HOWEVER, he's not gonna keep her in the basement forever ofc, his biggest advantage is his cloak that hides her presence so he can totally take her out on dates with the cloak on her so she won't ever go stir-crazy

you know how the cover-up is that beelzebub's trying to find ways to safely ascend her??? welp, in this au, he's gonna straight up ascend her the second she's handed over to him. HOWEVER!!!! not right away 😈 since their first meeting happens when poseidon still isn't fond of her, beelie's gonna take advantage of it and make a deal with poseidon "i'll find a way to safely ascend your daughter, but in exchange, i wish for her hand in marriage" and naturally, poseidon would (eventually) approve because why wouldn't he? he doesn't want a filthy half-breed for a child and beelzebub IS almost as perfect as him; he's powerful, looks down on humans and other gods, doesn't rely on anyone, etc. etc, he wouldn't mind having him as a son-in-law. so poseidon accepts the deal, percy is (forcefully) ascended, and with her father's approval, is eternally bound to beelzebub through marriage AND the contract her father signed

apollo WON'T try to kidnap percy this time lmao!!! he's gonna ascend to midgard and see her poking her out of the seas and be like "hi there 😍 whatcha dooooing???" and she's gonna be like "oh, hi, i was just looking for new york, but i think this is greece, so imma just go" and then he'll be like "oh i can take you to new york!!!!!!" and even tho he cant stand the filthy city, he happily takes her there (and since their first meeting happens BEFORE the beelcy date, that means apollo just unknowingly snatched beel's chance of taking her to new york LMAO). obviously, poseidon finds out, loses his shit, and tries to kill apollo but percy defends him, this time more fiercely because of how much she enjoyed spending time with him. anyway, this is SUPER good for him because this definitely gave her a better first impression of him compared to the og timeline 😂

anubis first meets percy during mimir's funeral and he takes advantage of percy's adoration for kids, so what does he do??? summon kebi after the funeral, gives her a handful of flowers and says "see that pretty girl over there strangling Loki? give her these flowers and call her pretty! 🥰" and obviously she does it and percy melts and because she's nice, assumes she's lost and helps her find her daddy. kebi purposely walks all over the place, using this time to lay out their babie charms to win percy over and then when some time passes, anubis comes running over like "omg 😱😱 kebi, there you are i've been looking everywhere 😱😱 oh wow, who's this pretty princess with you?? 🥰". he cemented a pretty damn good first impression cuz now she equates him to "good dad". and when they run into each other again in helheim, he tricks her into a marriage and THIS TIME, doesn't waste time in mating her to make her PERMANENTLY his 😍

with loki AND percy, you best believe they're gonna somehow become INTERNATIONALLY WANTED CRIMINALS within the first hour of being isekai-ed 😭😭 usually loki would be entertained, but he's twelve years old, not a god, and monsters are trying to kill the love of his life (who is also now twelve). percy is desperately trying to get this man to go on ahead without her for his own safety but he is NOT splitting up with his girl!!!!! he also doesn't want her to go to camp cuz that's where all the attention-hogging "inferiors" are and he doesn't want them trying to take percy away.... but the monsters won't stop and camp is the only safe haven for her, so he grits his teeth and goes with her because he doesn't want her dead.

anubis is excited!!!! sure he's not happy to lose his divinity and look like a 12 year old, but percy's 12 too and omgggg she just looks soooooo cute 🥺🥺🥺🥺 he wishes kebi were here so all three of them can just run around new york and have playdates everyday, but then reality HARSHLY smacks him in the face when the first monster attack happens and he can't protect percy as well as he'd like. now he's no longer smiling and he's been reduced to a paranoid mess while percy tries to comfort him and get to camp. she'll also suggest that maybe they split up because of how dangerous it'd be for him if he stuck with her but he gets flashbacks of that one time percy ditched him and loses his shit 💀

with cú chulainn, it wouldn't be that different from the previous asks, the only difference is that percy would be sassier and more annoying to him because she knows full well who is he is 😂 but anyway, unlike the gods, he has no issues protecting percy because his body's not that different, just de-aged, so he's not being weakened by mental breakdowns like the gods are from losing their divinity LMAO. anyway, he refuses to let her go to camp cuz he thinks the place is stupid anyway and why would you wanna go there and be sent to numerous quests and a war??? he knows she hates always having to fight, but he'll get pissed when he finds out its cuz she misses her loved ones. they get into an argument, break split up and percy heads to camp while he eventually goes after her to make sure she makes it there safely while also trying to find a way to get them back home

