this just in that ttrpg actual play you keep posting about is run by people who are not you, playing character that are teenagers and not you, and fighting npcs that are not you.
wow the bad kids have morals and flaws you think are bad, they are well rounded fictional characters in an absurd .
wow the rat grinders have redeeming qualities and you personally have the hope they are redeemed. cool write an au or your own story, but this is not your story.
wow the IH or BLeeM made a choice you disagree with, these are really people who are telling a specific story/have different morals than you/are human and might say the wrong things/comedians. you are engaging in a parasocial relationship with people you do not know. you can critique a choice they made but don't make it about their character or their ability to play their own character that they have made.
wow the dice/tv style season/set/game system made x thing happen which i found narratively unsatisfactory. thats what Dimension 20 is. like you can complain about it but you knew it was a twenty episode dnd actual play with an emphasis on battles and sets going in.
basically, before you make some post about fhjy (or any media) remind yourself what type of media are consuming and why the story might be going that way. it being different than how you imaged is not a flaw on the creators part
#like this has been going on since the being with how ally played Kristen#and they did a great job I think kristens arc was relatable#and yeah maybe they won't get to every narrative point and tie everything up at the end#but its a game first#not a novel#the whole thing is improved#trg are imo okay but I can't argue that they are manipulated teens#but we're watching fantasy high where kids die#lots of people due#the bad kids have killed so many people#including children#its just like know the media you are consuming ig#fhjy#fhjy spoilers#dimension 20#fantasy high#fantasy high junior year#d20#d20 fhjy#fantasy high spoilers#dimension 20 fhjy#intrepid heroes#brennan lee mulligan#the rat grinders#mine

INTERVIEW WITH A WRITEBLR — @jezifster
Who You Are:
Astro || He/him
I'm Astro, I'm a trans guy, I'm 24 and native American, I have ADHD and it's a dragon I'm either riding or fighting.
What You Write:
What genres do you write in? What age ranges do you write for?
Action, comedy, fantasy, paranormal, and romance. New adult.
What genre would you write in for the rest of your life, if you could? What about that genre appeals to you?
Romance probably. It's the constant in all my WIPs. I'm corny and I enjoy it, I love to see a couple (or a few) people trying to die for each other. That first kiss is one of my favorite scenes to write. I just love seeing what people in love will do for each other and to each other. It's cute, it's devastating, it's hot.
What genre/s will you not write unless you HAVE to? What about that genre turns you off?
High fantasy. I'm not into worldbuilding, so most of my stories are set in the real world with fantasy elements. I also don't think I could write royalty stories. I think they're neat, but I just much prefer the perspective of the grungy street rat.
Who is your target audience? Do you think anyone outside of that would get anything out of your works?
People who like violence and sex and drugs and anti-authoritarian themes. I think some people do read for my characters, without necessarily loving all the darker topics, and there's always a message that I think would resonate with everyone in my writing. Mainly that those in power don't give a f*ck about those under them and you should tear them down.
What kind of themes do you tend to focus on? What kinds of tropes? What about them appeals to you?
Anti-authoritarian is definitely a big one. Kill God, fight the government, question the system around you. Are monsters actually the monsters and don't heroes just uphold the status quo? I think I channel a lot of my feelings about the real world into my WIPs. I love a lot of tropes, especially the romance ones. Enemies to friends/lovers is so fun. Corruption arcs. ADHD x Autistic pairings is something that's so special to me.
What themes or tropes can you not stand? What about them turn you off?
The main one is the main character being too good of a person. I don't think it's bad, but I love when they get dark. Like yeah pull the trigger, the villain deserves it. Don't be upfront about your feelings and let them rot instead until you do something you regret. I think it's just way more interesting to read.
What are you currently working on? How long have you been working on it?
Bones and Bullet is my focus right now. I've been writing it off and on since I was 13 so I'm on year 11. I really like how it's turning out this time and I know more about the politics and espionage so plotting is a lot easier.
Why do you write? What keeps you writing?
I'm mad at the world and that's part of it. But mainly it's just a lot of fun. I have a blast watching my characters do wild stuff in my head, and I love entertaining others but I've always been the best at doing that through writing.
How long have you been writing? What do you think first drew you to it?
Since I was 8 or 9? I loved reading and I read The Lottery and felt so gut-punched by it I was like… I gotta do that to someone.
Where do you get your inspiration from? Is that how you got your inspiration for your current project? If not, where did the inspiration come from?
The state of the world is a big one. I don't think there's a god but if there is, then why are they letting things happen the way they are? I can make that character and actually ask. For my current project, I really liked action movies as a kid. Especially the really wild ones like the Mission Impossible series. Ghost Protocol where Tom Cruise is suction cupping outside the Burj Khalifa? That changed me. And then later I understood more about politics and the themes of songs like Born in The USA and I was like oh we're not the good guys, so my Agents aren't technically agents anymore, but exploited and discarded ex-agents who are permanently changed by what they went through.
What work of yours are you most proud of? Why?
Bones and Bullet for sure. I think the plot really works and I've always struggled with that, but I'm so excited for the climax of the first book. Plus Shadow and Veronica are characters that I really know very well and I think it shows.
Have you published anything? Do you want to?
No, I just post online. I don't want to do traditional publishing and I'd probably just make my finished project available online and printed independently if people wanted a hard copy.
What part of the publishing process most appeals to you? What part least appeals to you?
None of it appeals to me. Editors scare me, I struggle with constructive criticism, I do not think I could handle a negative review. So that's why I'd make my stuff available for free. Why would someone complain about something free? I would judge them for it instead of taking it personally.
What part of the writing process most appeals to you? What part is least appealing?
I love learning more about my characters. They really become so well fleshed out that they seem like their own people making their own decisions. I just manage the outside influences. The least appealing is the tedious. Keeping track of dates, or names of minor characters, worldbuilding a fantasy transportation system. I just much prefer the people part of it.
Do you have a writing process? Do you have an ideal setup? Do you write in pure chaos? Talk about your process a bit.
Oh it's pure chaos. I plan a lot of scenes while I'm driving in the car listening to music. I write random scenes on my phone, chapters on my laptop. I write when I'm overcome with the urge to, and I don't force it if I'm not. I usually write laying on the couch with my laptop or phone.
Your Thoughts on Writeblr:
How long have you been a writeblr? What inspired you to join the community?
I can't remember exactly but it's been over a year. I initially joined Wattpad but I didn't like some things I'd heard about it. And someone on there recommended tumblr. I've always liked tumblr but never was a part of the creative side.
