Also, if u were curious, since I’ve only played Botw and most but not all of totk, 98% of the time my yandere self-aware ideas will be of Wild/Tears.

How does Wild/Tears feel about the fairies? Like, is he embarrassed that reader has to watch that? Does he worry what they think? Or is he just like “eh, I can’t control their upgrade animations, sorry”. Then how does he feel when reader thinks it’s kinda cute/funny? I don’t want to traumatize the poor guy, but I must admit watching the level four animation is slightly funny bc I feel so bad for him. And in level three when he covers his face is cute.

What about when he just has to sit there for 10 hrs his time? Listen, I wanna upgrade the darn champion’s tunic but the stupid upgrades require 2 of each farmable dragon Zelda item. And I couldn’t find her for so long it was annoying. Ik she follows a certain path but even so u have to just keep following the path hoping u eventually run into her. So I just decided to farm an item, then sit there for 10 minutes r time until she’s farmable again. So how does Tears feel? Am I wasting his time? Is he bored? If he had an animation for it would he fall asleep? Would he glare at me for making him sit there for 10 hours? Plus, ima be honest. For those 10 minutes of me just waiting, I’ll usually scroll on my phone. I’m not gonna stare at the tv for 10 minutes, sorry lol. So is he mad that I’m not paying attention to him and stuff?

There was this one fic someone wrote about Wild being hit by a curse that trapped him in his memory next time he unlocked one, so he had to watch it over and over and over. The rest of the chain had to save him. Tho, if it makes u feel any better, I only like happy endings, no open ended ones, no sad ones, or character deaths. Nope. Fairy tale where they all lived happily ever after please and thank u lol. So anyway, I got sidetracked lol. My question was, would he be mad if I just put the game on the clothes menu when he’s overheating so he doesn’t lose any hearts over it, just watching him do it for a minute or two?

Sometimes I need to wear like one clothing item per outfit so I can use like 3 different abilities. For example, maybe bandana to climb faster, gloom shirt for an extra heartbreak, and snow pants bc it’s freezing? And sometimes I’ll complain that he looks ugly, well, not him, but the outfit, and say that I wish I could make him look cuter but I need these abilities atm. Does he hate the outfits like I do? Does he care more about function? Does he hate that I care so much?

How does he feel not being able to talk? Like literally every other character can talk except him. And he can’t do anything by himself. Everything he does is either a programmed animation or an action by my controller. I bet he has a lot he wants to say but can’t. Does he ever worry that if he were to get out and see me, what if he couldn’t talk to me??

so starting from the top -

I think the fairies are a touchy subject for him, if you like the cutscenes then he can set his discomfort about being picked up and kissed somewhat - don't get me wrong he doesn't enjoy it but for your happiness he'll do it as many times as you make him (although, unless he finds a way to override the controls then it's not really like he has a choice in it) he'll make notes about how you like him acting in certain ways though - I mean if you like seeing him as a blushy mess covering his face in the game then you'll like it more when he's doing it in person right? Please don't make him recreate the level four one though.

To be honest, there's nothing that you could do to him that he could ever consider a waste of time. would he prefer you to be actively engaged? sure. Is he bothered if you're still there but just waiting for a bit for the dragon to recharge? Not really, yeah he'd prefer to be doing more, but at the same time it gives him a chance to observe and to get more of a grasp of how the game works while it's on and running compared to when he's robbed of his body and is left a being floating in a desolate void of numbers and machine code. He can relax and still have feeling and eyes on you and your eyes on him every now and then even though it's not as often as he'd like. as for the time? I think once he became aware he stopped running on hyrules time, so it's only ten minutes for him too. Ten minutes that granted feel longer than that cause of the scenery, but still only ten minutes. if it were a situation where he was still in a hyrule then he'd be further detached from anyone else. (my thoughts are if the game is left in standby on the switch then it's all still loaded and the links have free reign but if it's closed and you're playing another switch game then it tosses them into the abyss)