Chapter Seven - How It's Always Been

    Ugh. You need a bath yourself. Once he was in his room with the door closed. You took the opportunity of the empty inn to prepare your own bath.

    The warm water felt so amazing. You can't remember the last time you were able to enjoy a bath without having to rush to prepare something for someone. You closed your eyes and let your mind wander. Caspian in the room next door, in the bath... his long wet hair falling over his face... You recalled the image of his lower abdomen peeking under his lifted shirt. Him telling you not to argue... forcing you to obey...

    Would he become more forceful if you behaved more stubbornly? "I might test that" you thought to yourself. See how far you can push him. When he slammed his hand on the table...the passion in his voice...wait. Did you want to see him angry? What is wrong with you?

You opened your eyes, and scolded yourself. He doesn't need you to make his life more difficult.

    But the way his eyes darkened when he spoke about the Calormene... an involuntary shiver ran down your spine. Your hand began to wander up your thigh...

"No." You said quietly to yourself, and moved your hand away. Anyone could be back any minute. 

    You finished up, got dressed, and just for good measure sprayed on some of your mother's perfume. Just a note of lilac. 

You were dumping out the water when Sis came running up.

"There you are." You greeted her.

"Where have you been?"

"Oh Mrs. Genova took me shopping! Look at what she bought me!"

She pulled a pretty blue dress out of her basket. 

"She said it was a 'thank you' gift for helping her run errands."

"Oh wow, she really didn't need to do that..." You felt a bit awkward. It was a very nice gift. 

"I know. I told her that. But she said she didn't have grandkids of her own so she wanted to treat me like one. But we also got you something."

"What?! Why?"

"Because I didn't want you to feel left out. Plus the dress shop said they'd price it down if we bought two, so... here! "

She handed you a package wrapped in twine. You opened it to see a stunning green dress with black and silver lace framing the corset style top. 

"Sis. I... It's beautiful." 

You were at a loss for words. 

"This looks way too expensive though... we have to take it back tomorrow."

"Mrs. Genova said I earned them. She also said you deserved something nice. And I agree. "

    You gave her a huge hug. Never in your wildest dreams did you ever imagine owning a dress this beautiful. You'll have to thank Mrs. Genova profusely next time you see her. 

"Why do you smell so nice?" Sis asked as you guided her back inside.

"As opposed to normally?" You laughed.

"Well yea," she laughed "you normally smell ok, but today you smell REALLY good."

" I used some of mother's perfume after my bath today. "

" Oooohhhh. Whyyyy?" She taunted.

" Because I felt like it. " 

" Yea right. You did it for King Caspian. "

You blushed. 

" What makes you say that? "

"Oh come on. I saw how you guys were acting last night."

" You're imagining things. " 

" Am not. "

" Are too. And since when do you notice things like that anyway? "

" I notice a lot of things. " She responded proudly. " Like Sir Tavros always flicks his ears when he eats something he thinks is really yummy."

You laughed, " really? "

" Mhm. And you put your hands on your hips when you're trying to concentrate. "

" Do I? "

" And Reva from down the street sneezes twice in a row whenever she goes outside for the first time."

"Ok, ok. You proved your point." You laughed. "Wow. Next time I need some spying done I'll ask you. "

" Oh! One more. " 

" Ok, one more. "

" King Caspian looks at you, a lot, when he thinks you're not looking. "

    Once inside you sent her to hang up your dresses in the bedroom. You couldn't imagine when you would ever wear it but, it'll be nice to look at at least. 

