Summary: Lando parties a bit too hard and needs to be patched up. Luckily, he can count on a pretty nurse.

King’s Day 2024. Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Amongst all the drivers, people would’ve thought Max Verstappen the most prone to be sighted in public while celebrating his country on its national day. However, the one that was currently trending on social media was Lando Norris. Pictures as well as videos were being posted, reposted, and commented on every second. No one had expected Lando to spend the weekend away in the Netherlands in between two grand prix. But here he was, partying on a boat and even DJ-ing along with his good friend Martin Garrix.

Lando didn’t know whether people just didn’t care about him – seeing as the Netherlands were the home of one of the greatest drivers of the current generation – or if people actually didn’t know him. In any case, he was glad not to be disturbed by fans – even though he loved them – and be able to enjoy the day the same way everyone else was doing it: by partying, dancing, singing, and drinking.

Obviously, Lando was planning to be careful as he knew that his PR team would have his head if he did something stupid during his two-week break. But still, he was having fun like a typical twenty-four year old. He was having the time of his life. Dutch people definitely knew how to party on their national day, that’s for sure.

A few hours later however, what everyone hadn’t been expecting was for Lando to end the day with bandages all over his face. As the surprise of him being in the Netherlands settled down after a while, pictures and videos stopped circulating around. Until fans all over the world were met with images of Lando with a bloody nose, a smile still on his face. People had no idea what had happened. No context had been given, only the speculation of Lando having drunk and partied too hard that he had hurt himself.

Fortunately for him, Lando had been able to count on you. Being a friend of a friend, you loosely knew Martin but had never really exchanged more than a few words with him. However, he was currently glad that the invitation to his boat party had managed to reach you as you were qualified to take care of Lando’s battle wound – his words. Being a nurse, and the only one with some medical knowledge on the boat, you had quickly reacted when people had started panicking after seeing Lando’s face starting to bleed.

To be honest, people had overreacted a bit. Because when you approached Lando to see the extent of the damage, you realised it was only a cut albeit the consequence of some glass. So although he wasn’t hurt very badly, you still suggested bringing him into the hospital where you worked. Obviously, Lando had refused at first as he pretended that everything was fine. He was. But just to be sure, you needed to give him a general check-up in a clean location as a random boat in Amsterdam wasn’t exactly the most hygienic place to patch someone up.

So after Martin also agreed to the idea, Lando had no choice but to listen to his friend and go with you. The Dutch told Lando that he would come get him later as he needed to bring his DJ equipment back home – he promised to be ready to give him a ride back from the hospital later on as he knew that Lando had a flight the next day. This is thus how you found yourself in a cab with none other than Formula One driver Lando Norris on the way to your workplace. Truth be told, you hadn’t expected to go there today. But you knew it was part of your job to be able to help anyone in need even if you were on your day off.

The ride had mostly been silent. Lando had been on his phone, probably texting a few people about his whereabouts, while you were focused on the next steps to do when you’d be arriving at the hospital. You were pleasantly surprised when Lando paid the driver without a second thought and told him to keep the change.

“I could’ve paid, you know. Thanks,” you told him as you entered the building.

“You’re taking care of me on what definitely seemed like your day off, so that’s the least I can do for you.” Lando smiled at you and even with the bandages around his face, he was still very good-looking.

“Still, I appreciate it. You can go wait in this room if that’s okay?” He nodded and you finished explaining what would happen next. “I just need to inform my manager I’m here, get some stuff for a small check-up, and then I’m all yours. I won’t be long.”

“Sounds perfect”, Lando replied with a grin.

True to your words, you were back in the room where you’d left the Brit less than ten minutes later. He noticed that you’d changed into your uniform – which you’d been lucky to have a spare here as your usual one was at your flat – and enjoyed the view of observing you in your element. Working in the medical field was your calling, and you didn’t see yourself anywhere else.

First, you removed the bandages that you’d wrapped around Lando’s face earlier before you cleaned up the small wound – properly this time, with adequate material. As Lando winced when you disinfected it, you apologised.

“Does it hurt much?” You asked.

“Not really”, he shrugged. “Just uncomfortable I guess.”

“Hmm, okay”, you nodded. “Tell me if there’s anything else at any point.”

Quickly finishing up, you were soon enough putting a band-aid on Lando’s nose. You debated offering to put a silly one originally designed for kids, but decided otherwise as you didn’t want to look weird for suggesting it. However, the driver had noticed your eyes drifting to them when you’d hesitated in which one to take, so he spoke up:

“You think you could actually give me one of those”, he wondered with a smile before adding. “The cute ones, there.”

When you saw that he was pointing at the Disney ones, you stiffled a laugh. You hadn’t expected him to directly ask for one himself, but you were kinda glad that he did. Amongst the different characters present, your choice was easily made.

“I guess that the Cars one caught your eye?” You raised an eyebrow, waiting to see if you were right.

“Bingo!” He laughed. “I’ll admit that Frozen was tempting but I gotta stay true to my roots.”

“Fair enough”, you chuckled. “Your job ain’t really much to do with building ice castles, or I’ve done my research wrong.”

“You looked me up?” Lando asked, the surprise obvious in his tone.

“Well, yeah?” You answered with a ‘duh’ tone as you gently put the Cars band-aid over the plain one you’d previously applied. “Even though the whole country supports Max and not many people care about the other drivers, I gotta know about the competition.”

“You think I’m competition to Max?”

“Of course! Anyone is: as long as Max isn’t the only driver racing on track, he has competition.”

Your explanation made Lando’s grin widen as he was glad to be considered in the same league as the Max Verstappen, especially by someone who lived in the Netherlands. To you, any other driver that had managed to be a part of the twenty that raced in Formula One was a good one – Lando included.

“He does have three more championship titles than me though”, Lando stated. “And God knows how many wins.”

“He’s had a good car for years,” you pointed out. “Your time will come, don’t worry. I can feel the papaya greatness for this year – though if I ever wear orange, it’s for Max.”

Not knowing what to reply to your words, Lando simply nodded while you put away the box of band-aids. You thought about the final steps of your check-up, and turned back to face the driver.

“Okay, so I’ll just put this on your finger to see your heart rate and then I’ll make you do a breathalyser if that’s alright with you?”

“Yeah, no problem. Do your job, don’t worry.”

“Great, thanks.” You carefully clipped the pulse oximeter on Lando’s finger before stepping away. “I'll be right back in a minute.”

“Take your time,” Lando replied. “I’m not going anywhere.”

When you left the room, the Brit let out the biggest sigh of his life. Oh God, he thought. It seemed like you hadn’t realised how close you’d been to Lando as you were only focused on doing your job, but he hadn’t been able to take his eyes away from you. He really hoped you hadn’t noticed anything, as the last thing he wanted was to make you uncomfortable at your workplace. Get a grip, Lando told himself while waiting for you to be back. Don’t fuck this up if you want a chance.

You came back into the room shortly after, a box in your hands – which Lando assumed to be the breathalyser. He knew he had drunk enough that he wouldn’t be allowed to drive, but he hoped he had sobered up enough after his trip to the hospital. After unboxing the breathalyser, you got close to Lando again and explained to him what he’d have to do.

