i'm not trying to end my winning streak but- its sort of crazy that i've gotten tickets for every single bts tour that i've ever tried to get tickets too. like that is WILD, i don't think it's because i have good wifi or anything either it's like all good luck. i always go for nosebleeds every time but honestly- there is no bad seat in a bts concert so. i cannot belive my luck, i am truly so lucky

He’s A Protective Brother ~ Park Jimin

Whenever you went to the studio to visit Jimin and the boys he was always very aware, since you were born, he had always been incredibly protective of you, and the boys loved to take advantage of that. He had an arm around you, the other carried your bag as he took you up to the studio to reunite with all of the boys.

As usual, all of them walked over to greet you with a hug, it had been months since you’d seen them all after they’d been on tour, you’d been waiting for so long to finally see Jimin and catch up on all the things you’d missed.

“Just ignore them if they try and wind you up today,” he warned you as he let you go to greet them all, each of them squeezed you tightly, at times you were often like a sibling for them all too.

“How are you guys doing? It feels like it’s been so long.”

As always, Jimin’s eyes were watching them all closely as they spoke to you, before you’d arrived, he’d put them all under very strict orders to make sure they were on their best behaviour.

“I was thinking about taking Y/N out to that new restaurant down the road,” he told them all once you’d finally let them all go, “she always likes to explore when she comes to visit.”

“If you guys want to come, you’re all welcome to.”

Jimin’s eyes widened in horror that the boys all noticed, seeing how horrified he was by the idea, made it all the more appealing to them all. Hobi was the first to nod his head, one by one each of the boys did too accepting your invitation. Jimin glared across at you, you hadn’t realised what you’d done, but he certainly wasn’t pleased.

You walked back over to him, taking your bag from him, he had a tight grip on the handle, silently letting you know that he wasn’t happy about the boys being around.

“Don’t get all stroppy,” you whispered into his ear, “there’s plenty of time still for me to spend with you, the boys can come this once whilst I get settled.”

His eyes rolled, but he didn’t want to argue with you in front of the boys and let them tease him anymore. “It’s fine, I’m more than happy for them to come,” he lied.

“Tell your face that then,” you teased, tapping under his chin for his grin to grow.

“You should be happy Jimin, you’re sister is here to visit,” Jungkook called out, winking across at you, “honestly Y/N, if he’s going to miserable, we’re more than happy to take you out and leave him here to tantrum.”

“You’re not going anywhere.”

He sighed heavily, shaking his head at Jungkook, moving you back so you were stood by his side, you couldn’t help but smile at how protective he got whenever the boys were around you.

“Just ignore him,” you smiled, turning to face him, “he forgets I’m not a baby anymore and that I’m more than capable of looking after myself, you don’t need to protect me all the time.”

“I do around these idiots, you don’t know them like I do,” he reminded you, pointing individually to each of the six boys who all stood back with innocent smiles in their faces.

“You’re being ridiculous, they’re your friends, stop thinking so lowly of them.”

Jimin’s eyes rolled, grabbing his coat as the boys did the same, all hurrying behind you both to head down to the restaurant. “I’m going to end up killing one of you whilst Y/N’s here.”

“You’d never do that to us, we’re your best friends Chim.”

“Not right now until you leave my sister alone,” he sighed, turning to look at Namjoon who’s voice spoke, “you’re supposed to be the leader, setting an example for everyone.”

The boys walked a few paces ahead of you both as you walked down to the restaurant, your eyes were firmly on Jimin as you walked, trying to get him to look at you.

When you were little you loved how protective he was of you, no one would ever say anything or do anything to you because they knew that Jimin would get involved. But as you grew older and gained your independence, you liked to be able to do things more for yourself.

Being away from you for so long didn’t help the worry he often felt around you, as his eyes finally met yours. “You need to give all of them a break, they’re not doing anything wrong.”

The boys knew exactly how to wind him up and what buttons to push, it only highlighted how close the band was and how well the boys knew him, his protectiveness was an easy target for them.

“I know.”

You rested your hand over his, no matter how much the two of you grew, the strong bond you had together always remained. He only ever wanted the best for you, and you were always so proud of everything that he achieved.

“I’m sorry, I don’t want it to ruin the trip or anything like that, I just don’t like the boys all getting involved with you, you’re my sister, and not theirs.”

“They don’t want me to be their sister,” you argued with him.

His shoulders shrugged, “I don’t like them taking you away from me, I like having you with me all of the time, I want to make the most of this.”

“I’m here to see you,” you reminded him, “it’s nice to see the boys too, but you’re the reason why I’m here, we can spend so much time together I’m here for a week, you don’t need to worry about the boys being around us.”

“You promise that we can spend time together.”

“Of course,” you chuckled, “tomorrow maybe you could take me out to that new shop you were talking about, we can get lunch and really make the day of it. And you can tell me all the things you’ve been up to since I last got to see you, without anyone else being around.”

He nodded, as the corners of his mouth slowly turned up into a smile. At times he didn’t quite know how he got so lucky having a sister like you, you were kind, caring, and thought the world of everyone.

Even if the boys were trouble, you knew they only had good intentions, and of course, the priority of your visit was always going to be seeing your brother.

“Stop being so hard on all of them,” you told him, nodding towards them.

“I’ll go easy,” he giggled, “but if any of them step out of line they know that they’ll be a problem when you go back home.”

“See, there you go again,” you giggled, hitting against his arm lightly. “All of them know I’m your sister, and just like you, they want what’s best for me. None of them will step out of line, they just enjoy winding you up, like how I used to do when we were little, it’s an easy thing to do.”

“I’m not easy to wind up!” He challenged, but even he knew that he was lying to himself, “it doesn’t mean that everyone can hold it against me though.”

Your head shook, “no one’s holding anything against you Chim, I and the boys all adore you, and I love how protective you are of me.”

“Good, because nothing will change about that.”

“I would never expect it to.”

You hadn’t felt well in a few days and in the back of your mind you remembered the time where the condom broke while you and Jin were you know. At the time you weren’t worried because you have been taking birth control since you and Jin had began being intimate just in case something like that happened. “Y/N, it’s going to be okay. If you are pregnant Jin is going to be over the moon. I can tell that he really loves you. Even if this isn’t planned he is going to love you and your possible baby. Now suck it up and take these tests. Quit worrying before you are even sure that you are pregnant.”

She says.

You nod and take the bag out of her hand. There was a large bottle of water and two tests. You immediately take the water and start drinking as much as you could without feeling sick. You waited a few minutes until you felt that you needed to pee and took the tests and walked into the bathroom. You quickly took the test and placed the cap on it and walked back into the living room to wait the five minutes like the box had said.

“I’m so scared. I’m not ready for this.”

You say, chewing hard at your bottom lip.

“It’s going to be okay Jagiya.”

You gasped when you heard Jin’s voice.

“What are you doing here?!”

You ask, your head immediately turning to look at him.

“Y/B/F/N called me and told me what was going on. She knew that you would freak out if you were here with just her. So here I am and I just want you to know that whatever that tests says I’m going to be with you every step of the way. It takes two to make a baby and I will take full responsibility for everything. We have been dating for two years. A pregnancy scare or pregnancy is considered normal.”

He says, pulling you into his arms.

“I’m just so scared. What is your company going to think, the fans. What if they make you leave me? I can’t take care of a baby on my own.”

You say.

“You are everything to me and I’m not going to let anything like that happen. I swear.”

He says, resting his forehead on yours.

Your breath trembles when you hear the timer that you had set go off.

“Come on sweetheart. We will go and look at it together. Just remember either way I’m not going anywhere.”

He says.

You nod and he takes your hand and leads you to the bathroom. You take a deep breath and take the test into your shaky hands. You flip it over and gasped when the test clearly showed the word pregnant across the screen. Sobs immediately rack your body and Jin pulls you into his arms.

“Are you not happy? Everything is going to be okay.”

He whispers, rocking you back and forth.

“I’m just so overwhelmed. We are having our own little baby.”

You say, trying to smile through your tears.

He chuckles.

“Let’s get you cleaned up. Then we are call everyone and tell them the news.”

He says, grabbing a makeup wipe.

You nod and allow him to clean the runny mascara from your cheeks.

*Yoongi*

You had found out you were pregnant a few days before Yoongi went on tour. You talked to his managers and explained everything and they had congratulated you and asked you how you would like to tell him. You came up with the idea to surprise him on tour. During the army sing portion that they had you wanted to surprise him by having them spell it out and display it on the screens while they sang Just One Day. The managers agreed that it would be the best surprise that you could get. BTS doesn’t ever really know when army sing is going to happen because the managers like to surprise the boys. So here you are waiting in the front row. The armies attending had been told everything and they were super excited for the next big part of Yoongi’s life that was going to happen. You knew that your announcement would come right before their last song and their ending statements so you got settled in to enjoy the show. You were careful the entire time making sure that no one bumped into to harshly. The boys all looked confused when the lights dimmed a bit and the screens lit up with army sing. You smiled as the boys enjoyed hearing their fans sing their song. The last bit of the song is when everyone lifts up their sign including you. They read ‘Yoongi, Y/N is pregnant. You are going to be a dad’ while you were holding a poster with a blown up photo of the ultrasound. You could see him reading the signs before he fell to his knees and bowed. You gasped when you saw his shoulders shaking indicating that he was crying. The boys helped you on stage and you immediately wrapped your arms around his shaking form. He immediately pulled you into his arms.

