My doctor warned me that, even though he would be perfectly happy to perform a hysterectomy if that's what I decide, and he would gladly do it today, no problem, the insurance company probably won't cover it until we prove to them we've tried a million other things first. He submitted the request just to start a paper trail, and guess what

There's a whole list of reasons. The one that's getting me the most is, they want my uterine lining to be tested to rule out other disorders. And I'm like.... if there's a disorder in my uterus. Taking out my uterus will solve it. In one go. and save your company so much money. But sure, if you want to pay for several procedures and tests and treatments first, be my fuckin guest. 👍

As my doctor predicted, another reason for the denial is that my iron levels are acceptable. He had me get a blood draw before I left the office on our first meeting, saying if I were anemic, the insurance company is more likely to approve all surgeries without further requirements. And then called me with the results, "Bad news, your iron is fine!" So the next time I'm due for a full blood count, I'll just stop taking my iron supplement for a few days and we'll see what happens. 👍

The other thing that is the most frustrating I think, is that all the other things they want are time consuming and invasive. They can't just take my word for it, not when there's a UTERUS on the line! A Uterus that would be incapable of carrying a pregnancy to term, because of the fibroids, which are the reason I want it taken out. I can't possibly know what's good for me, so just keep sticking a camera up my vagina until you agree with me. 👍

asdghj Power went out TWICE trying to work on this. Anyways some panels of 3/14+ AUs I have. Long story short:

MS is what I draw because I can't pull off drawing canon Emmet. He also has some little changes and hcs so even though he's not from a proper AU, I figured I should introduce the guy I've been drawing for the past two weeks

Stelleret has already been drawn and written about for day 10, this version is post ending. Emmet ends up getting his human body and Ingo back after all is said and done but spending over half a decade as a monster kinda fucks you up so he struggles with knowing who he is and how other people see him

Burst V.2 is the version of Burst AU where Emmet gets help from Celebi. This version is from the midpoint in the story. I have other posts about this for more info, but this is basically Emmet before anything major in Hisui

Severed V.2 aka the Bad Ending, this is the version where seeing the rift + Ingo getting dismembered makes him go crazy. In an attempt to keep what is left of Ingo alive, he does some DIY transplant surgery with the help of his pokemon and a foul amount of medication. He buries his own arm in the backyard and waits for Ingo to come back so he can "return" his arm. He also has frequent auditory/visual hallucinations of Ingo. This version is from early in the story and is generally more destructive