“Nothing too complicated, don't worry. You’ll just have to exhale into this.” You showed him the object. “And I’ll tell you when to stop. Then, you’ll be good to go!”

Lando nodded in reply, even though he hadn’t really paid attention to the actual words you’d said. He had been more focused on your face and the way you’d gently brushed a strand of hair away from your face. He almost wished he’d been the one to do it, and he wondered if it was the remains of alcohol in his blood making him think that. He also wondered if he would still be attracted to you if he had met you while stone cold sober. But when you gave him a soft reassuring smile as you told him to be ready to blow into the breathalyser, he knew he would find you gorgeous no matter his state of mind.

What he didn’t know though, is if it was the alcohol or his attraction to you that was making his heart faster – both, to be honest. The result was the same: the machine was showing his heart rate quickening and Lando could perfectly hear it echoing in his head, which made his eyes widen at the thought that you would hear it too. Lando’s heart rate was actually the least of your worries as you were focused on the current task of measuring the level of alcohol in his blood, but it became the most important barely two seconds later when you heard the continuing beep that usually meant the lack of heartbeat.

“Your heart is going flatline!” You exclaimed in shock as you tried to quickly assess how Lando looked in order to find the cause. “Oh my God… oh my God, what the fuck is happening?!”

And while you were panicking, Lando realised that he had made a grave mistake. See, as he still wasn’t back to his normal state of mind, the driver thought that it was a wonderful idea to just remove the pulse oximeter from his finger so that you wouldn’t have noticed his heart rate speeding. But of course, you had immediately noticed the lack of constant beep from the machine and were currently still stressing – breathalyser completely forgotten.

Seeing your panicked state, Lando was now feeling extremely guilty and decided to come clean.

“I’m fine!” He was almost shouting. Hearing his voice made you stop in your tracks, and you looked at him with worry in your eyes. “Sorry”, he apologised. “I accidentally removed the thing, please calm down. I’m not dead.”

“Oh”, you could only answer. You felt awkward now. “That’s good, then.” You scratched your neck and nervously laughed. “It’s weird, it shouldn’t come off that easily unless it’s forcibly removed. Sorry if I gave you one that wasn’t properly working.”

And this was his last straw. Lando was now feeling even guiltier at your words, as you were going to blame yourself for using seemingly faulty equipment.

“Please don’t be mad, but… I-actually-removed-it-myself”, he said as quickly as he could.

“What?” You questioned with a tilt of your head.

“I removed the heart thingy myself because I didn’t want you to hear my heart rate.”

“Lando, that’s my job?”

“Yeah, but like…” He didn’t know what else to say, except for the truth – thank the alcohol for giving him the confidence to utter the next words. “I was just thinking about you, and you were looking super pretty while explaining stuff, and I wasn’t really paying attention to be honest, but then I felt like my heartbeat was going really fast, and you’d hear it, and you’d think I’m like weird, and–”

“Oh God, Lando calm down!” You put your hands on his shoulders so that he would look at you instead of the floor, and meeting your eyes silenced him. “You’re good, don’t explain yourself. I know that you’re not completely sober yet so your mind might make you do weird things. I’m just glad you’re alright and not suddenly a victim of a heart attack.”

“I don’t want you to see me as a crazy drunk guy right now!” He retorted, trying to clear his name. “Even sober, I’d think the same. Maybe not do the same stupid shit though…” He muttered the last sentence.

Silence now filled the room as you removed your hands from Lando and put them in your pockets before sighing. You tried to assess the situation and process his words. You’d had your fair share of people complimenting you in your workplace so Lando’s feelings weren’t that unusual, but it was still rare to end up in this type of situation. You thought for a minute about what to do while Lando stayed quiet. He was scared of dumb words leaving his mouth, so he didn’t want to take any more risks.

“Tell you what”, you caught his attention. “We finish this up, I clear you free to go, and maybe we can start over when you’re not my patient anymore. Sounds good?”

Still not trusting his words, Lando simply nodded. You then kept going with the last steps of your check-up before announcing to Lando that he was discharged. He had surprisingly sobered up quicker than you would’ve thought – maybe because of the heart rate incident – and his alcohol level wasn’t as high as you’d imagined it to be.

You walked him back to the entrance hall and asked him if Martin was here to get him. He briefly checked his phone and noticed a couple texts from the Dutch that were notifying him of his arrival in a few minutes. You therefore decided to wait with Lando, having all the time in the world – it was still your day off and you knew that the hospital wasn’t understaffed today, so there was no need for you to stay and give a hand.

As you were waiting in an excruciatingly awkward silence, Lando chose to man up and clear the previous situation up.

“I still think you’re beautiful,” he stated. “And I’d love to get to know you,” he added. “I know I’m not fully sober yet, but I’m almost there and my thoughts haven’t changed.”

“That’s good to know”.

“Good as in positive for me to shoot my shot?” Lando wondered with a nervous smile.

“You can try, I think your chances of success are pretty high right now.”

“Great.” His grin widened, and you couldn’t help thinking about how he was currently the beautiful one. “So, can we go out together one day? I know this great restaurant that my wonderful local friends told me about.”

“That’d be my pleasure”, you replied.

“When do you finish work?” He asked, even though he knew the answer.

“I’m actually done…” You feigned to analyse the time on your watch. “Right now. What a coincidence!”

“Coincidence indeed”, Lando agreed. He then took out his phone and gave it to you. “I’ll text you the location?”

“Sure”, you nodded. “Maybe not a full meal tonight, but I’m still down for a drink and snacks.”

“Works for me. Raincheck for a proper date then?”

“Come back for it once you have a race win under your belt”, you challenged.

“Deal”, he accepted. “I have really good motivation.”

“Tell you what, you can also get a wish if it’s the next race that you win.”

“A wish? Anything?” You nodded and Lando thought about ideas. “Kiss on the first date?”

“Alright, you’re on!” You sealed the deal with a handshake, a playful glint in your eyes.

Merely a couple seconds later, Martin was pulling up in front of the hospital which was yours and Lando’s cue to go your separate ways before meeting soon again.

A week later following your semi-date with Lando, you were now watching him celebrate his first win on the top step of the podium in Miami. You couldn’t be prouder of him, and your first thought was to text him as soon as you saw him go back to his garage. You hoped that he’d have access to his phone soon enough and quickly drafted a message to congratulate him. Right before you sent it, your wish – and eventually his in the process – seemed to have been granted.

You chuckled at his texts, a blush appearing on your cheeks as you thought about how he was still serious about you, and deleted your initial message before sending a new one.

If Lando never imagined that being hurt could lead to him bagging a pretty nurse and getting his first Formula One win, he was now thinking that maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to get a small wound before each race if it meant that you would take care of him and that he’d be lifting the winner’s trophy afterwards.

Hello hello I'm thinking about @triple-starsss Band AU again but this time I'm gonna rant about my 2 AM thoughts cause I can't sleep and I dont wanna bother anyone rn jshsj, sorry people you gotta deal with my brainrot now :3

Under the cut- Crow rants about Nova, Surge and Kit's band from their Project Starkiller AU if they were in this T.S AU.