“I’m really going to be an appa?”

He asks.

“Yes Min Yoongi. You are.”

You whisper.

“Thank you.”

He says, burying his face into your neck.

You could hear sniffles from the rest of the boys and you looked around and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. You smiled and wiped at your tears.

“I think you should thank everyone for helping me with this. Army has been the sweetest.”

You say.

He nods and you help pull him to his feet. Some of the staff had brought tissues out and he immediately pulls one from the box and tried to dry up some of his tears.

“Army!!! I’m going to be an appa! I’m so happy that you all helped my beautiful fiancé plan all of this.”

Everyone showed confused glances knowing that you weren’t actually engaged you Yoongi. That’s when Yoongi pulls something out of his pocket and drops down to one knee. You gasp and cover your mouth with your hand.

“You’ve given me a reason to live. You are my light, a shiny star in the darkness. You have given me everything. You have helped me through everything from the stress of work to that one time that I broke my ankle and had to be on crutches and I was whiny the entire time. Y/N will you marry me?”

You could hear everyone including the boys chanting for you to say yes. You giggled and nodded your head wildly. He grinned and stood up and slipped the beautiful diamond ring onto your finger. He picked you up and twirled you around. You couldn’t help but to laugh. The boys came over and handed Yoongi a glass of champagne.

“To Yoongi and Y/N, to their unborn child, and to the new era of BTS!”

Namjoon says into his microphone holding up his glass.

Everyone cheered as the lights dimmed on the stage and everything got ready for their last song of the night.

*Hoseok*

You had gotten a call from Namjoon. Hoseok has overworked himself and collapsed during practice. You had a doctors appointment but as soon as you got done there you were on the way to the hospital to see him. You had just found out that you were pregnant and you knew that telling him would be the only thing that would help him start to take better care of himself. You were worried about what the fans would think but overall you were over the moon. You were going to be having a baby with the love of your life. You scrambled to Hobi’s room as soon as the elevator doors opened. You walked inside and Hobi was now awake and talking and laughing with his fellow bandmates. You immediately rushed over and threw your arms around him.

“I was so scared!”

You whispered into his neck.

“Babe, I’m okay. I just overworked myself and didn’t give myself enough breaks in between practices. I was just a little dehydrated that’s all.”

He says, rubbing your arms when he saw the tears rushing down your  cheeks.

You nodded, and looked down at your fingers. It was now or never. All of the boys were in the room and their manager was as well. Might as well kill two birds with one stone. You took a deep breath and tucked some hair behind your ear.

“You can’t be worrying me like this anymore Hobi.”

You say.

“I know, I know. I just wanted to get things done today and I wasn’t thinking about anything else.”

He says.

“I’m serious Hobi. You can’t endanger your life anymore, we need you.”

You say, placing a hand on your belly.

He looks at you confused.

“What do you mean we? Did you adopt a puppy?”

He asks, clueless look on his features.

“No Hoseok, you are going to be an appa. You can’t do this kind of thing anymore.”

You say, lightly pressing his hand into your stomach.

You could hear gasps around the room and then Hobi’s sniffles.

“Hobi, don’t cry. It’s okay.”

You say, wiping his tears from his cheeks.

“I’m just so happy. Jagi, you have made me the happiest man in the world. My parents are going to be so happy. They are coming for the weekend, we should tell them then if you are ready.”

He says, pulling you down so that he would be able to cuddle you.

You looked around at all of the smiling faces that also had tears on the cheeks and smiled.

“Well, everyone else already knows and you know Jiminie can’t keep a secret for very long when it comes to things like this but I would prefer if you didn’t say anything for a while to the fans. I want me and Hobi to be able to announce it. The rest you guys can help plan. I just want this one thing all to ourselves if you don’t mind.”

You say, biting at your lip.

Namjoon immediately nods.

“Of course. This is your guys’ thing. You deserve the right to tell the world of your little sunshine.”

He says.

Everyone then immediately comes in to give a group hug.

*Namjoon*

Today you are at a filming of Run BTS, they were having a scavenger hunt. The boys would go around finding different items. You had just found out the you and Namjoon were expecting your first child together so you asked if you could do something during the show considering you had fertility problems and you were told that you would never be able to have a child and the news hit Namjoon pretty hard. The production team immediately agreed and you pulled out the things that you had prepared seeing as Namjoon didn’t know that you were here yet. You had a bib, a bottle, and a pacifier. They were going to shoot the intro that would be in another room while someone else hid the things and added them to the search list. You walked onto set and Namjoon smiled when he saw you. You gave him a smile and a small wave. You then stepped out of the way so that the filming could begin.

“So today we are going to be doing a scavenger hunt. It is going to be something really special but you guys won’t know just yet. The surprise is going to be revealed at the end of the show once everything is found. You guys can go ahead and grab the lists from the stack and then we will get started.”

The directer says, explaining the content for the show.

You smiled as you watched your love and best friend run around the building with cameramen following closely behind. You had one beside you.

“How are you feeling?”

They ask.

“I’m kind of nervous. I know that he will be happy, I’m just scared about everyone else’s responses. I hope that they are also happy though.”

You say, giving a smile.

The next hour was spent watching the boys try to find everything and now they were all back in the beginning area with all of the things that had collected.

“Okay so there is three things that aren’t quite like the rest. We want you guys to set them over to the side. Talk things out and try to figure out what they are and then the surprise will be revealed.”

The director says.

The boys immediately beginning talking and reasoning things out. You smiled as they set the objects to the side and confirmed their answers.

“Looks like you guys got all three items correct and I’m sure that you are all wondering why they were mixed in with everything.”

The boys all nod and agree. You gave a smile.

“Well, that’s where I happen to come in.”

You say, walking in front of the camera.

The boys look at you funny before you took off your sweater and showed your shirt that read ‘baby Joonie September 2020′ (you are three months with a boy). All of the boys gasped and all ran over to hug you but Namjoon who was still in shock. You could see the unshed tears on his waterline. You pulled away from hugging the boys and rushed over to his side and pulled him into a hug. You could feel the tears falling onto your shoulder.

“Is this real?”

He asks.

“Yes.”

You pulled out the sonogram photo and handed it to him.

“It’s a boy?”

He asks, bottom lip quivering.

“Yep. He should be here healthy and happy in September. The doctors said that everything looked perfectly normal. He’s a little miracle even if he wasn’t planned.”

You say.

“I love you, thank you.”

He whispers, face buried back into your shoulder.

*Jimin*

You had decided to surprise the boys while they were on their trip for Bon Voyage part 4. You were happy because not only did you get to see your boyfriend but you had also found out that you were pregnant. You were two months along lining up perfectly to the time that the condom broke while you two were having sex after you got back from your week long business trip. You were on birth control because sometimes Jimin forgets but apparently that didn’t work for you. You were happy because being in a relationship with him for three years, you two had talked about having children one day. That time is now even if it wasn’t planned. You had gotten a flight out a day after they did and now you were going to the campsite that they had set up at. You were feeling a little nauseous due to the bumps but they would stop every once and a while and give you some sprite so that you stomach would settle. You had opted to wear one of Jimin’s baggy hoodies and a pair of leggings because you were just starting to show and you didn’t want to ruin the surprise. You finally made it to the camp site and the boys were gathered around a fire. They looked up in confusion at the incoming car. You got out and Jimin immediately rushed to your side.

“Jagiya what are you doing here? I thought you had to work”

He asks, excited.

“I decided to take some time off and come and visit you guys. Work hasn’t been busy lately so it worked out.”

You say, playing it off.

“Well, come sit by the fire and get warmed up. Yoongi hyung is making some sort of wine that he wants everyone to try so you are just in time.”

He says, pulling you over to the campfire.

Everyone gives you a smile and a tight hug before Jimin gets impatient and pulls you down into his lap. Soon the wine that Yoongi was making was finished and he tries to hand you a cup. You shake your head and give it to Jimin instead.

“Do you not want any Jagi?”

He asks.

“I got carsick a little earlier and I don’t want to reupset my tummy.”

You say.

His face turns to one of concern.

“Are you sick? You usually never get carsick.”

He says.

“Well, there’s also another reason that I took some time off work.”

You say.

He looks even more concerned.

“Is it something bad?”

He asks.

You shake you head and give him a smile.

“I’m pregnant Jiminie.”

You say.

You could feel all of the boys staring at you by now. You could also see the tears in Jimin’s waterline.

“Really?”

He asks.

You nod and pull the end of his hoodie that you were wearing up. You had decided to wear a form fitting top. He gasped when he saw the small curve that he formed. He immediately placed his hand on it and gently rubbed.

