If Anne and Shalle weren’t so set in stone as the main couple of this series, I think Keith would be a very good match with her.

He respects her, looks out for her, encourages her.

He treats Anne as she wants to be treated as an artisan, shares her core values and despite them being rivals, they are also good friends.

Which just kinda makes this more painful to watch cuz even if/when Keith does develop feelings for her later on (if he hasn’t begun to already), the plot won’t allow Anne’s heart to wander too far to look at other choices