    You realized Caspian had still not come out of his room. You battled with your instinct to check on him. "He probably wants privacy after being surrounded by people for over a year" you tell yourself. But you would also be in a lot of trouble if the King fell and hurt himself...or something worse...on your watch. 

You decided to knock and just check...

"Uhm. Your Majesty? I was just checking to make sure you were alright..." You called through the door.

The latch moved and the door opened.

He stood there, his wet hair dripping water which ran down his bare chest. He wore his pants, loosely laced, but nothing else.

His arm reached up to lean against the top of the doorframe. 

"Oh." You gasped and felt your face turn red. You averted your eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you."

He smiled down at you. "Not at all."

"You were just... in there quite a while... and I just wanted to see if you needed anything... make sure you didn't drown or...something..." you stammered.

"I'd be a poor sailor if I drowned in a copper tub after being at sea for a year." He chuckled. "I actually dozed off in the bath. There is a scent in this room that is just...very relaxing." He looked back into the room, as if trying to find he smell. "I couldn't help myself."

"Oh, yes," you still couldn't look directly at him, "that's the eucalyptus. It grows everywhere on this part of the island."

"Mmm." He thought aloud, "We must be sure to take some back with us."

"I'll... let you finish getting dressed then?" You're not sure why you asked...as if he would invite you in to watch.

"You're very sweet to check on me, thank you. I will be out shortly." He smiled. You nodded while looking down, and hurriedly walked back down the hall. You heard the door latch closed behind you. 

You barely reached the end of the hall before Sis popped out of your bedroom.

"TOLD YOU." She mocked and folded her arms across her chest. 

"Shut up." You murmured, and went into the kitchen. 

She followed.

"You never check on ME when I take too long in the bath."

"That's because I enjoy my alone time and want you to take forever." You teased while preparing some lunch.

"Orrrrr it's because you liiiike him."

"OR it's because I don't want anything to happen to the KING while he's in our inn."

"When you get married, that'll make me a princess."

"IF I get married, it will be to a man on OUR island who is unassuming and ordinary. Just like everyone else around here."

You sighed. "Here, go set this on the table." You handed her a platter of meats, cheeses, and bread. 

"Why can't you admit he's handsome, and you like him?" She half whined as she took the tray.

"Because, nothing can come of it." You prepared another tray with a pitcher of mead and mugs.

"Soooo there is something to admit then?" She smiled up at you.

"No." You grabbed her shoulders and turned her around. "Go." You gave her a gentle push towards the table. 

You followed with the tray of drinks.

"Ok. ok. So if there WAS something to admit, why could nothing come of it? I thought if two adults liked each other, they could get married."

You sighed again. "I wish is was that simple." You placed the tray on the table. "You have to understand, there are different stations in life, for adults."

She placed hers down as well, and sat on the long bench opposite of you. Then waited silently for you to continue.

"You know there are royals, and nobles, like the King and his Knights, yes?"

She nodded.

"Then there are...lower classes...commoners. That's us. The adults from the upper classes, have to marry other adults from the upper classes. And adults from the lower classes, marry others from their same class. Understand?"

"Kind of...." she scrunched up her face, thinking very hard. "but... why?"

"It's just the rules." You shrugged. "How it's always been."

"That's kind of dumb..." 

You laughed. "Maybe. But it's not really our place to question it. Plus we have waaay more important things to worry about."

"Like what?"

"Well, like I was thinking of baking a pie to go after dinner tonight. But I have no idea what kind of pie the boys would like..."

Her face lit up.

" Blueberry!" 

"And cream?" you smiled.

"Oh YES!" she jumped up. 

"Can I go pick them?!?!"

You laughed again. "Sure."

"Can I ask Reva if she wants to come?"

"Sounds great. Just make sure you start heading back before it starts to get dark." You gave her a knowing look. 

"oookaaayy." she smiled. She ran into the room to get her cloak, and you went into the kitchen to grab a basket. 