“Wow. I really can’t seem to find any words right now. Our little munchkin is in there. How far along are you?”

He asks.

“Two months.”

You say, smiling.

He looked like he was going to ask a question but stopped himself, the tips of his ears turning red. You giggled and pressed a kiss to his forehead. In the distance you could see the cameracrew filming. You smiled knowing that you would be able to look back on this day forever.

*Taehyung*

 It was officially Christmas time in Korea. The boys had some time off this year and you and Taehyung were spending it with his parents. Now the both of you were helping his younger siblings decorate the Christmas tree. You smiled as you watched how good he was with his younger siblings. This time next year you would have your own little angel to be with. You hadn’t told Taehyung that he would be a father yet. You were waiting until Christmas. You had gotten some baby socks and placed the sonogram picture in a box and wrapped it. You were excited to see his expression. You knew that he would be happy. You had been dating for three and a half years and he was talking about children after your one year anniversary. 

“You okay Y/N?”

His mom asks, placing a hand on your shoulder.

You give her a smile.

“Yeah. I just can’t help but notice how much he loves them. It’s cute.”

You say, immediately missing your own family.

She smiles.

“He’s really good with family. He always has been.”

She says.

The days pasted quickly and it was finally Christmas. You watched as the presents got passed out. You decided to wait to give Taehyung his last present until everyone was finished opening other presents. Everyone had gotten quieted down and the younger were looking at their presents.

“I have one last present for Taehyung. I wanted to wait and give it last.”

You say, taking the box from behind your back.

You hand it to him and give him a smile. He opens it and once he sees the little socks and the sonogram his face crumpled and he threw his arms around you holding you tightly. His parents were asking what was wrong and trying to see what was going on when he pulled away and held up the small socks and the sonogram. They gasped and pulled the both of you into a hug.

“Congratulations you two.”

His dad says, giving you both a pat on the back.

“Thank you dad. I’m so happy.”

Taehyung says, a grin lighting up his face.

“I love you two so much. I know that you two are meant to be. I just can’t believe that I get to have a grandchild by this time next year.”

His mother says.

“We actually have about five months now. I’m actually due in May.”

You say, smiling.

“Jagiya! But how?! How have you hid it this long?”

He asks, pouting.

“I mean, you’ve been busy and when we are at home I wear baggy tshirts. I only found out about a month ago and I wanted to wait to tell you.”

You say.

“Do you have a bump yet?”

He asks, excited.

You giggled and raised up on your knees and pulled the shirt that you were wearing tight against your belly. He exclaimed in excitement when he saw the curve of it. He placed his hands on it. The both of you gasped when you felt a push against your skin. 

“Did the baby just kick?”

He asks.

“Yeah. I guess they want you to know they are actually here.”

You giggle.

He pulls you into a kiss despite his family being in the room. You could hear his siblings ewing. You pulled away and cuddled into his side, a hand on your bump.

*Jeongguk*

Jeongguk was at the Melon Music Awards when he got a call from your best friend. He looked at his phone confused before he excused himself from the group and went out to the hallway to answer the call.

“Jeongguk?”

He hears your best friend’s voice.

“What’s wrong Y/B/F/N?”

He asks, hearing her sobs over the phone.

“Me and Y/N were going shopping at the mall and we got into a car accident. Someone ran a redlight and hit her side of the car. I only have a few scratches but Y/N got banged up pretty bad. They won’t tell me anything or let me back to see her because my name is not on the list.”

She says, getting hysterical.

“Y/B/F/N take a deep breath for me. I’m going to go and talk to the boys and then I will be there as soon as I can.”

Jeongguk knew that he had to be collected while on the phone with your best friend so that he didn’t freak her out more than she already was. He jogged back into the arena and pulls Namjoon to the side.

“Y/N got into a car wreck with Y/B/F/N it’s pretty bad. They won’t tell her anything because she’s not on the list of emergency contacts. I need to get down there and try to get everything figured out.”

He says, lower lip trembling.

Namjoon’s face contorted to that of concern. Namjoon could see the panic rising in the younger’s face.

“Yoongi, can you take Jeongguk down to the hospital. Y/N and Y/B/F/N got into an accident and I don’t want him going alone. I will get everything taken care of here. You guys get down there and see what is going on.”

Yoongi’s eyes widened and he got the keys from their staff. He placed a hand on Jeongguk’s shoulder and quietly lead him back to the van. He could feel his shoulders shaking as he silently sobbed. Turmoil was all in Yoongi’s stomach. You are his best friend and you had just called him yesterday overjoyed to find out that you were pregnant. You were waiting to tell Jeongguk. He couldn’t help but to pray that the baby was okay. You would be devastated if something happened. Yoongi drove as quick as he could to the hospital. They went to the front desk.

“Please tell me where Y/N Y/L/N’s room is.”

Jeongguk says, smacking his hands on the counter.

They tell him the room and he sprints down the hall, Yoongi running behind him. Y/B/F/N threw herself into Yoongi’s arms as Jeongguk rushed into your room. He let’s out a breath of relief when he sees the doctor there.

“Are you the boyfriend?”

He asks.

Jeongguk nods his head.

“What’s wrong?”

He asks, lip trembling.

“She’s stable. We had to give her a light sedative to put her to sleep. We had to give her some pretty intense medicine to stop the bleeding to try to save the baby-”

“Wait, baby?”

Jeongguk says, cutting him off.

“Yes. Ms. Y/L/N is about five weeks pregnant. The baby is fine though. In fact, Y/N should be waking up anytime now.”

He says, patting Jeongguk on his back before walking out. 

Jeongguk felt his legs give out and he landed in the chair beside your bed. He was going to be a father.

“Mm, mm, fuck,” Jungkook drawls as he writhes underneath you. Smirking, you take another small cube of ice out of the cup on the nightstand and run around it the perimeter of his areola. 

“Feels good baby?” You question and he exhales harshly before nodding.

“Really good,” he confirms. You nod and switch the cube over to his other nipple, giving it the same treatment until it melts onto his skin. Once all that’s left is small droplets of water, you bend down and use your tongue to swipe them all up. Trailing your way to his nipple, you allow your lips to close around the small nub, sucking harshly.

“W-wait,” Jungkook gasps as his back arches off the bed from your ministrations. 

“What is it baby?” You murmur, not even bothering to take your mouth off of his nipple. Already knowing what he’s going to say, you decide to make it harder on him by bringing one of your hands up and using it to pinch his other nipple.

“S-sensitive,” he whimpers, making you smile. Taking your mouth away from him, you replace it with your other hand so that both of them are tweaking and twisting at his nipples.

“I know baby,” you whisper. “But you’re taking it so well. Is that because you like me touching you like this, or do you want me to stop?”

“Mm, no,” he shakes his head enthusiastically, making you giggle at him. “Please don’t stop.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it baby,” you assure him.

"Ok, care to explain whatever the hell that was?" Yoongi shut the door to the practice room once the boys were inside and crossed his arms over his chest. They all stopped and gathered in a circle around me.

"What?"

"Oh, you know. You. Giving Y/n the stare down of a lifetime at nine in the morning.

"Oh." I rubbed the back of my neck keeping my eyes on the ground. It's not that I was afraid of making eye contact with them, I just didn't feel like seeing the judgment when I didn't even know what it meant for myself. "That."

"Mmm. That. What exactly is that?" Shifting on my feet, I glanced up to see Namjoon giving me a look of pity. Before I could answer Yoongi, he spoke.

"Listen, Jungkook-ah. I don't know what you're thinking and even less what you're feeling, but I think you should be careful. I know you've heard it a thousand times, but there's a lot at stake here. If there were to be some sort of scandal--"

"Ok, woah. Wait. Who said anything about a scandal? I just met her and I think she's interesting, it didn't mean anything. Besides, aren't you the one who keeps telling us we need to get to know them? That's all I'm trying to do."

"There's a difference between getting to know someone and being creepy," Hobi giggled.

Sighing, I went to sit in my chair while we waited for the stylists. Namjoon followed and put his hands on my shoulders. "I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong. We just want you to be careful, no matter what happens. You know how people get when we interact with women, let alone any other artists."

"Yeah, I know. And I do understand what you're saying, I just don't think I should be getting lectured when nothing happened." Yet.

"You're right, Jungkook. I trust you and we won't bring it up again."

Taehyung snickered from his chair. "Yes you will, Joonie."

After finishing with my stylist I headed for the conference room to help set up.

"Oh hey, Busan." Y/n. She was sitting on a couch placed in the middle of the room where we would film the tour announcement. I took a deep breath and stepped into the room.

"What?" I laughed. "Busan?"

"I just gave you a nickname. Do you like it? I'm sure I could come up with something more creative soon. That was just the first thing that came to mind."

I sat down a couple of seats away from her. "I think I prefer what you called me last night. No one really calls me that." Ok, good. Off to a great start.

"What was that again?"

"Gguk. I like that." She smiled, nodding her head and making me curl my toes in my shoes. She could still make me feel nervous so easily. I cleared my throat and continued, "So gold, huh?"

