Hiii!!! GIGS in Space AU Once Again on my mind so heres a quick plot rundown allll put in one post

So Grian, Scar, Impulse, and Skizz are all prisoners in this like,,, dystopian space society. All are imprisoned for different reasons:

- Grian is a vandalist, doing graffiti and setting minor explosions around different government/company sites. When arrested and asked why he does what he does, he claims "it's about the principal"

- Impulse worked as a mechanic for a major company, but an incident resulting in a death and 3 injuries gets wrongfully pinned on him. He still believes that all circumstances surrounding his arrest are just one big misunderstanding. The company, however, doesnt care.

- Skizz is a hacker, and good at it too. He logs into the system of the same company Impulse worked for, and subsequently gets caught red-handed.

- Nobody knows why Scar is arrested. There are many rumors spread around the prison wing that he and Grian are in that Scar is Secretly A Mob Boss for the Con Corp. family. But surely someone so clumsy and silly cant possibly be so powerful, right? thats what Grian thinks, anyways.

So these doofuses have two options.

1. they can serve their sentence rotting in a shitty space prison with Nothing To Do and being forced into manual labor

2. they can get out slightly earlier after enough time spent doing Community Service

They go for the second one, which Happens to be gathering extraterrestrial data for Impulse's old Company (i need a name for it dear god its ridiculous at this point). So after all independently choosing the community service option, they get grouped into a squad of the four of them and get sent out to different semi-abandoned planets to hunt monsters/ghosts/aliens and collect data. What they eventually figure out is that the reason they are given so much freedom with their community service is that they are not intended to survive. They devise an escape plan and on their third mission together, they successfully escape together.

Its important to note that Scar and Grian came from the same cell block, so Grian decides to tell Skizz and Impulse about the mob boss rumors (as a prank, of course), and warns them that Scar Doesn't Like Swearing. basically scaring everyone into facing these cosmic horrors with a PG attitude

So the GIGS escape with a real shitty spacecraft and are on the run from the government (theres no way they're gonna succeed like this) up until they get captured. but not by the government.

They get captured by morally gray, filthy rich, weapons manufacturer Doc. (or his hitman at least, one Geminitay)

Doc explains to the GIGS that he has paid all of their bail fees, and now they must work off their debt to him. as delivery boys.

Doc enlists Gem to look after the GIGS during their deliveries. Gem Does Not Like This but shes not gonna say no to her boss.

Basically the rest of it is a silly stupid sci fi sitcom about funny found family doing goofy delivery missions and learning more about each other along the way.

Oh, and remember those rumors about Scar? Theyre all true. And there are Consequences for his absence in the family....

Heres some extra little character notes:

- While Impulse believes his arrest was a genuine mistake at first, during their second bout of community service, he and skizz discover how little the company actually cares about its employees and Impulse gets real mad that his entire livelihood is a lie and goes ham and wrecks some shit (good for him)

- Gem was taken in by Doc at a very young age, with life-threatening injuries. Doc used his experience with mad sciencery to fix her up with whatever he had on hand, mostly animal parts. now shes a hybrid.

- Gem sees Doc as a father figure, but has No Clue how to express that so from her perspective shes just Really Loyal to her boss and doing nothing more than paying off a life debt.

- Grian has a mycelium infection running up his arm that he keeps secret from everyone else. the first in the group to find out about it is Gem

- Scar uses mobility aids of many varieties, but mostly uses a cane with robotic leg splints on missions

greg’s ggy arc hits harder bc no one would even realize he wasn’t acting like himself, so no one knew to help him. he went to a whole new school, his parents already likely being dead, only knew tony and ellis for like a couple months, and even if he were around ppl that could’ve noticed, mimic’s version of gregory was probably just as convincing as the real one. almost like… coughs… paralleling what happens in ruin, with cassie not realizing he was a fake.

doesnt help that greg only had access to awful therapists who never took him seriously until it was too late… and the fact that he wasnt able to speak up for himself once in the tapes, whether he was controlled or not… like even if we do get new info about his situation, id say greg still had it pretty rough

gregs mind control situation feels so different than vanessas because we truly have no idea how it happened to him initially and how he broke free. for vanessa, it was being at the wrong place at the wrong time and a complete accident. for gregory, we have no clue whether it was the same

and vanessa had to be manipulated to be broken down enough to become vanny, at least initially. theres a lot of insight in the 71 tapes. tape wise though gregory isnt implied to be manipulated, but the one doing the manipulating.

was gregory manipulated to become rab? if vanessa had to be broken down for vanny/glitchtrap to control her then was gregory the same? what would have mimic manipulated with him to get him ready for rab? was he not even manipulated at all and 'the wizards most favored apprentice' is trying to tell us that since hes the favorite his control was doubled down on?? is he just so trapped and forced under because of mimic using all its energy on him that he didnt even need to be? does he get ANY freedom like vanessa does?

its just so clear that vanessa and greg had very different experiences being controlled and glitchtrapped. of course vanny hasnt gotten tons of present-vanny screentime but rab hasnt gotten ANY. most people dont even know he exists. i think something focusing on rab/gregorys end of the control and then something focusing on both rab AND vanny would be the best case scenario

Ill stop being a broken record soon (about sherlock chapter one anyway - im just starting the next game and WILL be blathering about it lol)

