Genre: fluff Character: Embry Call x Reader Word Count: 6.5k Warnings: cursing, kissing/making out, use of Y/N Summary: Embry tries to keep his distance but gives up when he realizes that he no longer has a choice. Requested: Yes (from anon: "embry x reader he imprints on reader who just moved to forks (no relationship with bella or anyone in the books she jus moved thered with her family) and he imprints when shes at a bonfire on la push beach. he is around with a couple other pack members and he’s supposed to jus keep watch and he takes a while to build a relationship w her") Note: characters are aged up (around 20).
a/n: kinda hate this, but it's been ages since I've posted, and this has been sitting in my drafts for a while.
• ──────────────☾────────────── •
One week. I've been in Forks for one week and I've already been roped into attending some kind of late-night social gathering at a beach in La Push by a group of friends I met while working at the local grocery store in town. That would probably be exciting for most people, especially if they're new in town and know absolutely no one, but I don't see it that way. I would much rather be hiding away in my room, curled up under my weighted blanket with a good book and a hot cup of tea, not freezing my ass off at a bonfire on the beach surrounded by strangers. Despite it being late August and technically still summer, the nights are significantly cooler than the days, which aren't very hot themselves. Thankfully it's not raining out. I would have turned down the offer to come had it been anyone other than the sweet, kind-hearted Angela who'd asked. But since I didn't, I'm stuck listening to the annoying, air-headed Mike Newton go on an over-exaggerated tangent about the time got caught sleeping in his math class in high school and received detention for it.
As I try my best to be attentive, I can't help but let my eyes drift around the large group of people that surround the area. It was only supposed to be a small gathering, and that's how it started out, but as it gets later, more and more people show up. I sigh, continuing to scan the crowd until my eyes land on a small group of guys standing nearby. Just by their appearance, I know who they are. Jessica made sure to inform me prior to arriving about the "weird" reservation kids who act like they run the area and would probably show up to stand watch like guard dogs. She and her friends had a lot to say about the four guys, none of it being particularly nice. I don't see the problem, though, because they have kept to themselves the whole time. They speak when spoken to, but other than that, they keep conversation amongst themselves. I find myself intrigued by the reserved strangers.
My gaze lingers a little too long because one of them looks up and our eyes lock. Instantly, a shiver runs down my spine, a sudden rush of warmth replacing the coldness I'm feeling. Something about him draws me in and pulls me towards him, yet I can't find the will to move. He's beautiful, in a boyish kind of way, wearing khaki shorts and a black cut-off T-shirt despite the chilled weather. He's the one to break the impromptu staring contest when one of his friends nudges his side and steals his attention. I'm a little disappointed when his rich brown eyes look away. I watch for a little longer as they share a few hushed words before all of their eyes shift to me. The extra attention forces me to finally divert mine away.
"Hey," I lean closer to speak to Angela, "I'll be back. I'm gonna take a walk down the beach."
"Okay." She nods, "Do you want me to walk with you?"
"No, it's okay. I won't be gone long."
I walk along the shore, kicking rocks until I get far enough away that the loud music and shouting sound like a soft murmur in the distance. I find a washed-up log and sit down, watching the waves crash against the shore before retreating. It's quiet and peaceful. I could probably fall asleep sitting here. The sound of a stick snapping behind me ruins that thought. Turning my head away from the water and towards the forest, I come face-to-face with the handsome boy.
"You shouldn't be wandering around out here by yourself. It's not safe." He speaks as he takes a hesitant step closer to me.
"I could say the same to you."
"Why did you leave your friends?" He asks, coming to take a seat on the log next to me, making sure to leave a little space between us.
"They are hardly my friends." I laugh dryly, staring back out at the water. "I didn't even want to come."
"Then why did you?" I shrug in response, not really having a reasonable answer to give. "I could give you a ride home if you want."
"I don't even know you." I chuckle. "Didn't you just lecture me about it not being safe to wander off out here alone, and now you're offering me a ride home. Talk about stranger danger. This is literally the plot and premise of every teen slasher film."
"It was hardly a lecture. More of a piece of valuable advice." He smiles, offering his hand to shake. "I'm Embry Call."
"Y/N Y/L/N." I reply, grabbing his hand. It's unbelievably warm yet comforting.
"Now we're not strangers. Want to take me up on my offer now?" He asks. "If not, you could always go back and ask that Newton kid to tell you another story to help pass the time."
"I would rather step on a Lego than listen to another one of his stories." I scoff. "But I should let Angela know I'm leaving first."
"Let's go then." He chuckles and stands up, waiting for me to rise to my feet before leading me back to the bonfire.

The drive to my house seems to go by quickly. We make small talk here and there until the conversations eventually fizzle out completely and we fall into a comfortable silence. There's a weird tension that lingers in the air. Not a bad weird, just different. I want to know more about him but he's a little closed off. When we speak, it seems like he wants to let me in, he wants to talk to me, but something is stopping him from getting too deep. Despite that, he makes me feel at ease.
"We're here." he speaks softly, pulling me from my thoughts.
"Oh, okay. Thanks for the ride." I reply, attempting to hide my disappointment with a smile. "And for not killing me." I tack on a joke for further convincing.
"No problem." He laughs as he opens his door to get out. He comes around to my side and opens my door for me, grabbing my hand gently to help me out of the truck. "I'll wait here until you get inside."
"Okay," I nod. "Will I see you around?"
"Maybe." He shrugs.
"Goodnight, Embry."
"Goodnight, Y/N." The way my name rolls off his tongue so soft and smooth sends a gentle shiver running through me. Every thought in my brain vanishes and it's only the sound of his voice playing over and over again like a broken record.
By the time I make it up to my room, I'm smiling hard and surely sporting flushed cheeks. I look out my window to check, and there he is, still waiting like he said. I wave down at him once we make eye contact. He smiles and waves back before climbing into the truck and reversing out of the driveway.
I go about my usual nightly routine before finally settling into bed. The smile that this mysterious boy has somehow managed to plant on my face has yet to disappear. I think back over our interactions throughout the night, and although they had been small and more than likely meaningless to him, they had me giggling and kicking my feet like a little schoolgirl. Figuratively, of course. Once I manage to calm myself down, I close my eyes and begin to drift off to sleep, whispering a quick prayer that tonight was only the first and not the last time I would be seeing the handsome stranger.

"That movie was awful." I scoff, walking with the rest of the group out of the theater.
"I thought it was awesome!" Mike exclaims.
"How? There was an unnecessary amount of blood and gore that did absolutely nothing for the plot, and the graphics were horrible."
"Woah there! Didn't know we had a professional movie critic on our hands." Mike jokes, receiving laughter from the rest of the group.
I roll my eyes as they begin gushing and raving about the action movie as we walk down the street. I fall back behind the group a bit, putting a little distance between me and them, but not too much that it's noticeable. Not that I think they would notice anyway. Despite having hung out with them numerous times since the bonfire two weeks ago, my friendship with them hasn't progressed at all. I just don't feel much of a connection with any of them, other than Angela.
"Hey, Y/N!" A call of my name pulls me out of my thoughts. I look up at Angela and her friends to find the source, only to see them looking back at me, confusion written on all of their faces. "Hey!" The masculine voice calls again from behind me, a little closer this time. I turn around this time, coming face-to-face with one of the guys from the bonfire, Embry and a couple of others not far behind.
"Do I know you?" I ask.
"No, but I know you. I'm Jared Cameron." He offers me his hand to shake.
"Y/N Y/L/N." I shake his outstretched hand. The next one to introduce himself has short, curly hair and a boyish grin on his face.
"Quil Ateara. The fifth, but the greatest." He chuckles, shaking my hand. The last one steps up wearing a smug expression as he introduces himself.
"Paul Lahote." He smirks, grabbing my hand and bringing it up to his lips. However, before he can make contact with my skin, he is stopped by Embry's stern voice.
"Enough, Paul." He orders to the snickering man.
"Hi, Embry." I redirect my attention to the boy who stands a few steps behind the others.
"Hey." He replies, our gazes locking briefly before he looks away.
"We're heading to a little restaurant down the street," Jared explains. "Wanna join?"
"Oh uh-" As I try to find the words to respond to his spontaneous offer, I'm interrupted by the voice of a female, that I have come to realize I am not the biggest fan of.
"Hey, Y/N. Who are your friends?" She asks, leaving me no time to respond before turning to introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Jessica Stanley." A chorus of 'hey's and 'hello's come from the group in response.
"We're heading home if you're ready." She directs her attention to me this time.
"Okay."
"We were actually offering her to join us for dinner," Quil states, presenting the offer Jared had extended to me just a few moments ago. "If she hasn't eaten yet."
"That's so kind of you." Jessica speaks with fake enthusiasm.
"Will you?" Jared questions, eyes trained on mine.
"Sure." I nod, turning to the group I had come with. "If that's okay with all of you."
"Go ahead." Angela is the one to step up and speak, a small but noticeable smile on her face. "Text me when you get home?"
A simple nod is all she needs before she grabs Jessica's hand and guides her back over to their group.
"Let's go," Paul speaks, throwing his arm over my shoulder as if we've known each other for years, and begins to lead me away. "I'm starving."
The restaurant we end up at is a cute, family-owned Italian place. It's cozy and welcoming, much like the rowdy group of boys who invited me to it.
"You have got to try the pizza," Quil leans in from his chair beside me to show me the options on the menu. "It's amazing."
"You think so?" I ask, amused by his never-ending enthusiasm.
"I know so." He winks, flashing me a toothy grin.
"The chicken alfredo is also really good." Jared adds from his seat on the other side of the table. I take their suggestions into consideration as I browse the menu.
"Everything looks and sounds delicious," I say, a sigh of defeat passing through my lips. "I don't know what to choose."
"We could order a couple plates of pasta and a few large pizzas to share. The portions are pretty big." Jared suggests.
"That's fine with me." I nod. "I'm still kind of full from the popcorn I ate at the theater so I won't be able to finish a full meal by myself."
"Don't you worry your pretty little head," Quil taps the tip of my nose with his index finger, forcing a giggle out of me at his antics. "Whatever you don't eat, I can gladly finish for you."
"Sounds like a plan then." I smile.
Once we finalize our decisions and put in our orders, we fall into easy conversation. A majority of it is Jared, Quil, and Paul bickering about random stuff or asking me questions. Despite their endless chatter, I can't help but let my mind linger on the quiet male sitting directly to my left. Before I can gather the courage to talk to Embry, Paul grabs my attention.
"How come you hang out with that Newton kid and his friends if you can't stand them?"
"Huh?" His question throws me off a bit.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but you didn't seem too thrilled when we saw you outside of the theater." He elaborates. "And you looked a little annoyed when that Jennifer girl butt in to our conversation."
"You mean Jessica?" I chuckle as I correct him.
"Yeah, her." He nods.
"I wouldn't say that I dislike them, necessarily." I shrug. "I just don't click with them well, I guess. Angela is cool, and Eric isn't too bad, but the others are just so...I don't know. Jessica has to always be the center of attention, and Mike is overly flirtatious and too handsy for me."
"Handsy?" Embry questions, addressing me for the first time since out intial greeting outside of the theater. "Has he touched you?"
"It's nothing bad," I assure him. "It's just little things like trying to hold my hand or mess with my hair. Just weirds me out a bit."
"He still shouldn't be trying to touch you without your permission." He grumbles. "Someone needs to put him in his place."
"It's fine." I shrug. "He's harmless, just doesn't understand boundaries." Before he can say anything else, the food arrives.
"Is there anything else I can get for you?" The waitress asks after placing all of the food on the table. A chorus of "no's" and "no thank you's" float around the table. "Okay. Just call for me if you need me." As soon as she walks away, we all dig in.
"I am stuffed!" I exclaim after taking the last bite of pasta on my plate. There's still half a dish of pasta and a full pizza left on the table, but at the rate that the boys are eating, I'm positive it will be gone soon.
"You humans and your small appetites." Quil laughs around a mouth full of pizza. His comment earns him a harsh glare from the others.
"Humans?" I laugh at his strange words. "What are you, then? A dog." The table falls quiet as the four share a look before breaking out into nervous laughter. Ignoring their weird response, I change the subject.
"So, what is school like on the reservation?" I ask.
"Boring," Jared replies. "And a lot smaller than public schools."
"What do you do for fun?"
"We spend a lot of time hanging out with our friend Sam and his fiancee, Emily, at their place. It's our home away from home." He answers.
"Or going cliff jumping." Paul adds.
"Cliff jumping?" My eyes widen as I repeat the words back to him. "Is that even safe?"
"No, but it's fun as hell." Quil chuckles. "Gives you a huge adrenaline rush. You should come with us and give it a try some time."
"Absolutely not." Embry interjects, shutting down his suggestion before I can answer for myself. "She could get seriously injured, if she doesn't die from it."
"She'll be fine." Paul jumps in. "Jacob's little leech lover did it and survived."
"Barely." Embry scoffed. "Jacob had to pull her out and perform mouth-to-mouth on her."
"Well, it's a good thing she will be with us then." Paul responds cheekily. "What do you say, Y/N? I don't mind providing a little mouth-to-mouth if necessary."
"I'll pass."
"You should come hang out on the rez, then? At Sam and Emily's place." Jared suggests.
"I don't know." I shake my head. "I don't want to intrude. You seem like a really tight-knit group."
"It's fine." He waves me off. "You'll fit right in." A smug look flickers across his face, as if he knows something that I don't.
"Maybe, but not tonight. I need to get home soon."
"Of course." Jared nods. "Let's pay the bill and then we can head out."

"Are you sure this is okay? They won't mind that I'm here?" I ask Quil as we make our way up the drive way toward Sam and Emily's house.
"Of course not." He gives me a reassuring smile. "We've told them all about you, and they are excited to meet you. Emily's happy to have another female to hang out with. Something about there being too much testosterone around here." He rolls his eyes laughing. "Word of advice though. Don't stare at Emily's face. It pisses Sam off."
"Noted." I nod as we walk up the steps.
"Honey, I'm home!" Quil shouts into the house as he throws the door open.
"Please leave." Paul deadpans.
"Hi! You must be Y/N." A woman greets warmly as she makes her way across the kitchen, making sure to smack Paul in the back of the head and telling him to be nice. "I'm Emily Young." She introduces herself as she pull me into a hug.
"Yes, I am." I nod smiling, reciprocating her hug. "Nice to meet you."
"I'm Sam Uley." A man steps up next to her, greeting me as he does. "That's Seth and Leah Clearwater," He gestures to two other unfamiliar faces sitting at the kitchen table. "And you know the rest of the hooligans."
"Hooligans?" Jared scoffs. "I'll have you know that I am a very distinguished young man." He says as he adjusts his invisible tie.
"Yeah, maybe compared to a caveman." Paul retorts, causing Jared to retaliate by intiating a wrestling match in the small kitchen.
"Enough, you two." Sam barks, trying and failing to hide his amusement at their antics.
"Come sit." Emily turns to me, gently ushering me to the only empty chair at the table, which happens to be right next to Embry.
"Hey," He greets in a quiet whisper as I take a seat.
"Hey."
"Are you okay?" He questions, a look of concern on his features.
"Yeah," I nod. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"You just seem a little tense." He answers. "And they can be a lot sometimes, even for someone like me who has spent years dealing with them."
"I'm okay," I assure him with a smile. He simply nods before turning to finish his lunch as Emily sets a plate down in front of me.
"I'm not sure if you've eaten already but I saved a plate for you." She explains. "Food doesn't last long around here with all of these men so I made sure to put some aside when I heard you were coming."
"I'm starving, actually. I haven't eaten yet today." I reply. "Thank you!"
"You haven't eaten? Like, at all?" The boy named Seth asks from his spot opposite of me.
"No." I shake my head. "I was up late last night writing a paper for my English class and started working on it again as soon as I woke up. I guess I got a little too carried away and forgot to eat anything. But hey! At least I finished my paper. Four days early at that."
"You should still make sure you're eating properly though." Embry states.
"Of course." I nod in agreement. "It's a bad habit I've been trying to kick for years. Once I get locked in on something, it's hard to step away. My mom has lectured me, like, a million times about it."
"So it happens often, is what I'm hearing." Emily steps in, her mom voice making an appearance."
"More often then it should." I respond sheepishly.
"That settles it then." She shakes her head in disbelief. "I'm now making it my personal duty to make sure you are eating three full meals a day. Can't have you getting sick on us."
"You don't have to do that." I argue.
"I know I don't have to, but we take care of our own around here. I know you're new to the group, but I already consider you one of us." She explains, her tone leaving no room fro argument.
"Okay." A blush warms my cheeks as I finally begin to dig into my food.
"Embry." Sam calls his name from where he stands by the kitchen door. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"
He responds with a nod before rising from his chair and following Sam outside. They are standing on the porch right outside the door, speaking in hushed whispers. As the conversation goes on, Embry seems to grow increasingly frustrated or angry, I assume by the expressions on his face. A few more words are shared between the two before Embry stomps off the porch and Sam returns to the kitchen, letting out a heavy sigh as he enters. The others give him a questioning look, but all he does is shake his head in response.
"What are you doing tonight?" He asks, coming to sit at the table next to Emily.
"Nothing really." I shrug. "Planned on just hanging out at home and reading a book."
"Lame!" Quil and Jared shout simultaneously.
"I'm hosting a bonfire tonight if you would like to join."
"Please do!" Emily almost begs. "You can meet the other girls as well. Kim and Rachel, Jared's and Paul's girlfriends."
"Sure," I nod. "Why not?"
"Perfect!" She smiles. "Would you like to run into town with me? I need to grab some groceries for the barbeque."
"Of course. I don't have anything else to do."
"Let me go grab my purse."

