while byan's dyslexia and ptsd is a little up in the air in terms of diagnosis, they have been given a diagnosis of conduct disorder and oppositional defiant disorder through the mandatory counselling and the various psychiatric evaluations they've had throughout their life. ptsd, adhd, dyslexia, and depression are all assumed to be present as well, based on observation and information provided by teachers, caretakers, and foster parents, but remain unconfirmed due to byan's tendency to be extremely difficult with psychiatrists and psychologists and the inconsistency of the amount of time spent with those who have provided outside observation.
byan has, of course, never been cooperative in any treatment.

Tarot Reading 11
Deck: Naturescapes tarot
Question: What does family mean to me?
Card: The Emperor
Resources used: numinous tarot guidebook, learntarot.com, esoteric meanings website
Tumblr media
I already did half of this and it deleted it =_=
Let’s define the card first.
I’m gonna half ass it this time since I’m annoyed.
Authority, control, fatherhood, law, fire, power, the state, order, structure, systems, sovereignty, aggression/assertiveness, military, rules, boundaries, political power. Organizing nature (empress) to make it more habitable for humans. Discipline?
Family for me is about respecting each other’s boundaries, encouraging independence, defining their identity and agreeing on rules and customs together. It’s order created to face the chaos of life, and it’s about protecting each other and helping each other navigate the chaos and systems we encounter in life.
Numinous tarot guidebook talks about defining the rooms of a house in order to make it functional and easy to navigate and find things. Also building a cabinet and organizing it. And creating systems and plans to ensure longevity.
Learntarot.com talks about “protecting and defending, guiding growth, bringing security and comfort,” authority, structure, and control. Also taps about how rigid things can get if they’re over controlled.
Esoteric meanings talks about responsibility, self sacrifice for the greater good, using life experiences to mentor others, and breaking down problems into manageable chunks to solve them.
I feel like since I went no contact with my dad because of issues I could compare to the emperor reversed (tyranny, anger, aggressiveness, overly controlling and crossing boundaries, etc), the emperor upright is showing me how fatherhood in a healthy way can be present in a family without necessarily needing a male parental guide there. It’s about how we show up to each other and guide each other to be our best selves, build each other’s confidence up, and protect each other while doing so. There can still be a law of the land without a tyrant setting the laws. It can be communally decided.
I think that’s good for now. It was an alright reading.
edit: I get why a mountain was chosen for the Emperor, but also I can’t verbalize it. I’ve seen it done before but I don’t quite get what makes a mountain Emperor-y. What do mountains symbolize? A long difficult journey? Spiritual heights? Power? Sovereignty? A lot of stories feature climbing or traversing a mountain as part of an allegory. Symbol of life? Maybe the power we hold over our lives? Heaven? So many possibilities.

Okay, okay, hear me out.
Planets in the 8th = Archetypes/People you don't trust.
I have Sun, Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter here, I don't trust my father, any authoritative figures/structure in society, any businessman (or direct younger siblings), and I don't trust religious figures (or occult, even).

Astrology Observation - Nakshatra Edition ✨
Hello! Here’s the promised Nakshatra post, over the course of my learning and just interacting with people, there’s a lot I’ve learned and I’d like to share em! Feel free to correct me, I’m still very much a student when it comes to these, lol.
⚡ The nakshatra of your rising often dictates what life is going to throw at you and HOW you need to approach each issue. Example: Krittika risings might need to deal with situations that comes up by cutting out the unnecessary things in their life, Chitra might need to compartmentalise, organize and focus on the details, Jyestha might need to focus on self-preservation etc.