Please keep in mind this is a big ol ✨ What If ✨ scenario, I'm just airing out my festering thoughts

The au in general is very fun and I love it very much. I wanna take the whole AU, put it in a jar and shake it around /aff

Now, as far as I'm aware Vix (the AU's creator) said surge and kit won't be prominent in the au to not give T.S too many rivals (understandable) upon reading this I thought "kinda funny that in my AU they already have a little band with Nova.. waitaminute-

SO since this au is kinda more realistic, Surge and Kit are not lab experiments, just two orphans with way too much emotional turmoil and inner resentment, y'know, for the plot /j. Same thing for Nova except she's not an orphan, she's a home runaway (for context, Nova the Cat is from my AU, Project Starkiller, she's an escapee from a lab in another dimension) Thanks to their similarities, being alone and angry at the world, the trio gets along and ends up sticking together.

Personally I'd have Surge aged up so she's old enough to keep a job and a small apartment so they're not. Y'know. On the streets. Surge is doing her best to provide for them, but it's hard. Nova would be the one to convince them to try starting a "band," not really expecting it to go anywhere, she already brought her guitar with her when she ran away from home anyway so, hey, why not give it a try? Surge agrees because she just wants to yell a lot, and Kit agrees because Surge agrees.

I think it'd be good for them all as a coping mechanism, Kit gets to hit stuff, Surge, of course, gets to yell, and Nova's already doing the one thing she enjoys.

Now, at first they are!! Not good!! At all!! They have very cheap equipment and Surge & Kit are newbies, Nova is an okayish teacher but she's also!! A child!! A child prodigy, sure, but a child nonetheless. As they get better they start posting their songs and covers on.. whatever the Mobius version of YouTube is. Some people like their stuff, and thus starts their lil' YouTube career /hj

Edit: I should probably mention that they aren't rivals of the triple stars band or Metallic Madness- Nova is inspired by them both, Surge kinda hates them both for. Some reason. (Bad vibes ig) And Kit is kinda indifferent

It feels really weird doing this xD but I guess talking about asking for help/feedback/generally venting about stuff (minor or otherwise) is always gonna feel weird? Is that what I'm doing right now? I have no idea. But anyway, writing it all out will hopefully help get it off my chest and I can try to move on to practical things. Mregh.

So I'm working on a series of oneshots about the first year of Kingsley's life (it was initially gonna be just the first six months before M9 Reunited but then I had some ideas that would only make sense after that, so here we are), and I've managed to get exactly one of them done so far. Which is good! I've got a second one in the works and a list of ideas for the others, buuuut I've managed to get myself stuck in the middle of the second one. Turns out it's hard to write Caduceus and Kingsley interactions when you have nothing to base them on XD and I guess that means I need a beta/somebody to bounce ideas off of. My regular beta (who is a wonderful person and one of my closest friends and who I love very much) is busy with real life stuff like work, so I don't want to bother them, and the people I want to ask to take a look at stuff and get ideas from are busy with their own fics and projects, and I don't want to bother them either. So here we are. I have anxiety up the wazzoo for a lot of things, including this, so it feels weird just putting a Tumblr post out there asking for help with something as silly as a fanfic...

And I'm always sort of afraid of writing Kingsley 'wrong', if that makes sense. Like, I know he's not Lucien or Molly, he's himself and there are echos of them in him, but with my whole belief that the memories of the previous purples are still there (just locked up until he's ready and comfortable enough as Kingsley to take them back and not get overwhelmed by them) and they sometimes leak out (the problem traveling with your past lives family is there's plenty of triggers there for stuff to slip through the cracks without context), and I worry that that makes it seem like I'm trying to turn him into Molly when I swear that's not what I'm thinking at all. So there's THAT layer to the anxiety as well.

So here I am with one one shot done, one about halfway done that I need a bit of a push with, and a list of ideas that I haven't started in on yet because I haven't gotten the second one done, and a lot of nerves about never getting anything done. Like, I'm not even gonna tag this because this is mostly just me trying to work out my anxiety about stuff (but uh if anyone is interested in helping or looking at some Kingsley stuff lemme know I guess), and I hope it helps. I've been having a lot of anxiety and nervousness about a lot of crap lately, and compared to other stuff, this is just such a minor bullshit thing to get wound up about.

God, anxiety SUCKS, y'all. It's the stupidest most irrational thing. Like 'ooh you wanted to do this as a fun lil side project to keep the creative juices going during downtime at work NOPE YOU'RE OBSESSED AND NERVOUS NOW ENJOY FEELING WEIRD WHENEVER YOU'RE AT YOUR LAPTOP FOR UNRELATED REASONS'.

i keep seeing more Caleb discourse in the tag here's my thoughts on the bullshit lol.

To get it out of the way, I was indifferent to Caleb in the main story and I saw him as my brother since we call the same women grandma. We were adopted, but still family. I found him a lil annoying, but that's partly due to the English dub lol. I also can see the read that "grandma" ran a group home and kids would come and go. Caleb and I had the longest overlapping time/visited grandma the most making if feel less incesty. Its been a bit since I played this section so this is all based on memory. lmao I just remember being confused on if he was our sibling or a really close friend-of-the-family kinda deal. He wasn't there longer enough to grab me, but wouldn't have minding seeing more about him/mc's past in general growing up. I also don't like incest and try to avoid content relating to it.

I think its unfair that each side of the fanbase is painting the other side as fucked up. like painting it as a "Chinese/Asian" culture thing to like incest is FUCKED. y'all know that step brother/sister (hell the whole ddlg shit) is a huge western porn category too. I'm not saying its good or I like it, but incest is a kink worldwide. Also acting as one culture as a monolith is fucked up. I know that its common in Asian cultures to refer to people as "sister", "brother", "auntie" in other cultures which isn't what I'm talking about. I also don't get why the incest shippers are so confused people find it gross? Some of the vocal incest/dark content/proshippers/whatever make it you MO to like "gross" and problematic content and be super loud about it. I don't care to agrue about it (just keep it tagged appropriately and age gated to 18+ spaces).

Translation vs Localization is always a hot topic. I feel its hard at the moment to see how it will affect the plot with the adoption termination vs death certificate to see if the localization change is "good" or "bad". In my opinion, I feel like getting the death certificate makes more sense like after the explosion they had to recover the bodies/investigating their deaths. Since it was investigated, they might had to keep it classified? I find it weird if they were dead and then "after death" we are no longer related unless one of us got readopted? If cyborg Caleb is real maybe Caleb got readopted by whoever gave him the body which i guess would make sense, but why remove grandma? I don't speak kor/jpn/chn or know their legal system(or mine for that matter) so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Though it makes sense for family,nest of kin, to pick up the death certificate unless I'm power of attorney for some reason. So, even trying to avoid incest allegations its still kinda there. TO BE HONEST I'm mainly annoyed people are calling it a translating error when its a localization change. Overall I feel like localizations can make good changes, but they can also make bad ones its a case by case thing and also personal preference. I do get the upset about it not being 1:1 translation too.

