This time starred by my beloved golden duo with one of my favorite dialogue of them :D I adore how confused Purpled can get when it comes to Theseus and his observation. Purpled is my spirit animal.

Oh, and of course some other sketches, I really love how silly Fundy and Wisp turned out in them. And I needed to draw relaxed Theseus so he's just there lmao.

Butterfly Reign chapter 40 😧

Hi!

First of all, I just wanted to say how much I love Butterfly Reign—your writing is incredible, and I’ve been absolutely hooked from the start. I think I started reading when there were only about 10 chapters out, which feels like a lifetime ago!

I just finished chapter 40, and I’ve been thinking a lot about the direction the story took, particularly regarding Theseus and Wilbur. Their relationship has been such a complex and emotional journey, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing them work through their issues. Honestly, it’s crazy to think back to when I first started reading, and how I would’ve been rooting for Theseus to get his revenge, but now, with everything that’s happened, I didn’t expect the story to take such a tragic turn.

While I’m still deeply invested in the story, I’m curious about a few things—particularly the choice to have Wilbur die. I’ve been wondering, how long have you had this planned? I noticed the MCD tag from the beginning, so I’m wondering if this was always the direction you intended to take their characters or if it evolved as the story developed?

I’d also love to know your thoughts on Theseus’s actions here (without giving away any spoilers ofc). In the context of the story (obviously not condoning murder in real life 😭), do you think Theseus did what he had to do? Do you see him as someone who is still redeemable, or do you think that this was a mistake in his journey? I ask because, even though I’ve been the number one Theseus defender (his rights and wrongs) throughout the story, I found myself struggling with this moment. It’s the first time I’ve felt so conflicted about his character. I’m really curious about your perspective as the author, especially when it comes to the moral complexities in his decision.

Hi, thank you for the ask, it made my morning!

To answer your questions, it's a little complex when exactly the decision came about. In my original outline back in 2022, this whole scene did not actually involve any fire. Instead, it was Theseus and Fundy stranded on the lake as ice begins to crack. Wilbur gets Fundy to safety first, and then when he comes back for Theseus, they fall through. From there on, there were two versions of this scene that I fluctuated between: one, Wilbur cuts the rope connecting them and lets himself drown, and two, the same happens but both of them get saved by a third outside force. This is followed up by Wilbur falling into a coma and being absent for the rest of the fic, sans the epilogue where we see him awake. Simply put, it was never my plan for Wilbur to be present in the final arc; he simply has no place there. His story was always meant to end in this chapter.

However, as time went on, I realized that using a coma is a very cheap (for the lack of a better word) way to write off a character, and his death by sacrifice did not feel right. As I mentioned in another post, br!Wilbur was, off and on, for nearly a decade, br!Tommy's abuser. To have someone who caused so much pain for him die saving him didn't sit right with me. Tommy was working for so long on accepting his past and unlearning the behaviors Wilbur brought up in him that it felt like an injustice and a poor message besides to basically say 'oh well he loved you at the end of the day'. And exploring his death from the point of view Tommy being relieved by it and feeling guilty at the same time is too repetetive of the story itself from when Wilbur ran away the first time. That's when the decision for Tommy to kill Wilbur was born.

So short answer: Wilbur's story was always meant to end at this moment. The idea for murder hatched during the travel arc.

I could not tell you exactly when did I realize that the plot was heading towards Tommy killing Wilbur, but I very firmly stand by the point that it's something that has been brewing up in the background unbeknownst even to me. The thing, Tommy has always been a killer. You have always known him as one (Clara was killed by him 3 years into the past), even though you didn't know his full backstory. An important part of this arc in its entirety is that it's Tommy unpacking and healing from the trauma he experienced 6 to 3 years ago. When Tommy gets sick and Wilbur takes care of him – that's 11 year old Tommy getting closure from Wilbur leaving him behind, and trading their family for the life of a commoner and a family of his own. It's not about them learning to be different in the future; it's about them mending the past. At no point at all this was meant to be about redeeming Wilbur.

Off to the next question: was this necessary? Did Tommy do what he had to?