⚡ I feel like the reason Purva Bhadrapada is such a “be care of that one” sign when it comes to interpretations, not because of the two-faced symbolism/nature but because of this nakshatra being the last of the Jupiter-ruled Nakshatras. Jupiter is at its peak of expansion here, to the point that it becomes uncontrollable and as a result Purva Bhadrapada individuals often feel like there isn’t a natural limit, anchor or restriction to their actions. These individuals mimic the “dark night of the soul” in a way, that is detached from attachments outside their personal choice. This often leads to two kinds of manifestation, an individual that is uncontrolled in the eyes of society because there’s truly nothing that compels them besides their own motivation, or a highly spiritual person, who ends up utilizing this innate detachment to the outside world as spiritual elevation/motivation through discipline that is brought by true choice. (Saturn’s energy bringing spiritual balance)
⚡ Dhanista is often a very good nakshatra for professional fame, mainly because the nakshatra itself demands attention BUT while these individuals tend to be very talented and often loved, they have a tendency to suffer in their private lives, as their focus and “good fortune” usually comes in their work/professional life. (mann, dhanista celebs are so captivating thoughh) ⚡ Dhanista individuals are actually the nakshatra least present in murderers/serial killers, as explained by Claire Nakti, Mars last nakshatra is the highest form of expression of Mars and it also falls in Saturn ruled signs (Capricorn & Aquarius), refining the aggression and energy towards a more work orientated attitude.
⚡ Jyestha and their tendency to suppress emotions because they(or generally not express them) until it’s too much to the point that they completely break down, and end up going into an almost “berserk” rage. Not to say it’s violent (but can be if mars is involved in anyway, or aspecting the moon itself) but when they do have these anger breakdowns, they tend to act like a pissed off Scorpion placed in a dark hole, striking at anything that is within their reach. Of course, depending on the placement their “world” might shift to specific focus of that planet, but they are very much in the me vs the world mindset.
⚡ Also, Jyestha is an excellent money-making or business-minded position.
⚡ I think the parallels between Purva Bhadrapada and Jyestha are so interesting, they tend to naturally gravitate towards each other, I wonder if it’s because one (Purva Bhadrapada) is radical freedom while Jyesthas usually are distrustful to the point of taking responsibility all by themselves, lol.
⚡ Purva Bhadrapada are attracted to the self-responsible nature of Jyesthas but I think, Jyesthas tend to be attracted to Purva Bhadrapada due to the other’s ability to be so completely free and un-resentful of their emotional expression. Purva Bhadrapada exists fully in their emotions without consequences, unaffected by other’s grievances or the world’s sorrows unless they choose to be, unmoved almost. In a way, they are intrigued by the other’s extreme.
⚡ Look at your DK’s aka Darakarka’s nakshatra (the planet with the lowest degree in your chart), often times, the nakshatra manifests quite literally in your spouse. Also, the ruling planet of that nakshatra might be prominent or present in their chart.
⚡ Ardra truly embodies the mutable boredom, in a way, they can only be moved or interested by things that particularly interests them and that’s it. They don’t care about what they need to do, they only care about what they’re interested in or what they want.
⚡ Might not seem like it but Chitra nakshatra loves to poke at society’s boundaries, there’s a prominent in presence of perfecting and constructing illusionary forms to the greater masses, often times it’s done for acts of unrestrained self-expression.
⚡ The most auspicious nakshatras aren’t Jupiter ruled ones, like many people would think, it’s the Saturn ruled nakshatras.
⚡ Revati has the ultimate “out of this world” vibe, to the point that they often might feel like they don’t belong in this world.
⚡ Krittika is probably the reason why Taurus gets the underhanded reputation of ghosting, they are not afraid to cut unnecessary things out of their life and it often happens really seamlessly.
⚡ It’s been said by many people but Rohini IS the ultimate sugar baby nakshatra. I think it also has to do with the fact that Rohini tends to be the placement of indulgence, in a way, there is a want or tendency to gain attention, to have the most comfortable/luxurious life. (also very captivating eyes!)

Astrology Observation 💅
Because I'm bored and waiting for my blueberry tea to finish cooling, also, disclaimer this is from my perspective & you can point out any mistakes etc if you see 'em.