Shout out some of your favorite writeblrs. How did you find them and what made you want to follow them?
I always follow people who have cool projects, and sometimes they follow me back and we start talking. It's a blast. I have a lot of favorites and I know I'm going to miss someone but @calicojackofficial, @vacantgodling, @multi-lefaiye, @addisons-damn-dialogue, @written-in-gold, @mrnauseam, and @kingkendrick7 are all super cool creators who are a lot of fun to talk to.
What is your favorite part about writeblr?
That you can do whatever you want here pretty much. It's not Twitter or tiktok and that's a good thing. It feels real.
What do you think writeblr could improve on? How do you think we can go about doing so?
I think there should be a way to engage more with readers. It's always nice to get feedback from other writers, but I know there are people who aren't writers but are mainly readers who would like to follow writblr projects who have no idea that's an option.
How do you contribute to the writeblr community? Do you think you could be doing more?
I try to read and reblog when I can. I like to participate in ask games. My dms and asks are always open for rambling at me about projects in. I would like to do more but my mental focus has been struggling lately due to life stuff so once I get that sorted out I'll be more reliable.
What kinds of posts do you most like to interact with?
Character posts are a lot of fun. I love seeing art and moodboards too. Ask games are a blast. Excerpts, of course.
What kind of posts do you most like to make?
I like to share the weirder lines I write as short excerpts. I also enjoy making ask games and full chapters.
Finally, anywhere else online we may be able to find you?
Discord in my pinned. I have an instagram and Twitter but I don't use them really.
Questions For Fun:
1. Got a favorite pairing, either in your work or in someone else's? What about it makes it your favorite?
What is the weirdest line you've wrote? What inspired it?
Some that come to the top of my head are Gwaine and Asher by @calicojackofficial , Hector and Ari by @written-in-gold and @addisonsdamndialogue, and Hya and Amon by @vacantgodling . All very fun couples with fantastic dynamics. It's hard to choose between my own pairings, but Shadow and Veronica have such a special place in my heart. They've known each other since childhood, fight a lot, know way too much about each other, act like they're divorced, but ultimately are incredibly loyal to each other. I have such a hard time deciding if I ship them more as friends or romantically.
"Oh, the sexy but fragile human body, boo hoo, you're hot, walk it off, have a potato, since you're so fond of them."
If your writing was a plant, what plant would it be and why?
It's a scene with Gabe and Satan from Rarely Reverie. Gabe is mad because Satan accidentally shot him. Satan is both flirting with him and annoyed that he's being blamed for it. They're just a lot of fun to write together because they're at odds a lot but have excellent chemistry.
Well I write a lot of stoner characters so I've got to say weed. Cannibis Sativa since there's a lot of action scenes.

Idk if you've been asked this before but what would you like to see more of in IF genre wise and RO wise. Are there any tropes you wish were more prevalent or genres?
i may have? [i think so!] but thoughts change. so it's all good in the hood.
My response to the first one would always be more diversity. More characters of color, more characters of different ethnicities, variety in body types. More characters with disabilities. More short male and nonbinary ROs. More amazonian female and nonbinary ROs.
I've seen some improvement in body types, at least from the recent IFs I've been eyeing, especially when the ROs don't have pictures but more is always great.
As for TYPES:
For IFs:
I'm a historical romance fan, so I would love to see more of those. In general. I don't mean in a magical world [though I will get that to it], but slice of life during the Harlem Jazz Era, murder mystery in Japan in the 1930s, etc. And if you MUST, must, must do it in a European setting [nothing wrong with that, I love a good Regency romance], there is no reason for it to be all white. Or even entirely white. 1- I don't care about historical inaccuracies [half the time people get corsets and medical stuff wrong anyway] 2- if you MUST be accurate, do your research.
Though, I do love fantastical/sci-fi in historical settings. And I don't mean aliens made the pyramids [don't try it]! More like a Victorian era IF making influence of the steampunk genre [which go hand in hand]. Or netflix's taking zombies and putting them in ancient Korea [is it Korea? I don't watch those shows]. Give me elves in the Mayan empire. Or maybe something like where people advanced tech-wise but the social mores are very Regency. "Urban" Fantasy in Imperial China. Werewolves vs Vampires but make them Vikings.
More isekai IFs. Both in how they do it in manga/manhwa but also like a Kid In King Arthur's court, kind of vibe. You're not Alice but you're in Wonderland.
I love the slices of life coming out. Particularly the ones that are inspired by shows. I want more of that! Maybe even films.
I want more witches and werewolves. That is it. Separate. Together. Any era. I want them.
I also want more stories with the Fae. Changelings and hobgoblins and The Hunt. Tam Lin and kelpies and trades. The nightmarish stuff.
More stories about second chances in life, especially for older characters.
Um. I had more thoughts but I've lost them.
ROs.
Second chance! But something like you and your ex got a divorce, but there are kids [hi thicker than!]. Or the one who got away in high school/college [hi dropout!]. I don't want fresh feelings being washed out [though that's nice]. I want scratching at old scabs. I want you thought these feelings were dead but they're back. Or they did die, but now we're different people and -- oh, hello ... again?
Speaking of second chance. I would like more ROs who have pasts. Lost loves. Heartbreaks. Mistakes they've made and they're trying again.
Tired of alpha men. More 'alphas' of other genders.
I want ROs who are messes. And not in the shy, awk introvert~ Who is sometimes klutzy but its cute! I mean someone who thinks they're good with people but is actually a disaster. Characters who are angry. And mourning. And have their own issues that make them imperfect. That also won;t be solved just because MC is there.
This.
This.
Friends to Lovers to Enemies to Friends and then Lovers again.
Enemies to Enemies with Benefits to Grudging Friends to Bickering Lovers.
Older ROs.
MORE FAKE DATING/MARRIAGE PLEASE!
A King and a Lionheart. But make it dark.
And my all time fave: this right here.
