AAAAA THANK YOU ALL FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES!!! You really made this piggu feel special UvU
I’ll be honest, I’m a person that typically never really enjoyed their birthdays much. A struggle with depression and trauma associated with this day made it really hard for me to accept the attention and kindness. And its still a struggle I’m getting over!
Last night I spent my birthday with my mom and partner and it was honestly such a fun and sweet time…I think I’ve healed a lot! And I wanted to say thank you to all of you genuinely for caring about me this way! You helped me more than you know! 🩷
#piggy talks#sorry for the sappiness haha#but yesterday felt like the warmest hug!!!!! and i wanted to talk about that

Cowboy's Date With A Georgian 😍🤠👨🏼❤️👩🏾🦲
Jake Hangman Seresin X OC (Nickname: Sweetheart)
Warning: Just Fluff.
You waking up from the sounds of birds chirping outside on a nice sunny day in the morning, you have on a old but oversized Texas University shirt that Jake let you borrow from last night, and so you got up from the bed, putting your dress back on from last night, then went downstairs. And come to see that Jake is cooking breakfast with no shirt on while country music is playing in the background.....
"Morning, darlin," he said to you with a smile on his face.
"Morning, how are you?" You bit your lip while blushing.
"I'm good, can't complain, and how about you?" He fixing some coffee.
"I'm doing fine, thanks for asking, but hey, what day is it, though?" You ask Jake.
"It's Friday." He drinking his coffee.
"Oh shit, but hey, do you have to go to work today because I'm don't wanna get you in trouble or -"
"Relax, I'm told my boss that it's okay. That I can get a day off for today, so you're good?" Jake cut you off.
"Oh well okay." You were cool with it.
"Yeah, so since I'm off today, do you wanna go sightseeing around the town to show you stuff?" He ask you.
"Yeah, sure, no problem but first, I'm have to go home, wash up, and change clothes." You eating your food while talking.
After y'all two finished breakfast, he took you back to your apartment, so you can freshen up, to start the day, so after he take you back to your place, he killed the engine in his truck and y'all went inside to the apartment and Jake sit down in the kitchen...
"This is my place, it's really not much, so make yourself at home, while I'm changing clothes." You said to him with a smile.
"Okay, well thank you, darlin', appreciate it." He give you a smile back.
So while you washing up and changing new pair of clothes, you been thinking about that you never thought you would were invited a handsome stranger that whom you just met from yesterday and he let you spend the night at his place since last night. So you guess that you have been blessed that you might find someone who you can trust, respect, but treat you like a queen like any woman wants in a man.
So, afterwards, you already just got dressed and went to the front room to check on Jake. He is looking at the picture of you and your dad admiring you that you have no idea how blessed you are to have both parents who support you regardless the ups & downs what you and the family been through in life. And so while you standing there, Jake broke the silence to ask you something.....
"So, it's this is your dad in the picture?" He ask.
"Yes, that my father, he was a good man and sweet guy, you will like him." You said to him with a softer voice.
"Let me guess, he passed away, right?" He guess it.
"Yes, he passed away since 2017, from health problems." You trying not to cry and thinking about because that was your father, the man who cares and loves you till the end of time, but he will do everything regardless of how the situation is. And so Jake step forward to you and give you a shoulder to cry on. You felt it because the hug was warmest but full of love but empathy as well.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mea-" she cut him off
"No, you okay, it's just I'm miss him every day when I think about him, you know?" Your voice felt some sadness to it.
"I'm understand darlin', so uh, you gonna be okay if I don't mind asking?" He asked
"Yeah, I'm will, so you ready to go then?" You ask
"Yeah, sure darlin', ready as I ever be." He give you a smile.
So after your little sympathy session, you and Jake went to the park for a minute to have a nice walk, then he ask you what your favorite restaurant to go to and you said Chili's, so later on that evening the two of y'all went to Chili's and you couldn't help that feeling that this man have been with you all day and never leave your side and he hang out at your place while you changing your clothes. So after dinner, you told Jake can you stay over at his place just to have company and he nodded (meaning he say yes), so you went back to your apartment to pack up some of your clothes, your toothbrush, and everything else you needed it to make sure you straight.
"Thank you for everything, Jake. This is nice, and I'm glad I have someone to talk to. I'm also sorry you have to miss work too."
"It's no problem darlin', it's been my pleasure to hang out with you as well, even though it's was our first date." He said to you with a grin on his features.
"Mhm, I didn't know it's was a date till you said it." You chuckled
"Yeah, well I am glad that I'm met you and also I know this is a random question but do you wanna move in with me? And I know we are still getting to know each other and -" she cut off what you gonna say
"Yes, I would like that, thank you." You give him a big smile, and a kiss on the cheek.
A/N: Here is another one-shot story, and I'm sorry for taking it long, but I always take my time to make sure I'm trying to do it justice. But overall, I hope y'all enjoy it. 😌🫶🏾🤠🤘🏾

Hello! May I request hcs about Makoto, Rin, Seijuro and Sousuke (if possible!) Reacting to gn reader saying "It's so nice being hugged by you" or "you're so warm" when the character hugs them? Fluff. Sfw. Thank you!
Hey there! If you don’t mind, I wrote some headcanons and a small scenario in each one of the characters. Also, I apologize for this taking such a long time!
𝕲𝖊𝖓𝖗𝖊: Fluff
𝕬𝖓𝖎𝖒𝖊: Free!
𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖆𝖈𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖘 𝖎𝖓𝖈𝖑𝖚𝖉𝖊𝖉:
Makoto Tachibana
Seijuro Mikoshiba
Rin Matsuoka
Sousuke Yamazaki
----------------------------------
𝕸𝖆𝖐𝖔𝖙𝖔 𝕿𝖆𝖈𝖍𝖎𝖇𝖆𝖓𝖆:
-Okay so, in my opinion, I think Makoto gives the SOFTEST and WARMEST hugs ever!
He can wrap his hands around your body and it would feel like you made your way to heaven.
-Whenever you hug him, Makoto feels happiness and love that’s radiating from the hug.
-Anyways, it was a hard day for you, and all you wanted is to come back home and lay down on the bed and sleep.
-You walked your way back home and opened the front door, where you saw Makoto sitting on the couch in the living room.
-You put down your stuff and take off your shoes, shortly after, washing your hands in the bathroom and plopping onto the couch where Makoto was sitting.
-”Hey babe, how was your day?” He asks you in a soft voice.
-You mutter out something under your breath and Makoto realized that you were in a bad mood.
-He would wrap his hands around you softly, his body sharing his warmth with you as he makes small circles with his thumbs on your back with one of his hands.
-You would stay in that comfortable position and say: “You know, it’s so nice to be hugged by you.” You softly say.
-When you said that, Makoto’s face would fade from his normal skin color to the shade of crimson REAL QUICK.
-This guy over here would feel so happy and pleased with the words that just came out of your mouth that he will remember the compliment you gave him for the rest of his life.
𝕽𝖎𝖓 𝕸𝖆𝖙𝖘𝖚𝖔𝖐𝖆:
-The first time he hugged you it felt warm and full of love.
-I feel like Rin is the type of boyfriend to give amazing hugs to his s/o. And ONLY to his s/o.
-So, when you both started to date, you were surprised of how loving the hugs he gave you were.
-Anyways, this night you were having a nightmare.
A nightmare that involved you and Rin getting into an argument and breaking up shortly after.
-You jump up as your eyes open faster than sonic could ever run, while sweat dripped down your forehead and back.
-You look to your side and see Rin, peacefully sleeping.
-”It was just a nightmare...” You sigh in relief as you whisper under your breath.
-”Is everything okay? You were moving around like crazy, did you dream a nightmare?” You hear a male voice say.
-You turn your head to Rin’s side of the bed where you see him sitting up and scratching his head.
-”Yeah, sorry if I woke you u-”
And not even letting you finishing your sentence, Rin embraces you into a loving, soft, warm hug.
-He puts his head into the crook of your neck and calmly breathes.
-”Don’t be scared love, everything’s going to be okay.” Rin whispers into your ear.
-”Rin, can I tell you something?” You ask him. -”Sure?”
-”You give the warmest and loving hugs I’ve ever felt, I’m serious.”
-You couldn’t see what Rin’s reaction was, but let me tell you that he felt like he’s about to faint.
-Rin didn’t expect for you to say that, so you caught him off guard by the pleasing and loving words you told him.
-He felt like fainting because people don’t usually say that to him, and hearing that coming out of his s/o felt like heaven.
-A smile on his face grew bigger, as his cheeks radiated the sweet color of pink.
𝕾𝖊𝖎𝖏𝖚𝖗𝖔 𝕸𝖎𝖐𝖔𝖘𝖍𝖎𝖇𝖆
-Seijuro gives really energetic and relaxing hugs to his s/o. So, expect the hug to be nice, you would be able to relax into the hug and it would feel really good.
-He hugs you quite a lot too.
-Anyways, this day, you were sick.
-Your nose was stuffy and you throat hurt.
Yesterday, you went out with your friends to the town to hang out. And I guess you didn’t know that it’ll get colder by the hour, so you came back home with freezing legs and arms.
-You told your boyfriend, Seijuro, that you weren’t feeling well today, and that you won’t be able to come over to his place today.
-What you didn’t know is that he will come to you.
That means he’s literally sprinting to your place with medicine in his hands while worrying if everything’s okay with you.
-He knocked on your door straight after and you, so lazily, opened it.
-”What the heck are you doing here?!” You say in shock, trying to not higher your voice.
-”No time to talk! I’ll make you hot soup and give you some medicine!” Seijuro gets into the house and puts the medicine on your table.
-You say nothing. Just watch him freak out over you getting a little cold.
-Then, you start to quietly laugh, as you couldn’t contain yourself.
-Seijuro looks at you with a confused look on his face. “What’s so funny?”
-”Oh nothing, it’s just that you got so freaked out over a little cold, that I couldn’t contain myself.” You answer him.
-Seijuro looks at you and sighs, starting to make his way to you.
-He slowly wraps his hands around your fragile body.
“Maybe I had over reacted a little bit-” He says with a small smile.
-You giggle softly, and hug him back.
“Ya know, the only thing that can make me feel better right now are your hugs. You are literally so warm, I love it.” You say quietly, enough for him to hear.
-His reaction is rather cute. He will hug you a bit tighter and cling onto you, not wanting to let go.
-”Could we maybe go si-”
-”No.”
-He will also kiss your cheek repeatedly.
-He felt so happy by your words he thought that he has achieved the ultimate goal of life. (ikr, kinda dramatic but still cute)
𝕾𝖔𝖘𝖚𝖐𝖊 𝖄𝖆𝖒𝖆𝖟𝖆𝖐𝖎
-The first time you hugged him, he was a bit stiff as he wasn’t used to that type of thing.
-Though, after he did get used to hugging you, he will do it nonstop.
-You get up, he hugs you. You go to sleep, he hugs you. You walk, he hugs you.
-He loves hugging you but he won’t admit it, even though it’s already really obvious.
-That day, you were out at the library trying to study for an upcoming exam.
-And before you knew it, night time has come.
-You took the bus home and look at your phone to see over 20 messages from your boyfriend, Sousuke.
--------------
Sousuke:
Hey, where are you?
Y/n?
Y/n are you okay?
Y/n what happened?
Why aren’t you texting back?
Y/n?!
*and 14 more*
--------------------
-”Crap-” You think to yourself and quickly text him back, explaining that your phone was off and you were trying to study.
-Not after a second later you get a text back from him saying that he’s waiting outside your place.
-Soon enough, you arrive.
-Sousuke, seeing you, runs over and hugs you tightly.
-”H-Hey! Is everything okay...?” You ask him.
-Sousuke doesn’t answer, just moves closer to you.
-You sigh and smile lightly, giving into the hug and closing your eyes.
-Your body relaxed and you felt happy that he worried about you.
-”You do know you shouldn’t worry about me this much.” You say.
-Sousuke shakes his head no.
-”Sometimes, you act like a child, a child that gives the warmest and softest hugs I’ve ever felt.”
-Suddenly, you feel your body being lifted up.
-”What are you-!”
-He slowly picks you while giving you a warm smile.
-He felt relieved everything's okay with you, but also pleased by your words.
-His cheeks were pinkish and it looked like he was blushing.
-After you told him that he gives good hugs, he started to hug you even more.
---------------------
OkAy, I’m so sorry once again for taking such a long time to write this-
I love you, and hope you have a nice rest of your day!

Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five | epilogue
She’s been asleep barely 2 hours when he shakes her awake, “Hey, when did you need to get ready today?”
“Uh?” She sits up and rubs her eyes, “we don’t have to leave until 1 so, like 11?”
“It’s 8:30, did you want to stay and sleep more?”
She looks at him and sighs, “are we okay?”
He nods, “can we just call it even?”
“Sure,” she agrees without knowing what she did wrong. It was more than just snapping on Tuesday, which is what she was still hurt over. “But I’m going to go, I need to change and stuff.”
“Yeah,” he nods but his smile is sad and she knows she’s fucking it up more.
She gets out of his bed, once it was the warmest bed she’s ever known. Any bed she shared with him was, but now it felt cold and uninviting and there was an unspoken knowingness that they were both genuinely upset.
“I’m still your fake girlfriend for the next 24 hours… can we make them count?” She asks, avoiding eye contact so he can't see her cry if he says no.
“Come here?”
She gets back into the bed and she cuddles into his chest. He holds her for a moment, “you’ve been the best girlfriend in the whole world. Do you really still want to be friends after this? Have I fucked up that bad?”
“Oh honey,” she places a hand on his cheek and looks at him softly, “I will be your neighbour, your best friend, your co-worker, carpool buddy, coffee friend, girlfriend, whatever you need as long as you’d like to have me around.”
He remembers the first time she said that and she knows because his smile is the same. “I love you.”
It hurts, “I love you, too.”
She kisses him quickly, attempting to pull back when his fingers grip her hair and his tongue is on her lips and she’s following his lead again.
“No,” she whispers, “I can’t.”
“Oh,” he stops and his hands drop to his sides so she can get back up.
“I’m going to go get ready, but I’ll come back when I’m done?”
“Yeah,” he nods again.
It breaks her heart to get up and go, she grabs her shoes and she sneaks out of his room, finding her keys in her pocket, she opens her own door and cries the second the door closes.
She cries in the shower, she cries while fixes her hair, she cries while she has lunch. Every song reminds her of the situation, every section of her apartment reminds her of him, the stupid door where they first kissed is closed and she wishes he was stable enough to bang on it and demand an answer.
Whatever was going on between them was reaching a bubbling over point, she can only store so much emotion before she explodes on him.
As soon as she is in her dress, makeup on and ready to go, she walks into his apartment to find him struggling with his bowtie, it makes her smile for the first time since she left his room this morning, “need help?”
“Yes, please.”
She walks over to him and repeats the same movements he attempted, making the bow look pretty before smoothing her hands over his dress shirt and looking up at him. “Handsome as ever.”
“You’re always beautiful,” he compliments her right back but his voice is still as sad as the night before.
“Are you ever going to tell me what’s going on in there?” She pries, tapping his temple with her index finger, “you’re my best friend and I don’t like seeing you sad.”
“I heard what you said yesterday,” he whispers, “about how if you were just using someone you would have picked Derek.”
“And?” She doesn’t get why it’s a big deal because it makes perfect sense to her in her mind.
“And it hurt me,” he snaps, “quite a lot!?”
And the dam breaks.
“Because I proved to them that I’m not using you? Spencer do you know what I meant by that?” She snaps right back.
“What else could it mean?! Clearly I’m not hot enough for you to just fuck and toss aside—”
“I meant that I love you and that’s why I’m with you! If I was just using someone for a job then I’d fuck Derek cause he’s a one and done, toss them to the side and never see them again, kind of guy!”
“And?” He repeats her word choice in a snippy tone that makes her furious but she knows he’s just trying his best to understand her.
She sighs loudly and obnoxiously, “and you’re a take him to meet your mom, marry and have his babies, love him for the rest of your life and one day scatter his ashes, kind of lover.” Crying by the end, she wipes her tears and tries to stay somewhat presentable-looking.
He’s silent, eyes wide as he takes in all her words, “I have always loved you,” she adds, “and no matter how fucking angry I am or how stressed or upset, I am never going to stop loving you, Spencer.”
“Me either,” his tone is still just as upset, “and that's the part that sucks.”
“What do you mean?” She just poured her heart out to him and he still doesn’t get it.
“I LOVE YOU!” He screams it at her with his hands thrown in the air, “I love you more than I’ve loved anyone in my entire fucking life and it’s driving me crazy!”
“It’s driving you crazy?” She can’t help but laugh like she’s losing her mind, “I have been doing everything in my power to make you understand that I love you and you keep thinking I just want to be friends!”
“Because you said you loved me like a friend the first time?!”
“No, I fucking didn’t!” She is so frustrated she’s turning the same colour as her dress, steaming from her ears like a cartoon character.
“I asked if best friends can be in love because I wanted to see if you would say you loved me more than that, and then you fucking said “yeah cause that’s how I love you” which means you love me as a friend?!”
“Because I thought that’s what you wanted?!”
She can’t rub her eyes cause she’ll ruin her makeup but she is so mad she just wants to scream. Pressing her fingers to her own temples, she turns away from him and sighs, she loves him so much and yet this is the most frustrating thing that’s ever happened.
“You are so lucky,” she just laughs, shaking her head back and forth as she turns back to him, “you are so fuckin’ lucky.”
“Why?”
She wraps her arms around his middle and looks up into his eyes with one last sigh, “we have to go or we’ll be late, so I can’t explain all of my feelings right now, so let’s bench this conversation and I can show you just how much I love you when we get back?”
“Okay,” he nods. He rests his hands on her arms and he looks down with the softest glance, he’s still trying so hard to not cry. “I’m really sorry.”
“So am I, I should have listened to you better and explained myself more,” she whispers, “do you believe me now?”
He nods, “I told you, it’s hard for me.”
“I tried my best to be subtle so I didn’t scare you off, but I guess you really don’t do subtle?” She can’t help but laugh, “but I really do love you.”
His hands are on her cheeks, pulling her into a kiss, she melts against him. He breathes her in, it’s the longest and deepest kiss she’s ever had and she honestly feels like he’s taking her soul and making her his. She belongs to him and she knows it, now he does too.
“I love you, too.”
—
All eyes are on her and it makes him smile, she’s the only one in a red dress in a room full of black and white, she stands out like a sore thumb. She looks the most beautiful, she stands beside Spencer with her arm wrapped around his and a huge smile on her face, it makes him even happier to see her smile again.
The hardest part of fighting with her was knowing she was upset and that he was only making it worse. Seeing her smile return is everything to him, he loves her more than words can express and she loves him right back, he can tell by the way she smiles at him; because it’s exactly the same way he’s smiling at her.
“I see that you’ve made up,” Derek interrupts their current dance to say hello.
The BAU team was always so busy on nights like this, they had all the best stories and everyone wanted to hear them, which meant they typically didn’t see each other a lot for the whole night.
“We did,” Spencer smiles. “Thank’s Derek.”
She looks up at them both, confused, “how many of them know?”
“Huh?” He plays dumb but she can see right through him.
“Do they all know I’m not really your girlfriend or is it just Aaron, Derek and whoever else you told?”
“Elle,” he says her name. “I told the first girl I slept with that I was falling in love with you because I needed advice from someone who has already been with me and knows how I get.”
“Sick, cool, love that for you,” she smiles and walks away.
He grabs her and she stops, “I told you how much it hurt that I had no one to talk to and you told all of them? And you couldn’t even tell me you really loved me this whole time? I thought we were best friends Spencer?” She shakes her head, disappointed more than anything, swatting his hand off her as he reaches to stop her.
“Let her go, she’s right to be a little mad,” Derek holds him back. “let her be mad.”
“Why?” Spencer is so new to relationships he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
“She wants to be your girlfriend for real, let her calm down and then go apologize and ask her,” Derek's smile is sweet as he pulls Spencer into a hug.
It slowly becomes a dance, everyone is used to Derek being touchy with his friends, he has danced with everyone so far tonight so it’s only fair Spencer has a turn. Spencer holds him tight, eyes closed so he doesn’t have to think about all the attention he’s been getting since they arrived.
“Thank you for always being here for me,” he whispers, “but I have to go see her.”
“Fights like this just make your relationship stronger, it teaches you how she wants you to communicate, she just wants you to be honest with her, always,” he whispers with his cheek pressed to Spencer's, “and angry make-up sex is really fun.”
It makes him laugh, “thanks, but she won’t be sleeping with me for a few days, if my memory is correct then she’s mad for more than one reason.”
“Ah,” Derek gets it, “good luck my friend. Good luck.”
When Spencer pulls away, he heads in the direction Y/N left and follows the hallway as far as it goes. She’s sitting on a bench by a window, staring off at the night sky as she takes some deep breaths. She looks a little more peaceful, she’s had a really rough few weeks and he’s not making it any easier on her.
“I know two things for sure,” he speaks softly but she still jumps a little as she turns to him.
“What would they be?”
“That you’re the love of my life,” he’s confident as he sits on the bench beside her and takes her hand in his. “And I’m an idiot when it comes to love.”
“That is quite the dilemma,” she smirks, her eyes gleam as she looks at him and he knows she was trying not to cry by how glossy they are, but it makes her more beautiful, somehow.
“I’m really sorry.”
“All you have to do is tell me the truth, Spencer,” she places her hand on his leg and leans in with a whisper, “it’s really simple.”
“Truth is,” he whispers right back, lips close enough to kiss, “I’m never going to stop loving you, which means more stupid moments are in my future. Just so you know.”
She giggles and kisses him quickly, “I don’t mind being the smart one in the relationship, but you still have to ask.”
“Will you be my girlfriend and let me love you for the rest of my life, no matter how much I fuck up and drive you crazy?” He teases her, knowing she’ll say yes regardless.
“On one condition,” she can’t hide the smirk on her face and he’s nervous at what she’s thinking.
“Anything?”
“You let me love you for just as long? If not longer.”
He nods, “forever?”
She nods back before kissing him just as deeply as they did that morning, her hands in his hair as she presses his face into her’s with force. She holds him there and breathes him in, pulling back with a classic smooch sound, she smiles again, “you’re my boyfriend now.”
He nods with a small smile, “what should we do first as boyfriend and girlfriend?”
She bites her lip and pretends to think about it for a moment, “fuck in the linen closet down the hall?”
“I don’t have any condoms on me?” Is his only worry, not getting caught, not that all their bosses and superiors were there, just that he didn’t have a condom.
She pulls one out of her bra with a smile, “Savannah gave this to me about 3 minutes before you came over here.”
“How much make-up sex do they have?” He asks as he takes her hand and leads her down the hallway.
She’s giddy and smiling, her heels click on the floor as they rush to the other end of the hall and open the little door. There are shelves with towels and rolls upon rolls of silverware in cloth napkins. A vacuum in the corner, some brooms and just enough room for them.
She pulls him in closer and shuts the door, reconnecting their lips as she pushes him up against it. Hands reaching for his belt she kisses down his neck and he’s like putty in her hands as soon as she strokes him, he moans by accident and she covers his mouth with her free hand.
“Do you have any idea how turned on you make me? I have wanted to fuck you since I first saw you, 6 years ago…”
“Really?” His muffled voice behind her hand makes her laugh. She removes her hand and instead runs her fingers through his hair while taking a moment to look at him and really take it all in.
“Yeah,” she nods, “which is why I asked to sleep with you on the way home from the bar, I didn’t know if I could handle it either it, but I’ve always wanted Doctor Reid from the BAU to rail me. I just didn’t think we’d end up falling in love?”
“No one has ever admitted to having a crush on me and meant it,” he whispers.
“I’m glad I get to be one of your firsts,” she smiles again before he pulls her into another kiss.
She kisses the side of his mouth and then his jaw, down his neck and then she’s dropping to her knees in front of him. He’s hard in her hands but he twitches as he sees her like this, looking up at him with lust-blown eyes as she strokes him, she flattens her tongue and taps the tip of his cock to it.
He has to cover his own mouth or else he’s going to get them caught, he moans at the feeling, closing his eyes and that's when she takes him in her mouth. His free hand is in her hair, careful not to mess it up but enough grip to steady himself.
He tilts his head back against the door with a knock and a sign, “fuck,” he can’t help but talk into his hand which only makes it sound louder in the tight space.
She feels so good every single time and yet this one feels different, he looks down at her and she pulls off, “what’s wrong?”
“I love you,” he shrugs.
He helps her back up to her feet and she backs up against the shelves, “come here?”
He helps her hike her dress up, holding all the material up as he slips her underwear off and takes that condom back out of her bra with a single kiss to her chest. He rolls it over himself and lines up with her, her arms wrap around his shoulders as she looks at him, “show me how much you love me?”
He slides in and they don’t break eye contact as she takes him, her mouth opens in a silent gasp at the feeling, her hands grip his shoulders tighter as she steadies her ass on a shelf and wraps her legs around him while he bottoms out.
With a hand on her cheek and one on her lower back, he pulls out and thrusts back in with a smile as she bites back a moan, she pulls his face in close to hers to kiss him while he fucks her. The hand on his cheek slides down her neck, applying a small amount of pressure that makes her breathing hitch. She swallows sharply before his hand starts to trail over her breasts and then between them.
With a thumb on her clit, he fucks her a little harder while rubbing his thumb in a circle. She’s breathing heavily into his mouth, placing sloppy kisses against each other as they enjoyed each other.
She’s so close and he knows it, and then there is a knock on the door.
“Spence, we have a case when you’re done?” He hears Derek's voice behind the door and he can’t believe it.
“Okay!” He calls back without stopping, instead, he fucks into her a little faster.
“Oh!” She moans by accident before covering her mouth with a slap and wide eyes, moaning behind her hand as she bounces on his cock.
He kisses her hand, making her move it so he can press his lips back to hers and absorb all the noises she was going to make, her hands both reach for his back, gripping his suit jacket so tight he’s afraid she might rip it.
She cums with a shocked gasp, it’s as quiet as possible but it still echos around them as he gets closer and closer. He buries his face in her neck and accidentally moans as well as he cums, stilling his hips as he holds her there, sputtering his hips against hers as they catch their breath.
“I love you,” he manages to say between breaths, “that much.”
“You need to go,” she smiles.
He kisses her one last time before he pulls out, he loves the way she gasps every time he does so. She smiles after, their teeth clashing as they laugh, “I’m going to get in so much trouble.”
“I’m never going to get a job,” she shakes her head as she gets off the shelf and fixes her dress.
He takes off the condom and wraps it in some paper towel on the shelf, he’ll get rid of it later. She picks up her underwear, he thinks she puts them back on, but she really slides them into his pocket for him to find in the middle of the case when he reaches for something important...
—
She rides back to headquarters with Penelope and JJ, both of them want to ask and she knows it. Mainly because she looks like she’s had sex, and also because she asks to stop at the academy so she can get another pair of underwear from her locker.
It’s not until they’re in Penelope’s office that they ask, “what’s it like?”
“What’s what like?” She plays dumb.
“Dating Spencer?” Penelope says, “more specifically, having sex with him?” She mumbles and it makes Y/N laugh.
“In total, we’ve been having sex for 3 weeks now and I’ve had 21 orgasms, and we only really fuck on the weekends cause that’s when we’re not busy…” she grinds her teeth slightly with a raised brow, taking a deep breath, “yeah. It’s really great.”
“Holy shit?” They both look more shocked than she’s ever seen them. “How many has he had?” Penelope asks with a quiet voice, pretending she didn’t.
She laughs slightly, “like maybe 14? He’s really generous.”
“What the fuck?” JJ turns to Penelope and shakes her head and there’s something more there that Y/N can sense.
“Who’s Elle?” She asks and they both turn to her with the biggest eyes.
“How do you know about Elle?”
“She’s the first person he slept with?”
“When?” They both shout.
“So he wasn’t kidding. You guys really thought he was a virgin this whole time?” She looks at them like they’re crazy. “How?”
They both just shake their heads and sigh, stuttering and looking for words they don’t have. “We just never thought he could?”
“Snooze ya loose, I guess?” She shrugs, “so what is the case and how can I help?”
“Right! We have a case,” Penelope snaps back into it, “but seriously Elle? Are you sure you have your names right?”
“Penelope,” she looks at her seriously.
“Right, they’re headed to Roanoke.”
There was a child abduction of a 6-year-old girl, CARD and the BAU were both called out and that meant everyone was mingling on the two floors and they would use as much help as possible.
It also turns out that Anderson’s surrogate went into labour a little earlier than anyone expected; so he and his husband have left for paternity leave early. Leaving JJ without an assistant and she really needs help in the office for this one.
She catches on rather quickly, knowing the protocols from her training and she’s not afraid to ask questions. She’s still in her dress, her heels click on the tiles as she rushes around with files, making phone calls and running from the briefing room to Penelope’s office.
When they finally crack the case and apprehend the suspect, she sits down finally. It’s been 11 hours since the banquet, and she was exhausted beyond belief. She never slept the night before, Spencer was uncomfortable and she was in her jeans and when she did fall asleep, he was waking her up moments later to get ready.
It's Sunday morning at 9 am when Spencer finally returns back at headquarters. She’s sitting at his desk when he comes up and wraps his arms around her, “we’re going home, come on.”
“Don’t you have to debrief?”
“Did that on the way back,” he turns her around in the role chair and tilts her head up to look at him, she’s so tired and he can tell. “You have a big day tomorrow.”
“Ugh,” she stands up with his help, “I did enough profiling today and now I have a whole week to get through.”
“Just to come back and work here,” he smiles, “if you still want to?”
She wraps him up in a real hug and nods against him, “it’s so fun, even with all the murder.”
“Coming home to this is really nice,” he whispers before kissing her cheek quickly, “I’m glad you like it here.”
“Well, well, well,” Derek's voice is behind them. They pull away to see him smiling, arms wide as he saunters over, “if it isn’t the new romantics.”
“Did you have any suspicions?” Y/N asks, he was a profiler after all.
“I knew something was up,” he’s honest. “I knew you guys were actually doing stuff together, I just didn’t think there was so much angst behind closed doors?”
“You have no idea,” Y/N laughs, holding Spencer closer, “it took too long.”
“I thought you were fighting about the job, cause he wasn’t really upset until you were in Penelope’s office, and I heard the rumours even before he heard what you said,” Derek smiles again, “but I also knew you loved him and he loves you.”
“Correct,” she can’t help but smile. “But we really should head home.”
“Home we go,” Spencer agrees.
—
She asks him to unzip her dress the second they’re back in her apartment. She drops the dress to the floor and heads to the bathroom and he’s left alone in her room. It feels different now. He remembers kissing her in the living room for the first time like it was yesterday, he remembers the first time they had sex, the first time he said I love you, and now he’s here and she’s his girlfriend and he’s going to get to make more memories with her.
He’s so embarrassed by how much he’s been crying lately, something about being in his mid-30s was making him feel like he was about to go through menopause— he has never been very openly emotional, but it’s about time he lets himself feel. He wipes the tears and turns to face the wall while he takes his suit off.
He’s been through too much, a lot of which she doesn’t know of. She has promised him forever, whether she means it or not, and he’s worried he’s going to fuck it up before he gets there.
When she comes back, she lays a towel down on her side of the bed and gets in, “guess who got her period on her first day of work?”
“No?” He gasps, playing along with her playful mood. “At least you’re not pregnant.”
“Thank god,” she sighs, “please for the love of God, don’t get me pregnant for at least 5 years? I want a decent career first so that I don't miss much on maternity leave. I really don't want to be benched for having kids.”
He cries again and she looks so concerned as she gets out of bed and wraps her arms around him, “what did I say wrong, Spencer?”
Still facing the wall, he just lets it all out, “I’m sorry.”
“For what, sweetheart?” She attempts to soothe him by running her hands down his arms, “for crying or something else?”
“Crying,” he whispers and she turns him around then.
“Hey,” she looks up at him with the softest expression he’s ever seen, “you are allowed to have emotions, you are allowed to show them and ask for help and tell me when you need something. I’m not going to think you’re too much, or I can’t handle you or think of you as a burden. I know that’s how you feel because it’s how I fell, and we don’t need to go through that together.”
“I love you,” it’s the only thing that feels right to say.
“I love you,” she repeats it, “what made you cry?”
“Can we get in bed first?”
“Yeah, finish getting ready and then come tell me,” she whispers before reaching up and pressing a kiss to his lips.
He slips away to go to the bathroom, brushing his teeth and washing his face. He’s exhausted but he doesn’t want to miss any time with her. He hurries back to her side, getting into bed in his underwear and making sure both his phones are on the night table, charged and ready if they need him.
But until then, he belonged to her.
“Are you sure you don’t want to sleep?” It’s the first thing he asks because he knows she has a big day tomorrow. “It can wait.”
“What’s that thing you say about intermittent sleep is actually better?”
“Don’t use my words against me, I do that so people don’t stop me from doing what I think I deserve,” he’s truthful. “I’m not going to ever lie or fib to you again. I hate myself, and if I don’t feel like I’ve done enough I won't sleep or eat sometimes.”
“I do that too,” she’s not proud, “are you trying to tell me you cried cause you’re hungry or tired?”
“No,” he smiles, “but thank you for asking for clarification, I like this new system.”
“Me too.”
“I cried because I really love you and I’m realizing this is all real and I’m going to get to make good memories with you, and when you said kids, even in a hypothetical sense, it made it feel real for me,” he whispers the words before pressing his lips together awkwardly.
She glows in the lap light like she did that first night, “it’s a weird concept, isn’t it? The future. At some point I’m going to have known you longer than anyone, one day we’ll have lived with each other longer than we’ve lived apart. We might be grandparents together one day? It’s all weird to think about.”
“Do you seriously want all that with me?” He’s asking because he has another question to ask right after.
“Yes, Spencer,” she laughs. “I really do.”
“Would you like to Marry me?”
“Seriously?” Her eyes widen and her jaw drops and he’s never seen her look this stunned before.
He nods, “my mom isn’t going to able to appreciate my wedding the longer I wait, and if you really mean it; I’d like to have a wedding with my mom there while she remembers me.”
“I know her birthday is coming up, but can we bring her here instead?”
“Why?”
“My parents decided to drive from Salam to here for my graduation and use the flight money on a nice Airbnb for the week. We should do it while they’re all here because I don’t know when they’d be able to come back,” she has had the same worries about her parents missing her life.
“I’ll ask my mom,” he smiles. “So we’re getting married?”
“in like a week,” she laughs, “oh fuck, how are we going to do that in a week?”
He rolls over and grabs his personal phone, he dials a number and she looks even more confused now.
“Hey Penelope, how fast can you plan a wedding?”