Not at all. I address that in the chapter itself. I believe it's three different times that an image of Clara tells that Tommy must do it, meaning kill Wilbur, but the only time Tommy voices that thought himself (after the dialogue with Warden), the must changes to can. It's him taking agency over his own choices and acknowledging that he has this option and it's his decision to proceed with it. He tells Wilbur not to make excuses for him for Clara's death, knowing he's about to commit the same crime again.

As to how to feel about his actions – that's entirely up to you. You're not meant to feel a certain way about any of the characters, and especially not Tommy, but I am curious to hear your guys' thoughts and analysis. What do you think?

And and and! Uhm its about tommy being the prince next in line (bc wil ran away on his corrination, and tech was a general in war) and the stress that came with it and how it shaped his personality

Bc he felt incredibly abandoned when 1. His mom died, 2. Will left weeks later, 3. Techno had to leave bc War or something idc, and 4. Phil, his dad, got UBER sick and tommy had to take care of the king's duties at FOURTEEN or twelve, i dont 'member

Then! Like 3 years later, phil is fine( the sickness lasted like...2 weeks) but hes distant ever since his wifes death, and wilbur returns but he like, thought everything would return to normal so he got pissy when tom was like. Pissed at him for leaveing. For 3 years. so now Wils a bitch whos like, trying to get a reaction out of tommy (to the point of public humiliation, and purposely treating ranboo(well get to that) really nice amd calling him 'brother' while treating tom like shit )

And then,,, uh his family replaces him ( they bring in ranboo(whos a commoner- which pisses off tom bc hes unintentionally SUPER disrespectful) and over the course of the fic treat him MUCH better than they treat tommy) so his like 'fuck that' and becomes besties w a foreign prince- dream.

Now dream was great, and he helped tommy, and they called eachother brothers!! But it turns out- dream was fae. And now tommy feels betrayed (idk it was a lot more nueanced than that) bc he had like, spied on him and whatever while in animal form.

There was some section where wil like, snaps out of assholeery bc tommy snaps and throws something at him and idk makes him scared) so now wils nice ig

Ok so, then wil, tommy, and fundy(wils kid- turns out he got hitched while he was gone for those 3 years- with a commoner which is- like not great for his reputation and is partially why he is not the crown prince anymore) all go on a carriage for Diplomatic Reasons (idk i think theyre visiting a diff kingdom) and they get stuck in a snowstorm in a small town. They end up staying w some old cowgirl in her lil cottage (shes actually like, a proper farmer she takes no shit and is built like a bull) and so tommy learns common people manners <33 its really fun cuz hes undercover as a commoner bc they didnt want to get assassinated <33

Br is a kingdom au where sbi is really mean to crown prince Tommy, they try n replace him by adopting ranboo and Tommy doesn't like that, Tommy ends up being disowned and runs off to join dream n foolish at their kingdom.

Tommy became crown prince when wil run away, Wil had me with my mom and brought me back to be another prince, I was really young, like, four.

Will was bitter at Tommy and always seemed too busy for me, Tommy was really nice and always there though, he was a lot colder and meaner to people than c!Tommy but never to me, best uncle/brother/dad I could ask for! Now onto my own timeline stuff

when tommy met his brother dream/his best friend beau and got disowned, I demanded to go with him, Wilbur wasn't thrilled about that and I wasn't allowed anyway since I was too small.

Tommy came to visit me all the time (much to sbis dismay) but it wasn't enough, I hated ranboo n will n everyone, so eventually I left a note and booked it!!

There was a manhunt and a custody trial, I made a few friends on the way, but eventually I was officially out of phils empire and into dreams!!!  I was a bit nervous n protective of my uncle at the start but I quickly settled into being a prince and having a new family there.

I Renounce You (Finale)

A/N: WHOO! You and I both made it through! Now this is really short and I probably could’ve put it in Part 5 but I like even numbers and I wanted to close this book with a flourish. (Anyone catch the Knives Out reference?)

And for the last time for this piece; all credit for the original idea this is based off of goes to @tuesday-teyz and I hope they enjoyed reading this if they did, if not that’s fine as it is time consuming and quite...stagnant at some parts.