"Hey, don't get a big head about it. I picked it first."

I squinted my eyes at her, turning my head slightly to signal my doubt. "I've been called the golden maknae for five years."

"Which makes you 15, then. I've been obsessed with gold since I was twelve years old, bud. You've got nothing on me." I snorted. This is going to be fun.

"Oh, so you're feisty now? I would've thought the competition would wait until we started filming for Run."

"But that wouldn't be any fun. Besides, you should get to know who I am now before I beat you at your own games."

Normally anybody talking that much game would spark something in me; a need to be better than them. The only thing I felt right now was a longing to be nearer to her. The games didn't matter if I couldn't know her. "I do want to know you."

Keeping my eyes on her, I watched for any sign of reaction; anything that would show me she was interested. Her lips parted while she breathed in and looked away, in need of a moment to collect herself before returning, "What do you want to know." Now she was the one being flustered.

Before I got the chance to answer, the crew came in followed by the whole of the members. "Maybe later," I whispered to her.

"Alright," PD entered. "Let's get to work."

The twelve of us sat together on a long couch waving at the camera as it clicked off. "Great job, everyone!" PD exclaimed with a clap of his hands. "We'll take this to editing right away. It should be posted by tonight."

I slumped back in my seat throwing my arms up to stretch. "That took forever to film," Yoongi said with a yawn. "I think it's time for a nap."

Hayden chuckled, "It's one in the afternoon."

"Which means we've been filming for two and a half hours. Break time."

PD laughed his big belly laugh. "Take your break, Yoongi. All of you. You've got the rest of the day off. I highly recommend you make use of it because once Run starts tomorrow, time off will be scarce, and it will only get busier from there." We all shared our thanks and he left with the crew to have the clips edited.

"Well, see you guys at dinner." Yoongi stood up and gave us a two-fingered salute. 

“Yeah, me too,” said Maya. “This jetlag is killing me. Waking up this morning was awful.” 

“Um, excuse me. At least you didn’t have your only source of heat ripped away from you,” Y/n scoffed. 

“I was hungry, and it worked, didn’t it?” 

Everyone else seemed to have a reason to leave and followed. My eyes followed Y/n as she rose from the couch. 

“What are your plans? I asked her. She pouted her lips, tilting her head to the side in thought. 

“I’m not sure. I might want to go wander around the city for a bit. Just to see what there is. You?”

I stood up and brushed my hands against my jeans before looking up at her. “I think I’ll join you.”

“You really didn’t have to come, Gguk,” Y/n said, tugging on her hoodie. 

I smiled at the sound of my new nickname falling from her lips. “It’s okay. To be honest, I don’t really get out of the dorms much. It’ll be good for me.”

“Ok, so where should we go first?” She pulled her arms up into the sleeves of her sweatshirt to make a set of sweater paws and pressed the button on the crosswalk. Adorable. 

“I don’t know, wherever you want. I’m just here to make sure you don’t get lost.”

“Are you assuming that I would?”

“Do you know where you’re going?”

“No, but that’s not the point. I’d figure it out,” she huffed. The light turned green and we crossed the street that passes the BigHit. “I guess we can just keep walking for a while.”

“Oh yeah, you know - just make a few turns here and there til were good and lost,” I smirked when she stopped to shoot me a glare from over her shoulder.

“You have no confidence in my skills.”

We continued to make our way down the avenue. “And what are said skills?” I asked.

“I can remember the street names. And I have my phone.”

“Your phone is not a skill.”

“Ok Mr. I never leave the dorms, how would you make it back without GPS?” I opened my mouth to answer only to close it again in defeat. She nodded her head in satisfaction, making me chuckle. “Come on," she grabbed my wrist and pulled me along behind her. Her hand, though soft on my skin, felt almost explosive. I swear I could visibly see the sparks of electricity emerging from the tips of her fingers. "Let's see if there's anywhere to eat." Stumbling on my feet behind her, I followed until we came across a small coffee shop. Just in time, as it had begun to rain.

"Hello," one of the baristas welcomed us. We ordered a couple of drinks and found a small table in the back corner to avoid being noticed.

"You like it strong, huh?" I nodded towards the large espresso she was sipping on. I took note of the way her feet swung underneath the table, just barely missing the floor. There was a substantial size difference between us; height and weight. I couldn't help but think of how easy it would be to pick her up and carry her around, or how perfectly her head would fit in the crook of my neck. I was so invested in my daydreams that I almost missed her answer.

"Depends on the day. I like sugary drinks too, but I really need an extra boost today. I'm so jetlagged."

"Is that gonna be your excuse for everything?"

"It might be! It was a fourteen-hour flight at 3 in the morning and we got here in the afternoon. My head feels like it's spinning and I don't think it's gonna stop."

I hummed my response and watched her face while she drank. I wanted to take in as much about her as I could. Her baby pink lips, the rosy dust that covered her cheeks, the deep color of her eyes. Everything. I don't know very many girls, but something about this particular one went way beyond beautiful. Maybe it was a connection through music or the fact that we could speak the same language. How can one person have such a strong effect on another?

We continued with small talk until we both finished our drinks and were ready to head back to the dorms. Approaching the door of the shop, we realized how heavy the rainfall had become. "There's no way we can make it back in this. I can't even see across the street."

"That's okay, we can just sit until it passes. Storms here usually go by pretty quickly." Sitting down again, I noticed a black shape on her wrist that I hadn't seen until she rolled up her sleeves. "What's that?"

She looked to where my eyes had been trained. "Oh." Turning her wrist towards me, I got a better look at the shape. "It's a star. I got it tattooed when I was 17."

"What's it for?"

"I think the sky is fascinating. I really like the stars - all those cheesy quotes about how nebulas have to blow up before they really shine. It's like a symbol for my story."

"I like that. That's cool. I've always wanted a tattoo, but I never had anything that important that I wanted on my skin permanently."

"I like to think that they can tell us stories. What a person has been through, the things they enjoy, what means the most to them. Someday, I want to have my story written somewhere important, whether it's a history book or just my body. It doesn't matter.

Watching her talk about her hopes and what she wanted out of life mad me ecstatic. Her eyes lit up and I could see the glimmer inside them. I wanted to keep that light. It was comforting and made me feel like I could do anything. I knew that I didn't know her well enough to tell her these things, but I wanted to so badly.

We talked for what seemed like an eternity, listening to the rain pour. She told me about her family; how close her and her siblings were. We talked about what our school years were like, and she laughed at my stories of randomly filling in test bubbles and dashing out of the classroom. She told me about her friends back home, her pets, how she and the others formed a band. I listened to her talk about her struggles, and she listened to mine. Never in my life had I felt so comfortable with someone so soon. I told her everything I could think of as a new topic sprang up, and I listened carefully to every detail she mentioned about herself. I studied her face every time she spoke about something she loved dearly. Her eyes were so radiant and bright. Have you ever seen someone talk about what's most important to them? It's exhilarating. We talked so long, I didn't notice the rain had stopped completely and the sun had set. It was one of those perfect conversations that carry on forever; you never stop to notice the world around you.

As I laid in bed that night, my thoughts raced back and forth until they finally reached a conclusion - a kind of understanding of these strange feelings I'd been having. Something was fueling my competitive nature. I had an innate desire burning inside my stomach that I was otherwise unfamiliar. It was like a game; a new challenge to win. I had to have her.

I rolled over to my side, pulling the blankets up to my shoulders. Filming for Run would begin tomorrow, which could only mean more quality time with Y/n. Oh, this is gonna be fun.

Double Trouble: Part One

Summary: Two new hot boys arrive at your boarding school. When you are chosen to be their guide/buddy you didn’t think they would turn out to be this hot! Will you- the school’s most prized student- be able to behave yourself?

Pairings: Jimin x Reader, Yoongi x Reader, Yoonmin x Reader

A/N: Yes I know what you’re thinking; ‘another Yoonmin fic?!’ You’re absolutely right my dears, I can’t help myself with these two. I have made Jin, Joon and Tae brothers and some of the guy’s ages are different in order to fit the story better. (gifs are not mine)

Summer is finally over and the new school year at Redwood Academy is about to begin in a few days time. It is almost as if you never left in the first place, your dorm is exactly how you left it. All you needed was your clothes and other belongings from home. You can’t wait for the new term to start, unlike most people. School is very important to you and the next two years will be the most important. You’re a senior now. It is up to you to set the standards for the years below. Your friend Seokjin became a senior last year all on his own, as he is the oldest of your friend group. This year his brother Namjoon and your friend Hoseok will become seniors alongside you. The youngest of the Kim brothers, Taehyung is in the year below with his friend Jungkook. 

This year, you will be welcoming two new students to the Academy. You are quite excited to introduce them to the school. All you know so far is their names; Min Yoongi and Park Jimin. Very few volunteered to be the newcomer's buddy, so you were picked by the principle. They won’t arrive until the first day back otherwise you would be meeting them today. 