The fact that there's a chance he wouldn't be able to communicate with you is something that he worries about alot, not even just not having a voice. He'd be fine with being mute if he can write or sign to you, hell he could probably delude himself into being fine that he couldn't do that if he could move freely and hold you. what scares him the most is the idea that he'd be like a puppet cut, that if he gets out that without the code acting as his strings he falls limp like a puppet cut loose. that's what's horrifying to him. anything else he could learn to live with, but that potential keeps him from making any rash movements where the cost could outweigh the benefits. I like to think that out of desperation, (this goes for sky in the fic too) they stole another characters voicebank from another game :) one that speaks your native tongue preferably, but at the very least one that shares a language you speak

this def applies to different scenarios: 1. he doesnt do well when it comes to scenarios when theres other bodies involved, u saw what happened in the council room and him being basically volun - told that hes part of the council now theres a million thoughts going thru his mind and he immediately gets overwhelmed and stressed that it turns into anger because he doesnt know how else to cope with those emotions, esp angry because no one will listen to him (sex is separated and a different topic all together). 2. in terms of science, hes the type of guy to be deflated and loses self esteem but doesnt give up, however hell try and push back if those are under threat so rly it just depends fully on the scenario and those involved

overall tldr anger is the primary emotion that pushes forth when what or who he loves is put in jeopardy and out of his control and will fight for it back as u see throughout the show i dont need to give examples

other than hextech and science, he finds joy in art and loves creating it its something his mother tried to push on him when he was younger to distract from the rune and magic as a whole (it didnt work) but hes naturally talented in that. and sweets too he likes sweets specifically chocolate and u know what hell yeah sure the whimsical the magical he also finds joy in others happiness but not at the expense of his own

he wouldnt notice at first truly believing they rly see the good of what hes doing and taking that advice with stride; itd go over his head until those pieces slowly start connecting and at that point its been a little too late for him to properly react, just like above he would be angry and flabbergasted and annoyed at how he could fall for it and it makes it even worse ESP when that person is of higher standing and knows how to use their words to make it sound honeyed and knows how to tickle his brain to make the offer or statement think hes doing the right thing (but if u see him being emotionally manipulated by the machine herald dont tell him hes exactly where he wants to be)

4. Also I love the idea of papapulse. Like I imagine Pearl or grian (most likely grian:^P) and Impulse going full demon mode tl protect them. 5. In the fic "sitting in the garden at your feet" they have a whole picnic and all the adorableness. Do they go on more picnics frequently? (I really hope soo) I would guess they do since in villainous things they were also on their way to a picnic...but then yeah...poor birb tbh and poor scar

Is it possible that etho is a Watcher? I'm mean   he is definitely not human(or maybe he is an immortal human?)  Etho may recognize grian, either as an old Watcher or a new Watcher to be made. Or maybe etho just thinks it is weird to see scar with grian(A HUMAN) The last one is more logical <:^)

8. On that note with Etho. You never confirm nor deny if grian is the "lost watcher" but what if I were to ask you if EFFO is the lost Watcher. I don't have proof but-...yeah idk

mmm......chips stimming headcanons........headcanons for how i think some of the chips would stiiimmm

bert is an avid vocal stimmer i think. he makes little noises & stuff & says random phrases...based on his twitter because of how many times he just. tweets out his own name. bro stims like a pokemon /silly. also playing with the zipper on his jacket & stuufff also the fidget cube!!! hell yeah!!!

for dandy i think he doesn't really...stim very outwardly. but i think he probably plays with/pulls at his own hair & clothes & stuff. maybe the little dangling bits from the part that's tied to his arm. also the kind of guy to unbutton & rebutton the same button on his shirt a bunch of times. i don't know if that's just a thing that i do but i hope you know what i mean.

dee meows. i think they meow when they're excited :^3c i also think they knead random stuff like a cat. just subconsciously kneading at stuff with nice textures. i think they like feeling soft stuff.

