When your mind starts speaking in Percy Jackson characters and it produces something actually funny (I know it starts like that old incorrect quote but bear with me):

P: *bursts in* Annabeth guess what!

A: oh hey what happened to “hello”, “how are you?”

P: hi, hello, Annabeth, guess what!

A: I’m all ears

P: the Babybel wrapper is indeed edible.

A: the fu- no it’s not.

G: *bursts in, out of breath* don’t tell him!

A: *starts laughing* oh I see

P: really, Grover? I didn’t expect that YOU of all people would lie to me about this

A: run me through the conversation, it must have been funny

G: so I was eating a Babybel, with the wrapping of course

A: makes sense, you’re a satyr

P: oh. Oh fuck.

G: and Percy thought that proved his point that the wrapping in indeed edible.

G: and it was so funny I didn’t want to break it to him

out of curiosity, did Ludovica and Vasco ended up having children? I know they probably wouldn't like the thought of it much, but I bet their parents would have at least ask again and again about when they're having kids.

They most likely ended up having offspring, initially to give in to their parents' relentless pressuring, but later found out they're both good with children. Right now I'm thinking they had twins, a girl and a boy, and both survived into adulthood.

My comic is so pretty...

The hiatus is letting me take a little extra time on these episodes, and I'm definitely putting it to good use!!!

#almost done with my 8th episode... which will give me. two weeks. of buffer...#id really like at LEAST a month... but to be more comfortable id like two #which means 2-6 more episodes before I come back!#I've got about 7 weeks so its possible. but i do still have to finish book 4 #so much to do ..........#I decided for my next comic im doing 3 updates a month.#having 10 days instead of 7 to make an episode is such a huge huge huge difference...#difference in quality and in my health!#anyways the comic is really pretty im really happy with the work im doing rn #the environments especially. im getting to spend a nice amount of time on them and theyre turning out so nicely #its nice to be able to write with a lot of different environments and not have to redo panels when I get to them cause of time #cause every time theres a wild angle? you need a new background...#so sometimes. often actually. there just isnt the time to make the backgrounds for those and i have to make them more flat...#which is fine. it doesnt really affect anything narratively. but. idk. it's kinda sad right?#anyways yeah! 10 days will be much better.#36 episodes a year is about what ive been uploading with my hiatuses on the weekly schedule anyways!#so might as well cut out that super stressful middleman and just commit to that #52 a year is just such a huge difference and i have to accept its not possible to me #i will hurt myself trying to do that. and i want to make comics my whole life!#so i cant push myself that hard now and sacrifice my future. we're gonna go slower after this...#anyways yeah cant wait to come back but also time. if I could get an extra week like a secret one just for me #where theres no chores no nothin just me and my work #thatd be great! so go ahead and do what you gotta do to give me a little pocket dimension #me: ugh i want to return right now...#the more logical me: NO we need the time to finish everything!!!!!! heeey they graphically updated the ARR world leaders with custom models (well. Nanamo has one too but she seems the same to my eyes and she seems like a normal lala when not wearing her full costume?)...

Aside from Raubahn and Merlwyb somehow being even hotter I have to shout out Kan-E's unicorn necklace's radical improvement :D

Aymeric, Lyse and Hien remained low poly at the Alliance meeting, as did poor HW-style Thancred, who just dramatically collapsed in order to travel the rift into graphical fidelity...

Also very funny that earlier Asahai showed up with the old graphics, but Maxima was already boasting full new skin textures despite having of course a way more custom model than the completely character creator ready Hyur next to him... This is the exact right time in the game's history to be in late Stormblood to enjoy the roll out.

