eito is the personification of ' but i can fix them ' and he sticks around despite everyone else telling him not to because he has the dumb idea in his mind that he can help people change their ways
but really all that happens is he gets further dragged down and it's just this dark descent into madness almost because eito has such strong morals and is very much like??? neutral good alignment and ugh
he is ride or die but like - lets not romanticize it it's totally not healthy. this man is so terrified of love for so long that when he finally gets what he considers love, when he allows himself that feeling -- he will excuse almost anything that they do, or at the very least, he'd turn a blind to it.
#ec#but when i say turn a blind eye i mean i guess i mean more will harp on about they shouldn't do bad things#will beg them to change their ways and see that their behaviour isn't great#but ultimately will stay with them regardless of whether they change or not#except in his jjk verse where his canon ending that i have for him is like??? martyrdom pretty much

TAZ Ethersea my beloved.....
#was thinking of all the god stuff in c 3 and for some reason it just made me remember how much I LOVED griffin's portrayal of gods#and magic in that world they all built together--#magic being drawn from these ancient 'relics' that are just...the bones and corpses of dead gods--#everything starts with the end of the world. but the world has ended before. over and over. and continues to because its a vicious#cycle. and people are too dependent on magic and a 'god' to let go of it--even when it keeps polluting the world#'gods' just being the survivors of the previous world that didn't make it. the last remnants of a world that is completely alien now#the 'gods' who tried to stop a never ending cycle from continuing to corrupt the world around them. the 'god' who decided that they#would still gift the people of this new world magic regardless even when they know it means the beginning of the end#all the fascinating different factions and how they tried to deal with a world that was falling part and how you rebuild after#the people who saw what their god had done and decided to walk away and abandon everything they know. to try again and start over--#build something better than the kingdom that had forsaken them--#the kingdom on the plateau who were very religious and believed they could 'ascend' to this other world to escape the end. the way#they took everyone with them regardless of whether or not they wanted to leave that plane. those who tried to stay behind lingering#as these ghosts and spirits. trying so hard to reconnect to the world they were torn from#the grand magical city of hominime managing to escape with their god's blessing. but their getaway is also ultimately what dooms#everyone else they left behind--#the CAMBRIA arc!!#brother seldom and all the religious trauma that went into that ending#this got too long but. i have so many feelings about ethersea id love to see more of it someday--#the worldbuilding is just so fascinating to me#I dont know where i was really going with this but like. even when we see some of the awful things Pelor has done. There are all these#other facets to him. He genuinely cares for mortals just as he cares for his immortal family. Ayden being proof that he can#change and wants to change and being this side of him that still has so much idealism and hope and has not yet been hardened#by the world#Benevolence Adventure Zone however i would fist fight in the ocean--

one musical to movie change i haven't really seen anyone talk about is the subtle difference in how glinda's potential future with the wizard is laid out to her before defying gravity (and how that changes how you can read her motivations).
in the musical the wizard explictly says "you have so many opportunities ahead of you - you both do" and then that's that, so glinda has reason to believe she has a legitimate future with the wizard regardless of whether elphaba's there. this can play into the interpretation that she stays behind for her own ambitions - she clearly has opportunities waiting for her.
however, this actually isn't how it comes across in the movie, at least to me. the wizard's original inclusion of glinda in his plans is changed from explicitly mentioning opportunity to just "you having a home here [...] and if it'll make you happy, possibly, your friend." in the movie version, the wizard directly states only that glinda would be joining them in the palace - and it's merely a suggestion as an addition to elphaba (she's even just referred to as her friend, not being spoken directly to) to make elphaba want to stay, rather than him describing glinda as someone who could have her own individual opportunities.
then, when elphaba runs away, morrible tells glinda "you want to do yourself some good, bring her back." here, morrible now suggests that glinda could do something for herself and her individual future. what i find interesting is that glinda instead jumps on the hot air balloon with elphaba and even fights off the guards with her. while glinda does try to talk elphaba down for awhile ("let's just have a word with them," "you've got to let him explain," etc.), she ultimately abandons this approach by the time elphaba has chosen to defy gravity.
in the movie, glinda goes against morrible's direct orders of bringing elphaba back when she accepts elphaba's choice to leave and helps her get ready. this means that by supporting elphaba in her decision, glinda actually abandons the chance she believes she has to finally get in with morrible (and by extension the wizard). in movie-verse, glinda really has no reason to believe staying behind without elphaba could advance her own ambitions, because both the wizard and morrible have laid out a potential future for her that is reliant on having elphaba at her side and keeping elphaba compliant to them (and using glinda to do that). i don't think that movie!glinda ultimately stays behind for selfish/power-seeking reasons, because the wizard and morrible haven't actually suggested to her that she has a path alongside them as an individual. (they also just truly show no interest in glinda as an individual person in a much more obvious way than in the musical, but that could be its own post.)
ariana grande has spoken a couple times on how one of the emotions glinda feels in the added hug scene with morrible is relief, and i think this all is why. glinda chose to stay behind while helping elphaba escape, knowing it was disobeying what was asked of her. given glinda is also being detained by the guards in that moment, i think that relief comes from her genuinely not having known if she would be safe or would become essentially a prisoner after staying behind, and feeling relief when morrible does free/accept her and suggests there's still a path for her.
there's definitely moral grayness to discuss with how glinda accepts her position within the regime and settles into it, but i think (in movie-verse) the actual choice to stay behind isn't one of those moments — it wasn't established to glinda that staying behind without elphaba could actually lead her to power and opportunity with the wizard, and she directly goes against the one path to power that was suggested to her by helping elphaba leave.
#wicked analysis#does this essay have a point? unclear tbh#but it's something i've been thinking about a lot especially when people discuss glinda's motivations#bc i don't actually see movie!glinda as being selfish in this specific moment#gelphie#kinda#wicked#wicked movie

Are smut Headcanons okay?? What r your HC about Arkham Harvey dent with an inexperienced reader ? Like its her first time but she's super shy.

Arkham! Two Face x Fem!Reader Headcanons oh my god yeah ok this is!! yippee!! thank you anon for this delicious fucking request 💙 request info • prompt list • send me a request • kofi • masterlist minors DNI!! 🔞 cw: corruption kink, loss of virginity, rough sex, praise, posessive, marking kinda, obsessive

the minute he finds out that you're inexperienced (in any way really, not just if you're a virgin) he's honing in on you
there's something so appealng to him about being the main factor in someone's corruption
in passing on the torch of becoming someone new, someone a bit nastier, a bit freakier
it means he can mark you as his own, albeit in a less scarring way than he was
but he's determined to be your first, the one you think back on fondly (if he ever lets you go)
and he won't be shy about his intentions (or possible achievements) either
he needs to make sure that everyone knows who changed you into the very experienced little thing you are
he'll offer you his coin, letting you decide which of them is going to be the one who fucks you first
so hopefully it lands on your preference, or that you don't really have one
if it's two face then it's going to start off rough and not let up
it might hurt at first, but he'll make sure it's worth it in the end
you'll eventually get used to it, because this is not going to be over in any short amount of time
he'll be testing your limits, but ultimately ignoring them
it's a game to him, another name on the list of people he's ruined, another accomplishment
someone else who can't be with anyone else, who longs for him, who only thinks about him when they're alone and needy
whether you cum or not is hardly his interests, it's only about filling you and stretching you
and he's cumming inside of you regardless, so he stays with you even after he's finished brutally fucking you
if it's harvey, then he'll make sure to begin gently
your comfort is important to him, not only because he's more gentlemanly than big bad harv
but because it feels more in line with his own corruption, which is what excites him most
you're a good girl, a sweet and innocent girl
and you're about to have that ripped away from you
the minute you're finding your bearings with his pace, he starts ramping it up
reminding you that there really is a very thin line between harvey and harv these days
but at the very least, harvey makes sure to keep asking if you're ok
he's not going to intentionally hurt you, unless you beg him
and he'll praise you the whole time, telling you how good you are, how sweet you are, how well you're taking him
telling you that your his, "mine, mine, mine" as he reaches his climax, cumming whereever you want, your choice

Staying Over at Rohan Kishibe’s House for the First Time Headcanons
↳ Takes place after Kira escapes from the Duwang gang and assumes another identity. Reader hinted to be a stand user. Gender neutral Reader with they/them pronouns.
A/n: I’ve recently started the live action Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan show; I adore it. I’m rather biased towards his character, finding him wildly entertaining. But Araki, man, I get you. I hope y’all enjoy! <3
Warning(s): Canon-typical danger; mentions of Kira’s crimes and the threat he imposes.