Running Into You - Joaquin Torres
Pairing: Joaquin Torres x Reader
Summary: After Torres helps you find your way to your college class, you always seem to run into him.
Warnings: fluff, so much fluff, Torres being adorable, swearing
Words: 1606
A/N: Joaquin Torres has my whole heart okay?? I really hope this isn’t too ooc! Hope you guys enjoy this one and please let me know what you think, I love you all! xxx
Panic filled your body like poison as you checked the campus map again – the map that made no fucking sense – and then you glanced at your watch. You weren’t late yet but if you kept this up for much longer then you would be late, you had had to transfer to a different college in the middle of the semester, and you hated being the new girl. Blinking back frustrated tears, you looked down the long winding hallways; you just wanted to give up. It was then that your saviour turned up.
“Are you okay, Miss? Are you lost?” at the sound of the warm, kind voice you whirled around.
You were met with the warmest chocolate brown eyes that you had ever seen. Tearing your eyes away from his, you looked at him properly and blushed when he gave you a lopsided grin that made his eyes crinkle. He was very handsome but not in an intimidating way, his smile was very inviting.
“Yes, is it that obvious?” you laughed, “are you a student here?” you asked but supposed that it was a stupid question since he was dressed in army gear.
“Me? No, I’m not,” he smiled, running a hand through his dark hair, “I was just making sure that my little sister actually went to her class. What lesson have you got?” he nodded at the schedule and map in your hand.
“Oh,” you mumbled, feeling flustered at the presence of the handsome stranger with the puppy dog eyes who was willing to help, “History.”
The man’s face lit up at once, “seriously? I just came from the History lecture hall! Can I walk you? I wouldn’t want you to get lost again,” he laughed as he held out his hand, “I’m Joaquin Torres, but most people call me Torres.”
You smiled as you placed your hand in his warm one and shook it, “Y/N Y/L/N, but most people call me, Y/N,” you giggled, “and I’ll be glad of your help, thank you.”
Torres laughed, his nose scrunching up in the process, “you’re welcome, Y/N. Let’s go.”
As you walked down the hallway, glad to have an ally, you glanced at Torres’ handsome profile, “so you said you just walked your sister to her class? I don’t know many brothers who would do that.”
Torres rolled his eyes as he scoffed, “found out that she was skipping her classes. Someone has to be the responsible sibling.”
You laughed, thinking that it was awfully nice of him, “what’s her name?”
“Ava, she’s a pain in my ass but I love her.”
The name Ava Torres sounded familiar, where had you heard that name before? Then it hit you, “oh! She’s my roommate but I haven’t met her yet, I was meant to be here yesterday morning but my flight was delayed and I didn’t get here till late last night. I didn’t want to disturb her so I crashed in a motel for the night.”
Torres clicked his tongue and gave you a sweet smile, “you didn’t have to do that, how come you transferred in the middle of the semester?”
Before you could stop it, the smile slid from your face, you could hardly tell a stranger that your mom was in her final months of life. You were the only family that she had left so you had moved to be close to her.
Before you could utter a word, Torres immediately starting babbling through an apology, “I’m sorry, Y/N. I shouldn’t have asked, I’m so goddamn nosy,” he almost winced.
You had to suppress a giggle, he was so adorable when he was nervous, “it’s okay,” you assured him as he glanced over at you, biting his lip, “it’s just easier for me to be in this city,” he nodded as he gave you an apologetic smile.
A gorgeous young woman who was about to walk into the lecture hall rolled her eyes as soon as she saw Torres, “I’m going to class, okay?”
Torres held up his hands in defence as he gestured over to you, “this is Y/N Y/L/N,” before he could introduce you further, the woman gasped and pulled you into a warm hug.
You giggled as you hugged her back, “I’m Ava, your roommate, it’s so nice to meet you!”
You grinned at Ava as she pulled away, “it’s nice to meet you too.”
Ava smiled at you before she looked over your shoulder to glare at her brother, “goodbye, Joaquin.”
You glanced at Torres as he stuffed his hands in his pockets and gave you a shy smile, “it was really great to meet you, Y/N.”
You flushed, your insides turning to jelly as you felt the warmth from his smile, “it was good to meet you too, Torres. Thank you for helping me find my way.”
“No problem,” he smiled as he began to walk away, glancing back over his shoulder to shoot you one last grin. You took one last lingering look at him before walking into the lecture hall with Ava.
Over the next few weeks, you became closer with Ava, it was natural because you roomed together and had class together. Ava was a really cool girl with a heart of gold – though she hardly ever showed it – she was a lot like her brother in that respect. She was tired of how protective Torres was of her but you thought it was really sweet and endearing. You hadn’t seen much of Torres since you had first encountered him in the hallway and you were fine with that but you were lying if you said that you weren’t feeling a little deflated.
One night, you were studying for your upcoming History exam when there came a knock on the door of your dorm. Ava grumbled, “that better not be my useless ex-boyfriend,” she pulled open the door and sighed, “what the hell are you doing here?”
There came a mutter of a reply, “left your jacket at my place,” you frowned and looked at Ava but you couldn’t see who was at the door.
Ava scoffed as she took her leather jacket, “I didn’t desperately need it, and I have tons of jackets. Why are you really here?”
The visitor ignored her as they popped their head round the doorway and you instantly felt butterflies swarm in your stomach, “hey, Y/N.”
“Hi, Torres,” you giggled, lifting your hand in a wave.
“How are you?” he began to ask.
Ava rolled her eyes, “seriously? Get out of here,” she pushed at her brother’s chest and slammed the door behind him.
A couple of weeks later, you were hanging out at the bar that Ava worked in when a honey like voice filled your ears and made your blood fizz with excitement, “fancy seeing you here, Y/N.”
You smiled, inhaling a deep breath as you told yourself to play it cool, “Torres,” you turned to look at his handsome grinning face and you raised an eyebrow, “are you following me?” you teased.
Torres’ eyes widened as he held up his hands in defence, “oh God, no I swear! I’m just here with my friends,” he gestured over to the table of people who were sitting right by the dartboard before he hesitated, “you’re messing with me aren’t you?” he rolled his eyes playfully when you giggled with a nod, “can I get you a drink?”
“Sure, thank you,” you grinned, your heart skipping a beat when he gave you that famous lopsided grin and you spent the better part of the night getting to know him a little bit more.
The following week, you were watching shit TV, bored out of your mind when you heard a knock on the door. Glad for something to do, you jumped up and walked over to the door, pulling it open to see Joaquin Torres standing on the other side.
“Hi Torres, are you looking for Ava? She isn’t here right now.”
Torres shook his head, his eyes blazing with determination but you could see that he was nervous, “it was you that I came to talk to,” he sighed, resting his hands on the doorframe, “I should have said something before now. God, I should have said something, but I like you, a lot,” he laughed nervously, his eyes soft and warm as he grinned at you.
“Joaquin,” you gasped, placing your hands on his firm chest and you realised that that was the first time you had called him by his first name. Your heart fluttered as your legs turned to jelly and you began to feel light headed at his intoxicating smile. It didn’t help that he smelled fucking amazing, like cinnamon with just a hint of cigarette smoke. You were glad that he felt the same, “I like you too.”
The smile that Torres shot you was breath taking and he rested a warm hand on your cheek. His gaze flickered down to your lips like he was waiting for your permission. When you nodded his warm lips covered yours, kissing you gently. You wound your arms around his neck, playing with the hair at the nape of his neck as you deepened the kiss, pulling at his bottom lip with your teeth. He grunted against your lips and allowed you access, shivering as your tongue brushed against his and you tasted the spearmint gum that he’d been chewing.
When Torres pulled away, his lips were swollen and his eyes were slightly dazed, “can I take you to dinner sometime?”
“I’d love that,” you grinned as you pulled him in for another kiss.

“At your brother’s work ?!” You clear your throat and apologize for being loud, giving Yeji, your bestfriend, a death glare.
You were supposed to go at her house but, as clumsy as she is, she forgots the keys… in the house. You had two options ; go back to your own, which means procrastinating and giving zero fucks about your homeworks, or go to her brother’s work to take back the keys.
“Hum, yeah… But, there’s a little something… He needs his keys to close the shop, so… we have to work there…” Second death glare. “But you know him, he don’t give a fuck as long as we’re not noisy ! And his co-worker is cool too, I promise.”
You were friend with Yeji since you were a child. Of course you knew her old brother, Hyunjin was such a nice guy. He may seems cold on the outside but he has the warmest personality and had always made you feel like his own little sister even tho you haven’t seen him in a while, due to school.
You sighed at Yeji’s puppy eyes, nodding, knowing that you’ve already lost the battle. She was the best negociator.
That’s how you ended up in front of one of the most famous tattoo shop in your city. Indeed, Hyunjin was the owner of it with his long-time friend. They both were tattoo artists since more or less 2 years. According to Yeji, he was drawing before learning how to talk so it seems pretty logical for him to work in something artistic.
Without knowing why you felt a little bit uneasy, asking the blonde girl if she’s totally sure that it won’t bother Hyunjin and his friend to have you there. You were just students and for adults aged 27-28 years it could be annoying to hear you talk about your lessons. But she was quick to reassure you, even showing you her texts with her brother through her phone.
“Hyunjin ! We’re here !”
As soon as you entered the shop Yeji screamed at his brother and you clap your hand to her forehead.
“Shush ! What if he’s wor- “
“Hello to the prettiest girl heeeeere. No, Yeji, I’m not talking about you, you ugly rat.”
Your smile was immediate after the blond-haired and obviously tattooed boy puts you into a warm hug, patting your head while poking his tongue to his young sister, like the very 28 years old matured adult he is. He had no customers at the moment, and he was just working on some new design, but you can still hear some little machine noises so you guess his friend was tattoing someone in the practice room.
“It’s been a really long time Y/N, how are you ? C’mon, have a sit. Y’all need to work on your classes ? You can sit there, I’m just here, he shows you the sofa right beside the table with his index, if you need anything. You’re at home, here. Seungmin will be over in maybe fourteen minutes so you have time to work.”
You both nod in unision, sitting on the chairs to starts working on an unfinished cases while Hyunjin was giving you two glasses of water to finally go back to focus on his drawings. Yeji and you were sharing ideas, writing and making some researches on your respective laptops. No breaks were allowed unless you’ve finished what you’ve started.
“Maybe we should add the fact that... Hey, Seungmin !” Yeji’s smile was wide and she greets someone behind you, shaking her hands.
Politely, you turn around to face the one you’re supposed to be Hyunjin’s co-worker, Seungmin. You hold back your jaw from dropping on the ground the moment your eyes met his.
He was, honestly, the most beautiful human being you have ever seen. His dark purple hair where falling onto his forehead in a delicate way, covering half of his dark brown and absolutely magnetic eyes. His pretty nose was pierced with a silver ring and his lips were as pink as your burning cheeks. His broad shoulders were hidden in a large black t-shirt and at this right moment your eyes were glued to his inked forearms. Of course you’ve already seen inked people, Hyunjin was one of them, but him…There was something special about him.
“Hello ? Is anybody here ? Youhou, are you alive ?” You heard Hyunjin while he was moving his hands in front of Seungmin’s eyes causing you to cut the contact between the two of us.
Apparently, he was gazing in your eyes too.
“Yeah… yeah, sorry I was just thinking about... you know... stuffs. Hey, Yeji, you good?“ Even his voice was soft and smooth, almost honey-like. He comes closer to the desk you were working on so you immediately stand up, bowing down respectfully and you realized how taller he was compared to you. “Who are you ?”
You frowned your eyebrows, almost agape by his suddenly cold voice and distant attitude. Your eyes can’t no longer detach from each other, and you open slowly your mouth. Everything about him was fascinating, from his lack of expression to the way he was nervously playing with his fingers. Well, you supposed it was nervosity.
“I... I’m Y/N. I’m Yeji’s friend, I’m sorry if we’ve disturb you.”
He hums and nods, leaning over you to take his cigarettes pack and you gulp silently at your sudden proximity. His strong and wooded scent was all around you, making you melt. You had the perfect view on the two black eyes drawn on his throat and you almost felt judged by them from acting like a teenager. It felt like they were staring into your soul, knowing your deepest secrets.
But the most humiliating part was probably the Hwang’s suggestive look on you.
—————————————✰ —————————————
You were so stupid. Nobody could be dumber than you. You were at the highest rank of stupidity. Idiot was your second name.
You sigh, dry throat and shaking hands. You were at the front door of Hyunjin and Seungmin’s tattoo shop. Alone. Indeed, yesterday your brain wasn’t working like usual, thanks to one particular man, and you forgot your phone there. Yes, your phone. You were that distracted. It was 2pm and Yeji couldn’t come with you cause she had classes, but you didn’t. And you really needed your phone after almost a day without it.
You came into the shop, looking all around you to realize that Hyunjin wasn’t here. Seungmin was staring at you from across the room, coming closer to you with your treasure in his hand, and you had forget for a moment how much his inked hands looks like. You stare at the pretty heart drawn on his thumb, the long black line on his major digit and the word “ LOVE “ on his wrist. You were so focused that you almost forgot about your phone.
“You like them ?” You jump at his slow voice and you can feel your cheeks burning instantly. Were you really that dumb to fix your eyes on his hands ? “You can touch them, if you want.”
He puts your phone on the table near you, holding out his two hands in front of you. It was almost sureal. Two adults, standing in front of each other awkardly. You can’t hide the excited smile to grows on your lips and with softness you touch his tattoos with the tip of your index finger, retracing them as if it was a pen. You were surprised by the softness of his pretty skin.
“They are so pretty... You points at a cute little smiley on his other hand. This one is my favorite ! You hear him chuckles, looking at you with such fondly eyes you were so destabilized. You back off him when you realize the situation, biting your lips. I’m sorry... I... I was just... I mean, you know, my phone...”
“You can stay. He said quickly. Hyunjin isn’t here and I have no appointment. I’ve heard you were working on some juridic cases yesterday and I... Well, I have a master in law, so I was wondering maybe I can help you ?”
Your eyes widen in surprise, first cause he was offering you to stay with him, alone, and second cause he has done the same studies as you, something you wouldn't have thought of.
The both of you were then sitting in the sofa, casually talking as if you knew each other since forever. You’ve discovered that he didn’t wants to be a lawyer but his parents had always put some pressure on him to have what they liked to call a good job. And it wasn’t his way of thinking, he wanted to feel free, to love his job and not to feel any pressure from anyone. He was so kind to you, making you more feel comfortable than yesterday. Shy, sweet, talkative and curious about anything you’re saying. A 28 years old man, mature, understanding and independant.
Needless to say that you didn’t talk about your school lessons, but just about the two of you. Also needless to say that you were fascinated. There was just something about his eyes scanning you everytime you were talking, and it felt so good to be the center of his attention. Your conversations were so fluids, you couldn’t hold back yourself to talk and to look at his beautiful features.
“Mind if I draw on you?” He cuts you off when you were talking, grabbing his colorful pens that was near him. He looks at you with his still hypnotic dark eyes and you nod your head with a shy smile. He kneels down infront of you on the ground as you were still sitting on the sofa. You internally thank the beautiful days for allowing you to put on a skirt. “Can I draw on your thighs? I mean, I have a big idea! But I want you to discover it, but if it makes you uncomfortable I-”
“No, no! It’s ok! You can, of course, do it Seungmin. I trust you.”
He smiles timidly, probably knowing that he got a little carried away. He was so passionnate about art that you couldn’t refrein him to do what he has to.
Seungmin then starts drawing on one of your legs, starting from your ankle to your knee. He draws pretty colorful flowers on your skin, it was so soft and beautiful you can’t stop staring at his work on you. He quickly reaches the level of your thigh and he was so close to you that you felt his hot breath against your shivering skin. You felt you mind dizzy for a moment, as his lips were also close to you. Unconsciously you tighten your legs between them, which makes him raise his face to look at you. His pupils were now totally black and this view of him between your legs was all you needed to lose your mind.
You softly grab his hair, making him smirk and immediatly starts to kiss your two thighs. He was so soft, taking his time to discover all of your sensitive spots. And you ? You were already lost, spreading your legs slowly so he can be placed correctly between them. Your inner thighs was his target, he sucks your flesh and you whines at the feeling.
“Please...” You see him smile, licking everywhere but your heat spot. Even your pubic area was drowned in sweet kisses. “Please, I... Do something I can’t...”
Seungmin hums, gripping your legs so they can rest against his shoulders. He lifts your skirt up, moving your pantie on the side and take his time to look at your intimate parts with hungry eyes. You clear your throat, embarassed that he looks at you like that and he gives your clit a kiss.
“So fucking pretty... Fuck, Y/N you’re so pretty, look at that pretty flower...” You chuckles at the surname he gaves to your womanhood.
He doesn’t waste any more time and starts kissing your wet folds at a slow pace, taking his time to taste your wetness. His tongue was heaven like against you, he was so precise and slow, you couldn’t contain your moans escaping your mouth. His plump lips surround your bud, sucking on it and circling his wet muscle all around your swollen one.
Your legs tighten against his head as you feel the heat waves crashing against your lower abdom like a delicious torment.
Two of his fingers join his tongue and he finally insert them in your clenching wetness. Your eyes rolls back the moment you feel yourself kinda full, but you lost it the moment he curls his fingers inside of you to stroke your sweetest no-return point.
You moan his name, biting your lips, moving your hips against his magical mouth as he helps you rode your orgasm, pumping his two fingers in you while licking tirelessly your folds and clit the fastest as he can.
Your breath was cut, and you can feel him gives butterflies kisses on you, replacing correctly your clothes on you. He stands up, cleaning his own fingers by licking them which make you blush at the view. He strokes your messy hair, kissing your forehead with a reassuring smile.
“I think I’ve found my muse.”

