I get why people have an issue with fic competitions and why they can be demoralizing.

But you're taking it to the extreme if you're throwing a fit over not being included on someone's personal rec list.

People get asked all the time for blog recs, art recs, fic recs, etc. They can never include everything that's been created in the history of fucking fandom. They throw out a few they personally love and enjoy, the person who asked is grateful, and everyone goes about their business.

Only the LS fandom would legitimately turn this into something to cry about.