❤️ Aquarius placements (particularly in major planets) can give an almost "cooling" element to any explosive or mars-ruled sign. Like combos of Aquarius sun - Aries/Scorpio moon, for example. Don't get me wrong, the avoidant quality that Aquarius have does influence who or when they express their anger, they hide their more emotional side because they themselves see it as a "detriment" despite, acting in accordance to the more passionate side of the sign. They don't really have a tendency to open up but I honestly implore these people to do so when they're in the midst of a boiling point/when they're at the edge, you're not less for feeling anger or letting emotions overwhelm you, trust me. Not to mention your Aquarius placement, in such moments, will be more likely to listen to detached/or logical opinion and advice, which might help you not make a decision that would've been bad in the long run ™
🧡 Taurus placements need to be careful in regards of their basic needs. Often times, the earth sign depression can get too much and it might end up with them landing into unhealthy or neglectful habits, or out of the sheer inability to start. Yes, this is a call-out for myself too. Not taking care of yourself & your basic needs first before tackling anything else can make you feel worse and degrade your sense of self, as Taurus is a sign that works through the body and intuition, with the emphasis on the body (because material), taking care of your basics and some more is vital to having a stronger and more functional sense of self, it might be a drag but easing into a routine of self care would be best for the long run, trust me. (2nd house also rules basic needs). You suddenly feel like you hate everyone? You're probably neglecting on eating. You suddenly think everyone hates you? Get some rest & good sleep girl.
💛 Pluto, its placement & sign, can be indicators to how people try to usually manipulate you. But, the catch is, Pluto makes your eyes wide-open about where & how, it's intentional. Through exposure of the darker sides of life through the house & sign, Pluto wants you to learn, grow and be BETTER than any of your manipulators ever were. It's the thing with Pluto, that's almost similar, you will often feel like you need to change (intentional) to properly meet the challenges it places on you, eventually of course, it produces a stronger person, but this process will be ongoing until you truly master the house it's placed in - some people can, some can't, you can't discount the scorpionic ways of Pluto who demands change, to be better, to be stronger.
💚 Libra are often more responsibility driven than many give them credit for. Saturn is exalted in Libra, after all. They don't come off as it, not initially, but internally they often hold a standard to themselves - the people and situations that have served them and demands responsibility in return? Even if the thing/person/situation that does can often be toxic as hell? You know for sure that they're always considering it while making decisions. It doesn't matter if they don't need to be responsible, they feel obliged to. There's a sense of prioritizing other when it comes to Libra placements, so they can often stumble into toxic situations because of that. Libra babes need people who are good and can appreciate the effort they return. Look at the house where Libra sits, it's often a place where you feel a willing obligation to things (more prominent with Libra placements).
💙 Pisces, and placements, can often have difficulties with reality vs fiction, to the level that it physically manifests. They already have blurred boundaries, with an exceptional ability to access anyone's or anything's emotional/or imaginative state. There's a reason Pisces can often be guilty of falling in love with fictional people, for them, there's no boundary when it comes to what they consume. Their exceptional imaginative powers can cause intense bodily/or emotional reactions that can overwhelm rational thought and observation if they don't have any other placements to anchor it down. These are probably the people who hate gore, or like watching it (depends on other placements), because they can literally FEEL what the characters in the horror/gore setting are feeling, their skin crawls when those scenes are imagined or seen. Also, to add onto this, their emotional states can change completely if they think/daydream/imagine certain situations. There's a reason they need to shut away from people, it can get intense, their ability to literally be in other people's (fictional or real) shoe is unreal.
💜 Gemini, and the placements, honestly don't need the kind of bashing and negativity they often face like, it's enough that they're mutable air - in a constant flux of learning, adapting, understanding, and losing themselves - and having difficulty with knowing who they are, what their actual thoughts are, having an identity crisis every week because they stand in the extremes of two end and society has only convinent boxes to fill, they don't need the extra shit to constantly doubt themselves again. They're going through this constant process of learning about themselves through what they can learn from around them, they can feel like they often have to wear masks just to fit in. Just to be able to talk with people from different walks. Because society is always going to have stereotypes and preconceived ideas, because society can't accept that two sides of the coin can exist at once, how dare do people just try to assume who they are without even taking effort to get to know them? Geminis put so much effort in learning and trying to understand about things around them, it's just unfair that they get pushed into a convinent box, as if their personality - in its beautifully varied variety - is too much for people.