NISHINOYA YUU aka THE GUARDIAN DEITY (I don’t really think I have to change his moniker)
With this guy, you’ve got an instant bodyguard for better or worse
He’s always around you committed to guard you from all harm including that falling leave that dared to touch your hair
Will openly announce his adoration for you in public and
Will openly announce as well how he will deal with this who come your way
No one…I mean no one really gets to touch you or else this boi will rolling thunder their sorry ass
He’s willing to do so much for you so if he sees you crying…the one who made you cry must prepare
Will surely get to the bottom of things
Always there for you like always there
It didn’t help that he’s making his way to get nearer to you like one day he lives one block away from you, then he just suddenly became your neighbour…
Next thing you know, he convinced your parents to stay at your house
He looks so happy and energetic even when he’s mad at you it’s creepy sometimes
Can’t bring himself to hurt you on his ‘average days’
But would punish you if you got yourself in danger
“What do you mean you’re being too careless and accidentally hurt yourself?” Noya asked quite baffled until he beamed at you his big ball of energy all the while something sinister underlies his tone. “Oh, you’ve been a bad girl, Y/N-chan! You’re not getting it good.”
Danger level: 50% Pet peeve: People/things that cause you harm and you being so careless sometimes
ASAHI AZUMANE aka THE GENTLE ACE
You first saw him while you were going home and it’s raining (talk about setting the eerie mood)
He’s there…staring right at you like he wants to talk to you or something
You got scared because even if you changed your destination, he still followed
Like why the hell would a grown ass man follow you?!?!?!
He’s probably in College?! Or has his own wife and child already?! Why was he following you?
You felt relieved when you arrived home, because finally!
The next day, however, it’s still the same
You panicked and dropped the banana milk you just bought from the convenience store
“Y-Y/N!” You heard the man called for you and you ran away as fast as you can
The next day, you found the same brand of banana milk you dropped yesterday on your desk
Then you were surprised to find the man belonging to the other class O_O
Poor you, you didn’t know that he’s the most normal among these dudes
He simply wanted to ask if you wanted to share his umbrella
And he simply just wanted to give you the banana milk you dropped because you panicked!
This guy was often misunderstood because he’s said to look older than he actually is
But he’s as soft as mochi on the inside TT-TT
“Y-Y/N…did you get the banana milk you dropped yesterday?” YN! How did he even know your name? How? Stupid, it’s written on your jersey every time you play volleyball.
Danger level: 10% Pet peeve: Seriously? This guy?
SUGAWARA KOUSHI aka THE SMOTHERING SETTER
His presence reminded you of warm cinnamon rolls
He had that sweet and very snuggly voice that simply drew you close to him
You thought that being hugged by him was a comfort next to your favourite blankyy
And you weren’t wrong
He gave the comfiest hugs and the bubbliest of all kisses
At first, it was those little pieces of advice he gave you like what to eat and who’s the best time to sleep
He was just so addicting that you didn’t even notice that drastic changes happening in your life
You didn’t even notice that you no longer have any friends
You’re even unaware they went missing!!!
Your only contact on your cellphone was him
You do whatever he likes you to do and you still feel good about it even if you already lost your sense of self
Truly, Suga’s really the sweetest and warmest guy there was that you could ever know of
But anything warm can also scorch you
And anything sweet can cause you diabetes
He seemed to have the reins over your emotions and very well adept to set up your feelings to his advantage
“Y/N…What did I told you about having friends?” He said while gently and softly stroking the top of your head while you’re in between his arms.
He leaned closer near your ear and whispered. “You must have no one except me, okay?”
Then gave you a little kiss on your temple.
Danger level: 70% Pet peeve: Other people getting between you and him
SAWAMURA DAICHI aka THE CAPTAIN DADDY
If his moniker didn’t say it all I don’t know what will
Has the big daddy energy going on with him
You thought he’s very protective, dependable and responsible
Buys you stuff you want cuz you’re his little baby girl
You’re kinda’ spoiled and you loved it but
He can get a a little bit extra with some things
Even if you want to run, you can’t and you won’t (sorry)
Like his overprotectiveness
Literally would knock someone’s soul out of their body if they dare try to flirt/hurt you
Who knows how many have already fallen under his wrath?
Strict af will punish you if you ever try to talk back or disobey him (choking and hair pulling included)
Not to mention, he’s very authoritative behind closed doors
No soft or hard limits with this guy
As much as he loves punishing you, he also loves to reward you
Loves seeing you in your most submissive self ever
Gets an odd satisfaction in seeing you so helpless and on your knees begging him please (don’t forget the ‘daddy’ or else you’ll get a good spankin’)
“Get on my lap, Y/N.” His voice demanding and domineering. “If you don’t, I’ll make you.”
Danger level: 70% Pet peeve: Your disobedience

Journal Entry #34
Victor
It's been an unusual week.
I feel like I say that a lot, but maybe it's because over the last several months we've had a ton of stuff going on in our lives, and sometimes it can be hard to take in. Maybe some of it isn't that unusual, but it seems like we have times when multiple events, good and bad, are all happening at once. It's a little overwhelming, to be honest.
Yuri and I have been getting along better since our unexpected overnight stay in the Hideout. We really needed to get some issues out in the open, and the fact that we sort of got stuck there might've been a blessing in disguise. It gave us a chance to talk in private, without worrying about any interruptions.
Unfortunately, though, despite our progress, it really hadn't been a great night. Yuri was a lot more ill than he wanted to admit, and I'm certain the accommodations weren't all that comfortable for him. His pain was making him restless, and he kept waking up through the night. I didn't get much sleep either. I was too worried about him.
In the morning, he insisted he could climb down from the Hideout by himself. I didn't like the idea, but I didn't argue. I just told him to take his time. Getting down felt like it took ages, but we both made it to the ground without incident, although Yuri did sort of fall over once his feet hit solid earth. I sat on the leaf-covered dirt and held him on my lap, and he rested for a while before we started making the short journey back to Mom's house.
Mom was none too pleased when when we finally showed up. Apparently, she'd been texting both of us like crazy since the previous night, but since we'd both left our phones at the house, we hadn't replied. She said she was about to go out looking for us, so it was lucky for everyone that we came back when we did.
I think Mom probably would've given us a lecture, but considering the state Yuri was obviously in, it seemed she thought better of it. She hugged me and made a sort of air-hugging gesture in front of Yuri, and then told us to get cleaned up. She mentioned that she and Julian had intended to go to the farmers' market, and with our return, the plan was back on the agenda. She'd see us when she got back, she said, and she extracted a promise from me that I'd give her a full explanation later.
I had absolutely no intention of telling her everything, but I figured I could explain in sufficient detail to satisfy her. There are some things a guy's mother doesn't need to know about what goes on between him and his husband, you know? I used to tell her almost literally everything, but I'm finding that, since she visited us this summer, I'm less inclined to share every little detail with her.
Anyway, after that, we went downstairs and I helped Yuri in the bath. Then I got him dressed in the warmest PJs he had with him, made sure he took his medication, and tucked him into bed with his hot water bottle. I asked him if he wanted me to stay with him for a while, but he said no, so I gave him a little kiss on the forehead and promised to check on him in an hour or so.
He was curled up and crying quietly as I was leaving the room. Yuri hardly ever cries, so I knew he was feeling really bad. I guessed that we were in for a rough couple of days.
That was Sunday. By Tuesday, which was the day before yesterday, he was doing better, much to my relief. He got out of bed when I did, and even had a few bites of my fruit salad at breakfast.
I've just kind of gotten used to him picking food off my plate rather than always having a plate of his own. When it comes to eating, whatever is least stressful for him works for me. I've even been known to feed him when he's really ill, as bad as I’m sure that may sound to some people. But I mean, needs must, right? I'm willing to go with anything that keeps him from becoming undernourished, and if that sometimes involves me holding the spoon, so be it. I think he likes the attention in the moment too, even though I know he worries about it in hindsight.
Actually, the topic of me feeding Yuri brings me around to the really interesting thing that happened on Tuesday afternoon. Thinking that the fresh air would do him good, I coaxed him to come outside with me. It was overcast, but it was warm enough not to need jackets. We sat at the picnic table in the back yard, and I patiently fed him oatmeal sweetened with maple syrup while we watched the comings and goings of several blue jays from the nearby bird feeder.
That's when we met the neighbours from across the street.
Even if I didn't know everyone, I'd thought I could at least recognize all the people who live on this block of Canal Street and the intersecting street, Foundry Lane. It was slightly disconcerting to realize I had no idea who the elder couple puttering away in their front garden were. I don't know how they knew I was watching them, but at some point, they started watching Yuri and me as well. Every so often, I caught them looking our way. Eventually, their inquisitiveness must've got the best of them, because they dusted themselves off and meandered across the street.
I guessed they were probably in their late sixties or early seventies; old enough to be elders but not too old to have plenty of energy left in them. The man was thin and had a leathery, deeply lined face, like he'd spent a lot of time outdoors without sunscreen. The woman had delicate facial features that reminded me a lot of Yuri's grandmother, who I'd met a handful of times at family gatherings I'd been compelled to go to. She carried herself with the same type of grace and economy of movement as Yuri's mom and grandmother, too. I could easily imagine this lady had been a stunning beauty when she was young.
More than anything else I could say, I'll say this; they aren't the least bit shy. Most people would start with hello. They started with a question.
"I hope you don't think we're being nosy," the man said. "But we haven't seen you around here before. Are you new to the neighbourhood?"
I had to smile at that. "No," I told him. "I grew up here in this house, actually, but we don't live here now. We're just visiting. I'm Grace Nelson's son. Do you know her?"
"Of course," said the woman. "Dr. Grace and Dr. Julian are lovely people. They take excellent care of our cats. If you're her son, then you're Victor. Correct?"
"Yeah," I said. "You have us at a disadvantage, though."
"My apologies. I'm Kimiko Miyazaki, and this is my husband, Robert MacAllister. You can call me Kim if you like. Everyone does."
Her English was flawless, and I guessed that she'd either been born here or that she'd been here a very long time. Yuri and I exchanged a look at hearing her name, and I immediately thought of our former neighbour, Kimiko Ishida, from Wakabamori. Yuri seemed to brighten a little. Somehow I doubted he would be calling her by the very English-sounding nickname of Kim.
"Pleased to meet you, Miyazaki-san," Yuri said, and I don't think he even recognized the fact that he'd slipped fluidly from English to Japanese.
Kim's face registered mild surprise. "Well... it's been a long time since I've heard anyone but my children speak to me in my first language. And you are...?"
"I'm Yuri," he said, blushing and suddenly looking shy and embarrassed. He slid closer to me on the bench and leaned against me. I put my arm around him and gave him a reassuring squeeze.
"Yuri's my husband," I clarified.
"Sorry," Yuri said meekly. "I should've said."
"It's okay," I said. "Don't worry."
Both elders were peering at us with a combination of curiosity and concern, and I couldn't help wondering what they were thinking. Kim's gaze seemed to drift to the half-empty bowl behind us on the table, and I wondered if she'd been able to see exactly what we'd been doing before they came over.
As it turned out, I didn't have to wait long to find out what was going through Robert's mind.
"Not to pry, but are you all right?" he asked. I'm sure he meant Yuri, but he was making eye contact with me.
"He's not feeling well today," I said.
"We're sorry to hear that," said Kim. "It's good that you're able to get outside, though. Fresh air and a change of scenery are important for the mental health, especially if you've been ill for a long time."
"How do you know—“ I started.
Almost at the same time, Yuri said, "Excuse me?"
It was Kim's turn to look embarrassed. "I really don't mean to overstep. I was a nurse for thirty-five years, and I spent over half my career as a clinical specialist. I've seen a lot of people with long-term and chronic illnesses. But, I realize it's none of my business. It's just that I notice things, and these days, my mouth sometimes gets ahead of my brain." She smiled sheepishly. "I'm going to blame old age."
"Perhaps we ought to change the subject," said Robert.
"Yes," his wife replied. "That might be best. My apologies."
"It's fine," I said. I glanced down at my husband. "Yuri?"
He nodded. "Yes, it's okay. You're right. I do have a chronic illness, but I'd rather not discuss it."
"Certainly," Kim said. "We can talk about something else. Where are you visiting from?"
"Mt. Komorebi,” he told her.
"Now, there's a coincidence," she said. "That's where I'm from, as it happens. I left when I was in my twenties, but I still have family that we visit every few years, and Robert and I are thinking of making a permanent move there as soon as we sell our house."
"How long have you lived in that house?" I asked.
"We bought it about five years ago.”
"If you moved here five years ago, that's why we didn't recognize each other ," I said. "I moved out around that time, and my cousin and I had a flat over by the college. Then I had a place in that big apartment complex across town. You know Sage Estates? I was there until I moved to Mt. Komorebi.”
“We know Sage Estates. Our son lives there."
"The house was supposed to be our retirement home," Robert explained. "We were going to live here with our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. But, we'd only been in the place for a year and a half before our daughter got offered an important job opportunity in San Myshuno that she couldn't pass up. Life in a big city isn't for us, so off they all went and left us here."
"Us and the cats," Kim amended.
"Yes, us and the cats, and the ghost."
I wasn't sure I'd heard him correctly. "The ghost?"
"A lovely Japanese lady. We think we may have accidentally brought her here from Mt. Komorebi in an antique vase," he said. "She likes to arrange flowers, so we try to cut some from the garden for her and set them in her vase as often as we can."
Despite myself, I found that I was starting to like these nosy, quirky old people. I said, "Are you going to leave her in the house for the new owners, or are you going to take her home?"
"That depends on what she wants, doesn't it?" he said. "She seems to like it here, but she only speaks Japanese, so she might not be happy to stay with the new owner if they can't communicate with her."
"You talk to her?"
"Yes. She doesn't understand me very well, unfortunately, but she talks up a storm with Kim."
"Maybe Yuri and I should try to speak to her," I suggested.
At that, Yuri gave me the look he always gives me when he thinks I'm talking nonsense. It was like, Please don't encourage them. Personally, I didn't see any harm. If they seriously thought there was a flower-arranging ghost lady in their house, who was I to argue?
"You're welcome to come over any time," Kim said. "We can't guarantee Sachiko will be around, though. She doesn't show herself every day. But, we can at least promise we'll chat with you, and offer you tea and a snack."
“And you’re welcome to use our pool,” Robert offered. “It’s heated. It’s very therapeutic.”
"Thanks. That sounds great," I said.
We chatted for a few more minutes before Kim and Robert decided they'd better get back to their landscaping project. We said goodbye and promised that we'd come over to see them in the next day or two.
For the rest of the day, I was kind of preoccupied with thoughts of the neighbours across the street and their allegedly haunted house. They seemed like intelligent, mentally sound people, and there was no hint of joking or irony when they mentioned their ghost. Clearly, they believed she was real. As for me, I couldn't decide if I believed in ghosts or not. Part of me wanted to, but another part was content to accept that existence ends when life does.
That night, as Yuri and I were getting ready for bed, I asked him what he thought about it, even though I knew what he'd likely say.
"Do you think she's real?" I said. "Sachiko, I mean. The ghost across the street."
"About as real as mermaids and vampires," Yuri said.
"Mermaids are real."
"I know what you think you saw on Sulani."
"I know you don't believe me about that," I said. "But, regardless of whether mermaids and vampires are real or not, ghosts still could be. They're humans, not mythical creatures."
"Once people pass away, that's it," he said. "They don't linger in suburban houses and make flower arrangements."
"So, do you think Robert and Kim are hallucinating or something, then? Or that they're just making it up?"
"What I think is, they might've lost somebody very important to them, and that it's comforting for them to imagine she's still with them in some way." Yuri gave me a soft, indulgent smile. "Maybe that's what you want to believe, too. That it's possible somehow for people you loved to still be with you."
I shook my head. "No, that's not it."
"If it helps you, it's okay to believe it,” he said. "I don't know what it's like to lose someone close to me, but I think any way that helps a person cope is fine, as long as it isn't harming anyone."
"I don't think believing in ghosts is a good way to cope," I said. "Not for me, anyway. I wouldn't want to think of Dad and Caroline as ghosts. That'd be horrible, hanging around forever and constantly reliving the memory of how they died." The idea of ghost baby Caroline being terrified and confused for eternity as she tried to make sense of her senseless death made me want to cry. "Something like that would definitely be harmful."
"I suppose so," Yuri said.
"I've probably got a lot of stuff in my head that I still haven't resolved about Dad and Caroline," I said. "You're not wrong about me wanting to believe they're still with me somehow too, but I feel like it's more emotional than supernatural or whatever. It's just... I don't know. I find the whole ghost thing fascinating and I want to see for myself if it's true or not."
Yuri was quiet for a few seconds, but finally he said, "We can go over there and visit, so you can see."
"Wouldn't that be weird, though?"
"Why would it? They did invite us after all, and they sounded sincere about it," he said. "I'd like to see the house too, although for different reasons than you."
"Really?" I said. "Why do you want to see it?"
"Didn't they say they're thinking of selling it?"
"Yeah, but..." I trailed off for a moment, unsure as to where the conversation might be going. "Why do you care if it's going to be for sale?"
"I was thinking," he said, but he didn't elaborate.
"About a house in Willow Creek?"
"It's just a crazy idea I suddenly had."
"What would we do with a house here, even if we could afford it? Our lives are in Mt. Komorebi."
"Are they?" he said. "I think I've seen enough since we've been here to know that most of your life isn't in Mt. Komorebi at all. I might be wrong, but my guess is, the only really important parts of your life in Mt. Komorebi are me and the mountain. Yukimatsu has to stay where it is, obviously, but I don't."
I frowned. "Are you saying you want to move?"
"No, not exactly," he said. "I'm not sure what I'm saying at this point, but I think we should think about our options, and talk it over when we're both ready."
"You think a possibly haunted house is an option?"
"It's not haunted," he said. "Although, if people believe it is, maybe that'll lower the property value and make it affordable."
"That's an angle probably no one thought of."
He looked amused. "Let's have a look at it and satisfy our curiosity, okay? It’s not even for sale yet anyway, and we're not in a position to decide anything right now, if it was."
"Okay," I said.
"In the meantime, the least we can do is be friendly. I don't think I made a very good first impression today. I'd like to redeem myself, if I can."
"I'm sure you can," I told him. "Let's see how you're feeling tomorrow, and maybe we can go over there."
So, that's exactly what we did. Yuri was feeling well enough to venture out on Wednesday afternoon, so we took some of the strawberry cupcakes I'd baked in the morning, and made our way across the street. Kim and Robert happily gave us a tour of the house, and then we all sat in the living room and enjoyed a snack and some good conversation.
There was no sign of Sachiko the ghost, but we did notice the smell of flowers in a couple of rooms where there weren't any plants at all. Robert said the scent was plum blossoms, and he told us that meant Sachiko was there, even if we couldn't see her. He showed us her vase, and explained how they'd bought it from an antiques dealer in Senbamachi district about four years ago. He said Sachiko had appeared not long after they got back to Willow Creek.
Yuri said he thought he knew the antique shop in question. Apparently, it's notorious for having purported occult objects for sale on a semi-regular basis, and is the subject of a sort of urban legend that says it's a hot spot for paranormal activity. Even I was reluctant to believe that last bit was true, but I'll admit the notion intrigued me.
"Maybe we should go there when we get home," I said.
"See if you can get Takahiro to go there with you," Yuri said. "His reaction will be worth it."
"Oh?"
"He never wanted to walk past there when we were younger. Seiji and I kept daring him to go in, but he never would."
"Have you been inside the shop?" Robert wanted to know.
"I have," Yuri said. 'It didn't seem all that unusual to me, other than some of the weird stuff the owner was selling. I saw a necklace that I thought my mother would like, but my friend Seiji talked me out of buying it for her because he thought it was cursed."
"We're definitely going there when we get back," I said. "Haunted vases and cursed jewelry? I need to check that out."
Yuri sighed. He didn't come right out and say I was trying his patience, but I got the sense that he wanted to. I gave up the subject of the supernatural after that, and our conversation moved along to other topics. We enjoyed the rest of our visit, and left with an open invitation to swim in the pool whenever we liked.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit disappointed about not being able to confirm the existence of the ghost, but I guess I shouldn't have expected to. We came back in the evening to use the pool, and we smelled the plum blossom scent again. Yuri said it was likely some late-blooming plant in the garden or maybe some sort of air freshener or cleaning product.
If it was a cleaning product, I wanted to know what it was so we could use it at home, because it smelled exactly like early spring in the Mt. Komorebi valley. It was sweet and soothing, and it made me feel calm and peaceful.
We didn't do much swimming. The pool water was indeed heated, and that, combined with the mysterious plum blossom aromatherapy, relaxed us to the point where we weren't much interested in exercise. Yuri took a nap on the pool float, and I just drifted around on my back, thinking about not much of anything.
We both had an excellent night's rest after that.
In other, completely unrelated news, we're heading to Granite Falls tomorrow afternoon. We'll be staying there tomorrow night and Saturday night, and then coming back to Willow Creek sometime on Sunday.
I was worried that Yuri wouldn't be up to it, but he says he's well enough to go. I can tell he isn't completely fine, but he's improved a lot since this past Sunday, so as long as he thinks he's going to be okay, I'm not about to question it. The fact that he's still interested at all is a surprise, I'm not questioning that, either.
I took him shopping for camping stuff today. He wasn't into the Canadian Tire aesthetic at first, but once he tried on a few plaid shirts and realized how cute he looked in them, I think his shopping spirit was revived.
He got a fleece-lined flannel jacket, a plaid flannel shirt, a quilted vest, and hiking boots, and of course he had to have accessories. In this case, his accessories of choice were two hats and a scarf. I convinced him to get thermal socks as well, despite his protests that they were ugly. Nobody was going to see them inside his boots, I reasoned, and he probably wouldn't want to sleep barefoot, especially considering that his feet are often cold at the best of times. He decided that the jeans and turtlenecks he already had with him would be sufficient, so I was spared having to answer the inevitable question as to whether or not he looked too skinny in any potential new pants.
Shopping for a sleeping bag was a bit more challenging. I wanted to make sure he got one that was both lightweight and rated for below-freezing temperatures, just in case we decided to camp on Yukimatsu at some future point. I also thought he should have one with a built-in pillow, like mine, since that'd eliminate the need to carry along an extra item. Yuri, however, was more concerned about the colour, and whether or not it'd look good in our tent. He opted for black because, apparently, it goes with everything.
We chose a proper hiking pack for him, in a shade of orange that made him happy because it reminded him of sunset, and that made me happy because of how visible it would be on a wooded trail. I liked it for the fact that it had an optional chest strap in addition to the shoulder straps, which would help balance the weight of it and make it easier and more comfortable for him to carry. He liked it because it had a ton of pockets to help him organize all his items.
Yeah, if it wasn't already obvious, we have different priorities.
I let him pick out a few odds and ends, like a flashlight, a small pocket knife, and an insulated drinking bottle for tea. Honestly, I had a hard time imagining Yuri doing anything with a pocket knife, but he seemed to think it was a vital piece of outdoorsy equipment to have, so I didn't protest.
The last things we bought were small waterproof bags for each of us to keep our phones, wallets and other important stuff in. I'd learned the value of waterproof bags from my friend Mitchell, who I'd met on Sulani. We might not need the bags during our weekend in Granite Falls, but I anticipated they might come in handy in Selvadorada.
Yuri could hardly wait to show off all his new things to my mom when she got home from work. He put on a mini fashion show for her, and she played into it by telling him how rugged and handsome he looked, and taking a bunch of pictures of him. He didn't seem to notice or care that she was treating him as if he was a little kid getting ready for his first outdoor adventure.
Sometimes Yuri is so adorable, I can't even handle it.
I'm glad he seems to have some genuine enthusiasm for camping now, because I spent a disproportionate amount of brain power in worrying that he was forcing himself to go despite how scared he was, just because he thought he should. I'm not under any illusions that he's suddenly lost all his anxiety and fear about spending a couple of days and nights in the forest, and I'm not deluding myself that it'll be an easy weekend for either of us, but I'm more confident than I was before.
I think we'll be able to have fun, and I'm looking forward to teaching him some of the wilderness skills I learned from Mom and Uncle Stephen, and from our Llama Scout leader when I was a kid. Leo said he's bringing his guitar, so maybe we'll even get to teach Yuri some of the camp songs we learned when we were in Llama Scouts. Almost every scout camp song is ridiculous, which automatically makes them the best.
Oh, and we even have a new ghost story to share around the campfire now. I'm already picturing Ellie's and Leo's reactions when we tell them about Sachiko.
We'll let you know how the camping trip goes. See you soon!

