things that are different in the two versions but i like them the way they are

- in the book, howl being from the ‘real world’? from like wales?? omg i found this so funny for some reason, can you imagine, him on his welsh rugby hoodie and everything loll. but i feel like that wouldn’t work really well on the movie, so i was okay with them removing that part

- also learning more about michael/markl’s backstory, and his thing with martha, i thought it was sweet