"Hey, Emily. Can I ask you something?" I ask as we walk down another aisle to grab the things she needs.
"Ask away."
"Does Embry not like me or something?" I question. "Like, did I do something wrong? Or offend him in some way?"
"Of course not." She shakes her head at my words. "Why would you think that?"
"I don't know." I shrug, nervously fidgeting with the loose threads on my sweater. "He just seems closed off when I'm around. I just thought maybe it was something I did."
"That's just Embry." She reassures me. "He's always been more of an introvert compared to the other guys."
"You sure?"
"I'm positive." She stops walking and turns to face me. "Don't read too much into it. Just give him time. He'll come around." I nod in response, choosing to trust her words and expel those negative thoughts from my head. "Now come on, we only have a few more things to grab and I'm afraid those bozos might destroy the house if they are left alone too long." She giggles as she begins walking again, me following close behind.
When we return to the house, the guys are horsing around outside, as Emily and I head to the kitchen to put everything away. Once all of the groceries are in their rightful place, she begins to prep what will be needed for dinner.
"Is there anything I can help with?"
"No, I got it, but thanks." She politely declines. "Why don't you head outside. Or you can hang out in the living room and watch some TV. Whatever you want to do."
"You sure?"
"Yep."
I begin to make my way towards the door to go outside when I notice Embry sitting on the couch by himself. I hesitate briefly before making up my mind and stepping towards the living room instead.
"Hi, Embry." I speak softly, as not to startle him.
"Hey, Y/N." He greets, glancing at me over his shoulder and then turning his attention back towards the TV.
"What're watching?"
"Nothing, really. Just flipping through channels to see if anything good is on. So far, I've found nothing." He shrugs.
"Do you mind if I join you?"
"No, I don't mind." He scoots over to make room on the couch. We fall into a tense silence as he continues to flip through channels before he finally settles on a true crime show.
"Are you excited for the bonfire?" He asks, finally breaking the silence and turning his head to look at me, our gazes interlocking.
"Yeah, actually. I am." I reply, smiling. This is the first time we've had an actual conversation together since the one we had on the night we met and I can't help but feel giddy about it.
"Good." He nods, he lifts one of his hands to tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "You look beautiful, by the way."
"Oh, uh, thank you." I can feel my cheeks heat up instantly. "You do, too. Look handsome, I mean. Not beautiful. Not that you aren't beautiful, I just-" I blush harder as I stumble over my words.
"Thank you." He interrupts, chuckling softly.
Our conversation dies out as we stare into each other's eyes. However, the silence this time is much more comfortable. Without realizing it, we had begun to lean into each other. So close that our noses are almost touching.
"Can I-" Embry begins to speak but is cut off as Sam's voice carries through from the kitchen.
"Embry, come out. I need your help gathering the fire wood."
"Okay, be right there." He replies, backing away. "I'll talk to you in a bit, okay?"
"Okay. Yeah." I nod, another blush dusting my cheeks as I start to think about what would have happened if Sam hadn't come in.
Embry then gets up from his spot beside me, leaving me with a soft smile and following Sam out the door.

The bonfire burns brightly, providing some warmth against the chilly night air. I sit with the other girls, talking and laughing as the guys kick around a soccer ball off to the side. Just like Emily, Kim and Rachel are kind and inviting, making it easy to fall into comfortable conversation. Even Leah, despite her quiet nature.
"So, you and Embry, huh?" Rachel nudges my side gently with her elbow, wiggling her eyebrow suggestively.
"What about me and Embry?" I ask confused.
"Are y'all, like, a thing?" Kim is the one to ask the question.
"Oh, no. Definitely not." I shake my head, laughing at the incredulousness of the idea. "If you haven't noticed, he barely speaks to me."
"Which is kind of crazy to me because the guy can barely keep his eyes off of you." Rachel says.
"Right!" Kim exclaims. "Glad I'm not the only one who noticed."
"You're seeing things." I argue.
"But you like him though, don't you?" Leah asks.
"Would you think I'm crazy if I said yes?" I bite my lip nervously. "He. doesn't even give me the time if day. Today was the first time we've held a conversation that was longer than three words since the night we met, but I can't help but be drawn to him. Like some kind of invisible string is keeping me tied to him. I sound weird and obsessive, don't I?" I sigh, feeling embarrassed at my admission.
"Not at all." Emily smiles, providing me with some comfort. "Like I said earlier, just give him a little time."
"You should-" Before Rachel can finish what she is going to say, they sound of men arguing grabs all of our attention.
"I said back off, Paul!" Embry shouts angrily at his friend.
Paul laughs menacingly. "Oh yeah? Or what?"
Embry lets out what I can only describe as a deep growl as his body begins to shake in anger.
"Careful there, Call." He says mockingly. "Don't want to lose your cool in front of your girlfriend." Those words seem to be the final trigger, because on my next breath, Embry's clothes shred to pieces as he turns into a giant wolf.
All of the air leaves my lungs as the scene unfolds. Paul is next, shifting into a massive beast in the blink of an eye, right as Embry lunges for him. The two begin to fight, large jaws snapping at each other as they roll on the ground.
"What the actual fuck?" I whisper as I finally catch my breath.
"Leah, Emily." Sam calls. "Get her inside." As soon as the words leave his mouth, a black wolf, larger than the other two, takes the place where his once human form stood. The others soon follow, beginning to chase after the two who have now managed to tumble into the forest.
"Can someone please explain to me what the hell just happened?" I gasp out as we make our way into the living room.
"It's not really our place to say, but Sam can as soon as he gets back." Emily places a comforting yet firm hand on my shoulder, forcing me to take a seat on the couch.
"They're not gonna kill each other, are they?" The horrifying thought leaves my lips before I can stop it.
"No," Rachel shakes her head. "They'll be fine. This actually happens quite often."
"That doesn't make me feel any better." I look at her as if she is insane."
"Sam will calm them down, and then they will all return safely. Not scratch or bruise in sight." Kim explains. I nod, taking a deep breath.
"So they're werewolves?"
"We prefer the term 'Shifter'." Leah states.
"Can all of you do that?"
"Nope. Just me and the guys."
"You're the only female that can turn into a wolf?"
"The only one known." She nods.
"Okay." I nod, trying to process the new found information. "Wow! This is a lot to take in."
"You're handling it pretty well, though." Kim giggles. "I half expected you to run off screaming."
We sit waiting for about ten minutes, them answering the questions they are allowed to answer, before the door swings open. Jared, Quil, and Seth walk into the house, Sam, Paul, and Embry moments after.
"Sorry about that, Y/N." Paul laughs as he throws himself down on the floor in front of where Rachel sits.
"No problem." I respond before turning my attention towards Sam.
"I'm sure you have a few questions."
"That's the understatement of the century." Sam chuckles at my response as he begins to explain everything. Their history, abilities, what causes the first shift, what triggers every shift after, how they control it. He goes on for what feels like half an hour until he feels that he has covered everything.
"Now that that is out of the way, there is one more thing you must know, but it's best if you and Embry discuss that privately."
"Um...okay?" I turn to look at Embry, who is still standing next to the door.
"Can I give you a ride home?" He asks. "I'll explain on the way there."
"Sure." I nod, standing from the couch. "Thanks for inviting me. Despite all of the chaos, I really enjoyed spending time with you all."
"Of course, Y/N." Sam smiles gently. "You're welcome any time."

The first ten minutes of the twenty-minute drive pass in silence. Neither of us willing to break it, but eventually I speak, not being able to stand the tension anymore.
"Embry?" I call his name softly, my voice coming out as almost a whisper. "There was something you wanted to tell me."
"'Want' isn't exactly the word I would use, but I don't really have a choice." He sighs heavily. "For starters, I want to apologize. I didn't want to drag you into this. I tried to keep my distance, but my friends were hellbent on playing matchmakers. If it had been up to me, tonight wouldn't have ever happened."
"Oh." His words trigger an ache in my chest.
"It's not that there is anything wrong with you. You're great, actually. It's just that I didn't want to bring you into my world because it's too dangerous for you."
"Dangerous? How? What does any of this have to do with me?"
"That leads to my next point. There is this thing that us Shifters do. It's called imprinting." He explains as he slows the car down before pulling over to the side of the road and putting the car in park.
"Imprinting?" I ask as he turns to me, eyes locking onto mine.
"Yeah. In looser terms, it's kind of like finding our soulmate. The one person we are destined to be with. When we find our imprint, they instantly become the one thing in this world that we would do anything for. We will become anything they want or need us to be. A protector, a friend, a lover. They become the center of our whole world. The gravity that holds us to the Earth. Everything and everyone in our lives suddenly comes second to them."
"Are you saying that-"
"Yes," He nods, responding before I can finish my sentence as if he had read my mind. "That night we first met, on the beach in La Push, I imprinted on you. It's not something we can control, it just happens. We don't choose who we imprint on. The moment I looked into your eyes, my fate was sealed."
"Is that why you avoided me? Did you want it to be someone else?"
"No." He shakes his head. "I was avoiding you because bringing you into all of this is dangerous. There are other supernatural beings that exist, and just you breathing puts you in danger because of the connection we have."
"Other supernatural beings? Like what?"
"Vampires. Those are our biggest enemies and what triggered out phases."
"Vampires," I mutter his words back to him in disbelief. "Here in Forks?" He nods in response.
"So if you don't have control over the bond, what would happen if I didn't want it?" I question. "Not saying that I don't, just asking." I quickly explain.
"You could reject it, but it wouldn't be easy. For either of us. The longer we spend apart, the more it will begin to hurt. Not just emotionally but physically too. We would both grow weaker, and it would affect my shifting and other abilities."
"Wow."
"And I'm not saying that to scare you at all, just answering your question honestly."
"So what does that mean for us?"
"What do you want it to mean? Like I said, you are now my sole purpose of living. Your safety and well-being, your life, are now my greatest priority. I will be whatever you need me to be."
"Okay. So, if I wanted to pursue something romantically, would you only be doing it because you have to? Because I actually really like you. Like a lot. But I don't want to force you into anything that you don't actually want."
"I like you, too. And I'm not just saying that because of the bond. I do genuinely mean that. I know it didn't seem like it because of how I acted and how I treated you, but the more time I've spent around you, the more my feelings have grown. My feelings for you are real, they are just amplified by the connection we have."
"Okay."
"Is that want you want?" He asks. "To pursue this romantically?"
"Maybe." I shrug. "Do you?"
"I would like that." He smiles softly.
"Me too." I return with a smile of my own, subconsciously leaning closer to him. "We should probably take it slow though."
"Definitely." He responds, moving in more. Our noses brush gently as he speaks. "Would you be mad if I kissed you? Right now."
I shake my head at his question. "I think I would be more mad if you didn't"
That's all that needs to be said before he leans in the rest of the way and molds his lips softly to mine. Butterflies erupt in my stomach instantly. My body feels like it's on fire, but in a good way. His hand finds my cheek, angling me to deepen the kiss as both of mine find the nape of his neck, my fingers tangling in his hair.
Once we both run out of breath, he pulls back, pecking my lips a few more times.
"I should probably get you home." He whispers, resting his forehead against mine.
"Yeah, you probably should." I whisper back, brushing my lips against his softly. He groans softly, caving in and kissing me hard.
"Okay." He moves away to settle back into his seat. "For real, I need to get you home."
"Sorry." I blush.
"Don't apologize." He says. "I didn't mind at all. And now that I've gotten a taste of what its like to kiss you, I don't ever want to stop, but we've been sitting here for a while out in the middle of nowhere."
"You're right. Let's go."
The rest of the drive is spent with light conversation and giddy smiles shared between the two of us. He keeps my hand interlocked with his the whole time and places light pecks against the back of it every now and then. We finally make it to my house, much to my disappointment. Embry, being the gentleman he is, walks me to the door.
"I guess this is goodnight, then." He says, hands still holding mine tightly, as if he doesn't want to let go.
"I mean, it doesn't have to be." He quirks an eyebrow at the insinuation behind my words. "Do you want to come in?"
"I shouldn't." He shakes his head, releasing one of my hands so I can unlock my front door.
"But I think you should." I open the door, tugging on his hand as I step inside. I watch as he battles with whether he should decline or give in. I wait patiently as he makes his decision.
"Fuck it!" He finally says before diving in for a kiss, kicking the door closed behind us as we stumble into the house.

Tsuzuru: Then there'd be no point to any of this.
Izumi: We went over this extensively yesterday.
Masumi: ...Then video call me daily. 24 hours a day.
Itaru: Scary.
Tsuzuru: You're sticking to her even more closely than when we're in the dorms.
Izumi: Everything will get back to normal in no time.
Muku: It's only for now.
Kumon: It'll be like going on summer vacation.

Tsumugi: I'm off. Thanks for looking after the dorm.

Tenma: Are you serious?
Izumi: Not at all. But, considering everything, I think this is the best way to go.
Izumi: If we all work together, I'm sure we won't lose to Amadate.
Izumi: But I definitely don't want to put everyone in danger.
Izumi: That threatening e-mail demanded that the troupe be disbanded, right?
Izumi: So I thought it would be a good idea to have everyone move out of the dorms and pretend that the troupe has been disbanded.
Sakyo: If rumors of disbanding get out, even Amadate might be fooled by it.
Izumi: If we all work together and gather enough materials to corner Amadate in the meantime, we might be able to resume our performances with peace of mind.
Izumi: Honestly, because of this situation, I want all of us to be together. I don't want us to fall apart.
Izumi: But we have to break up for everyone's safety for now.
Izumi: Even if we live in different places, I believe that we'll all continue feeling the same way.
Sakuya: Izumi...
Izumi: What will you do now, Itaru and Chikage?
Itaru: I can't relax at my parents' house because my older sister is there, so I'll just rent a monthly apartment for a while.
Chikage: For me, well, I have a lot of places available to me.
Itaru: Will Sakuya be staying with you?
Chikage: I have a place I can prepare for him.
Citron: I'll be living in a hotel for a while, so you can stay with me!
Itaru: As expected of a celebrity.
Tsuzuru: My house is small and noisy, but I can arrange for a place to sleep.
Masumi: There’s plenty of rooms at my place. You don't have to come though.
Itaru: Then why even bother pointing that out.
Sakuya: Thank you very much. But I’ve already decided where to go, so I’ll be fine.
Chikage: Is that so?
Izumi: Where will you be staying?
Sakuya: Kasumi was the first to invite me, so I'm planning to stay with him for just one night.
Izumi: For one night? What about after that…?
Sakuya: I've been seriously thinking over what I can do and what I wanted to do until I stepped on stage as Saku again.
Sakuya: So I thought about going on my first ever solo trip before the performance, but I gave up on doing it because there wasn’t much time.
Sakuya: Besides, I also have homework that you gave me, Izumi!