The other complaint I saw is we have Zayne as childhood friend why do we need another which is?? I think we could have another childhood friend li since they aren't the same personality. Usually we have childhood trios with the quiet, more reserved, keeps-us-out-of-trouble bestie (Zayne) and then we have the more reckless, playful, outgoing bestie (Caleb). If you don't like the childhood friend trope thats fine and having two li share it may annoy you, but it makes it seem that there are zayne and zayne 2 when its not the case lol.

Anyways, I think robot boyfriend could be fun if real, but I'm not a fan of brother/sister fucking so I hope they keep it on the downlow if they must cater to that subsection of the player base. Again I don't care if you like it for the sibling shit, I hope personally there is an easy way for me to avoid it. I can kinda see bother he's our brother and that he's a close almost family bestie. I am interested in seeing what Caleb is gonna add to the lore though. Personally, I'll just rewrite that Caleb and I were really close childhood friends. He would be at grandma's house so much its almost like he lived there or shes the god parent to him or something ^q^

The only thing I don't like is to get all the awards and goodies you do kinda have to play all routes all the time. Main story it makes sense, but in events I get annoyed having to also play the other li routes I'm indifferent/don't really care for. Also, each card gives us diamonds for playing so even if I don't like Caleb I want the diamonds to pull my favs. So, it would be harder to avoid the content to a point esp if they really lean into it. This is all based on limited information too, but I have a feeling Caleb will have a big difference between kor/jpn/chn server vs eng server if this small message is different. I am curious though how much has changed between each ver aside from va direction.

-So, I think for some reason the season one cast would be more protective of reader?

-They don’t know what happens or what is going to happen, since Joey too has no idea and can’t warn anybody.

-The minute Shane starts choking, everybody’s confused but catch on pretty quickly.

-Y'all start looking for clues, and split off into groups (scooby doo looking goofy ahh-)

-I'll leave which group reader is in to resder interpretation, but whichever you're is more likely to fall first.

-As the night progresses, you'll notice some of your time members becoming more protective of you, flanking you from each side

-You won't have a moment of peace the whole goddamn time. Someone will constantly be near you, watching you, etc.

-And then the deaths start coming :)

-Even though a lot of them are really competitive, and want to go home (with you ofc), a few of them realize that "Oh shit, I want to win but I also might actually die here" so work on protecting you instead.

-Joey would be on of the most protective ones, and nothing is too off with him other than a few offhand comments that might suggest you weaker and in need of protection. (Kinda like Amity and Willow in Labyrinth Runners tee hee)

He also won't stop following you around, never leaving your side once whereas the others sometimes go off to do something else.

-Eva would be noticeably different, acting fun and bouncy as ever but it seems strained, like kinda the way if you were to embarrass your mom in public and she can't kill you yet but like-

-Oli our beloved would be so freaking nice to you, although he can seem a bit more lost in thought and conflicted which is perfect if you wanna slip away for a second.

-Lele would.... Just kinda give you the chills ngl. Yk that scene were Eva and Lele were thirsting over one of the house owners? (I think his name was Colin or smth idek-) yeaahh that. But yandere.

-Timothy is a slimy little rat man who tries to get into your pants every second/j. But seriously, he would be one of the touchier yandere's and he definitely flirts a lot which can cause conflict in the group, so look out for that.

-Matt. Absolute simp, fool of a man. He may be the professor but Jesus Christ he forgets how to speak the second you come into his general vicinity. He'd sit in the simp pile with Eva and Lele.

-Shane is fucking dead lmao

-Sierra would be like.... A softer version of Lele. Definitely calculating and good at hiding how she feels, but a lot less sadistic and cold with reader. Probably gives a lil goofy smile every time she catches your eye.

-GloZell would be all over you, like Timothy, but whereas with Tim it was sly touches you better believe you are straight into her arms. Very touchy with you but in a more open way, so a few of the others are definitely planning against her.

-Justine (ily so much-) would be much like Matt, but actually goes up to more often instead of waiting for you to come to her. She just constantly has heart eyes around you and it shows

-Andrea would be like Timothy and GloZell, except it's always little hints instead of outright physical affection, and she's way smoother and pulling it off than those two. Probably pulls a blush out of reader once or twice (depending on how easy reader is to fluster) and the group is split between "she's next" and "teach me Ur ways" lol. It would be funny bc I imaging Matt going up to her most in a "teach me your ways" thing despite him never having the confidence to actually do it.

-All in all very chaotic. They split off into mini groups, everyone secretly plotting against the other, and a lot of squabbling. All the goddamn time. Joey and Eva are the only ones to have the sense of "THEY'RE RIGHT THERE SHUT THE FUCK UP" since the others are either too hotheaded or riled up to back down.

-lol just the mental image of Joey and Eva trying to calm people down, a whole ass bar fight happening in the middle of the room, reader, Oli, and the servants/maids of the house standing to the side like "for fucks sake-"

Kinktober 2022 Day 5: Gags

A/N: Gags featuring a lil tiny bit of food play. It is Beelzebub after all.

I'm a lot happier with how this came out than I thought I'd be! I meant to write them all at least a day in advance, but here I am falling behind :,)

Barbatos continued to stir the contents of the bowl before him. It would be a fluffy meringue, perfect for decorating. A grunt resounded behind him, making his prisoner known. 

Barbatos hummed, acting if he was paying no mind as he turned around.

Beelzebub was stationed on a wooden chair, hands bound and mouth gagged. Barbatos charmed the bindings himself to make sure the other demon couldn't escape by breaking through them. The  gag was wet with saliva, it had almost become translucent. Honestly Barbatos was impressed. He moved the bowl up, down, to his left, and to his right. No matter where it went, Beel's eyes followed.

“My my, is there something you want?” Barbatos asked, dragging his finger through the meringue. 

Muffled words came from Beelzebub’s mouth as he jostled his restraints. 

���Shame, I can’t seem to hear what you’re saying.”

Barbatos then proceeded to slowly lick the treat off of his finger, watching closely as Beel’s eyes stayed on him, intently. 

“I’ll tell you what, you behave and I’ll let you have a little taste.”

With a single finger, Barbatos undid the front of the other demon’s shirt and folded it nicely so his entire front was on display. Beelzebub was quite the specimen, and he was perfect for what Barbatos had in mind.  He took some more of the meringue and placed a dollop on each of Beel’s nipples. Barbatos swore that saliva was about to start dripping from the gag he’d placed in his mouth. Maybe he should use leather next time, or perhaps a soft velvet. He’d need to think about it carefully, he wouldn’t want Beel to ruin whatever it would be. Perhaps he could find something metallic.

Barbatos continued to paint on him, trailing his finger along his toned abdomen and down to his waistband. The entire time Beelzebub watched him, desperately chewing on the gag in his mouth. If the threads started to snap, Barbatos would have no choice but to punish him.

“Now these simply won’t do,” he said, snapping the waistband of his boxers against his skin, “They must go, they simply can’t stay.”

No sooner had he started shimmying his pants down, did the demon’s large cock spring forward. He was ready, and eager and Barbatos was having fun with him. He placed a generous pile and top of the beast, and watched with delight as little bits slid down the underside. Perfect, now he was ready. 