Technoblade came with Wisp to wish him well and Tommy felt a fraction of worry for the winged general. Wings were usually a sign of superiority which meant Techno very well had a chance to become Emperor. It was no secret though that the general hated politics and despised wearing his ceremonial crown for even the most miniscule of events.

“Stay out of trouble, ok Tom?” Wisp bowed low and cast a rare smile. It was the first time the guard had finally felt like a friend more than a watchful eye reporting to his brother.

“Be safe Tommy. You’ll always be welcome here still.” Technoblade bowed his head and the wings flexed with an intake of breath.

“Thanks Tech.” Tommy said slowly and something called for him to just run and hug the albino Avian. So he listened and felt a pair of strong arms wrapping around his shoulders in turn.

“C’mon Tommy!” Sapnap yelled out from the carriage and Tommy pulled away only to spot blue eyes just like his staring back with sorrow and regret. Tommy’s face steeled to neutrality and he turned away from the Emperor without so much as a smile.

“Get in already.” Dream chuckled and pulled Tommy into the decorated carriage.

“Keep your pants on Green Boy.” Tommy retorted and settled in as the door closed tightly behind him. A window looked back to the castle and Tommy smiled at the thought of never having to see its cold walls again. On the balcony above the front doors was a figure. A lanky one with a bandage covering the right corner of his face. A scowl and glimmer of red in his eyes distinguished Wilbur from the description and Tommy felt a chill in his spine. Deep down he regretted leaving Ranboo and Tubbo to deal with his eldest brother. And poor Fundy.

Tommy had left a letter explaining everything in a way a child could understand and he told the young boy about the butterfly garden and how to take care of it. His nephew knew he was just a letter away and that gave him some era of peace to leaving it all behind.

Esempi was beautiful as Dream said and even though night began to fall just as they reached the outskirts of the capitol, Tommy already favored the warmer weather and greener grass. The carriage stopped and a camp was waiting for them but just across the dirt road was a flower field unlike any other Tommy had seen.

“I guess it’s true what they say, the grass is greener on the other side.” Tommy smiled and spotted a butterfly flitting from a flower. Off in the distance the sun was setting and with a stretch of his hand, the butterfly landed on his hand.

“Welcome home, Tommy.” The breeze came by his ears and spoke the words he could only hear his mother saying. The butterfly’s wings flitted up and down as it rested on the newly appointed Prince of Esempi’s finger.

I have simply decided that the last couple of chapters do not exist <3.

I instead decided that BR!Theseus and BR!Fundy packed up their bags and went to live in a cottage near a cliffside with BR!Sally's help. Shee came with them since neither of them can cook or can take care of themselves properly, nevermind another person.

BR!Tommy will miss his and BR!Kristen little spot in the garden but he'll create his own with BR!Fundy.

Fuck BR!Theseus becoming BR!Wilbur, He is now BR!Kristen.

I was rereading Butterfly Reign and I was wondering about the relationship between Quackity and Tommy. In the chapter when Tommy was drunk during the death anniversary of the empress he continued to call for Quackity, as if Quackity's presence gave him comfort.

Did Quackity often take care of him when he was in this kind of mental state?

Did Quackity really care about Tommy even though Quackity was using him for his own interests?

Did Tommy really trust Quackity at some point?

What does Tommy think of him now?

What does Quackity think about Sally now (since they were childhood friends)?

This is a very good question, and well-timed with the revelations of chapter 40. Tommy confirms in his dialogue with Wilbur that it was Quackity who saved him when he had attempted to end his life. The reason that he's calling out for Quackity as he's suffering from alcohol poisoning is that the situation and the state that he found himself in directly reflect the circumstances of that attempt. While it has not been specified yet how he tried to do it, or by what means, you can draw some guesses based on this knowledge, as well the fact that he was conscious long enough to realize that Fundy is there. And, preceeding obvious answer, no, it was not related to alcohol back then.

To the question of whether Quackity cares for Tommy or not, I think that's more or less obvious in Dream's pov chapter. Indeed Quackity has developed a certain fondness for Tommy as his long-time student and he played a crucial role in Tommy understanding Wilbur's past abuse. He was the first person to openly show him that Wilbur's treatment of him wasn't right. Tommy does trust Quackity, at least where mutual benefit is concerned. Do remember that they have been running a black market ring under the emperor's nose for years now. They have enough blackmail to put each other to the gallows, and that helps keep their relationship balanced in a weird way.