Tsumugi: I agree, as Izumi said, it might be best to pretend to break up.
Sakyo: If we want to be safe, that's the way to go.
Izumi: Oh, and one more thing, if you don't mind, I have some homework for you.
Izumi: While you're away from the dorm, I want you all to think about what your life would be like if you hadn't joined Mankai Company.
Izumi: Then compare that hypothetical life with the life you have now and the life you want in the future.
Izumi: After finding your reason why you want to stand on the Mankai stage as a member of this theater company, I hope you all come back.
Muku: That's...
Izumi: Of course, I haven’t given up on our future performances or the Fleur Award.
Izumi: But, in this current situation where we're at our lowest, I don't know for sure when we will be able to perform together again.
Izumi: I don't want to leave everyone in a dark situation where the future is uncertain.
Izumi: That's why I want each of you to step away from the company and reconsider your reasons for wanting to remain in the company.
Izumi: If everyone comes back after doing that, I'm sure the new Mankai Company will become a theater company stronger and more united than ever before.
Izumi: Of course, no matter what conclusion you reach, I will support that answer.
Izumi: So, please...
Juza: Got it. I'll take this opportunity to face myself again.
Azami: It could be a good opportunity.
Sakuya: After hearing your words, I felt like I could finally face my hometown, which I’ve been afraid to confront for so long.
Sakuya: I am sure that now is the time for me to set off on my journey. I'm not afraid anymore because I know you will be here waiting for me.
Izumi: I see...
Izumi: (When I think back to during our debut performance when he played as Romeo, he was terrified that his place would be taken away from him. He has grown up a lot since then.)
Izumi: I hope you have a safe and enjoyable journey. Please be careful.
Sakuya: Look forward to seeing your souvenirs! I’ll be off!

DA: dogguard Veilguard opinion (crossposted + expanded from twitter)
I only know about dragon age through osmosis, my friend is playing it while I sit in, and so far my major criticism of VG is that the game is flanderizing its own characters at breakneck speeds and the banter feels incredibly weak DESPITE that aspect being one of the more signature traits of DA
regardless of how the journey ultimately goes, it's an experience that I'm taking notes on as a game/narrative designer for MushRush since you will be carting around a similar number of fantastical companions
read more has more scattershot, but specific thoughts; contains spoilers up to after having JUST finished recruiting all of the companions
disclaimer: I don't know shit about DA LORE, so I'll probably misspell locations, etc., I don't care enough to correct any of it.
the early game has real "shaky first draft" issues where characters repeat themselves or say nothing insightful or at least entertaining. it's gotten better since after the mayor in d'meta, but there have still been some instances of dialogue triggering that makes rook come across as hilariously unobservant such as them noting there are "a lot of undead" in the necropolis you pick up emmrich in. dead bodies in MY NECROPOLIS???
another part that sticks out to me is that the female characters are getting shafted hard since they are all (mostly) introduced before the male characters, so the "1st draft writing pains" get assigned to them
however, neve is unfortunately the Worst Companion so far, followed by harding (will elaborate on her later).
I still don't have a grasp on what neve's companion hook even is- even AFTER letting minathrous get dragon nuked. all I got was "neve is sarcastic and dry and job-oriented, followed around by sprites???" which is a shame since a mage detective should BE ENOUGH but she doesn't have the GRIT of a noir detective or the clever observations of one who is more holmes-aligned. her room does more to characterize her, which is good for the art team but a shame to the writers (even as they try to pepper in more interesting traits about her through other characters)
so we have to fall back to what the game DOES tell us, such as approval/disapproval, of the 2 instances of her showing disapproval, we couldn't figure out WHY she disapproved. (1st was doubting varric could convince solas to stop fucking up everything, 2nd was for leaving the mayor in his fucked up town)
my friend and I formed several theories for something internally consistent:
-neve doesn't like it when you assume the worst of people (tall ask considering what solas was actively doing, but it's a BELIEF) -neve doesn't like it when you doubt/question authority/authority figures -neve believes the gods truly override people (my friend joked "SECRET CHANTRY GIRLIE??") -neve doesn't like that we are "being mean to a man" (this is a joke I made) -neve is a contrarian because when you only have two characters, someone HAS to have a different opinion (this is purely meta and still poorly executed)
whatever it is that makes neve tick, we're probably not going to find out since she's HARDENED or w/e because we chose birdbatman over her (my friend was aware of the effects of the choice locking out Neve/Lucanis content, but debated over the choice because of the LORE, the tipping point occurred when I asked if they cared about Neve content which was an obvious NO)
TL;DR: we are currently getting more mileage/chuckles out of "NEVE DISAPPROVES" during choices than from anything the game intends, UNFORTUNATELY

next up is harding, harding is a perfectly normal character with some obvious insecurities and now having to grapple with magic. unfortunately the writers have tipped their hand that they care more about harding's LORE ties with the titans/gods than as a character
the most awkward handing of this is when we did harding's personal sidequest of trying to get a handle on her powers (perfectly fine!), but then it just abruptly STOPS because we help some random fucking guy in the forest
the real nail in the coffin came when she (essentially) went "solas seems sad tho )8", despite being the same character that hated she didn't shoot him to stop the inciting incident. I personally would have appreciated if she had more doubts/expressed conflicts about her action/inaction, about it but as-is, the exchange feels WAY too much like the writers taking shortcuts to make solas grey (or god forbid, "GOOD", ACTUALLY). varric is already running interference, having harding do it too just tells me they're willing to throw other characters under the bus to accomplish this annoying goal.
as an aside: when this conversation occurred I said something to the effect of "Harding, no!! Don't make us throw you into the basement with Neve!!!"

returning back to the point of how the female characters seem to be suffering a lack of writing effort compared to the male ones- bellera is a noticeable example of this.
her characterization is purely fixated on magictech (fine), she gets more character as soon as emmrich gets introduced (not bad in a vacuum), but despite being present with harding and neve, the most conversation she seems to have is that she can cook different foods and neve wants in on some of the cooking. again it could have been "1st draft" pains, but given how fixed the party is at the start, they should have something more going on, ESPECIALLY since harding and bellera disagree with neve on how the mayor and d'meta was handled! bellera supposedly had people she cared about in this town and she glosses over it fairly quickly. also there's a relative lack of reaction to harding (or neve)'s injuries from the solas event.

character flanderization as mentioned WAY back at the start, this problem is (too) quickly made apparent with lucanis
I thought the mention of the coffee (WRT to dealing with spite) was intended as a throwaway line and something that would stay confined to the sidequest, instead it comes up in the banter as well, in addition to him being the demon of whatever (and now having a literal demon, har har). the 'most' interesting banter so far is when bellera asks how lucanis's situation even happened, and it's not BAD but I felt there was flavor missing to the exchange
since both characters are noted to be the "good" cooks of the companions, I thought it could hint at how lucanis's favoring of cooking is NOT out of niceness but because he doesn't trust other people to it since he is 1) a fucking assassin ("he stabs people", I don't care, poison exists and he's the grandson of the crow mafia), 2) was force-fed something that saddled him with spite
like I know there's more parts here, but SURELY something spicier and/or more natural than just the point-blank answer, the man was betrayed and landed in prison for a year AND is supposed to be operating on a lack of sleep because of spite, he can be a little snippy about how his bodily autonomy was violated

the last recruits:
davrin (at this time) ends up being on the upper end of characters since he's the MOST GROUNDED/NORMAL. he's fine and closest to what neve was probably intended to be, skeptical, has a dry sense of humor, but can trip up rook (our rook didn't recognize that a name davrin held a grudge against is historical). it probably helps he has assan to bounce off of so he can tread closer to have a 3rd dimension of personality (it's TOO early to tell)
emmrich is a professor of necromancy, he's polite/nice but also has no problems with magicking skellieboys into servitude, I'm hoping this old man has some spice going on. also it's a crime he puts on his human face when he has a SKELLIE FACE. COWARDS. I'll forgive it a little since at least he still gets to be OLD, instead of some freakishly smooth bishonen.
taash is a horse girl(TM) but for dragons. they also have hints of relationship with a controlling mother, I have no expectations of this. I'm hoping this isn't another lucanis flanderization situation but that's probably a different game.
the lords of fortune thing is bullshit however, "yeah we steal items but return cultural artifacts" that better be a PR thing purely b/c rook is in the room, otherwise, holy shit I'm dying. like, writers, I could understand some cultural favoritism, but ALL cultural artifacts? what the hell are you talking about??

now a main plot writing quibble, just to round it out:
the treviso occupation is driving me insane that they really said with their full narrative mouth that the place with NO military but an ASSASSIN'S GUILD couldn't figure out how to deal with the MOST hierarchy-based military occupying them??? like I get that wouldn't instantly (or permanently) end it, but it just feels absurd!!! what kind of assassin guild doesn't know how to kill ONE GUY, especially when he gives speeches in open areas!
it's just such a HARD SELL that the assassin guild can be so bad at assassination short of some 5d chess backdoor dealings involving the mindrape potions that the antaam were apparently cooking up while avoiding having it traced back to them or something
as for the minrathous/treviso choice, it feels like a missed opportunity to have the macguffin knife be what actually drives the dragon off
like, I KNOW that rook/the player is the center of the world, but you don't LOSE anything by tweaking that detail either, it just comes off as ridiculous that "3" (1) people really would make a difference
anyway, thanks for reading, that was a mountain, we'll see how DA:VG continues

When Feferi finds the Queen, she is still hard at work in the Throne Room, dealing with the lingering issues of her morning "Court" appearance. Which, essentially, entails the Queen sucking off/eating out whoever is presenting pressing issues that will need to be seriously dealt with at later times. Fortunately, it doesn't take TOO LONG for Wendy to work her way through those waiting for her service (due to her skill), but she is still kept QUITE BUSY.
When she is FINALLY freed up, Wendy greets Feferi with a weary smile, before moving to comply with the command. The two barely make it out of the Throne Room before Wendy has to offer her service to the two Guards, of notably higher station than the rank & file, who man the doors. The two proceed to, after a moment of hesitance & private discussion, decide upon spitroasting the Queen. They hold back at first, but get into it towards the end, getting a little rougher than one might expect, but remaining overall respectful.
One thing Feferi might note, both in the Throne Room & out of it, is that the loads that Wendy doesn't swallow are quickly gotten rid of, as are all other traces of bodily fluids. Despite her current predicament, the Queen is kept immaculately clean, not wanting to be off-putting in any way. And, of course, wanting to minimize the need to clean up after her.
The journey through the halls is, well, a mixed bag. Many employees greet the Queen as respectfully as they can, given the circumstances, trying not to ogle, fondle, or otherwise bother her as she goes about her day. However, she can hardly travel between hallway intersections without getting stopped for a blowjob, a titfuck, bent against the wall or over a piece of furniture to be railed, over a piece of furniture, of bent against/pressed against the wall to be railed hard. She also has to pose for more than a few lewd photos.
As they go along, Wendy explains that, due to inefficiency from the previous day, she's waving her office hours. There's not much point in going, considering she won't get much done.
Around mid-modning, they make their way to the Sanitation Associate's areas. Wendy spends a lot of time on her knees, eating out/sucking off each & every Maid/Janitor, getting fucked by a few, & cleaning cum off of various (sanitary) surfaces with her tongue. The Groundskeepers are pretty kind to Wendy, honestly. Another check-in with her Advisors & the Palace Officials sees her giving more head. While she is still treated respectfully, she has to be REMINDED to pay attention a few times...
By far, the most intensive stop is security. Between the Guards, the Rooks, & the Guards Captains, Wendy is kept BUSY. Long Thing - chunk 1 (small) and chunk 2 (medium-big) have a HEAVY-DUTY outline with almost no bullshit in it now. chunk 3 (BIG) might also have that; I just haven't actually manifested it into a document yet (ran out of sunday). chunk 4 (medium-big again) has the makings of Real Outlineability as well but it'll probably fight me more when I start actually trying to make it real. chunk 5 (medium?) is slowly orbiting closer and closer to me in my dreams. 6 (???) and 7 (small) are phantoms still; don't rush them. they're shy.
Highly E-Rated Thing - haven't worked on it because the 2 above projects are so Perfectly Balanced. it will choose its moment.
AFM chapter 5 - similarly it will choose its moment. for instance a moment when I am like way too full of beans & need something to put a lot of brain thoughts into.

next: I'm gonna talk to myself below the cut I'm thinking about THE PROCESS.
*elaborates on Long Fucking Thing some more because that's what I use like 3/4 of my brain for all the time now* it's interesting to see plot arcs shape up / to have a way to really consciously note "this part still might need This kind of thing," for reasons:
because both the story & the way I'm working on it are nonlinear, sometimes the note I'm making is "if you haven't established that Event A happened by this point, the scene that has to go here for thematic coherency reasons will not make. logical sense" (genuinely very funny thing to have to consider)
a LOT of the places where I currently have "uh think harder about this later" types of notes are like. have directly to do w/ Facts And Lore that are tangential to the story but critical to the worldbuilding (which REALLY makes them NOT tangential to the story. they're formative and important it's just that I have to Decide Them backwards to make sure they're forming the story elements in the direction I already want those to be going)
I'm realizing by thinking about the Process in this way that this is all very related to the Reasons the latter half of the fic is still pretty up in the air. It works like this okay bear with me:
I start with emotional beats I find compelling. Then I string together facts and events that make them important + create a compelling narrative arcs-and-themes-ways. Then I retroactively define the worldstate and LoreFacts based on "what would make this string of happenings happen in a way that isn't stupid". (I Am Currently Here). As the World Facts become more rigidly defined, I run into "things I should either address or change an existing Something to avoid addressing," and like this the places where there aren't currently things like "scenes" or "concrete events" gradually get filled in.
The concrete Things That Need To Happen in the final 3 chunks of this fic depend so heavily on the WORLDSTATE that it's been impossible to generate most of them up until now. I have to finish (~) defining Facts (based on the emotional beats I already know how I'll be covering in the first half of the story) before I can get my gay little fingers in there and start tying things into cute little bows. THIS MAKES A SHOCKING AMOUNT OF SENSE SOMEHOW I'M so used to writing smedium-length things where half the time I write the VERY end first because that's where ALL the emotional payoff lives.
NOT SO THIS TIME. THERE IS EMOTIONAL PAYOFF ALL OVER THE FIRST HALF OF THIS THING & it would probably be difficult and inadvisable to do a whole lot more with the second half before I make sure I know what shrimplications I'm shrimplying based on (checks my watch for some reason) like 3 entire Structural Plot Arcs of Gay BullShit. huh.