“I bet you’d love to taste this wouldn’t you?” he waited for the muffled response and then continued, “But I have to have my turn first. It would be terrible if I didn’t try it first just to make sure that it’s up to standard. I couldn’t possibly have a guest consume something of poor quality.”

What type of butler would he be if he did?

He made sure there wasn’t a trace of cream left behind before he moved on to the next one, giving it the exact same treatment. With every flick and maneuver of his skilled tongue, Beel groaned about him. Despite the gag still situated firmly in his mouth, his noises were almost crystal clear. His eyes were lidded and a blush crept across his face. 

The trail continued to be followed with little kisses and playful licks before Barbatos finally came to his cock.  The journey was borderline torture for the massive demon he had at his mercy, and Barbatos was going to make it last. 

He stared at his prize for a moment. It never once crossed his mind if he’d be able to take it all on his mouth, he knew he’d be able to. A soft whimper reached his ears from behind Beel’s gag, and that was what made him decide he should be kind. He’d put the poor thing through enough. He’d been gagged and unable to taste him or the sweet little treat he’d made. He deserved a little release for being such a good boy. 

He put his hands on Beel’s thighs and, without a second thought, took him into his mouth. He sucked on his tip for a while, making sure to get every ounce of his meringue  before working his way down. He could feel Beel attempting in vain to thrust up into his mouth as he made his way to the base. Once he did so, he worked his way back up again and  replaced the meringue he’d removed. The mix of salty and sweet was heavy on his tongue as he worked. Above him,  Beel was grunting and groaning, biting down hard on the gag in his mouth. He had no ounce of composure left in his body and Barbatos loved the feeling of him coming undone. 

He knew that Beel would not last much longer and that was perfectly fine with him. He had made his way all the way back down to the bottom of his cock when he came. The saltiness of his cum mixed in an interesting way with the sweetness of the meringue, it was also slightly heavier as well but only by a hair. He slowly pulled off of Beel’s cock, licking the rest of his concoction as he made his way back up. He gave the head one last suck before taking a napkin and wiping his lips off.

He hooked his finger under the moist gag and grinned, “Would you like that?”

Beel nodded eagerly.

No sooner did he remove the gag did Beelzebub make a move to devour him. Their mouths clashed together. Beel’s tongue was exploring every corner of his mouth now that he was finally free of his confines. 

Barbatos couldn’t help but smile.

There was nothing like a little restraint when it came to enjoying a wonderful treat.

Y'all know I love Afterglow by @bibblelevi so very much and it’s my top favorite modern au rn and I’m a whore for Sar’s writing. Sub!Levi yes but also the idea of just taking care of that man in general. Fem dom pieces were so hard to find for so long (at least in my experience on ao3) and I feel like Sar has been instrumental in contributing to fem dom writing when it comes to Levi. 

One So True and Percolate by @heich0e are wonderful, OST Levi with his lil jumpsuit and smudged cheek..crying thinking about it. And Percolates realism gives this perfect sting of comedy, romance, and angst that makes me feel something. Also it’s hard to find college aus where Levi is in college with you so it’s a nice refreshing concept to see!

Untitled (Ash Over Envy) by @icecreamranwich is another fave, has a bit of Eren x Reader too which I love but ahhh the characterizations are so wonderful and it’s written beautifully. Emotional, amazing choice of language and the way the story is set up is very enticing.

The Silent Sounds of Shackled Hearts by SilentSymphonies on ao3 is inspired by Howls Moving Castle. Also A Ballad of Broken Wings by the same author is a really fascinating Detective au and the mystery of it is a very fun (if not emotional) read. These are both on Ao3.

I also want to catch up on @lacheri‘s Moon River, I started it and Cherry writes very beautifully, it’s emotional and I feel for the reader. Also Levi speaking French?! Hello?!!? I’m barking. (Plus the title is so pretty sounding)

Just Like Heaven by @pondering-apollo is another read I enjoyed and I realized it was one of the  first modern au fics I read last year?! Crazy. Also musician Levi...yes please!!

Squiggles Ranks the Chain

It's time to rank the chain.

I don't know why I did this. I really don't. It was hard. I love them all. And my favorites in general don't align with my favorites to write and this list is changing every day but here it is anyway. I've told a few people I was going to do this eventually, so here it is. The List. Go ahead, come at me. But do so understanding that I love them all dearly. But, I love some just a little bit more than others. 9: Time. Oh, Time. My guy. The old man. The tired Old Guy surrounded by youngin's. I relate to him in my soul. I love him, I want to hug him, I wish him all good things al the time. I love his dynamic with The Boys, his entire thing with Malon, all of it. But somebody had to be last. And at the end of the day, it's Time. Although my least favorite Link still occupies a bigger piece of my mind than any other fictional character ever, so there's that.

8: Twilight. Twi. My Brother In Y'all. My lil country wolf boy who I love so much. I wanted to put him higher; it was a struggle. Maybe it's because he's been dying for a year and we haven't gotten as much content to love him for; I dunno. Either way, somebody had to be number eight. I'm sorry my lovely Wolfie.

7: Legend. What a legend. (Hah, couldn't resist). I hated him for a long time. Yes, I was projecting my frustration with ALttP onto the poor guy, but still. I was stuck in the game when I started reading still am but that's not the point, and then there he was. And I was just 'ah no. It's him'. And then he seemed like a jerk, and I was just like: 'figures'. And then??? Whoooo boy this guy can fit so much character development into him! He's so sweet. He's so soft. He took me out in Sunset 13 with his lil face.

6: Hyrule. The fluffy lil dude. He's like a human puppy he's stinkin' adorable. He's my Swiss Army Knife when I'm writing; my guy has a tool for every occasion. He's just so soft and sweet and has magic hands??? Very cool. I don't have a lot of coherent thoughts to say about him but I love him very much.

5: Wild. Ah, Wild. The man I thought would be my blorbo. BotW has my heart, and naturally, I thought he would do. And he does! He's a little chaos gremlin. He's also Dramatic and I love him for that. I have so much fun writing him because literally anything goes and somebody out there will be like 'yeah. Classic Wild'. What can I say that hasn't already been said about this controversial lil guy everyone seems to either love or hate? What a maniac. Respect.

4: Warriors. I didn't have a whole lot of feelings about him before I started writing, ngl. Hadn't played HW, didn't really know who he was, all that jazz. And then I started digging in and oh my gosh I can't go two stories without beating him up I love him so much. He's my go-to projectee. I love to hurt him and look at him and I love the dynamic he has with everyone. He is Very Cool.

3: Four. He's just the whole package. A nice lil mashup of someone who has never done anything wrong in his life ever, and someone who has definitely killed someone with his bare hands. Not to mention he is Smol. Like lookit him it's almost like he could be a backpack (shamelessly references my own absolutely unhinged story). And? And??? He's chronically miserable I just wanna give him a hug.