If you do want to play a be-sherlock simulator? Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is worth checking out. Or if, like me, you like detective games generally (i recommend Judgement by the way if thats your vibe), id also say pick this up because the freedom to make wrong deductions and decide outcomes is quite the unique choice and its interesting to see. Many detective games can give you a case to solve (and as a story nerd id like to solve them thoroughly and correctly). And they'll hold your hand to some extent because u generally do Need to solve the cases to continue the game. Now, SHCO does to an extent hold your hand, with the typical gameplay tools and by providing eventual paths To Progress the cases in some direction depending on how many clues you find and deductions you put together in the mind palace. But because most of the cases have areas you can be wrong and progress, or pick from multiple viable options to decide what happened, and just the fact you decide the final outcome for that accused... fascinating. It means the case writing is interesting enough you do guess to yourself who did it, and regularly change your guess based on evidence, and theres no obvious BAM for sure guess (in contrast simpler detective shows like some cdramas i love often have easy to guess perpetrators once you learn the writing pattern). When i saw this game's reviews, people seemed mixed on this particular feature of the game. Since it means theres many points where you feel either theres no True perpetrator and the game changes it, or you feel theres no power to determine the Truth.

But i think... partly thats the point. Verner (lol) wont shut up about his opinion of many things possibly mattering more than the truth, and in true frustrating fashion you are JUST as aggravated as Sherlock is by the difficulty in Absolutely being sure of the Truth. And that frustration, and experience, is hammered home in the very final decision of the game: deciding the answer to the main question you started this journey for. You can pick any of the answers. You'll get its own ending. Sherlock will be certain he deduced the truth. Or at least, as certain as you Or him can be... when any 4 of those scenarios might be the truth as far as you can tell. Sherlock's shaken, and maybe he isn't convinced of the truth being certain any more than you are... but he does DECIDE on an answer to live with. He is unsure whats true, but picks one of many possible truths and gives himself closure with it. A very relatable though painful experience pretty much everyone does in life at some point.

And i think thats a big reason they designed so many cases that way. Its not that the game's whole story is unfirm, or the cases stories are inconsequential. No. Its just that the point is in the meaning you take from a world you can never fully completely be sure of, how you pick what to base your life on when you can only be sure of your own reasoning. But no mattwr how much you wish to control life by understanding it, you can never fully understand it, never fully know everything. Ambiguity is part of life and life is impossible to fully control. The cases are like that so you feel like Sherlock, trying desperately to nail down a firm reliable truth to make sense of a messy stressful uncontrollable world.

So like. From a story perspective? The choice serves the game's themes and point well.

From a detective game perspective? Its very fun if ur trying to feel like a detective, to get some stories where you actually turn over your guesses and contemplate and feel you need to really delve in the clues thoughtfully, if u want to draw the best conclusions u can.

Don’t Worry Darling; movie review 

My friend Alex snagged two tickets to an early Don’t Worry Darling screening yesterday. We both had high expectations for two performances: Harry Styles and Florence Pugh. Don’t Worry Darling has had some hype surrounding it recently with high tensions involving the actress and director Olivia Wilde and lead Florence Pugh. Then we have a spitting incident involving Harry Styles and Chris Pine. There was just a lot surrounding the film, both good and bad. But in the end, no publicity is bad publicity. As a matter of fact, I think having so many headlines surrounding the movie makes people who might have had little to no interest in the movie curious about the film. I know a friend said she would be watching the movie because of the Pugh and Wilde situation. But how was the movie overall? 

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the movie, the cast seemed promising enough, and the cinematography looked stunning (and was), but my main concern was the storytelling. In the end, I guess I did have a right to be concerned. The movie wasn’t bad by any means. I think it had so much potential, there were many themes being explored the two main being the nuclear family to freedom. However, as the movie progresses, putting two and two together is very easy. There's nothing wrong with that, as it shows how beautifully the story flows and how well thought out and planned everything was. However, I can’t help but feel there was something else missing, that one last final punch, that last final plot twist. Just as we really reached the climax of the film, everything felt kind of, bland in the end. Not only that, but the movie did nothing but remind me of the movie Get Out. However Get Out was a masterpiece in every aspect. While Don’t worry Darling was missing that extra kick. And if you go on letterbxd you can find many people agreeing with the sentiment. While adding a couple jokes I could’nt help but chuckle at. 

While the suspenseful feeling can feel lost once you out the clues together Pugh however, did an amazing job keeping the audience on edge with her stellar performance. Her performance along with the cinematography as well as the score kept my attention through the last half of the film. 

Much to my friend's dismay, a major complaint I had about the movie was Pugh’s co-lead actor: Harry Styles. I know a lot of people are anticipating this movie because of Harry Styles, and his performance wasn’t the worst. But he definitely pales in comparison to the rest of the cast. I don’t want to say it was expected but there people like Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, and Florence Pugh on the same film, its hard to compete. Maybe it was just a me thing, but I could not take the more intense scenes he was in seriously. Pugh outshining Styles may not be the worst thing to happen however, as her performance kept both the audience and I on the edge of our seats. Along with the eerie score and quick but well thought-out flashbacks made the last stretch of the movie enjoyable. 

Is the movie worth seeing? Well, it’s not a bad movie by any means, theres plenty of good things to say about it. However will it live up to the hype surrounding it? Personally I think Harry Styles fans will definitely help the movie’s numbers in box office sales, as well as having big names attached to it such as Olivia Wilde, Gemma Chan, Chris Pine and Florence Pugh. It is enjoyable and very aesthetically pleasing but there is also a sense of disappointment with the movies plot, but hey that very well could just be me. Maybe a second time watching it will change my mind or watching Get Out again would make me like it less, or watching video essay’s on it could make me appreciate it a lot more. I have no real strong feelings towards this movie so its a solid ⅗ for me.