Come Home with Me (reprise)
Alright, this is part of an ongoing project of playing with Hadestown, in order to address what I consider to be some dramaturgical issues in the latest version.
This is going off of the other edits made in this post, which 1) change the order of the first few songs so that Orpheus and Eurydice are escalating more smoothly in closeness, 2) so that Orpheus actually uses his music in community AND as a first gesture to Eurydice, and 3) so that the magic love song isn't something that Orpheus is doing intentionally nor is it something that Hermes explains to him....leaving that realization for Epic III, with Hades and Persephone. Goals are a smoother escalation to romance & revolution alike, and a clearer theory of change w/r/t the magic love melody, (among other things). Most of this is restructuring rather than re-writing -- consider it just another contribution to Working on a Song, an unofficial other version, among many.
If I were re-structuring Hadestown, this is how I would do Come Home With Me (reprise).
So -- Eurydice has just finished singing Flowers.

LINER NOTES:
This pulls a lot from the NYTW version of "Come Home w/ Me (reprise)." I'll talk about some examples as we get to them, but yeah, a lot of it comes from there, although reshuffled a fair bit.
I added the "your name is like a melody" -- it's switched now from Orpheus to Eurydice singing it. This is a moment of love, and a reference to the cosmic force of their love ("known from long ago"), with a line that will end up being paralleled later with Persephone and Hades (in my other edits, I took the "song of love from long ago / long time since I've heard it though" and gave it to Hades/Seph after the last Epic). But it's also contending with both the alienation and loss of identity & memory she's experienced in Hadestown (see "so what was your name again, you've already forgotten" in Way Down Hadestown reprise), and the betrayal that they have been separated for a long time. In real time, she's remembering and processing and realizing what's happened
"Before I left I called your name" up to "I missed you," they are each just rhyming with themselves (Eurydice: name / came, Orpheus: to / you) -- they're talking past each other a bit, trying to say what hadn't been said before. they're not really going to deal with this until Promises, so they're not really hearing each other here. these lines are standing in for the apologies and acknowledgements and real reckoning that aren't being said
"I missed you" parallels Hades -- he's still in a bit of a selfish love in this moment, because he still isn't really seeing and understanding her perspective and experience
"I sang a song and the rocks recalled everything that's beautiful. the stones all wept and they let me in. and i can sing us home again" -- it's a little unwieldy for the melody, but I like the addition of "the rocks recalled" -- it's always felt oddly egotistical for orpheus to show up and be like "I sang a superfuckingpretty song." Instead, it's not about the song, it's about the impact on the listener. Which for me is just a necessary thematic shift throughout. And, the emphasis on recalled aligns with her process of remembering herself, and foreshadows the workers remembering their humanity. Lastly, in this phrase, he both gets on board with her rhyme scheme, and then takes them somewhere else. He's actually listening and responding for a moment (wall / recall / beautiful / all), and then asks her to go somewhere else with him (in / again)
"are you always this certain" in NYTW is "confident" which doesn't quite feel like the right word. I've had "sure" in a previous draft, because I liked the association with "surefooted" (and the fact that he is surefooted...when he can look at her). But, "certain" rhymes with "again," and this does feel like a moment where she's starting to match him, is willing to be possibly caught up in his vision.
'when I look at you / when you look at me what do you see' is almost verbatim from the NYTW version. And I think it's important, because it's a way of him forgiving her for leaving, a moment of starting to see and acknowledge her pain and struggle, and it sets up how much not being able to see her is going to be a problem in a few short songs. Also, the "say I do" and getting down on a knee -- it just has to happen! Otherwise the "I do" in papers is...what? to nothing! And the parallel to both the beginning AND the end of a young man down on bended knee? Come on.
The one thing I took out from here is: Eurydice's "why are you getting on your knees" / Orpheus "I'm asking you to marry me" that came between "I see my wife / Marry me." First, because it's a hat on a hat -- we see him doing it, we don't need to hear it. And, because it lets Orpheus do the thing he's done a couple times here, which is match her rhyme scheme, and then take it somewhere else, within his lines. "at me / you see / than me / I see / marry me" -> "I do / ask you to".
Eurydice's "It isn't beautiful" is also from NYTW -- she still needs him to understand her reality, and I think she's entitled to that sadness and bitterness. I did add one bit here, which was the lines "do you see the world?" "I do", which in the first NYTW Come Home W Me are part of this section: Orpheus: do you see the world / Eurydice: I do / Orpheus: I'll make it beautiful for you. So flipping it, she's forcing him to see her world. And, he's now the first to say "I do"
with the rhyme scheme I mentioned above, adding this line also creates this bit where they're circling each other's rhymes, as he goes backwards to her rhyme with "eurydice" and after dropping out of rhyme entirely for a minute she pushes him back into his rhyme "I do" only for it to rhyme with her refuting his idea rather than accepting it "doesn't change for me and you, no matter how much we want it to". She's trying to force him to see, by forcing him into her rhyme
"please come home, I'm not going back alone" is from NYTW, but comes at the very beginning there. I moved it later here, because it's sort of his last plea -- and, it's him refusing to match her rhyme scheme. do / you / to....and he just won't match it. home/alone -- he still doesn't get it, can't understand/accept it
...and then she refuses to match him. can't / can / understand / young man -- she's driving them towards the assonance/rhyme and rhythm of Hadestown, which leads right into the entrance of Hades. We also have the flip from "I can't" to "we can" -- once again his focus on togetherness, which is his strength, and will also be his, and their, downfall
Have I thoroughly overthought this? Yep! Enjoy!

now, granted, since the earlier comics themselves are full of contradictions as to whether or not kon does or doesn't have kryptonian dna vs whether he's a regular human with a kryptonian-imitation metagene... there's several ways to interpret him, certainly. i, personally, live in the camp of "he's like, 99.7% kryptonian, with a bit of human dna thrown in there bc they had problems and issues for w/e reason with full kryptonian dna". to me, this is the best bridge between all the various kon origin canons - he originally thought that bit of human came from paul westfield, then later found out it was actually lex luthor, so there can still be some crisis there, but he's MOSTLY kryptonian, as (sometimes) stated in sb94. i'd go find citations but i'm on a time crunch here.
(i know there are also parts in sb94 and also iirc reign of the supermen that state he's Just A Guy w a kryptonian-esque metagene, but at least to me that's unsatisfying bc like... i KNOW comic logic is bonkers, but cmon. he's weak to kryptonite. he gets supercharged by solar energy. if he didn't process sunlight the same way a kryptonian does, kryptonite should have no effect on him. and if the argument is that a metagene mimics the kryptonian condition to THAT EXTENT, it just... feels like. really. occam's razor baby, it's easier to simply say He Is At Least In Part Kryptonian.)
SO. THAT ALL BEING SAID. a) geoff stop being like "lex is his father" again do you even understand what cloning MEANS. b) geoff aside, it's absolutely so bizarre that there's a whole chunk of comics that call lex kon's father in any way WITHOUT doing the same for clark. it's been said before and i'm sure it'll be said again, but... seriously that's just wack i don't even need to get into it bc. hello.
but the point is, this all leads into the "what is kon to clark" debate, right? bc if genetically, he's like clark's twin but a bit to the left, maybe that's more "little brother" ish, etc etc. but on the other hand, given that the comic narrative does keep trying to push a parental role on kon's human dna donor (once that donor is retconned into being lex), it's Strange not to let clark into that role as well. and people can go back and forth on this until we're all blue in the face but i think it comes down to just...
there is no one cut and dry nuclear family role that fits the two of them. there just isn't. to insist kon is just 100% clark's son and point at the post-retcon comics as evidence is reductive; to insist kon is just 100% clark's little brother and point to the pre-retcon comics as evidence is also reductive. kon is somewhere in between. he's neither. he's both. there is just no equivalent nuclear family role that fits him and clark to a T.
which i know i've said before and i'm SURE i'll say again but sue me, this just lives in my mind rent free. mostly kryptonian kon who is an undefined family member to clark and who is NOT family to lex (oh god i can write a whole other essay about this) is the hill i will die on.
(also, largely unrelated side note that has just been bugging me since i read tt03: that time kara's fighting titans of tomorrow kon and is like "you may be half kryptonian, but i'm the real thing!" or whatever that was. do you ever read something and go Wow! There Were Literally No Mixed People Involved In The Creation Of This 😬😬😬!!!! i have soooo many gripes w the tt03 interpretation of kon and his genetics but this is a HUGE ONE. any and all focus on his genes in this way automatically becomes allegorical for real life mixed ppl and its just. yikes, scoob! stop trying to do any sort of mixed kid narrative and meet me in the fucking pit geoff johns)

Replying to this is cursed (I've tried twice THREE TIMES and uploading pictures just consistently breaks the ask). And now I'm having to literally transcribe my previous answer word for word because it will only show my previous answer indented which is driving me up the wall lmao.
OKAY. Tl;dr is that no, I don't make notes 95% of the time, and when I do have them, I forget to use them.
I didn't make preliminary notes for The Golden Age that Never Was. It was a fic I winged. Winging means no notes. The only page I have was made right at the end, after chapter 50, when I was figuring out where all the 'closure' scenes would go, so that I didn't forget any of the cast.
I haven't updated my Fae Tales worldbuilding notes since 2017 overall. I do have some Ice Plague notes but mostly I just rely on my chapter plan and searching through the story.
If I need to remember something, I search through the story to find it. My worldbuilding tends to come in the form of writing tiny phone notes (usually just one or two sentences that only make sense to me), and then I think about the world, and then I write the world. A huge amount of it is just in my head. There are exceptions, but I can't show you screenshots without breaking the ask! *shakes fist at Tumblr.*
My ADHD just personally makes this whole note thing kind of not workable for me. The process of making elaborate notes and having to constantly refer back to them ruins the process of writing for me. Imho, writing notes is not writing the story, and all I generally want to do once I have an idea is write the fic.
Not all writer's are the same! I'm not the person you need for this one, anon. You need to find someone else who is actually known for using notes a lot in their writing process. I have no consistent pattern for taking notes, I prefer not to make them, and I frequently forget to refer to the files when I have them.
If I have the energy later I'll try and make a separate post with note screenshots etc. but spending like an hour on this today has been a little demoralising (it's not your fault anon, it's that Tumblr broke every time I tried to upload a pic, and destroyed each answer again and again). And also I just...don't have a system for note-taking and mostly what people will see is how chaotic I am 'behind the scenes' lmao.

You sat across from Pil-do, trying to read him but still couldn't figure him out. Was he truly as cold as some of the officers said, or was he merely hiding the fact that he had a soft, kind heart?
Biting, on your pencil, you still stared at him looking at him as if you were having a day dream.
Pil-do: You shouldn't do that.
Y/n: Huh? You said, as you were pulled out of your train of thought.
Pil-do: You shouldn't bite your pencil, it'll damage your teeth. He replied, looking up at you from his paper work.
Y/n: Oh...haha, yeah I only do that when I'm in deep though. You said, as you rubbed your head.
Pil-do: Deep though? What were you thinking about, that had your mind all frozen?
Y/n: Nothing...nothing at all.
Pil-do: Mm.
Ji-Woo: Detective Jeon.
Pil-do: Yes.
Ji-Woo: It's about the case. Could we go somewhere e-
Y/n: No need. It's lunch time and most of the rooms will be filled, so you both can stay here and talk about the case. You smiled, as you got up. Oh, do you want anything from the restaurant? I'm going to the place 5 blocks away, and it would be fair if you both didn't get lunch.
Pil-do: Yes. Anything will do.
Ji-Woo: Thank you, Y/n. Could you please bring me Kimchi fried rice?
Y/n: Sure thing. You winked, as you gave them a thumbs up.
Driving to the restaurant, you were extremely preoccupied that you didn't notice the black truck following you. After ordering, and waiting for your food, you stepped outside the building to take a call from your mother when suddenly a bag was placed of your head.
Freaking out, you trashed around, trying to get out of the kidnappers grip but noting happened. Trying once more, you got lose when they hit your head causing you to black out.
Waking up, you saw you were in a room, a room that looked like your typical bad guy hide out.
Gang-jae: Well, well, she finally wakes up.
Y/n: Gang-jae? W...let me go. You said, squirming in your seat.
Gang-jae: Awe, now why would I do that pretty? He said, as he took your face in his hands. I need you to get to Detective Ji-Woo. You see, she's the one that did this to my face, and she's the one that destroyed everything. That's why I need you to be the bait, and although it pains me to have such a beautiful creature like yourself be...mm...killed,id much rather have preferred to have you around. He said with a wink, that made you shake of discuss.
Y/n: You'll never g-
You were cut off as he taped your mouth shut, Gang-jae moved in and kissed you through the tape and walked away.
Gang-jae: Don't worry pretty, I'll make sure to send your regards.
You shook your head, trying to get out but nothing. Nothing was happening, you needed to get loose and quick to warn them. A while later, Gang-jae came back with some of his thugs telling them to rough you up a little, to make it look realistic for your friends to came and save you. To make it look like a matter of life or death.
With every punch, kick and slap, all you could think of was your two co-workers, ad what would happen to them.
A while later, you could see the moon shining in through the roof. Your whole body was aching, you felt like you wanted to just fall asleep and wake up after a year or two but that wasn't the case.
You heard footsteps, looking up from the ground you saw Pil-do. Pil-do placed his hand on his lips, showing you to keep quiet. After taking off the tape, he untied your feet followed by your wrists. The instant you were freed, your body automatically fell forward.
Pil-do: I've got you. He said, as he picked you up carrying you to the car.
All the while heading to the car, you heard a lot of officers running around the building to find any gang members they could find.
Pil-do: Officer Yo, drive to the hospital as fast as you can.
Y/n: P...Pil-do? You whispered, trying to stay awake.
Pil-do: Y/n, stay awake, we're on our way to the hospital. Everything's going to be okay...your going to be okay. He said, holding you in his arms, as he sat in the back seat of the police vehicle as he held your face while running his thumb up and down your cheek.
Time skip
Pil-do Pov
I watched y/n, as she laid in the hospital bed. With severe bruises, and some cuts y/n was going to be fine which stopped me from worrying. I couldn't move, all I wanted was to stay by her side until she woke up.
I was going threw the messages of the case on my phone, when I heard a familiar voice talking.
Y/n: Mm...Pil-do? Y/n, whispered as she shifted in the bed.
Pil-do: Y/n. I said, as I got up from the couch and sat gently on the bed.
Y/n: You came for me?
Pil-do: Of course, why wouldn't I?
Y/n: I...it was a trap...Gang-jae, set up a trap-
Pil-do: To catch Ji-Woo. I know. I said, as I ran my hand through her hair.
Y/n: I tried...i tried everything to get loose, so that I could c- she cut herself off as she coughed.
Pil-do: Here...drink some water.
I helped her sit up, as I gave her the water. Y/n drank some, and looked up at me as I placed the cup on the table.
Y/n: Pil-do?
Pil-do: Yes.
Normal pov
You moved forward, as you placed your arms around Pil-do's waist hugging him softly.
Y/n: Thank you...for saving me.
Pil-do: I'll always be there to save you, y/n. He replied, as he returned the hug.
You pulled away slightly locking eyes with Pil-do's. Leaning up, you placed a kiss on Pil-do's cheek, slowly coming back down to sit on the bed.
Pil-do: Y...you should get some rest, I'm going to stay here until Ji-Woo comes in the morning.
Y/n: You should go home and get some sleep.
Pil-do: I can't do that, they might come back y/n and who says they won't kill you this time? That's why I can't leave.
Nodding, you laid down covering yourself with the blanket facing Pil-do. Closing your eyes you drifted into sleep, but it barely lasted long until you jumped up screaming.
Pil-do: Y/n? Pil-do asked, as he jumped up running over to you.
Y/n: No-
Pil-do: Y/n, calm down. It's okay, it's just me. Pil-do said, as he hugged you tightly.
Y/n: No...please...dont l...lwt them take me again. You cried, as you held onto his jacket tightly.
Pil-do: Y/n-
Y/n: *cries* I...it was awful...*cries* I'm s...scared *cries*I'm so scared, I can't get that bastards face out of my mind *cries*
Pil-do: It's okay, I'm here...im not going anywhere y/n. Pil-do said, as he soothed you gently.
Two days later
Y/n: Are you sure I can stay here? I mean I don't want you to go out of your way, for me.
Pil-do: It's no problem. It's quite a big place, and it'll be safer until we catch them. He replied, as he put the bags in the room.
Y/n: How can I ever repay you, for your kindness?
Pil-do: You can make some of your delicious mochi.
Y/n: Deal.
Pil-do left on a phone call he received, leaving you alone in your room. The full length mirror was standing there, breathing in you lifted your shirt looking over the bruises that Gang-jae left on your body.
Pil-do heard a whimber and ran to the room. Running in, he saw you in your bra frozen as you look at him.
Y/n: I-you tried to scramble to get anything to cover up.
Pil-do: Don't. He said, as he came closer, so close you were barley touching.
Pil-do, lightly traced his fingers on the bruises that were on your body. He looked at the bruises that were on your hip, chest, stomach and legs. Shivering at his touch, your tears from before dripped on his arm which caused him to stop and look at you.
Pil-do, leaned in holding your face in his hands as he kissed you. Your eyes were wide, your arms that were by your side lifted as they held onto his arms as you kissed back.
Pil-do picked you up, your legs instant wrapping around his waist and arm around his neck as you deepened the kiss.
Placing you gently on the bed, Pil-do hovered over you kissing you again but instantly stopped himself.
Pil-do: Y...you should recover fir-
Y/n: You won't hurt me, I trust you. You said, as you smile gently up at him.
Pil-do: Are you sure?
Siting up, you held Pil-do's face and kissed him softly.
Y/n: Positive. Biting your lip, you kissed Pil-do again, as your hands ran down to take off his shirt.

