Starting on February 26th, 2025, Amazon is removing a feature from its website allowing you to download purchased books to a computer and then copy them manually to a Kindle over USB. It’s a feature that a lot of Kindle users are probably not aware of, given books can be more easily sent to devices over Wi-Fi, but it’s especially useful for backing up purchases or converting them to other formats compatible with non-Kindle e-readers.

how often do you run out of black coloured pencils? i am always afraid to use mine because getting black coloured pencils sold separately is hell on earth
its probably my second most frequently bought color next to white lol. yeah it is basically never in stock at my local blick, i usually just order them online. thankfully theyre pretty easy to find online (i assume bc theyre bought more often) even on amazon where i usually cant find individual pencils of the color i want. tho sometimes u can only find them in packs of 12 on there
#i buy my pencils from the blick website i would generally not reccomend getting them from amazon#theres way less on amazon and they usually cost more#blick has flat rate shipping so i usually only order from them when im buying a bunch of things at once#so that im not paying a bunch in shipping for just like 5 pencils lol

#melonposting#professor layton#henry ledore#cosplay#closet cosplay#aaah! this is my first time posting pictures with my actual face in them on here#more comfortable with it now that i'm actually over 18...#sorry that the image quality is so bad. that's just what my phone camera is like#anyway... this beautiful blue-green velvet blazer is perfect for henry isn't it?#i got it from my mom! if i'm not mistaken she made it herself (though i could be misremembering)#the shirt and tie are my dad's. and my aunt sent me the corduroy pants#sadly the socks and mary janes were amazon purchases. i got them both for senior prom: i'd wanted to thrift them but ran out of time#but it's both fitting and pleasing that most of the outfit is older stuff i've received from family members#and it's a closet cosplay! in theory i could wear this outfit whenever#as it is i was already wearing the shirt and pants and decided to put on the other stuff to take henry photos#it's all relatively easy to throw on (except for the tie). and it's comfortable enough too!#i can't imagine specifically buying a henry cosplay... i have it all right here :)#and my hair color and eye color already match his so y'know. i'm basically henry already#(and i realize i can dress up as his teen self fairly easily too. i have a green long sleeve button-up and tan pants and suspenders...)#(he's just like me for real!)

Guys you have to start going to brick and mortar stores again instead of buying every little damn thing online. I am so serious
#saying this bc look I don’t like joann’s fabrics as much as the next person#but looking at the chap 11 closures is truly hellish. we only have 3 of these stores in our state and they’re closing two of them#and I can’t help but think about how few options those communities will have to get anything afordable once they’re gone#and I’ve looked it up multiple times for my own purposes: there are so few fabric stores elsewhere in the state. like these go down#and online shopping will be the only option. and especially with something like fabric that can be a huge problem!#sometimes the websites can be reliable enough to tell you thread count and weave and weight but there are soooo many websites that do not#so you could easily get stuck with some fucked fabric and then what!#not to mention on top of shipping shit can get super fucking expensive real quick#and sure joanns is faaaaar from perfect but jesus at least I can go there and scope out the fabric properly#I’m lucky my own local joanns is staying open but holy fuck it’s so bad!!!#like does nobody else see that buying everything online is draining places of local resources and furthering our enslavement to capitalism?#or is it just fucking me????#god DAMN#also this should go without saying that you absolutely should shop local places first too#but like also I get it bc even one of my local places sells their linen for like 40 bucks a yard which is nuts so just. please as long as#you’re not feeding the devil called amazon for god’s sake