Part 9: Okay, but hear me out- Part 2 (Butterfly Reign Allium Duo/EnderInnit AU) my AO3 Readers asked for it, and they shall receive.

Tommy sways softly side to side, gently holding his son in his arms as the sun shines it's gentle glow on them.

Morning dew shining like diamonds on the plants, beez buzzing around them, while butterflies flutter. The slight chirping of the birds could be heard in the wind, slowly it lulls the father and son in tranquility.

Carding his fingers through his son's hair, Tommy opens his eyes slowly. Smiling, he gets ready to head back inside, turning around to face their home's back door when he caught eye of his husband walking towards their front door.

Curiously, the blond quietly opens the back door, smiling at his eldest when he turns to face them, and steps inside just as Ranboo reaches the door. His eldest (selectively mute) smiles back before returning to his paper.

Tommy turns towards the Livingroom, about to to his husband when said man opens the door and an unfamiliar voice fills the air.

"Hello Ranboo"

Ranboo stood frozen as Wilbur stared at him, a dark look in his eyes.

His eyes widens at seeing someone he hadn't (and wished to never) seen in a long time.

"W-Wilbur.. I mean Prince Wilbur! Your… here."

Said Prince smiled at him sharply, something dangerous glinting in his eyes. Technoblade stood behind him, eyes as blank and apathetic as ever. Though if one were to look closer, they'd see the underlining of danger sublty hidden behind walls of uncare.

"Beloved?" A soft voiced called out. A voice the brother's hadn't heard in a long time. Their heads snap to the direction of the voice, seeing their brother standing near them, carrying a child with black hair in his arms. His blue eyes glinting curiously and a little worried.

He was wearing a simple red vest over a white shirt, and black pants. He looked like a commoner. Worse, a commoner parent.

What?

The brother's caught sight of the golden ring on his ring finger. Nothing much, just a simple golden band with what looked like an Allium, carefully carved on it.

He's…..

"Who are you talking to?"

"Allium!" Ranboo rushed over to his husband's side, carefully shielding him from the Twins view.

He has no idea what the two were doing here. But he needs them gone now. Before they ruin the peaceful life he'd built here with Tommy and his kids.

The Brown haired Prince frowned. 'Beloved'? 'Allium'?

What-

Suddenly, his eyes caught the sight of a golden ring on Ranboo's finger, the words 'Beloved' carved on it and he understands.

Their married.

But… Theseus would never marry Ranboo. Didn't he hate the commoner child their father had taken in? The child who pretty much replaced him? Wilbur made sure of that himself.

But there they are, each wearing a no doubt wedding band don't their ring finger.

"Theseus?" Wilbur voices, stepping forward inside the humble cottage and catching the attention of the young blond who turns his attention away from Ranboo and locks eye contact with him. His eyes doesn't light up with recondition. Instead, he looks confused.

"Who… who are you?" Wilbur felt his world start crashing down. He-!

"Don't be joking now Theseus, I know we've had our problems, but I never thought of you as the type to feign ignorance" he said, a mildly amused smile stretching in his face as his mind fills with voices screaming. Claiming.

To his dread, the boy-no, young man, only looked at him, even more confused then before.

"Who's Theseus? I think you might be mistaking me for someone else" The blond said, feeling his son slowly wake from his short slumber and tightening his grip.

He doesn't recognize this man, and- and he felt horrible looking at him. As if he'd done something back to Tommy.

Conflicting emotions brews in his heart. Hatred(?), Annoyance, Love(?), Resentment.

It sends his kind reeling. Wondering who this guy was, and what has he done for him to feel such a way despite not remembering him.

When he first saw Ranboo, he felt nothing but slight assurance. Maybe even pity. As if Tommy was aware of something the other wasn't. And it wasn't anything good.

He felt his husband place a hund on his shoulder, slowly guiding him towards their hallway where their bedrooms are.

"Why don't you place Shroud on his crib dear, holding him that long couldn't be so comfortable." He says, not waiting for Tommy's answer and ushering him towards the hallway.