🖤 Capricorn placements/Saturn influence can have trouble with feeling things. Well, you'd probably scoff and say duh, but you don't realize the extent of lacking emotions can be like for them - in their darkest times, they are often void and empty, in their attempt to feel something, anything, they can reach for intense measures once it's too much, they're good at not letting emotions get in their path in everyday situation but the hardships they go through can even break down the strongest of wills. Often, feeling alive, or feeling anything, even to some extent - pain, can be their way to "cope", they're not robots. How can you expect them to continously be disciplined and perfect all the time? Do you even know how suffocating it is?
♥️ Virgo. I can say a lot about Virgos. But I've noticed this for a while now, Virgos tend to attract a lot more criticism than praise. Depends on the planets & house placement of course, but the effort Virgo puts, in maintaining and caring about the details when no one would? When they neglect themselves to give and service themselves to others? When they worry about things no one cares to? They put effort, they drive themselves to their bone to make it perfect but it always feels like it isn't enough, doesn't it? Like... you're not enough. I'm sorry that this world treats your work, your effort, like this. I want you to know, that you have made a difference, you have always made a difference and even if it feels like things can never be enough - you don't realize how beautiful it is, the way you care, the way you put the effort in, the way you think. Thank you for existing, it wouldn't be the same without you.
I ended up ranting about all of the earth & air signs, lol, whoops. I'd love to see if this resonates!

Astrology Observation ✨
This is my first time writing this and consider this more of a fun observation rather than anything too detailed (feel free to correct me, I’m still in the process of learning)!
✨ Tight Uranus aspects to either the ascendant, sun or moon can definitely give the “Not Like Other Girls” energy, individuals with this aspect often feel like they need to go against the norm or they’re perceived as weird or unusual in one way or the other. Only after they realizing that they can be original and authentic in just existing and living normally, they’ll feel less inclined to be pressured by a need to be perceived as eccentric or being seen as an outsider in one’s inner circles. (You are naturally weird in your own way, don’t worry about it❤)
✨ Some asexual placements I’ve notice; Saturn in 8th, Weak Mars being aspected by Saturn (or Mars being aspected by Saturn in general), Chiron conjunct Mars.
✨ Mars in 3rd house tend to have a naturally low ended or deeper voices, the true influence of Mars perhaps can probably be seen more prominently during fits of rage - when their voices get so loud and low that it almost gets reduced to an intangible growl.
✨ Also, they have a tendency to appear forthcoming or aggressive even if they’re speaking normally or without intending to.
✨ Virgo and Pisces are probably the sister signs that truly need each other in their life. Due to being the highest point of material and spiritual side respectively, there is a stubborn tendency in both that almost refuses to learn beyond their ways. In a way, they can complement each other by caring about the things that the other tends to neglect (plus both of these signs care so much more about other people than themselves sometimes, I swear). Of course, if they can stand each other’s presence lmao, because, for it to work, they must realize that it’s a fool’s errand to try to change the other.
✨ I’ve seen this in 8th house placements but generally 8H suns tend to prefer lower light settings, or places/time-frame when the natural light is close to dim. This is because the sun(also a signifactor of the body) is lurking in the depths of the 8th house and generally hates being forced into bright places or spotlights. Also they look better in lower light settings or dark colours :3
✨ Venus in 6th house is the ultimate “I’ll love you through etching each and every part of you in my memory, under my fingertips, any flaw and quirk, I’ll keep it in my heart and cherish it forever” placement.
✨ Fire signs have a tendency to like people similar to them (naturally similar, if they feel like the other person is faking it, that’ll turn them off), especially Aries and Leo.
✨ 8th house Moons and their obsession with using death as a comfort, lmao.
✨ Mars-Moon aspects, especially conjunction, always has that “aggression shimmering under the surface” vibe. You’ll accidentally get into debates with this person even when you’re conversing normally and it might end with them getting aggressive with their voice to the point of the conversation/topic just ends up in a dead-end.
✨ Aquarius suns have great hair! Usually, there’s like, a fluffy and/or thickness to them. There’s definitely something unique about them, though.