Regrets
Summary: A deeper look into Cassandra Cain's life after the Anti-Life virus struck the whole Universe and her interactions with her family.
(Alternatively: Cass gets the hugs she deserves in DCeased)
Note: The art I drew for this fic is here.
Read this on AO3
There was no time to lose.
There was still so much...life in this building. So much to protect. Cassandra is beyond glad they‘ve all decided to stay—these children...are not like her. Or Jason. Or even Gordon-
"Jim," he sighed, wistful and...sad. Eyes briefly lost in what was no doubt a shrapnel of memory that cuts and pricks deep into your chest, pushed aside to focus on the present—to survive—no matter how painful it digs into your soul. She understood. He glanced at her and smiled. "Jim’s fine, Cass. We’re all family, right?”
These children needed them, and...perhaps a part of her needed them too. They all needed each other now, one way or another.
Nights are...the worst.
Sleep has never come naturally for her, even before...everything. Before their whole world fell apart. She was not unfamiliar with loss, but this- there was no time to mourn or- or even breathe. No time to look back and realize just how much was taken from them.
Survive. Move forward. Survive, kill, survive. Keep each other safe.
Her mantra—the only thing that mattered now.
She did not allow herself to think of Barbara‘s kind eyes, or the last time she heard Dick laughing in the manor. She did not think of the fistbump she shared with Tim on their last patrol together.
She did not allow herself to think about Bruce, of the comforting weight on her shoulder after another successful night a few days ago. An easy night—quick and simple. So...different from the nights now that her chest ached and ached-
Nor did she allow herself to think about Stephanie, who wasn't even supposed to be in Gotham now. Her mother too...surely...?
(But Batman was supposed to be invincible, and yet, and yet—)
No. No time to look back. No time for hope or questions with no answers.
Nights are the worst.
Beyond the stillness of the night, beyond the quiet of the sleeping children...the monsters lurk and scream. She could hear them, clear as day—sleep did not come to them...so nor would she.
Instead, she sat in a corner—not too close that she could be spotted instantly, but close enough to aide should anything happen—silent and watchful over the children now in her care. It soothed her, seeing them so peaceful. Their innocence not yet fully stolen from them.
A night without one of them waking up from a nightmare was all that she asked for.
"Cass."
She did not turn to the voice. As she waited, her brother finally came to sit beside her, knees drawn up to his chest as if to mimic her.
On a better day, she would‘ve smiled at this.
She didn't smile.
"You really should rest," murmured Jason after a while. "I‘ll watch over them tonight. We need to be in tip top condition if we plan on protecting them."
Facing him, face impassive, she signed: You? Sleep?
A huff, eyes dim. "Touché."
They sat there, side by side, watching the faces of those more vulnerable than them for a long time, the noise from beyond the walls momentarily cut out as her focus zeroed in on the children.
"I buried them," said Jason suddenly, breaking the fragile peace. Cass does not stop, doesn‘t have to ask who he meant.
"I should‘ve told you sooner, but with everything going on..."
Words were never her allies, and they weren't one now. Cass swallowed the lump growing in her throat, along with whatever words she was about to say.
I know, she touched her cheeks twice instead, trusting in her brother to see it.
Jason definitely noticed, because the next moment he was slowly wrapping an arm around her shoulder, pulling her close. Like a puppet cut loose from its string, Cass melted into his side, finally allowing herself a small moment to just-
Mourn.
She and Jason were never as close as her and Tim, but they understood one another, possibly better than most in the family. They would spent rare moments reading together in the manor‘s library, comfortably co-existing. Now-
No more words were spent that night, the two of them silently supporting each other as they accept their new reality. She did not move to wipe the few drops of tears tracking down her cheeks, and Jason said nothing.
How cruel is it that the ones to survive are the people who had touched death before?
...Damian? Alfred? Her hand moved as she looked at him, mouth pressed in a thin line. The only ones left. And their youngest sibling. The expression that reflected back at her was just as grim, but the lines on his face were noticeably lighter, and Cass can tell from the loose grip on her shoulder—from the set of his jaw that it was not a bad news.
"Both are still alive in Metropolis last I checked yesterday," he said, fingers picking at a loose strand on his jacket—nervous, "and hopefully they’re with other heroes too. I...try not to check too often. Gotta save the energy of the car, y‘know?"
And I‘m scared to know, was unspoken, but she heard it. Saw the fear in his creases, the anxiety in his sunken eyes.
The regret.
Cassandra understood. There were regrets she would have to live with now too.
She nodded, looking back at the children again. A sense of tranquility finally settling in her chest, the anguish she felt not completely extinguished...but there was only so much she could bear at a time. These children are her priorities now, her new family, and...
Little brother, she tugged and signed at Jason before resting a hand on his back. "Keep you safe," she emphasized each words, tugging on his red hoodie—now splattered in different shades of red.
That...startled a laugh out of him. A small quirk of lips, but Cass saw it as what it is and beamed too, subdued as it was.
"I don‘t know about me being the younger brother," he chuckled softly, "but I'm glad I have a kick-ass sister like you. I have your back too, Cass. Always."
She would not lose any more of her family if she could help it. New or old.
Even if she had to sacrifice herself.
Her mother. She was-
Cassandra watched as the children exit the bus and can’t help the bittersweet smile tugging the edge of her lips.
She was a hero.
In the very end, she died a hero. Protecting the life of innocents and...her family.
Her heart felt too heavy to maintain it however, and after making sure all the surviving children are accounted for and comfortably settled in their new home, she wandered over to the newly chiseled statue the Green Guardian—Ivy had bestowed upon them as a token of respect. A gift.
She stood before the likeness of her mother, her last moments playing over her mind like a broken cassette.
Her eyes burned and she blinked, rapidly.
"Hey."
The white-haired lady. Moved with quiet grace almost as good as her. Almost.
She nodded back in lieu of a reply.
"Complicated parent issues?"
"...Yes."
A sigh. "Same."
They stood there, side by side, both lost in thought as they gazed upon the legacy their parents have left.
"Despite everything..." whispered Rose, "We still love and miss them, don‘t we?"
"She was...not a good mother," began Cass, trying to find the right words to describe the turmoil of emotions warring within her. "But she loved me. And I...loved her. In the end...that‘s all that matters."
A curt nod. "I get it. Really.
"I know loss is inevitable now," continued Rose, hand seemingly wanting to reach out before pulling back abruptly, "but...I‘m sorry you had to see that yourself. I‘m here if you want to uh- talk and all that. Or even just my company."
Cass was...touched. It was a sweet gesture, considering they haven‘t had much time to get to know each other before arriving here.
Smiling quietly at her, she pointed at herself and signed: Conversation. Not good. Rose‘ sign language skill isn‘t on par with hers or Jason, but it’s enough.
She smiled back, laughter in her voice: "So we won‘t have to speak. I can be a good listener when I need to be."
At that moment, Cass decided she liked this girl. Suddenly grateful to have her here—that her brother had her too.
It was probably that thought that prompted her to get her attention, her hands moving quickly: You. Jason. Happy?
Surprisingly, that brought on a small blush on Rose‘s already rosy cheeks, and Cass‘ smile widened.
"We- haven‘t made it official or anything but...yeah. Yeah, I think we are." Rubbing the back of her neck, bashful eyes cast downwards in a rare show of vulnerability, she reminded her so much of Stephanie that she had to bite down her lips to keep it from wobbling.
Instead she gave her the warmest grin she could muster, focusing on the person in front of her now. "Good," she said, before pulling her in for an earnest hug.
For a while Rose just stood there, letting Cass do all the work—but then she grasped her back just as tightly, finally realizing that the hug was for Cass herself as much as it is for her.
They both lost their parent, now truly orphans like everyone else, and Cassandra‘s...grateful she wasn‘t alone for this.
"I see you two are bonding already," came a familiar voice.
Lo and behold, Jason appeared from behind them with a smirk. He and Rose exchanged a look and before he even turned to her, Cass already knew what he was about to do.
She returned her brother‘s embrace, accepting it for what it was. I‘m sorry, his body screamed—sad, sad, sad. Sad for...her.
Standing toe to toe, he dwarfed her in comparison, and Cass was all of a sudden struck with the memory of the last time she hugged their father (Bruce, not Cain. Never Cain.) A sharp twinge of pain swiped at her chest, a simple wish that...she could‘ve hugged her mother too.
Physical affection did not come easy to Jason either, but Cass knew he was tired of regretting, tired of letting people go when everything you loved could be taken from you at any moment and...she felt the same.
Regrets seem to be the only constant in their life now.
After pulling away with a playful shove, she pointed at Jason then Rose, tapping her two 'K' hands together. Take care of her. She glared pointedly at Jason for a few seconds before her face broke into a smirk.
A cheer of laughter erupted from the three of them at Jason‘s indignant 'Of course!' sign.
It was definitely the highlight of her day.
---
Weeks later, when night fell and the world ran a little slower, Cassandra watched over them all as she always had.
Her small family is safe now—her brother and sister-in-law somewhere outside of prying eyes but still near enough for her to reach (Jason had reassured her himself). The marriage itself was nothing as fancy as the movies she watched with Tim and Steph had shown, but it was...festive. Magical. Beautiful. Ivy had gifted them with beautiful garlands and flower chains that grew from the earth, vibrant roses uncurling at every corner to celebrate their union—a symbol of hope that could flourish amidst the dreariness of their reality.
The sheer joy she felt and saw from the two newlyweds was enough to assuage her constant state of alertness. She kissed both of their cheeks and hugged them close, lips pulled wide on the happiest moment she had felt in a very long time, a comfortable warmth curling in her chest. Their happiness was infectious.
Yet now—
"You should rest, kid."
She wasn‘t the only one restless.
"...Jim. Rough...night?"
A puff of cigarette. "Something like that."
Silence reigned over the living garden, the stars above brighter than it had ever been.
"You were close with my daughter?" asked the Commissioner all of a sudden.
"...Yes." Her reply was careful—while time had done its magic, a balm to gaping wounds on the soul, their memories of Barbara were still fresh on both of their minds. It still...hurt, and no doubt even more so for him. "She was my...mentor. She was like...like a..." Mother, she did not say. Before Shiva, before Bruce truly stepped into his role as a father.
But Jim picked it up nonetheless, nodding to himself. "Good. That‘s- really good."
For once, she genuinely wondered what the aim of their conversation was.
"We might not be close, Cassandra," he watched the puff of smoke that formed around him, casual and honest, "but you‘re Batman‘s daughter, and my daughter...knowing her, she undoubtedly loved you too like one. So that's more than enough to make you family."
Nodding, already connecting those particular dots together, she tilted her head. And?
"And I would do anything to keep my family safe," he turned to her, pain in his eyes reflected in her own. "But you understand that more than anyone else, don‘t you?"
Cass looked away, his intention finally dawning upon her.
"I- don‘t want to lose them too," she whispered to no one, her fear carried over in the silence of the night, the huge vines and trees providing a shelter from the horrific wailing of the monsters lurking just outside the garden walls.
They‘re the only ones I have left, she did not say.
Instead of a reply, Jim squeezed her shoulder in solidarity.
Cass is eternally grateful he did not try to console her with empty words.
"SHAZAM!"
Electricity and raw, undiluted power surged through her, tingling in her veins with the telltale sign of ancient magic.
Fury. White, hot blistering fury.
She did not waste a blink at the corpse now lying beneath her, eyes already roaming to find Jason who- no.
No.
Rose knelt beside him, sobs rocking her frame, every inch of her body screaming pure sorrow and Cassandra reached out, denial on the tip of her tongue- before a hand stopped her.
Damian.
Now an adult, creases wrinkling his forehead so much like his father. He shook his head, still gripping her arm and unwilling to let go. Cass could push him away despite his strength, especially with her newfound powers, but—but she didn‘t.
Cassandra Cain, blood daughter of Lady Shiva and David Cain, adoptive daughter of the Batman, fell to her knees and hung her head in her palms, holding back the agony clawing at her inside out. Hollow, hollow, empty.
No.
She promised-
What good was all this power if she couldn‘t even save her own family?
No tears came forth despite the stabbing wound in her chest, an ugly rage building up in the back of her throat, threatening to lash out with the pulsing energy in her fingers.
"Cass," Damian‘s soft plea snapped her out of her haze of red and self-destruction, and she finally looked at him, truly looked at him—his locked jaws, the tremble masking his own shock and anger, and- she blinked, vision clearing. Stopped.
Nothing could bring him back. Not her anger, nor revenge.
She stood up to her full height, Damian on her elbow, and locked eyes with Constantine standing right across from them, hoping the daggers she sent him from her gaze alone is enough to convey the amount of hatred she felt at that moment and floated over to Rose, her cape billowing behind her.
Someone else needed her now—move now, mourn later. Rinse and repeat.
---
The last remnants of warmth lingered in Jason‘s crushed body as she gingerly carried him out of the pocket dimension, and Cass felt her resolve weakening for a brief second, her powers slipping and she- nearly dropped to the ground. No one noticed, everyone lost in their own thoughts at what had transpired in so little time.
Her grip tightened.
Flying over to an area she knew was designated for the ones who...passed, she laid him down as gently as she could, brushing away a strand of hair on his forehead with light fingers, despite how heavy it felt to lift them. Wiped away the blood on his face with care, her movements mechanical like the time she had to dress a corpse of a dead boy they had failed to save.
Then she waited.
And waited.
Jason wouldn‘t want to be by himself. All alone.
She sat there, waiting.
When Rose finally dropped noiselessly beside her, Cass stood up and walked away, giving them the privacy they deserved. Ignored the silent tears wrecking the younger woman, and the instinctive need to console and support her.
Let her grieve, she reminded herself.
Her youngest brother stood behind a large boulder just outside the area, gaze pointedly directed at the ground.
"Cassandra."
She stopped right by him, shoulder to shoulder, facing the opposite direction. Waited.
His fist clenched tightly, teeth scrapping harshly against each other- "If I had known this would happen, I would never have—"
Gloved fingers grasped his shoulder tightly, and his mouth clicked shut.
"Please. Do not blame yourself," she murmured, calm and quiet, so unlike the weight dragging her down to the earth, burying her under. The magic that coursed through the blood, singing and wild, untamed as the raging sea.
Her fingers trembled.
She did not cry.
"I wish...I wish I could have talked with him more before. Know this Jason better," spoke Damian again after a long pause. It was an admission, hushed, voice laced with a regret so potent, it was impossible to dismiss.
So much regrets. Always. Always, always.
Finally, he turned to her with his cowl taken off, the pain in his eyes open for the world to see, for her to see, and she-
"I‘m so sorry, Cass," he whispered, broken, "I‘m so sorry."
Maybe it was his understanding, the honesty a huge contrast from the young, haughty boy who would hide his emotions behind a wall of anger and righteousness all those years ago. Or maybe it was the way his hand hovered beside him, a language as natural to her as breathing itself. Whatever it was...it unraveled the last string keeping her together, and she—
Not again.
Somewhere between then and the ground, her mask had been pulled down, and Cassandra finally let the weight in her heart crush her soul to dust, Damian‘s arms somehow around her and holding her close. She buried her face in the crook of his neck, her tears creating a wet patch on his shoulder.
It was so tempting to call upon thunderstorms and lightning to put an end to all their suffering, an end to the anti-life once and for all—but she didn‘t. That was not their mission. Instead she let her eyes run dry, heaving quiet sobs into her brother.
The last two siblings held each other, grief and sorrow amplifying the desperation Cass felt growing within her.
It was a necessary sacrifice, she would know later.
But all she felt then was the despair of losing another family. The only one she had since their whole world turned upside down.
Damian was a solid weight that kept her grounded, and she was...thankful. Rose deserved to be supported now, rather than have another mess of emotions thrown onto her lap after all.
She felt her not-so-little brother bury himself into her shoulder and knew he needed this too.
It wasn't fair. It wasn’t fair.
...but nothing was.
Later, they would give Jason a proper burial. Later, they would be there carve the loving words of the life their brother had led. They would pay their respects, just as he did for their late father and brothers in the cave.
Later, they would continue to fight for humanity.
But for now-
"Damian," her voice cracked, too soft, too strained even for her ears. "I‘ll keep you safe. I promise."
A finality. An oath.
Not just to herself, but to Jason—whom she had failed. To their father, who entrusted the Bat mantle to the both of them, in his own ways. If it meant him surviving...
Damian froze and she knew what he wanted to say: Please don‘t make promises you can‘t keep.
But he didn‘t. Instead, he breathed out just as solemnly, the timbre of his voice octaves lower than it was a lifetime ago:
"...Right back at you, Cass."

