#Gwennifer my favoriet beast#I don't expect to use her much but I'll make a tag#gwen#The lore of werewolves in this setting was that the curse attempts to mold a human body into a perfect wolf shape#and a lucky few werewolves actually do just turn into normal wolves but the majority become some midpoint between the two and/or#their bodies may grow additional parts instead of properly changing#And the first time they ever shift provides a blueprint for all remaining shifts so if you have a traumatic or interrupted first shift it's#likely to go weird and you're stuck like that from then on#The shift also takes tremendous amounts of energy and a freshly shifted werewolf is usually starving and hangry so they#do kill and eat wjhatevers nearby a lot of the time#the setting had some loose lore but it was mostly just irl with lite magic