You’ve only been going out with Rohan Kishibe for a month or two.
When the manga artist took a month’s long hiatus from publishing- due to a rather unfortunate scuffle with one Josuke Higashitaka -you’d been by his side nearly day and night. Considering the state his body was in, you couldn’t help but fuss over him all throughout his recovery.
The first couple of days, Rohan was bitter and insisted his own independence.
He claimed he ‘doesn’t need anyone's help,’ but his protests ultimately fell on deaf ears. You made it clear you weren’t budging; proving to be just as stubborn as he is.
A handful of days into the new routine, he grew quiet.
And to your credit, you didn’t bat much of an eye at that. If you were at all curious over the change in his behavior, you kept that to yourself. Keeping any questions inside as you continued to dote on him. He… found that he really appreciated that.
And after some consideration, the free time allowing him to ponder, he better understood just how much he appreciates you. Wrapping his head around it… he would’ve grown annoyed at the trouble if it weren’t for his fondness for you.
Eventually, after the first week, it seemed to you that he suddenly started silently accepting your help out of the blue.
There was no pushing back against the assistance anymore.
Rohan needed to take the time off from writing or drawing, liking it or not. Having specifically your company to fill the time… well, he could’ve done worse (His exact words).
Whether or not Rohan had the beating coming didn’t once cross your mind; only your concern over his well-being plagued your thoughts. It’s something that came so naturally to you; the feelings you harbor for the mangaka not as much of a hassle for you to digest.
That said, neither did the possibility of him taking any note of your kindness reach your train of thought. At first, you figured him saying any variation of ‘thank you’ was just politeness.
Even less… your deeper affection for him is another thing you figured would go unaddressed.
Regardless of your surprise, the time spent together proved to be the final push the both of you needed to make things official.
He was direct, almost blunt, when asking you about your feelings for him. Eyes focused on you, falling expectantly silent as he waited for an answer.
When did he notice? How long had he been sitting on asking you about it? You could only guess.
But the relationship that formed that day was more than enough for you to be thankful you’d been completely honest with him.
It’s… rather unfortunate a relationship blossomed during such a dark time for the quiet town of Morioh. Koichi, Josuke, and Okuyasu shared the same sentiment on the matter.
Fast forward a handful of weeks later and tragedy struck once more. The killer had taken action against a middle schooler; his devilish nature clearly knowing no bounds.
Although you didn’t know the boy personally, just the thought of this illusive killer taking a young life so completely without hint or warning… it quickly sent shivers down your spine.
After meeting with the other stand users in town, the lump in your throat only became thicker. Your stomach swirling, and palms growing clammy.
The little crowd dissipated, and you walked away from the gathering with Rohan at your side.
The two of you remained silent; too much on both of your minds to speak.
Your gaze stayed fixated on the concrete sidewalk. Each crack or indent from lifetimes of personalities meeting it’s support… and possibility being used by him. Your feet potentially using a route the killar has utilized at least once in all his time in Morioh.
That possibility makes another chill roll down your spine.
You would’ve thought yourself to be paranoid if it weren’t the reality you were living. Succumbing to your darkest thoughts and a level of anxiety that somehow kept your body moving forward on auto-pilot.
At least, that was until the mangaka walking beside you finally spoke up, not even glancing your way as he did so.
“You should stay at my place for the time being,” he had told you in a frank tone, “Your stand still hasn’t fully materialized like mine or the others. If the killer were to track you down, you’d likely be at a huge disadvantage. You’re staying with me.”
If it were coming from anyone else, you’d consider slapping them due to the nerve of it.
But this is Rohan... and reading into his actions has become second nature to you at this point.
You considered his earlier quietness; what you could discern from a quick glance minutes ago. His eyes sharp with thought, and the usually comfortable silence uncharacteristically thick with tension.
His decisive tone didn’t come as a surprise, but the commanding structure and choice of his words got the gears in your mind turning.
Rohan’s reasoning was sound, sure, but a man like him only ever speaks with purpose. He means every word that pools from his lips. And the knowledge of how he behaves in less extreme situations implicitly reveals his true feelings on the matter:
He was worried.
The killer’s ability to murder right underneath everyone’s noses became real that day. Even with the previous killings, it didn’t strike the same chord until one of your own had been lost. No one is untouchable, and that strikes fear.
In short, the killer is dangerous... and likely knows people are out looking for him.
Rohan would never speak a word of it, but that reality struck unease even into him. If not maybe for his own sake, but for yours.
And it manifests exactly as you would expect. It could easily be left unnoticed, but you know him better than to miss such a thing.
Rohan’s motivation was clear in no time at all. The town just lost another child to this monster. Hell if he’s going to let you to slip right from underneath his nose.
Coupled with that overwhelming weight, as well as his own personal habits, don’t expect staying over at his place to feel all that domestic as soon as you cross through the front door.
Rohan cares about you, of course, but that’s not going to stop him from making a beeline to his office the moment he’s inside.
His home is familiar, no doubt, but provides no ease with him locked up inside his workroom.
There isn’t a single noise behind the closed door, letting your mind trick yourself into believing you’re alone.
The bare walls and simple furniture don’t assist much either, even with art hung up on display here and there. Only glimpses of personal touch.
As soon as the killer is dealt with, you resolve to press him about decorating more.
Hours pass your very first day there, and the only time you ever see him is when he grabbed a little box of leftovers from the refrigerator for dinner. Only focused on satisfying his body’s need for food, he hadn’t said a passing word.
You knew better than to expect it anyway.
Instead, he simply warmed the food up in an expensive-looking microwave a room away, and was already working on shoving it impatiently in his mouth while walking right back upstairs...
How long has it been since then? you wonder, a soft sigh escaping your lips.
You’ve sat yourself on Rohan's welcoming couch, distracting yourself with late night television. The couch itself is a dull color with nice cushions, but lacking in the household-to-household personality only developed from frequent use. A blanket is lazily wrapped around your shoulders, and the TV screen gently illuminates your face. Your eyes gloss over the images that flash at you, seeing but not registering a single thing.
There’s no helping it. A child died today; the killer slick and tactful enough not to leave a single trace behind.
You turn away from the screen in quiet defeat, gaze wandering out a window in the living room. The sun has long vanished beneath the horizon, the darkness outside not allowing you to view much of anything.
Your eyelids are fighting to stay open despite your mind’s business.
A part of you was hoping Rohan would’ve come out of his study by now, but that’s proven to be wishful thinking. Honestly… I should know better than to assume that, you think to yourself.
The current situation has undoubtedly given him a lot to ponder; a lot to write down.
Staring back towards at his living room TV once more, you give no honest effort in trying to paying attention. The sitcom provides no escape, no relief. It’s nothing real, after all. Just a fantasy fabricated by some executive. The constant laugh tracks grating on the eardrums. The volume is low, but it still disrupts regardless.
Alas, nothing else of such promising whimsy is on.
Your fingertips curl, grasping at the blanket around your shoulders. The soft surface stresses in your tight hold. You bite your lower lip in consideration, so hard you have to cut it out less you accidentally cut any skin.
The show takes a sudden pause to provide a few minutes of advertisements. Images of impossibly tempting pizza and seafood flicker on the screen, price tags proudly displayed and narrations enthusiastically going on about how worth it’ the food is. Your lips tighten, and eyebrows furrow. You’re not hungry, so the images do nothing but annoy.
Still, you do anything to ensure you’re still awake for just a little while longer. A necessary factor in the decision your mind finally screamed at you to just follow through with.
Go say goodnight to Rohan, and just go to freaking bed already.
Moving carefully slow, you work on shutting down the TV and peeling yourself from the couch. You swear the process takes minutes at a time, though you don’t check the clock hanging on the wall to confirm. You’d have to squint in order to properly digest it in the dark lighting; why extend the effort?
Mentally saying goodbye to the living room with a final glance, your feet scrape the wooden flooring to move your body towards the stairs ascending to the second floor.
You’re cautious of making any noise while walking steadily closer to his study, keenly aware of your boyfriend’s need for peace and quiet.
Stopping right in front of the closed door, you take in a deep breath before knocking as lightly as you can muster. Knowing full-well he’d have heard it, you don’t wait for a response before entering.
It’s a privilege you gladly wear on your sleeve.
“Rohan…?” you gingerly call, poking your head into the room.
It’s dimly lit inside, only his desk lamp illuminating whatever it is he’s hunched over. No sunlight is present outside, yet the shades are drawn anyway.
There’s a brief pause before he turns his body around in his chair, looking at you with a raised brow. “What do you need?” he asks.
The tone of his voice is a soft reflection of a gentle atmosphere present in the air. Much more welcoming than the walk earlier. That said, there’s impatience laced in his tone- something that he never cares to hide.
You smile, thankful of his subtle movements.
Sure, he doesn’t like being interrupted by anyone. But even Koichi would be met with a harsh word or two at an interruption.
But you’re different. A familiar and welcome presence. If it weren’t getting so late, he may have offered you to look at what he’s been working on. It’s a fact that either feeds right into your ego or is too flustering to ponder further.
Maybe somewhere in between.
“I was just going to head to bed… I wanted to say goodnight and-” you rub the back of your neck sheepishly. “-I’m also wondering where I should sleep is all. You’ve got a lot of empty rooms, so I just wanted to make sure-“
“Just sleep in my bed,” he cuts you off, the tone of his voice completely serious.
“I-… your…” you hesitate, taken aback by his bluntness. Rohan is truly something else; causing you to short-circuit with five simple words. “But where will you sleep?”
God, I sound ridiculous, you think.
A chuckle escapes his lips, turning to look down at his desk once more. You hear a distant scraping noise, evidence that he’s started drawing again.
“You know we’re dating, right? I’m still going to work for a while longer. But I’ll join you in bed later.” He tells you, leaning his head back momentarily as if this conversation is a tad bit pointless to him. Still, he adds with a sigh, “But of course, if that would cause you discomfort, then feel free to take the guest bedroom across from mine.”
You shake your head slowly, even though he’s no longer looking at you. Stay in a different room? No way. His sigh tells you he finds that idea undesirable as well.
“I’ll stay with you. I wouldn’t want to be alone tonight anyways. Goodnight then… make sure you get some rest, Rohan,” you say, voice considerably gentler than before.
“Goodnight, Y/n,” he responds. “And since you’re telling me to do so… then I’ll consider it.”
You can hear the smile in his voice.
He was just so… upfront about it.
Your eyes stay widened even as you shut his office door. Standing completely still right outside his work space for a full minute before daring to peer down the hallway leading to the master bedroom.
His bedroom… the one he so casually welcomed you to join him in.
That warms your chest for the first time in hours. The smallest amount of comfort is provided just seeing him again. Remembering, oh right, he’s in the same space as you.
But the added prospect of sleeping at his side… that manages to pull your mind away from Morioh’s affliction.
How could you hope to refuse a suggestion like that?
You begin to make your way to the room, but your feet do not drag this time around.
If Rohan said it’s okay, then it really is. There’s no need to doubt yourself when he’s invited you so clearly; he’d be offended if you didn’t take his word for it.
Inside the bedroom is neat and clean.
A little bare, granted, but there is some more artwork hung up on the wall- evidentially an unsurprising consistent in his home. There’s a mirror above a large wooden dresser as well- a photo of his parents sitting on top of the mahogany surface.
The dresser itself is a little redundant, considering a walk-in closet across the room. Or maybe it’s perfectly reasonable. You hardly ever see Rohan wearing the same outfit twice.
The door itself is left thoughtlessly open, the darkness within the confined space making your stomach churn. No windows present inside, it’s the purest void in the home.
You make your way to it in just a couple quick steps, and shut it with a frown on your face.
The door’s soft click shut causes a huff to leave your nostrils, as if you’d just saved yourself from something life-threatening.
The only other notable object in the room, aside from two nightstands, is a large bed.
It’s the only thing within eye-shot not meticulously put together. Sheets and blankets left on the mattress without being remade.
The pillows on one half of the bed still indented from daily use. The sheets themselves are silk, and similarly to the pillows on the same side, the imprint of your boyfriend’s body rolling out it earlier that day is still visible.
He clearly doesn’t spend much time in his bedroom.
You still find yourself hoping the bed smells like him regardless. Silence undercut with the sounds of you discarding the clothes you’d worn that day. They stink of sweat, a reminder of how nervous you’d gotten just before dinner time.
Your sleeping clothes, luckily, hold no such memory. Comfortable and encouraging sleep; just what you needed.
And Lord, you were right about the sheets smelling like Rohan.
Laying down on the unused side of the mattress, you are overwhelmed by a lovely mix of his favorite cologne and his natural scent. You’re ashamed to have taken in a couple deep breaths the moment you make yourself comfortable.
After one of the most frightful days of your entire life, you couldn’t think of a better end to it.
Rohan clearly doesn’t cheap out on his own bed set either, much to your delight. The comforter is engulfing and enough to lull your occupied mind into shifting gears.
Now, your only lamenting over just how truly tired you feel. And the silk sheets almost make you feel envious of your boyfriend. Almost.
It would if it weren’t for the simple fact that maybe... just maybe staying over will become a regular occurrence.
Situation called for everyone to look out for one another, but the barrier has been broken regardless. And it’s a pleasant thing to ponder during the last few minutes of your day.
Staying with Rohan. In his own space. A habit lasting long after the killer is gone and dealt with.
Even in the dark, new space, you cannot help but smile. Your eyes finally flutter shut, but the groggy joy displayed doesn’t falter.
Rohan’s casual attitude over you sleeping in the same bed as him makes you believe it really might become a regular occurrence. At least… he likely wouldn’t turn you down asking to stay over for a night (Not that you’ve ever asked before).
The future of your relationship eclipses your fear just long enough to allow for genuine rest.
Already fallen asleep by the time he retreats to the bedroom after hours of non-stop work, Rohan himself slips into the room quietly a few minutes past midnight.
Observing your peaceful form sleeping in his own bed fills him with a sort of pride he only ever used to associate with his writing.
Not that he’d ever directly admit to such a thing. He’s with you after all, and that clearly depicts how he feels.
At least, that’s what he tells himself.
Because regardless… he still finds himself contemplating you while he changes his clothes.
Your understanding of just his actions and the subtle inflections in his expressions is something to be admired.
Hell, you are someone to be admired in general. Pictures of you sprinkled in his sketchbook, an eager desperation to capture what he sees on the page.
He figures he could study you for hours at a time if you let him.
Just a couple months into being official and you’ve already proven yourself to be the loyal partner he always hoped to find, however deep down that desire may had been kept.
Deep down.... he ponders, slipping into bed next to you. Turning his head in your direction, he stares shamelessly while thinking.
Rohan’s own hopes lie in learning how to properly express himself to you.
So accommodating yourself... it makes him want to commit to giving you a fulfilling relationship. It’s a feeling he’s recently gotten around to fully understanding, but one that in the shadows of a gloomy night... he silently embraces.
Just the same as him physically reaching out an arm to embrace you, just before resigning himself to a deep sleep...
When you finally wake, Rohan has already gotten up and left you to sleep in peace. Late to rest, early to rise.
What catches your immediate attention, though, is the smell of coffee brewing in the floor below you. Rubbing the sleep from your eyes, you don’t bother changing just yet before pulling yourself from the mattress. The wooden flooring chills the pads of your feet, but it does nothing to hinder your journey out of his bedroom.
Walking silently down the hall, that smell only hits your nostrils harder. Warm and fresh… you sigh, I can feel myself waking up already.
And if the scent of coffee doesn't do the trick, turning a corner to spot Rohan sipping out of a cup held in his hand at the dining room table certainly does.
His hair is still a bit ruffled from sleep, along with the notable absence of any color variation of headband. A robe lazily holds onto his shoulders, loosely tied around his waist to stay in place. His expression is neutral, face pointed down to the newspaper held in his other hand.
Those familiar green eyes flicker up at you when you enter. Although you tread lightly around his home, any noise around him is hardly ever missed.
“Good morning, Y/n,” he greets you gently, setting down his newspaper. It’s only when he examines you does it cross your mind that you quite literally rolled out of bed, and likely look like it too. An amused expression reaches his face as he adds, “Slept well?”
“Yes... I did,” you confirm, touching the ends of your hair. Only for it to drop a moment later; under his observation your only met with warmth. Prompting you to approach the table instead of growing anxious.
You don’t sit down, but you can more clearly examine the details of his face from your position.
“Your bed is very comfortable,” you go on with a smile. “I’m almost jealous.”
He chuckles at your last statement, his smirk shifting to a more genuine smile. Followed by a nod and hum of approval. Rohan takes a moment to take a sip from his cup of coffee, and you give him that moment patiently.
“I’m glad you think so,” he replies, “I do my best to get my eight hours, after all.”
Being someone so meticulous over environment, his response confirms your suspicion that he takes a special care in where he sleeps. Your smile grows wider.
“You think that means I just need to sleep over in order to get my full eight hours?”
Rohan lets out a scoff at that, the sound hiding a laugh at your eager question. “For me, dear. Not for you. You could sleep on the damn floor for all I care.”
“Now, Rohan-“
“But the theory is certainly worth a try,” he cuts you off, that easy smile still on his face. A mischievous gleam flickering in his eyes.
Oh.
“Then we ought to… your bed is really lovely. I’d hate to waste the opportunity,” you reply, picking up what he was putting down. Your tone turns cheeky as you add, “Plus, getting to sleep next to you… well, that’s cool too, I guess.”
“Just cool? You guess? Sleeping beside me?” he scoffs, taking a sip of his coffee. “I made extra coffee, by the way. Go grab yourself a cup; you clearly need it.”
You laugh at his words, glancing over to the coffee pot still sitting patiently on the stove. It’s tempting to go and do as he suggested right away.
Noting to do so in a moment, you turn back to Rohan and ask, “You’re going to be working most of the day today, I assume?"
“Yes,” he nods, “But I can spare some time in the morning.”
You could just faint.
Once again, you know full well there's no one else he'd be willing to spend extra time lounging about in the morning for other than you.
Sensing the joy his words send you, he tilts his head toward the counter. His eyebrows raising as if to say, ‘I’m not going to ask you again.’
A single night to adjust, and staying over at his place is everything you hoped for.
His hospitality... others may not think it, but Rohan is quite fair. He speaks to you directly, welcoming you to join him in whatever he’s doing if he isn’t burying himself in his work.
Most notably, he’ll want you to help him do any of his research. Or rather, he’d like to info dump while skimming through books in or outside the home.
It’s one of several ways he opens his mind to you.
He’ll make extra coffee for you in the morning, sure, but he’s also insistent on making you dinner- depending how sucked into working he gets.
If you take initiative and cook a meal for the both of you, he won’t let it happen again no matter how grateful he may be. You’re still his guest, after all. Better a host treats their guest (He wants to show off for you).
He’ll take you out with him during his non-work-related errands as well.
Rohan doesn’t explicitly tell you why, but it seems to make mundane tasks much easier for him to endure. He isn’t scowling the entire time if you’re there, at least.
All and all, he hopes this will become a habit as much as you do. Expressing that he likes having you there with him in his own special way.