#anon#grapecase answers#long post#thanks for the ask anon#i sorta smooshed relationship tropes with type of ros i want#i expanded my brain on types of IFs#idk if i have types of ros i want to see more of other than older and more characters of color#i think if i were to do types i might have to focus on a specific genre#liike what i want from slice of life ros. what i want to see in urban fantasy ros. etc#i will say more personalities for e. asian ros that isn't shy/awk or cold and stoic. and more personaliies for black ros that isn't#the soft and supportive bff#im sleepy i will ponder tho.#honestly my shipping tropes/ship inspo tags could give you a great picture#but this gives me so much food for thought anon#so thanks <3 :-D

,,,I hope you dont mind me adding my thoughts but I feel like I have to disagree?
like, objectively, yeah, you're right about Simon & his circumstances & the world of the show. ,,,but that's also what adventure time is. a show. a cartoon, at that. it was a kids show, meant for kids to see themselves or their friends or their families in (i know many people who were in love with simon & marceline's plotline as kids because they had family members with dementia or something similar). and we were all kids when we watched it and now all we're a little older and it's grown up a little more, too.
it's still... a TV show. it's its own fictional story but parts of it are meant to symbolize real life and speak to the audience in that way. like in varmints– yeah, the objective heavy overarching plot there is that bubblegums lost everything she worked so hard for and spent her entire life building up with her own two hands, and yeah losing your kingdom to some douchebag guy is not exactly something anyone in reality is gonna relate to. but when she outright says that she "pushed everyone away" and that "if [she] shut everything out and just focused on work it would all be okay." and at the end when she says she's crazy tired, and has been for a long time...... that's something an audience can understand. the overworking, from school or actual work or even just hobbies, the exhaustion and the lonliness she caused herself, that's what we're supposed to be able to relate to.
it's a fantasy world, and so the stakes are gonna be tremendously high in a way they literally just cant be in reality. yes, there's a giant weight to the fact that simon spend millenia literally losing himself and everyone he's ever loved. ,,,,when you connect that to what is almost explicitly real-world depression, it's not 'whittling down his character'- it's interpreting the show and characters in your own way through your lense, which is.... what you are supposed to do with shows.
saying that simon is depressed or even suicidal isnt a disservice to his character at all, even in the fionna campbell intro she casually mentions wanting to die, and has trouble getting out of bed. and simon has a lot of trouble smiling and making it convincing, and even finn tries using real-life mental health methods to help him (keeping him distracted and such) (even if they dont work).
it just feels like in a show where its shown over and over again that simons experiences are affecting his mental health negatively,,,, its weird to think that relating to that experience or putting a word on it is somehow like. bad. or missing the point of the show.
It shouldn't be that serious but I haaate people summarizing Simon and his struggles in Fionna and Cake as the symptoms of one mental illness or another. Like, his struggle with being content now that he's Simon again echo depression and he very well may have it. The way I've seen some people examine his character and conflict through a pathological lens, though, just picks out what words and actions they can diagnose as some documented and studied condition. They divorce his character and conflict from his setting, his time as the Ice King, and how he fits in the extended narrative of Adventure Time.
Simon is a pre-mushroom bomb era human in a post-mushroom bomb world. The people he knew, the surroundings he's come to understand, and the life trajectory he had going are all long gone. He's come to in a new society where things function in much more fantastical, irrational, and advanced ways. He's been a part of this society- even shaping it- as the Ice King, and now he must continue playing into the happenings of Ooo as Simon Petrikov. The new civilizations are alien, the new Earth functions by new social and natural laws, and he has the remains of new life that disgusts, horrifies, and humiliates him.
Simon spent almost a thousand years as a man stripped of his former values, dignity, and cognisance. As the Ice King, he lost his ability to control himself, and inflicted what would accumulate to be significant harm unto others. He learned how to get along with others by the end of his time as the Ice King, but those years were a blip in the span of a near millennium, and the degree of self-control he learned was basic decency. Simon spent his life before the mushroom bomb developing to be a composed and academic man, and endured having his antecedent personal growth and his own autonomy regarding his identity nullified by the ice crown.
Adventure time is a fantasy show that explores the consequences of the endless possibilities inherent to a fantastical setting. Powerful magic and magical existences destroy and ruin lives, abundances of mystical organisms amount to exhausting effort to defend oneself from danger, and the lack of predictability of what the world has to offer someone next spells out a compromised sense of security and stability.
Simon/the Ice King's story is one example of the show's exploration of the undesirable side of fantasy, and one story that's been built on for over eight years now. It's a story with circumstances unique to the show, with numerous writers informing its contents, with some parts planned and some spontaneous. It's a charged story, and it's narratively reductive to effectively whittle Simon's character and conflict as the showing of a real world mental illness
#ive seen ppl comparing simons call to marcy with stevens call to his dad in future#and yeah no one can relate to being half gem alien with a war rebellion leader mom.#but plenty of people can relate to a feeling of emptiness from not knowing what to do with yourself; and when you reach out to the person#you care about the most it becomes abundantly clear they also cannot help you . thats what its about#so yes its about simons trauma and the people he hurt when he wasnt himself and the time he's lost. it is also about ours#and as someone who struggles with depression; and memory loss; and identity crisis#i mean. i relate to simon alot. thats not odd. thats sort of what he's for#and i do love the pointing out that its about the undesirable parts of fantasty- thats so fucking true#esp with the whole 20th century man exhibit. it just drives home how distant our normal world is and how much youd really miss it#anyway. its just. like its ok to see yourself in tv. thats what the writers want you to do. i promise#adventure time#at spoilers#fac#fionna and cake

Terrible Trilogy
Part 15
wordcount: 5,350
You blinked at him. "...Who?"
Randy sighed to himself. "Sarah Darling. Blonde, busty, plays every teen boy's fantasy girl in horror films."
"I'm not a hormonal teen boy, Ray. Who was she on here?"
"She's this Stab's opening girl, Candi, that gets killed in the opening act. Lord, don't you watch-...Oh, right...No Stab movies for you. Nevermind."
You ignored his comment. "How did she die and when?"
"Last night. She was in Roman's office but I heard they found her shoved through a glass door down the hall." He gave a cartoonish grimace as he said it.
"O-oh." You mumbled with a swallow. Remembering the awful night you had and wondering if the killer got her before or after terrorizing you.
Killing a big guy like Cotton, chasing you all down on a highway, being able to shove someone through the glass on a door...The idea that this Ghostface was so ruthlessly determined to kill made Billy's Mom look tame and Mickey and Hallie look like amateurs. It made even Billy and Stu look like kids playing around compared to whoever this was.
'Then again...Revenge is a hell of a high. Especially if this person cared about Sidney...Or-'
You shook yourself from your thoughts when you saw Randy raise his eyebrows at you.
"Well um, is Dewey okay? I tried to call his phone and a Detective answered."
Randy shrugged. "I mean yeah, he's fine. Last I saw him, he was sitting next to Roman before they took Roman in for questioning."
You whispered to him with a dumbfounded expression. "Roman Bridger, the Director??"