Oh no what have you done???? what have you started???????

Okay okay so, I’ll start with some context clues I’ve picked up that can technically be considered headcanons.

-Milo and Piers were probably childhood friends by the fact even after piers retires they are doing an exhibition match together.

-Piers calls himself “a real friend” when referring to Sonia.

-Piers doesn’t really seem to know Leon all that well by the fact he calls him by “the champion.” Theres another quote that I’m not quite sure where I remember it from where Piers says “I don’t know him that well, but the champions probably lost right now.”

-Piers seemingly only met Raihan during the first match in the league finals. Raihan doesn’t seem to have fought him before by the surprise he expresses by telling Piers he’s good at battling.

-Piers gets embarrassed when Nessa calls him “odd.” I choose to believe that’s because he respects her and doesn’t know how to react to a prep, jock, super model telling him he’s odd.

-I believe Opal was more of an influence on Piers when he was younger. They seem to know each other enough to team up in the star tournament. Plus, Piers has a strong value for manners and courtesies that Opal seems to share. (She probably taught him that little bow he does sometimes)

-Piers never mentions having a rival when he first started the league. Marnie ends up having multiple.

Alright enough about Piers and other people here’s some more individual stuff.

-Piers is a really understanding and none judgmental dude. Unless you’re rude, but he’ll usually say something. It’s an impulse.

-Piers will have random Nerf battles with his sister. He did it while Hop was around once and they went into all out war mode as Hop watched like— “W-what??” Hope eventually started doing it with them. Which spread to Gloria, Victor, and Allister.

-anybody like Raihan and Leon try to get into it and Piers just glares with murder in his mind. Nerf battles are for family only. Yes, he sees the kids as a part of his family.

-speaking of which, Piers is basically the adoption papers meme. He likes you enough? You’re fam. Milo, Sonia, a few members of team yell. He latches onto people very quickly.

-sometimes he ends up regretting it but he honestly can’t help it. Piers has intense separation anxiety and abandonment issues.

-which has gotten him into some manipulative relationships in the past.

-Piers has had some panic attacks when Marnie let’s go of his hand in a crowd or she comes home a few minutes late.

-Which strings into his issue with crying easily. The concept of anything bad happening to people he cares about or Pokémon; He’s running off to find some place safe to cry.

-Piers very rarely gets upset in actually bad situations. In an emergency he’s stoic and the calmest person there. Very no nonsense, get shit done so everyone’s safe.

-Then he’ll turn around and cry ‘cause he stepped on one of his Ziggys tails.

-overall a lot of people don’t really get to see the softer, happier side of him. Especially in the league. To him it’s all business, like a dead end job he doesn’t really want to be part of.

-that tends to be why he looks so tired and out of it. He’s already on thin ice by just existing in the league. If it were up to Rose, he would’ve never made it to the finals when he was a kid.

-Rose just makes his life a living hell. Piers can’t keep his piercings in or wear more comfortable clothes ‘cause he can’t not be in uniform.

-Pretty much the only things that are his own clothes is the crop jacket, the boots, and the pokeball chain.

-With his own freedom to dress how he wants Piers would be changing his look everyday. (Except the ponytail)

-new jacket, different boots, pants besides those (very unflattering) shorts.

-you can imagine how crazy he went with the accessories when he was retired.

I got off track, back to Piers’ personality outside the league.

-Piers is honestly just a big child. Spencer from icarly vibes.

-Marnie has walked in to him standing on the counter and just screaming back and forth with his obstagoon. They were asserting dominance.

-*Piers standing in the doorway with a grovery cart filled with stolen Rose posters, macro cosmos advertisements, and even a part of a billboard.* Marnie: “um... whatcha got there?” Piers: “A smoothie.”

-Piers has a whole lot of energy. You catch Piers In his element and Marnie looks like the mature one despite her age.

-Marnie does like being feral with him, but she’s much calmer and gets tired more often.

-Piers doesn’t drink alcohol. If he’s at a party he’ll drink an extremely diluted fruity beverage and then chug water. He doesn’t trust himself enough to have more than one soft drink. He already had a problem with cigarettes in the past.

WARNING! SPOILER ALERT! LOKI EP4 + AGENT OF ASGARD COMICS!

About (Self)Love and Narration

So, a lot of things happened in Ep. 4 and it got me thinking about the topics of narration and (self) acceptance/love in this show. After a healthy amount of deliberation I‘ll even dare to theorize about how this season will progress. Just hear me out.

First of all I think we have to view the events of the sacred timeline as a literal narration. Loki as a character in this narration has a single (not so glorious, heh XD) purpose. He‘s a mere plot device, the villain, designed to move the plot forward and help build and develop others characters. Mobius, who takes on the role of the observer, says so himself in Ep. 1!

„You weren‘t born to be king Loki. You were born to cause pain, and suffering and death. That‘s how it was, that‘s how it will be. All so that others can achieve their best version of themselves.“-Mobius Ep.1

It‘s important that this comes from Mobius, someone who has not only studied the life of „our“ Loki but has seen the stories of many other Loki variants pan out. And the common denominator seems to be Loki‘s repeated failure which leads to him becoming the villain of the story.