2: Sky. I just love him. He's sweet, he's squishy, and he's just so darn relatable. Standing there. Left in the dust, because running is hard. Just chillin', watching the world pass by from whatever random spot he's chosen to exist in. It's like looking in a mirror. He just loves his brothers and wants them to be okay and he's just wonderful.

1: Wind. I know many of you probably didn't see this coming. I hope you braced yourselves for the surprise. Number one, Blorbo Prime, my number one scrunkle, The Windy Boy. Where to even start? He's just an absolute terror, hacking up the bad guys with the big boys. And his lil face? It's so smooshable. He is babey and menace all wrapped up in one. The child that I wrap safely in my trench coat until it's time to torture him again. He lives on a pottery wheel in my mind, spinning around at unimaginable speeds. The blorbo ever.

He loves the way you love. The way you treat your friends and family and how you express your feelings, he thinks it’s unique.

Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

Leo is an expert at rambling, he’ll talk for hours and hours if you need a distraction, if you need a break from life he’ll take you to one of his hiding spots and will let you stay there just chilling, maybe brushing your hair gently while you breath in and put your thoughts in order.

Honestly, he still has a bit of trouble picturing a future, but not because he doesn’t want you in it! It’s just demigod life, you know? He prefers living in the present, and either way, time goes by so fast when you’re having fun…

I think it depends on the day. If Leo’s too distracted with a project to eat or to make plans with you, you’ll take the lead. But it’s usually a shared thing, he loves planning your outings and dates and you love making proper schedules so you can attend your duties and still have enough time to hang out together. It’s about equals <3

Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

Leo is the kind of person to walk away when he knows he’s wrong and that pisses you off, but he comes around eventually and apologizes properly. When it’s you the one who messed up, he really isn’t good keeping score about that stuff, his brain is always running so he usually forgets about your fights and treats you like nothing happened. You apologize anyway, even if he tells you it’s no big deal.

Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Leo is grateful even for the things he shouldn’t be lmaoo He just feels like having you in his life is enough to thank you every day.

Sometimes he has a hard time talking about his bad feelings on the spot, but he eventually gathers the courage to talk to you about it. You have to be patient though, sometimes he won’t mention it until it’s been a month or so.

Hey guys! I'm back with more cats! xD Been back on a bit of a Warriors swing the past week, so I whipped something new up. Thought it'd be fun to stretch the ol' creative muscles a bit. Don't worry, there'll still be plenty of Fnaf content coming y'alls way very soon.~ ;3 But for now, here are some more Warrior OCs! Wolfdusk (big dark gray tabby), Plumwind (blue-gray she-cat) and their son, Stormpaw! :D Not a happy family moment though, unfortunately. Wolfdusk is a former rogue who turned for the better and eventually settled down with lovely miss Plumwind. They had two kits; Stormkit and Pearlkit. Pearlkit got curious about Wolfdusk's former life when the rogues he'd been travelling with re-emerged. Wolfdusk warned her, time and time again, that it wasn't safe to go after them, but she didn't listen. After she and her brother were apprenticed, she left the Clan to chase after the rogues. Wolfdusk was obviously devastated by this, as were Plumwind and Stormpaw. So he turned his sights to his only remaining son, pushing him to be a great Warrior even harder! But unfortunately, Stormpaw didn't really want to be a Warrior. In truth, he wanted to be a Medicine Cat. Wolfdusk, already blind with grief and anguish, disowns his son, despite the desperate pleas of his mate. ;; She begged for him not to, knowing that Stormpaw needed his parents now more then ever, but Wolfdusk made up his mind. Truly the loss of his daughter broke him. ;; And poor Stormpaw got caught up in his father's grief-stricken anger. But yeah! I actually really like this backstory for Stormpaw, even if it's pretty devastating :"D And I hope you guys like this too! It's been a long time since I've attempted to draw a forest, and I think it came out alright! ^^ But let me know what y'all think. And whether or not you'd like to see more of this lil broken family, or just more Warrior Cats content in general, in the future! Uh, hi? I'm sorry if I'm sending a ton of asks. I accidentally sent an unfinished one and didn't know there was a character limit?? Like I typed a lot on one and it never had a limit so I'm not sure if it's like a mobile vs desktop thing? I'm really bad at Tumblr lol. Uh anyway, my interests are almost entirely dnd and art. I mostly run games for my friends and do world building or plot stuff. When I actually play I always struggle between wanting to play something useful but then get upset when I get brushed off as "not a damage dealer" like yeah I can heal you 30 HP with a 1st level spell but I'm doing 4d8 minimum damage a round. I know basically every ability in the game and usualy use that understanding to work around my allies and make it so they can work as effectively as possible. But I feel like helping them be the best they can be takes away from me and makes it look like I'm not actually contrabuting? Like noticing that I'm the reason y'all are attacking more often would be cool. When I do play damage dealers I have a lot of fun at first bit get annoyed at their lack of non combative abilitys and uses. I'm a very talkative player and like to poke and prod everything and try to advance the plot or keep people on track. I tend to absorb as much information as I can about topics that interest me or just ammuse me so I can spout off that information at random or help people apply that information to whatever (like me the DM, telling my players how to make their characters even stronger without realizing I have to deal with them) I really enjoy art and I dabble in photography? I think my abilitys with photography are more of a natural inclination towards taking good photos more than actually knowing anything about photography? I was one of my photo teachers favorites even though I just winged everything and pretended I knew what I was doing. I do that a lot. Acting like I know what I'm doing just because it makes things easier when I have to put up with other people involving it. I'm a big fan of cryptids and I've been meaning to just do a deep dive and learn every tidbit I can but I haven't yet. Estheticaly I'm very drawn to crowns. I just adore them for some reason and I always have. When I took my friends senior photos he payed me by taking me to spirit Halloween and buying me a crown. I joke about it being my thinking crown and like to wear it while I work. A reoccurring thing that pops up in my life is bees? They're just a part of my personality at this point. I love those lil guys (did you know they can smell fear and do math?) Something I just remembered about myself is that I'm capable of beliving two entirely contradictory things. Like tarot? It's nonsense. But also it's literally never been wrong so I guess it's not? Same with how I feel guilty taking on any "main character" role in games but constantly joke about being all powerful and a being a book or cartoon character that I'm pretty sure I'm slowly trucking myself into genuinely seeing myself as a powerful entity. I'm really good at noticing patterns in the way people act and why they act the way they do and most of the time I just use that knowledge to "win" debates or whatever they just try to argue towards me. By win I mean I just intentionally misconstrued what they're saying to annoy them until they leave me alone (like "fuck you!" "No thanks I'm not interested") a lot of what I do is motivated by how funny I think I would be. Like tricking myself into kinning vriska? Hilarious. Getting into Homestuck so I can annoy my friends with useless trivia? Wonderful. Making my super friendly flower cleric and nicest character I've ever made also a raging anarchist and overthrowing two governments and killing a god through the power of friendship? God tier funny (in my eyes). I do a lot of things just so I can have a story to tell later (like killing the god) uh I think I've rambled for a while so I'm just gonna send this?