On-screen, Off-screen
Pairing: Jun x Y/N
Summary: You’re given the once-in-a-lifetime opportuinity to act in a music video alongside your idol, Wen Junhui. But is he really as nice in real life as he is on screen?
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 (final)
Jun seemed determined not to bring up any indication that the morning’s events even took place. He continued acting like your costar/friend, making jokes with you but still going through the afternoon scenes with you. Meanwhile, it was torturing you. You didn’t know how to look at him without thinking of his lips on yours, as well as the caring, almost loving, look he gave you during his ‘confession’. But as all good things come to an end, tomorrow was the last day of filming and after that, you’ll never have to see Jun in real life again. Technically, this should work out in your favour, your one-sided feelings for him would turn back into just an infatuation, and you don’t have to worry about him breaking your heart by rejecting you.
You continued about your day mostly on autopilot, not wanting to let out too many emotions lest Jun finds out your true feelings towards him. He seemed to notice though, asking you if you were alright throughout the day.
“Jun, really I’m fine. Please just go do your own things, I’m sure you’re really busy. I’ll see you tomorrow, last day whoo!” Ugh, even you could tell your enthusiasm was fake as hell. Jun obviously didn’t seem convinced.
“Well okay, even though I really don’t believe you. But hey, if this was about this morning’s stuff. Sorry, I didn’t say anything about it but I thought it would lessen the awkwardness. But don’t take anything too seriously, it was all for show don’t worry. Forget it ever happened.” The more Jun talked, the more he was breaking your heart into millions of pieces. As much as you expected it, the outright rejection even before you confessed hurt so freaking much.
Struggling to hold back your tears, you gave a small smile nodded, and ran out the door, ignoring the calls of Jun from behind you.
-
You couldn’t help it, you decided to close off your emotions while going to work the next day. You didn’t want to admit it, but you spent a large majority of your evening the previous day crying your heart out. It was stupid, falling for someone you knew you would never have a chance with, but you let yourself have a night of self-pity and giving into your emotions.
However, Jun, being ever observant, noticed the drastic change in your behaviour. The two of you usually spent your breaks together, joking with the stylists or going through scenes, but when you tried to excuse yourself to go to your private dressing room for the third time today, he caught your arm at the last minute and pulled you back, frowning.
“Don’t even try to bullshit me anymore Y/N. I am really hurt you think I’m an idiot. What is going on? Why are you acting like this?” You pulled your arm away from his hand, ignoring the feeling you got while he was touching you. You gave a nervous laugh which you hope was convincing as your mind raced through different excuses to see which was the most believable.
“I’m not trying to test your stupidity, Jun. I really am okay, I guess I’m currently feeling a bit weird because you know, it’s our last day and since it’s my first ever acting role, I’m gonna miss it. Didn’t think I’d get attached this quickly but I did.” You sigh out, only half lying. You were gonna miss coming to set every day, and of course, working with everyone here.
Fortunately, Jun seemed to believe you. He smiles and pats your head as though you were a child. You inwardly cringed, nothing hurts more than your crush thinking of you as a little sister or something. But your director saved you from making any more (very awkward) conversation by calling the both of you to the next scene.
“And with that, thank you, everybody, it’s a wrap!” Everyone around you started cheering, some of the staff even brought out a small cake for Jun and you. You couldn’t help but shed a few tears, you couldn’t believe your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity was coming to an end. Jun noticed you crying and placed an arm around you, letting you hide your face in his chest. The staff all aww-ed at the sight of the both of you, and you continued hiding your face so that everyone couldn’t see your blushing face.
“Okay, let’s all head to eat dinner together, one last time, and here’s the best part: it’s on me!” Yelled the director and everyone began to celebrate. One by one they made their way out of the room, indistinct chatter getting louder. You called out just as the last few people were leaving, Jun included.
“Hey, not trying to be a party pooper but you guys go ahead. I had a bad night and I’m really tired. I’ll head home to catch up on sleep. Don’t worry I’ll meet you guys another time. Have fun!” You gave a small smile and gestured at them to leave. Jun looked like he was about to object and say something, but studied your face for a second then decided not to and left.
Once you no longer heard the sound of footsteps, you finally let out all the emotions which had been plaguing you for the entire day. This would be the last time you’ll ever be here, and you wanted to put aside your feelings together with the whole experience. Just give me this moment to be weak, I’ll never cry over him after.
“Y/N?” A voice cuts through your mini sobbing party. You panic, trying to wipe your tears dry and come up with a reasonable explanation as to why you were having a breakdown in the middle of the set. To your absolute horror, the voice belonged to Jun.
Unable to take it anymore, you started crying again. However, this time you were crying so hard it was really ugly sobs and heaving because you were losing the ability to breathe properly.
“Y/N please, don’t cry. What happened, I promise I’ll help you fix it. Everything would be okay. I know this feeling is sad, but I’m sure you’ll have more opportunities in the future, and it’s not like you can’t meet these people again. Please stop crying, it hurts me so much to see you like this.” Jun was hugging you, there was no denying the arms around your chest. He was running his hands up and down your back, trying to soothe you and you swear he just kissed your hair.
Instead of helping you, you broke down into even harder crying. How? How does he act so well? From his actions, you desperately want to think that Jun cares, but your brain tells you not to ignore reality. Jun really seems concerned now, and since you kind of want to remain friends with him, you try your best to calm yourself down.
“Uh. sorry about that. I’m sorry you had to see me like this. I thought you went for dinner?” You attempted to give a smile, but in all your tears, it was pathetic at best. Jun looked even more pained and hugged you tighter. Ignoring the ache in your heart, you continued. “You know me, just being all emotional. I mean you probably are used to it, but it’s all so new to me. And I may not get another opportunity like this. I don’t think I’m that lucky.”
“Y/N please, I know that isn’t the main reason as to why you’re crying as though someone broke your heart.” You grimaced, how could he guess so easily and see right through you? Jun immediately noted your reaction and continued, “So I’m correct, someone did break your heart. Who is it? Is it one of the people who worked with us? I swear I’ll kill him.”
“Stop it!” You scream, finally having enough. Jun looks shocked and takes a small step away from you, his arms leaving your shoulders where he was rubbing them comfortingly. “How cruel can you be? You’re an amazing actor I know, but isn’t it a bit too mean? To play with my feelings like this? If this is how you wanna treat me then I’d rather you treat me with that cold indifference you had on the first day we met. At least then I’d know my feeling for you are completely one-sided and stupid. At least let me move on alright since I won’t ever see you again.” Now it’s Jun’s turn to look confused. He takes another step towards you and uses his hand to lift your face which was looking at the floor.
“Wait, did you just confess to me? You like me too? I thought I was the crazy one for feeling that way for you, how could anyone like me after I treated them like shit, especially on the first day they meet their idol. I meant everything I said yesterday during filming. Seeing you run off to cry during the spinning affected me a lot more than I thought it would. So I decided to let down my barriers for once and help you out. From there, falling for you was so natural, but I felt like an idiot for saying not to get any ideas, so I tried to brush off my confession. I didn’t want you to feel burdened by my words and feelings, so I thought pretending nothing happened would be the best course of action. Apparently, I was very wrong though.” Towards the end of his speech, Jun’s smile slowly got bigger as he tugged you closer and closer towards him, his arms around your waist.
“So can we do this now for real?” He shyly asks before pecking you softly on your lips.
Your face turns crimson red and you hug him tighter, burying your face into his chest. Jun laughs adorably and the vibrations of his chest cause you to look back up at him. Then he scratches the back of his neck and Wen Junhui looks nervous?
“You know, the reason why I keep my life private, was because I didn’t want the media to find out all these embarrassing things about me. Like how I’ve never actually dated anyone before and therefore I am completely lost in the relationship department.” He grins sheepishly in the end, causing your entire heart to explode.
The both of you agree to take things slow, it’s not like you had that much experience either. For starters, you were gonna go for the team dinner tonight. As a couple. (In secret of course)
Jun stretches his arms out, indicating to the door. However, the moment you grabbed it, he pulls you back into the warmest hug ever. The both of you stay like that for a long time, enjoying how it felt to be in each other’s arms for real finally.
He then kisses you lightly, blushing hard. Before you could even react, he says “Race you!” and runs out of the door. Smiling, you started running to keep up with him.
-
It’s been a month since you got together, but today standing next to him your nerves were still spiraling out of control. Why? Because you were currently holding on to your boyfriend’s arm on the red carpet premiere of said boyfriend’s new movie. It was your first-ever red carpet event and furthermore, it was the first public appearance of both of you together. Sensing your nervousness, Jun placed his arms over yours and gave you a reassuring smile.
“Jun-ssi, can you tell us about the beautiful lady on your arm tonight? If I am not mistaken, she was your co-star from the recent MV you filmed?” Jun smiled at the interviewer, that charismatic smile that made you fall in love with him through a screen all those years ago. You still couldn’t believe the fact that you were looking at it in real life really. Jun looked at you again before answering, his eyes never leaving yours.
“Yes, this is Y/N, she’s so amazingly talented and I had no choice but to fall for her while I was filming. She makes me want to be a better person every day.”
Would the ground just swallow you up, you couldn’t handle what Jun was saying to millions of people worldwide. The interviewer actually looks surprised at his response, you’re sure he was expecting Jun to deflect the question as usual. He quickly regains his composure, and actually turns to you.
“Hi Miss Y/N, pleasure to meet you this evening, now I’m sure everyone is dying to know more about you. Would you like to say a few words?” After a reassuring squeeze from your boyfriend, you started out shakily before gaining more confidence.
“Uh, hi everyone, I’m Y/N. I just started acting with the MV I shot with Jun butttt, I do have a mini web series coming up next month on Viu and many more exciting projects lined up! Hope you’ll all anticipate them and also please support Jun’s new movie today!” You smiled at the end and bowed towards the camera.
Once you stood up again, Jun took you by surprise, kissing you sweetly at the side of your head and grins.
“That’s my girl.”
THE END

Reader finds out she`s pregnant with Arthur`s child
@jaraysha1121 requested this one! Thank you so much for the lovely request!!! I really, really, really hope you will like the result :)
Arthur humming quietly into your ear was the perfect way to wake up in the morning. Smelling his hair, that felt tickelish into your face while he kissed you awake was. You just wished that all of this, his bed hair in the morning, him humming oldies in the kitchen while making coffee, his skin on yours at night, would never come to end end.
You have been together for one year now but it felt like you had known him before the beginning of time. Having him in your arms felt like holding the entire universe in your hands. Like anything was possible and there was nothing that you weren`t able to face together. Arthur was your muse, your inspiration. Your proof that no matter how cruel life has been to you, there is still hope to stay gentle at heart and to end up being loved. It was just the same the other way around. You ended up being Arthurs salvation. His soul mate. Everything he ever hoped for and daydreamed about. You and him. It was just fate.
"Hey Y/N. I made you some tea. I hope you feel better this morning? I noticed you couldnt find sleep tonight?" He handed you the cup "Careful, its still very hot." You took a careful sip and put it back on the table. " Arthur crawled back on the couch with you, so you took him under the green blanket. He softly kissed your cheek.
"Um...yeah well I feel better now" you lied. You didnt wanted him to be worried about you, since Arthur worried about you a lot. Whenever he thought there was the slightest chance for you to get sick or cold or anthing that made you feel uncomforable. He would ask you every five minutes if you already felt better, which was beyond adorable, but still, you didnt wanted him to get worried, because after a while he tended to get nervous and anxious , and that wasnt good for his mental health and insomnia at all. So yo decited to try to hide it from him. But he just knew you so well.
"Are you sure, baby? You seem like there is something wrong? You didnt even ate your fave cookies yesterday. The plate is still full so... I got evidence!" He joked and pulled your nose. "No, I`m fine, Artie, really. I mean.I just woke up beside you. How on earth wouldnt I feel great?" You took another sip of tea.
"Yeah..." Arthur lit himself a cig and stared at the ceiling while his arm was wrapped around you "You know, I just wish we could do this more often. The sleepover. But its very diffucult to hide you from my mother. I dont know how she would react if she knew that a girl was sleeping in the living room."
You nodded. It was obvious that Arthur loved his mum but he was also afraid to get into a confrontation with her. He would only confront her with anything if there was absolutely no other way to handle it. So you sneaked into his apartment when Penny was already asleep.
"Sooo what if she just wakes up and walks through the living room? She will notice me for sure."
Arthur shook his head while he took a deep drag of his cig "She will not wake up".
"What do you mean?"
"She took some sleeping pills yesterday. Well... I made her do it but...anyway..." he stroke your hair "Dont worry abut that okay? She will still be asleep for the next few hours for sure. And even if she will wake up, she would be so confused, you could just hide under the blanket and she wouldnt notice anything."
"I see... you thought of anything didnt you? I wonder what she would sayif she knew there was a girl on the couch."
Arthur leaned in to kiss your ear "Just think of what she would do if she knew what I did with this girl last night...?!"
You smirked "Yeah that was definitely helping with feeling better."
"So what do you think she would do?"
"She would tell you you`re a naughty boy"
Arthur put the cig in his pink ashtray and kissed you passionately.
"Yeah...being naughty is fun isnt it?"
You nodded under the sweet pressure of his lips.
You tried to be as quiet as possible, even though he claimed that Penny wouldnt wake up. She was still in the back of your mind. There was something about the thought of being caught that you really liked.
Arthur checked the clock "Oh. I gotta go to work now. I`m pretty late. " He got up from the couch and grabbed his clown gear. You stood up to change your clothes as you realized how your head was spinning. Arthur didnt noticed. He was distracted by checking his bag. " We`ll see each other on Monday, right?"
"Yeah, sure. I will visit when you get home from work. "
Arthur grabbed the keys "Great. I cant wait to see you again, sweetheart. Any plans for today?"
You opened teh door "Yeah I will visit my best friend over the weekend. We`ll be watching movies and stuff."
You both headed down the hallway and got into the elevator "Sounds like fun" Arthur smiled at you with so much love in his eyes. His tiney wrinkles made you want to cover his beautiful face with kisses.
"What?" he asked as he noticed you staring.
"Nothing....its just...I love you so god damn much!"
Arthurs cheeks turned red "Dito!" he said, gently touching your cheek before you said goodbye. You watched him running towards the subway station. He was really late.
Being in the elevator a minute ago made your dizzyness even worse. You closed your eyes for a moment, wondering if you might catched the flu. You felt sick to the stomach for about three days now and it didnt seemed to get any better. Hopefully it wouldnt ruin the whole weekend. You knew that your best friend bought sweets and cake but you didnt felt like eating anything at all.
Thirty minutes later you arrived. Your best friend welcomed you with the warmest hug. She was the only one who accepted your love to Arthur. Most of your other friends thought he was weird for his laughter and for still living with his mother at the age of 35. You started to realize that some of those people didnt even deserved your friendship, especially they didnt deserved to get to know the wonderful man that Arthur was.
"Hey Y/N ! I`m glad you`re here. I`ve planned something for tonight. You will be excited to hear about it. How is Arthur doing?"
You got out of your jacket and sat down on the couch "He`s doing fine. Thank you for asking. He`s on some new meds and they are much better than the last ones he had."
"I`m happy to hear this. But you kno what his best medicine is? YOU. Imean it. He looks so much healthier since the two of you meet each other on a regular basis."
Hearing those words coming out of her mouth meants the world to you "Thank you so much. I appriciate that. The others dont understand...."
"Pffff" she headed to the kitchen and came back with a huge self made pizza "Dont listen to them. They are idiots. Every single one of them. Arthur is a nice guy and he is good for you. I can see the way you look at each other. There is so much love between you."
"Yeah. I really do love him. More than anything. I think he`s my soulmate."You smiled "I understand him. And he gets me. We get each other. We dont even have to say anything. Its just....we know. We`re the same. "
"Heyyyyy check this out" she put the huge pizza on the table in front of you "Its self made. i`m kinda proud. We will kill this delicios thing this evening. What do you think?"
Just looking at the food made you feel sick again "Um.....yeah thats....great. It looks delicious"
Your friend put her hand on your forehead "Y/N. You look kinda pale."
"Yeah...I dont feel so well....its been this way for half a week now. I can barely eat something and I feel dizzy at times and just....weird. Like...I dont know my body and mind feel funny and....I dont know....I havent slept for days..." you started crying.
"Ohhh noooo why are you crying? Is there anything going on with Arthur you wouldnt tell me?"
You wiped a tear away "No. No really. He is fine. I`m just very sensitive these days. I`m not sure why.... maybe it was all to much with the others not respecting Arthur as my boyfriend. ...I dont know....Just stressed out emotionally I think.. But I will be fine."
Your friend told you that you didnt have to eat anything if you dont feel like it, but two hours later you decited to give it a try and grabbed a piece of her selfmade pizza. After one slice you felt so bad you coudlnt hide it from your bestie anymore "Oh my god. I think I gotta go to the bathroom" you hurried up and closed the door behind you.
"Y/N? Are you okay in there?"
"Yeah....kinda....just...I`m just sick to the stomach. I think I catched the flu or something. maybe its better for me to go home. I dont want you to get infected."
Ten minutes later you got back into the living room again. She waited for you with a big grin on her face. Why would she make fun of you feeling sick?
"Feeling better?" the grin still lingering on your lips. It kinda hurt you to see her reaction.
"No. I think I`m gonna go home. I think I have to rest until I see Arthur again on Monday. I dont want to cancel our date. He is looking forward to it. I`m sorry thatI ruined our weekend before it even started...."
She giggled.
"Why are you laughing? Cant you see I`m feeling like shit?"
She pointed at the empty place beside her "Si down Y/N. And calm down for a second. I dont think that you`re ill at all. You feel sick to the stomach, dizzy and emotionally sensitive.....Think about what it might be."
"I dont know what you are talking about!" you yelled
"Oh I see, currently very emotional with your reactions."
"Yeah go ahead making fun of me" you replied with a dissappointed look on your face.
"Y/N. You and Arthur I mean....you want to stay together right?"
"Of course we do!"
"You love each other to death?"
"Yeah!"
She clapped her hands "So I think Monday will be even more special when he hears the news!"
"Which news?" you still didnt understood what she was all about.
"Y/N. My dear, you might be pregnant with Arthur`s child!"
The very second you heard her saying this your heart just stopped. You tried to think about the symptoms but all you could think about was Arthur and how he would react if this was really true. You rubbed your dimples, tried to remember how one of your friends felt like when she got pregnant. It really could be it.
"Oh my god..." you whispered.
"YES great news. I mean....if you really are this would be great news for you, right? Hopefully...I mean...did you talked about that? You and Arthur?"
Concentrating was hard "We did....I mean....a while ago he told me how much he loves kids and that he always wanted to have a family and .....I mean look at him when he is with kids. he would be a great dad. I know he would. "
"And how do YOU feel about it?" she asked.
"I...I`m not sure....I mean...I want to spent the rest of my life with him and...the thought of being a parent is stil kinda scare, isnt it? But...yeah I think I really want to have a kid with Arthur. He is the only man who ever made me feel this way. Its just overwhelming right now. The thought that it might happen NOW. But yeah...I would be happy about it for sure. " you started to cry. Your best friend hugged you tight "Shhhhhtt . Eighter way it will be good. What do you think about going to the pharmacy and get a test right now? So you dont have to ask yourself that question all day?"
You nodded. Knowing would help. You just had to know if your friend was right.
An hour later you couldnt stop your hands from shaking as you got back to your friends apartment. The pregnancy test in your hand felt surreal. You never did such a test before, so you sat down with her to read everything through.
"Are you ready?" she asked you.
You werent sure. How could anyone ever be ready for something like that? Deep down you knew that there was nothing to be afraid of. The more you thought about it, the more you wanted the test to turn out positive. You just felt deep in your heart that Arthur would be happy, too. There was only a slight chance that he would be too overwhelmed and scared. But then again, who wouldnt be?
"No. I`m not ready" you smiled while you said it out loud.
"But you are smiling! Thats a good thing. Take your time. We can do this tonight if you want."
You got up and headed to the bathroom "No. No. I really want to know now. So I will have more time to think about how I will tell Arthur on Monday."
"Ha! You`re already talking like you are pregnant. I like that" her face lighted up.
And you realized that this was true. Somehow you suddenly felt like you already knew. Like everything was coming together. You imagined Arthur holding your baby for the first time. Imagined his big puppy eyes while trying to make his kid laugh. You already felt the love he was radiating as a dad. Your eyes started watering when you closed the door behind you. You followed the discriptions of the test and waited.
It wasnt long but it felt like a lifetime.
So many scenarios went through your head. Any possible reaction from Arthur. You checked the watch. It was time to take a look at the result. Your heart was beating fast. You didnt even knew how much you wanted a kid with him until now. You hoped for the test to be positive. So much it would even hurt you if it was not the case. This morning you didnt even thought of being a parent and suddenly it was all you could think about. Arthur as a dad. Arthur as the father of your child. What a wonderful life it would be! Not easy, but wonderful and worth living for.
Your shaky hand grabbed the test with eyes closed. One deep breath in. And another.
Okay.
Now.
Now you will know.
Postive. The test was positive. Arthur and you would be parents soon!
You wished for him to be here with you right now. A brief moment you felt regret for not making the test when he was there with you but anyway, you would make sure to surprise him in the sweetest way!
"Ohhh my god, you were right!" you screamed as you got out of teh bathroom "You were right!!!!"
Your friend ran towards you and held you tight "I knew. I just knew. I am so happy for you. Are you happy? You are feeling good, right? Oh my god!"
"Yeah, I...I am happy. So much happier than I thought I would be. I cant wait to tell Arthur the day after tomorrow. God, I dont even know if I can wait until then. But I have to because....I want the surprise to be perfect. And I gotta figure out how I will tell him the news!"
"You`re going to be a great mum Y/N. I just know. And Arthur is going to be the funniest daddy ever!"
You sat down on teh couch, dizzy but happy at heart "Wow,thats just...a lot to think about!"
Your friend told you to rest and made you a cup of tea to calm your stomach. You realized that life would never be the same again after the kid would be born. But you wanted it. You wanted it all. With him. And him only.
It was so hard to no tell Arthur when he called you the next day. But you wanted to see his face when you told him. You wanted to feel his arms around you and this wasnt possible through the phone, so you waited for Monday evening.
You made sure that you arrived earlier than he would and put the pregnancy test into an envelope, so he would find it as soon as he checked the box for letters. He always did because his mum was waiting on a letter from Thomas Wayne for months now. Standing in the hallway was torture. You checked your watch at least twenty times until he finally arrived. Arthur was still wearing his clown make up. He carried his green wig and clown shoes in his big bag, looking tired. "Ohhhh honey. I`m so glad to be home. It was a long day at HaHas. There was a kids birthday. I danced for at least three hours. But it was worth it. You should have seen the little boys face! God. I love making kids happy.....Y/N? Are you okay?"
"Arthur!" you jumped into his arms and felt him with all your senses. "Yes I`m fine. Just so.....good to see you again and I missed you so much!"
A real smile was visible underneath his big, red fake smile "I`m happy to have you in my arms again, too. I missed you the moment you walked out of the elevator two days ago!"
Arhur grabbed his keys to open the letter box. That was the moment. In less than a minute he would know.
"A letter!" he mumbled "Maybe my mum finally gets what she was waiting for ." He checked the envelope. "Wait....It says For Arthur....there is no stamp and....this is...your handwriting...?" he looked at you. The confused frown on his face made you want to kiss him so bad.
"Open it, darlin. please!"
Arthurs fingers felt that there was something in it.
"Darling, its not even my birthday." he joked "Did you got me a present?" he reached for what was in there and pulled it out.
Arthurs face froze for a moment. No reaction. Just him staring at the test and the little note that said "Soon we`re going to be a family! "
For a second your heart seemed to stop. Why didnt he say anything? Why wasnt he even moving? Was it bad news for him?
The envelope fell down to his feet as he covered his face with his hands. He was crying.
"A-Arthur? Darling?" you took a step closer to him. And another. Until you were able to put your arm around him. His tiney body was shaking.
"Arthur....please say something.
Seeing him cry now was torture. You were looking forward to this moment until you saw the test result and now he was crying in silence. He didnt even looked at you. His beautiful hands just covered his face while he was sobbing like a little boy.
"Oh Arthur, I thought....I really thought this would make you happy, too?!"
Arthur uncovered his face. His puffy eyes glanced at you with love "Are you kidding me Y/N? Of course I am happy. I was never happier in my whole life! Oh my god. I am....I never felt this way before. We are going to be a family! This is all I ever wanted in life. Thank you for making my dream come true!" Arthur fell into your arms. His head resting on your shouders as tears of happiness ran down his face.
Now you started crying too.
"Oh god, I`m so glad. So reliefed. You`re going to be the best daddy ever. I love you so much, Artie! So incredibly much."
Arthur kissed you softly on the lips. Traces of his clown make up covered the corner of your mouth.
"You know what? Tomorrow I`m taking a day off and we`ll have a beautiful picnic in the park. Just the two of us. Out on a date to celebrate this! And when we`re back home, I´m going to tell my mum!"
You smiled "Your mum didnt even knew you had a girlfriend. She will be shocked."
"So what? Its our life! And our desicion. We will be looking for a new home anyway."
"Yeah" you wiped a curl out of his face.
"C`mon, honey, lets get in and relax for the night."
Arthur took you by the hand and soon you found yourself all cuddled up on the couch. Arthur on your side. Skin on skin. His breath behind your ear. His hand caressing your belly.
"So you think its going to be a boy or a girl?" he asked you while his fingers gently moved in circles. He lit some candles to make it even cozier for you.
"I dont know" you whispered "I would love a son who looks just like his father."
Arthurs hand on your tummy felt so calming. Like a charm that made your child feel loved.
"And I would love a daughter who is just as precious as her mother."
You smiled.
"I promise I will try my best to be a good dad. I will make our kid laugh as often as possible and teach him or her how to do magic tricks and I´ll dance to make the child feel better. I will try anything. to be.....good enough! I`m gonna take good care of our baby."
"I know you are going to be amazing. Who wouldnt love to have a funny clown as a father?"
Arthur leaned in to kiss you "I promise you, I will find a job as a stand up comedian so we can afford much more than now. I`m gonna make it work. "
"I know we will Arthur. The two....no. The three of us together."
Arthur pulled you even closer to his chest. The warmth of his body lulled you in as you drifted away into sleep. The last thing you`ve heard before your eyes closed was Arthur whispering "Sleep tight, little angel" while he placed his lips on your belly to kiss your child good night.