Spider Themes: Phantom Troupe and fate (plus Chrollo character song analysis)

THIS is the moment that lead tons of fans to believe that Chrollo is a determinist,or at least a fatalist, believing that certain things cannot be avoided and that people lack the free will to act otherwise.
I haven’t seen any other proof of Chrollo being a determinist and I think it’s not that relevant to his character so this idea being so popular annoys me,and yet, there are lots of time where Chrollo is confronted with the idea of fate.
Why doesn’t he blame Judas?
There are multiple ideas
-his betrayal was bound to happen and he had no free will
-regardless of will, his actions were justified because it resulted in the greater goal being achieved(and Chrollo sees Jesus’ death as as important as his own death in a scenario where the Spiders have to chose.Chrollo would want them to sacrifice him for the Spider, and this scene hints at that)
-anyone willing to betray the organisation for money or fame was never a true member
-Chrollo doesn’t take anything personally and he doesn’t judge other people for their actions because he expects very little of them (we know this isn’t true for his Spiders, but it seems to be that way with Hisoka. He doesn’t blame Hisoka for being what he is)
This point is also illustrated in the flashback chapters where young Chrollo doesn’t get angry at his bullies even once. He’s not mad at Uvo,Phinks or Feitan,he outsmarts them or outruns them, but still sees them as part of his circle and never acts aggressively.
He doesn’t even appear to hate Kurapika or care much for his motives, since he accepted the fact that people will come after him for a multitude of reasons. He doesn’t care how good those reasons are.
The prophecy

Neon’s prophetic ability is meant to help people see the potential future,it’s not presented as being self fulfilling,in which case it would be a scam. The idea is that you can gain knowledge of your potential fate, and chose the course of action accordingly.
Chrollo trusts the ability since he uses it to make important decisions, like whether to stay in yorknew.
If he can use it to his advantage and cheat fate, how could he be a fatalist??
Our will above all else
The phantom troupe is incredibly strong as a group, yet they retain qualities of underdogs. They were born in the most marginalised community possible,in a place that doesn’t officially exist, and yet they’re now feared and infamous.
They won’t allow the world to take from them
They will impose their will on others.