And of course, once "our" Loki quite literally leaves the narration (as he escapes via Tesseract and is brought to the TVA, a place seperate from the normal flow of time) and becomes an observer of his own story (in the time theater, Episode 1), he begrudgingly realizes this as well. As the God of Mischief, he of all people, despises the idea of a single establishment (the TVA) holding so much power over the universe and his own path in life. But at the same time his views on choice and personal freedom at the beginning of Episode 1 aren‘t much different from the TVA‘s… in fact they're eerily similar.

„For nearly every living thing, choice breeds shame, and uncertainty, and regret. Theres a fork in every road, yet the wrong path always taken.“-Loki, Ep.1

He even uses the same exact phrasing when criticizing the TVA‘s motives and later on explaining his own actions:

„It's an illusion. Ist a cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear. A desperate attempt at control.“ -Loki, Ep.1

Fast forward to Episode 4, where we find out that the time keepers are nothing but an illusion. Another interesting parallel, don't you think? So now the big question is of course, who‘s the mastermind behind all this? That‘s where my theory comes into play.

I think the ‚big bad' is none other than Loki himself. And I mean not just any of the many variants we know exist, but a future, alternative version of „our“ Loki. The Loki who still holds onto the believes „our“ Loki exhibited in Ep.1. Someone who lost over and over again, which led him to believe that no matter what choice he made, he was destined to fail. So what did he do to break the vicious circle of choosing and failing in an attempt to regain control? Easy, he simply took away the choice and took the narration of the story into his own hands. And this carefully controlled story is the ‚sacred timeline'. He created the TVA and the time keepers as a guise, so he could remove every Loki variant that didn‘t act according to his script. (This may explain the flock of variant Lokis in the post credit scene of Ep 4)

Another reason why I believe this theory to be true are the parallels between this show and the ‚Agent of Asgard‘ Comics by Al Ewing. In fact Al Ewing and Lee Garbett are even mentioned in the Credits! (Caution! Spoilers for AoA incoming!) The storyline of the comic series is that of a future, „evil“ („“ because, as we know „no one bad is ever truly bad") version of Loki, who, frustrated by his lack of control over his own life, tries to manipulate his younger self into becoming this evil version of himself sooner (and isn't that ironic…and a bit hard to grasp as well). In the end Loki has to reinvent himself by letting go of past grudges in order to free himself from his destiny to turn into the villain of the story once more. By actively changing his present self and becoming the god of stories he is able to change his seemingly set path. In the end it is a story about self love and growth and the understanding that nobody has power over your future but your present self.

And I think what we learn in Episode 4 about self acceptance and self love is massively important in order to predict and understand what comes next in the series. At the beginning of the episode we see Sylvie and Loki on Lamentis, sharing a moment of mutual admiration in the face of seemingly certain death. Three things about this scene I find very interesting.

1. The composition of the scene with Loki and Sylvie sitting next to each other in a mirrored position. This emphasizes that while they may be variants, they still are reflections of one another.

2. The fact that this shared moment creates a massive branch in the sacred timeline. Why does this happen? I think it‘s because Loki shows actual love/ acceptance towards himself (even though it may be through his variant). And that‘s not „supposed to happen“, because the key ingredient for „our“ Loki to turn into the „evil narrator Loki", is a whole lot of self-loathing.

3. Loki‘s quote about surviving no matter how bad the loss. Which is an important bit of character development in itself but it’s what he said next („But we don‘t die“) that got me thinking. And I consider this to be one of the most important clues regarding my speculation. Loki has „died“ dozens of times during MCU history but he never stayed dead. Why is that, if he‘s merely a plot device, you ask? Well, I think it‘s because „evil Narrator Loki“, while not allowing „our" Loki to make his own choices, still doesn‘t want to kill himself off. So he simply deus ex machinas his escapes from death time and time again.

Considering all these details from Episode 4 I‘d like to theorize a little bit further about the ending of the show. I think the ‚big bad‘ they will face is future, „evil“ Loki himself. But by then our Loki will have learned to be at ease with himself with the help of the support system he built during the last episodes (Mobius and Sylvie). He no longer needs to keep up the illusion in order to trick himself and others in a desperate struggle for control. Because now he truly values himself enough to have confidence in himself and his choices. Because of this advancement in character his „future“ version will simply cease to exist because the foundation of self-loathing and perceived helplessness are no more. (Yeah it sounds a bit cheesy. I will admit. But it's a nice ending, OK?)

All he’s done with shower you with love and affection, he was stumped I mean you did try and push him away when he attempted to cuddle you but maybe you’re just playing hard to get. You must like him too right? I mean..You were so nice to him and just all around friendly upon first meeting.It was love at first sight! All kinds of thoughts were swirling in his head until he head you shout “Just kill me already!” his thoughts suddenly halted and turned toward you “Kill you?” he grew worried, was he not loving you enough? Why would you ever think he’d want to hurt you? Why would he even want to? “Isn’t that why you brought me here?! For some kind of slow torture?” You whimpered, Mirio felt his heart break “Oh...Sunshine no. I’d never do that! I’d never even think of hurting you.” You squirmed as he picked you up with no effort and sat you two onto the couch “I just wanna protect you! It breaks my heart that you think.But I promise I’ll spend all my free time making you realize how much I love you! I’ll show you my dedication and affection.” 

Let’s just say- if you thought you had little alone time before...You’re basically never alone now,even in the bathroom.