i think spencer would like. this is hard to explain but he would move his shapes around & stuff...like he can change his form & stuff so. i also think he gets extra glow-y when excited or happy :^) probably makes his own stim toys out of little holograms LOL

vosim...where do u even start with vosim. i mean the whole spoon thing is literally just him stimming. like when he clinks them together & stuff. also i think he does the classic hand flapping & rocking back & forth. also i think he makes noises too, like a vvvvmmmm sound y'know. because he's a crunchy synthy voice :^3c also stares at bath bombs for hours at a time.

cider masks super hard most of the time. but he paces so much. SOOO MUCH PACING. like all the time. can't stand in one place for too long without getting antsy. also a hand flapper. i mean- how could you not be with 4 hands. also i think he messes with the wires that dangle from the extra arm things. i think he's the kind of dork to jump up & down when something makes him happy.

i'm pretty sure rotten "canonically" vocal stims by making those little clicky sounds. he's probably also pretty discreet with his stimming so he can seem all cool & tough. i think he also does a good amount of rocking, but a lot slower than vosim does. just a subtle thing. i also think he'd mess around with the collar of his jacket.

for saaaam :^D he would mostly just fidget with the cord on those headphones. & maybe the scarf too...

voder literally communicates through hissing noises. does that count as stimming? i dunno. i'll say it does.

First off is Blender, and for it we've decided on Kecleon!

(↑ It's usually green, but I'll get to why this one's purple in a minute)

Kecleon as you can see resembles a chameleon! They're known for turning invisible and kinda just. Blocking people's way XHZNZNCJC in the games you can get around em by using the Devon Scope, an item that specifically?? turns Kecleon visible. Like that's its only use. There be some specific ass machines in the world i guess JDSJZJDJDJD

In the Mystery Dungeon series, there are two Kecleon that run the town shops! They're known as the Kecleon brothers; one is the usual green, while the other is uniquely purple! NO FUCKING CLUE WHY THAT IS, there's NO explanation for it, purple isn't even these guys' shiny colour so JDKSKDFNFJD????

Kecleon is usually a normal type, but it can change types temporarily in battle! It's not the strongest Pokemon (... Unless you count mystery dungeon. that's a whole separate infodump though), but it's very unique!!

Second is Deadsprint, we have a couple in mind for him (Jolteon and Mega Manetric specifically, both because of their speed!), but we also have a third, funnier [lh] one in mind: Spoink!

Okay, so... Hear us out. Spoink's dex entries CONSTANTLY state that it HAS to keep bouncing or moving in some way or it will Literally Die. The death thing isn't true (otherwise it'd be Permanently Dead every time it faints dhsjsjxndfn) but. That made us laugh sorry. A bit fitting for someone who embodies the need to Move Constantly, we think? <:]

Spoink is a baby Pokemon so it also isn't the strongest, but its evolution, Grumpig, is pretty damn bulky! Both of them are psychic types too which is always a fun type to train in our opinion :3c

And, finally for today, 🏵️!

So... At first we kind of thought about Missingno? Missingno is technically not a Pokemon, rather an infamous glitch throughout the series, but... It acts like a Pokemon. Technically has an appearance like one too. But depending on the game you're playing it changes drastically in looks NFJSJDKF

Missingno is a very interesting Pokemon!!! It can be used to generate infinite amounts of items, catch any Pokemon you want if you manipulate the game right, hell you can catch it yourself and completely break the game with how overpowered it is! It's VERY fun to mess around with <22 <33 Missingno's like... An all powerful entity that shouldn't exist but does against all odds, y'know?

But as for ACTUAL Pokemon, one we thought would be fitting aesthetically is Solrock!

Solrock, despite the name and appearance, is not a fire type! It's rock/psychic, and its counterpart Lunatone is the same typing! :]

We thought it'd fit 🏵️ better than Missingno definitely but to our (very thought disordered and psychosis addled [lh]) brain we DID make some connections between 🏵️ and Missingno bUT ANYWAYS ONTO SOLROCK!