No worries about all the asks! I just want to say in advance that I really hope I don't confuse you further, but here's what I can figure out based on the information you've given me:

Your aspect is definitely Light. This is the clearest I've ever been able to determine someone's aspect so I don't think you need to doubt that. So much about Light is important to you - information/knowledge, your approach to stories, your focus on roles in reality (even if it’s fictional dnd reality). 

However, I don’t think you’re a Rogue. The classes I suggest you consider are Maid, Witch and Knight.

Maid might describe your relationship to wanting to be acknowledged as a contributor, but often being ignored. It would also explain why you constantly create Light for others, but desire to sometimes take on those roles yourself. You also appear to create situations for yourself to then create Light in the form of stories, as well as creating Light through plot/worldbuilding.

Witch is an option as you do sometimes appear to manipulate Light - intentionally misconstruing what people say, slowly changing reality by doing things because they’re funny, and using your knowledge to change things for your teammates. Poking and prodding at the plot is a very Witch-like trait. Witches also tend to be confident with their aspect. 

Finally, Knight might explain why you think you’re redistributing Light - perhaps you’re serving it instead. You do tend to use Light as both a weapon and to protect others when playing dnd. Joking about being a powerful entity and pretending you know how to do photography are both very Knight-like traits. However, Knights tend to only pretend to be confident in their aspect which might not suit you if you truly are confident with Light. 

I know I just gave you three new classes to consider! Probably not very helpful, sorry. Though with your own knowledge of classpects, you might be able to easily dismiss some of these yourself. Of course, my general advice is which do you feel you do more often - create, change or serve? Maybe there’s particular roles in dnd that you’re drawn to which would line up with one of these. 

Well, I really hope I’ve helped somewhat rather than confusing you more, but feel free to keep sending me asks if you need help narrowing it down. I’m sure you’ll figure out your classpect though, don’t worry. ^^

these two, like I said, mean the world to me. They are beings from another dimension. This dimension is know as Euphasia (You-fae-shuh) and it has these demon like creature. No, they're not demons they are a species that I made a little while ago called Euphs. (you-fs) I will be explaining more (hopefully) in the near future.

Annabelle is the more chaotic one while Eliot is just the lazy one. They're considered Irish twins since they were born on different month's

Isadora Lance

she's a lil ghost girl, she was previously supposed to be this voice that people head and had the ability to mimic someone else's voice, but I scrapped that idea a while back, so now she's a ghost!!

Blake is a wendigo, being about to shift to human form at will. He is destructive when he wants to be. He and Anna were together for a little while, but it didn't work out. He has an older sister named Hannah

Another being from Euphasia. Very little is known about her. She tends to keep herself isolated and to herself in general. Her species is known as an Alph. She has no other family, unfortunately.

Dhara, also known as Dee, is a hunter/warrior like individual. She, herself, is also an Alph, like Sal. She is most known by the King and Qween of Euphasia, standing by their side when necessary.

Clara Wilson

No, she is not related to Blake, for starters. Clara is, YET ANOTHER, being from Euphasia. She is one of the more dangerous ones. She is one with The Dark Ones. The Dark Ones are these shadowy-like figures. They only come out at night.

Orchid Arwen

She is the only one of her species, a Whispering Fairy. Like Sal, not much is known about her. She hides herself from civilization on most days.

Jason Wellerman

One of the most chaotic demons in all of Hell. He an honoree individual, very very rude at all times. He has three other siblings, a twin sister, Luna, an older sister, Abby, and and older brother, David.

Wysteria Flynn

Fairy baby, fairy baby!! Wysteria is a fairy. A nice fairy. She's best friends with Anna. She has green cat like eyes and short brown hair. She has no other siblings

OK!! Now that I have all my OCs out of the way, most of you may be wondering.

Dear Gremlin, what is the magical fantasy land known as Euphasia? Well Euphasia is a land, mostly consisting of floating islands. It's broken up into multiple territories. The Euphs have their own territory while the Alphs have their own territory. And the Light-bringer travel from territory to territory along with The Dark Ones.

There are four guardians, elemental guardians. The Air, Fire, Earth, and Water guardians. There is also a goddess like being who is most commonly known as Ivolyn. (eye-vo-lynn)

I haven't actually looked all into the Guardians that much, so when I do so, I will immediately be putting it in the pinned post!!

Favorites:

Stiles Stillinski(but especially Void):

Ohhh Stiles. Dylan O'Brien is still my favorite actor of all time to this day for this role. The one actor I follow and watch every movie he's in. What a genius. I'm serious.

His body language? Spot on. Expressions? Memorable as heck. Line delivery? Amazing. Acting ability? Astronomical.

Normal Stiles already had such a fucking RANGE; from sarcastic and funny to depressed to excitable to hateful. Ugh. Brilliant. And then Void came in and it was like something in him literally snapped. I've still never seen anything like it. He looks so...so at home in his role as Void. Part of what makes him unnerving as shit in my opinion.

Truly masterful.

...and yet another one to owe my fear kink to after Scream and Billy Loomis. Blame him for Void being in Tainting Purity. Important to note that although his name is Void and he uses Dylan O'Brien as a face claim he actually isn't the one from the show. He's still his own character. I just...had to use Dylan because he was so perfect. 😅

Allison Argent:

I made the tough decision to replace Aidens spot on this list with my girl. She's...so me it hurts. Her monologue about not wanting to weak is still something I'll go watch when I feel lost. All the female characters of this show helped shape a lil piece of who I am but she had the biggest relatability at first and damn did it stick. Right to the very end. 😭

Issac Lahey:

So...Issac was a BIG self comfort for me. Nearly every character in this show can and is that for me but him especially shhh. Isaac's story deeply touched me with his father. I went through some stuff as you guys may have seen earlier today although not physical or half as intense as Issacs. It still served as this reminder that I wasn't alone.

And seeing him develop connections, slowly open up, fight through his trauma to create HIS family?

Damn. That shit got me.

Also; I may have been desperate to be ler'd and/or absolutely reamed by him and Aiden since that one scene in the track field. Curse my love of Bully/Bullied but sign me tf up- give me a protective, friend Issac which Aiden picks up on and then wants her for himself. Competition endues until eventual threesome at Readers behest.

Least Favorite(This kinda turned into a second fave list whoops-)

Little note that I find something to like in nearly every character so even the people here have good in some regard!

Ah Gerard. There from the beginning there to the end. What a crafty son of a gun...lucky for us Scott was craftier and had his friends to back him up hn?

His first use with the Kanima was probably my favorite but he was just...so evil ugh. And not in the good way. It was between him and Monroe and he won out since he was around so much longer.

Peter:

...Peter is that guy everyone hates to love but does anyway XD. His dry sarcasm and banter with Stiles are iconic- BUT his morals are grey as shitttttt. And he's selfish as Hell. Which I mean, fair. But still.

Theo:

Okay I needed to get my evil sadist baby on the list somehow okay-!? I fear him and I love that he makes me scared and feeds my filthy fear kink gonna be honest. Was in love from the very first twist scene with his "parents". Need to be wrecked by him and Void yesterday!