Uvo’s requiem

I will never shut up about it.
It perfectly represents the nature of the Phantom Troupe and Chrollo’s philosophy.
We know Chrollo believes in souls, but does a man who sits in a broken Church and wears upside down crosses believe in any just god? There’s no way Chrollo isn’t a nihilist when it comes to ultimate justice. He expressed those doubts even as a child, and it seems that while he now thinks souls exist,he doesn’t rely on any afterlife.

He never relied on justice from above,he always took matters in his own hands. Believing in souls may mean that he sees death as a change of state, and sees murder as more forgivable since “everyone ends up in the same place anyways”but this is just speculation.
Only he can improve Uvo’s situation.
Uvogin’s soul soon will be gone, who knows where. Chrollo can’t change that,he doesn’t even know if Uvo hears him. But he will fulfil his wish. He will send other souls off in Uvo’s honour. He will show that his life and death mattered. It’s an attempt to reclaim agency, however futile it may be,it seems Chrollo wants to prove something to the universe.
People are the ones who sever ties

Doesn’t this run contrary to his ideas about traitors? It sounds here like he expects loyalty from those close to him. Or does he mean that he himself won’t forget things unless he cuts them off?
He can’t feel less responsible for the deaths of his friends and he can’t forget his place in the world, can’t detach himself from it.
Hi identity is still tied to external things. And it means all of the things he has lost, all of the humanity he has shed were deliberate sacrifices. Like he resigned himself to give up his life for his goals.
It’s very much a show of will.
The coin

It’s a practical way to resolve conflicts. While it’s thrown by a person, and the outcome can be random, therefore unbiased,it could also be them calling to fate to decide who gets his way.
“May happen what is meant to happen”
This leads to no conclusion, but it’s absolutely related to fate so I’ll mention it here.
1/13 analysis
I have no idea how canon this song is,but it’s a great interpretation of the information we have in canon. It touches on many themes crucial to Chrollo and his Troupe. I’m using the translation from the wiki,I don’t know Japanese and honestly I prefer the translation from the YouTube lyric video
youtube

This song mentions almost everything I’ve talked about in this post, and even more.
“..From the beginning”

They were doomed from the beginning. Even if they wanted something innocent and simple as dubbing anime, finding purpose in entertaining the masses.
First Chrollo rejects the notion of life, then he goes on to deny fate.
But he also approves them. “As if” The Troupe doesn’t act in accordance with reality and what it has in store for them, they act as if none of those things were real.
Life not existing means it’s meaningless and because of the horrible conditions Chrollo grew up in,he and the others were never given a chance of any life worth living. Life is real, but not for them. It’s something they deny themselves, something they abandon in favour of their duty and goal.
Fate might refer to both, inaction, staying anonymous nobodies, and doing something, surpassing themselves, and then dying a horrible death.
If there is a fate, can they know what it is?
Is Chrollo following his destiny,or acting in spite of it? If only he knew, haha. Maybe it’s not his choice to become a murder, maybe it was meant to be from the beginning. Or maybe he was meant to do nothing and be nothing, yet he refused.
”When we’ve obtained everything,we will disappear without a trace”
Went from actors to phantoms, got it? ;) This line brings in a sense of finality,of inevitability. So he knows they won’t live forever, that there is a limit. Sure,it could be referring to them being impossible to track, but I chose to believe there is more, since Chrollo touches on the possibility of them actually dying.
In that case, should they “separate and face eternity” the Spider’s Soul will live on. Or it must live on! Pretty spiritual, huh.
I love that while everything hints at his views being nihilistic,Chrollo’s spirituality is almost hopeful.
So is his song.It talks both to the enemy (you can’t run from us) and his fellow Spiders. He tells them to just steal,to consult the coin if needed,to trust that the Spider will live on and everything will be fine.
“What is there to fear?” I’m gonna cry,I swear.
This song also has this notion that whatever happens, happens.
“Que sera, sera” and shit. It shows acceptance of things that shouldn’t be accepted. Even his own feelings at the loss of his friends Chrollo acknowledges, and then ignores.
“Can’t be blamed.” He can’t blame himself for still feeling those things, but he just dismisses them. “You will want to sneeze at dust,it’s normal, but hold it in.” = “You will cry at deaths, feel grief and anger. Those reactions are normal, but don’t let it affect you”🗿🧍

What has pride to do with this? I’m genuinely confused. If this mf telling us to be humble? Is it prideful to expect no one to die? Or is this the typical “detach yourself from your feelings”?
Conclusion: Chrollo is seen as a fatalist because of his stoic attitude. The only way (according to HxH fans) to deal with what he goes through,is to tell himself it’s meant to be. I propose that no,he doesn’t think so. He thinks that regardless of fate,he can outsmart it and come out on top. Even if he loses people in the process,in the end it will be worth it. And even if he feels grief at their deaths, that’s just what happens. It didn’t stop him until now. All that just to steal? No,Ofc not. He just doesn’t know how to express his motives.
DO YOU EVEN HAVE CLEAR MOTIVES,CHROLLO? Your journey leads you to nowhere, and we don’t even know where it all went wrong

Timeless soulmates p.2
Hii guyss I hope you enjoy the fourth story of my Spooky Friday series, here's part 1. If you want to read the other ones you can find them on my masterlist :)
When a history student unearths a forgotten tale of forbidden love, she unknowingly releases a presence bound by time and longing, leading her into a darkly romantic mystery where the past may hold her heart captive forever.

The night air is thick with silence, the shadows from the old trees pooling around you both as Charles holds your gaze. His voice is deep, as though drawing from a memory that runs far deeper than mere words.
“We met in the strangest of ways,” he begins, his mouth curving into a bittersweet smile. “You had crept into my castle’s garden one night. You were stealing herbs, no doubt for one of the villagers, or perhaps your family. And I—” he hesitates, the memory flickering across his face. “I watched you from the shadows, planning to capture you for trespassing.”
You feel a shiver run down your spine, and he steps closer, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that’s both familiar and unknown. “But as I moved closer, something in me… changed. When I saw you, saw the way the moonlight touched your face, the look of defiance in your eyes as you searched through the night… I couldn’t do it. I’d planned to confront you, but I was captivated instead.”
You don’t know whether to pull away or lean in closer. The story he’s telling sounds impossible, yet something about it resonates with a strange ache inside you.
“I fell in love with you that night, without a word exchanged between us,” he continues softly, his gaze never leaving yours. “In the nights that followed, you returned again and again. Each time, I waited, and each time, I was helpless against this feeling that bound me to you.”
“The villagers warned you to stay away, to fear me, but I knew… I knew you were different. That night, in my garden, I saw it in your eyes—a courage unlike anything I’d ever known. And though I knew I should keep my distance, but I couldn’t.”
You feel a shiver run down your spine as he speaks, as though his words are casting a spell around you, one that’s pulling you deeper into his tale. “And that’s when you told me,” he says, his voice softening. “You told me you knew what I was. And that you loved me regardless.”
You draw in a breath, startled. “You… you’re saying I knew you were—”
“A vampire,” he finishes. “Yes. And though the village feared me, you loved me still. It was that love that bound us together.” His voice falters, as though the memory alone wounds him. “It was that love that would ultimately lead to our separation.”
He steps closer, his presence wrapping around you like a dark embrace. “That night, when they came for me, we fled together, disappearing into the forest. And in that quiet darkness, we made a promise—a bond of magic, forged in our blood and words. That no matter what happened, our love would keep us bound, through life or death. Nothing would tear us apart.”
Your heart pounds in your chest, his story drawing you in, each word stirring up something deep and aching inside you.
“But they found us.” His voice drops to a whisper, as though saying it louder would bring back the horrors of that night. “And they tore you from me… forever. They struck you down, and as I watched, they forced me into that crypt—condemned to an eternity without you.”
You take a shaky breath, barely able to process the weight of what he’s saying. And yet, looking at him, at the way he gazes at you with a desperate familiarity, you can’t shake the feeling that somehow… this story is true. It’s too strange, too powerful to be anything else.
“Now,” he says, his hand reaching out toward you, “you’ve returned to me, as we promised. Our bond brought you back, just as I knew it would. And I am free… to love you again. To keep you safe, this time.”
You take a step back, heart racing, confusion and wonder mixing together. “This can’t… it doesn’t seem real.”
But as you look at him—at his face, his eyes, his presence—everything in you whispers that he isn’t lying. You’ve felt it ever since you opened that crypt, a feeling that something was watching, waiting. And now, as he stands here, that feeling feels like it’s finally come home.
“What… what was my name?” you ask, almost afraid to know.
He smiles, the sadness slipping away, replaced with something tender. “Amélie,” he says, his voice soft, almost reverent. “You were my Amélie.”
The name rings through you like a bell, familiar and distant all at once. You don’t remember the life he’s describing, yet somehow, in his presence, you feel closer to it than ever before. And as he steps closer, a hand lifting to cup your cheek, the world around you seems to fade away, leaving just the two of you, bound by a promise made across centuries.
“Now that we’re together again,” he whispers, his thumb brushing gently over your skin, “nothing will separate us, my love. Not this time.”
And despite every rational thought, you find yourself leaning into his touch, part of you feeling as though you’ve been waiting for this moment for lifetimes.
Charles’s hand moves to cradle your face, his touch achingly gentle as he gazes at you, his eyes filled with a love so deep it feels like it’s carving its way into your soul. He leans in, and as his lips brush against yours, warmth spreads through you, soft and consuming. His kiss is slow, like he’s savoring every second, like he’s been waiting centuries for this one perfect moment.
As his lips press against yours, memories begin to break through in flashes, flooding your mind. You see yourself in that midnight garden, surrounded by moonlit flowers, his figure stepping out of the shadows. You feel the thrill of that first touch, the wonder as he looked at you with something close to reverence. His whispers of promises, the warmth of his embrace as you vowed to be together forever. The fear as you both ran through the dark woods, clutching each other in desperation.
And the grief—your last sight of him as they tore you away, his eyes filled with helpless horror.
The memories come crashing down, filling you with the weight of a love that survived death itself. You pull him closer, deepening the kiss as if trying to make up for all the lost years, for every stolen moment. His hand slides down to your waist, holding you firmly as if he’ll never let you go again.
When you finally pull back, breathless, tears are slipping down your cheeks, and he brushes them away with his thumb, his eyes bright with emotion.
“Amélie,” he whispers, the name like a vow on his lips. “You remember.”
You nod, feeling the weight of a thousand lifetimes, of a love that’s spanned centuries. “Yes, Charles. I remember everything.”
A smile, tender and triumphant, breaks across his face, and he pulls you close, pressing his forehead against yours. “We have a second chance,” he murmurs, his voice filled with awe. “Nothing will separate us now. We’re finally free to be together, just as we promised.”
You lean into his embrace, feeling like every piece of you has fallen into place, like the two halves of your soul have been joined again. And as you stand there, wrapped in his arms, you know that this is the end of a long, agonizing journey—and the beginning of the forever you’d both dreamed of.
With the stars overhead and the weight of eternity lifted, you smile up at him, your heart overflowing with joy. “Forever,” you whisper, and he smiles, kissing you once more.