Solrock is a really neat concept!!! It balances out Lunatone and has the Sun And Moon™ Motif goin for it! According to its dex entries, it shines when it spins, and its Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl entries state that it's rumoured to be the avatar of the sun!

We trained one a long while ago and it kicked ass tbh 10 outta 10 will train again (tho we Are a bit more partial to Lunatone tbh. Tho u rlly can't separate them ig they rlly do balance each other out well Message cancelled. Why did our phone auto suggest I type baka instead of balance???)

Fun fact, Solrock was introduced in gen 3, and is one of the 7th gym leaders' star Pokemon! The 7th gym leaders, Tate and Liza, specialize in double battles, which is where Solrock shines (no pun intended)!

i'm quietly dying to know if u!buggy is present when robin translates the skypeian poneglyph & the note roger asked oden to leave on it. just. an amnesiac clown staring at this giant rock, too busy silently screaming what does it meeeean to hear robin explaining what it means. cracks me up.

(i also love the thought of there being a pattern of older locals recognizing buggy just a moment too late as 'one of the kids from back then'. i love a running gag that doubles as foreshadowing! though crocus would surely recognize buggy on sight, i bet he assumes buggy's being cryptic on purpose when he "pretends" not to know him, and goes along with it.)

i'd misremembered that conversation at shakky's bar as having only a handful of the strawhats present, and so was imagining that buggy had no idea they'd gotten a lead on his past, and rayleigh would only see buggy on the kizaru-kuma-strawhat battlefield for a minute before he gets kuma'd away… on one hand, i still love this idea bc i love pain. otoh that conversation happening with everyone but buggy present feels wrong. and a "don't tell me, i'll find out the truth for myself!" ending to rayleigh and buggy reuniting is so fitting, it's the same argument robin & luffy make to rayleigh in that scene!

i looove the thought of buggy losing track of luffy after marineford. what a situation he's in now!! surrounded by dozens of ex-prisoners who idolize him, maybe two he gets along with, a half-dozen he's terrified of, and shanks. he's heard stories from luffy, but that's luffy! you can't go to him for realism or accuracy!! but... this shanks guy does have a boat... and something about his face is kind of familiar...

how long does it take shanks to realize buggy acting like he doesn't know him isn't an act, i wonder? how many old grudges does shanks halfheartedly apologize for, trying to get buggy to give in and acknowledge him? is one of those apologies the thing that makes something click for buggy? does he freeze up, or immediately snap and shout at shanks bc he's misremembered why buggy was mad at him that time? :3c

I thought about that like once when I was thinking about Robin in the u! universe, but then i forgot and never really thought about it again lol. In my mind he comes along somewhere between East Blue and Alabasta, though if anyone wants to adopt this au, I'm fine with whatever interpretation or spin they want to put on it.

Now that you said it, I agree, it would be really fun if the locals recognize him randomly like "yeah, yeah, that was the red-nosed kid! Aw, he was so cute, we gotta live him! Pity he's not with his friend though, hope nothing bad happened to the other one..." And Buggy just going"ifk what you're talking about, you're being weird af" and everyone just assumes the other kid (shanks) died and it's a painful memory so they're all like "Oh, yes of course... our bad... if there's anything we can do to help you tell us, it's been so hard for you, we're so sorry ". Which confuses Buggy even more, but hey, he's getting positive attention, even if it's pity, and he's not going to complain about it.

Buggy meeting Rayleigh in the bar is so dear to me. Idk if it'd be realistic but I feel like he'd be very defensive qt first but then Rayleigh would be "Buggy? Is that you? I barely recognized you, you've grown so much, and become such a strong young man" and then something snaps and he just falls into his arms absolutely sobbing. He doesn't know why, he can't remember him on a conscious level, but they still jave this father/son moment of comfort.