"Yep, the very one. Apparently, Sarah's roommate claimed he called her to schedule a private meeting. He claims he didn't and we all know that's a freaking lie."
"Whaddya mean?"
Randy's excitement showed even if you both were in a dark corner, hiding from prying eyes. "Listen, the guy that's in charge of everything is always a suspect. He'll do anything to make his movie, he's lost touch with reality, he thinks this is a movie and he's playing God. Billy and Mickey wish they could be this guy. He is obviously a suspect."
You folded your arms with a raised brow. "So you're finally willing to admit this is happening for a third time and we're involved?"
He gave you an unamused stare. "No one likes a know it all, YN."
"You're one to talk."
"We can chit chat later with Dewey about all this. I swear I'll call you but if you don't want Milton having you arrested for trespassing or Detectives hounding you; then you really need to get the hell out of here."
Just then, you both heard John Milton talking and Randy shoved you behind a stack of crates. You scoffed and quickly squatted down to avoid detection. Peaking out to see Milton talking to a bunch of security guards. You could faintly hear him from where you hid.
"...We don't need any media here. I don't care what you have to do. Get the little punk that snuck in and throw him out on his ass. Fire the guard that let it happen...If ANY photos get out, you're fired too and I'll make sure you never work in any Studio in this town again. Got it?"
Your face soured as you tried listening before you saw Randy flinch when someone yelled in your direction.
"You! What is your job?"
Randy sheepishly smiled at Milton as you scowled at the tone he used with your friend. "Um, I'm on the tech advisor team along with Dewey Riley and I'm also a PA and-."
"An ant."
"Um, well-"
"I don't care. All I know is that you're not being paid to stand around."
"Yes Sir...S-sorry Sir."
You gritted your teeth as you heard Milton leave. You shot your middle finger up as Randy smacked it back down. You got up as he hissed at you. "Bro, that is my boss's boss. Don't flip him off!"
You saw Milton with his back turned leaving out a huge door. "What a total dick. What makes him think he can talk to people like that?!"
"YN...He is the executive producer of the entire studio. He is the big shit, okay? He's like the CEO and he can fire Roman, all the actors and all the crew if he wants."
You rolled your eyes. "Whatever, he can't do shit to me; I don't work for him. I'd verbally rip his ass and rub it in that I won the lawsuit if it wasn't for-..." You trailed off. "Whatever. He's a piece of shit."
"Yeah, he is a piece of shit, that's why you need to stay away from him." Randy gave you a serious look. "Do not piss off Milton, YN. I'm serious...I told you, there's stories about him and he has a lot of sway here in Hollywood. I'm shocked he didn't pay off your judge in court…" He started pushing you into another direction. "Now, you need to get the hell out of here before those Detectives come back if you want to avoid them-"
You threw up your hands. "Okay, okay. I'm going. Just have Dewey call me later...Cool?"
"Yeah totally."
He watched you leave and motioned to you. "Hey, the opposite way!"
You harshly motioned for him to be quiet. "I know where I'm going! Hush!"
You couldn't tell him you had to try and find Stu before Dewey did or a cop. He went to argue when somebody came by to talk to him about the Set. You saw he was distracted and quickly snuck around the corner to stay out of the light as much as you could.
'Hard to stay hidden in a giant box with overhead lights everywhere.' You grumbled in your head as you looked around. 'Where the hell is he?'
Your eyes darted about until you saw Dewey by himself, deep in thought. You breathed a sigh of relief at seeing him. You went to sneak away to find Stu when you heard something drop next to you as you bumped into a prop of a fence.
You both jumped at the same time as you cringed to yourself. He looked around until he saw you. "YN??" He rushed over to you, worry etched on his face. "Yn, what are you doing here? Didn't you hear?"
You sighed but nodded. "I did. Ray told me...I'm sorry but I didn't get an answer from him and some Detective answered your phone and I thought the worst...Why did a Detective have your phone?"
His face relaxed as he told you. "Detective Kincaid had to use mine for a phone call. His battery died."
You swallowed and glanced around. "And um...Is he here now?"
"No, his partner went down to the station with Mr. Bridger just a little bit ago and he went soon afterwards...YN, I told you it's not safe! Sarah Darling is dead. This killer is dangerous, clearly related to this movie and you shouldn't be here."
"I know, I know. I'm going, I was just um...Looking for you." You saved, still subtly glancing around for Stu.
"DDEEWWWEEYY!!"
You raised a brow as Dewey glanced over his shoulder. "C-coming Jennifer!"
She must not have heard him as her voice was getting louder. "Dewey!! I'm seriously stressed out right now, I'm out of my last Dunhill I swore I wasn't going to smoke and I'm ready to go!" She demanded as he tried to hide you but it failed as she made her way over.
You froze in place. Stunned as you came face to face with a young woman with a bright red suit, bright red lips and a hairstyle that looked just like Gale's old one when you first met. The woman didn't look that much like Gale in the face but the overall appearance gave you whiplash. Your eyes darted to the set for the first time behind her...It looked like the entrance to Stu's old house. You bit your inner cheek as the woman came up beside Dewey with a curious smile.
"Oh...Hey, I know you. You're!-"
"Yn, yes. Um, not so loud please. I'm not exactly liked around here." You sheepishly muttered before forcing yourself to at least try being polite. "You must be...Jennifer...Jolie?"
"Yes but no autographs." She suddenly cleared her throat and gave you a haughty look. "Then again, doesn't everyone know who I am? You must be living under a rock if you don't know who Jennifer Jolie is. "
You forced a thin smile. "Ah...I can see you play Gale Weathers."
"What gave it away? The skill? The dedication? The perfected apathetic attitude towards life?"
You pointed with a forced chuckle at the end of her sentence. "Yep. That's the one."
Jennifer eyed you up and down. "Huh...You don't look like some woman sheltered in the woods like Dewey said. I expected less style and more woman on the brink of insanity...Styles a bit of a small town cliche."
You looked down at yourself and back up at her. "Um...He did tell you I live in a nice house, right? I'm not in a tent. And sorry but most of my wardrobe is at home. I'm staying at a motel."
Your last sentence went over her head completely. "You know, I can always use more intel on how Gale Weathers works. I know how her loved ones see her but not an enemy and she totally hates your guts. So, just give me the number and I'll pay off your motel bill and get you a trailer at my place for a little while. Oh! You could bunk with Dewey!-" She got out her phone and gently touched it with a cringe smile.
"U-uh, that's not necessary but I'll keep it in mind. Thanks."