“This Town” Damianette Songfic
Waking up to kiss you and nobody’s there
Damian reached over to her side of the bed, only to feel nothing but the cold mattress. A pain struck him straight to his chest. He had forgotten once again.
Right.
He missed her. He just couldn’t help himself, even if it was his fault.
He was the one who let her go, he shouldn’t be reaching out for her, but he found himself doing things he shouldn’t be doing quite often ever since she left.
The smell of your perfume still stuck in the air
He groggily got up, having spent another night out drinking. The smell of her favourite perfume hit him, making him wince.
Oh God.
How he wished he could go back to when he’d smell it from the crook of her neck when he hugged her. He still remembered when she first bought it. He was with her, hell, he even picked it out.
It's hard
He got up from his bed with great difficulty. Ever since he let her go, Damian has been stuck in a depressed state. He had trouble doing the easiest of things. Eating, sleeping, laughing. He couldn’t bring himself to do them and if it wasn’t for his family, he wouldn’t.
Yesterday I thought I saw your shadow running round
He was completely off balance ever since he broke things off. He followed a strict schedule. He’d sleep in till the afternoon, wake up, train, go on patrol with his family, go drinking, come back in the early morning and sleep. Rinse and repeat every day since she left.
Yesterday was no different. He’d done the same thing as he did every night, but something was off, he felt in in his gut. As he was heading to the pub, he could’ve sworn that he saw her shadow swinging from the rooftops as she had done countless of times with him, but when he looked up he saw nothing. Not even his brothers that he knew followed him every night. Just the sight of that shadow made him drink even more the night before.
It's funny how things never change in this old town
Even before he knew her, Gotham had been infested by villains. There were so many there that they probably beat the number of rats that were hiding in the sewer system. Damian would actually compare them to those rodents but rats learn from their mistakes.
Now, this place is no different. Criminals practically on every street corner. The only difference is that he had changed and everyone knew it. Nobody, not even Bane, dared to approach him. No one wanted to go near the Ice Prince, not when he had just lost his Princess.
So far from the stars
He remembered when they would lie down on the rooftops and look up to the sky hoping to see the stars. They never did, there was to much light pollution, but they tried and they loved it more than anything. Those quiet moments together are some of the things he misses most.
And I want to tell you everything
God, how he wished he could talk to her. He wanted to tell her about the time Jason tripped over his own foot right before jumping from a rooftop or about the time Tim was complaining about being so tired even though he’s been drinking coffee only to realize that he bought decaf. He wanted to tell her how much he missed her and how he longed to have her in his arms. How he regretted letting her go.
The words I never got to say the first time around
During the entire three years and a half that they dated, Damian never said I love you. Not once. I admire you, sure, but never I love you. She knew it though. He went out of his way to make sure that she did, but he never said it and fucking hell, how he regretted it. He knew that she longed to hear him say those words, just like she did, but he never could. He didn’t try hard enough.
God, he remembers when she said it to him. He felt like he was on cloud nine for weeks after. He had just gotten back from patrol and she was sitting on his sofa, Titus’ head on her lap. Damian knew she was tired yet she stayed up to see him so, before coming back home, he had bought her her favourite cookie box. When he gave it to her while pressing a kiss to her forehead, she looked up at him with the warmest smile in the world and told him she loved him. It had surprised him, obviously, but after she said it, he couldn’t get his hands on her fast enough.
And I remember everything
He remembers that night just like he remembers everything about her: their first meeting, her favourite coffee shop, the time he asked her out, her favourite flower, their first date, her favourite restaurant, their first kiss, her favourite sweet, the time he realized he might love her, their first time.
Everything.
And it played on loop in his head like a broken record player.
From when we were the children playing in this fairground
Hours later, Damian wandered around aimlessly for a while before coming across a park. Once more, the longing he felt came back ten times stronger.
When they first met, they were both ten years old and in this very park. He had just gotten taken in by Bruce and was being forced to socialize and hang out with kids his age. She was on a trip with her parents and got lost. From the moment she bumped into him, they were practically attached to the hip, mostly by force. She forced him to take her email so that he could keep helping her, much to his annoyance. She messaged him so much that when she didn’t, he’d get worried. Slowly but surely, she had grown on him and he wasn’t planning on letting her leave.
But that was a long time ago.
Wish I was there with you now
He wished he could go back to when they first met and slap his younger self, telling him to stay attached to this girl and not be a brat. Telling him that she’s the best thing that ever happened to him and to savour every moment they have together before he ruins things.
If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you
He remembers her first televised charity event where she auctioned off some of her creations. He had grabbed her by the hand and taken her to the dance floor where he planned to ask her out. He twirled her and dipped her, making sure she laughed since he knew she was stressed about the event and hadn’t taken any time for herself. They’re dancing was caught on tape and the video was trending for a while, even more so when people found out they were dating.
Drive highways and byways to be there with you
Fuck it
He was so done with himself being the overprotective alpha when he knew fully well that she can take care of herself. Hell, she could take him, the entire Batfam and every criminal in Gotham with just a look. Imagine if she was trying.
His dumbass had decided that she was in to much danger with the League and the Joker constantly trying to get him, so he broke up with her. But now, he’s done with that stupid ass decision of his. So he hacked her phone and found out where she is, hopped into a car and drove off to her.
Over and over the only truth
He knew it now. He knew it more than anything. He loved her and he was going to tell her. He had to try to get her back, he wouldn’t forgive himself if he didn’t try.
He loved her.
Everything comes back to you
Everything he knew was connected to her. His entire life could be tied back to her. So when he drifted into a parking spot in a bar that he had gone with her after every exam they had, he had already planned what to say to her.
I saw that you moved on with someone new
As he walked in, he saw her. Well, he couldn’t miss her. She lit up every room and had a sort of aura around her that made people look at her. Also, she was dancing on a table.
He stood and watched her until her song ended before making a move towards her, but before he reached her, he saw someone else lend her a hand helping her get down.
In the pub that we met he's got his arms around you
They had come here countless of times together. This was their place. Damian was the one that broke things off, telling her to move on, but he couldn’t help but feel betrayed. Here was this random guy with dyed blue hair holding his princess in his arms in their pub.
Who does this guy think he is? Her boyfri- oh...
Damian stood there looking at them. He saw her laugh and smile as if he didn’t exist. As if they never happened. He knew that he broke things off months back, but it still hurt like hell watching her with this guy. How did she move on so fast while he was still stuck in a depressed state? Then again, she always was good at hiding her real feelings.
Please don't cry. Please don't cry. Please don't cry.
It's so hard
Please don't cry.
He couldn’t look at them anymore and stormed out. He got into his car as his eyes started to blur and drove off as fast as he could. Pain like nothing he’s felt before erupted through his chest.
Dying hurt less than this. Fuck.
So hard
Fucking hell. I'm crying.
He eventually had to pull over since he couldn’t see. His face was soaked with tears and he couldn’t see two feet in front of him. He went out and sat on the hood of his car trying to calm down, but every time he’d close his eyes, he saw her and that wretched blue haired boy.
And I want to tell you everything
He wanted to tell her that he had done a mistake by letting her go. That he finally realized how stupid he was. That she was right, like she always is, and that she can take care of herself. He wanted to tell her that they are a team and can help each other. He should, but he just couldn’t bring himself to do it at the moment.
The words I never got to say the first time around
He needed to tell her that he loves her more than he needed to breathe air and with the way he was hyperventilating, it really was a necessity.
And I remember everything
He missed her so much he could practically taste her cooking and smell her favourite candles aroma through the air. He knew his brain was playing tricks on him, but he let himself close his eyes and reminisce back to those moments.
From when we were the children playing in this fairground
He opened his eyes finally being able to see and looked around. On his right, he saw a deserted playground.
Obviously, it’s two in the fucking morning.
To his surprise, he actually saw two kids running around in the playground. The longer he stared the more he realized that they weren’t actually there. He was imagining it. He was able to see through them, but what unnerved him the most was that it was obviously his younger self with the love of his life.
Wish I was there with you now
He stared at the illusion for a while, letting himself remember how those moments felt. He remembered being happy, but he just couldn’t for the life of him remember how that felt now. But he sure as hell is going to get that back.
Right fucking now.
As if the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you
As he drove back to the pub, a plan formed in his head. He knew exactly what he had to do to get back in her good graces and he was going to make sure that he stays there.
Drive highways and byways to be there with you
He was most definitely speeding. If he were to race Flash right now, he wouldn’t win, that’s for sure, but he would surely give him a run for his money. He was easily going fifty over the already high limit of the highway and he was pretty sure that police were going to start coming after him soon. But he didn’t care. Correction, he couldn’t care. He was too preoccupied with his plan to worry about the police. Also he was driving a car that clearly belonged to his father, making it even less likely that the police would even bother to stop him.
Over and over the only truth
God, he loved her. He truly needed her in his life otherwise he’d be lost. He didn’t care how dependent that sounded because he knew that it was true.
She was his soulmate.
Everything comes back to you
As he drifted in a spot for the second time that night, he knew that he couldn’t walk out again without talking to her this time. His brothers would surely make fun of him for it.
You still make me nervous when you walk in the room
Damian stormed into the pub, more determined than he was for anything in his life. He spotted her once more. She was still standing next to the blue haired man. Just at the sight of him, he felt his heart clench. He wasn’t going to back down, even if she had someone new in her life. He had to tell her how he felt.
It’s now or never.
Them butterflies they come alive when I'm next to you
As he approached her, he felt butterflies in his stomach. Hell, he felt the whole damn zoo. God, he was nervous.
He gently tapped her shoulder and waited for her to turn towards him. At the sight of him, her eyes widened in shock.
“Can I please talk to you? Maybe somewhere more quiet?” he forced out.
She stared at him for what felt like an eternity before she nodded slowly and let him lead her outside.
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you
And I know that it's wrong
That I can't move on
But there's something about you
Okay, tell her now. You may not have another chance.
“Okay, I’m going to start from the main reason as to why I’m here. I love you. So much. So much so that I swear to god that I have trouble breathing when I think about the depth of my love for you. And, god, I was such an idiot for not telling you when you deserve to be with someone who would shout it from the rooftops.
I know that idiot could’ve been me, but that’s another reason as to why I’m here. I miss you. I miss having you in my arms and waking up to you next to me. I miss going out on missions and kicking ass together and telling you everything and just being with you. I miss you.
Look, I came here earlier and I saw you with that blue haired guy in there and how you were laughing the same way you used to laugh with me. Which makes me believe that you’ve probably moved on, but I need to tell you that I haven’t been able to even look at another woman. I can’t try to be with someone else when I had been with you. You are the one who I’d be willing to change everything for. You are the one. I don’t know how else to put it into words other than this. You’re my soulmate.
I didn’t come here expecting you to suddenly run back into my arms, but I just wanted to tell you.”
If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you
By the end of his monologue, they had attracted all the eyes of those in the pub and those in the parking lot. He hadn’t realized that he raised his voice. He felt them scrutinizing him but he couldn’t care less, not when she still hasn’t said something.
She just stood there looking at him silently, taking his words in. She approached him slowly still staring at him. As she cupped his face gently, she whispered to him:
“All I’ve ever wanted was for you to open up to me. I love you too, Damian.”
They both leaned forward, meeting halfway, which caused the cheers of those around them.
Damian had longed for this kiss for months and now that he finally had it, he wasn’t going to let it be short. He wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled against her lips.
Everything comes back to you
Everything comes back to you
He drove her back to his, no their house. As they crossed the threshold of the house he turned back to her and smiled. It was only as he kissed her for the second time that night did he realize that they have an audience.
His family stood in front of them all of them wearing smiles on their faces. Alfred spoke first, quickly followed by the cacophony of the rest of the bat-fam.
“Welcome back, Miss Dupain-Cheng. Should I prepare the ingredients for tomorrow morning’s breakfast? Will it be another Marinette special?”
So what do you think? I’ve been working on this since december and I’m finally happy enough with it.

♥It’s okay to not be okay ♥
♥ Hanji looking after you if you’re feeling low/depressed. No real warnings as such aside from this deals with depression. ♥
♔ I was going to write some head canons on how the vets would look after you/react if you were crying/feeling depressed and struggling. But then I wanted to write something proper about Hanji in particular. So I wrote this, it’s self-serving because it’s made me feel a lot better and the words Hanji says are words I needed to hear. I hope it can help others too. ♔
Hanji knocked on your door, it was softer than what you’d expected from them, usually so bubbly and full of life. The way they knocked however showed how observant they are, knowing you weren’t in the happiest of places right now they clearly didn’t want to bring too much energy or noise into your private space.
“Can I come in?”
Without thinking you nod, of course, Hanji can’t see you, “Yes that’s fine,” you reply.
Hanji opens the door slowly, the way they walk in is clear with caution.
Hanji leans against the wall, “How’re you feeling?”
Your body language tells Hanji everything they need to know, knees pulled into your chest, red eyes from crying, hair unbrushed, room messy.
You shrug and offer Hanji a weak smile, “A little better than yesterday I guess?” But Hanji knows you’re questioning the information you’re giving them.
There’s silence for a moment when Hanji moves and opens up your window, “There, a little fresh air never did anyone any harm. Besides there’s a lot of birds and bees out today.”
You stifle a giggle, Hanji looks at you and rolls eyes, arms folded but there’s a smile on their face, “Really?”
You giggle, “Sorry, immature I know.”
Hanji shakes their head, “No, it’s good to see you smile.”
You stretch your arms above your head and god does it feel better, it feels good to stretch, maybe it would feel good to take a walk too.
“I’ve been really worried about you…” Hanji trails off, afraid they might say something to upset you.
You place your feet on the floor and feel momentarily grounded, you know you can trust Hanji. There aren’t many you can but Hanji is good at listening, comforting, problem solving and keeping secrets. Perhaps to talk to someone wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
“Promise you won’t judge?” You don’t make eye contact, can’t make eye contact.
Hanji grabs a seat and sits on it the wrong way round, their chest pressed to the back of the chair, “As if you need to ask.”
You know this is true, you feel silly for asking.
Hanji reaches out for your hands but doesn’t take them until you acknowledge them and show you are happy for the human contact. When Hanji takes your hands in theirs and gently rubs them, massaging them almost and smiles at you, you know that’s the only answer you need.
“I’ve been feeling really…everything and nothing all at once,” you confess.
Hanji nods and doesn’t say a word.
“Some days I cry and I can’t stop crying and what’s worse is that I don’t know why. If someone had recently died, a family member perhaps or I’d broken up with someone I’d understand. But sometimes nothing had happened, nothing is wrong but I feel like my whole world is falling down around me you know?”
Hanji inhales sharply - something tells you they know what you mean.
“The crying and feeling so sad, so blue, so….so scared,” you choke back a sob. “That’s the worst you know? Others have it far off worse than me and I feel so guilty for feeling like this but it’s like there’s a huge black cloud that follows me or a monster, a titan, sat in the corner of the room. Even when I’m happy it’s still there, like an invisible thread that’s reeling me in… I’m afraid of feeling happy, I’m afraid nothing will ever feel the same again. I feel useless, childish…I wake up some mornings and cry because I’m still here. How awful is that? I have friends who have died beyond the walls and here I am praying I pass in my sleep,” you give a mirthless laugh and hold your hands up. “I feel like I’m a broken doll, who could possibly love someone so used and shattered."
Hanji takes a moment to mull over the words you’ve just said, continuing to hold your hands and softly hum. It’s incredibly soothing and relaxing, your eyes shut and you allow the moment of peace to wash over you.
After some consideration Hanji speaks, “There’s things you need to know okay? You’re feelings are valid no matter what you have or haven’t been through. Grief is not a competition. You are not alone even though you feel like it, there are others who will understand, who have been there okay? There’s no shame in feeling like this, trust me, I’ve had those mornings.”
You look up and search for lies but in their eyes there are none, wait, Hanji has felt like this to?
As if reading your mind Hanji speaks, “Mike’s been there, Moblit, even the Commander has his moments. Sometimes it’s okay to not be okay, it’s okay to feel blue, you don’t have to justify it to anyone and you certainly don’t need to be fixed. You’re human…being human hurts and it’s complex, the road ahead is un trodden… But that’s what sets us apart from the Titans.”
Hanji’s words wash over you like summer sun.
“Hanji…I’m gonna be okay aren’t I?”
There’s the warmest smile in your directed as Hanji squeezes your hands, “Yes, you are gonna be just fine. I am here for you, I will always be here for you okay?” Hanji cocks their head to the side and there are a thousand words you want to say to them.
Hanji lets go of your hands, “Come on, let’s get you up and out for a bit.”
You nod, determined to at least feel human, even if your mood only improves by a few percent, you know it’ll do good for you emotionally and mentally to get some exercise and have a change of scenery. But first, you awkwardly scratch at the back of your neck, “Hey Hanji do you think you can help me tidy up this place quickly? It sounds silly, but on my own it feels like I’m drowning in tidying, I just don’t know where to begin so I break down and give up but with you…” You know you need to shut up, Hanji understood you perfectly after the first few words.
So the two of you open the window wider, draw the curtains, put dirty laundry in a pile to be washed. You make your bed, tidy up books and notepads. Hanji waters your plants and dusts your desk and shelves. You have to admit once it’s done you already feel a lot better and don’t feel so afraid to come back on your own later.
“Now before we go out,” Hanji begins and picks up a hair brush from your dresser.
You look at yourself in the mirror, your hair hasn’t been brushed in days.
Without a word you sit on the chair Hanji had been sat at before and close your eyes as they hum gently again and slowly brush your hair, teasing out the knots and then styling it for you.
“There much better,” Hanji says as you stand, “Hug?” They ask and open their arms to you.
Wrapped in the warm and comforting embrace, head against Hanji’s chest so you can hear their heart beating you know you’ll be okay. And even if you’re not, even if it takes time, you know you’re not alone and that will get you through the long nights.