#accidentally made the hrothgal on a preferred server so I'm desperately trying to make the most of road to 90 #back when I was young it was road to 70 and you could cap out every job in HW and not worry about it #now I'm 86 and 84 on 2 jobs 73 on all hand/land and feeling scared I'll run out of buff before I hit shadowbringers...#ffxiv #I also have a staggering lack of character stuff to SAY about Anatalya even though I think she's great #not much Bozjan character building that leaps out aside from Huge Cid Feelings at every turn #ANYWAY back to clicking through cutscenes so I can get another 10 levels of hand/land before hitting another wall #unless you actually use the MB to buy mats (which I am not desperate enough to do) you can't do any hand ins at level :<#and if I wanted to do more than GC ones I'd have to buy crafting gear as well since scrip is expansion locked #so no collectables because I'd have to buy well over even levelling gil amounts of gear and mats #aurghhhh #I only wanted crafter/gatherer to save money on repairs and melding on an alt on a server I didn't have Frog's fc to nepo baby her on #and thought road to 90 would make it easy :P

My thanks to everyone who commented on my post about getting a spinning wheel! I got a ashford traveller with a double drive which i love very much! Its second hand but that just makes it better! Here is a picture of my new (to me) spinning wheel and my “assistant”!

You meet your other sister-in-law very briefly.

She arrives unannounced in full Odonii garb and a long cloak for the cold, soaked through with rain. She's taller than most men, and carries herself like one too. Her hair spills out of her veil, not only unbraided but a horrendous mess. It's kind of fascinating. You catch a glimpse of a handgun slung across her back, hidden beneath her cloak. This is especially exciting; you’ve never seen one up close. You try to peek around her to get a better look at it, and flush in embarrassment when she catches you, shooting you a cold glare.

It doesn't seem like she speaks much without being spoken to, and you aren’t really the type to initiate conversations either. Livya fills in for the both of you, prompting your sister-in-law to introduce herself. Her name is Couya. You give her a respectful bow and curtsy, she gives a very slight bow back without looking you in the eye. She compliments your necklace. Or at least, she mumbles something while looking in the general direction of your necklace, and it might have been a compliment. You aren’t sure whether there’s something wrong with her or she’s just rude.

She's just her for filial duties at the family shrine, and she doesn't stay long. Livya stops her on her way out. She says she's disappointed that the one time in a year she can be bothered to come by, she shows up looking like a disheveled street-whore in priest's clothing. Look at Hibrides, she didn't even know we were having company and still did up her hair so nicely, and all by herself too. Thank God your father isn't here to see this, he's suffered enough embarrassment as it is-.

Couya stands in the doorway in silence through this whole speech. You thoroughly inspect a loose tile in the floor and try your best to pretend you aren't there. Livya doesn't take her hand off your shoulder the whole time.

[I've been writing an overview of Hibrides' first several years of marriage for the hell of it. It's just a summary but it's written with like, the slightest bit of prose, so figured I'd dump a section here]

#Not sure why I started writing this in 2nd person but it's stuck like that now #Livya was the most depressed housewife that has ever lived and deeply unwell. Neither of her daughters went through the #normal experiences she had to of marriage and moving away from home and having children and etc so when Janeys abandons Hibrides #in her home for about 3 years she kinda gloms onto her and treats her like another daughter. She projects on Hibrides HARD #because she reminds her of what she was like as a 15 year old bride. Sees Hibrides as having gotten fucked over with a terrible #husband (which isn't Wrong but its straight up significantly better than how her other options probably would've turned out)#and wants to toughen her up for what she sees as an inevitably dismal life ahead.#This isn't great for the newlywed child who just got moved away from everything she ever knew and abandoned with her #complete stranger of a mother in law.#And also finds herself in the 'golden child used to shame the other children' position frequently which is what's going on here #I might post the whole summary but this is like. The most grimdark part of Hibrides' entire life like its pretty damn rough.#Kind of by nature because it's about being a 15 y/o child bride (not considered a child in this society but like you know).#Also kinda of gives the wrong idea for what she's like later as an actual adult with substantially more agency in her situation.#hibrides uryashta #couya haidamane #livya haidamane