I don't remember if I said this in the last post or if I thought of it now, but him losing Luffy at Marine Ford and clinging to Shanks for protection would be funnier (to me) if he goes by the logic of "Okay, he's scary, the generals are even scared of him, Luffy likes him and he seems fond of Luffy. He looks a bit familiar so idk if he would have some grudge with me if I've wronged him in some way... so I'm just going to use my contact with Luffy as leverage!" So he just starts going "You know Luffy, right? Well I'm in his crew" (which breaks Shanks's heart because... why isn't he in his crew? What did Luffy offer him that Shanks can't?? And why is he jealous of his child protege? Buggy sees he's a little upset by it so he continues "So if- if you're his friend and care for him, you'll take me and my men to safety... and not kill me.......... please."

And he switches from being sad to being so confused like,

Shanks: wdym I'll do it because of Luffy. I'm not helping you because of Luffy,

Buggy absolutely terrified that his one strategy of manipulating his one ticket to freedom has expired:..... wh.. why?

Shanks: I'm gonna help you because we're friends! You're my best friend Buggy!

Buggy: We are? I mean uh, we are.

Shanks assuming he remembers him and being do happy: So you remember me?

Buggy afraid if he says no, Shanks will get mad and leave him: ... yes.

Once in the ship (because the prisoners are so many) everyone sleeps wherever they can. Except for Buggy. Shanks insists on giving him his bed or at least his a place in his room. "We were bunkmates after all" he says but Buggy just smiles and nods hoping he doesn't find out he doesn't actually recognize him. Shanks can feel Buggy is on edge the entire time and he tries asking but Buggy always goes "No, no it's fine, everything's great haha" so he starts testing the waters by asking "hey do you remember *insert thing that never happened* that was so crazy, right?" To which Buggy'll go all "yeaaaah, absolutely haha, very crazy that happened I remember!" And after the third or fourth time Shanks couldn't take it and confronts him about it. Buggy is furious but also devastated because that's it. He's going to kill him now. Maybe even worse. (Keep in mind Buggy has seen how cruel people can be and his time with the straw hats doesn't help him think better of people, because they also keep bumping into horrible people)

He starts scream crying at him, he's already a deadman, what else does he have to lose, might as well let it all out. Meanwhile, Shanks is so confused because he understands absolutely nothing.

i think i can go over this without any spoilers past chapter 14! you have already seen her big arc and i am sooo happy people liked her <333

so! i've never mentioned this to anyone before, but kitty is a bit of a riff off of one of my oldest OCs. when i was about 18, i was big into katekyo hitman reborn, mostly because i was even bigger into organized crime as a general topic. catalena foggia was the youngest of four, and after a rival family took out her parents and all three of her older brothers (you know, the sort of backstory you give people as a teenager) she very grimly stepped up to the throne.

now whenever i need a female character with a "hello, i Run This Place" air about her, my mind goes to catalena, who of course was called cat by all her friends.

and i knew that i wanted a character like that as klavier's manager. generally, whenever i get to make OCs for my aa fics, i try to make most of them women if they aren't already implied to be men by canon like the rest of the gavinners, since aa refuses to have adult female characters that don't die. the gavinners started out as a bunch of teenage guys, the music industry is tough as nails, LA is horrible..... nobody but cat could've done it, man.

the whole dutch connection sort of happened on the fly. i knew i didn't want to call her catalena foggia, even if nobody but, like, the two irl friends i still have who knew me at 18 lol, knew of that oc. it was still important to me to differentiate, because this wasn't cat, this was a new oc who was very similar to and inspired by her. i remembered that kitty is a valid first name, so i went for that, because i like to think i'm funny. :^)

once you reach the end of exorcism, you'll find a little gdoc with bonus content i left in the end notes there, which among other things contains explanations for all the pun names i've used in the fic. including kitty's, but i'll reiterate here: the reason i stuck with a cat theme was that klavier gavin, in my mind, is absolutely a golden retriever, so i wanted to give him a manager/babysitter who is a cat. a big cat. kitty is short in stature, but i mention her lion's mane of hair often enough in the text, so, u know.