✨ 11th/10th house stelliums always have a strange sort of problem in their childhood, like they’re behind in what is averagely expected from a child their age. The truth is, these planets take a bit more time to mature and people usually don’t have patience to wait for that.
✨ Also, they tend to tan very easily! If they don’t naturally have a darker skin colour already.
✨ Okay but have you seen a Pisces Venus conjunct mercury sing? Their voice is goddamn angelic.

Let me clear this up for you:
Since no one seems to understand. Time to rant.
CONCEPT OF KARMA
I absolutely hate how western practitioners have twisted the meaning and bastardised it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not completely rooted in my roots and I’m not an extreme traditionalist but people using the concept of karma by first misunderstanding its foundations and then using it to justify horrendous shit is unbelievable. Which then, leads to people trying to divorce karma from its associations.
Okay, let’s just break it down. Idk how they just reduced Karma as “what goes around, comes around” & treated it like a cause and effect deal, because it isn’t. Using Karma to justify suffering and oppression was NEVER it’s original purpose. Looking through Hinduism & Vedic teachings, Karma is a law that human in the centre of responsibility, in every way, shape and form. There is a reason Karma is tied with Saturn (Shani), the God of Karma, Justice and Retribution, and ANY astrologer can tell you how Saturn operates in similar principal. Karma doesn’t teach people to shut up & suffer because they deserve it. Karma says that the cycles that exist are created by and through humans, their suffering & good fortune accordingly and by virtue, it is in their hands and will alone on how they want to cultivate their actions.
It DOESN’T discount systematic oppression.
It DOESN’T tell you to sit on your hands and suffer because it’s your fault.
It DOESN’T tell you that you’ll get good things after suffering.
What Karma does is present you with the situation of your life, then waits and watches what YOU choose to do with it, how YOU work or manage it. Ultimately, being tied to Saturn, it expects you to take responsibility on creating your own situation.
And no, I’m not saying this in the way that the way people are, and how they’re suffering is because they somehow “were a bad person in their previous life, etc etc”, I’m saying that it acknowledges that people have different situations & personal suffering, yes, a LOT of things in life are fundamentally difficult but you need to understand, the planets or the gods didn’t create suffering on such a global scale, it was ultimately humans/men themselves that perpetuated and continued the cycle of suffering, and it is, ultimately, in our hands to make it better or worse. Karma treats everyone equally this sense, but it is very difficult to understand this if you don’t realise that the concept of Karma is deeply tied with cycles, especially as Hinduism treats time as a cycle itself, and often times people really can’t and don’t have the knowledge of comprehending anything but their own/current life while they’re alive.
Karma isn’t an immediate slap in the face (unless you have those placements that make it so) as you know, the GOD OF KARMA is literally called the slowest/slow moving planet and is symbolised by a tortoise, the effects of your Karma accumulate and thus it usually manifests in the various cycle of lifes. I understand that western practitioners or those growing up with largely Christian themes/society can’t understand because we don’t have a definite “end”, the only “end” that comes from cycles of reincarnation is through burning the ties of Karma and liberating the soul. There are three types of Karma:
1. Sanchita karma, the sum total of past karmas yet to be resolved. 2. Prarabdha karma, that portion of sanchita karma that is to be experienced in this life. 3. Kriyamana karma, the karma that humans are currently creating, which will bear fruit in future.
There are some things in life you can’t control, there are also things in life that you can control. Karma is a continuous cycle until you achieve moksha, which is the ultimate goal of liberation.
Hinduism/The Vedas has recognised and understood the way the Law of Karma works, that’s one of the main reasons Dharma was made one of the aims of life, the act of good deeds, performing proper responsibilities & personality that ultimately gears you towards attaining (good)karma that will make it easier for you to pursue the other “Purusartha” aka aims of life, and of course, the path towards liberation in general.
From this perspective, we see life as fundamentally connected with everything, including people, action, deeds, nature, planets, the universe etc etc, Karma is just a law that explains one part of such. Astrology has always been one of the main tools used to deeply study the bond between the planets and a human existence (soul & body), one of the main reason Karmic Astrology exists is because the intrinsic ties our existence has with different elements of life, and of course, the soul that has & will be going through everything. Now that you’re in the end of this post, I hope you never misuse the concept of “Karma” because I’m going to arrive there with Saturn to slap a bitch.