Black Bunny 2 // jjk
Pairing: Jungkook x reader, college AU, ft. Jihope, Taehyung
Genre: fluff, smut (18+)
Word count: 4,1k
Prequel / Can be read as a one-shot
Drabble (pure filth)
Summary: A few weeks after you’ve met Jungkook, you’re happily dating and like any other day, you go to his place. You end up in Jungkook’s clothes because of an accident with a can of beer and Jungkook can’t keep his eyes off of you.
Dating Jungkook was the best thing that has happened to you in ages. You ditched your friends most of the time during lunchbreak to eat together with your boyfriend, you were suddenly looking forward to that boring lecture that you first met him at and you became a regular at For:rest, the café he first took you to.
You would wait there for Jungkook to finish his classes to hang out with him in the evening and you slowly became closer to Jimin who spoiled you with sweet treats that were always on the house because, as he said himself, “My friend’s friend is my friend as well.”
You couldn’t deny that you liked being treated so well even though he was just kind to literally every living being on this planet.
One day, as you were reading a book for school while waiting for your boyfriend, Jimin came up to you, bringing with him another boy that you haven’t seen around yet. He was slightly taller than Jimin but was wearing the same barista uniform that consisted of a black turtleneck and a beige shirt over it.
“Y/n, I wanted to introduce Hoseok to you. He works here occasionally and he is also the one who couldn’t make it to work that time you were working on that project with Jungkook.” Said Jimin as he gave Hoseok a feigned annoyed look.
“Hi, y/n! My name’s Hoseok and, by the way, I’m this guy’s boyfriend. Sorry about that one time, our team called for a sudden practice and I couldn’t afford to miss it.” He said apologetically.
You put down the book you’ve been reading and smiled at them. “Nice to meet you! You really don’t have to apologize for that. Let him live Jimin!” you said playfully. “I should actually be thanking you.”
Both guys looked at you with confusion in their eyes.
“You know, thanks to that we started dating.” Their confused eyes opened even more as they stood there silently for a while.
“You guys are together? Like for real?” Jimin almost shouted.
You didn’t understand why he was so surprised. It’s true that neither you or Jungkook told him explicitly that you started dating but you thought it was obvious. You were always waiting for Jungkook in the café and he saw you two together many times.
“I thought you knew, we weren’t exactly hiding it. Is it that weird…?” You started feeling self-conscious and nervous in front of the two baristas. Your question was followed by a reaction you weren’t expecting though.
“Yah, Jimin, our Jungkookie really is something else.” Hoseok said loudly as his face lit up with a radiant smile. “He always talked about this girl that he liked but didn’t know how to approach and just when we thought you two finally became friends you’re already dating?”
“It happened somehow… hehe” you said as a coy smile lit up your face.
“Here comes the man himself!” Jimin pointed at Jungkook who was just about to enter the coffee shop.
“I better go then! See you guys a next time!” you said as you quickly got up and ran to Jungkook, still a little shy about meeting the two baristas.
“Oh, hello sunshine, I missed you.” Jungkook said as soon as he saw you coming up to him. “Hi, Hoseok, long time no see!”
“Long time no see! You look great Jungkook. I mean, you two together.” Hoseok said in a teasing manner as he pulled Jimin closer.
“You could have at least said something. I look like the worst not caring friend right now.” Jimin added frowning.
You looked at Jungkook who looked like a deer caught in headlights but he soon smirked and grabbed your hand, intertwining your fingers and holding your two linked hands up as if to show you off. “Well, I thought it was pretty obvious. We’ll get going then. See you around!”
Jungkook then turned around with you and you walked out of the café, both of your heartbeats slightly faster than usual.
“What was that about? Is it that weird that we are dating?” You asked Jungkook, walking next to him while still holding hands.
“No, it’s not weird in the least. It’s just that… For the longest time I’ve been only talking about you and they probably had no idea we clicked so well, and so fast.”
“Hmm, we did click pretty fast, didn’t we Jungkookie.”
Jungkook nodded but then paused and looked at you in disbelief for a second. “What’s up with that nickname?”
“Jungkookie, Jungkookie~ It’s so cute.” you hummed, swinging your interlocked arms. “Hoseok was calling you that, you don’t like it?”
“I told him not to call me that so many times, sigh. It’s so childish.”
“I like it though. Jungkookie~ a perfect nickname for my bunny.”
Jungkook sighed one more time but smiled because, he had to admit, he found it cute when it was you calling him that. He was already used to being called a bunny by now so one more nickname couldn’t hurt. You had explained to him many times that he looks and sometimes even acts like a bunny that he came to accept it and was sometimes making fun of himself, one time even carrying a bag of carrots to class, just to make you laugh and maybe snack on a few of them.
“What nickname should I give you, y/n?” He asked you, teasing.
“I am ready to accept any nickname you give me.” You said jokingly.
“I’ll have to think about it well then.” Jungkook replied and pretended to be in deep thought about what to call you from now on.
When you got to Jungkook’s place, his roommate Taehyung was just about to leave. You got used to him because you spent way too much time at their place, and even though you never exchanged many words, you had a feeling he’s a really chill and nice person.
“Oh, hey! I’m going to my friend’s and I’m most likely going to come back really late. We agreed to do a movie marathon, you know.” Taehyung said, shooting you both a smile.
“On a Tuesday?” You asked and you looked at Jungkook who didn’t seem to be fazed at all.
“He’s unpredictable, you never know with him.” Jungkook said, grinning at you.
“Have fun you guys! I’m off.” Taehyung announced as he strolled out of the door. He was truly a character that you’ve never met before and you were fascinated by his mind every time.
With Taehyung leaving, you were suddenly left alone with your boyfriend, and going to his bedroom, like you would usually do when Taehyung was there, suddenly seemed more intimate. Anyways, you left your shoes and your bag at the door and walked straight up to the fridge. “Do you want a beer?” You asked Jungkook who looked at you, an amused look on his face.
“Are you offering me beer from my own fridge right now?” He laughed and hugged you from the back, wrapping his hands around your waist. “When did you get so comfortable around here? It feels like yesterday when you were sitting on that sofa over there, shy about touching my hand.”
“Oh come on, don’t bring that up, I was super nervous because I was in an unfamiliar house for the first time.” You lied a little about the reason of your previous nervousness as you grabbed two cans of beer and closed the fridge, taking Jungkook’s lack of reply to your previous question as a yes.
“Oh yeah? Was it really because of the new environment that you were nervous?” He teased you more and grabbed one of the cans you took out of the fridge.
“Jungkook, don’t make me say it again. You’re such a tease.” You were getting self-conscious just thinking about the first time you came here but then you looked at Jungkook who took a few sips of his beer and your thoughts immediately shifted, your mind focusing solely on your boyfriend’s neck as he was gulping the liquid. He looked so effortlessly good in his oversized hoodie, which was of course no other color than black.
You tried to get distracted from these thoughts by opening your can of beer but as you did, the beer spilled all over your shirt, droplets trickling down onto your pants as well. It did take your thoughts off Jungkook but it created another situation to worry about. The white wet shirt you were wearing didn’t leave much to imagination and you could see Jungkook almost spitting some of his drink as he tried to hold back laughter. You were mortified and wanted to disappear right this moment because Jungkook wasn’t going to let you live this down. However he acted differently than you had expected. He went to his room to get you a change of clothes and a towel.
“You’re such a klutz, y/n.” he said with the warmest smile as he passed you the stuff he brought. “Here, go wash up, otherwise you’re going to smell like beer for who knows how long.”
You didn’t even have time to protest and you already found yourself being guided to his bathroom with his huge black t-shirt, even bigger sweatpants and a towel in your hands. Did he really expect the clothes to fit you in any way? But you didn’t exactly have any other choice than to take a shower now so you did and prayed that the clothes will serve their purpose.
When you came out of the bathroom, Jungkook was looking at his phone, his long hair in his face, while some sitcom played in the TV, serving only as a background noise. When he noticed you were done washing up, he lifted his eyes from his phone and silently looked at you for a while. You could kind of guess why.
The sweatpants he gave you wouldn’t stay above your waist no matter how hard you tried to convince them so you just gave up and came out wearing only the t-shirt which served you as, a very short one, but a dress.
“The pants are way too big for me… do you have anything smaller maybe?” You broke the silence as you walked towards the sofa he was sitting on. Jungkook still hasn’t said a thing but he did put down his phone. The only thing he could see was you, wearing his t-shirt and nothing else.
You felt his stare but still decided to come sit down next to him, covering your legs with his sweatpants that you were still holding onto to make you less exposed.
“You can’t do that, y/n…” Jungkook said, now looking at the TV.
“You are the one who gave me this to wear!” You said in your defense. “Did you actually expect it to fit me?”
Jungkook covered his face with his hands and then ran his fingers through his hair, turning his attention to you once more.
“That’s not fair. This t-shirt looks so much better on you than on me. But now I also want to take it off.” He said as his voice suddenly turned deeper. You couldn’t help but feel flustered by his comment. Jungkook was usually the sweetest guy you’ve ever known but sometimes a switch would turn on and he was a different person, just like now. The usually cute bunny was now oozing with self-confidence and the way he lifted up one of his eyebrows was the most cocky yet attractive thing ever.
“Should I help you or will you do me the favor of taking it off yourself, y/n?”
You didn’t plan on anything like this happening today but you could already feel yourself get aroused just from his tone and the way he was eating you up with his eyes. Him behaving this way had a huge effect on you but you never wanted to admit that or you’d never get your cute boyfriend to return.
Jungkook suddenly shifted from his position and sat down next to you in a way he was trapping you in your seat with his arms and body. You could feel his breath on your ear and neck as he said very softly “I think you need my help, don’t you?” Then he proceeded to lightly nib on your ear and placed a thousand soft kisses on your neck.
You held your breath as a shiver ran down your body and you could only nod to what he just said to you.
“Don’t you?” he repeated, this time more stern.
“I- I do.” You got yourself to reply. He liked when you said what you wanted out loud, and you still felt embarrassed every time. No one else you’ve been with was this stern about you voicing your needs.
Jungkook then lifted the t-shirt you’ve put on only a while ago and slipped it off you as you lifted your hands. He also discarded the sweatpants you haven’t used from your lap and kneeled in front of you, adoring every part of your body.
“You’re so beautiful.” That comment made you blush even though he’s already told you times before.
Jungkook then started placing kisses up your thighs and his hands reached for your waist, moving up to unhook your bra. You didn’t even think of protesting but still felt exposed compared to his fully clothed body. He could sense it from the way your eyes looked down and tried to reassure you. “Look at me, y/n.”
You lifted your gaze to look him in the eyes. How is this man real? You asked yourself. His face was the cutest but he still managed to exude this charisma that put you under his spell.
“You mean the world to me and I want to make you feel good. Is that okay with you?” he asked with the sweetest tone.
The moment you said yes, this switch in him turned on again and his eyes darkened as he grabbed your hips, moving you closer to him, and pulled down the last piece of fabric covering you.
Without any hesitating, he placed his lips on the spot you most needed him. You couldn’t wrap your head around how he was so good at everything including making you feel good. And the word ‘good’ was an understatement. His lips on you felt like heaven and it made you arch your back with a quiet moan.
“Jungkook…” you moaned his name and felt him smirk against your heat. He knew very well what he was doing and how strong of an effect he had on you. It was pretty much obvious from how wet you were and from your now more frequent and needy sounding moans.
You felt like exploding and one of your hands intertwined in his hair while you grabbed at one of your boobs with the other one. You felt your orgasm approach at the speed of light and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Jungkook inserted his index finger into you and teased all the right spots inside you which soon sent you over the edge.
You felt amazing and the sight of Jungkook in between your legs made your mouth water. His hair was all messed up by you and he was licking his lips, savoring your taste. You were still recovering from your high but you reached for him and kissed him fervorously, Jungkook soon reciprocating the kiss, invading your mouth with his tongue and your own taste.
“How do you manage to make me feel this good every time? I swear you’re magical.” You said after you broke the kiss, trying to catch your breath.
“If I’m a magical bunny, you must be a magician who pulled me out of your hat.” There he was again, using his nickname to tease you.
“Abracadabra, remove your hoodie!” you said laughing. His jokes never failed to make you laugh, even in a situation like this. He managed to make you feel safe without even trying.
You cast your spell as a half joke but Jungkook took off his hoodie with such speed that it really looked like a magic trick. He removed his t-shirt along with it and was now left with his bare chest in front of you.
The question of how a man can be so perfect popped up again in your head. His body was muscular but still looked and was so huggable. As your eyes were scanning his body, your sight traced his abs and looking a bit lower, you could see his growing bulge in his tight black jeans. Your mouth watered without you even realizing it and Jungkook noticed what you were so intently looking at.
His smirk that appeared on his face made him somehow even more attractive in that moment and you motioned for him to come closer. He embraced you, kissing you on the forehead and the next moment you were being carried princess style from the sofa into his bedroom.
“I want to make you feel good too, Jungkookie…” you said softly to his ear as he carried you.
You could see how your words affected him by the way he tightened his grip on you. “You’ll have the chance in a bit, princess.” He replied, not even complaining about the nickname.
You plopped onto the bed and started fiddling with Jungkook’s pants to free his hardened member. He helped you, pulling his jeans and then his boxers down his legs, discarding it on the floor. You looked at his dark doe eyes as you started stroking his length with your hands.
“Fuck, don’t tease me like that.” Jungkook said as he threw back his head.
You liked being the one in control for now so you only slowly increased your tempo. When you felt like you’ve made him desperate enough, you carefully licked his length from the root up, then taking it into your mouth, slowly bobbing your head.
“Y/n… ah, your mouth feels so good.” He boosted your ego and you tried to give him more pleasure by taking him a bit further into your mouth and throat, making you gag.
Never had you imagined you would enjoy giving head to a guy before but after making love with Jungkook, your outlook on oral sex has changed completely. You loved the way you could control his pleasure and how he softly pulled on your hair when he couldn’t take it anymore.
He did just that after a shorter time than usual, making you halt your movement and look at him, mouth full of his precum.
“God, you look so good like this, being so dirty for me.”
His dirty talk always contained at least a bit of that sweet nature of his, most apparent in the silky tone he used.
“You’re way too good at this and I don’t want to cum just yet, baby.”
There it was, the nickname he only used when he was really desperate and horny.
“I still have to fuck your pretty pussy.” You blushed at that and then you were being pushed down onto the mattress, his body pinning you down and his dripping member pressing into your lower abdomen. His mouth was all over you, kissing from your neck, to your collarbones, to your belly, all while teasing your nipples with his fingers.
You thought you were going to go crazy from how bad you wanted him because he was making you feel so good already with just his hands and mouth. “Jungkook, I really need you.” It sounded more like a moan than a sentence.
“You need me? To do what, baby?” he teased almost purring, enjoying how he made you squirm below him.
You just gave in, being too needy. “I need you to fill me up with your cock.”
Jungkook kissed you and then lined up his length to your entrance as he stared into your eyes. As he slowly pushed in, your eyes watered a little because of the stretch but you soon got used to it and all the unpleasant feelings turned into immense pleasure as he pumped into you slowly.
Honestly, even his cock was perfect. Not too small but not too big, just the right size and girth that you absolutely loved.
As he saw that you got used to the stretch, he sped up his thrusts, hitting all the right spots, making your head spin and moan uncontrollably.
“Fuck, Jungkook” you moaned his name as he thrust into you, exactly knowing the one sweet spot that made you lose your mind.
“You feel so good around me, baby.” He purred, a layer of sweat forming on his forehead, making his hair stick to his face. You cupped his cheeks and followed to place a sloppy kiss on his lips. That made him slow down a little and he hooked one of your legs above his arm. The change of angle made you almost scream out of pleasure and he resumed his pace at which he was thrusting into you just a moment ago.
“Are you close, baby? You’re driving me crazy, I don’t think I’ll be able to hold on much longer.” Jungkook said, pausing between words as he pounded into you.
“If you talk to me like that, I’ll come even faster.” You wanted to be the one to tease him this time.
“My baby wants me to talk dirty? Do you like that, huh?” he smirked.
Fuck, it really had you coming closer to your high. Never had you imagined you’d be into dirty talk so much, but here you were, a panting mess getting off on it.
“Look me in the eyes, baby.” Jungkook ordered. You complied, looking right into his hooded eyes. “I asked if my baby liked dirty talk.”
His tone, the nickname, and his panting voice were driving you crazy. “I do. Yes, I do!” you replied moaning.
“Fuck…” he grunted to himself. “Then be a good girl and come for me, baby.”
His words really helped sending you over the edge and you found yourself tightening your walls around Jungkook. You let out a long moan and let Jungkook ride out his orgasm as he came right after you and then collapsed down next to you.
You were two panting messes, laying on the bed with your limbs intertwined.
“That was so hot.” Jungkook announced, slowly coming back from his high. “I didn’t know you would like me talking to you that way.”
You smiled, still catching your breath. “Me neither. I don’t think it’s the words itself that I like though.” Jungkook had a confused look on his face now. “I like it because it’s you talking like that.” You confessed.
“Come here.” He said as he extended one of his arms as a sign. You turned to face him, his arm wrapping around your body. “You’re so cute.”
“You said I was hot just a minute ago.” You scoffed, punching him lightly.
“That’s what’s driving me crazy, y/n. You’re both and I don’t know which one of you I prefer.”
“It’s pretty clear to me. You prefer me.” You grinned.
“You’re impossible.” Jungkook said laughing, showing you his bunny teeth.
The thought of him also switching between cute and hot in seconds crossed your mind but you decided to keep it to yourself, at least for now. You liked both of his sides equally, making it impossible to choose. As a summary of these thoughts of yours your brain decided to say “I like Jungkook.”
You wanted to facepalm yourself but considering the fact you were in Jungkook’s embrace, it was impossible for you to move.
“I like y/n.” Jungkook repeated, grinning at you. “I really like her, this girl y/n.” His teasing had no end. “I’ve liked her for a long time now.”
“Jungkook!”
“What? I’m stating facts.”
He was way too cute for his own good.
“I really like you Jungkook. I mean it.” You curled into his chest, hiding the blush that spread on your cheeks.
“Me too. A whole lot.” Jungkook said as he patted your head. “But we should take a shower.”
“Ugh.” You didn’t want to let go of his warm embrace but you were also annoyed at him breaking this cute moment. “Well, I already know your bathroom… Don’t tell me this was your plan all along?” You lifted your head to look at him with lifted eyebrows.
“How could I possibly plan only your beer exploding? You were just unlucky this time.”
“Hmm, was I really? How can you prove your innocence?” You then got up and ran to the bathroom, grabbing the black t-shirt you were given before on your way.
Jungkook was dumbfounded by your sudden outburst of energy but loved every moment of it.
“Wait for me, let’s shower together!” He shouted at you, but you were already in the shower. He got up to join you but remembered to bring you some smaller bottoms to change into, or he wouldn’t be able to even look at you.
“Y/n in my clothes is way too sexy.” He mumbled to himself as he went to join you in the bathroom.
A/N: It somehow turned from fluff into filth and then back into cheesy fluff. I think it’s the fault of Jungkook’s duality. I hope you enjoyed this sequel and I always appreciate feedback!

When Calum woke up the following morning, it took his brain a split second to register that Parker laying in his bed was real and not just a fever dream. His mind played through the events of the night before, his body tingling from all the places Parker had left her mark on him. They hadn’t gone to sleep until past four in the morning, so he wasn’t surprised to read 11:47 on the clock on his bedside table. Calum absently dragged his finger back and forth over Parker’s upper arm, watching goosebumps rise in its wake.
She stirred, blinking her eyes and lifting her head to stare up at him. He smiled down at her. “Mornin’ angel,” he rasped.
“Still the King of waking me up before I’m ready, I see,” she mumbled, smiling sleepily.
“Couldn’t help myself,” he shrugged. “I’ve missed you.”
Parker answered his confession with a press of her lips against his. “Any big plans today?” she asked him.
“Lunch plans with Gram, but other than that, I’m all yours,” he answered. “You can come if you like,” he suggested. “It’s been a while.”
• • • • • •
After a shower and a quick stop at Parker’s to change her clothes, Calum pulled the Charger into Gram’s driveway, cutting the engine.
Parker pushed down the uneasy feeling in her stomach. I’m nervous. Should I be nervous? She asked herself. She wasn’t sure why she felt nervous – the break-up was Calum’s idea, but still she felt weird about showing up uninvited at Grace’s house after sleeping in her grandson’s bed only a few hours after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend. She followed Calum up the steps, standing one step behind him as he knocked twice and pushed the door open.
“Gram?” he called out, shucking off his boots and ushering Parker inside.
“In the kitchen, dear!”
Calum grinned at Parker, guiding her through the kitchen door in front of him. “I found a stray.”
Gram turned around, gasping when she recognized Parker. Her face split into the warmest smile and she rushed over. Parker was surprised at the old woman’s strength, she was hugging her so tightly. “Parker, it’s so good to see you!”
All of Parker’s nerves melted away as she relaxed in Grace’s grip, hugging her back. “I missed you, Grace.”
Grace and Parker chatted over lunch, leaving very little room in the conversation for Calum to join in, which suited him fine – he was just happy to have the two loves of his life in the same room again.
“Calum, dear, I think the tap in my bathroom is leaking again. Could you take a look at it for me?” Gram asked Calum sweetly.
“Sure thing, pretty lady,” he replied as he disappeared into the garage to get some tools.
As soon as he was out of the room, Grace took Parker’s hand. “I can’t tell you how happy it makes me that you two worked things out,” she beamed.
“We haven’t really talked about it yet," Parker started. “We only talked a little bit yesterday, and it was mostly just catching up,” she admitted.
“There’s lots to catch up on, I’m sure,” Grace winked, and Parker laughed. “But I know you two. There’s nothing in this world that could keep you apart. That boy loves you more than the sun and the stars, and he is never going to let you go.”
“I don’t know, Grace. He was so willing to give up last time. What happens next time when things get hard, and he tries to run away again?” It was a thought that had plagued Parker’s mind since her reunion with Calum, despite his efforts to reassure her that he was wrong and he wouldn’t make the same mistake again. She wanted to believe him, but he had hurt her and she didn’t want to go through that again.
Grace wore a sympathetic smile. “I know it must feel scary to let him in again, after what he did,” she squeezed Parker’s hand. “But let me tell you something about Calum. He has been through hell and back in his short life, and he is very good at putting up a barrier between him and other people, so he doesn’t get hurt. He pushes everyone away because it’s easier than fighting a losing battle. You know what happened with his mother, my Lina. She never fought for Calum, and he carries that hurt in his heart every day,” Grace wiped a tear from under her eye before continuing. “He’ll never tell you this himself, so I’ll do it for him – he needs someone like you, Parker. Someone who will fight for him. He deserves all the love in the world and I know you love him. He just needs someone who won’t give up, who won’t abandon him like his mother did. He will make mistakes, and sometimes he’ll try to push you away. I promise you that if you stick with him, and you don’t give up on him, he will give you everything you ever dreamed of. He has so much to offer, and when he opens up, there is no one in this world with a bigger heart. I’m so proud of how much he’s done for himself in the last year, but nothing makes him happier than you do. He just needs to know that he deserves you.”
Parker had tears welling up in her eyes by the end of Grace’s speech. She could have tried harder when Calum left. She called, but she could have done more. She was partly to blame in all this, too. She didn’t fight for him the way she should have. She could see that now, and she promised herself, for Calum, that she would always fight for him.
Parker leaned forward, hugging Grace tightly. “I promise I’ll take care of him,” she whispered.
“I know you will, honey,” Grace smiled. “Welcome home.”

Parker and Calum were getting ready to head to The Wildflower for one of Calum’s shows, and Parker was sitting on the floor, playing with Duke while she waited for Calum to get dressed. She thought back on her life over the last year, how much had changed. The first time she came over to Calum’s apartment, Duke turned his nose up at her attempt to pet him. Now, he greeted her before Calum when they came inside. She smiled as she thought about how this man had become her home, and she couldn’t imagine her life without him.
Calum came out of the bedroom, buttoning his shirt. Parker stared at the stripe of skin showing on his chest until he buttoned it all the way, then finally lifted her gaze to his face. Chocolate brown eyes, full lips, dark curls messy but effortless. It annoyed Parker, how little effort he had to put in to look as incredible as he did every day, but her heart swelled with pride at the same time. This man was hers.
“I have something for you,” he smiled, pressing a kiss to her cheek and pulling a chain out of his pocket. It was simple; silver, with an intricate key pendant hanging on the end. On the back of the key, the letter ‘C’ was engraved.
Parker smiled. It was simple and dainty—exactly something Parker would have picked out for herself. “I love it,” she whispered, pressing her lips to his. “But what’s the occasion?”
“It’s metaphorical, since you don’t actually need a key for my apartment,” he grinned.
Parker just looked at him, puzzled.
Calum rolled his eyes at her lack of understanding—it was adorable. “I want you to move in with me.”
Parker just stared at him, eyes wide. “Are you serious?”
Calum chuckled. “Of course I’m serious, love. You wanna?”
Parker threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and planting a series of little kisses to his lips. She pulled back. “Are you really sure, Cal? I drive you crazy.”
Calum laughed. “I love you, angel. I want you with me all the time. Besides, you already stay over most nights. The boys love you, Duke loves you, I can’t think of any reason why you shouldn’t.”
Parker turned, lifting her hair so Calum could fasten the chain around her neck. She turned back to him, beaming. “Okay.”
• • • • • •
When they arrived at the pub, it was quiet; not as busy as it usually was, which gave Calum a good opportunity to play some new music.
“I’ve been working on this new one, think maybe I’ll try it out tonight, if that’s alright,” he spoke into the mic. “Less of you to disappoint,” he laughed lightly, and they laughed, too. These people had become like a little family—he felt so at home here. “It’s called Waste The Night.”
The crowd went wild for his new song. John caught up to Calum as he was packing up his equipment to tell him that he had another steady gig lined up for him at a restaurant on the West end if he wanted it.
It seemed that people were hearing about his music all across town, and Calum was elated. After so many years of feeling like he’d never amount to anything, he could finally say he was living a life he was proud of.

“Michael, sit still. I can’t do this if you keep flinching.”
Parker was sitting on a stool in front of Michael, applying his makeup to complete his costume. Luke and Sierra, Luke’s new girlfriend, were throwing a Halloween party and Michael had begged Parker to do his makeup, but he had been sitting there for an hour and he was getting antsy.
“You’re getting it in my eyes,” he whined.
“It’s makeup. It’s literally meant to go on your eyes. You’re being a baby,” she rolled her eyes, smiling. She had grown very close to Michael in the time she’d been with Calum. She loved all the boys, but she spent almost as much time with Michael as she did with Calum. It drove him crazy sometimes, but in the end he was just happy his brothers loved Parker as much as he did.
Calum’s life had never been better. He played music for a bunch of different venues around town and the change in scenery kept things interesting, but it always felt like coming home when he played at The Wildflower. He and Parker had been living together for almost a year, and while it had been an adjustment for him at first, as it had just been him and Duke for over five years, his place felt like home with her there.
Parker’s parents seemed to warm up to Calum, too, after realizing that their daughter was head over heels for him and he wasn’t going anywhere.
Calum came into the living room and Parker did a double take at his costume. He was dressed as Danny from Grease—very little effort, considering the only difference from his day-to-day outfit of black boots, jeans and a leather jacket was the styled hair, but he still looked good—like, really good.
“Wow,” Parker breathed, almost forgetting that Michael was sitting there as she shamelessly ogled her boyfriend. “You look amazing.”
Calum gave her a sly grin and winked at her. “Thanks, doll. Where’s your costume?”
Parker looked down at herself, still dressed in lounge shorts and an oversized tee of Calum’s. “I’m not ready yet. I’ve been preoccupied with Michael’s makeup,” she said, gesturing to her handiwork, Michael smiling proudly. He did look amazing. He wore a black and white striped suit, and Parker had dyed his blonde hair neon green for the occasion. His costume was Beetlejuice, but she wanted to do her own less messy version of the classic character, so she did a purple smokey eye and added touches of green to the sides of his face and down his neck. He looked awesome.
The front door opened and Ashton walked in, carrying a backpack full of what was probably an assortment of booze. He was dressed almost identical to Calum—he was supposed to be Kenickie, also from Grease. Parker rolled her eyes at the boys’ complete lack of effort or originality.
Calum made the four of them a drink, Michael’s sitting untouched next to him while Parker finished his face.
“There,” she said finally. “Done.”
Michael stood up and walked over to the mirror on the wall by the front door. “Holy shit, P. I look amazing!” he gasped, a grin splitting his face. He lifted his fingers to inspect his face closer.
“Don’t touch!” Parker shrieked. “It’s not dry yet, you’ll ruin it!”
Michael jumped at her shrill tone, his hand recoiling. “Yes, ma’am,” he teased.
“I’m gonna go get dressed,” she announced, standing and collecting her assortment of special effects makeup from the table next to where Michael was sitting.
The last thing Parker wanted to dress as was Sandy—she felt like the costume was way overdone, but because of Calum’s costume, she decided it would make the most sense. She pulled on a pair of tight leather pants she had borrowed from Jenna, slipped into her red peep-toes, applied a red lip and draped her shoulders with a leather jacket to finish the look.
When she came out of the bedroom, all three of the boys stopped to look at her. Ashton whistled, and Michael’s response of “P, you look hot!” earned him a punch in the gut from Calum.
Calum walked over to her, spinning her around once and admiring her. “You do look hot,” he grinned. “You wanna forget about this party?” he whispered, pressing the softest of kisses to the spot just below her ear. “I could think of a better way to spend the night.”
Parker blushed, but there was no way she was missing out on this party, no matter how good he looked.
• • • • • •
When they arrived at the party, it was already chaos. Some people Parker knew through the boys, but most of them were strangers. Luke pulled Parker in for a hug and took her hand, leading her into the kitchen where he had set up a variation of liquor bottles.
“Take your pick, babe!” he exclaimed excitedly.
The rest of the boys joined them shortly after, where Luke and Parker had already downed three shots each. As Luke was pouring them all another one, Parker noticed Sierra hugging a petite girl at the front door, who had seemingly arrived alone. She was wearing an unmistakable Lydia costume. Parker leaned over to Luke. “Who’s that girl that Sierra is talking to?” she asked curiously.
Luke glanced over to his girlfriend at the door. “Oh, that’s Crystal. One of Sierra’s friends.”
Parker flashed a wry smile, and Luke looked immediately concerned. “Oh, God, I know that look. What are you on about?”
“Oh, nothing,” Parker waved her hand casually. “Just that she happens to be here all by herself, and that she’s wearing the other half to Michael’s costume.”
It seemed Parker was not the only one who noticed the similarity, because the girl’s eyes lit up in recognition as soon as she saw Michael, and she followed Sierra as she made her way back to the group of them in the kitchen. Sierra introduced her to everyone. She was really sweet, and Michael couldn’t take his eyes off her.
“I love your costume!” he said excitedly, taking a sip of his beer.
“Thanks,” she grinned. “Your makeup looks awesome,” she added, “did you do it yourself?”
Michael choked out a laugh. “No,” he shook his head, then turned and pointed at Parker. “Parker did.”
“How come you guys don’t have matching costumes?” Crystal asked curiously.
“Me and Parker?” Michael looked confused, then his face softened as he realized what she meant. “Oh, she’s not my girlfriend,” he shook his head, and Crystal’s face brightened immediately. “More like my sister, honestly. She’s with Cal. I’m flying solo.”
Parker watched their entire interaction with the biggest smile on her face. Michael was the kindest person she knew—it was about time he met someone as sweet as he was.
Calum snapped her out of her distracted staring when he held out his hand in front of her. “Care to dance, angel?”