Dewey quickly chimed in, eyes darting between you two. "Well, Yn is really trying to keep a low profile and she's only here for a short amount of time so maybe some other time-"
He fell on deaf ears as she pouted and shoved her phone back in her purse. "Oh, who am I kidding? Like it matters with production shut down…I'll never live this down! Months of training and that stupid diet to fit into these tight skirts WASTED."
You opened your mouth but she kept talking. "You know, with Sarah dying and all, it really puts into perspective how fragile we all are...It's really terrifying! I don't think anyone understands what this is like just waiting for a killer to come get you!"
You raised your brows with a thin smile. "Nope, totally." You mumbled.
She gasped before she leaned in close to whisper. "...Except you! I NEED you. You can tell me exactly what to do to avoid my death!"
"W-well, I think that's more Randy's niche-"
"Then he can come too. Both of you, come to my wrap party tonight and show me how to save my life here! I'm THIS close to an Oscar; I can't bite the dust without winning at least one!"
You smiled over at Dewey. "Well, you have Woodsboro's finest officer as your bodyguard. I can promise nothing will happen to you with him here."
Dewey looked taken aback as you smiled at him. A slight smile tugged at the corner of his mouth as Jennifer continued, forcing your attention back to her.
"Oh please, you had two cops with guns and they both died. I can't rely on him completely!"
You frowned. "You know about that?"
"Uh, HELLO? I'm playing Gale Weathers! I studied…So, Dewey will text you the address."
You opened your mouth. "But-"
"And try to be there by 8 or so. Don't worry about food or anything you people bring to gatherings. I have a 5 star chef for that."
"You people? Listen-"
"Oh! And don't hesitate to tell me every juicy little fight you ever had with Gale in great detail...If not for the role then just because I'm dying to know." She mumbled with a smirk before clearing her throat and walking away. Trying to get back in character. She spoke to you over her shoulder as she sauntered away. "That is, If you show up at all. I could care less. Can't break character over some minor convenience like production shutting down... I'll find my own way."
You watched her walk away before gawking at Dewey. "....What the hell was that??"
"She's a method actor."
You cringed with a groan. "Oh God. So there's two Gale Weathers right now. Is that what you're telling me? Shoot me."
Dewey did a little finger gun at you as you tiredly stared at him. He sheepishly smiled and put his hand down. "Sorry….But she's not like Gale, she's a good person YN. She's just playing a part. Maybe...Maybe you should come to her house?"
"You can't be serious."
"I'll be there and you said yourself nothing bad will happen if I'm there…Thanks for that." He mumbled with a smile.
You smiled back. "You're welcome, Dewey."
"Then you'll be safe with me and…" He looked around before whispering. "And if you can convince Randy to come then we can discuss things privately in my trailer. I think we need to...You know, about-" He made a tiny stabbing motion.
"Yes, I know." You sighed and reluctantly nodded. "....Okay, fine. I'll be there."
Dewey nodded before hearing Jennifer call for him. He whispered back to you. "Be careful, YN. I'll see you tonight."
You shook your head as he walked away. Your personal objective was met, now, you just had to find Stu and get out of there.
After a bit of looking, you spotted him near the wall of the building. You went towards him before bumping right into someone.
"Hey, watch it!"
You scoffed back at them. "You watch it! I was clearly going..." You trailed off as you saw who it was.
Both of your faces fell before giving reserved scowls in each other's direction.
"...Gale."
"YN….What are you doing here?"
"Visiting Dewey and Randy. What are you doing here?"
"Nothing." She eyed you up and down. "Visiting Dewey, huh? I thought you were in your secluded little cabin in the woods bought with my money?"
You gave a bitter scoff with a shake of your head. "Ooh, yeah. The money I won fairly in the court of law." You gave her a glare. "And you're doing nothing? I find that hard to believe ESPECIALLY with a string of murders. And I doubt you're here for anyone's well being. I don't think you particularly like Randy and Dewey and you aren't together anymore…So, scouting out your next book?"
" I'm on an official case with the LAPD, as if it's any of your damn business."
"Sneaking around, huh? Milton specified no media weasels rooting around his coop."
Gale straightened herself. "I'm working with Detectives on this case whether Milton likes it or not."
"Why would they work with you?"
"Uh...I wrote the book on it? Duh." She clicked her fingers with a scoff. "Keep up."
You nodded with a wry smirk. "Right.... I'm shocked they'd work with a woman whose book was discredited in court."
She finally snapped at you. " Don't you have someone else's oxygen to suck up?!"
You resisted the urge to REALLY tell her off. You hadn't seen her in at least a year and the break up between her and Dewey was down right ugly after the court case.
You glanced over to see Stu gone. You rolled your eyes with an annoyed groan. "Whatever, Gale. Have fun collecting clues and twisting stories again."
She grabbed your arm and you whipped around to scowl at her. "Hold on a damn minute…Milton doesn't want you here either, so why are you, YN?"
You ripped your arm from her grasp. "I told you, Randy and Dewey."
"Really?" She muttered, staring at you intently. "I don't think that's the reason; not the only one at least. You never leave your cabin so why would you leave your isolated tower to come running to where the killer is?"
"None of your business."
She blocked your path and you sneered at her. She raised her brows at you. "You look like shit. Probably not getting any sleep...Did you get a phone call? Is that why you came here? To get answers? You have to tell me."
You shoved past her and put a few feet of distance away from each other. "I don't have to tell you anything. And YOU look like shit! Who cut your bangs? Some Kindergarteners with safety scissors?"
She gave you a sneer. "It was my stylist's fault! I asked for Bettie Page-...You know what? Fuck off. People's lives are at stake here, YN. And if you have info and you withhold it; their lives are on your hands...I'm trying to help here!"
"Spare the dramatics, Weathers.... Just like you helped my life with your stupid book and surprise interview on the Windsor lawn? Give me a break."
She glared at you, her entirely too crystal blue eyes boring into you as she leaned in close.
"My book wasn't a lie and you covering for them proves it...Mark my words, YN. What you're hiding, you can't hide it forever."
You stared back at her even if you felt your stomach turning. "What makes you think I'm hiding something, Gale?"
She slowly smirked. "...You keep looking around yourself, you're fidgeting with your hands and you're dodging questions. So...How much do you know about the murders going on here?...Or the murderers?"
You shoved past her. "You're so desperate for fame, it's sick. You know that?... Mind your business for once in your miserable life, especially towards someone you've put through enough bullshit already."