What’s their personal philosophy?  Do they even have one?
A: David’s philosophy on life can be more or less be summed up in a single word: humor. Though deridingly sarcastic to those he doesn’t like, David is very witty, clever, and easy going. However, as becomes a pattern for him, often times he uses this natural humor and socialization to deflect from his own problems and hide away the fact that he feels a great deal of pain and guilt over his missing brother.
How do they feel about their status and reputation as the curse-breaker in the school?
A: David did not go to Hogwarts with a mission to find the vaults, which was just rumor at the time. He ached to find Jacob, but tried to adhere to his parents request that he not cause trouble. This, of course, did not happen, and as time goes on David more or less embraces the role of ‘curse-breaker’ and the responsibility that comes along with it. He does not seek attention, but does enjoy the fact that girls find him attractive.
Did they get sorted into the Hogwarts House they expected to?  Did the Sorting Hat have any problems sorting them?  Or did it not even have to touch their head?
A: David was relatively indifferent about which House he was sorted into and made that known in his private discussion with the Sorting Hat. The only house he dislikes is Slytherin and being a pure blood who saw the first war, knows of its dark reputation. It took the hat two minutes to sort David, but found his fearlessness was his most defining quality and decided to put him into Gyrffindor.
What are their coping strategies for dealing with everything (the Vaults, Jacob, etc.), if they have any?
A: David is somewhat contradictory. When it comes to finding the vaults, protecting his friends, and doing the right thing, he is largely decisive and endears himself as a leader. When it comes to his own emotions and dealing with familial issues, he’s deflective and silent. When pressed on his own troubles, he clams up and will either give a joke or change the subject. He has never been very good at expressing negative emotion and therefore when he fails to hold it back, it often explodes in the form of raw anger or tears
What electives do they take throughout their time at Hogwarts?
A: He takes Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes. He is not a fan of creatures, however, and only takes the class in order to talk Quidditch with Charlie. He later drops it and takes Divination instead in order to get an easy grade.
Are they in any clubs or extracurricular activities?  What about Quidditch?
A: Penny has invited him before to be in the Potions club, and though he will attend on occasion, does not officially join. Due to his curse breaking adventures, David has little time for anything extra curricular until 6th year, when Charlie invites him to join the Gryffindor Quidditch team as a beater, a position he largely excels at. Along with Charlie, Oliver Wood, and Sky Parkin, the Lions win the cup.
How studious are they?  What kind of studying strategies do they use?  Do they have any study groups with their friends?
A: David is quite enthusiastic about the subjects he excels in, though he is not a ‘bookworm’ like Rowan or some of his Ravenclaw friends. Often study groups are formed with the pretext of talking about something else, namely the vaults. However, he will join Rowan, Tulip, and even Merula on occasion to legitimately go over the books.
How willing are they when it comes to breaking school rules?
A: Unlike Tulip and Tonks, David does not go out of his way to break rules and doesn’t see himself as a rebel against authority figures. That being said, he has no issue bending/breaking them if he a) feels it’s to his advantage b) believes there is something greater at stake such as the safety of his friends or finding the vaults. Upon becoming a prefect, David finds this method much more difficult to follow as he has to navigate upholding his charges while also finding a new way to get around things so as to not lose his position.
Do they hang out with any of their friends over breaks?  If so, which one(s) and what do they do?
A: David does not get to hang out with any of his friends over Christmas or Summer break until his fourth year when his parents take a trip to the United States during the month of December. His mom can be quite restrictive and prefers to keep an eye on her son out of fear of losing him as she did with Jacob. After his sixth year, David spent a week with the Weasley family, immensely enjoying their company. Though he was curious, Merula refused to allow him to visit her lonely manor. This was somewhat out of safety concerns, but also because she was embarrassed and did not want David meeting her aunt.
After they graduate, do they fall off the map and keep a low profile?  Or do they continue to exist in the public eye?