As you are getting things organised in your dorm, there’s a knock on the door. You weren’t expecting anyone, who could it possibly be? You open the door slowly only to reveal that it is Hoseok waiting on the other side. 

“Hobi!” You practically jump on him, hugging him tight like a koala. 

“It’s good to see you too, y/n!” He hugs you back just as tight. 

It has been a while since you last saw your best friend as you both went home for the summer. You haven’t seen Seokjin or Namjoon either but they won’t arrive until Sunday. Another day won’t kill you, plus, you have Hoseok here. Of course, he is smiling brightly as always. His smile is so contagious. You have missed him so much. 

Even though you stayed in contact during the holidays the two of you just sit on your bed talking away quite contently. Hoseok is happy to be back too but he will miss his family. You will miss yours too, you always do. It is always the same at the start of the school year but it does get better. Everyone is too focused on their work to think about home. 

“You looking forward to meeting the new guys?” Hoseok changes the subject of the conversation, not wanting to feel homesick already. 

“Yeah, it’ll be fun.” You answer hopefully. “I wonder what they will be like.” 

“I bet you’re hoping they are cute, huh?” He playfully nudges you with his elbow. 

“Oh shut up!” You hit him on the shoulder with a pillow. “I’ve no time to fool around with boys.” You quickly remind him even though he has heard it all before. 

“I will make sure you have fun this year.” A cheeky grin appears on his face.

You have always had a small group of friends here at Redwood, to be perfectly honest, that’s how you prefer it to be. Sure, it would be nice to be popular but you would rather focus on your education, as lame as that sounds. Your parents don’t pay all this money for you to slack off. Not only that, you actually want to do well. It’s easier when you are outgoing like Hoseok, everyone likes him. That doesn’t necessarily mean he is best friends with everyone. It just means people like being around him. On the other hand, some people think you are a bit of a bore. That’s because they haven’t given you a chance to show your personality more. You’re so glad that your friends did otherwise things would be pretty lonely around here. Especially when you have to live here for a whole year.  

Who knows? You might even gain two new friends this year. Providing they actually like you. That’s why you have to make a good first impression with them on Monday. Show them that Y/n Y/l/n is great fun to be around. 

Monday Morning... 

You wake up a little bit earlier this morning to make sure you look presentable. Normally, you don’t put in as much effort as this but it is the first day back and you have two new students to look after. Meaning you have to look your best. The curls in your hair sit perfectly in place and you make the finishing touches to your makeup. You grab your backpack, throwing it over your shoulders before leaving your dorm. 

The principal told you to come to his office at 8 o’clock to meet the new students, so you make your way to his office with some time to spare. On your way, you are spotted by Seokjin and Namjoon who wave at you frantically. You make your way over, deciding to stop and chat with them for a little bit. 

“Hey guys, it’s good to see you.” You give them both a quick hug but Jin holds on for a little bit longer than expected. 

“Y/n I have missed you!” He finally lets go, your bones feel like they have been crushed, he’s stronger than he looks. “Where’s Hoseok?” He asks when he realizes he is currently not with you. 

“Hobi’s probably still in bed right now.” You shrug your shoulders, not knowing for sure. 

Namjoon turns to his older brother slightly concerned, “Should we go wake him? He can’t be late on the first day.” 

“If we must.” Jin blows a lock of his hair out of his eye dramatically. “See you around, y/n!” 

“Bye guys!” You wave to them as they head for the boy’s dorms. 

After your abrupt reunion with the eldest of the Kim brothers, you continue to make your way to the principal’s office. You knock on the door, waiting for a reply. A few seconds later, Mr Schumer prompts you to enter. As soon as you walk in two heads turn in their seats to look at you. The blond one’s face is expressionless as he looks you up and down. The one with the orange hair gives you a playful smirk. You swallow hard, suddenly feeling nervous and shy. Both of them are extremely attractive. How are you supposed to be around them? If you knew they were going to be this hot, you might have declined to be their buddy. 

“Y/n, please take a seat.” Principal Schumer says, sitting at his desk with his hands clasped and a smile on his face. You laugh nervously, taking a seat beside the one with the orange hair. The blond one is kind of intimidating, you would be a wreck if you sat next to him. “Why don’t you boys introduce yourselves?”

“I’m Jimin, nice to meet you.” He holds his hand out and you shake it. 

“Yoongi.” The other says his name but doesn’t want to shake hands with you. 

“Good. Now that we’re all acquainted, Y/n can start showing you around the place before your classes start. If you boys have any issues at all, you come speak to me, okay?” Principal Schumer seems eager to get you all out of his office. It’s the first day so he will have a lot of stuff to get through. 

“Yes, Mr Schumer.” Jimin breaks eye contact with you and smiles at the principal like butter couldn’t melt. He doesn’t fool you though, this boy is going to be trouble and you know it. 

Yoongi just sits there quietly, arms folded, looking unbothered. Something also tells you that he is going to cause problems for you. This is certainly not what you expected. To be honest, you don’t really know what you were expecting. It’s not like you can turn back now, you’re stuck with these two. 

The three of you exit Mr Schumer’s office, both Jimin and Yoongi look at you expectantly. “Are you going to show us around or not?” Yoongi rolls his eyes at you for just standing there. 

“Y-yes, of course. Follow me.” You tuck your hair behind your ear, leading the way. 

Yoongi and Jimin follow you closely behind around the building. Everyone is looking at them (mostly girls) and whispering to each other. They would giggle as you walked by them. You don’t get why girls get so giddy around boys. Sure, Jimin and Yoongi are nice to look at but they make you want to run off a cliff because they make you so nervous. Being around them makes you feel on edge. You hide it well, though, keeping it together. 

Once the tour of the school is complete you stop to ask them about their timetable. “May I see your timetables?” You ask them. 

Jimin gives you one of those flirty looks again. “Of course you can, sweetie.” He hands it over to you gladly. 

“Here.” Yoongi practically shoves it into your hand. 

It doesn’t take long for you to realise that they are both in all your classes. Great, just great. Is the world really trying to punish you? How on earth are you supposed to concentrate on anything with these two around?! You hand them back. “Looks like we’re all in the same classes. It’s English first period.” 

“I like it here already.” Jimin’s smile increases. 

“Great, I’m literally stuck with you two,” Yoongi says rather unenthusiastically. Seriously, what is this guy’s problem? He has been nothing but rude since you met him. “Can we go to class now?”

“Yeah, let’s go.” You force a smile even though inside your rage is brewing. 

When the three of you walk into the room, everyone falls silent, including your friends Hoseok and Namjoon. This is the first time they have seen you with the new students. They look at each other, mouths open in shock. Even they didn’t expect them to be this attractive. The other guys in the class give Jimin and Yoongi ‘the look’ as if they are exerting their dominance somehow. That’s another thing you will never understand. Why do guys suddenly act all macho when there is new competition? Surely they shouldn’t have anything to worry about? 

Since you are their buddy, you will have to sit with them in every class, at least until they settle in. There are three spare seats in the middle row. Jimin and Yoongi sit on either side of you, leaving you awkwardly in between them. Namjoon and Hoseok turn around in their seats, gawking. You glare at them, not wanting to draw any more attention to yourself. They turn back around like scared little puppies. 

Thankfully, Mrs Chen finally shows up to save you from this awkwardness. You hoped she would get started on the class straight away but she is fully aware of the two new faces in front of her. Jimin looks over at you and winks, your cheeks start burning up. Why is he being so flirty with you? Is that just part of his personality? If so, it is making you kind of uncomfortable. 

“Good morning everyone. It’s good to see you all again. I hope you had a fantastic summer.” She greets the class as always. “I see we have two new faces with us this year. Boys, would you like to introduce yourself to the class?” 

Jimin automatically gets up from his seat and makes his way to the front of the class. Almost as if he has done this before. Yoongi, however, remains seated. The whole class is staring at him. He lets out a sigh before dragging himself to the front beside Jimin. You can tell he is out of his comfort zone. Maybe he isn’t rude for the sake of it. Sure, he’s antisocial but what if there’s a reason? You never thought about that until now. 

“Who wants to go first?” Mrs Chen asks, standing between them. 

“I’ll go first.” Jimin is quick to volunteer. Probably because he can’t wait to talk about himself. “Hey, my name’s Jimin. I’m from Busan.” Surprisingly he keeps it short and sweet. Instead of talking to the class as a whole his gaze is fixated on you, making you shift in your chair. 

“I’m Yoongi and I’m from Daegu.” His eyes dart around the room, not knowing where to look. 

“Thank you, you may now return to your seats.” Everyone claps for them as they make their way back. 

You find yourself looking over at Yoongi, who sits with his head resting on his closed fist. From the corner of his eye, he catches you looking. You quickly divert your eyes, acting as if you weren’t just staring at him.

