I just keep thinking about the way ford purposely drove a wedge in dipper and mabel's friendship because he projected his and stan's issues onto them
#i think part of it was also that ford was so so so desperate for any kind of human interaction (after having been deprived of it for 30#years) and praise (after seldom recieving it his entire life) the he just instantly latched on to dipper as someone who Wont Leave#yes it was incredibly stupid and short-sighted and selfish for ford to do that#asking 'isnt it suffocating?' in regards to helping mabel?