Disgarding his shirt, Pil-do pulled you onto his lap and deepened the kiss if that was possible.
Pil-do: I love you...y/n. Pil-do said, in between breaths.
Y/n: I love you too.

You looked over at Pil-do that was sleeping soundly, not being able to hide your smile you gently ran your fingers in his hair.

Y/n: 2:00 am.
Pil-do: Why aren't you sleeping. He asked, as he opened his eyes sleepely.
Y/n: I...well...it's...-
Pil-do: Still the nightmares?
Y/n: Yes. You replied, as you tried to get out of the bed. I should...um...ahh-
Pil-do: No. Your staying here with me. Just put your head on my chest. What about this way. He said as he took you in his arms, both laying on your side facing each other. As he held you close to him, his chin on your head, as your was in his neck.
Y/n: This feels nice.
Pil-do: It is. I want to wake up like this everyday with you y/n. I want to hold you in my arms every night as we fall asleep. Would you...would you stay with me? Pil-do questioned, as he whispered in your hair.
Y/n: Yes. After everything, I would walk away Pil-do...that'll mean I'll be walking away from the man I fell in love with.
Pil-do: Great answer. But even if you left, I'd still be chasing after the one I love.

Tobias almost laughed at the idea that two broken arms and a broken hand was them going easy on him. He stopped himself, only because he knew that things could be far, far worse.
“Want to eat something?" Alex asked. "I have some human food in my place due to- Do you want food?”
Tobias took note of the pause. Maybe Alex had a human pet of his own, and that's why he had human food around. But if that was the case, why would he be ashamed of it? He's a part of one of the most prominent vampire crime families this side of the country; he could have as many pet bloodbags as he wanted. Tobias knew better than to expect vampires to hold to human morality.
Tobias tucked the information away for later examination. For now, he had a conversation to navigate.
"Food would be great," he said.
He wasn't quite sure how he was going to eat, given his previously mentioned two broken arms. He'd figure something out.

Ma'am Evelyn seemed pleased by its answer. “Great, I’ll get some blood to you soon,” she said. “We don’t keep any here because the smell is bothersome, but there are humans not far from here.”
That made sense. That was how they— before— That made sense.
It just didn't know how it would pay for the blood. What did Ma'am Evelyn want with it?
“Until then," she continued, "I can keep you in this living room or move to a room. I have somethings to solve and you can rest. Nod if you want to go to the room and shake your head if you want to stay here.”
It considered her question. A different room might be more private, with fewer people walking by. But that would require getting to a room, and it had no desire to crawl farther than it had to. Staying in this room it was. It shook its head.
It eyed the corner where it had been originally with longing. Maybe Ma'am Evelyn would let it stay there? Or would she want it close by, at her feet so she could correct its behavior as necessary?

"Take a seat, please," Alex said after they arrived at his kitchen, making food was work for servants, but Alex would never trust them –why would him after everything they did over the years?– "I'll make something, although I don't have much experience in cooking."
Alex had just finished his sentence when the boy arrived, looking at Alex and Tobias from the door. His eyes glanced between the two with an unspoken "Who is he?" along with a hidden "since he can't be your food."
Alex didn't like it, he was ashamed of letting a human know he can't drink human blood, but he pretended it didn't affect him.
"Hello, little guy, this is Tobias, he'll help me with something," Alex said, but the boy still looked scared, "His arms are broken, he can't hurt you," he tried. The attempt didn't seem to work since the boy looked more scared now.
"W-was it t-them?" He asked, trying to look smaller.
"Oh, no no, it wasn't, they aren't here," Alex said hurriedly, ignoring the confusion on Tobias's face, "They won't come here for a long time."
The boy seemed to calm a bit at that, crawling closer until he stopped by Alex's feet, leaning on the pats he received but still looking at Tobias's broken arms, thinking about the too-fresh memory in his mind.
"I-is she okay?" He asked all of sudden making Alex frown in surprise, "That day- H-her arm..."
"Don't worry," Alex cut as soon as he understood, asking himself how this boy finds time to worry about other people, to worry about vampires, "It's Evelyn, her arm was healed the next day."
The boy kept silent for a second, and Alex thought the talk was over. It wasn't.
"B-but it hurt," the boy said, almost to himself, "E-even if it's okay n-now, it it hurt b-before."
"...I mean, yes," Alex admitted, it was obvious but he had never thought too deeply about it, it hurt for too little to matter, right? "But... it's Evelyn, you don't need to worry."
The boy kept silent for a few more seconds, Alex was back at making food, "H-he needs t-to bandage a-and- y-you know," he said in a low voice, he wouldn't dare to get close of Tobias but he was worried about the many injuries, "T-to heal r-right."
"Okay," Alex said, "I'll solve this after the two of you eat."

Evelyn followed the girl's eyes, if she was showing what she wanted on purpose or not Evelyn didn't know, but she understood where the girl want to be for now.
She can stay here, Jasmine can keep an eye on the girl, making sure things stay calm, I need to pick someone trustworthy to get drugged blood.
"You can go back to the corner if you want," Evelyn said, relieved that –at least for now– this talking was ending, "I'll have someone bring some blankets, to make things more comfortable. I'll try to finish what I have to do fast and come back here, okay?"
The girl nodded, confused and scared, but there was no way Evelyn could calm her down right then, there was no logic to be used against whatever the girl was thinking.
Evelyn could feel that Alex had taken the human home, she hated that she would need to talk to the hunter again, but she would need as much information as she can get about the girl's behavior.
"I'll be leaving then," She said, leaving the girl by herself.

Cross' POV
Dream's POV
After Dream had found him again, the siren was completely silent. There were no signs that they were capable of speech or even making the clicks and shrieks again. This was worrying, especially to Dream. This was a siren. They were supposed to shriek and sing and stuff but... this one couldn't. Not anymore. What had happened to them? They seemed only half as energetic as a few days ago. Were they hurt? In pain? Something like that?
He sighed from where he was sitting with them, holding them close and kind of comfortingly. They'd have to go through physical therapy, though really only after they figured out what had happened to their voice. For now, though, he figured he'd get to know them a bit. With a small smile, he stood, picking them up.
"Were gonna figure out your name and your preferred pronouns, ok?"
The siren nodded, leaning into him a bit. They'd probably never been this cared for, or they'd just had a bad experience of some sort. Dream didn't dwell on it. He carried them to the library, setting them down on a soft chair for now. He'd made sure they had clothes, just a simple shirt, and comfortable pants, that way they didn't wander around the castle naked. They walked over to a shelf and pulled out an old book of dialects and writings.
"Ok. What we're gonna do is you're gonna tell me how you spell your name with this book. Ok?" The skele-siren nodded and he opened the page to the dialects the siren might know since they had different ways to write than humans did.
The skeleton studied the different letters and pointed them out in order. Slowly, since he had to find them, they translated to C-r-o-s-s. Dream smiled a bit almost immediately.
"Cross... that's a lovely name, you know...?"
He watched the skeleton nod and smiled a bit more.
"Now, before I just assume your gender, are you a male or boy or whatever...?"
Another nod. He smiled just a bit more.
"Cross, a very wonderful and handsome siren..."

Cross smiled a bit at Dream. He'd already been told Dream's name and pronouns. He was just glad the skeleton was helping him out. Especially with how much his feet had hurt while trying to stand, though he'd been unable to stand properly anyway. His legs had felt like jello.
"So what can I do to help you, Cross...? Your voice is gone..."
Cross looked back at the book. He'd flipped to the mermaid dialects, and their translations, a bit to Dream's surprise, since he didn't think a siren would know mermaid. Making sure Dream was able to see it, he pointed to the letters. S-e-a w-i-t-c-h.
"Oh... did they take your voice...?"
He nodded.
"And how do we get it back...?"
K-i-l-l.
"Well... uh... that's a bit harsh... don't you think...?"
Cross shook his head. Poseiden, this was hard without his voice, even if he could only sing. He didn't quite know how to do this and convince Dream, or at least some of Dream's guards, to kill the witch and get his voice back. But he was determined to do it, so he spelled out p-a-p-e-r and, almost immediately, Dream was up and grabbing something to write down what he was going to say. Once he came back, Dream started writing whatever Cross pointed out.
"'Sea witch makes pain and has voice'...? like... your voice...?"
Cross nodded.
"And where can I find them...?"

A Bit of Assistance
"I thought you said to be here by 8."
"I did."
"So... why is it, like, 9:30 and you're just showing up?"
"Cause a little incident occurred, but it's fine."
Coffee Creamer moved to open up the cafe for the day. Stepping inside, he heard Nightmare follow and he started getting things ready, starting up machines, the lights, and getting the desserts that were made the night before. Nightmare moved to look around more properly.
It was easy to slip behind the counter, which had a small register. CC worked on setting out all of the breakfast items they served, which were seen through the glass front. He made sure all the labels were set accordingly and that none of the nut products combined with the non-nut ones, just in case. He also set some gluten-free ones off to the side for those with allergies.
Nightmare took a step back, examining all the machines and the kitchen while Creamer worked on the counter. Everything was cheap but looked like it worked well. It probably did with Creamer's ability to fix it all. Did he do upgrades too? He was distracted from his thoughts by CC speaking.
"Alright. Since we don't have time for training, you work the counter and tell me what people order. Menu's up there," he pointed to the ceiling. Nightmare's gaze followed it to see a menu above all of the machines.
"And you have a smaller one for yourself right here." He tapped an advertisement stand on the counter, of which the back had a smaller menu on.
"Do you need glasses to see this or do I need to get you a bigger menu?"
Anyone who was just watching them would think that Coffee was trying to be courteous, but he was being passive-aggressive in reality and kind of making fun of Nightmare for having one eyelight
"I can see perfectly fine, thank you very much."
"Then read that with picking it up and standing next to the register."
He nodded and looked at it, then squinted, "Uhhhmmm..."
CC rubbed the bridge of his 'nose', "Jesus Christ... alright. I'll get you a bigger one and, if you still can't see it, look at the giant one. People will know you're new so it's fine."
Nightmare waited as Coffee went to the back and came back with a menu he could set on the top of the register without blocking anything. This one was a bit easier to see and he quietly thanked CC. Creamer just nodded and turned on the open sign before moving to get the machines running. It took only minutes for people to start coming in and ordering the foods and drinks.
The one Nightmare found most peculiar was a skeleton with a black splotch on his cheek, almost like a bad bruise. He wore a brown painter's smock and had a hint of a marijuana smell, though not as noticeable among the smells of the food and coffee. Rather than going to the register, the skeleton headed to the side of the counter and called out for Coffee Creamer.
Nightmare watched the skeleton's companion, a skeleton with black, red, and yellow bones, blue "tears" falling down his cheeks, and a painting covering his face, sit down. The skeleton in the smock had started a conversation with Creamer while he made coffees and packed up bakery items to go. Nightmare just continued taking orders, noticing that Creamer was just as efficient as before.
The only thing that caught his attention, though, was a couple sentences in the conversation.
"Creamer, I got a question: Where's Ccino? And who's the new guy?"
"Dad fell down the stairs this morning, so he's in the hospital right now."

A Tiny Nightmare
Dream shook as he took in what was in front of him. He was going to kill Sci. Now, he didn't just have a brother with a cracked eye. He had a 5 year old brother that would be in a huge amount of pain when he woke up.
This wasn't good.
But, on the other hand... he could save his brother before the prophecy would take over. He could raise his brother to be more like him and less like the villan he was predicted as.
He smiled, then started to laugh. He could. He could fix it all before it began. He just had to make sure that Nightmare followed in Dream's footsteps, rather than anyone like Nightmare's old friends.
Dream's thoughts paused when he heard a small whimper and felt fear and pain. Oh. Oh, he forgot to try and numb Nightmare's eye. Quickly, he turned to the now waking Nightmare and tried his best to numb the pain with his magic. The 5-year-old quickly clung to Dream's hand, since his golden magic was warm and Nightmare was feeling cold. He tried his best at a soft smile.
"Hi, Sunshine."
"S-Sunshine...?" His voice was so quiet, "Is that m-my name...?"
"No, it isn't... you don't remember?"
"Remember wh-what...?"
"Anything..."
Dream's mouth pressed into a line when the child shook his head, then he came up with an idea.
"Well... your name is Alacrity."
"A-Alacrity...? What's that mean...?"
"Positivity. You're my little brother, after all, so you need to have a name like mine."
"So... wh-what's your name th-then...?"
"Dream."
"I-It's nice to meet y-you, Dream... even if... we've m-met before..."