Tamaki x G/N Reader: 

Tamaki didn’t show himself for the first week, he only left you food and drinks when he knew you were asleep -Thanks to the cameras he has set up in your room.- He was honestly to scared to show himself to you. He didn’t realize how freaked out it made you, wondering until whoever kidnapped you was gonna kill you, or do whatever. When he finally got the courage to enter the room...Let’s just say he was expecting a pillow to the head. After his shock of the impact of the pillow -Why you threw the pillow instead of the plate is beyond him.- but before you could even think of throwing the plate he decided to move it out of the way after he had shut and locked the door, before finally turning his attention to you. You were huddled on the corner of the bed away from him, He just sat there..Looking at with an intimidating stare, in his mind trying to work up the courage to talk to you but to you..It felt like torture..So you finally spoke “..I-if you’re gonna kill me..J-just do it!” You yelled covering your head, he froze at the tone of your voice, now he wasn’t planning on kidnapping you, if he was gonna be honest he was planning on confessing...But someone had beat him to it...Did..Did you really think he wanted to kill you? Him knocking you out broke his heart but the thought of killing you? No! He’d never. You’re like his life line. 

It took him a bit before he spoke “I-I...I don’t wanna kill you..” you were staring at him “W-why..Why am I here then...?” your voice was shaky and weak.You obviously were scared, way more than he was, he was gathering his words before he spoke “Because..Because you’re too good for the world..Y-you’re too good for me...But...” he hated talking but he needed to get his words out “But..I love you..And I wanna protect you..I-i know you’re scared and I understand how you may..dislike me..right now.” It broke his heart saying it “But...But I plan on showing you how much I adore you.” He reached out shaky arms dragging you into his chest and wrapping his arms around you, ignoring your squirming with ease, he finally gained the courage to do this and he wasn’t stopping now “i-I just..Love you too much...I’ll take care of you..Don’t worry.”

Tamaki isn’t the smothering type like the other two are but he for sure will if he senses a little sense of doubt.

Nejire x G/N Reader:

Nejire is very similar to Mirio and is a delusional type, although much like Tamaki she does know what she’s doing  is wrong she just..Doesn’t care. She delusional enough to convince herself that she’s doing it for a right cause, She really only acted out in kidnapping you after you had a bad near death experience in which she wasn’t there to protect you. So she did the only thing she could which was kidnap you. You’re her everything. her little star! She just adores you. You don’t know why this pro hero kidnapped you or is acting like you’re lovers. She had no clue of this, until she came home one day to you crying and panicking. After years of knowing Tamaki, she knew how to deal with this. Even though she was technically the cause of it. But with her calming voice and the stroking of your hair, you were finally calm enough for her to talk to you “Sweetheart...What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” Her normally loud and perky self was now calm and filled with worry, you didn’t talk for a long while, almost to a point she thought you had fallen asleep...But then you spoke “J-Just...Just kill me...I can’t..I can’t do this anymore..” Nejire stared at you but held you tighter, she didn’t respond though. She just knew from here on out, she’d make sure you saw how much she needed you here. 

Nejire is a bit like Mirio in reactions but she’s gonna give you space as well..But she’s also gonna be worried about you when she needs to leave you alone. She’ll probably get you hobbies to get into, like drawing and cooking, ofcorse she won’t let you cook alone...But she will do what she can to show her love for you.

Symbiotic in which certain Vampires have a vemon that leaves with victims craving getting their blood drunken. Deceit, one of these Victims, continues to burn bridges because that’s easier than admitting he might need help dealing with this.

fuck it headcanon time (part 2) creepypastas i need to draw more edition (and slendy)

the expressionless absolutely hates everyone but especially jeff. theyre basically best friends but like instead of love and friendliness its hate and dumbass threats. theyre both idiots and very entertaining to watch when they go at it. kind of like kismesi-

slendy isn’t like, in “control” of his two proxies. He did bring Masky and Hoodie into his circle but its more like some weird form of cryptid adoption + oftentimes Masky bosses HIM around. slendy has a 50/50 chance of going with it n seems aloof in front of others about it but he really really cares about his two sons and gets incredibly protective when theyre threatened. Jeffs the only real problem, mostly because Masky purposely antagonizes him, and these encounters usually end with jeff stapled to a tree/wall (thanks slendy)

ticci toby’s there but he’s not really a proxy? not in the way the first two are. Slendy did save him from a house fire on impulse (he’d been one of the people slendy had been watchin at the time) and i guess slendy mustve been interested enough to bring him home. he doesnt do the whole live-in thing masky n hoodie does with slendy tho (they all live in an apartment) (theres only one bedroom and yes, only one bed. slendy will NEVER admit it but theyre a little bit of a cuddler) and he doesn’t really do what the other two proxies get up to together (mild crimes. general hooliganry and a lot of breaking into peoples houses to fuck w people). He’s not really a murderer, either? He’s stupid good at fighting tho and’s great for breaking up fights via full body grappling. he likes the freedom

i don’t got too many on the bloody painter, yet. He’s weak as fuk and his preferred bodyguard is clockwork, but he’s only of the only creepypastas to have a legitimate/legal job AND a totally public-passing look. Sometimes the roudier creepypastas (jeff, lj, ej if he sees someone else doing it) bully him for money but he’s usually glued to Natelies side when visiting the other creepypastas so it’s not too big of a problem. He really, really doesn’t like the visibly nonhuman creepypastas and prefers to stay away from them but clockwork keeps dragging him out.