Dandy’s World Survival AU
Hey I’ve posted this on TikTok but finally also publishing this here!
Backstory
After a devastating natural disaster hitting the area, the toons are now left with ruins of what was once their home. It’s been years since the show was cancelled leaving them all but abandoned here. They’ve managed to survive for now but with this new shake up in life, it’s starting to strain on all of them. Different views and ideas on how to survive now are clashing with each other which ultimately lead to groups of similar ideologies being formed. They all know they have to venture out sometime soon… Once they do it’s the environment and stress that begins to slowly turn each toon against each other.
Heavy imagery under the cut!

Divided in sections, each of the main three groups have claimed land to keep the order and establish peace. These areas are always changing though as groups need more and more to thrive. For now it’s stable but for how much longer? No one knows.
Group 1 - Green Bandanas
Bonded together on the idea of resources and growth, these toons decided on using whatever land they had left alongside existing resources to try and survive. They've used seeds to garden and found ways to hunt and gather. In the tall grass they learned to take advantage of and used trees to hide their base. It’s not the largest base but they're fortunate to have claimed nearby the water source. Don’t mistake their calmness for passiveness. These six sure know how to fight when needed. They’re currently hostile towards the Red Bands and alliances with the Blue Orbs. They've identified with the color green for green thumbs.
Group 2 - Blue Orbs
If it was fight or flight, this group chose freeze. Overwhelmed by the entire situation with a new outside world and arguments between friends, this group opted to stay together for comfort and to go with the flow. They are in close ties with the Green Bandanas. Unfortunately due to not having a solid idea on how to survive their section of land is small. They've been chased off by the Red Bands quite often. They do still have fight in them so don't think they're all whimps. They simply would prefer to not engage in a fight if it’s possible. They have a nice stable way of life, getting resources from the Green Bandanas and in return providing seeds they’ve found on their chunk of the land.
Blue is their chosen color in relation to calmness and perhaps everyone can see a blue sky once again...
Group 3 - Red Bands
In despair and needing to feel like they could handle the situation, this group bound together on the ideas of using all means necessary to survive. While not violent, they will steal and use aggression if needed. They would prefer not to but they can cause a deadly fight. The Red Bands have a majority of the natural resources aside from food which they feel gives them an upper hand. The forest is called home to keep them sheltered so the other groups can't find them. They've chased off the Blue Orbs to gain more land and have strong tensions with the Green Bandanas.
They decided on the red color as red commonly is associated with anger. Though perhaps it's also to remind them of warmth and love deep down...
Connie + Looey
These two were added after I finished all the others so here’s their own small category.
Others
Either wanting to run their own show or stay behind, a handful of toons opted to go on their own. Whether it was though not agreeing with the current stances or unwillingness to emerge from the ruins, these toons have their own separate reasons as to why they picked to be alone. Regardless, life is harder without a community of support and they often need to venture out to both mingle and find what they need to make it through.
They are not marked by any color.
Thank you for reading I know it’s a lot! I have detailed relationship charts I’ll also post later because the simplified ones do not do any of them justice enough haha. Eventually I’ll share the comic archive I’ve already posted to tiktok here too.

notes on kickoff ch.7
hellooo if you're here thank you for taking the interest! i just had some creative notes i wanted to get off my chest with the release of ch.7 lol i felt compelled to do so with this one i'm basically journaling here. you can read this after reading ch7 here!
I. on gojo's feelings
as for why didn't gojo just tell reader how he felt at the end of the chapter, and instead only says what he does. i think i rewrote this ending like five different times, he was never supposed to tell her at this point based on my story planning, but i did explore the idea of a dramatic confession here regardless, and it didn't fit for lots of different reasons for one, i think he's finally able to put himself in reader's shoes. it's true he's pretty dense and obviously has commitment issues/valid fears that keep him from opening up, but that still doesn't mean he hasn't hurt reader in a lot of different ways already. he realizes, whether intentionally or not, he's led her on and to do a complete turnaround within a few hours while she's already trying to process rejection as she is clearly withdrawn from him i believed would've been selfish on his part, and could possibly cause even more hurt over the fact that he could come off ingenuine. gojo is finally emotionally aware of her enough to recognize it, but he's not a perfect person so it still slips through that he's distraught at the thought of never seeing her again. in general i'm of the opinion that if someone asks for space, you respect that unless they say otherwise of note, just because he realizes that he has these feelings, doesn't necessary change his fears, as no single moment can undo years of trauma, so i think that's why he bites his tongue too. i'm not keen on making this a "woman fixes man" story but i moreso want to embrace the sentiment that you don't need to resolve every single bad thing that's ever happened to you in order to embrace love or happiness.
II. on gojo's commitment issues
i know it was brought up in the first gojo pov that he has issues committing to just one woman, but i wanted this chapter to reveal that it's really just his fear of opening up to people due to the still raw loss he feels of losing someone he loved. i aim with his pov to be more of a stream of his own consciousness rather than from an omniscient observer, which may explain the ambiguity. he's not sure if he's able to open up to a person in a way he knows is normal and healthy, so he settles on shallow connections instead. just wanted to clear this up, and say that it won't be any sort of plot point in which he struggles to be sincere or faithful when he seriously wants to commit to someone as he has no issues with that if he truly wants to be with them (unlike the whore he's been so far in the series lmao)
III. on strawberry vanilla soda
btw i've never had this flavor of soda i'm not even sure where i came up w it loool or if it even exists. i was kind of toying with the idea of gojo seeing reader's message on the can during the match, and that would maybe help him get more focused on the field (sooo sports romance cliche but i still love it haha) but i settled on him seeing it afterwards to kinda parallel the clumsiness he's had with reader so far. for some reason, the universe just doesn't want him to get his timing right with her lol
IV. on angst/conflict
i know ch7 was a bit differentttt less gojo x reader and more just gojo lmfao, it was also a bit angsty. it definitely won't stay angsty throughout the remaining chapters. this was just gojo's lore drop chapter LOL. there will still obviously be angst here and there, but i've got a lot of fun, cute, tense, silly, passionate, messy scenes still planned similar to ch5&6 because i prefer writing those kinds of scenes haha. ultimately this story was always meant to be a full-circle romance, so ch7 was to lay some of the emotional groundwork that gets brought up as the story builds to its climax
that's all i have to saayyy if you actually read this whole thing i love you?? lol. ch7 really emotionally resonated with me as i wrote it, both as someone who understands how gojo feels but also as someone who understands how reader feels, and if it resonated with you too then that makes me very happy and that's ultimately every writer's dream haha. was very cathartic to share these thoughts. i hope to see you in the next oneeee <3 have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hit with this earlier, so am sharing.
But the idea of Hope's Peak is that some people are just better than others. Whether they're born with Talent or fought hard for it or just happen to have it because they needed to survive, they are better than others. Specifically at this one thing they do. Whether or not that's all they'll ever be - regardless of whether or not they want that to be all they'll ever be - they are better than everyone else. And they're chosen to go to this special school because they're better.
The Reserve Course is throw us enough money, and we'll let you say that you're better, even though you're not. It's throw us money for the name and prestige. It's throw us money because everyone has bought into our school being better and having the people who are better. (Which gives the idea that when companies or teams or whatever are going through resumes, they're also specifically looking for HPA graduates.)
And Hope's Peak is all about how do we make the most Talented most bestest person possible to the point of human experimentation, where they rip apart everything that makes someone human - makes them themselves - just to make them the bestest human being ever.
And Junko starts the Tragedy by basically saying no, that's bullshit, treat everyone equally.
I mean, she says it in a lot of messed up ways, but that's what the Reserve Course riots are about. They're being used as cash cows for something they didn't agree to, they aren't being treated the same as the actual better than you people, and it's one of them who was taken and experimented on to be made the bestest person ever, not one of the better than you people, who is already better than you.
HPA has no concern for the value of an actual human life.
And Junko spits in their face because look, the best of your best, your actual student council, I can make them rip each other apart and look, your human experiment who is supposed to be the bestest person ever is just as bad as everyone else and no, look, they are just. like. everyone else.
So what does HPA do?
They don't learn their lesson.
They take the survivors of the attack on their academy for trying to pretend that some people are just better than others, and again, say you are better than everyone else, the only hope for humanity are you specialist special kids, so we will lock you and only you away, and not even think that other people could possibly stay in this honking huge building we have here, it's only for the specialist special people and they will make everything better once they get out!
Of course, Junko's going to throw a Killing Game with them.
They aren't better than everyone else.
That's the entire point.
They fall to the exact same problems that even your everyday normal person does: threat to loved ones, not wanting their secrets told, money, backstabbing - they are exactly the same as everyone else, and their Talent doesn't suddenly make them better people.
Fuck off with that some people are naturally better than others bullshit. You all suck.
Junko's the Ultimate Despair because she looks at the whole of humanity and sees that everyone is equally horrible (which is true).
Makoto's the Ultimate Hope because he looks at the whole of humanity and sees that everyone is equally able to change (which is also true).
#musings#danganronpa#junko enoshima#makoto naegi#i want to get into more of it with regards to#cultural stuff?#but i think that's beyond my scope#because it would be built on what little i understand of the culture#and i'm not#i do not have enough the knowledge on that one

