nina is an aquarius because i wanted her birthday to be Feb 13. cuz thats a day before valentines day, and i wanted her to always be short of love

jeff and liu are geminis because i wanted them to be the twins. i also chose lius birthday to be the first day of summer! just cuz i liked it

jane as capricorn because shes very driven, hardworking, smart, etc

jack as sagittarius because i wanted him to have a december/winter bday... and i thought sagittarius fit his past personality before the sacrifice

ben is also sagittarius. dunno why? im gonna change him to be a leo or libra cuz im lacking those two and he seems more summer/fall birthday...

sally is taurus cuz i wanted her to be born in may. cuz 'april showers bring may flowers' is a pretty phrase to me. and 9 is a pretty number, so may 9

lulu is a pisces cuz i wanted her to have a december/winter bday too. i just associate december with this deep navy blue that works for jack and lulu...

ann is scorpio cuz i wanted her to have an october birthday and scorpio just fit the vibe

dina is a virgo cuz i wanted to have a virgo and its ruled by mercury which i read something about being seen as the messenger for the gods, which is perf for dina. and the date is 28/8/08 which sorta resembles an angel number LOL. i WAS gonna make her birthday 1/11 or 2/22 but i already had enough of those zodiacs. we'll see if i move things around though!

lazari is a capricorn . i was actually gonna make her a capricorn before i realized her birthday is cannonically on christmas BECAAUUUSE capricorns are goats and goats are considered demonic etc etc.

1. acts of service.

def his top way to express his love. he likes doing things for you that would make your life even the tiniest bit easier. don’t feel like cleaning the kitchen today? he’s got you. don’t wanna get up and refill your water? he’s way ahead of you. i see him as a caregiver, mostly based off of how he treats those around him. he’s always teaching someone something, making sure they eat, etc etc. he’s ready to do anything for you at a moments notice just so he can see a smile on your face and feel relaxed.

2. words of affirmation.

this man always knows what to say to make someone feel better. i don’t think it’s his top way to express his love because he honestly does this for most people, even strangers. ofc he will step it up for someone he loves but he just has the gift of gab. he will tease you relentlessly but it’s out of love, he swears. if you’re having a bad day where you can’t take the teasing, he will instead fill your mind with praises and affectionate words. he’ll go on and on with how much you mean to him, the reasons he loves you, you name it !!!

3. gift giving.

i feel like kuroo is really good at getting you the perfect gift but he doesn’t swamp you with them. every once in awhile he’ll get you flowers or he saw something that reminded him of you so he bought it. but around ur bday, christmas and valentine’s day?? OH MYYY. he really goes all out. he just wants to spoil you sm.

4. quality time.

kuroo def loves to be around you as much as possible but he also understands the importance of having some time apart. he knows you both have friends/family to see, hobbies to do, and mundane things like go to work/school. BUT when you guys have nothing to do?? he is so eager to spend his time around you. he loves nothing more than curling up on the couch and watching whatever show you want. he’ll def put up a fight for the remote but is happy to watch whatever you want. he just wants to be difficult to get more attention :’)

5. physical touch.

i am not saying that kuroo doesn’t express his love through physical touch, i just think he doesn’t crave it as much as others. (looking at u bokuto<3) BUT that being said, he can be a clingy baby. those lazy days when you guys have nothing to do? he wants nothing more than to hold you in his arms and plant kisses all over your cute lil face. you have to get up? okay, that’s fine, just expect him to follow you. he’ll hug you from behind or hold your hand. when he gets into this mood, you must provide all the snuggles and smooches. i don’t make the rules ok??

Okay so I think Zeke is anti holiday so he hates Xmas and even things like Valentine’s Day because he says it’s just another form of consumerism and that he can’t be fooled. Backstory:

- Joe & I have been together since we were 13, we went to the same secondary school & college (for Americans, same middle school & high school)

- we had been close friends since we were like 11, very visibly super close friends in school.

- when we started dating at the end of our second year, we spent the entire summer together.

- when we got back he just... pretended I didn't exist????

- anyway, we were still hanging out outside of school, but my school separate the year based on grades in third year, so I was placed in X and he was placed in Y, therefore we had 0 classes together

Hey girl! My best friend's 20th birthday is coming up and I was wondering if you had any good gift ideas. I'm not trying to break the bank but I still want to get something that's nicer than just a candle lol, thank you so much!

Here are a few ideas of gifts I’ve received/I’ve given throughout college:

swell water bottle: I got one of these last year for my birthday, and I absolutely love it. It’s super practical and useful. I ended up getting one for my sister!

mug/coffee cup: my bestie and I always give each other mugs/coffee cups for birthdays/christmas. I use mine all the time, and she uses hers! 

soaps/etc.: one of my friends gave me a real nice soap bar from Anthropologie this past year for Christmas, and I use it everyday! I’ve also received Lush gift cards from friends, and I’ve always loved those. I give Lush gift sets a lot- and they have a variety of price points. I always love giving/getting bath products.

makeup/jewelry: I recently got my sister some liquid lipsticks for Valentine’s Day because she loves liquid lipsticks. I also gave her a little banner that says ‘Cactus Queen’. She sent me a really cute choker necklace & cute stickers/stamps. I personally think jewelry & makeup are great gifts to give (and get!). 

cd’s: last year, I gave my bestie a few cd’s for her birthday (because her car doesn’t have an aux cord). I also think records are a cute gift idea if your friend loves music/has a record player (like my bestie does). 

plants: this may sound stupid, but I love getting/giving plants. I have received so many cute little succulents from friends over the years, and it always makes me happy. I gifted a lot of plants this summer in colorful pots!

This is a weird question I'm sure, but my my girlfriends birthday and also our one year anniversary are very close to valentines, and also Christmas... what kind of gifts or gift ideas do you have for your girlfriend?

for xmas i got some cool stuff that i thought she would like or need - a ton of makeup brushes (from BH cosmetics - rly great prices!) and a cool wall tapestry (from society6 - they have free shipping constantly) with a whale on it (she likes whale art) and a necklace w our initials on it. for her bday i’m doing like a diy wooden gift box and i’m going to fill it with little and more useful stuff (solar charger for camping/hiking/traveling, a cute wooden dugout, i ordered some lesbian earrings on etsy, essential oil - juniper which is her fave scent - and i’ll probably make a little cross stitch too or whatever else) and then i figure for valentine’s day i’ll like do an actual thing and we’ll go out and etc. i’ll post abt it when i figure it out. but basically bc it’s all so close together i had to be like, you know what, for her bday i’ll do more of an amalgamation of useful stuff, for xmas nice stuff, and then for v-day we’ll go out! you know?