Clockwork doesnt have a clock eye or jeff smile. She’s got a lazy eye she covers up with an eyepatch or vriska shades but like clock themed. She’s a deep web hitman and the painters roommate. theyre not in a relationship but Natalie makes for good protection and companionship and Helen makes Natalie a whole lot less suspicious. I have absolutely no idea how she got affiliated with the creepypasta circle but it was Deffo clockwork who brought the bloody painter in.

I still have absolutely no idea what I’m gonan do for Judge Angel and Nurse Ann.. I wanna include them more but im not really vibing with their canon at all n i dont gotta clue how i wanna fuck with it yet. there IS however a creepypasta i dearly want to include because protecting children is GOOD called s*icide sadie... maybe she’d live with splendy and the kids or maybe she’d be off in her own place possibly with other child creepypastas i haven’t found yet?? i just wanna make her be a MOM. i bet she’s be a good guardian figure for sally...

“What the hell are you doing?”

Oh, here we go.

“Excuse me?”

Arching an eyebrow, you place your hands on your hips as you turn to the source of the gruff voice.

Chief Jim Hopper looks at you incredulously, his hands also on his hips.

“What. The hell. Are you doing?” he repeats in that slow way that immediately makes you feel like a complete idiot.

Clenching your jaw, you raise your eyebrows. “What does it look like, Chief Hopper?”

“It looks like you’re hangin’ tinsel on the holding cells.”

“Oh, so your eyes do work.”

You turn back to your task, a hint of a smug smirk on your lips as you hear him exhale a long breath. You were always able to push your luck because what could he do? Fire you? Yeah, well, maybe, but on what grounds? Stating the truth?

Just try me, Hopper.

You were always just that little step ahead, and he hated it.

“You can’t hang tinsel on the holding cells.”

“Do please tell me why.”

You can practically hear his teeth grinding together. “That’s where we keep suspected or confirmed criminals. We can’t have it lookin’... Jolly.”

“Yes, we can.” You finish sticking two ends of tinsel together and step down from the chair.

And you leave your response at that.

Turning away from him, you move back to the box of decorations, rummaging through it for the multi-coloured lights you’d seen and fallen in love with earlier. Finding them, horrendously tangled, you thrust them in Hopper’s direction, not looking at him.

“Do something useful and untangle these.”

You hear that deep, irritating sigh of exasperation as he takes them and sits down heavily in the nearest chair, getting to work as he mutters under his breath.

If only he’d known Flo had also picked you to decorate the Station. He would have stayed right the hell away. Maybe even gone across to another state. Taken a whole damn week off so he didn’t have to see or think about you.

What he wouldn’t give for one day of relief.

“Come on, honey, come and dance.”

Smiling widely at Flo, you shake your head, your bell earrings tinkling with the motion. “No, I’m all right, thank you, Flo. Maybe after I’ve had a few more of these.” You raise your cup a little. “Then I’ll be able to dance like, oh, what did our delightful chief call it last year... A newborn foal with roller-skates on.” 

Flo tuts as she moves closer to your side. “Like he can dance any better. Oh, no, I mean, you are a good dancer, honey,” she swiftly continues when you arch an eyebrow. “Oh, you know what I mean. Oh, if only you two would get along, you have so much in common.”

You snort, raising your cup to your lips. “Yeah, well, he should apologise.”

“Can’t you just let it go and shake hands?”

“I’m not that big a person, Flo.”

It had been three years since you’d started. Three years since The Incident. Since... Since he’d... What had he said again... Urgh, you can’t remember the specifics but it was something incredibly patronising and you hadn’t just let it slide and it had snowballed from there and here you are today.

Staring across the office floor at him.

Your skin prickling in that way it always does when he’s near.

Your heart beating just that little bit faster.

Unable to stop staring at him.

“‘nother beer, Chief?”

Hopper lifts his gaze from his nearly empty bottle to the one Powell holds out to him.

“Yeah, thanks.” Setting the one in his hand down on the table, he accepts the fresh bottle, raising it to his lips for a sip. 

Powell stands at his side, gazing out at the cramped dance floor you had somehow made the space for, desks and chairs shoved aside.

“Hey, didn’t she wear that dress at the Thanksgiving party?”

Calvin Powell looks to his chief, then to you, then back to Hopper. “Yeah, I think so. Why?”

“Dunno, just...” Hopper shrugs, lifting the bottle to his lips again as he mumbles, “Make an effort, you know.”

Powell raises his eyebrows. “Says the guy who wears the same shirt to everything.”

“Yeah, but, you know... Women,” Hop finishes weakly, wincing slightly in instant regret.

Powell’s eyebrows rise even higher. “’Women’?”

Apparently relenting to the fact he has to commit to the words that somehow came out of his mouth, Hopper clears his throat and shrugs. “Yeah... Women.”

His officer stares at him. “Uh-huh. Women... Mystifying, aren’t they?”

“Mhm.”

“Annoying when you can’t figure ‘em out, isn’t it?” He watches Hopper stare at you, watching you converse with Flo.

“Mhm.”

“And it’s even more annoying when you wanna go over there, ask ‘em if you can get ‘em a drink and apologise for being a damn idiot all the time.”

“Mhm─” Hopper’s gaze flicks over to him, his eyes narrowing.

Powell shrugs.

Clearing his throat, Hopper opens his mouth, to say what he has no God damn clue, when his eyes find their way back to you and you’re heading into his office.

“What in the hell...” he mutters, irritation swiftly rising within him as he sets his bottle down and strides after you, leaving Powell staring after him.