A: Following graduation, David trains for three years to become an Auror and succeeds. He’s not necessarily in the public eye, but he’s never out of it either. Though not an attention seeker by nature, he also doesn’t shy away from it.
How does their career path differ from what they thought they’d be doing?  Or does it differ at all?
A: ‘Curse-Breaker’ was a designation that David accepted but never truly embraced over his time at Hogwarts. It was Tonks who convinced him that his talents and interests were better served in Law Enforcement as the Auror office only takes the best of the best.
Do they have any hobbies?  What about any talents or aptitudes?
A: David loves a pint at a pub, Quidditch matches, and going to concerts with his girlfriend and later wife, Merula. He is also quite fond of cooking various steaks and pork chops, a skill Jae later taught him when he began to live on his own. Believe it or not, he is also a talented singer, though he prefers to give way to Merula on that score, allowing her his spot on the Frog Choir. Though not enthralled at academics, David is talented in Transfiguration, Herbology, Potion Making, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Most notably, he is one of the best duelers during his time at Hogwarts.
Do they have any favorite spells?
A: David is partial to ‘Reducto’ as he can reduce most objects to ash with it. He’ll often do this in private for fun or to vent off steam. Another, more light hearted spell he likes is the ‘Melofors Jinx’ which he uses on Merula and Ismelda more than once over the years (the spell causes the victim’s head to be encased inside of a pumpkin).
What’s one thing they did or thought as a child that they later look back and cringe about?
A: David has extremely mixed feelings about how often he used to idolize his brother. He still does to some extent, but by the time he enters his first year, it’s rather hollow and can’t help but feel a tremendous amount of guilt about Jacob and the fact that he was the only hero he ever had growing up.
If they could travel anywhere at all in the world—money, time, and language not being an issue—where would they go and who would they take with them?
A: Before Jacob’s disappearance, the Grant family took several holidays, one of which was in Normandy, France. David dreams of buying a small cottage there and take trips with his one and only love, Merula. David has also been to America and was quite fond of New York, finding the relative anonymity a perfect place to hide out if one were a wizard looking to avoid attention.
If they’re an Animagus, how easy was becoming one for them?  Were they happy with their Animagus form?  Or did they want it to be something different?
A: David never becomes an Animagus in my story.
Do they like what they see in the mirror?
A: David carries a cocky streak laced with vanity and knows he’s handsome to many young witches at Hogwarts. He knows and appreciates his own talent. But in terms of his own self, there is a great deal of doubt: his life, career, the vaults, family, finding his brother. Due to Jacob’s disappearance, David still feels like it was his fault that something went wrong and that his parents’ marriage became strained to the point of near divorce. He avoids these issues for the most part, never acknowledging them unless seriously prompted or pushed.
How good are they at taking compliments?
A: Very normal for the most part.
How much do they trust their friends?
A: David gets along with his friends, but due to his own inability to let go of the guilt and pain he felt when Jacob left, he does not like revealing his innermost secrets to people. He avoids talking about his somewhat unstable family life, which has become strained, stifling, and gray. He would trust his best friends in almost any other category, however, including battle or information about the vaults.
Are they pretty self-reliant?  Or do they like to go to their friends for help?
A: It’s a mix. David is not one to be a martyr but he does have an obsessive streak which has a tendency to push people out when not careful. All in all, he’s very thankful for the assistance he receives from his friends
Who is their favorite Weasley?  Or can they not choose?
A: David likes the Weasleys equally and enjoys Bill and Charlie in their own way, the former for being a surrogate older brother, the second for his down to earth nature and general friendliess. Fred and George are something of a nuisance with their pranks which make his job as Prefect twice as hard, however, he does hold a soft spot for them after they help him find a few secret passage ways as an apology. He does have a least favorite Weasley by the end though: Percy, whom he regards as a whiner and a tattletale.
What’s the thing they like least about themselves?
A: Despite contrasting himself frequently with Jacob, David also knows he shares a similar impulsive streak that has threatened to get him into serious trouble more than once. He’s also a sucker for women and though he never cheats on Merula, he does seek out other girls when the two break up or when they aren’t together. He also has a hidden guilt complex: everything that goes wrong in his family and relationship life he blames himself.