    You handed it to her, and stood at the doorway to watch her go down the street and ask her friend to come blueberry picking with her. 

Seeing her able to enjoy a normal childhood made you happier than you thought it would. Things you were afraid she would never get to experience. You owe it all to King Caspian and his men.

"Did I hear something about blueberry pie?" A voice came from behind you, and made you jump.

"SHIT." You placed you hand over your heart. "You SCARED me."

He laughed out loud. "I'm so sorry."

You gave him a little glare. "I have a feeling you did it on purpose."

Still laughing, he shook his head. "Really, I thought you knew I was standing here." 

"Were you there the whole time?"

"Not the whole time, I had just emerged from my quarters about the point where you told Sisni 'you had more important things to worry about'. And of course, when I heard 'pie' I had to come out and investigate."

You giggled softly. "I hoped it would be a surprise." 

"It still will be. May I help with anything around here?" 

You were surprised by the offer.

"Oh... no. Thank you. I've left some lunch out for you and your men. I assumed you would have plans to make. I just need to step out and do some laundry."

"May I join you?"

"To...do laundry???"

"If you'll allow me." He laughed at your confusion. "I want to go out and experience your island for myself, as it is for you in the day to day. See how I can improve things for you all. Plus, I like to keep my hands busy."

"Uhm. Yea...sure? If you really want to?"

"As long as I am not bothering you."

"No, no. The company would be nice I just...didn't think anyone would ever want to do laundry..." you chuckled.

"Only when it is in your company." He smiled.

These are headcanons on various characters' haircare routines because I recently changed mine, and it doesn't get talked about often.

Guzma - This motherfucker uses 5-in-1 soap and somehow still has fluffy af hair. - His hair should not be that fluffy and soft - He smells nice at least but whyyyy - Occasionally runs a brush through his hair but will mostly just finger comb it.

Ingo & Emmet - Has Shampoo and Conditioner like normal people - They share so they have restock more often than most people. - Softly masculine scented soaps. They work in a public area so their soaps can't be too overpowering. No one likes dealing with someone who smells super strongly of something. - Those sideburns need love too so they probably use beard oil or some other kind of special treatment for them. - A pair of nice smelling boys

Laventon - Funnily enough, he makes his own soap! - He learned how to make it from his Mother before he moved to Hisui - He smells like Lavender and yes he knows how funny that is. He just so happens to really like the smell and it's calming. He's a nervous man and needs all the calming things. - He makes it in bulk so, of course, you can have some too. - He brushes his hair regularly but then covers it with that hat.

Piers - This man has a tote bag of hair care products. You cannot convince me otherwise. You cannot tell me he has such long luscious hair and doesn't use a crap ton of products to keep it nice. - Haircare stuff is the one thing he splurges on. Most of his money goes to Spikemuth and raising Marnie. Hair stuff is his one luxury. - Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner and Anti-frizz spray are just the tip of the iceberg. - He has had to buy multiple hairdryers before finding one that doesn't die on him after a month. He refuses to buy from any other brand now. - He has to make sure all of his products smell the same or are complimentary or else he'd just smell like the hair care aisle. - He's broken so many brushes and hair ties in that hair of his. It's ravenous for them. - If you're close enough to him he'll let you touch his hair and it's soft af.

Sycamore - Also very particular about his hair care routine. - Only the fanciest and nicest smelling products for him, please. - Shampoo and Conditioner and Hair gel - Not a lot of hair gel, he isn't a heathen. He doesn't want crispy hair. - He smells nice and fresh, maybe mint or cedar wood? - One of the only people on the list to use a hair curler.

Let's be honest, I saw It 2017 only bc of James McAvoy in the second chapter and I found it boring. And then the second part I found more like a comedy than horror. I didn't like films that time but I liked characters (Richie). Some weeks ago I rewathed both It 2017 and It 2019 and second one is still too long and a comedy but first I found interesting

So remake is great at least on the second time watching and that's enough
