I decided pretty early on that Ronnie doesn't like coffee, but is really into herbal and floral teas, a habit they picked up from back home (I imagine something as frivolous as tea from dried flowers would be quite the luxury in Orzammar). They usually have at least 2 or 3 types on hand, some of them their own homemade blends, and even has a fine china tea set in their room at the lighthouse.

Then I got that scene where Harding is trying coffee and very obviously hating it, but she's always standing around holding a mug with something hot(?) in it, which I'm guessing has to be tea?

So now I'm just imaging the two of them as those couples with 15 different kinds of tea in their cupboards, most of which are grown and dried by Harding herself, always served in a nice tea pot with flowers painted on it and matching tea cups

i'm really enjoying frank lately! larry linville must be the single most charming dude in real life for frank to be sooo insufferable in every single way the writers can come up with, while also being so likable to watch

"house arrest"!!! i laughed out loud so many times

i was so surprised that hawkeye actually punched frank that i went back to rewatch the setup, and that whole scene is GOLD

hawkeye genuinely deserving a smackdown, margaret begging frank to pick up a clue, trapper and hawkeye gleefully watching them argue (please tell me someone has giffed them snuggling at the sink), the ceremonial passing of towels, the surprise punch... top shelf

every combination of m*a*s*h characters is funny, but the scenes with just the four squabbling kids are on a level of their own

Fallen london involves collecting a full menagerie so it's very hard for me to not decide my OCs have animal companions.

Grietje has a messenger bat named Malachai— he has tremendous anxiety and takes triple the time to carry messages as he takes any route possible to avoid confrontation. (He gets bullied </3) He's actually a white zee bat Enoch gave her, and feels some calling East... but is just too afraid of the zee to seek it.

Grietje also knows Miserywhiskers. It is a stray cat who has adopted Grietje (It denies affection entirely but keeps coming back). Misery is old and scungy and doesn't get on with other cats (or anyone) but insists on curling up on Grietje's lap and purrs in its sleep.

Enoch does not like animals, except he does. He finds keeping a pet quite contrary to his lifestyle of hedonism/zee death. But one day there was a mutt found on his docked ship, sleeping by weaponry... who he named Gunner. Gunner loves zailing, though Enoch does not fail further than the cost when he's on board. He adores his dog soooo much but is also like "I must not show weakness or it will be used against me" and hides this.

so, my partner's birthday is coming up in like a month, and he's a nerd (affectionate bc i'm a nerd too like y'all know me !!!). i've been trying to find the perfect thing to get him, and literally, as if my perfect gift vibes radiated out to the ether . . . this gadget that's been sold out for months was re-stocked this morning. the best way to describe it is that it can be programmed and customized, and a lot of people use it to play old games from various consoles! now, my partner isn't one to like keep up with things like this! he doesn't get any marketing emails or anything either . . . so i thought i was gonna be able to just slip onto the website this morning, order this thing in his favorite color, then surprise him on his birthday.

tell me why... while i'm in a meeting and dropping this thing into my virtual shopping cart, he peeks his head into the room?? i scrambled to shut my mac, and i thought i was in the clear . . . but this man's gonna go and text me: 'i have the same thing in my cart in the exact same color! :)' and i had to fess up to the birthday surprise. 😭 he is very touched and excited, but wah!
