#my posts#gameblogging#liveblogging rain world#ive been playing lots of region mods and a lot of them have custom creatures#and played around with all the ones i could in arena mode since theyre all so well made#but there's one in particular#it looks like a centipede and it uses the underhang green shock kinda thing#but the interesting thing is that for once it's a nice centipede#it doesn't hurt passive creatures#except for slugcats and scavs because they will attack /it/#but jetfish and firebugs and lantern mice can walk all over it and it doesnt care#apparently arena behaviours arent always the most accurate#but this is so interesting i love it#def my favourite modded creature

Try not to think about Roomies’ unique quirks in showing affection.
How Etho is bit awkward in showing it but craves physical touch, discovers that forehead touches work for him. And both Cleo and Grian recognise it and put an effort to reciprocate it.
How Grian wants to do things to show his appreciation for his team, it coming out with him bringing trinkets or spending quality time with his loved ones. How both Cleo and Etho accept his need to feel wanted and make sure to always have some physical reminder from their beloved avian.
How Cleo likes to see her boys happy. How sometimes to make it happen, they would manhandle them in the most playful way, with some extra forehead kisses to sweeten the deal.

I want to see characters being taken care of in an explicit and worshipful way. Home-cooked meals. Hair brushed and braided by gentle hands. Little gifts just because.
I want to read about characters who are not used to kindness being bombarded by acts of service. This trope works romantically and platonically. Give me found family and acts of service - all the ways a character is wrapped up in wordless, explicit care after years of cruelty and having no idea how to handle. I need it.