You and Tsukishima are cousins but you both have different personality (at this point I don't even know where he got his salty personality from)
You live in the same roof as Tsukishima since your family's house is far
You and Yams have a thing for each other but too afraid to confess to one another
Tsukishima always drops hints (like all the time) that you both like each other but just plain stupid to realiz,e he's the bridge of your relationship
"Tsukki!! Why'd you order me crispy fries?! I like them soggy you know!" Yamaguchi yells while pouting at Tsukishima who is grinning widely while staring at me
"Yams you can have mine! It's a bit crispy but there are some soggy ones!" I slid my fries onto his front and took the fries that Tsukishima bought
"Ha! It must be nice to have y/n's soggy fries huh?" Tsukishima then had a smug smile plastered on his face "Maybe she made them soggy on purpose—" I threw a wet wipe on Kei's face that smudged his glasses "WHAT THE— WHY'D YOU THROW THAT AT ME?!" Now it's my turn to have a smug smile on my face
"There was oil on your mouth and I was just helping you out cousin, you don't like oil on your mouth don'tcha?"
"Hey hey! Quit it you two, people are staring!" Yamaguchi whispered and looked at the both of us
"Ugh, I'm just gonna leave, have fun on your date" What the fuck is his problem
"D-date?! Tsukki what do you mean—" Yamaguchi hurriedly tried to catch up with Kei

But to my dismay as I look up he has this smile that I can tell that he is planning on something
"Then you'll do anything I say? Is that a deal or not?" He took off his headphones and waited for my response
"W-well it depends on... what you are planning" I looked away at him and started fidgeting my hands
"You'll have to confess, well maybe not really confess but make him answer if he is interested into dating you"
"ARE YOU NUTS OR JUST FREAKING CRAZY?!? WHAT THE HECK KEI, YOU KNOW THAT HE ISN'T INTERESTED!!"
"How would I know? You two are like beans in a pod that you can't even separate" He was satisfied with my reaction so he went back to what he was doing
I swear for the love of Asajesus I want to kick this tall stick's ass and send him to the fucking sun
"Ugh I'd rather get buried than say to Yams that I like him" I played with the pen that was just lying on the desk the whole time
"Suit yourself, don't blame me if you get that problem wrong, I offered you a good deal yet you refused" THIS GUY—

The next day my homework got returned to me and of course... I need to redo it
"Kei..." I tapped his shoulder
"Hm? You failed? Sucks to be you" He smirked and went back to dozing off to his “wonderland”
"Ughh just hear me out!! I accept your deal!" His eyes opened
"Then go ahead, there's an hour for you to go and confess"
"WAIT... YOU MEAN RIGHT NOW??!?! I'M NOT READY YET!"
"Take it or leave it, I'll be waiting" Ughh after that I ran to the cafeteria to find a grayish-green haired boy with freckles plastered on his face
"HAHAHAHAHA! Don't tell me that.. you spitted your orange juice on her blouse? Poor her she gotta wash that hard to take the stain off!" He laughed while talking to Hinata and Kageyama at the corner
"We'll I was surprised so I accidentally spat the juice at her!"
"Yams!" I called out and they immediately turned their heads at my direction
"Oh hey y/n! What's up? Is there a problem?" I huffed "I just need to excuse you for something urgent, umm you don't have to wait for Yams here bye!"
I held his wrist and dashed out of the cafeteria and of course we went to our usual spot where me Kei and Yams always go to
"Umm... so Yams uhh.. you see uhh I've been meaning to... ask you something" What the heck why can't I just talk like a normal person
"Yeah? What is it? I hope it's not hard to answer though hahaha!"
"Uhmm...." I fidgeted "A-are you... by any chance uhmm.... interested in you know.... in getting into a relationship" He looked at me in confusion and thought about what I asked
He blushed "N-no.. not really.." He's saying no but his face does..
"O-oh really? Hahaha! Uhmm is there someone you like? Like, like romantically?" He nodded in response and looked away
"Yeah... She has been for a long time had make my heart skip a beat"
"H-ha! Now I've got a chance to pass that freaking homework! Let's go? Kei might be waiting at the classroom" I stood up with a gloomy face, not even sparing a glance at Yamaguchi
"Ooh.. okay.... why did you ask though?" He got curious and of course I'm dumb and told him
"N-nothing... It was just a dare Kei made me do.. Just forget about it!"
Dead silence. Yes we're not talking to each other until I asked him
"Have y.. you asked the girl out?"
"No..."
"Why not? I mean I know she'll like you too! I mean who wouldn't want a fluffball like you?"
Who wouldn't like an amazing guy like you?
I looked at him and he was as red as a tomato, and it's so freaking adorable
"U-uuuh~ Can w-we drop the topic?"

I guess he doesn't like talking about someone he likes to me
(Istfg they're so dumb, but Yams is cute)
We have reached our classroom with silence, I've got no chance huh?
The day just went like how it used to, me listening to the teachers, taking notes and everything except when it's time to go back home
"Kei I'm going home early, don't ask why" He looked at me with a not so concerned look
"Uhh okay? Want me to tell Yamaguchi?"
"Nah, he's not interested about that anyway, oh and don't forget about the deal, Imma head out"

I heard the door closed and so I took my notebook and pen and set it to his table
The door opens and he squinted at the sight
"What are you doing in here? Get out"
"HEY! I DID YOUR STUPID DEAL AND GUESS WHAT I GOT INDIRECTLY REJECTED! NOW GET YOUR ASS IN HERE AND HELP ME WITH MY HOMEWORK"
He rolled his eyes and settled in beside me
"The fuck? Where'd you get these answers from? Are you nuts?" HOW RUDE
"Not my fault his teaching was hard to understand" I scoffed
"Well if you're not dumb you'd get the answers right, anyone can solve this y/n"
"Ugh fine fine just teach me already!"
"Later, I need to wait for him" Him?? Is he expecting someone?
"Gomen Tsukki! I was adoring the cat outside so I got in late!" He opened the door panting, he still hasn't noticed me
"Uhm.. I-I'll just watch how to solve it, I'm going back to my room" I packed up my things and was about to stand
"I thought you wanted me to teach you? Since I'm teaching you two the same thing I called him here" He smirked
But I want to avoid him.. for the mean time
"Nevermind that, I'll just ask you something else, later Yamaguchi" I left Kei's room and went straight to bed
Ughh I can't face him like this, I'm just gonna take a nap and do my assignment later

"Uhmm.. Y/n I'm sorry, but I don't feel the same way, I hope we can still be friends though..." I teared up
"Y-yeah it's alright, I'm not really expecting you to reciprocate my feelings so it's okay!"

"OH MY FUCKI— OWW!" I bumped my forehead in his
"AH! I'M SORRY Y/N! I DIDN'T MEAN TO SCARE YOU! I WAS JUST GOING TO WAKE YOU UP!! GOMEN!!" I massaged my forehead "N-no it's okay! I was just s-surprised that you're here..."
"Tsukki said I should wake you up.. I'm really sorry! Ahh look at your head" He quickly touched my forehead and my heart starts to beat faster
"It has a bump! I'M REALLY SORRY!!!! I'M GETTING YOU SOME ICE!" He's leaving... this is your chance to confess or else you won't be able to get things off of your chest
"W-wait.." I held his shirt and started to get red
"What is it? Does it hurt? Fuck I'm sorry!" He took his hand off of my head
"N-no.. it's.. uhh.. ilikeyou..... so.." I mumbled "What? I can't hear you" Oh god this is embarrassing
"I like you Yams— I mean.. *sigh* You don't have to say anything, I'll just get the ice.. You can go back to Kei.." I said it... though this will be a one sided— "I l-like you too... y/n.. I like you a lot... I m-mean like lot, a lot more than anyth—" I hugged him
I don't want him to see my face, I'm so flustered that I just hugged him without hesitating
"Finally! These dumb dorks" Kei looked at us with satisfaction
"Y-you! You planned this huh?" I stood up and started to hit Kei's arm
"Ow! Well at least you won't have to sulk in this dark room of yours!"
"What do you mean dark?? This is called style you uncultured salt!"
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!?"
"I CALLED YOU AN UNCULTURED SALT! GOT A PROBLEM??"

"Go back to your room and start listening to your weird music!" I pushed him to his room and went back to my “dark room” he said
"C'mere, I'll teach you the easy way" He sat down on the floor and started to scribble on my notebook

"H-hey! It's hard to teach if y-you're leaning on me!" I chuckled "You'll get used to it! Now teach me!"

As much as it pained the Losers to have to wait another day to save Mike, they knew it would be no use if they went into the whole situation more tired than they already were. So after getting the few hours of sleep that they could and having to go through another dreadful day of school, you could say they were a little impatient by the time there was only a minute of the school day left.
Y/N bounced her knee up and down, her toes being the only thing touching the ground as she violently shook her leg. Her eyes were trained on the clock at the front of the room and she was biting her lip nervously, the only thoughts she could think of being that she wanted nothing more than for the school day to be over.
Bill watched the girl silently from his assigned seat across the class. Back when the teacher had allowed them to sit anywhere, the two had sat side by side. However one pair of girls had ruined it for everyone the day they kept talking during class which meant the teacher could think of nothing more to do than create a seating chart.
Y/N was placed at the front of the room while Bill was in the back, but Bill didn't complain. He would've liked to sit next to the girl, but luckily for him, his spot in the back gave him the perfect side view of the girl's face, allowing him to admire her from afar without her even noticing.
In that moment, his eyes kept flickering between the clock and Y/N who he hesitated on a little bit longer each time. It was only when the bell rang that Bill seemed to snap out of his thoughts and he was quick to get up from his seat and race over to Y/N, grabbing onto her hand and dragging her out of the room as the teens raced to find their friends.
Neither of them had to go to their lockers and it seemed the other Losers didn't either because Beverly, Richie, Eddie, Ben and Stan were already waiting by their bikes when the two made it.
"Finally! You two just couldn't save your make out session for later, could you?" Richie asked causing both teens to simultaneously blush and glare at the boy.
"Shut up, Richie," Y/N muttered as she reluctantly let go of Bill's hand and got onto her bike. "Come on. We can go to my house."
The others nodded and not even fifteen minutes later they were at Y/N's house, locked away in her basement with papers and pencils on a huge table in front of them.
"The portal you guys saw," Y/N began as she took a piece of paper and drew a long line across the middle of it, "it goes to a place called the Upside Down. I know I've mentioned it before, but I don't think I've ever really explained it. One of my past teachers once explained alternate dimensions like this. Think of this line as a tightrope and the tightrope represents our dimension."
Y/N drew a little stick figure on top of the tightrope before saying, "For an acrobat, they can only go backwards or forwards along the rope since the rope is flat. They can't turn upside down or they will fall off."
She then drew a tiny dot on the rope. "This is a flea. Now the flea is different than the acrobat. It can go forwards and backwards, but it can also go up and down meaning that it can get into the other dimension. The portal is like what makes us fleas, allowing us to cross over into this other dimension if that makes sense," Y/N explained.
"I'm confused," Stan muttered. "How does something like that even exist?"
"We don't know. It's just kind of been there and we don't exactly know why it's all decay either," Y/N replied.
"Why do we have to be fleas to go into the Upside Down?" Richie asked gaining everyone's attention. "I don't want to be a fucking flea!"
"What? Richie-" Y/N began as she shook her head.
"I don't want to be a flea, Y/N!" Richie exclaimed while Eddie shook his head at the boy.
Before Richie knew what was happening, Eddie had whacked him on the back of the head. "You idiot, we aren't going to turn into fleas. It's just a metaphor, dumbass," Eddie said with a roll of his eyes.
"Oh," Richie said as his eyes lit up in realization. The others just shook their heads in disbelief.
"So what's the game plan then?" Beverly asked.
"Yeah, how are we going to save Mike? We can't all go to the Upside Down, right? What if the portal closes?" Ben asked although Y/N knew he only asked because he didn't want to be the one to go into the portal.
"That's where my experience with the Upside Down comes into play. Now I've only been in there once, but I know enough to make my way around and stay safe. We don't need everyone going, so I'll just go and have a rope tied to myself so that you guys can pull me back if I yank hard enough," Y/N explained.
"I-I-I'm going w-w-with," Bill declared causing the young girl to look at him with raised eyebrows.
Y/N let out a small laugh before shaking her head as she smiled at the boy, "No, you aren't."
Bill furrowed his eyebrows and frowned. "I-I-I'm going, Y/N," he insisted.
The girl shook her head. "You don't get it. I am the only one who knows what this place is like. I'm not about to bring any of you, especially you, into that place. It's just not happening," Y/N told him.
"I-I-I will be fine b-b-because I'm with y-y-you, but I w-w-will not let y-y-you go in there a-a-alone even if you d-d-do have experience w-w-with this thing," Bill said, crossing his arms as he gave the girl a serious look that told her he wouldn't back down.
Y/N frowned, obviously not pleased with Bill's decision, but nodded. "Fine, but you aren't allowed to leave my side even for a second, got it?" she asked.
Bill smiled and let his arms fall back down to his side. "W-W-Wouldn't want to be a-a-anywhere else," he said. Y/N felt her face heat up at that and she quickly looked away while the others all looked at her in amusement.
"So what do we need to do now?" Eddie asked.
"Well we can't exactly just waltz right into the Well House," Y/N explained. "We're going to need supplies like weapons of any kind, flashlights, masks and rope."
"Lots and lots of rope."