i’d like you to know you’ve made me much more of a bitter deangirl when it comes to the trap. like i still love the idea of it, of them reconnecting in purgatory of all places, and i still like the idea of lots of what dean says re: should’ve asked cas to stay and i forgive you and talking *about* his anger, but… dean had a right to be angry, including at cas. and yeah it’s good that dean apologized, for the sake of healthy communication cause that’s what you do when you’ve said hurtful things in an argument regardless of who’s “right”, but cas also should’ve apologized again. in fact, i can’t remember so i could be completely misremembering, but does cas ever actually apologize to dean beyond expressing the sentiment of feeling bad that mary died?
and i’m also thinking about the conversation they have before being separated. i like the angst of cas’s line re: i left but you didn’t stop me, but again, dean was not the only one in that argument. to leave was very much cas’s choice, and it feels kinda unfair to put that on dean, regardless of whether dean saying smth would’ve actually gotten cas to stay (which, to dean, probably would’ve seemed unlikely given cas’s past habits). and also, cas saying dean couldn’t move on, that’s actually fucking heartbreaking and almost… cruel. iirc it’d been at most a couple weeks since his mom (his mom!) had been killed!! plus dean never got to say goodbye, again!! of course he couldn’t just move on!
idk idk… anyway i believe i’ve sent an ask about your opinions on the trap before lol, and sorry about this long ass message, but i recently saw a gifset about that conversation (before being attacked) and all the notes were like ‘yes cas you tell him!’ ‘dean needed to hear that!’ ‘finally got dean’s head out of his ass!’ and it kinda made me annoyed for dean which. brainrot. but whatever. bitter deangirls unite, dean deserves the support 😭😭
context
LMAO sorry for my tumblr arc culminating in me turning full bitter deangirl ig and taking some of you down with me (I'm not sorry actually I'm having a ball in this bitch).
Cas's attempts at apologies are cataloged here. So he does try to apologize. But how many times has Cas been "sorry" only to do the thing he apologized for again? I mean the fact that he keeps "apologizing" for lack of communication and unilateral decisions over things that impact other people besides him and secret deals that blow up in all of their faces over and over and over and over shows that he is... not actually that sorry? Because if you're actually sorry, you actually change your behavior. Except Cas thinks "getting a win" (while actively digging a deeper hole in his relationship with Dean) is the way to "apologize" and make everything better instead of just... changing his behavior. And whatever his latest big plan to fix everything is never works and instead actively makes his relationships and his own self esteem worse. From the outside perspective, what Cas is doing (apologizing then doing the thing he just apologized for again) is just kind of... the ultimate way of telling a person you claim to love that their feelings actually have very little value to you. I mean Cas would be horrified by the idea that he doesn't actually value Dean's feelings, but what conclusion is Dean supposed to come to? Is it any wonder that Dean is perpetually confused about what exactly Cas thinks of their relationship? Is it any wonder that he reached a point where he couldn't stand to hear one more of Cas's meaningless apologies? To maintain any semblance of a relationship with Cas, Dean has to focus on what he feels about Cas's intentions (intentions Dean has always had faith in being good) but that faith and care increasingly forces him to ignore aspects of their relationship that are deeply hurtful because Cas refuses to do his part in addressing their issues in any meaningful way. It's just a vicious cycle of Dean trying to communicate that their lack of communication is upsetting and Cas pretending to listen and apologizing but clearly not actually listening or understanding the gravity of the situation and how it is slowly building a rift between them over years (with perhaps the most striking and hurtful example being The Future) until the secret over soulless Jack becomes "the straw that broke the camel's back" and Dean absolutely explodes at the end of season 14... and then... still... Cas's secrets remain—to the bitter fucking end.
Also yeah tbh Cas's "I left but you didn't stop me" makes my eyes roll so hard. Painfully stupid dialogue with unpleasant (though likely unintentional) implications (as linked in thread above).

hii! id like to ask a nagito x fem! ultimate hope! reader, if thats ok??! thanks for the attention!! <3
♡ Nagito X Fem!! Ultimate Hope!! Reader: ♡
Thank you so much for requesting, Anon! I just LOVE writing for Nagito honestly. I’m not the most perfect at it, but something about his particular character makes it really fun to write for! I just did little headcanons if that’s okay! I wrote it assuming it was light-hearted, but if you wanted something more serious I can!!
That being said, I really hope you like it! Have a wonderful day, my love, and feel free to request again whenever!
~
♡ You really do live up to the title!!
♡ You’re so determined it’s incredible.
♡ Whatever you set your mind on, it will be done. You don’t quit, you don’t give up.
♡ Most of all, you encourage others to continue alongside your own journey.
♡ That inspired Nagito so very much.
♡ As the Ultimate Hope, there was no falsity in the fact that you had gone through some intense events within your life. Whatever the nature of these events, you always seemed to rise above them in some way, never letting it affect your hope.
♡ In fact, living through these events only seemed to strengthen your hope.
♡ You often felt a little silly being within Hope’s Peak. You didn’t see how your talent could compare to the rest of the student body.
♡ But when a certain Ultimate Lucky Student started gravitating towards you, you had to rethink that opinion.
♡ It was a little confusing at first, what with him suddenly seeming to devote himself entirely to you, but you came to find a friend in him.
♡ Slowly, you too had begun to devote yourself to him.
♡ Eventually, it became more than a friend you’d found.
♡ You made a point to compliment and praise Nagito whenever you could.
♡ Something about his bewildered reactions amused you, but they also do come from your heart.
♡ You knew Nagito held a rather…degrading view towards himself, and sometimes it could be incredibly difficult to break him out of it.
♡ While aware you could not magically change his self-view, you were determined to make him feel as loved as possible.
♡ And, needless to say, you did that wonderfully!
♡ It didn’t even have to be direct words of affection, once Nagito would be met with your smiling face and a sweet welcome; he’d be in a frenzy.
♡ He didn’t understand - he couldn’t understand - why him?!
♡ What he did understand, however, was that he was completely and utterly undeserving of you.
♡ You were everything he admired, everything he wanted to embody, everything good he craved in the world.
♡ You were so incredible, so determined, so very kind…
♡ And, you were devoting yourself to him. *Him*, of all people!!
♡ He couldn’t comprehend it; what were you doing?!
♡ Still, though, it was working.
♡ Slowly, but surely, he was becoming aware that you intended to stay, and that you genuinely loved him for who he was; flaws and all.
♡ He adored you, and made sure that the act of giving affection didn’t just fall upon you.
♡ Words of affirmation were an incredibly important part of your relationship, both from you to him and him to you.
♡ You were everything to him; there was nobody else he treasured more.
♡ He just couldn’t understand how he was the same to you.
♡ He sung your praises constantly, regardless as to whether or not you were around. The praise in question would be about literally anything; your talent, you as an individual, the outfit you chose to wear - you name it.
♡ He is very poetic in the way he talks about you.
♡ Cuddles are a definite must between the two of you. It took a while, with Nagito being hesitant under the belief of him tarring your perfection, but you slowly managed to get him comfortable with it.
♡ Nagito appreciates the verbal affection you give him, but something about the physical affection you give sends him spiralling.
♡ He won’t say it, but he ADORES it when you lean into him desperate to be held.
♡ He feels you wrap your arms around him, feels your head against him, and he’s a GONER. Any source of oxygen he previously had is gone.
♡ He himself doesn’t tend to initiate physical contact though. He still feels like he needs to keep a distance from you, for your own protection from his luck, but it’s not as if he doesn’t enjoy the contact you give him. He loves it, even.
♡ But then, at the same time, there are moments where Nagito has a weird surge in confidence.
♡ He’ll reach you first, keeping you close, before then apologising and reverting.
♡ It’s confusing, and you try to encourage him to just do what he wants.
♡ He’ll just a give a light hum at that.
♡ Nagito loves listening to stories about your life. It doesn’t matter if he’s heard them all, he will be listening again, and he loves it.
♡ He loves hearing about the event that made you become the Ultimate Hope, but he also loves hearing little things as well. Anything about you, anything at all, he’ll whole-heartedly listen.
♡ You two can often be found curled up reading books together. It can be your own individual tastes, or you’ll both have a copy of the same book.
♡ The silence isn’t awkward, it’s rather calming. Nagito appreciates that you can be in his company without needing much communication. It brings him some reassurance about the nature of his luck.
♡ Sometimes you’ll go to the river and read, which is always so lovely. The birds and the gentle gushing sounds of the water always bring such a charm to the activity.
♡ You have this selection of perfume and scented body scrubs that you rotate on a monthly basis and he ADORES IT.
♡ He just thinks it’s so precious how you find joy in pampering yourself, and the gorgeous scents are always welcomed.
♡ In fact, you’ve offered some of your stuff to him before, and he loves the designs of the products. He finds them so beautiful.
♡ Certain scents just remind him of you now.
♡ He’s a darling when you’re on your period.
♡ He’s a little hesitant, unsure of whether or not he’s being patronising, but he tries to envision himself in your situation and is just so great at making sure you’re comfortable; even if you know how to live with it.
♡ To him, you’re so very dear, and he wants you to be happy.
♡ That ties in to the physical affection once again. You’ve both shared kisses on a few occasions, and everytime he finds himself questioning why you, the Ultimate Hope herself, are willing to partake in such intimacy with him.
♡ He worries he’s going to do something wrong, or that his luck will play up, or that you’ll grow tired of him and leave, but…
♡ Once your lips meet his, his mind kind of clouds over.
♡ You’re so delicate as he holds you close, butterflies kicking his stomach from all angles, fingers gently caressing the ends of your hair.
♡ Even just little, quick, kisses are everything to him. When you kiss his hand, or peck his forehead, or even plant one upon his nose, he’s smitten every time.
♡ You’ve fallen asleep whilst with him a few times, and every time he always stops to gaze at you in awe.
♡ “So peaceful..” he’d whisper, breath hitching, a soft fuzziness in his chest, “So…perfect.”
♡ He just likes to watch.
♡ He’s fallen asleep as well, and sometimes awakens to you playing with his hair.
♡ You do that when he’s awake as well, gently brushing through it and just fluffing it around.
♡ He just adores and appreciates you whole-heartedly. You really are his hope, his light, and he would do anything for you.
♡ He would die for you, self-inflicted or not.
♡ But, just having you there with him will do.
♡ He likes that a lot.