Tommy, while wanting to know more about who that man was, was thankful for the escape. He felt uncomfortable with the way the man looked at him. He couldn't explain it. It was similar to how his husband and brother would look at him.

Dark and Protective, as if willing to destroy anyone who so much as lands a scratch at him. Except… more. Wrong. He can't explain correctly. Just…. Wrong.

(The right word would be obsessively possessive. But you know *shrugs* I don't think he even knows what that is.)

And so he lets his husband guide him towards the nursary, leaving the man behind.

As you guys know, this ain't no one shot. I'm too lazy and tired for that. So here's the rest of the shit, hope you guys like it.

• Wilbur had been a mess after finding out about the Attack. But his father stopped him from looking for his brother, saying that he has it handled and that he's safe. He now spends most of his nights hugging his Theseus Doll. Creepy motherfucker. Can't you be sad normally?!

• Of course, after a year and no reports on the Crown Prince, Philza became worried. Wondering where his son was and sending letters to the Esempi asking how he was doing and never receiving a reply.

• Dream knew what he was doing. He doesn't care. Fuck King Philza, he only now asked about Tommy? The last he heard was him being attacked by Prime's sake, and he only asked a year after it happened?

• None of this would've happened if Kristen was here. Fact, she's currently seething in the afterlife. Getting ready to chew the fuck out of Phil and the others of how they treated Tommy the moment she See's him. It's not part of the prompt, I just knew she would do it.

• After that little reunion at the top, Wilbur had to be stopped by Techno from doing anything stupid. unlike Wilbur, his twin actually has common sense and he knows that causing a scene now would cause a lot more problems then is worth it.

• Micheal got down from his chair, abandoning his drawing on the table to spy on the two misters. He was a bit shocked to find more than 1 mister standing on the doorway of their home. They didn't look like Uncle Dre and Uncle Sappy, so who were they?

• Techno had a lot of time to think on the years Tommy was gone. He knew he was in the wrong, and even talked to a therapist about it. (Because I want Bedrock Bros dam it! And you can't do anything about it!) Honestly, all he wants now is to apologize to his little brother properly. And if said little brother no longer wanted anything to do with him after? Then so be it. He'd deserve it, and his little brother deserved to be happy.

• For a few weeks Fundy had been missing his Uncle. He doesn't no where he was, since nobody would tell him anything. Plus his dad seems to always to be busy these days and no longer spend as much time as he used to. Only his mom was there for him, and even then she could only do so much.

• He missed his Uncle so much that he'd sometimes sneak into his rooms to sleep there, but he'd always get caught brought back to his rooms. He stopped sneaking in though after a man with split colored hair gave him a letter addressed to him.

• It was from Uncle Tommy! It said that he was alright and that to no longer be sad because he'll see him soon. Fundy was so excited!

• Tommy doesn't remember Fundy much, but he does remember always feeling so free and happy whenever he's around him. He doesn't remember why, what he looks like, or what he's connection to Tommy is. But from the what his letters says, he was like a nephew to Tommy, and who was he to deny his nephew a penpal?

• Fundy has no idea that Tommy got amnesia, all he knows is that he's somewhere far away for safety as the lady with two colored hair said, and that to not tell anyone about the letters.

• Dream is the one who delivers the letters. He both regrets volunteering for it, and not. Jury's still out.

• Beu would visit the village nearby Tommy and Ranboo's cottage once a month, owning a fabric/tailor shop that conveniently only opens on the same day Tommy and Ranboo would visit the village with the kids. Tommy is great friends with the slightly strict Tailor of Crown Tailor and Fabric Shop named Beu. She would always give them discounts and would glare at anyone else who asked for one.

• Tommy and Ranboo's wedding bands used to be plain and boring. That is until they encountered the villages black smith who, after finding out they were just married, offered to make them a new one in exchanged for teaching him how to read and write so that he could impress his husband.

• The blacksmith's and his husband's name? Tango Tek and his husband Jimmy Tek.

Look, I'm deprived of Ranch Duo okay? I need it! Let me have what I want!

• Ranboo started calling Tommy 'Allium' after a blue butterfly landed on the allium Tommy was on the process of replanting.