“How can we have run out of cups already? Hopper was meant─ Well, there we go actually, Hopper was in charge, that’s how we have.” Exhaling a short breath of frustration, you then smile at Flo and pat her shoulder gently as you pass. “I’m gonna go and get some cups.”

Placing your cup down on the nearest desk, you round it and push through the small swing door leading to Hopper’s office. Opening the door, you head inside, not bothering to turn the light on.

Hopper being Hopper, he’d vehemently opposed you using his office as a decoration base but you’d ignored him and stored boxes in there when he hadn’t been looking. Which had actually been easy to do because he never looked. Not that you minded. One bit.

Surveying the array of boxes, you try and remember which ones the cups were in.

Oh, God, where the hell has he put them...

“What are you doing?”

You exhale a low, exasperated sound, opening the nearest box and starting to search through it. “Getting more cups, officer.”

“Did you not put enough out?”

“The drinks table was your jurisdiction, Hopper, it’s the only thing you got excited about. The most excited I’ve ever seen you, actually, I didn’t know it was possible.”

“I get excited about things.”

“Yeah, like what?”

“Knowing you’re not gonna be in.”

You snort.

Wait, what.

You hadn’t been able to help it. You’d snorted. And not a dismissive snort. An amused snort.

And neither of you know what to do.

So you both ignore it.

Clearing your throat and mercifully finding the cups, you pull them out, turn and move to the door, pushing the wrapped stack into Hopper’s hands as you pass him.

You’re so close to the door, so close to freedom and pretending that never happened, when Callahan appears in the doorway.

“Oh, shiiit, look who’s under the mistletoe!” he grins, dangling the fake arrangement above your head.

“Oh, God, never, Phil,” you reply, incredibly grateful for the distraction and trying so hard not to smile.

“Nah, c’mon, you two.”

“‘You tw─”

In taking a step back from Callahan, you meet a hard wall behind you. 

Not a wall.

A Hopper.

The Chief clears his throat. “No, Callahan.”

“Come on, just a lil’ peck.”

“Calla─”

“Smooch, smooch.”

“Phil─“

He raises the mistletoe higher. “I won’t let you pass and I reckon I could take you both on. Get in to the Christmas spirit, guys, c’mon.”

“Christ, fine,” you mutter.

You tilt your head back and lift your chin to kiss Hopper on the cheek to just get this over with... but he’s turned his head, too. 

Your lips meet his.

Gently.

Gently? 

God, you thought kissing Hopper would be uncoordinated, he’s a complete mess of a man, frankly, but this is... This is nice, no, wait, anyway, you don’t spend a lot of time thinking about kissing him so─

Your lips are still against his. You haven’t pulled back. And neither has he.

He seems to realise it the same moment you do.

Drawing your head back so quickly you almost strain a muscle, you stare at him as he stares at you.

Even Callahan goes quiet for once.

For a few seconds.

“Okay, who’s next!” he calls out as he turns and zones in on the next victim.

You and Hopper are still looking at each other.

Your cheeks feel warm and his mouth is open, like he’s fighting for something to say.

He finds it. “Right.”

“Right.”

“Okay.”

You want to kiss him again.

Oh, God.

Clearing your throat, you nod and turn away, start walking, pause in the doorway, and then clear your throat again.

“Put the cups on the table, Hopper.”

“Yep.”

Lifting your gaze, you find him still looking at you.

Oh, God.

“Okay, so I’ll─”

“Actually...”

You blink, slightly startled that he’s interrupted your attempt to leave this situation he should no doubt be also finding awkward. 

There’s something in his eyes, though, something that you can’t look away from.

“... I remember tellin’ you you couldn’t put all this shit in here.” He drops the stack of cups into a box beside him as he moves towards you, and you don’t move.

Standing before you, looking down at you, he reaches behind you and pushes the door shut.

Suddenly, pressed against him, your head leaning back against the door, you can name what’s lingering in his gaze.

Lust.

And you know he can see it in your eyes, too.

“What are you going to do about it, Chief?”

“Somethin’ I’ve wanted to do for a long time.”

This man was not running the streets, wasn’t a thug or gangster; He was a good man, minding his business sitting on his couch eating ice cream. ( I mean could you think of a more wholesome thing to be doing than innocently sitting on the couch eating a bowl of  ice cream when he met his demise?) I literally can’t. Guyger, 31, was off-duty but still in uniform the night she killed Jean at the South Side Flats just blocks from police headquarters. She said she mistook his apartment for hers and thought he was a burglar.

"If you truly are sorry," Botham's 18-year-old brother, Brandt Jean, told Guyger from the witness stand before walking down and embracing her, "I know I can speak for myself, I forgive you.” How dare you all who are on the outside looking in have the nerve to call Brandt weak because he forgave and even hugged His brother’s murderer Dallas police officer Amber Guyger? You have no clue of what he is dealing with spiritually, emotionally and mentally.  He looked up to his brother and that Botham was his everything.