"I can't believe you're doing this," Eddie muttered, his face pale as he stared at the pulsing goo in front of him that lined the basement wall of the Well House. He looked as if he might puke or pass out. Maybe even both. "That thing looks like an infection just waiting to happen."
"Oh, hush. They'll be fine. It's just decay anyways," Beverly noted from where she was tying the rope around Y/N's waist, remembering what Y/N had said about the Upside Down being a world of decay. She finished tightening the rope before standing back and looking at the girl who grinned at her.
"Be careful and go kick some demogorgon and It ass while you're at it," Beverly told the girl. Y/N smiled and the two girls high fived before Beverly gave her a quick hug just in case something were to happen.
"Remember, we are just trying to figure out what is going on in there and hopefully you guys will find Mike while you're at it. No unnecessary fighting if you can help it," Stan said.
Y/N nodded and the two did a small fist bump before Y/N turned to see Bill talking to Richie, Eddie, and Ben. Her eyes locked with Bill's and she gave him a small nod. "Ready?" she asked.
Bill nodded and pulled his bandana up and over his mouth and nose, a technique Y/N had advised him to use to keep the decay out of his lungs. "Ready," he nodded.
Y/N nodded back and put the bandana over her mouth and nose as well before looking over at Richie, Eddie, and Ben and saluting then. Eddie chuckled and waved to the girls while Ben quickly saluted her back. Richie tried to hide his small smile as he rolled his eyes at the girl, but he couldn't stop himself from smiling at her goofiness and looked to the ground.
Bill lightly grabbed onto Y/N's hand, instantly gaining her attention for a moment. Their eyes locked and he squeezed her hand slightly before she squeezed back. The two then looked before them and took a deep breath before pushing their way through the goo portal, the ropes attached to their waists staying on the other side with the Losers where a huge pile of rope they had managed to find from town laid by their feet.
It took about a minute for the two to break out of the other side of the portal and about fifteen seconds for their eyes to adjust to the sudden darkness around them. Y/N shuddered at the sight before her, the familiar sight of decay in front of her bringing back too many memories.
Bill let out a small gasp, his eyes wide as he looked around and muttered, "What the hell. . ."
Y/N ignored the boy and was quick to flip on her flashlight. "Let's go," she said, her hand still tightly holding onto Bill's as she took a step forward.
She held onto him so tight that Bill thought his hand might break, but he knew she was just afraid and thinking of her many experiences with the world they were in so he held her back just as tight and rubbed a thumb along the top of her hand.
Bill followed at her side and pulled his flashlight out as well as the two began to walk deeper and deeper into the Upside Down. Bill didn't know what to think as he looked around, still shocked at the place that was before him.
They seemed to be in the Well House still, or at least a version of the Well House. Bill had thought the house was already broken down, but this just proved how much worse it could be where half of the building was practically crumbling to ashes while everything was covered in a grayish green decay.
The teens quietly made their way up the stairs of the basement and began to make their way towards the front door, making sure to be quiet enough not to let It or the Demogorgons know they were there.
"We should check outside first. Mike's bike was left outside, so maybe we could find clues," Y/N told him in a whisper and Bill nodded in response.
Luckily the door was already open so all the two had to do was step over some of the broken wood from the door before they were outside. Bill almost gasped louder at the sight of the outside world.
Just like Y/N had said, the scenery around him reminded him of Derry. There were buildings and streets identical to the ones he was used to seeing every day. The only difference was that this landscape was covered in decay and a green and gray tint to everything.
Bill could only stare in shock, so Y/N gently tugged on his hand as she pulled him forward. They couldn't afford to get distracted or separated. Not in a place like this.
The two walked down the front stairs and Y/N dragged Bill over to the same bush that Mike's bike had been in, only the bush was nothing but a bunch of broken twigs while all that was left of a bike was the rusty handles broken in pieces on the ground.
Y/N frowned and bent down to pick a metal piece up. She stood up and studied it for a minute before looking up and around at the scenery in front of her. She was quiet as she looked around, her eyes scanning the area as if she were waiting for something to happen or looking for clues to anything alive having walked through these parts.
Her questioning gaze was soon answered when a small almost screeching noise came from the house behind them. . .the same house they had just walked out of.
Y/N's eyes widened while Bill stilled beside her. "W-W-What was th-th-that?" Bill asked as he looked to the girl beside him confused.
Y/N shook her head and turned to look at the house, but as soon as she heard what sounded like claws scrapping across the ground as something started running through the house, she immediately burst into action.
Her grip tightened on Bill's hand and she bolted, yanking the boy forward as she yelled, "Run!"
All she could hear was her own heart beating in her chest and the cries of a demogorgon as she ran. She knew Bill was yelling at her, possibly trying to figure out what was chasing them and what they were going to do, but she wasn't able to function or process his words so all she heard was a muffled voice yelling from behind her.
Y/N didn't know where she was running as they rushed forward, but she knew that she had to find somewhere to hide, someone where the demogorgon would have trouble finding her. Why she thought the creepy woods was a good idea, she had no idea. But then again, everything in the Upside Down was creepy so how could the woods be any different?
"This way!" Y/N yelled as she pulled Bill into the forest with her. All the trees were bare of leaves, some of them even having branches and twigs broken in odd angles, but there were so many of them bundled together that it was easy for the girl to find them a hiding spot between two large trees towards the middle of the woods.
Y/N had to remind herself to keep her breathing low, that it didn't matter how scared she was. If the demogorgon heard her breathing, then it would be able to find her. It took a second but she finally managed to get her breathing to almost inaudible.
The only problem was Bill who was holding onto her hand with a deathly grip as his other hand held onto his chest. His eyes were looking around frantically and his breathing was almost so rapid that his body shook with every breath.
Y/N frowned sadly before quickly turning her body so that she was in front of the boy. Her hand was quick to go over his mouth, instantly making his breathing ten times quieter. Bill stared at her with wide eyes and she tried to remain calm as she looked at him.
Sweat was dripping down both of their faces and fear was evident in their eyes. Bill shook below her touch and Y/N gave him a sympathetic look before letting go of his hand so that she could brush her hand through his hair, a small gesture she always did when she needed to calm him down.
It seemed to help a little bit and he just blinked and watched her silently as she kept her hand over his mouth. Once she knew he was calm enough for her to look away, Y/N peaked her head out and around the tree so that she could look back in the direction they had just come from.
A snap of a twig had her pulling back and practically launching herself at Bill, the two huddling together as Y/N kept her hand over his mouth and bit her lip to keep herself quiet. Both teens were shaking as they heard the crunching sound of dead twigs and leaves and Bill squeezed his eyes shut before leaning into the girl more, never having felt this scared except for three years ago when they had fought Pennywise.
He hadn't even seen the thing, but it didn't take much for him to realize why Y/N was so freaked out and the sound it made only added to his own fear.
The two were so quiet that the crunching of the leaves and twigs was the only sound that filled the air. So when the sound suddenly paused before starting back up again and growing distant as it did, the two knew they were safe. Y/N waited a moment after the sound had disappeared before pulling away from Bill and looking around the tree.
She let out a small sigh of relief once she saw that the coast was clear and she turned back to Bill before pulling her hand away. Their noses were touching from how close they were, their rapid breaths mingling together as they stared at each other.
"W-W-What was th-th-that?" Bill asked, his eyes frantically searching Y/N's as if they held the answer to his question.
"A demogorgon. Something you do not want to meet," Y/N breathed out. She let her eyes flicker over Bill's face before she looked at him worriedly and used a hand to cup his cheek, her thumb rubbing his skin as he leaned into her touch. "Are you okay?" she asked worriedly.
Bill instantly nodded. "Y-Y-Yeah, I'm okay," he told her before he reached up and brushed a strand of hair that had fallen out of her ponytail behind her ear. "Are you okay?"
He knew how much the Upside Down and the creatures inhabiting it had affected her. There had been countless nights where she had showed up knocking on his window with tears in her eyes and where he had held her in his arms as she cried and shook in his hold from how frightened and upset she was. Bill had never minded much especially since Y/N returned the favor whenever he had nightmares of Georgie and It.
Y/N let out a shaky breath and nodded her head, "Yeah, I'm-"
Her sentence fell on deaf ears as an ear piercing scream filled the air. Y/N instantly tensed while Bill looked at her confused. Y/N ignored the boy as she quickly pulled away, her eyes wide as she looked around. "That scream. . ." She muttered making Bill furrow his eyebrows.
"W-W-What scr-" Bill didn't get to finish because Y/N's wars were suddenly filled with another scream that made her eyes widen.
"It's Mike!" she cried out. "This way!" Before Bill could even get up, the girl had bolted and by the time he was up, she was already gone.
"Sh-Sh-Shit," Bill muttered as he realized him and Y/N were now separated. "Y/N!" he cried out, but there was no response. Knowing there was no way in hell he would be leaving without her, Bill took a deep breath before running in the direction she had went, silently wondering to himself what screaming she had been talking about.
The screaming may have not been real for Bill, but for Y/N it was very real. So real in fact that she didn't even think twice about running off to find Mike. She knew about the horrors that came with the Upside Down so she could only imagine what was happening to him at that moment.
However, it wasn't until she reached a small clearing where Mike was standing with a blank expression on his face that she realized she had been tricked.
"Mike?" Y/N called out, confusion laced in her voice. Upon realizing it was him, she let out a sigh of relief and ran over to the boy, a smile on her face. She reached the boy in a matter of seconds and was quick to wrap her arms around him in a hug. "Thank goodness you are okay! I don't know what I would've done if I-"
The girl fell short as she realized Mike wasn't hugging her back. Confused, Y/N pulled way to see that Mike was staring at her with a blank look on his face, his eyes wide as he just stared at her in silence.
"Mike?" Y/N questioned, a nervous laugh escaping her lips. "Come on. We don't have time for games. We have to get out of here."
Y/N turned to leave but before she could even take a step, Mike's hand was suddenly grabbing onto her wrist before he let out an eerie laugh.
"Oh, but games are so much fun, Y/N," a voice that didn't belong to Mike told her. The girl tensed at that and slowly looked behind her to see that Mike had disappeared and been replaced by It.
The clown grinned at her, his sharp teeth shining as his eyes stared at her. "We can play a game," It suggested while Y/N shook her head and began to pull against It's iron grip. Tears were in her eyes as she struggle, but It didn't seem to notice. "The other kids love my games. You can float too, you know. You'll float too. You'll float too. You'll float too! You'll float too!"
It's voice was so loud that Y/N's ears hurt. Letting out a strangled cry as tears began to stream down her face, the seventeen year old tried deservedly to escape his iron grip. It just laughed and Y/N's eyes widened when the clown's mouth opened up to reveal rows of sharp teeth.
Just when It was about to clamp it's teeth into her arm, Y/N remembered the rope around her waist and yanked on it before using her leg to sweep It out from under his feet.
On the other side of the portal to the Upside Down stood the Losers' Club who were all staring at the portal ahead of them with frowns on their faces. "You think they're okay?" Stan asked quietly, his voice just above a whisper.
As if having heard his voice, the rope that belonged to Y/N suddenly began to move forward faster than any of them had seen. Beverly's eyes widened and she quickly grabbed ahold of the rope, only then realizing that Y/N was tugging against it to signal that she needed them to get her out.
"She's pulling on the rope! Y/N needs help!" Beverly exclaimed, the others' eyes all widening as they hurried over to the girl and began to pull on the rope.
Y/N let out a small sigh of relief as she began to run, the rope pulling back against her not only helping her run faster but also telling her that her friends were trying to help her.
She had lost It a little ways back, but Y/N was no fool and knew that he was not far behind. Stumbling through the woods, Y/N was barely paying attention and accidentally slipped onto the ground.
The girl let out a groan as she sat up, but it was only then that she realized the tugging on the rope had stopped. Y/N furrowed her eyebrows, a small panic rising in her chest as she hesitantly reached out for the rope and began pulling on it. It was as if the rope was as loose as could be and before she knew it, Y/N came face to face with the frayed end of a rope.
The rope, her way back home and the connection to her friends, had been cut.
"No," Y/N muttered as she felt the bubble of panic rising in her chest. "No. No. No. No."
"Y/N, please don't run! We can all be friends down here!" It's voice sang from a little ways away causing the girl to drop the rope in her hand and scramble to her feet.
Y/N didn't know where she was going at this point, the rope not being of any help anymore. Everything in the woods looked the same and the longer she ran through it, the more scared and upset she got. She just knew that she had to get away from It.
She hadn't even realized she was crying before her vision got so blurry that she was literally just stumbling around. Her breathing was heavy as she ran forward, her eyes flickering all around her.
Hadn't she passed that tree a minute ago? Why did everything look so familiar? Wasn't that the place her and Bill had hid from the demogorgon?
Y/N froze at that. Her eyes wide as she realized Bill was no longer with her. When had that happened? She didn't know whether to be relieved since he didn't have to deal with It or scared because she didn't know what was happening to him.
"Bill!" Y/N cried out frantically, tears streaming down her face even more as she suddenly became frightened for Bill's life. "Bill!"
A loud screech from behind her made her jump as she realized both the demogorgons and It were now after her. Knowing she had to find Bill, Y/N took a deep breath before running back into the thicker parts of the woods, making sure to still run away from the creatures that were following her.
"Bill!" Y/N yelled as the branches on the trees scratched her face and pulled at her hair. "Bill!"
She ran through the thick trees for a second longer before she suddenly came stumbling out into a small clearing. No sooner had her feet touched the ground that something came barreling into her side causing her to hit the ground as she let out a scream of terror.
Y/N squeezed her eyes shut as she began to cry, knowing that this was it. A fucking demogorgon had gotten her and she was about to die. She really hoped Bill had found his way out, that he had made it back to the others and that they would work with her friends from Hawkins to kill these motherfuckers.
"Y/N?"
The girl's thoughts were hushed at the sound of her name and she slowly blinked her eyes open to see Bill propped up above her. "B-B-Bill?" she questioned, still leaning back slightly and shaking because she wasn't quite sure if this was actually the boy that had stolen her heart or some sick hallucination caused by the clown.
But then she saw the rope attached to his hip and the concern in his eyes as he gently reached up and cradled her face in disbelief before hugging her tightly. "F-F-Fuck. Don't sc-sc-scare me like th-th-that," he muttered as he held her close to his body, stroking her hair and pressing a kiss to her temple as he did so.
And she knew it was him.
A loud sob left her lips as she clung onto the boy, a feeling of relief washing over her at the fact that he was okay. However, the two didn't get long to comfort each other before a loud almost howl like screech filled the air.
Y/N perked up at that, instantly remembering why she had been running in the first place. "We have to go," she told him before she grabbed onto the rope around his waist and began to yank on it. Within a couple of seconds, the rope was starting to pull Bill up onto his feet and through the woods. Bill was quick to grasp onto Y/N's hand and the two began to run as fast as they possibly could in the direction the rope was pulling them.
It didn't take long for them to exit the woods, the Well House coming back into sight. Y/N silently wondered if the house had been that close all along and if the woods had just been a trick of her mind.
A red flash of lightning came from behind them and Y/N felt the hairs in the back of her neck stand up. She hesitantly looked behind her before gasping at the sight of the Mind Flayer, a creature from the Upside Down that she hadn't seen in two years. She had thought he was dead.
"We got to go!" Y/N exclaimed, pulling Bill along faster towards the house. A howling screech filled the air before it was followed by another one and then another. It didn't take much for Y/N to realize that the Mind Flayer had sent a herd of demodogs after them.
"Shit," she muttered as she pushed Bill into the house, glancing back to see a herd of demodogs and demogorgons running out from the woods they had just come from with the Mind Flayer right behind them.
Bill looked outside as well and his eyes widened before he quickly grabbed Y/N's hand and began to pull her towards the basement. The two could hear the creatures that were hot on their trail and for a second they both even swore they heard the sound of Pennywise laughing from behind them.
But then they saw the flashing portal and didn't even think twice before lunging inside, the two flying through and onto the floor of their world causing the Losers to all jump back in surprise.
"Holy shit! You guys okay?" Beverly asked as she hurried over to help them up, but neither of them made a move to get up. Y/N had started to cry while Bill held her close to his body, his eyes trained on the portal in front of them as if he couldn't believe what had just happened.
"Guys? Why aren't you talking? What's wrong?" Ben asked worriedly.
"Yeah, what the fuck happened in there? And why the hell was Y/N's rope cut?" Richie questioned in anger as he held up the frayed end of the rope that had been on their side.
"What about Mike? Did you see Mike?" Eddie asked.
The questions all came barreling at the two, but neither were able to process just what their friends were asking. Y/N was shaking as she held onto Bill, the boy shakily holding her back as both of them stared at the portal in front of them.
Just then, the lights above the group began to flicker causing everyone to look up confused.
"Oh no."
The Losers all froze and turned to look at Y/N, their faces paling slightly at the look of sheer fright and panic on her face. "What's wrong?" Stan asked, not knowing if he actually wanted to hear the answer.
However, he got his answer sooner than he expected when a slimy looking hand pushed its way through the goo portal on the wall. Before any of them could blink, the face of a demogorgon appeared, it's whole face opening up like a flower to reveal rows of teeth as it screeched at them.
Everyone let out a scream while Richie yelled out, "What the fuck! What the fuck!"
The next few seconds were a blur as everyone scrambled towards the stairs, tripping over each other as they did. The demogorgon chased after them, but somehow the teens were able to be just a step ahead of the creature.
They ran towards the front door and Y/N quickly pushed her friends outside before they all stumbled across the front yard. The demogorgon was right behind them and Y/N pushed her friends across the street only to trip and land just on the other side of the road.
"Y/N!" Bill cried out once he saw that the girl had fallen behind. He went to run back, but it was too late, the demogorgon was already standing above the girl with its mouth opening up even wider if that was even possible. Y/N whimpered and tried to crawl away but the demogorgon's hand was suddenly latching onto her ankle.
But its hold on her disappeared almost as quickly as it had happened. The hold was suddenly ripped away as a car came barreling past the group, the front of it hitting the demogorgon so hard that the creature went flying back.
The Losers all blinked in surprise before looking to the car that had stopped in front of them. Y/N was breathing heavily as she pushed the strands of hair that had fallen from her ponytail out of her face.
Her lungs and ankle were on fire as she looked up at the car and she was shaking out of fright, but she still managed to smile as the window rolled down to reveal that face of Steve Harrington. The boy ran a hand through his hair before glancing down at Y/N who was lying on the ground still.
"L/N, still don't know how to stay out of trouble I see," he mused, the corners of his lips twitching up slightly as he looked at the girl.
Y/N let out a laugh of relief that had the Losers all looking at her with wide eyes, wondering how the hell she was able to laugh after what had just happened.
Then they saw the smile on her face and the way she looked at the boy as if she couldn't believe her eyes and they knew this person was obviously important to her and she was relieved to see him. This all together made them look to the boy confused, wondering just who the hell this guy was.
"Harrington, still don't know how to drive I see."