DISCLAIMER!!!
The name Neo-smp is the name of my dream smp rewrite, there's a lot of changes I've made so here's my post clarifying everything!
So, to start off with the name. I called it The Neo Smp because I ultimately decided to exclude people from the original server and replaced them with new characters.
I did this for multiple reasons;
1. It didn't feel right to include people who've done pretty shitty things, regardless of how important they are to the story.
2. The character version has such little time to be fleshed out I decided to just wipe the board entirely
And 3. The lore wasn't rock solid to begin with, i decided to shift things to make it more clear and give each character a prominent role while keeping the main character... well, the main character.
This just covers a bit of it, but you get my point. Here's a list of the content creators from the dream smp I replaced in my project;
Dream -> Neo/Nico
This is the reason for the name, because I decided to cut Dream out of his own smp. I never liked him and a few others in this smp, even back when I was invested, and my gut feeling back then has been proven right time and time again. Genuinely speaking, I couldn't in good faith glorify this asshole even in my practice writings. So, I decided to fix up a new character as a placeholder. Nico is a dryad who gets possessed by a being named Neo.
I'll explain more about each character and my interpretations of them in separate character posts.
Sapnap -> Laverne & Salvador
This one is more complicated but there's a reason, I excluded sapnap due to his lack of character and overall substance. That and I don't like anyone from the original trio that escaped the depths of hell.
But with Sapnap, I was torn on two different interpretations of him. So I decided to split it and keep both characters. Laverne is a Ghast entity who plays a large role in Philza & Techno's lore and Salvador is a demon that's bbh took in.
Again, more character info in their respective posts
Georgenotfound -> Galiant/Galahad
Ya'll staring to see a pattern? Reason for George getting written out is because there wasn't even anything there to begin with. And I decided not to include George's name because of allegations. Whether true or not, I didn't feel comfortable writing the guy in any capacity. So it was better for me to write something new in his place.
Galiant is a human who's off to look for adventure and glory, wanting land and a title all to himself. He partners up with Salvador & Nico to make a land for themselves. Later on after big events happen, Galiant gets pushed out of a kingdom he stole and goes through a whole arc and gets his name changed to Galahad.
Wilbur -> Wallace Sullivan
Everyone knows by now what Wilbur did and I took it upon myself to not give this guy anymore attention than he already licks up off the ground of others.
Wallace Sullivan is a supposed human who lived with his dad for a while before deciding to go off and explore (and yes, philza stays his canon father). He ends up having a kid (fundy) and continues on till he's invited to occupy some land.
Eret -> Callus/Valentine
Imma be real, I dont remember why I excluded eret. There's notes that date back a bit with him still in the original writing, but in the newer ones, she's written out. I believe it's because I just decided to remake a whole new character as I don't remember any controversy she's been apart of, so tale that how you will.
Callus was the grandson of the fabled Herobrine and was an heir to the Netherrealm throne. Ultimately, He decided to experience the overworld for a few years before he took the responsibilities of a monarch. As they learn and grow as a character, She becomes Valentine.
Ranboo -> Viren/Vira and Renavine
Odd name, I don't remember much about this apart from wanting a whole revamp of ranboos character because I always felt like the writing was everywhere, and the lore for ranboo was forced.
Viren is an enderbeing with a harlequin kind of pattern. They don't know what they are or who they are apart from a note card in their suit pocket, a weird beanbag toy in their other pocket and a crown. They learn about their identity as they learn that the server they spawned in wasn't a random occurrence. Everything about their life was premeditated.
And finally,
Karl Jacob's -> Kaleido Copic
This is an occurrence where I decided to rename for the heck of it, and because I felt like the og name didn't fit right with the new backstory and lore I made.
Kaleido sleeps, and their body changes at any given second. They can go from a strange, colorful array of shapes to a human. When they come into the server, they dont know remember anything about themselves apart from a constant dream and mission. That they needed to clear the greywalk.
What that means and what it entails, they don't know.
And that's all the rewritten characters for now! These were characters who were made to fill the role.
If you're interested to know more, I'll share more of my work on this blog.

10 (Mostly) Spoiler-Free Reasons to Watch Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon 2003 Live Action
A countdown to the 20th anniversary of Act 1 air date!
Reason 5: The captivating story!
Ultimately, I would say the live-action stayed true to the essence and intention of the original source material when concerning the Dark Kingdom arc.
I’m choosing to use the word “essence” though, because it is also factual that in multiple aspects, the story does diverge from its source material, but with the intention of further amping up the stakes and angst for drama, and possibly even pulling in elements from story arcs beyond the manga’s Dark Kingdom arc into the one season we (sadly) only have.
Sometimes those differences could be due to limitations of CGI and execution methods in real-life filming, while others could be due to updating the content to appeal to the newer generations of viewers in the early 2000s.
Regardless of what's faithful or not faithful to original source material, I think PGSM did really well striking a balance of making it a kid’s show, and also adding some complexities to appeal to viewers who were kids or teenagers that grew up reading the manga or watching the '90s anime, who would be in their late teens or adulthood or even parenthood by the time the live-action aired.
Warning: Going forward these series of posts will contain minor spoilers to introduce some live-action only elements. It will only be at the introductory level though!
Staying true and delving deeper into source materials
Personally, I can’t speak much to the ’90s anime, but I can confirm the live-action pulls many elements from the manga source material where possible. Here are just a few:
Introducing the Sailor Senshi!
The story of how Usagi and Ami discovered their Senshi power largely follows the same story, while Rei and Makoto's intro episodes heavily reference the original manga chapter and use the same theme behind the attacks that lead to them accessing their transformation. There's no magic bus to whisk victims away in Rei's case, and there's no wedding dress ghost story in Makoto's, probably due to the feasibility of recreating those scenes.
The Forbidden Love & the Past Life lore
The live-action definitely deep-dived into the 'forbidden love' concept when it came to Usagi and Mamoru, and further created a whole complexity of the storyline to justify WHY it's forbidden. In the manga/anime, it felt like the idea of their forbidden love was purely political and mostly glossed over since the past life kingdoms were dead, but in the live-action, there were actual stakes and consequences to consider even for the present.

And the ABSOLUTE MOST AMAZING THING and by far my favourite twist to the live-action storyline is they actually ventured into exploring the impact of making teenagers soldiers of war! There is actually ample screen time and dialogues AND monologues dedicated for us to see individual Senshi AND the team together grappling with the pros and cons and exploring both extreme sides of the need to follow the past life mission to avert tragedy regardless of the sacrifices made, versus the necessity of making one's choice and finding ways to live in the present in spite of the past life lore! Do they support Usagi's and Mamoru's love for each other or not???? Do they know for sure whether their love WILL cause misfortune again or not or can they trust Usagi to know what she's doing????? FASCINATING AND ANGSTY STUFF RIGHT THERE!