Christmas that year was different for Calum. He always spent Christmas Eve with the boys. They usually went out for dinner and had a couple drinks before making their way back to one of their houses to exchange gifts and watch a movie or two. Then on Christmas Day he went over to Gram’s for the afternoon and she made a big dinner for just the two of them.
This year, their circle had grown by four additional people, so it made sense to have a whole celebration with everyone there. They held it on Christmas Eve so the boys could spend Christmas Day with their own families, and everyone gathered at Gram’s house.
Gram was delighted to have a whole house full of people to cook for, since the last time she had a big holiday party was when Calum’s granddad was still alive. The boys would come over periodically for dinner, but that didn’t really count. All the girls—Crystal, Sierra, Ashton’s girlfriend KayKay and Parker helped Gram in the kitchen while the boys goofed off and relaxed by the Christmas tree. When they all sat down for dinner, Gram at the head of the table, Calum looked around at all his friends, his girl, and he was so thankful that he could call these people his family. After a lifetime spent hating the world and everyone in it, his life was good, and Calum was happy.

Calum was at home working on some new music at the end of February when his phone rang. An unfamiliar number flashed on the screen before Calum answered.
“Hello?”
“Hello, I’m looking for Mr. Calum Hood,” replied a voice that Calum didn’t recognize.
“This is Calum.”
“Hello, Mr. Hood, this is Dr. Schilling from Blue Cross Regional Hospital. I’m calling regarding Grace Hood.”
Calum’s mouth went dry as his heart dropped into the pit of his stomach.
“Mr. Hood, I’m afraid we need you to come down right away.”
Calum’s hands were shaking, gripping his phone so tightly that his knuckles were turning white. “Is she—what happened?” he managed to reply, voice cracking.
Parker came down the hall from the bedroom, immediately noticing Calum’s rigid posture.
“It’s difficult to discuss over the phone—”
“What happened!” he demanded, voice rising to an angry yell.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Hood. She passed away.”
The phone slipped out of his hand, clattering to the floor. Calum slid to his knees, fingers tugging on his hair as he rocked back and forth on his heels. He didn’t make a sound. He couldn’t breathe—he felt like the air had been sucked out of his lungs, gasping for air as he tried to breathe in deeply. Parker ran over, dropping to her knees in front of him and putting her hands on his shoulders.
“Calum! Calum, what happened?”
He said nothing as she shook him frantically, trying to get him to answer.
Finally, he looked up at her, his eyes glassy and tears pooling in his eyes and falling down his cheeks. “She’s gone,” he choked out.
“No,” Parker leaned back, shaking her head. Her eyes filled with tears, too. “No, she can’t be.”
“She's gone,” he whispered again.
And then his body shook violently, tears escaping as he sobbed, and Parker cried too, holding him, trying to comfort him while he mourned the loss of the only family he had. Grace was the most important thing in his life, and just like that, she was gone. Parker’s heart shattered into a million pieces as she watched the man she loved crumble in front of her.
• • • • • •
When he was sure he had no tears left to cry, Calum stood, eyes red and swollen, the sleeves of his sweater soaked with tears. “We need to go,” he said, voice thick and scratchy from crying. “We have to go to the hospital.”
The drive to the hospital was a blur—Parker didn’t really even remember getting there. She remembered calling Michael in a daze, telling him what happened before hanging up and letting him deal with telling Ashton and Luke. She remembered sitting with Calum in the waiting room for the doctor that called him. She remembered what the doctor told her—that she had a sudden heart attack, likely resulting from her head injury and there was nothing that could have been done. Grace’s neighbour called an ambulance but she was gone before she even made it to the hospital. Parker remembered walking with her hand firmly clasped in Calum’s as they entered the room that Gram was in, her body covered with a sheet.
Calum sucked in a breath, stopping at the door.
Parker stepped in front of him, blocking his view of the room. “You don’t have to see her,” she told him, cupping his face in her hands. “You don’t have to remember her like this.” She spoke calmly, though she felt anything but.
Calum shook his head. “No,” he sniffled, wiping his nose on his sleeve. “I have to.” It sounded more like he was convincing himself than anyone else.
Parker nodded and grasped his hand, holding tight as she walked with him to the bed.
“Can—can you—”
Parker nodded. She lifted the corner of the sheet, pulling it back slowly to reveal Grace’s face and upper body. She looked peaceful, like she was sleeping, but Calum and Parker both knew she wasn’t.
Calum’s resolve broke again, and the tears streamed down his face as he reached out slowly to touch her. He touched her hand, and it wasn’t warm like it usually was. He crouched down, body shaking with silent sobs as he rested his head on the bed next to the woman who raised him.
“I’m so sorry, Gram,” he choked, over and over. “I’m sorry.”
Parker just stood there behind him, helpless, rubbing his back in a futile attempt to calm him down, but she was crying, too.
After a while he stood, and he hugged Parker tightly, as if he was afraid she'd disappear if he let go. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, and she just held him while he cried.
“I’m so sorry, baby,” she whispered, sliding her hands up the back of his hoodie and rubbing soothing circles on his lower back.
She looked out the window of the room, seeing Michael, Luke and Ashton standing there with somber expressions on their faces.
“The boys are here,” Parker whispered.
Calum lifted his head, wiping his eyes. “Thanks for calling them.”
She followed behind him as he joined his brothers outside the room, the four of them coming together in a hug, comforting each other. Gram wasn’t just Calum’s family—she was all of theirs.
• • • • • •
Parker decided to take some time off work to be with Calum after Gram’s death. The night he got the call, Calum tossed and turned all night. Parker woke up in the middle of the night and found Calum gone. She got out of bed and went out into the living room, seeing him out on the balcony having a cigarette. She wrapped her arm around his waist, resting her head on his shoulder. He was silent for a few minutes, then he finally spoke. “Go back to bed, angel,” he whispered, kissing the top of her head. “I’m gonna have another smoke.”
The next morning, Parker woke, still alone. She wasn’t sure if Calum had come back to bed or if he stayed in the living room the rest of the night, but he was already awake. She sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Duke was asleep on Calum’s side of the bed, and Loki was sleeping in his tree by their bedroom window. She rolled over, careful not to disturb Duke, and climbed out of bed. As she stood, she heard a loud crash from the living room, making her jump. This jolted Duke awake, his ears down and shoulders hunched from being startled, and Loki jumped off his tree and skirted under the bed. Parker heard another loud bang, followed by a third, all accompanied by Calum cursing loudly.
“Fuck!” she heard him yell, and she ran down the hall as she continued to hear the sound of smashing glass. She stopped in her tracks when she took in the sight of the living room—there were shards everywhere. The coffee table had been upturned, a large crack in the center, and several vases and picture frames were littered on the floor, a fine dusting of glass shards spanning from the entrance of the hallway where Parker stood, all the way through the kitchen and to the front door.
Calum stood in the middle of the room in nothing but a pair of sweats, his feet bare, hands laced behind his head as he looked down. She could hear him incoherently mumbling to himself, but she couldn’t make out what he was saying. She retreated back into the bedroom, quickly grabbing a pair of slippers and putting them on before closing the door to prevent their pets from walking through the glass.
She made her way over to him slowly, walking carefully over the glass. It was then that she noticed three large holes in the drywall, dust and blood covering the knuckles on Calum’s right hand.
“Baby,” Parker whispered. “What happened?” she asked stupidly, regretting her question as soon as it left her lips. She knew what happened, obviously. He was angry, and he took it out in the only way he felt could give him control.
“I should have been there,” he muttered. “I should have been with her,” he said as he finally looked up, and his eyes were red-rimmed and bloodshot.
“Cal, there’s nothing you could have done. It was a heart attack. There was nothing anyone could have done to save her.”
“But she was alone,” he sniffed. “I should have been with her. She shouldn’t even have been living alone. I haven’t seen her since last Friday. We were supposed to have lunch on Wednesday afternoon, and I bailed ‘cause I wasn’t feeling good. The last time I talked to her was to cancel plans, and now I’m never going to see her again.”
If Parker’s heart hadn’t already broken yesterday, it was definitely broken now. Calum carried so much on his shoulders, and now he blamed himself for Gram’s death.
“It’s not your fault, baby,” Parker whispered. Calum ignored her. She grabbed his face, forcing him to look at her. “This wasn’t your fault. And she loved you. And she knew how much you loved her. You didn’t let her down. She was so proud of you.”
“I can’t believe she’s gone,” he whispered, shaking his head. He seemed to just notice all the glass all over the floor. “Fuck, I’m sorry,” he cursed, inspecting her to make sure she wasn’t cut anywhere. His eyes widened in sudden alarm. “Where are the boys?” he asked, thinking of Duke and Loki. “Fuck, I’m so stupid, I wasn’t thinking,” he muttered, taking in the state of the living room.
“They’re fine. I locked them in the bedroom,” she assured him. “Come on, let’s get this cleaned up and then I can draw you a bath,” she suggested, knowing how Calum liked to relax in a hot bath when he had a shitty day.
He nodded. “I’m sorry, angel. This was reckless. I could have hurt you.”
Parker shook her head. “It’s okay, I’m fine,” she promised him, but he didn’t seem satisfied.
“I just got so angry. At myself, at everything.”
Parker nodded. “I know, baby,” she whispered, wrapping her arms around his bare torso and holding him tight. She lifted his right hand to her lips, pressing gentle kisses to his bleeding knuckles.
Calum swept up the glass while Parker righted the coffee table and picked up all the broken picture frames. She followed him with the vacuum, cleaning up all the tiny shards of glass he missed until they were sure it was safe for Duke and Loki to come out.
Once everything was cleaned up, Parker drew a bath for Calum and lit some candles, adding a lavender bath bomb to the tub.
She went out into the living room to tell him that the bath was ready, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“Thank you, angel,” he stood, kissing her forehead and heading into the bathroom, leaving the door open as he always did.
A few seconds later, Parker heard him calling for her. When she entered the bathroom, he was standing next to the tub, naked.
“Get in with me,” he gestured to the tub with a nod of his head. He didn’t mean it in a sexual way at all, he just needed to be close to her. Calum moved to where Parker stood, lifting her shirt over her head, sliding her sweats down and discarding them both next to his own. He got in first, leaning against the back of the tub before holding his hand out for her to step in. She settled in between his legs, resting her head in the space between his head and his shoulder. Calum wrapped his arms around her, his hands folded and resting on her stomach. They lay like that for a while, letting the hot water warm their skin, the smell of lavender relaxing them.
Finally, Calum broke their silence. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “I love you, you know,” he murmured. “More than I ever thought I would be capable of.”
Parker’s insides melted, and it wasn’t due to the hot water. She lifted one of his hands, pressing a kiss to his palm. “I love you, too, Cal.”
Even though losing Gram had turned his world upside down, he knew things would be okay again, as long as Parker was by his side.

Request: hi!! can i ask for a taeyoung fic where the reader is an older trainee at starship and tae has the fattest noona crush on him 🥺
Plot: In which getting locked into a closet brings you a lot closer to a certain younger trainee
- The first thing taeyoung was greeted with while entering the practice room for the first time was a big group hug, sweaty arms and shoulders embracing him from everywhere
- (he swore he could have felt someone wrap their legs around him koala-style too)
- Giggles and shouts echoed through the room and despite himself (and the numerous sweats stains the huggers left on his new, plain white shirt :)), he felt himself giggling along with these strangers that he has known for a total of 5 seconds
- A chorus of very very enthusiastic “Hi Taeyoung!”s as the group released him from their hug followed, people introducing themselves to him left and right, leaving him slightly disoriented, but like, a good kind of disoriented if that was a thing
- As each trainee introduced themselves properly to him, by what he was guessing as age order– age, years of training, name, all that jazz
- Taeyoung’s eyes finally drifted to the person at the end of the line
- You!!
- There’s a small sign with the word “leader” messily written in black Sharpie on it and he noticed the corners of it didn’t stick on your shirt anymore
- Your eyes shone brightly and warmly, a wide grin etched on your face and Taeyoung felt his heart skip a beat
- Taeyoung seeing you basically: 😳
- You took a big step towards him and extended a hand towards him
- “Hi! I’m (Y/N), leader of this practice room, and you’re watching Disney Channel. Welcome to Starship Entertainment. Let’s get along well!”
- Taeyoung’s eyes widened slightly.
- Taeyoung: “what if… what if my hand was sweaty???”
- “What if my hand sweat disgusts her????”
- To the poor boy’s shock, you retract your hand
- Taeyoung now, his eyes even wider because he thought you hated him now: “Did I make her wait too long????,,, does she hate me??? am i gonna have to leave starship now????”
- Taeyoung stop overreacting
- However, you open your arms very wide, inching closer and closer to him until your body is about 2 inches apart from his
- Taeyoung’s heart right now: THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THU-
- You hugged him in what might the warmest and most comfortable hug Taeyoung has ever received
- After a few seconds, which felt like an eternity for Taeyoung, you broke the hug and ruffled his hair
- “Let’s be good friends, kiddo :D!”, you said while unintentionally kiddo-zoning AND friend-zoning Taeyoung at the same time
- And become good friends you guys did!
- You were the one he was closest to and the most comfortable with among the female trainees
- Whenever he couldn’t execute a dance move the way he wanted to, you were there at his rescue! guiding him through it and calming him down
- Whenever his throat was feeling sore from all the practicing and singing, you were there to yeet a bottle of water at him and tell him to stay hydrated, ruffling his hair while he whines at you for always treating him like a child
- Whenever he felt sad, down and as if the whole world was against him, you were there to sit down with him, remind him that no! he’s not alone, he had you and the other trainees who cared a lot for him
- Sometimes, you guys engage in deep long talks that last hours
- They always without fail manage to cheer him up and its probably during one of these talks that he starts to crush on you
- And boy does he start crushing h a r d
- The thing he liked most about you was probably the way you were so kind and so encouraging to everybody
- Even if the teachers scolded you for spending too much time helping the others with their moves or something, you didn’t care
- You liked helping others and you had already claimed all the others as your children >:D
- Anyways, the second time where he felt himself fall even deeper for you was on a weekend night, late in the night
- All the others have opted to go out to the movies or to go sing at a karaoke since it was the weekend
- You, however, decided to stay at the practice room to touch up some dance moves you didn’t feel that good about and Taeyoung stayed because… well because of you
- After practicing for a good while with him and also lowkey just messing around, you laid down on the hard floor, your shirt soaked with sweat, Taeyoung soon following suit.
- You turn towards him to face him and Taeyoung noticed how pretty you were, even with your sweaty, wet, messy hair plastered to the sides of your face, even when your nostrils were flaring up and down because you were out of breath
- “I never noticed how pretty your lips were” you said and turned back to stare at the ceiling
- While taeyoung’s literally about to flatline because his heart is beating so quickly jssjakak
- He also turns to stare at the ceiling awkwardly because he swears to god, if he looks at you for one more second, he will literally combust
- “R-really?” - him, absolutely shook while you lay there peacefully smiling at nothing
- “Yeah :) they look very soft :)”
- Taeyoung’s literally shaking at this point
- “T-that’s cool. Your lips are pretty too?? I guess?? N-not to be creepy, i just find them really pretty, like pretty in shape, you know haha? And color too!! Your lip color is really pretty :’DD”
- He turns back towards you to see you snoring and sleeping peacefully and he just sits there for a minute blinking because
- What just happened
- …
- The poor boy is on the verge of tears because :((( was he that boring to the point where you feel asleep :(((
- The truth is you were just tired from practicing and from pulling that one nighter yesterday
- But he didnt know that so whoops
- He ended up just saying fuck it and just fell asleep next to you, his arm under his head serving as a pillow
- And oh boy y’all bet y’all got teased when the other trainees came back and found you two together
- Taeyoung with his arm around your waist even though he made sure to sleep at least 3 feet away from you last night because he wanted to respect your personal space
- Your face nuzzled into his chest
- Your legs tangled together
- S c a n d a l o u s
- Many pictures were taken on that day
- “God tier blackmail material” - kang minhee probably
- That was the day where you also started seeing taeyoung in a different light
- Maybe… just maybe he wasn’t the kid you always thought he was?
- Maybe he was… a man 😳
- There’s no way, right?? Haha you were just tripping
- … unless ?
- You start paying attention to your hair whenever you practiced with him
- No longer were the days where you liked to agressively flip your hair into his face because what if your hair smelled bad today :(?
- And wow, you really weren’t lying that night
- His lips really were pretty :0
- And how can someone look so good right after waking up at 5 am? And right after dancing for 30 minutes straight?
- And wow he really cleaned up well in a suit and tie when there was a certain formal event you guys had to attend
- You were even afraid to hug him sometimes after practice because what if you got sweat on him :((( what if your sweat disgusts him :((((
- Oh how the turn tables
- Unfortunately, taeyoung being the clueless boy he is mistakes your crush on him to being uncomfortable
- He racks his mind to think of something he did to offend you or something
- And he suddenly remembers the practice room night
- Did he make you uncomfortable that night? Maybe he should have woken you up instead of laying down with you?
- Goddammit taeyoung - him
- He now thinks you hate him whoops :)
- So now the two of you avoid each other
- You avoid him because you’re still having an existential crisis over whether you really consider him as a crush and a man or a boi™
- He avoids you because he feels guilty for sleeping next to you and thinks you think he’s creepy
- Two idiots in love :)
- And y’all bet the other trainees knows how absolutely dumb and in love the both of you are
- And that is why they formed a plan together to
- !!! lock both of you in a closet to talk out your feelings !!!
- Isn’t that just genius haha nothing’s gonna go wrong right? Of course not
- So, Minhee’s mainly the one behind this absolute evil masterpiece
- He commands tells poor Seongmin to go tell you that you need to retrieve a bucket from the closet
- While Wonjin’s the one who tells Taeyoung to go there to get a mop for “spring cleaning” even though its almost july
- And as if y’all couldn’t be dumber, you guys buy it and do exactly as they say
- You arrive first to the closet, not noticing the small footsteps behind you as Taeyoung also walks towards the closet, too enthralled by something on his phone to notice you were right before him
- As you enter the tight closet, you don’t see a bucket?
- Did you get the wrong closet?? :( you remember them specifically saying it was this one though
- You hear the closet door open once again and you yelp, surprised by the sudden creaking and suddenly finding yourself face to face with Taeyoung
- His nose was literally almost touching yours because of how small the closet was and you feel your heartbeat accelerate
- You didn’t even have the time so say hi to him before the doors suddenly closes followed by the sound of something, or rather somebody locking it.
- Now that the door was closed, there was no natural light peeking through the crack of the door like before and you both find yourselves in the dark, tight space of the closet
- You stare bewildered at Taeyoung’s direction and you were pretty sure his expression was also mirroring yours before both of you turned towards the door and banged on it
- It didn’t take long to conclude the others were behind this as the sound of giggling and hushed laughter could be heard from outside
- “YOU FUCKNUTS” - Taeyoung
- You at him swearing: 😶🤭😯😧😮😲
- “LET US OUT”
- “NOT UNTIL YOU TALK TO EACH OTHER AND STOP BEING DUMBASSES. YOU GUYS ARE IN LOVE AND ITS ANNOYING. BYE” sais someone who suspiciously sounded like Minhee
- You knew they weren’t gonna give up so you tried to find where the light switch was so you could at least see
- “Taeyoung, just give it up, do you know where the light is?”
- “IT’S NEXT TO THE DOOR” - a voice from outside
- “Thanks, I guess” you muttered, trying to stabilize yourself when you almost trip on something, which you were guessing was probably Taeyoung’s foot or something like that
- “Ouch!” Yep, that was his foot
- “Sorry, it’s really dark here, can you help me find the light switch. I can’t even remember where the door was”
- You keep palping the wall to find it when you come in contact with something else :) something that kinda feels like a hand :) like Taeyoung’s hands :) not that you memorized the feeling of his hand shape from holding his hands so many times you could recognize them anywhere anytime :) totally not :)
- You hear a “click” and the light finally comes out of a light bulb from the ceiling and you tightly close your eyes for a second to get accustomed to the sudden change
- When reopening them, you realize that you and Taeyoung found the light switch at the same time, your hand now on top of his
- You quickly retract your hand, your face feeling kinda warm, and glance at Taeyoung to find that his face, too, was very very red
- “So… um…”
- “Yep…”
- Awkward silence ensues :)
- “Look y/n i can’t take it anymore… i’m so sorry for making you uncomfortable that night when i slept next to you in the practice room. I was tired and i didnt want to wake you up because you looked so peaceful. Im sorry :(“
- “Wait… what, Taeyoung, you didn’t make me uncomfortable at all. Actually, since that night, I’ve just been really weird. I get weird around you, not in like a bad way. My heart feels weird, my stomach too. Like it feels like having butterflies in your stomach. All this time I thought of you as a kid, and now I might actually,,,,,, seeyoulikeaman?”
- Taeyoung: :0
- sO YOU DON’T HATE ME? Or is this your way of indirectly telling me that you hate me :(“
- “NO NO I DONT HATE YOU AT ALL WHAT MADE YOU THINK THAT”
- Haha nothing just you basically avoiding me 24/7 and not talking to me ever about anything anymore - taeyoung in his head
- “Idk. Wait, what did you say before? You might see what?”
- “Uh, well basically, uhhh…”
- “Does the mighty y/n mayhaps have a crush on me? I think I heard something like “i might see you like a man now”, huh?” Cue Taeyoung grinning like the Cheshire cat
- “Pfft, no, what do you mean, i never said that…”.........
- “Ok, yes, I admit it, I may have a small, teeny crush on you. I don’t know how it happened but it happened. And I actually like the feeling I get when I’m nervous around you. That sounds really weird, doesn’t it? And now I feel stupid because you probably don’t feel the same.”
- Taeyoung who has been crushing on you literally from the second he saw you: :0
- “I have a confession, but… I’ve liked you since the day you hugged me in that practice room my first day at Starship.”
- “WHAT?”
- “You were so kind to me and the others even when I just entered the company. You supported me through all these years and I don’t think I honestly could have picked someone else better than you to crush on. You’re literally an angel in disguise, Y/N.”
- Homeboy really just poured his entire heart and feelings to you in a closet
- “Wow. I guess we were crushing on each other this whole time and didn’t notice.” You couldn’t help but chuckle at the situation.
- “NOW KISS” - a voice outside, again
- You and Taeyoung shared an exasperated look together.
- “Leave us alone, this is private >:(((“
- “No.”
- You know, Tae,” you put your hand on his arm, wiggling your eyebrows suggestively, “that kiss doesn’t sound like a bad idea” You were now sporting a wide grin.
- “Y/N NOT YOU TOO”
Bonus
“guys! get us out of here”
“jungmo unlock them”
“...”
“jungmo!”
“i may have forgotten the lock combination…”
“JUNGMO!”