• And he did it in the Lost sappiest eat he could ever. By wrapping his amrs around Tommy's waist whilst he was standing in the garden admiring the flowers, the sun slowly setting in the horizon, butterflies around them, and asking him if he could call him Allium.

• Tommy started calling Ranboo 'Beloved' after reading a romance novel of the wife calling her husband 'Dearly Beloved'.

• Tommy's answer to his question was "Only if I could call you 'Beloved' in return".

• Tommy's the little spoon. He likes being hugged from behind. Especially if he could have his kids in his arms. Early morning cuddles is a must.

• Tommy doesn't know much about cooking, but he's decent at it. So he's mostly the one cookig. Their meals. Rnaboo tries, but he's horrible at it and had actually gotten banned from cooking after he decided it was a good idea to add spaghetti to their pancakes….

• For their one Year Anniversary, Ranboo tried to cook Tommy a romantic breakfast in bed meal. It was supposed to be simple, just pancakes with maple syrup and berries, and his favorite tea. Except Ranboo somehow decided Tommy would like having spaghetti in his pancakes, and he really doesn't know how to brew the fancy tea Tommy liked so he had to follow instructions from a book.

• Tommy ending up with a stomach ache for an entire day because of forcing himself to eat it all, but he loved Ranboo's efforts nonetheless. It was the thought that counts.

• Tommy sewed Ranboo a black fading to dark purple scarf with his initials in gold for their 1 year anniversary. It was too long, the stitches were uneven, and the initials weren't as fancy and good looking as the blond wanted them to be.

• Ranboo absolutely loved it and would wear it for as long as he could before his Allium forces him to take it off due to the heat and/or it needed to be washed.

• Tommy loves playing with Ranboo's long gair. He would braid flowers, beads, sometimes even jewelry in them whenever he feels like pampering Ranboo, whenever he could. Using any and all excuse he has to play with it because he doesn't wanna admit that he loves his husband's hair.

• Ranboo loves staring at Tommy's hair. He loves how it glints in the light like gold, loves how it glows whenever he's under the sun. He would spend minutes, sometimes hours just watching Tommy tend to their garden while the sun illuminated his hair and form. Making him look like some kind of god or garden deity. Or a fea.

• Sometimes they would have bad days. And on those bad days the other would scoop the other up and cuddle with them until they feel better. Their kids would join too.

• Tommy loves wearing Ranboo's clothes. He loves how big they were on him, and just loves how it's swimming with his husband's scent. Ranboo just let's him, Tommy looked adorable wearing too-big clothes anyway. Though he did have to stop him once and a while because the split haired male needed to wear those clothes too.

• Doesn't mean he won't absolutely melt at seeing his husband wearing his shirt though.

• Ranboo's a simp. In case you haven't realized it yet, I'm here to inform you. He is a simp for Tommy and can't and won't ever say no to anything he says.

Alright, that's it. It's time for some possibilities. Things that could happen, but is up to you to decide if it should.

• Ranboo could explain the situation to the twins. He could come clean about what he thinks of them, and that Tommy had amnesia and couldn't remember a single thing about his lofe as a prince. And he would want to keep it that way.

• Telling them that Tommy's way better off living here in their cottage and their two children. Guilt tripping them into staying silent about the truth and make up lies to still remain in contact with Tommy.

Or

• He could also not explain it, and instead tell them that Tommy is so mad at them, that he pretends to not remember them. It could cause unnecessary mayhem, could cause heartbreak, but also guilt trip them into being nicer. Into being a better family to Tommy. Meanwhile,

• Tommy would have no idea why these two random dudes he just met were being so nice to him. Until Ranboo explains that the two did something bad to him for quite a while, and that the two felt guilty about it. He also tells him that the two doesn't know about the amnesia and thinks that Tommy's just pretending to not remember them because he's mad. It's up to you if Tommy lets that continue or if he'd just tell them the truth.

• Either way, Ranboo would still have to lie to Tommy (well, partly lie, half-lie if you will). Techno would get the chance to give his apology, and Wilbur would still be a bastard.

• Fucker would probably still refute and would only act nicer to Tommy and an absolute asshole to Ranboo. A complete opposite to the original story of Butterfly Reign.