It is finally lunchtime. Your first day back has officially dragged in. Having Yoongi and Jimin in all your classes so far has been exhausting. Jimin is very talkative whereas Yoongi, not so much. You have to force the conversation out of him. It is like trying to talk to a brick wall; ineffective. Maybe things will be different now that it is lunchtime, he might loosen up a bit. You asked Jimin and Yoongi if they would like to join you and your friends for lunch. It will be good for them to get to know other people. Hopefully, they will make their own friends soon enough. That way, you don’t have to worry about them anymore. 

The two of them are currently deciding what they want to eat so you make your way over to your table. Namjoon, Hoseok and Seokjin are already there waiting. You slump down on the bench, placing your tray on the table. 

“What’s the matter with you?” Jin stops eating to ask. “I thought you would be over the moon. Everyone is talking about how hot the new guys are.” 

“Hot guys make me nervous.” You point out. “Besides one is really mean and the other is too flirty.” You let your shoulders fall. 

“That’s them over there, right?” Namjoon looks over at them. 

“Are they joining us?” Hoseok asks, his mouth stuffed with food. 

“Yeah I told them they could, you guys don’t mind, right?” You were hoping they would mind but of course, your friends are too nice. 

“Sssssh! They’re coming.” Jin orders you to be quiet. 

Jimin and Yoongi stand behind you, not knowing where they should sit. “Guys, this is Jimin and Yoongi.” You point to who is who to stop any confusion. Of course, Jimin decides to sit next to you while Yoongi sits beside Namjoon. As if today couldn’t get any more awkward for you. The others introduce themselves to save you from doing it. 

“So guys, how has your first day been so far?” Hoseok asks them both, making effort to get to know them. Bless his heart, he is so welcoming to everyone. 

“It’s been good. Thanks to y/n.” Jimin replies. 

Yoongi finishes chewing his food first before answering. “It’s been okay.” 

While the others talk, you sit there quietly eating your food. You have nothing to add to the conversation anyway. They are asking Jimin and Yoongi the usual questions. Jin then tries to impress them with his terrible jokes. Jimin laughs but Yoongi just gives him a blank look. Not because he doesn’t understand the joke, he just simply doesn't find them funny. Yoongi isn’t letting his guard down just yet, keeping mostly to himself, joining in every so often. His eyes meet yours briefly, except this time his expression isn’t harsh. When he realises he has been looking for too long he clears his throat and shyly looks away again.  

“Hey, y/n.” Taehyung taps you on the shoulder to get your attention. Jungkook is also with him. 

“Oh hey, Tae. What’s up?” You turn around to face him, thankful that he showed up when he did. 

Taehyung plays with his earlobe. “Remember before summer you said you would help me study biology? I was wondering if we could meet later?” He seems timid about asking you for such a favour. 

“Sure! I can meet you in the library straight after my last class if you’d like?” You are more than happy to help. After all, you did make a promise. 

“That would be great. I’ll see you then.” Taehyung leaves with Jungkook, waving to his two big brothers. 

As soon as they are gone, Jin stares you out. “You better not be crushing on my baby brother, Y/n.” 

“Don’t be ridiculous.” You sneer at him for his comment. “I’m just helping him out with his studies.”

“Why not ask me for help? Why you, huh?” Jin challenges you in front of the group, the rest fall quiet. Namjoon isn’t freaking out over this, so why is Jin adamant that you have a thing for his little brother? “Study biology my ass, is it that a euphemism?” 

“Eww, you’re so gross.” Your face screws up in disgust. How could he even say something like that? The boy has no filter. “Besides, I’m way smarter than you.” You tease and he nearly chokes on his food. 

“So, you’re a tutor, Y/n?” There’s a glint in Jimin’s eyes. You know exactly what he is thinking. 

“Not exactly...” You begin to answer, Jin’s suspicion growing more. Jimin has just put you in a very awkward position. If you turn him down, it will only make Jin question your intentions more with Taehyung. “What is it you need help with?” 

“Oh you know, a little bit of everything.” He doesn’t break eye contact with you the entire time. His stare is rather intense. 

“I guess I could help you out if you need it.” You have a feeling you will regret saying that.

The first day back is officially over. As per-arranged, you meet Taehyung in the library after your last class. He has already found the two of you a table. You expected Jungkook to be here as well but he isn’t. Not that there’s a problem with that. You’re just here to study, right? Nothing more, nothing less. Hopefully, Taehyung sees it that way too. He’s your two best friend’s little brother, you could never see him that way. Sure, Taehyung is really handsome and one of the sweetest boys ever but you could never go there. He’s in the year below too, people would talk about you for seeing someone younger than you, even if it is only by a year. People will judge you for everything these days.

To be sure, you will treat these study sessions as formally as possible so that no one gets the wrong idea. It’s bad days when a girl and a guy can’t study without something going on. Rumours are bound to find there way around the school, they always do. At least you know they won’t be true.  

Today’s topic chosen by Taehyung- as he struggles with it the most- is genetics. You decide to start with genetic variations. He knows the basics which is good. Whenever he gets confused he asks you for clarification or to explain it better. While the two of you study you also teach him some of your techniques that help you remember. 

“So, what do you think of the new guys? I hear you are their buddy.” Taehyung decides to ask while he writes down some notes. 

The question throws you off a little bit. “They are alright, I guess.” You shrug your shoulders, having nothing more to say on the matter. 

Taehyung smiles at you. “That’s not the reaction I was expecting.” 

“Why? What were you expecting?” You are slightly confused. 

“Well, all the other girls have been swooning over them.” Taehyung shakes his head and laughs. 

“I see.” You tap your pencil against the wooden table, biting your bottom lip in thought. Jimin and Yoongi are ridiculously good-looking, it makes sense. You’re not that shallow though, looks aren’t everything. Besides, why would they be interested in you? There’s plenty of pretty girls they probably have their eyes on. Not that it bothers you. 

The buzzing in your pocket snaps you back to reality. “Do you mind if I check this?” You ask Taehyung before going on your phone, not wanting to be rude.

“Of course, I don’t mind.” He continues what he is doing while you quickly check your phone. There’s a text message from an unknown number. With furrowed brows, you unlock your screen. 

“Who’s got you smiling?” Taehyung asks out of curiosity, seeing a smile to yourself. 

“No one.” You place your phone face down on the table so that there are no more distractions. “Now, where were we?”

All My Idols Ch 32: The Things I Do For You

This is for the armies following me! I probably spelled something wrong but I’m tired so if something is really wrong please tell me and I’ll deal with it later. Enjoy and good night! And if anyone is curious, the story about going to the concert is true!

This is a horrible idea, I think to myself standing outside the new Bighit building, a duffle bag hanging off my shoulder. But I force my feet forward until I’m wandering the halls in search of one of the occupied practice rooms. It doesn’t take very long to find the noisy group of boys jumping around eagerly, barely trying to dance but they do the foot steps perfectly based on muscle memory at this point. I standing in the doorway doing the foot motions I know to the crazy baepsae dance. As the end comes closer the loser of rock paper scissors should be stepping forward to do their punishment dance. It’s Jungkook who looks about ready to bust out his normal silly dance when he notices me and beams. It only takes him a second to rush over to me and pull me into the center of the dance circle and begins spinning me around.

I can’t help but laugh as the giant boy spins me until his legs can’t hold him up anymore and topples to the ground, pulling me with him. We are dying while the others try to pull us a part. The young man and I both reluctantly release each other, allowing me to greet al the others.

“Good to see you found your way okay,” Namjoon gives me a strong hug.

“How are you feeling after your first performance?” Hobi wonders.

“My first performance? Who the hell cares about that? You guys are going to the Billboard Awards this week! That is freaking amazing!” I beam at them. The group of boys blush. “I wish I could go with to support you guys!”

Jimin gives me the biggest smile I’ve ever seen on his pretty face, “Can you?”

I shouldn’t have said that, now all of them are doing it, “You guys I have work, I’m sorry for even suggesting it.”

“Noona, don’t apologize, we completely understand. But don’t you ever want to go back to America? Even to visit?” Tae plops down on the floor next to me.

“Sure, there are a few places I would like to return to but I’m in no rush to go back. I have everything I need here. Next tour I’ll tag along for a few concerts, I’ll show you some great places I’ve been.”

Yoongi strokes my head, “I can’t wait.”

“So Joonie, have you thought about what you are going to say during your acceptance speech?”

The leader shrugs, “How can you be so sure we will need one? We are up against some great artists.”

I scoff, “You are kidding right? Have you looked at the polls? You guys are killing it! Yes you are up against some great artists but you are great too you know. You guys have worked so hard, it’s time the other side of the world started realizing it.”

“Our princess is so sweet,” Jin basically throws himself at me, forcing my back on to my back with the older on top.

“Hyung get off,” Jimin whines.

“I thought we were dancing?” Hobi gently kicks the older, who now has his arms wrapped around me in strong hug.

He mumbles a quiet thank you before attempting to move away but I pull him back into a just as tight hug. The others are confused by our sudden very lovey behavior but when Jin and I stand up they seem to brush it off. I roll my shoulders and stretch a bit, “What are we doing first?”

“Well you seem to be a fan up baepsae, should we try that first?” Kookie offers with a sly smirk.