...maybe I have a lil bit of a villain threesome need with this show whoops 🤷‍♀️

Honorable mention to Ducalion because Gideon Emery is another fave of mine(him, Cody(Theo) and Tyler(Derek) actually just worked together on FF7 remake fun fact. I screamed and was so proud they all killed it!) And his ark was AMAZING. That ending with Scott? PLEASE.

Same to Ethan, and more begrudgingly Jackson. Didn't really earn it thanks to the lack of screen time but I'll give it to 'im cause of Ethan and that iconic scene from the last season as well as their chemistry.

Let's see...oh Derek and Lydia of course. Scott as well as Melissa. Gods, Chris too...too many good characters like I said 🤣.

...Also Danny. My baby boy deserved better. Much as I loved my 2nd gay baby Corey Danny was the OG and we never got any explanation for why he knew about supes. I headcanon that he's a Seer personally!

The characters

Damien Haas

16, sophomore in high school. Hardcore musical theater kid from grades 4-8. Loves to sing and shit. Got quite a few bigger roles early on. Things got busy freshman year, so he had to put things on hold.

(Favorite musical is probably falsettos or something idk I'm not a theater kid.)

(That's a lie, I'm just a bad theater kid XP)

Fucking loves superhero movies and shit because haha irony.

Favorite class is Drama, least favorite is math. Because math is hard and temporary but Shakespeare is forever.

Has an irrational fear of doctors, dentists, and needles due to some surgical mishaps that occurred when he was young. Also has a fear of the ocean.

Deals with anxiety and frequent panic attacks.

15, sophomore in high school. Really fucking loves football, but not on the team. He wanted to be, but he use to be friends with some of the people on the football team. And they... weren't the best to say the least. They were bad influences and caused Shayne to do bad things. He's no longer friends with them, but still goes to the games with Courtney and Damien to cheer on Courtny's brothers who are on the team.

Favorite class is probably woodworking, least favorite is math. Because math is hard and temporary but birdhouses are forever.

(Though he's actually really good at math, like he has the capability to take honors and do well. It just isn't fun.)

Doesn't know how to ride a bike and can't swim. Deep water freaks him out.

Has a huge fear of hurting other (because haha irony) and always puts his friends before himself.

Courtney Miller

14, freshman in high school. Loves writing and art. Has a lot of sketchbooks, but most of them are half filled. At this point she just collects cool sketchbooks.

Also love film/acting/drama but has a lot of anxiety around performing, so she ends up being on her school's tech crew. She's really good at editing, and has a passion for behind the scenes work around productions.

Favorite musical is Heathers.

Favorite class is her painting and art history class, least favorite is math. Because math is hard and temporary but art is forever.

Struggls a lot with school. Doesn't have many friends outside of Shayne and Damien, even when it comes to her tech crew. Generally on bad terms with "friends" (bullies) from middle school.

Doesn't enjoy the other people in her class. A few of them are former (or current) bullies from middle school.

Relationships

Damien and Shayne

Met in the first grade, became friends in a very first-grader-like manner.

Shayne: Hey I like your pokemon shirt

Damien: Oh thanks, you wanna play with trucks?

Shayne: Yeah sure.

They’ve been best friends ever since.

They had a bit of a falling out from mid 7th through 8th grade because of the guys Shayne hung out with. They were your average middle school douchbags but a lil worse.

Things got sorted the summer following 8th grade.

When they started high school, Shayne’s older brother would pick Damien up and give him a ride to school every morning; even though Damien was in walking distance.

But a month-ish before their freshman year, Shayne’s family ended up moving closer to Damien’s, because a tree fell through Shayne’s house during a terrible storm that hit their town. Even though it hypothetically could've been fixed, the house was old so they took it as a sign to just move.

Shayne is the only person who knows about Damien's anxiety outside of his family, and is who Damien goes to when he's having heighted anxiety or a panic attack.

They also bond over their fear of water strangly often.

Shayne and Courtney

Courtney’s family moved across the street from Shayne’s family when Courtney was in the 7th grade and Shayne was in the 8th. And after the initial family intoductions when the Millers first moved in, Shayne never talked to Courtney. Until about a month later, when he was home alone and Courtney knocked at his door.

After Shayne asked 'what's up?' Courtney asked if they could be friends.

“Do you know how to play smash?” Shayne asked.

Courtney sighed and let out a defeated ‘no’ and began walking away from the door.

“Ok, I’m gonna teach you how to play.”

They would hang out quite a bit until Shayne moved, but they still talked a lot.

Shayne later found out that Courtney would go door to door asking for friends. Shayne was the first and only person who had actually said yes.

Most people mistake them for siblings and when they find out they aren’t related, they assume they’re dating.

Shayne treats Courtney like a little sister and is very protective of her.

Shayne was fucking LIVID when he found out Courtney was being bullied. As much as he wanted to fight them, Courtney talked him down from doing so.

He still did the whole 'don't fuck with Courtney or I will fucking kill you' big brother thing. It did the trick for a while. When you're a very athletic 15 year old, it's easy to intimidate people that are younger than you.

Courtney hasn't told him about... the current bullies though.

Courtney and Damien

Met through Shayne. He made a group chat with the 3 of them that Shayne named “Operation Friendship”. Since Shayne and Damien weren't on speaking terms when Shayne and Courtney became friends they never had a chance to meet.

But they didn’t meet in person until Courtney’s first day of high school, where the 3 of them had their first class together, conveniently...

Anytime they play video games, a conversation along this happens.

"Courtney where did you learn to play this game?"

"...Shayne"

"Explains why you suck"

"HEY!"

Hey! Thank you so much for reading! It's been awhile hasn't it. Yeah, I'm sorry. My life has been all over the place for the past few months and I've been struggling to find the motivation to write. I don't want to specifics because it's not only very personal, but a long story.

But to summerize why I sorta dissapeared, I had a lot of personal issues going on with both school and home and as my mental health was on this steady, but consistent, decline, it was at its very lowest in December. My home issues had reached their peak, and with the end of the quarter coming up after Xmas break and my weeks worth of late work coming back to bite me, I was too stressed to work on anything I found enjoyable without losing motivation immidiently.

Things didn't start getting better for me until some time early in semester 2 of my year. My school was transitioning back into fully in person with covid rates at their lowest in my area and things were finally feeling consistant again, but I was still getting my bearings. School still felt draining, though much less than before, and I didn't have much energy to work on things I was passionate about. I don't think I even made a new document for chapter 6 until mid-ish March.

I'm very nervious about coming back to this story after so long for many reason. First being, although I am feeling better mentally, things feel very off with writing this story. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of passion to write this story and want to see it to completion, I've just had a fluxuating interest in smosh aswell. I enjoy the channel, just not as much as I use to. And my hyperfixation on Smosh was a big drive for me writing the story. Second being that I have so much writers block around the sixth chapter of this story, and I'm worried that as soon as I try to work on it, that block will make me lose my motivation again and I'll put it off for another 6 months.

This "chapter" (idk what else I'd call this) has probably been fully finished in my drafts for about a month now, and I've been putting off posting it because of those listed anxieties, but I really want to continue writing this story so I hope you enjoyed!

Also sorry if this explination was all over the place, I just got my first covid vaccine today and am feeling kinda bleh.