Theres this indignation that you have, I have, we all have watching the story unfold of Amber Guyger and the detestable things that she said  in text messages and on social media about people of color, murder jokes, and MLK jokes as the trial played out. There’s the anger that comes from yet another black man killed at the hands of a rejected high school nerd turned bitter inept police officer. There’s the anger of feeling hopeless as our people are slaughtered time after time with little to no retribution or justice. Then theres the earth shattering heart obliterating ‘My whole world just got turned upside down’ anger that one could only guess that Brandt is experiencing and has to live with the rest of his life. That type of anger would have crushed him.   "I think giving your life to Christ would be the best thing that Botham would want for you," he told her. "I love you as a person, and I don't wish anything bad on you." Y’all would have him live with that soul crushing life altering anger so that you could feel better about going about your day to day lives when all of this blows over in a few weeks? As soon as Popeye’s gets their buns back and that spicy chicken sandwich makes its comeback, our timeline will change once again with memes and jokes.  Life will resume for everyone else as  the trending topics change, but Brandt’s life will never be the same.   Why put that burden on him? I said it before and I'll say it again. Living in unforgiveness is like drinking a poison and expecting the next person to die.  Amber has to live out the rest of her life in a prison of her own poor decision. Whether she acts like it or not, her job was so deeply engrained as part of her identity that she’s not even going to know what to do with her life when she gets out.  She will have to live out the remainder of her life a convicted felon and police reject.  She will be shunned from job after job and every time a door closes in her face she will be reminded of her decisions.  Thats not enough! true I agree that her sentence should have been more, but the law has been handed down. What could Brandt’s anger do to change that?  Furthermore, he is honoring his brother’s memory in the only way that he knows how, the type of man that Botham was, I don't think he would have wanted or expected his brother to carry that anger around with him.   Now he has to deal with people his own people turning their backs on him, calling him weak, saying all manner of things about him because he made the decision to be the better man.  I don't think I would have had the strength to actually hug Guyger. (God is still working on me). I definitely don't agree that she does not deserve to serve any time. The fact still remains that the choice to forgive Guyger in that moment will shape the type of man he will be and the decisions that he will make.  What he did inspired me and brought me to tears.  So many emotions for this young man.  The anger that you are feeling towards Brandt is totally displaced. He is not the enemy. Know that being angry is the easy choice. Forgiving takes a strength that we all should strive for.  Let this be a lesson to you who have anger in your heart.  What Brandt did was not for Amber, it was for him. It was for his brother’s legacy and it was for you and I to learn a valuable lesson.  Whether or not she felt remorse, what Brandt did was what all believers are called to do. Forgive an offense so that your hearts will not become callus.   Some of you are steeping in your anger and the person that hurt you is just living their lives unbothered. The anger that you feel is literally eating you up inside and you don’t even know it.  You are miserable because you refuse to let go so that you can begin to heal.  Take a page from this young man’s book. I’m into dudes more than girls, and came out as gay to most people when I was sixteen. I had a clue that I was asexual, and clocked into it fairly quickly. I said to my teacher “I like guys, but I don’t want to sleep with them, I just want to be around them.” Since there’s such little representation of asexual people out there, there’s no preconceived notions of how an ace person should look or act. I’ve definitely found a behavioural shift since coming to terms with my identity. I don’t feel the need to be a certain person anymore, it’s freedom, I don’t need to be “that dude” anymore. A lot of my friends are first generation asian immigrants, with close ties to their parents, and hold – or are at least raised with – conservative values which are typically against the idea of queer culture. And I was the same, but now I don’t feel obliged to act accordingly.

Asexuality is jus the lack of sexual urge. For me when it comes to sexuality my brain just… doesnt. There’s this weird disconnect in that I understand that people have sex, and that I could have sex, but I feel like there’s better things to do with someone than have sex. I’ve never been in a relationship, but I’ve also never had that craving. Being ace for me is a freedom, there are no preconceived notions of what ace people are like so no one expects things of me, but theres also no preconceived notions of what ace people are like, so I find myself being unsure of how to be. Am I making a good representation for myself and other asexual people? Am I going to drag our name through the mud? It’s worrying

Even though I’ve been out for five years, I’m still bothered by the pressure to just give up and be all of the straight person things that society wants me to be. And not having much out there representing asexual people means I think I could very easily just fade back into being straight and no one would say anything. It’d be so easy, but it would hurt too much.

I feel very uninvolved with the queer community, aside from my sister, there aren’t many queer people in my social circles, and I’ve never really felt the push to go out in search of them. I’m a very “keep to myself” person, and I feel like my continued existence as a queer person is enough of an involvement in the queer community for me.

I was talking with a friend who acknowledged my asexuality by… we were having this conversation about preferences, ideal partners and such, and he asked me “what sort of person would you like to spend large amounts of time with” and it was nice to have someone acknowledge that I’m not the same as them, but that it isn’t a bad thing. I didn’t say anything at the time, but I messaged them afterwards to let them know how grateful I was that they acknowledged that this was a difference and an actual thing, that it’s not some meme, but an actual, serious part of my life. Having someone acknowledge that this is who I am, and accept this part of my identity is a nice thing to have. It’s not super frequent that people validate me like that, so when it does happen, it means a lot.

Without the internet I wouldn’t even know that I was asexual. The internet as of now is already very important, it’s where I met the majority of my queer friends. The best representation I’ve seen of asexuality was in Todd from Bojack Horseman, it was good representation because it was just a part of his overall character rather than his defining trait.

I had a look at it and decided to get a quote just out of interest with a new car. So I selected the nearly new car category and went with the new shaped Renault Clio. You can select to buy the car straight away or get it financed over a period of months with 60 being the longest, I got 150 monthly payment as the average which is just payment for the car. The first years insurance came as 1635, (got all excited and jumping, over - reacting) provided that your parents have a good record they are added to the policy for free.