“Yes! I make no promises that I will do it well this first round. Who should I copy?”

They hum but Hobi asks, “Who do you want to follow?”

“I usually copy Kookie,” I point to the youngest who is smirking even more, making me almost regret my honesty.

“Great! Come on Noona! Hyung! Start the song!” He grabs my hand and drags me to his starting place.

“Shouldn’t we break it down a bit for her first?” Joonie suggests.

“Let’s just jump in and see what she knows first, than we can go back and correct what we need to fix,” Hobi counters.

“It’ll be fine Joonie, I got this,” I mostly lie.

The boys look a bit uncertain but play the music nonetheless. I stand in Jungkook’s shadow at first, confused on exactly we are doing that but the minute we begin I’m being twirled in front, staring myself down in the mirror. So I try to focus on the moves and less on where I should be headed, with Kookie behind me I can’t really follow him. The boy just pulls me along by my hips, or waist, or just my belt loop, to say it was driving me insane wouldn’t do my feelings justice. I kick my legs up, expecting Kookie to stay a few feet behind me so he could do the moves himself but instead he is at most a foot away, as if he is just there to watch and escort me around.

I try to distance myself from the boy a bit, swinging around with the others, purposefully going the wrong direction but he is always there pulling me back. God this kid is driving me crazy. Though it would be a lie to say I’m not enjoying it. His eyes scan every inch of me during body rolls and hip thrusts, half way through the song someone stops it. We all freeze to see Yoongi standing by the speakers with a scowl on his face.

“Jungkook if you aren’t dancing you are out, Charlie can just dance in your place,” The older man decides.

“But Hyung.”

“Out!” Jungkook pouts but goes to sit on the floor facing us, Yoongi starts the song over and I find myself back where we began. I’m spinning around on my own this time, bouncing around, waving my legs like an idiot but Kookie seems to be enjoying it. I even catch the others staring during my little dance with Hobi and Jimin, hoping and praying I can do it half as well as Kookie, going from cute little bunny hop to hip thrusts without much in between.

Tae whistles and yells encouraging words, I send a wink his way. Being his normal ridiculous self, he pretends to faint, distracting me from whatever I’m supposed to do next. His scrunches as he laughs at himself, that face just melts my heart, I find myself forgetting the dance and lunching at him. My arms around his neck, legs around his waist in a koala hug that the other seems to enjoy.

“What is up with everyone being so clingy today,” Yoongi whines as he pulls me away from Tae into a hug of his own.

“You know why,” Jimin snaps coming to join our little group.

I cock my head, “I don’t, I would like to be informed.”

Namjoon sighs, “We are nervous about next week and you calm us down.”

“What?”

Jimin weasels his way pass Yoongi’s arms and rests his head on my shoulder, “You calm us down. You make us feel like nothing could ever bring us down, like we are the most amazing thing you have ever seen.”

I wiggle out of their embraces and clap my hands together, “Everyone sit your ass down, we apparently need to have a talk.” The are confused but obey my command, forming a little group on the floor in front of me. “Okay, let me just clear this up for all of you. You guys are amazing. Without any doubt I can say that. I love you guys so much, both as my friends and as idols. You guys have no idea how much I loved and respected you back when I was just fan. I was living with my grandparents one summer in another state when I found out you guys were going to be on tour in Chicago, which happened to be 8 hours away. So you know what I said? I said I wasn’t going to go, I worked and my family would murder me for even trying to go when I had a flight out of the country the morning after the concert. You know what I really did? Three days before the concert I was like fuck it! Bought a ticket for me and the one other Kpop fan in the state, lied to my family, and drove eight hours to see your concert, just your concert. The minute you finished we got back in the car and drove home, barely made it to the airport. We almost died on the way home, I should not have driven 16 hours in less than 24 with no sleep but oh my fucking god guys… it was worth it! You guys killed it! It was one of the best moments of my life! So don’t you ever say that you aren’t amazing! I almost died for you! That is how much I believe it you!”

They all stared at me for a moment, kind of dumbstruck by the rush of words out of my mouth. Jin stands up, his eyes narrowed, not the reaction I am expecting, “You did fucking what? Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?”

“Oppa, I think you are missing the point,” I try to counter but the others come up and agree.

“That is ridiculous! Charlie what would we have done if something had happen to you?” Hobi worries.

“You guys didn’t know me at the time, remember?” I chime. “Also in case you guys forgot I also jumped on a plane to come here after planning for like a few weeks.”

“Now you are missing the point! Thank you for doing that to see us but don’t ever do that shit again!”

I roll my eyes at them, “I would do it again in a heart beat.”

“No!” Joonie scolds, “Why do that when you can literally call us and we will go through hell to get to you?”

“For the thrill,” I muse. “And of course for you guys. I would cross a country for you guys. You don’t understand how much you mean to me. Now I thought we were here to dance, Kookie, show me how to do that thing from Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Up, up, boys lets do this!”

Two hours later I would say I’m a professional at BTS dances, or at least I’m not just flailing my arms anymore. Also, I can successfully do Kookie’s weird push up, body roll thing from blood, sweat, and tears, so I would say today was a great day. The others are tired and lying on the practice room floor when I decide it is time for me to go. After a lot of hugs and whining Namjoon is walking me out. At the front door of the building I turn to my escort and hug him tight.

“You know you don’t need to worry right? You guys are going to be amazing. Just don’t stress okay? You are so smart, I wish I was half as smart as you, but remember you don’t need to know every single English word. I don’t. So if things are hard to understand don’t panic, just ask, okay?”

He sighs, “If anyone needs to stop worrying, it’s you. Your little story gave me a boost in confidence, I know we got this.”

“If you need to practice your speech you know where to find me,” I hum with a big smile. Namjoon surprises me by cupping my cheeks, being so tall he towards over me, and I feel like we are in a drama.

His thumbs caress my cheeks softly, “I feel like I don’t tell you enough how much I appreciate you. Thank you so much for everything you do.” He kisses my forehead with those soft lips before stepping away, taking his warmth with him.

My face flushes, “Joonie.”

“Good night Noona, sleep tight,” Once again he kisses me, on the cheek this time. He goes back into the building, his ears just beginning to turn pink. I’m so thankful for my tan skin because I would be blushing so bad right now. I’m used to people kissing my head, checking me out, hugging me, holding me, but I don’t something felt so different with that. My god, I’m still blushing.

The Night Of The BBMA (I may be wrong on times but I believe it was like seven or eight in the morning when they started in Korea)

“Do we really need to make a big thing about it?” Seungri whines next to me.

“You can go,” Youngbae and I say together.

“Free up some spots,” Youngbae glares from where he sits on the other couch with Dae and Seunghyun. Jiyong is on my other side, I’m resting my head on his shoulder, his arm is around mine, Seungri is leaning back so his basically on top of me. We have been watching this for what feels like forever, the performances are cool but after being to so many Korean award shows and concerts it’s much less exciting. I root for the few American artists I still listen to but I’m not very up to date on everyone. But it is going to be worth it to see those dumbstruck faces of the people who don’t know the amzing artists who are on the other side of the world accept the award they deserve. My fingers run through Ri’s hair as he munches on popcorn. He feeds me a couple, the others glare at the interaction.

“When can we turn this off?” Seunghyun yawns.

“When they come on stage,” I scowl at him, “You can go to sleep you know.”

“Not after you woke me up at seven in the god damn morning on my day off,” He snaps back, so cranky.

“I made you breakfast, doesn’t that count for something.”

He sighs, “Yes, I’m sorry, it’s early.”

“Hyung it’s like eleven now,” Ri points out.

“Just shut up,” He growls back.

“I think it’s happening,” Youngbae points out excitedly, though I think it be because it means he can go back to sleep. I pop up in my seat and jump right to my feet to stand only a few feet from the TV. They don’t complain, just let me do what I want. My heart is racing when the nominees are listed, even though I know they are going to win I can’t help but shake with nervousness. When the speakers open the card and BTS’s name pops up I’m screaming. Literally screaming with joy to the point Seunghyun throws a pillow at me. I peek over my shoulders to see them pouting, as happy as they are about BTS winning they still don’t like when I’m fan girling over other people. But for now they can deal with it.

They all go up, looking damn near sinful in their suits, grinning ear to ear like the idiots they are. I’m bouncing on my toes as the go to the stage and accept their award. Of course Namjoon does all the speaking, talking about how grateful they are to be there and how amazing their fans are. I’m on the verge of tears when they start walking away but Namjoon stops back at the mic and smiles at the camera.

“One last person I need to mention, our number one fan, our princess Charlotte. We love you,” With that he winks at the camera, the other members hold up hearts and blow kisses. I’m dying. I’m actually on the floor dying. I’m kicking my legs, rolling on the ground in a fit of giggles. My heart is freaking out in my chest, I can’t believe this. Moments like this my life becomes surreal, my everyday life feels like a fairytale in its’ self but now I feel like I fell down the hole to wonderland.

“Those boys have death wish,” Seungri pouts.

“They can’t just confess like that on international television!” Jiyong joins in.