She called after you in a mocking tone. "It's my job, sweetness! You better watch your ass too because-"
She was cut off by someone yelling at her as she was finally spotted. You quickly rushed around the corner to run straight into Stu. Your heart dropped as you stomped your foot in irritation as he shhed you.
"God, if I run into one more person!"
"You don't have to. I heard everything. Rehearsals canceled. Productions halted. Let's go."
You blinked as he all but grabbed your arm without warning and practically dragged you. He had a too serious for Stu Macher look on his face as you rushed behind him, tripping over your own two feet to keep up. You both went out an exit out a back door. You shielded your eyes at the bright sun as you both went past go carts and people. Security thick in the area as he rounded the corner trying to get to your car.
"Stu, stop dragging me! Your leg stride is a hell of a lot wider than mine."
"We gotta get to the car, okay? Keep up."
You huffed and finally ripped your arm away once you saw your car in the distance.
"Stu, what's wrong?"
He rolled his lips, his brows furrowing till he turned to you. "You wanna know what's wrong? I'll tell you what's wrong; I can't leave. At all! Not until they catch the freaking killer, man! And if I leave, I'll be apprehended." You stared in silence as he continued. "Yeah, turns out, asshole was right. I can't leave now because everyone is a suspect and all actors, producers, stand bys; Everyone is permanently grounded here until the cops feel we're not involved."
"...Shit." You mumbled.
You went to say something and he threw up a hand. "Yeah, shit!...And I don't want to hear it, okay?! NOT A WORD to Billy at the motel, not a word in the car; nothing! Got it?" He growled out.
You nodded, taken aback by his anger. "Got it."
He turned away, stalking to the car while running a hand through his hair. You followed, sighing to yourself at your situation as you unlocked your doors.
You both finally got to the car, slamming your doors shut before sitting in silence for a few seconds.
You shrugged to yourself with a grimace. "Well…At least we got in and out without too much trouble."
Stu gave a sarcastic smile. "Yeah, I'm just under watch and you have Gale on your ass. We really dodged some bullets...And who were you talking to with Dewey??"
"Jennifer Jolie."
He perked up. "...Sounds familiar. Does she have a topless scene in that one movie-"
You cut him off. "I don't know or care, Stu. All I know is she's playing Gale now...She uh...She invited me to her house and I said yes."
"What? Why would you do that?" He side eyed you and you threw up a hand in defense.
"She didn't leave much room for argument and as if you wouldn't have said yes without consulting me or Billy!...Besides, whoever this is, is a part of this movie. Has to be. Most likely from Woodsboro. I need to mingle and find out who is a suspect."
"You mean my partner?" Stu mocked with a smartass smirk your way.
"Oh, don't be like that. We all suspect each other...Can you seriously blame me? Even if you do blame me, too bad. I'm going and seeing who looks suspicious."
Stu folded his arms. "Yeah, we know I can't go. The guy playing Dewey in Stab invited me too."
"He did?"
"Yeah and I obviously said no. Why did Deputy killjoy have to be HERE right NOW? I've never missed a party in my life let alone one with celebrities!"
You groaned and rubbed your nose bridge. "It's not exactly a rager, Stu. Someone died...Well, at least I can go and you can be my uh...My look out."
He sighed, sinking in his seat with an eye roll. "Wow, totally what I came to Hollywood for. Not to party with celebs or anything. Just to prowl in the bushes with the raccoons and rabid dogs."
"It's not that bad. If I could trade you places, I would. I hate mingling especially with these Hollywood types. Nothing but a bunch of Gale's just less efficient spoiled brats...Speaking of which, now we gotta watch my back and yours and Billy's for that vulture."
Stu huffed as you started your engine. "Please, I can out sleuth Weather girl anyday. That's the least of my worries."
————————————————————
You both made it back to the motel. You have expected to have Billy attack one of you or to be lounging on the bed scowling at you. To your surprise, he was still gone.
"...It's near noon and he's still gone?"
Stu rolled his eyes. "His bag is still here, he's fine. Now, can we stop talking about him and worry about more important shit? A game plan for tonight, suspects, whatever?"
You swallowed, prying your eyes from his empty bed and nodding. "Yeah, okay. I need to call Randy and invite him-"
Stu rolled his eyes as he sat at the small round table. Propping his chin up in his hand with an annoyed expression.
You narrowed your eyes at him. "Don't start, please. Think of it this way…If-" You hesitated, licking your lips before forcing it out. "If he's involved, he'll be at the party. All suspects at this wrap party at Jennifer's means I can REALLY investigate."
Stu raised a brow with a slightly interested look. "So if the killer attacks, we know whoever isn't there is a suspect. So if Ray refuses to go and you get attacked; Bingo. We have our copycat."
You frowned at that even if you knew it was true.
"Right…Dewey sent me the address. You can't really be there but I need you near enough to snoop OR see if someone else is snooping."
"Gale?"
"Exactly. She still thinks I know you two and I was involved…And please refrain from any smartass comments."
"I'll try but if I don't I might explode."
"Then combust, alright?" You gave with an annoyed look. "Point is, Gale isn't invited to this get together AND she gave some weird cryptic warning earlier... Her exact words were 'You can't hide it forever.'... She is our number one suspect besides each other."
Stu sighed but sat back with his arms folded. "So…Ease drop but hang back and look for anyone leaving or going to this house."
"Exactly…Oh."
"What?"
You scoffed and ran a hand over your head. "How can you get there? I have the only vehicle. A Taxi isn't smart because what if you need to get the hell out of there fast?"
Stu thought for a moment. "...Hitch a ride."
"You?"
"No you, Sweetcheeks. Get a ride from Dewey or Randy and I'll take the CRV."
You felt yourself grimace at the idea of him having free range of your car.
Stu stared at you. "Look, it's the only way! Unless you want to be on your own tonight."
"No, definitely not."
"Alright then. I'll leave after they pick you up and before you get back so it's not so suspicious that your vehicle is missing."
You faltered. "...How do I know you won't just bolt? Or you're trying to frame me by planting my car somewhere?"
He groaned and leaned back in the chair like teen boys got yelled at for by the teachers in class. "God, you've definitely been around Billy too much."
"Stu."
"I'm not! Okay, how can I prove I wont?"
"...You can't."
"Exactly. So, you're just going to have to trust me, alright? Call one of them."
You sighed heavily as you got your phone out. "Randy..."
——————————————–—–––———
The sun was slowly starting to set as you made your way to the parking lot. You adjusted your jacket subconsciously, Stu insisted if you were going to gain celebrities trust you should dress the part. You wore those red pleather pants Stu insisted you pack back at your house before the road trip. A white lace camisole and a black leather jacket paired with some black boots your could easily run in.