Rei’s Personality
More as an FYI, but Rei’s personality is much more similar to the manga Rei’s personality, instead of ‘90s anime Rei. More cool beauty and calm, less aggressively hotheaded and abrasive. And very importantly, NOT boy-crazy.
New, original dramatic elements
On the other hand, here are some live-action exclusive dramatic elements that I'd like to highlight:
Aino Minako the idol
Even many who haven't watched the series would have heard about how Minako's character is drastically changed in the live-action. Indeed, Minako is an acclaimed teenage idol and singer with best-selling songs in the show!
It's basically as if the live-action screenwriter pulled in the Outer Senshi elements from the Mugen arc into Minako's character: she's famous, experienced, and serious. Minako has full access to past life knowledge and is ultimately mission-driven like Haruka and Michiru are in the Mugen arc, which causes some of her decisions to maybe not be as morally white as we'd expect her to be (I think her costume style of white and black is a nice nod to the idea of her double life and her sense of moral).
Now, that's not to say live-action Minako is completely a new character, you can certainly see manga/anime Minako's character traits here and there if you pay attention - pun-loving, prank-loving, mischievous. For god's sake, the girl named her album Venus, and one of her most iconic songs is called C'est La Vie, which sounds exactly like "Sailor V" pronounced in Japanese. Just imagine this girl playing a vigilante life, and having a chuckle every time she sings her best-selling song that basically announces her identity to the world and no one realizes. lmao
Basically, Minako's character embodies the extreme result of what happens if a teenager is burdened with all the knowledge of the Past Life war and has the weight on her shoulders while working alone.
If you can get past Minako's changed character setting in the live-action, you'll find there are still plenty of Dark Kingdom arc manga/anime Minako elements in there, just some more exaggerated while others are more subtle. (Coz to be fair, Minako didn't start becoming Usagi's twin until after the Dark Kingdom arc.) And her relationship with Artemis is absolutely heartwarming to see in the live-action.
Who's in the wrong? Who's an ally, and who's not?
While our Senshi team is clearly the heroine, and the Dark Kingdom the villains, the live-action takes a more interesting take on what's considered "good" versus "evil", and more importantly, who's in the wrong on how things ended badly in the past life. Who is actually the person the Senshi needs to protect the world from? And that drives the story into a direction that is more complex than what you'll ever find in manga or anime, and certain characters react accordingly and act more grey than black or white - from both the heroine side and the villain side!
Shitennou & Endymion
Something we didn't really get to see as much in the manga and anime, while we know who the Shitennou are, we don't really see the Shitennou and Mamoru interacting until after they... became their name-sake rocks (okay, technically, GEMS). And we don't get many hints on what their past live relationships were, so for many years fans have taken to pen/paper/tablets/keyboard and filled the gaps with their amazing imagination and creative work instead.
In the live-action, we get a much more expansive and interesting take in seeing the Shitennou - technically still under the Dark Kingdom's influence, interact with Mamoru as they all grapple with what happened in the past life.
How would the prince's ex-guardians act seeing their master again? How would Mamoru react? Choosing to accept his responsibility for his past life or not? After all, they had such fond memories of arm-wrestling each other! (Spoiler alert: Nephrite won.) :P
I must once again emphasize that I love what they did with the Shitennou's characters and gave each of them a different story trajectory. They are written so well they pull at your heartstrings!
If you want some canon-material for writing the Shitennou in the age of Elysion Kingdom, definitely give the live-action a go!
Power up! The Senshi Needs Training
Because the live-action only gets one arc, there's no room for us to see the Senshi team (conveniently) get upgraded transformation like they do in each arc in manga or anime. Instead, the live-action takes a different, and I dare say, a more realistic approach, where the Senshi learns that their initial access to their transformation isn't the full access to their powers as they expected. They are put through some legit, and some questionable training of the body, mind and spirit, and each of them has to overcome something within themselves across the series to access their power!
This approach highlights and solidifies each Senshi's strengths AND ties in really well into the girls' character development throughout the series. As well, it makes it feel like the Senshi did have to put in work to get strong and gain access to their power, instead of relying on the plot to get them new powers at the right opportune time, seemingly out of the blue.
Remember: THEY ARE IN SCHOOL!
Yep, sometimes in the manga and in the anime, it's so easy for us to forget that the Senshi are kids in school when they are in the thick of a crisis or fighting evil. Somehow, it always seems quite clean and convenient that the Senshi could separate their school life and their heroine life, doesn't it? How the responsible adults in the world may wonder... "Gosh, where did that kid go in the middle of [insert context]????" Or for a fellow peer in school to wonder - "How the hell did this random group of girls come together like an odd band?"
The live-action takes time to make room for some reality checks in their episodic storylines to explore all the different repercussions our heroine's double (or triple) life has on their normal life, and with that ties in personable and relevant topics and themes into their episodic plots:
Family relationship
Peer relationship
Romantic relationships
Moments that remind everyone how awkward and tough it is to be a teenager.
The toll of lying through your teeth to keep a secret, etc
I cannot emphasize enough that the screenwriting is superb in the series! Not one thing is referenced only once and left out the window, everything that happened builds up into a moment of learning or lasting impact for our characters!
To people who've not watched the live-action, PLEASE GIVE IT A CHANCE! At least give it 6 episodes, and you'll probably be hooked!
You can watch the subbed versions of the series at:

Sea of Serenity Fansubs
The series is also on other online streaming sites, but be cautious to only visit them with good adware and firewall installed.

Not The End Of Responsibility But The Beginning
Extracts from chuck mckeever's newsletter shared on Nov 5.
"Regardless of who gets to sit at the head of this country in which everything important is eroding and breaking down, regardless of whether you voted or didn’t vote or tried to do a secret third thing (vote for Kamala Harris anyway but hold your nose while you did it), today is not the end of responsibility. It is the beginning."
"As Peter Camejo told us in 1970, an organized, militant labor movement is the only real tool the people have for putting an end to the heinous crimes of American imperialism:
You see, if you walk into a store that’s selling refrigerators, there’s nobody in that store to stop you from wheeling out a refrigerator. How many guards do they have at the door? Probably zero. They have some salesman who walks up to you. It wouldn’t take much to get him out of the way. You could wheel out four or five of them. Now, the reason you don’t go wheeling refrigerators out of stores every day of the week is because there’s a certain power ensuring that that refrigerator stays inside the store unless they get money for it. There are things like the police, the courts, and jails behind it. But this power isn’t apparent when you look at the refrigerator and at the little salesman saying, “You’d better not take that.” In a similar way, when a union bureaucrat gets up at a rally and says, “You’d better stop the war,” it isn’t some helpless little guy on the street talking. There’s a lot of power behind that plea. …The ruling class can deal with any one individual or any small group; it’s only masses that can stand in their way. So the potential power of the working class to stop the war is a big threat."
"I worry that all this election day talk of “Voting Like a Radical” is ultimately just a way for people to give themselves permission to stop showing up. To not seek out other avenues of involvement, to not risk the possibility that their whole life might have to change when it is given over to something bigger and more difficult and more hopeful than what they could previously imagine.
I guess that’s all I’m asking. Let your whole life be changed."

If you recognize the movies/characters hiding behind the decoy titles, please do not give identifying details about them in the notes.
Villain n°1: Flintlock Gun
My family has had it rough. They were the high-profile targets of a terrorist for my mom’s whole childhood. Eventually they were able to stop the terrorist, but it affected my grandmother badly. She just wants what’s best for me, but she can be a little harsh. None of that mattered too much because I was happy with my life—I loved a boy so much, and he loved me back. We were going to be happy together, and my grandmother was going to be proud of me. Then a new terrorist came. This one pretended to be different, but she wasn’t. She drugged and tricked my boyfriend into thinking he was in love with her. He humiliated me in front of everyone. When the terrorist revealed herself, she continued pretending to be good, saying she had a change of heart. The boy said he really was in love with her, even after he knew that she had taken advantage of him. And now, they’re engaged to be married. My grandmother is so disappointed in me. I’m not like my parents—I couldn’t defeat this threat. Everything I thought was true was a lie. I guess evil is good. Everyone else seems to think so.
Villain n°2: Iced Tea
I had a really rough time after I found out my wife died. I'd been off fighting in a war, and didn't find out what happened until I came home, expecting to see her again and instead learning she'd died while I was away. I wound up isolating for a long time, staying at home while I mourned.
Eventually, I invited someone over as a guest and he inadvertently revealed my wife was actually alive! She just didn't remember me anymore, and seemed to have forgotten a lot of her prior life with me. I immediately sped off to go find her and win her over, romancing her while she slowly started to remember aspects of our life together. Things were going really well, except it turned out she was actually engaged to another guy. When the other guy got hurt really badly abroad, she broke up with me by letter and sped off to help him out.
I'll admit, I fucked up with what I did next: I got with my wife's best friend, who was also engaged to someone else. Not my greatest moment. But when I found my wife again, she ultimately forgave me, and the romance was back on. Until her fiance and his buddies tried to murder me in front of her, and I had to run off before they killed me.
I tried to go home to recover from my injuries, except my wife's fiance and his buddies chased after me. I had almost made it home when they caught up and stabbed me a bunch of times. My wife tried to stop them, but it was too late, and she wound up putting me out of my misery and ending me. I really fucking hope she doesn't go back to that lawyer guy