I smirk at him, “They just did!”

After one more fan girl scream Jiyong rolls his eyes, wraps his robe around him and shuffles back to bed, mumbling under his breath, “I tell you I love you everyday.”

“And I scream a little bit inside every time,” I wink at the green haired man.

I’m glad it holds no bad memories for you now my love ^^ Thank you for reading the chapter dear :D And as for their ages, I did specify Yoongi’s was older than Taehyung in a precious chapter (I just can’t remember which chapter, sorry!) and Namjoon is University/college age so somewhere between 18-25 (I decided not to give a specific age). Unfortunately, I never specified Hoseok and Seokjin’s ages in the story but they would have been University age too :D

Yes - I was excited to reveal why Namjoon was the way he was, so that everyone could understand him better. I felt that this chapter was the best time to do that as the other chapters before the ball kind of painted him in a negative light. OK first things first shout out to the uber guy who was blasting a kpop spotify playlist when he pulled up to get me lmao

He told me he personally wasn't into it but that he had been driving people to the venue since like 11:00 AM and he already saw people lining up so i was like 💀

I got to the venue by 6:30PM and had to wait like 5 minutes to get in

OK…..so I ended up getting an ARMY bomb ewhvfqghrlhotw

And….here’s the kicker……….it was $60 🙃🙃🙃

It was impulsive af but i had the money and i was so afraid i wouldn't get anything else because shiz was selling out fast so i panicked 😬

I waited in this long ass line because i knew I had to get some kind of souvenir but by the time i got to the front the ARMY bombs were the only things left

And you know what's hilarious? i ended up not even using the ARMY bomb because after waiting in the second line i didn't even have enough time to charge it 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

So i was just like Fuck It and bolted to my seat which was 2nd tier

Even though my seat wasn't close to the guys...it didn't feel too far away? The venue is really nice tbh like i was of reasonable distance and could see everything fine.

My seat was at the end of a row in the middle seats so i didn't feel squished which is a HUGE bonus cuz that was my main concern so overall I think my seat was pretty good.

Before i talk my head off about the performances i want to give a big shout out to the people who filmed, did artwork and put together the VCR’s throughout the concert. Everything was so beautiful and fit the themes and songs well.

After the first VCR, which was arguably an art film, these guys came out with Not Today and y’all….

It wAS SO HYPE

That was honestly when i realized that this was...Actually Happening.

Like these guys i care about so much were performing right in front of me

I screamed so damn loud lmaooo

After Not Today they did their introductions and they were all SO CUTE ☺️

Ofc Hobi did his iconic “I’m your Hope!” and my heart fell out of my ass LMAO

Yoongi was so freakin Extra™ he took his damn ear buds out and made that cocky hand gesture where he closed his eyes and put his palm to the back of his ear to get everyone to scream for him I CAN’T with him 😒

But.. i still screamed as loud as i could 😏

I screamed for all the members everyone did

After their cute introductions and small talk they continued on with the concert where they performed Am I Wrong (an under appreciated tune), Baepsae (LIT 👅👅👅 they all looked so hot) and the Dope which i hadn't listened to in a while so i felt nostalgic jamming to it.

And then we got to the solo stages...

Jungkook is such a talented kid tbh. Like i joke about him a lot in my tags but he looked so cool performing Begin. His footwork was something else 👌🏾

After him was Jimin with Lie and HE HAD HIS TIDDIES OUT (I’m calling his mama lmao). But no it was just a reallllllly low cut shirt like 👀 I see you chimchim. The performance was literally art in motion for me with the choreography and background VCR, and the song itself is just a masterpiece, my fave solo after MAMA. Jimin is so captivating to watch.

After him was Yoongi with First Love and it was so beautiful and passionate. The background VCR had really well done art and complimented the beauty of the song. Yoongi has such a cool energy to him, very confident and unafraid. I really appreciate what he had to offer.

And look... I already knew Yoongi was a good looking dude but like…Idk what happened but this concert made me realize how beautiful he really is??? Hobi is my bae you guys know that but Yoongi had me swerving a couple of times jesus 👀

After that they came back together as a group perform Lost (vocal line only, and another under appreciated bop) Save Me (my favorite group performance, when Hobi’s part came on I screamed and then loudly repeated the only english line he had in his verse,”The best of me!”) and then I Need U (a classic)

After that was Namjoon who performed Reflection which was very mellow. It is a very vulnerable song that encompasses emotions I think anyone can relate to. I am glad he could openly share those feelings in a song. When he go to the part where he repeats the “I wish I could love myself” line we were all chanting WE LOVE YOU like the fans at Brazil and Newark. It was so sweet ☺️

After him was Taehyung with Stigma and HE DID THAT. Tae really gave his all during that performance. I still worry over his vocal technique tho cuz he is a natural baritone and that solo had a lot of high notes. But he was so immersed in his song and it was so soulful like 😭 I’m super proud of him.

And after him...MY MAN CAME OUT 😰 😰 😰  

Y’all i was NOT ready Hobi KILLED IT. Mama is such a bop but the meaning behind it is so gorgeous this boy really does love his mom. He danced, rapped and during the ending chorus he had his lil singing adlibs and I was just felt so content and happy seeing him perform with all his energy. He really is our Hope 😭😭😭😭

And during Hobi’s solo they showed soooo many baby pictures 😱 they showed pictures of him I never seen before including awkward pre teen photos of him posing like a superhero and I LOVED THAT cuz we all have those super awk photos we took when we were 12 thinking we looked badass and then we see them now and we’re like 🙄 so I’m really glad he was confident enough to show that he’s just as human as everyone else. And then...

JIN’S SOLO MADE ME CRY 😖

ALRIGHT so here’s the deal…

Hobi is my Official Bias™ and Yoongi is my now confirmed Bias Wrecker™ but…

Jin is…idk I can’t explain it but he has such a special place in my heart. He gets overlooked a lot and in his solo song Awake he sings about this. Feeling like he is sometimes not a part of his own group and I’ve felt that way before so many times. Hell all my life even. When he was singing his solo I honest to god teared up like he’s just such a great guy with a great sense of humor who works so hard in everything he does. I sang most of the song and I screamed so loud for him, everyone did. I just hope he felt loved that night ❤️

Jeez i teared up just writing that…

And then….after that was the cypher 💀💀💀

EVERYONE was hyped, rap line went off, it was around this time were my voice was starting to hurt 😥

After that was Fire, another hype song

And then it was a huge mashup of their debut/rookie years title songs. It made me realize how far they’ve all came when it comes to music.

Diring that they performed Run which is the era i really started to stan them. It brought back some more nostalgia, mainly back to when the fandom life didn't feel so damn dramatic 25/8 😒

After that was when the started to talk with us again. They talked about how they spent their time in Chicago and how happy they felt to be there.

HOBI WENT TO THE CHICAGO AQUARIUM AND GOT THIS CUTE SHARK HAT AND HE WAS SHOWING IT OFF LIKE IT WAS A TROPHY IT WAS SO CUTE!!!!!!

Namjoon said he went to look at Lake Michigan and the Michigander in me was like 😵😵😵

Like yes boys come to Michigan sometime! Swim across the lake lmao 😭

Namjoon also said that if he had to chose any US city to live in it would be Chicago which i thought was super cute and everyone around me was going nuts. I like Chicago a lot too and i hadn't been there in such a long time so it was good to come back for the concert. Hopefully I can stay longer next time

Also! The Chicago Armys did the rainbow project as well!!! It was so pretty. The organizers did such a great job. I remember when American Armys were first talking about making a project with the light sticks but people (including other American fans) were sort of putting them down because they thought we should leave making good fan projects to the Korean Armys which made me go??? But you guys really pulled it off!!!! Im proud of y’all.

The boys looked shocked that the American fans did it again because they had already did the same project at the Newark concerts, they all looked so happy and commented on it and how grateful they were.

After that they performed their more recent songs off the WINGS album including 2! 3! Hope For Better Days which had a beautiful montage of all the members from debut era. I know i keep saying this but it was obviously nostalgic

The also performed the WINGS Intro which I LOVE and wish it were made to a full song but for the concert they made it longer than usual so the boys could goof off and interact with fans and the stuffed animals the fans tossed at them. Jungkook wore these cute bunny ears  ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ super cute. They all looked like they were having a blast with the fans at the floor seats. That was the only time I felt jealous of not getting a floor seat. There’s always next time tho!

The last songs they performed were Boy Meets Evil(Hobi’s other solo that was the album intro, and ofc he freaking killed it!!! He is such a talented dancer and i hope he goes on Hit the Stage one day so everyone, especially non-fans, can finally see how great of a dancer he is) BST(LIT!) and Spring Day(Beautiful performance, a great way to end the concert)

The boys stayed on stage for the longest time even after Spring Day ended. They all took their sweet time doing final bows and saying goodbye to the fans. They were so sweet this whole concert and always kept the crowd hyped when they could talk to us throughout the concert. I'm so thankful I saw them. I'll never forget this and I hope to see them again.