YOU wanted jeans and a flannel incase but Stu convinced you otherwise. It wasn't as cool as it was at Windsor but you were just grateful it was fall or else you would have refused such a hot constricting outfit.
'...It does look good, though.' You thought as you saw the car roll up.
He rolled down his window with a smirk. A pair of shades on his face, a black t shirt, a khaki leather jacket and a pair of jeans on.
"Alright, Buffy the Slasher Slayer; get in."
"Slasher?...Oh right, like those Friday the 13th movies we binged or I Know What You Did Last Summer. I get it. Let's hope I don't have to 'slay' this one..." You couldn't help the smirk as you opened the door. "Seriously, though? You still don't open doors for ladies? And you wonder why you can't get second dates."
You huffed with a slight chuckle. "You're not a lady, YN. You're like an annoying sister. As if I don't have Martha for that."
You shut the door with raised brows. "Oh really? You didn't think I was a sister when we-"
"Ah, ah, ah, ah! We agreed to not discuss that, YN. We agreed that it was an experiment and we wouldn't talk about that."
You rolled your eyes with a playful snort as you buckled up. "Okay, okay... So we'll just forget your tongue in my mouth-"
"AH! What did I just say? ANNOYING." He gave with a lopsided grin. "Not that it was terrible but...You know, spark wasn't there."
You sucked in a sigh but nodded. "Yeah..."
You saw Stu in your car with a snapback on and his head down. Waiting on you both to leave before leaving himself.
Randy broke the silence. "So, you like the motel?"
You shrugged. "Eh, not getting much sleep."
"Noisy neighbors?"
"Yyeeaahhh...Yeah, I guess so."
Randy bit his lower lip in thought. "You know, you can come to my hotel. It's a nice Hilton Inn all expenses paid by the studio. Milton would have no idea you're even there."
You felt a devious smirk pull the corner of your lips. "Are you inviting me to your bed, Ray?"
You saw the blush on his cheeks and ears as he scoffed. "N-not like that, dork. I have two beds."
You smiled over at him. You felt like you could relax around him. Even in Highschool, despite not being close, you trusted him. Stu, you couldn't trust not to try and dehumanize you or grope you and Billy was a brooding loose canon that could fly off the rails at any moment. For the first time in days, you felt fully relaxed just being in the car with him for less than 5 minutes.
You wanted so badly to say yes but...Billy and Stu would just stalk you both. Possibly even hurt Randy the second any 'evidence' came up. And you risked the killer dropping off a photo at his place if you were there. Besides, whether you liked it or not...Everyone was a suspect. It hurt to even think of Randy like that but you had to for your own good. At least you knew Billy and Stu were wolves. There was no telling if Randy was a sheep...Or a wolf in sheeps clothing.
"Tempting but I'll pass...A girl...Needs her privacy." You sighed out. That was the last thing you were getting.
He frowned. "Are you sure? You look tired and...I would feel better about this new killer if you were with me." He mumbled softly. "Uh you know...Numbers. Being able to watch each others backs." He added.
You felt your eyes sting at that. You wanted so badly to just say yes but once again; Billy and Stu ruined the chance as well as this new killer.
"I'm sure. Let's just drop it...Thanks though."
"Are you okay?" He asked, taking off his shades as he drove as his eyes darted towards you.
You forced a smile and nodded. "Yeah, just lack of sleep and talking about the killer makes me upset. I know we have to talk about it later but...Just not right now."
He nodded. "Okay, sure. Whatever you want...Mind if we just listen to music then?"
You nodded as he dialed in while you started driving on the outskirts of the city towards the mountainside.
A song came on as you stared out the window. You recognized it. "Sugar Ray, huh?"
"What? It's not my favorite but you know I like college rock. Look, it's the station I'm dialed into...Do NOT make that my new nickname either." He warned as you snorted to yourself.
"Fine, I'll save it for when you really annoy me."
You listened as you saw a mailbox and the gated entrance to a paved drive on the Hollywood hillside.
"All the things that I used to say
All the words that got in the way
All the things that I used to know
Have gone out the window."
You secretly liked the song, grateful to have an upbeat song to combat the anxiety you had. Wearing clothes you didn't normally wear, hyperanalyzing and stressing over everything with this killer, being around celebrities when you had a hard enough time being social with everyday people.
The gates opened as Randy drove. "Yeash, maybe I'm in the wrong career...Think I can act?" He mumbled as you saw the million dollar home she had.
"Not on your life, Ray." You muttured as the song continued playing.
"Never ends. When it's over"
You looked around as Randy seemed to stare in awe as well...However, you weren't awestruck. Your eyes landed on a vehicle that made your heart sink the more you stared until realization hit you like a ton of bricks.
You felt your breath hitch as your eyes became saucers...Right there in the drive way, was a black SUV with a dent in the front bumper.

side character deaths in buffy
I've been thinking a lot recently about death in buffy, mainly inspired by Help and everything that has to say to us about avoiding, accepting and understanding death
obviously the main characters' deaths are heartbreaking, because they're written to be heartbreaking and break our relationships with characters we love and know well. buffy (twice), angel, spike, joyce, tara, anya, and all the many alternate universe and dream vision deaths that kill the main characters rip my heart out of my chest for obvious reasons. but today I've been thinking more about the deaths of people we didn't know that well and whose deaths we watch without knowing them well. so I'm gonna talk about some of those cause it's my blog and you can't stop me.
(for the purposes of this post I'm counting main characters as anyone who was in the credits, with the addition of joyce because come on)
Deputy Mayor Allan Finch/Warren in Bad Girls and Villains
These two deaths both make you gasp for the same reason - they're sudden, physically icky (warren has the edge here with the flaying but the dark blood and death rattle for allan is also horrible to watch) and while we don't have a lot of positive feelings for the victim, we gasp because of what it means for the murderers and how we suddenly realised this season is going to get darker than we thought. faith and willow both spend the rest of their time on the show dealing with the consequences of these deaths and the audience knows in the moment they happen what it has to mean for the main characters. we want to save faith and willow from the consequences of having done this. just like faith, we're confused in the dark when a figure comes towards the slayers and we don't realise what's happening immediately, and with willow we've been watching her friends approach through the forest the whole time she's giving her evil speech thinking they have to be in time to stop her because no way would the writers let willow torture a man to death on screen. If warren or the deputy mayor had died because of a demon or accident we probably wouldn't have noticed (in the deputy mayor's case) or we'd have actively applauded (I rly wanted to watch warren die).