A paper ball hits you in the side of the cheek and you roll your eyes. Seriously? We are fucking seniors for crying out loud. You pick it up off of the desk with a sigh. As your economics teacher drones on and on about monopolies and societal revenue, you quickly and stealthily open up the wadded piece of paper.
"Pssssst Y/N,
I need your help studying! I know the test is tomorrow and I can't fail it! PLEASE!
-Call Me Mr Fuckin' G.O.D."
You roll your eyes, not at the request, but at how he signed the letter. You smooth out the paper and grab your pencil.
"Vernon,
 Of course, I'll help you study, but you'll owe me! And if I call you anything it'll be dipshit...
-You're Saviour."
You gently fold up the paper into a neat little square and hand it to your neighbour.
"Pass it to Vernon." You mouth at them. They nod and pass the message until Vernon is the one holding the note in his hands.
He opens the letter with little to no discretion, causing you to fight the urge to facepalm. He smiles happily to himself and rolls his eyes before grabbing his pencil to reply. A few minutes later the once again balled up piece of paper is laying on your desk again.
"Y/N calling someone older than you dipshit is disrespectful... Maybe you'll tutor me in the ways of economics and I'll tutor you in the ways of mannerisms. I'll walk home with you mkay?

You bite back a light grin and when the teacher isn't looking, turn around and flip him off. He glares at you and you stifle a giggle.
Later that afternoon as the bell rings for the last time, signalling the end of the day, you walk through the crowded halls quickly. You finally make it to your locker. Unlocking it you shove the textbooks you don't need inside with a sigh. Shutting it allows you to finally see the goody boy leaning against the locker beside your own.
"Hey there pumpkin." He says cheekily.
You roll your eyes and turn towards the exit. You begin walking, with your backpack over your shoulders and Vernon beside you. Once outside of the large high school he links his hand with yours.

"Shut up loser. I'm only holding your hand. You won't die." he replies slightly annoyed.  
"It's just weird! Since when do we hold hands?" You question.

"N-no... It's fine. I was just surprised is all." Your blush grows darker.
By the time that the two of you reach your home, he is swinging your hands back and forth cutely and your chattering is nonstop. Once inside you both kick off your shoes and drop your bags by the door.
"Snack first?" You ask, making your way towards the kitchen. You two had been friends since you could barely walk and so this obviously wasn't his first time in your home. Before you could make it more than a few steps away he grabs your wrist and pulls you back. You yelp as you stumble back towards him. He chuckles and pins you up against the door.      
"Is everything okay down there Y/N?" A masculine voice calls out from upstairs, making both you and Vernon freeze.
"Sorry Mr. Y/L/N! I accidentally bumped into her and scared her!" he calls out.
"Hansol is that you? It's been a while!" The voice calls out again.
"Yes sir it has been a very long time," he begins shooting you a look that gave you chills, "Y/N invited me over to study for our big economics test tomorrow!"
"Oh that was a great idea on your part honey!" your father calls out to you this time.
"Yes sir, he is pretty good at the subject and I figured it would be v-very b-beneficial to m-me." You stutter out as Vernon licks up the side of your neck before beginning to suck on it.
"Well, I'll leave you two be! I have a big presentation tomorrow so I'll be up here in my office working on that! Knock if you need me!"
"Will do sir!." Vernon responds all the while looking at you with a smirk. You both here the door to your father's office close and you look at him incredulously.

"You asked if I wanted a snack." He replies with a shrug looking you up and down hungrily, "I figured I'd help myself to what your parents made."
"Not only was that extremely cringe, it also isn’t on the fucking menu."
"When you tell me to stop I will, but for now..." He trails off as his mouth returns to your neck.
"Verns, s-seriously. My d-dad is l-literally right up the stairs." You say biting back moans.

You protest in harsh whispers as he walks you to the kitchen and sits you down on the table.

She was having the time of her life. Everything was simply perfect. She had a perfect job, perfect best friend and perfect boyfriend. It seemed almost surreal. But the thing was that moments like this don't last long. And Y/N was not an exception.

It all started in the middle of December 1969, almost after 5 months of the happiest time in her life. 
She was sitting in her apartment watching the night through a window, with a cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other. A little smile appeared on her face when she heard the phone ringing.
"Yes?"
"Hello baby."
Even only these two words sent shivers down her spine and her smile grew bigger. "Hey Cliff. What's up?"
"I'm really sorry but I can't make it tonight. I have a lot of work with Rick on the set. We can't film this one scene right."
"Oh, okay. Don't worry about it. We can have dinner next time."
"I knew you'd understand. Promise I'll make it up to you, baby."
Her excitement faded a little bit but she was glad she could at least hear his voice today. She threw the cigarette butt out of the window and opened a new beer. A nice night off was really something useful now.
But the phone rang again. She was confused a bit but picked it up. "Hello?"
"Hey Y/N! What y-you doing tonight? I h-have a free day in w-work. Wanna meet up?" 
It was Rick. She felt like someone stabbed her in the stomach and then twisted with the knife in the wound. 
"Maybe another time, mate." she said quickly and hang up the phone. She didn't want to make any accelerated desicion but she just couldn't stop a few tears from falling. Apparently, something was wrong in her perfect life. 
She wasn't sure if she should call Cliff right away or just wait and ask him about it later. She looked outside for an answer but the moon was jut blankly starring at her and the city seemed somehow calm and quiet. And then, out of the sudden, it started snowing. 
She always got so happy when the winter was coming but now, she just wasn't able to.

After a long and exhausting day at work, she thought it'd be nice to sit down in some little cafeteria and relax a bit. She needed this more than anything. 
Y/N got out of studio and when she wanted to cross the road, she heard someone calling her name. Rick ran to her all so sweaty while heavily breathing. "What's the matter, man?" she laughed and stepped back a little. Rick raised his hand as a sign to give him a few seconds to catch a breath. "Cliff didn't show up t-today and I don't have anyone to drive me home. Then i saw you and i thought w-we could spend a day together or something. We h-haven't done that in a long time." the actor suggested. 
Cliff did not show up to give him a lift? What the hell is going on?
"Why not? By the way, what's up with Cliff?"
"You don't know? I-i thought you'd know."
That was it. That was the last drop. Cliff should be right here, right now, picking her and Rick up and then they should all go to have some dinner and have a lovely time.
But he wasn't here and she knew there's a chance he might never will be again.

As the night went by, she and Rick were blind drunk, like the good old times. "Oh Rick, I've missed you so much." Y/N breathed out and took a drag from her cigarette. "Me too! We haven't been doing t-these fucking  parties since you got together with Cliff. You were both oh so f-fucking in love and i didn't want to i-interupt that."
After these words, she took a long drag from her cigarette, it almost seemed like she wanted to bury all the pain deep down inside of her. Because the thing was, they probably weren't in love anymore. It was just her.

"You know what? Let's go visit Cliff!" she suggested lively and jumped out of her chair. "W-woah, Y/N. You sure you wanna do t-this? Apparently, there's something wrong." Rick said kindly and took her hand in his.
"That's exactly why. This whole ignorance is killing me. Rick, i deserve to know what's fucking going on. He can't just push me out of his life without a word, not after what we've been through."
"I know. It's just- i don't u-understand what this is all about. This isn't him, Y/N. He's not like that. Fuck, i can't e-even count how many times he's told me how much he l-loves you and how he doesn't want to fuck things up."
"Oh dear Rick, he already did that."

They were standing in front of Cliff's trailer and neither of them dared to knock. They were scared of what they might find inside - the most ridiculous scenarios were rushing through Y/N's mind one after another. "I'll wait over there, d-dear." Rick whispered and began to walk away. Now, it was only her.
Y/N knocked on the door and walked in. She froze right in the middle of her movement. Cliff was laying on the small bed, cigarette hanging from his lips as usual as his ocean eyes wandered on a beautiful woman's body - she was standing in the little kitchen trying to cook something dressed in one of Cliff's shirts - Y/N's favourite and she was sure Cliff knew. 
"Look, it's not-" Cliff began to explain quickly and tried to get out of bed.
"Just shut up! I've had enough of this! I just don't understand why you haven't told me earlier and kept on going doing... this!" 
They were staring at each other and she thought that his ocean eyes are still the most beautiful ones she'd ever seen. 
"Hey! I'm Cassidy!" the woman broke the silence and smiled sweetly at her. Y/N just rolled her eyes and turned back to Cliff: "After all we've been through? I think i fucking deserve at least to know why!"
"It's hard to explain." he said quietly and threw his cigarette away.
"What the fuck, Cliff? Hard to explain? For you? I'm outta here."
She heard Cliff calling after her but she wasn't listening to him. She needed to be as far as possible. At this point, she wasn't able to stop the tears from falling. At least, she still had Rick to take care of her now.

It'd been one week now, one long week without him. It was harder than she thought, so damn harder. No calls, no messages, nothing and Y/N started to wonder if she has ever meant something to him. It was still breaking her heart but she finally realized the truth - Cliff hadn't cared, obviously. And she wasn't able to handle this fact.

The next day, a postman left a letter at her doorstep. This was rather strange since she hadn't been receiving any kind of correspondence.
She sat down in her living room and finally looked at it for the first time. Her heart skipped a beat. She could recognize this handwriting everywhere.

Dean's POV
There's this girl that I've known for about 5 years. She would help us on hunts, my brother and I would return the favor. Then there were times when she would come to the bunker needing assistance or to be healed, and once she was healed she would leave, she would leave in the middle of the night when we are asleep leaving notes on the library table saying 'I will see you soon boys don't miss me too much' she would leave little notes like that for us to see.
I would be lying to myself if I didn't say that I miss her because I miss her so damn much. I have never developed feelings for someone in a long time, every time I see her come to the bunker and she's hurt my heart breaks a little inside and I'm the one who cares for her, Sam was there just to help if I wasn't there. When she leaves it crushes me, I just want her to stay, I miss her, call me being overprotective but I hate it when she's out there by herself. I know she can take care of herself because damn that girl is a badass and that's one of the reasons why I fell in love with her and why I need her to stay.
There she was again...
My phone ringing and her caller ID coming up with a picture of her and I together leaning against baby, I loved that picture it was the only picture I have of us together. He remembers that day like it was yesterday, after a successful hunt they went out to go get burgers and Sam was getting the food when he couldn't resist the moment so he secretly took a picture of us and it was perfect. I was in mid laughter while y/n was smiling and looking at me with admiration. When I was done reminiscing about that day I immediately answered the phone.
I barely even had time to say hello before I heard her voice.
"Hey Dean, you're gonna hate me right now" she spoke softly, her voice was hard to understand.
"What happened Y/n?" I asked.
She sighed before she spoke, "I was hunting some vamps and I thought I could handle it on my own and I kinda did but I'm seriously injured again" she winces as she spoke.
I was furious that she got herself hurt again but I sighed and told her I would go and get her.
"Ah there's my hero, but hurry please Dean" She hung up, sending him her location.
I told Sam where I was going and he insisted in going with me but I told him no. Then he got a smirk on his face, I knew what that smirk was. I stopped him before he said anything.
"No not yet Samny, I will but I need find the right time and its not the right time" I smiled at Sam and he nodded.
"Call if you need anything" Sam yelled as I left.
When I got to her she was sitting outside blood everywhere I didn't know if it was hers or the vamps. Then when I got closer I knew it was hers.
"Y/n?" I called her name, she opened her beautiful (y/e/c) eyes.
"Dean my knight in shinning armor has come to rescue me" she winced as she spoke.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Its a long story, can you just take me back to the bunker please I'm bleeding out here for god's sake Winchester" She yelled but winced once again.
"Sure thing my lady" I said while picking her up slowly and carefully.
"I'm not your lady Winchester and just hurry to the bunker" she smirked.
I just smiled and thought to myself not yet you aren't but you will be. I carried her into my car making sure she was comfortable in the backseat.
When I arrived at the bunker I immediately tended to her wounds like I always do and make sure shes ok and that she has everything she needs.
There's one thing that still needs to be said but that can wait till she gets some rest.
While Sam and I are looking at possible cases she wakes up and makes her way to the library.
"Hi Sam, Hi Dean" She spoke out softly.
Sam smiled and said hi back she sat in the chair next to Dean.
"What are you guys doing?" She asked.
"Researching" Sam spoke, "well I am Dean might be looking at porn again" Sam chuckled,this made Y/n giggle. I love her giggle, scratch that I love everything about her.
"So, Y/n I need to ask you something" I cleared my throat softly as I spoke.
"What is it Dean?" She leaned back in her chair looking at me.
"Sam and I have discussed this recently" I spoke softly. She nodded and gestured me to go on.
"We think you should stay here with us in the bunker and once you get better you can help us on hunts and you can always help us" I felt like I jumbled my words all together.
"I don't want burden you guys" She said.
"Y/n, you are not going to burden us" Sam chimed in. She looked at me for my answer and she knew but my look I wanted her to stay. She thought about it for a while before agreeing that she would stay.
A month had passed by and she was still here it has been amazing having her here but there's one problem. My love for her has only been growing, Sam knew about this he could tell. He kept telling me that I needed to confess to her. I just waved him off like I always do or ignored him.
Then it wasn't until the day I saw her wearing one of my flannels. She looked amazing it, there were so many inappropriate thoughts going through my head and I couldn't stop any of them.
I cleared my throat before I spoke, "sorry if I scared you but that's my flannel" I smirked.
"Oh really I didn't notice, it's quite comfy" she smiled and winked.
I really wanted to bend her over the table in the library and... my mind really needed to stop.
As months passed by the feelings for Y/n only escalated and I needed to confess to her but I've never been good with my words, so I had to think of something to come up with to help me confess not feelings for her. I thought about so many ideas and I even talked to Sam about it. Then it came to me I knew what I was going to do.
I spent hours making this for her, I made her a cassette tape with songs that would maybe have a clue to how much I love her. This would be perfect for her, she appreciates classic rock songs just as much as I do. That is another reason why I fell so deeply in love with her.
Now its just taking her to a secluded area somewhere either here in the bunker or I could take her somewhere in the impala. I think the impala would be the best things because Sammy doesn't approve of our choice of music.
A day later while we were sitting at the library trying to find a case, I made eye contact with Sam to make sure its ok if I take off with y/n. He smiled and knew he was ok with that.
"Y/n,me and you let's go get some food" I smiled, while grabbing my jacket that was hanging on the chair.
She got up without hesitation and we were off. As we were driving I was very silent, that's because I had to plan out how I was going to do this how I was going to show her the cassette tape I made for her.
"Dean? Are you ok?" I heard her say.
"I'm peachy, sweetheart" I winked at her, I saw the light shade of pink that crept on her cheeks as she smiled at me.
As I was driving, I realized I had no exact destination to where I was going. Until I saw a dirt road on the right side of the road so I turned down the road, I had explored with Sam once. Just to make sure it was a perfect place.
The night was beautiful, this reminds of all the times her and I were talking about everything on the hood of the impala. It was perfect the stars above us shining brightly, the moonlight shinning down on us and the city lights over the cliff a beautiful sight, this was the perfect area. Once I saw this place I knew it was the perfect place.
"Dean why are we here?" She asked me.
"We are here because it's a beautiful night and I wanted to share this with you. I took out the cassette tape and put it into the cassette player in the impala.
The first song that played was Lady by Styx
I knew this song was perfect for her because of how perfect the lyrics are and how much they relate to her.
'Lady from the moment I saw you standing all alone'
'You gave all the love that I needed'
Her eyes lit up as soon as she realized what I had done.
"Dean.." she gasped.
"Y/n, I'm in love with-" before I could finish my sentence she crashed her lips into mine, her kiss was soft and delicate.
As the next song played Whole lotta love by Led Zeppelin
This song couldn't be any more better than this moment because this moment was the best of my life. As she stopped, resting our foreheads against each other.
"I'm in love with you too" She smiled and kissed me once more.
This moment was the greatest I couldn't be more happier in this moment alone.
"Do I get to add to this cassette tape you made or no?" She asked.
I smiled, "you can add any song you want I won't judge you" I kissed her again.
Nothing can ruin this moment or be any more better.

An: so I'm finally on summer break but I'll be moving so I'll be busy but I will get to writing much more now and sorry this took so long Finals really kicked my butt...