Everything else if up to you guys, honestly I still have a few ideas, but this prompt is part of the 'Sleep Deprived Prompts' because I don't feel like writing the whole story down.

I have no motivation to continue it, so if anyone wants to write anything/continue this, feel free to do so.

Listen y’all so I read the newest chapter of butterfly reign and I had a lot written but I lost my draft ToT Anywho THATS NOT GONNA STOP ME SO HERE GOES MY THOUGHTS AND THEORIES:

I still think George is on dreams side but he can still work as a wild card along with mr sir le quacks

I faithfully teared up when beau was continuously showing her support of tommy. And also about her thing about following him with dream but would want to wait a bit makes me believe when Tommy goes with dream she’d be like the lady’s in waiting in the webtoon. After while they join/tag along but it took some time since Navier was settling in.

I don’t hate tubbo for what he’s doing. Whether y’all like it or not he’s now tied to Ranboo and if ranboo gets in trouble he might too. They’re friends now so it’d make sense to protect him. + Its not like he ratted on Tommy framing him yet, he’d need evidence. (I hope I’m not jinxing it)

If Tommy doesn’t leave fundy alone for this one… like maybe unpopular opinion but Tommy knows how hard it was for him and even Wilbur to become and work as the crown prince. no matter WHAT, he should know better than to lead the one he’s tried to protect into that life. But I digress, can’t blame him fully for wanting someone close to him.

I think the day that him stealing the Star gets out to the public, Wilbur might for the first time shut up. Idk like he’d just be blank cuz of mostly shock and mix of emotions. The guy would be crushed to know his little brother took the memory Techno had of their mother. Techno even more crushed but would just not look at him. Phil furious and just straight up yelling

"Well... the lowly Nobles."

Tommy looked at Tubbo and Ranboo.

"My former valet and the boy my father wishes to adopt. What have I done to upset you so? That you should turn against me? Tubbo?" He turns to the boy.

"I-"

"He has the right to not answer your question." Ranboo interrupts him.

"Silence. Learn to speak only when addressed to." Tommy narrows his eyes at Ranboo, but it appears the swain decided it was the right time to grow a backbone. "Alright, if you wish to be brave, how about you answer my question instead. What have I done to upset you so?"

Ranboo held his head high, eyes meeting directly towards Tommy.

"You have failed to fulfill all of the Emperor's wishes as Crowned Prince." He said.

"And that upsets you so?" Tommy raises an eyebrow.

"What upsets the Emperor, upsets me." Ranboo stated.

"How dare you." Tommy hissed.

The two boys flinched. Tubbo kept his head down, quiet, while Ranboo stood his ground.

"You want me to creep away and live the rest of my life as a duke? Well, I shall not. You want me to lie before the Emperor and his court, by Prime's name, and admit that I have conspired against his Majesty? Well, I did not. You want me to retire, and give the role of Crowned Prince to Prince Wilbur, Prince Fundy, or Prime-forbid you? Well, I shall not. Not in a thousand years. Not if you rack me to within an inch of my life." Tommy sneered, straightening his back.

Ranboo felt a chill run across his entire body. Despite the blond being much shorter than him, he still feels as if he was the smaller and lesser being. And perhaps, maybe that was true.

The Crowned Prince's greyish blue eyes seemed to have brightened to a bright lightning like blue, for just a second.

"I am Theseus, Crowned Prince of the Antarctic Empire. The Emperor's youngest blood son, the rightful heir to the throne. Beloved of the people. And beloved of the Royal Family you have bewitched." The Crowned Prince bellowed around the halls.

Tommy released an aggravated sigh before leaving the two boys behind. Marchioness Beau slowly trailing after him.

Sorry, I just read the most recent chapter of Butterfly Reign by @tuesday-teyz and also recently watched the The Other Boleyn Girl. I loved everything about it, despite being disappointed on how inaccurate the movie depicted the Boleyn girls, especially Anne Boleyn. If you want a show that depicts Anne Boleyn a little more accurately, The Tudors gives her more justice.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed this. And if you didn't get it already, the dialogue was derived from The Other Boleyn Girl.