Jesse in The Harvest
I'm guilty of forgetting about Jesse (and so is the buffy writers room when they fail to mention him for seven years) but killing off a character who looked all set to become a scooby in the pilot and then making his best friend dust him as a vampire was both shocking and showed us a lot of the issues the show would go on to consider in miniature, right at the start. we've had campy vampires running around and wisecracking, we've had vampires being cool and edgy, the master being a total ham, but then we suddenly have to watch xander grapple with the idea that vampires are more than strangers in graveyards, they're the people you knew with yellow eyes and no soul, they can talk to you with all their childhood memories of you intact. season one might do a lot of floppy cardboard monsters but Jesse's death tells us they fully intend to Go There with the horrifying psychological implications of what vampires can do to you.
Jenny Calendar and Kendra Young in Passion and Becoming
I think of these deaths together because they were both characters that we half-knew and thought we'd get to know more. they were both characters who we felt could have gone on to be in the credits, have their own plots, and had a lot left to explore on the show. having two slayers in town could have been interesting (and would go on to be interesting in season three) and as well as her love story with Giles, we'd just had the veil pulled back about Jenny's heritage and reason for coming to Sunnydale - so both of these deaths were in the horrible sweet spot of having got to know the characters more than someone like Jesse, but not feeling 'done' with them yet. they were both killed by vampires who didn't even feed on them, by neck injuries that weren't bites by 'big bad' vampires who were really after someone else. after their deaths they both set more in motion and had long thematic afterlives - we think about Kendra when faith is called, and when we meet the potentials, and Jenny gives us the soul curse and gets willow started casting spells. Kendra definitely deserved more remembering than she got, and in a world where Joss Whedon had more time for Black characters I like to think we'd have got more of her and Mr Pointy.
the normal teens buffy couldn't save
before I started writing this post, I knew this was where we were going to end up.
(Jonathan maybe doesn't totally count here but I did because his final lines made me so sad)
characters who chose to join a battle between good and evil and died as part of that fight break my heart, but at least with Jenny and Kendra they knew at least partly what they were signing up for. Larry and Harmony we knew enough to have compassion for, and even when they were mean they were mean in regular school kid ways rather than big bad evil ways. I went to school with all of these people and probably so did everyone else.
Larry and Harmony died on graduation day when they were meant to be becoming adults under posters that said 'the future is ours' - Larry was newly out as gay and Harmony was about to get out from under the popular girls and maybe become a person who could stand on her own two feet, and Buffy could have helped them if there'd been less murder and death going on everywhere around them. harmony as a screaming blonde teen was exactly the type of victim buffy saves ten times an episode in alleys outside the bronze. Jonathan had more of an arc but at the end, back in high school after making an optimistic, bittersweet speech about coming to terms with high school and being optimistic about the rest of his life, leaving behind Andrew and Warren's bitter obsessive revenge of the nerds fantasies.
and Cassie, my heartbreaking queen, the one that gets me more than anyone that I wrote about a lot yesterday, knew what was coming and that no one could save her, and all the things she listed that she knew she'd miss were teenage coming of age things. she wanted to go backpacking, attend college, go to a dance with a boy, and fall in love one day. the whole of Help, she's considering the rites of passage she won't get to do, and in her therapy sessions Buffy tries to inspire her to want to go to college or join the french foreign legion. for buffy, saving Cassie means giving her a future. we haven't met the potentials or heard the word potential yet in Help but this episode is all about potential, and Buffy's attempts to save a life meaning safeguarding someone's potential and right to grow up.

-hmm maybe use a weapon that actually fits baby pepto, that's not how swords work, they aren't one size fits all dummy
-flowering thorn? That's a dumb name, none of you are named after actual roses
-you guys wanna be rwby so bad
-why do they have uniforms? Like why would you wear a uniform for like smithing or potions or fighting where it's very likely to get destroyed
-ugh the smith teacher's VA is so annoying SPEAK UP
-woo, talking to urself exposition
-the magic system is gonna be just as garbage as the rest of the show so I don't even care
-got a Spanish ad and thought I was going crazy
-"UR MOM LOL"
-ugh we're gonna have to see more of creepy teacher bc he knows pepto's mom huh
-oh either that's a dead twin or creepy teacher is trans
-"what was she like" u were literally having flashbacks about her you know what she's like u dumb
-guess blondie's gonna die, oh well
-"no swears" please tell me the mature warning isn't for swearing if I have to hear cursing in this horrible diologue I'll cry
-PURPLE!!!
-suddenly I care about this episode
-wait hold up her name is Amaryllis? Is that a spice? Do we finally get a spice named character?
-I'll google it just a sec
-IT'S A FUCKING FLOWER
-IT'S NOT EVEN A PURPLE FLOWER IT'S RED
-Ryll and Snap, the only funny characters so far
-ah i love when she causes problems on purpose
-ooh a non visually impressive cave, move on already
-I hope the glow-crabs kill blondie, we could use less main characters
-tall continues to do nothing
-ew
-I'd be cowering too
-a fuckin furry
-nebbi cat?
-"I am transgender " :D he actually said the word that's nice
-"*gives textbook definition and explains what trans is instead of just moving on*" >:(
-but really isn't this supposed to be a mature audience thing, like adults know what a trans person is you fucks you don't need to explain
-ugh moving on
-oh she's just trigger happy good for her
-"why am I even here" you can leave, nobody is keeping you here my dude
-blood? Is that what the fuckin mature warning is for? You don't goddamn need that for some blood
-pepto's mom broke the sword in battle and pepto broke it by fuckin around while eating subway
-the sideways angle when she was talking was weird
-bored again
-this is dumb I'd rather go back to anyone else
-why are they walking, why aren't they running? They don't have something better to do, do they?
-ew anime romance bubbles
-ugh it's gonna be a thing isn't it
-Tall finally doing something
-pepto continues to be fuckin annoying
-the outro still makes me want to die
-overview I guess
-boring episode about pepto being fucking stupid
-amaryllis continues to be the only entertaining character
-I don't like the trans scene it was so weirdly out of place but also drawn out for an unnecessary long time
-like I don't think pepto actually cares, we know ur just pandering to the audience who, again, if the target audience is supposed to be mature audience they're gonna already know what transgender is
-ugh I zoned out for like half the episode bc it was boring and bad
-also why has it been 3 eps and Tall still hasn't had like more than 5 minutes of screen time, that's weird
-I'm still mad about the spice thing