What’s the thing they like most about themselves?
A: David enjoys his ability to be quick with a joke and get along with most people. He’s naturally good at most things (with a few exceptions) and prides himself on being attractive to girls who see him as something of a sexy bachelor. He also comes to realize he’s a natural leader and that people tend to gravitate towards him when a dangerous or difficult situation comes around.
How bad is their temper?  Do they tend to lash out at others or themselves?
A: David is not temperamental and not easily angered due to his good nature and sense of humor. However, if pushed too far, a quiet rage and tenacity overtakes his mind, blocking out all else until the episode is over. His anger is usually in response to something else- bullying, bigotry, or attacks against his family. During Year 6, David lashes out far more frequently than he usually does, alienating himself somewhat from his longtime friends. He mends the relationships later on, after discovering he was often his own worst enemy and critic.
What’s their biggest regret in life, if they have any?
A: Two in particular. He wishes he could have been there to prevent Jacob from leaving. The second is the way he handled his first break up with Merula. He felt it was his fault for letting her get tortured by Rakepick, but his own inability to solve the problem and Merula’s own stubbornness led to their parting of ways.
What kind of first impression do they tend to leave on others?
A: Carefree, funny, and witty with a zest for life.
What is the achievement they’re most proud of?
A: Even throughout his curse breaking adventures, David is most proud of his becoming an Auror and somehow convincing Merula to become his wife.
Do they like having photos taken of themselves?
A: David has a knack for taking goofy photos.
What’s one big way that your MC differs from the in-game canon?
A: I feel David Grant definitely has a more sarcastic streak and is not quite as much of a stickler. But all in all, he’s got personality. Most people’s MC’s are pretty much brand generic hero character. David, while a hero, is also a deeply flawed, wise cracking, cocky, baggage ladden teen. That reaches its peak during Years 5 and 6 and it’s only during Year 6 he manages to let go of much of the anguish he was holding onto in order to become a more complete person
What does their name mean and why did you choose it?
A: David is a common Anglo/American name that derives of course from the Hebrew King David in the Torah/Bible. I chose it for two reasons 1) it seemed to fit well with the last name I had in mind 2) it’s also my father’s name, and I modeled the character partially after him
If they’re an Animagus, why did you choose the form for them that you did?
A: David did not choose to become an animagus
How has your MC changed since you first created them?
A: Though I am still in the process of writing the story, David will go through many ups and downs before completing his arc. As an eleven year old first year, he is a curious, funny, talented, but guarded person and those traits become more intense/exaggerated as he gets older. His arc doesn’t come full circle until Year 6.
How well do you think you and your MC would get on?
A: At times really well and other times not. He is modeled after myself in many ways, but David has a higher degree of confidence, leadership, and withholds his feelings as opposed to me, a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. I’m sensitive by nature, he’s not. But we do share a few talents- singing music, being generally good at sports and watching it, bar trivia, cooking, etc. The thing that we share above all is passion about a topic we enjoy that can become a full blown obsession. I have that feature to my person and so does David. All in all, as adults I would like David a lot and I think he would like me too.

Dear Dudence for 18 September 2017
I’d previously not wanted to do comments on Dear Prudence’s chats; they’re disorganized, the letter writers get responses from other reader in the column, it might be a bit unfair because they’re quickly written.  However, as a wise philosopher reminded me, this wasn’t a rule so much as a guideline.  However I do have rules about alcohol so with a Shiner in hand here we go...
Midlife crisis?: For the past year or two-but especially over the last few months-I’ve been having what I can only describe as a midlife crisis. I’ve lost complete interest in my job (though I’m still productive), don’t want to deal with my kids anymore even though I love them like crazy (I’ve been a single mom for 10 years with no help from their father), and basically just want to travel the world with no responsibilities.
Dear Midlife Crisis, take a look around you at work, later, take a look around you during a school function, PTA meeting, whatever.  Every single adult you’re looking at has had, or will have, a time when they think the same things you are now.  Wanting something different, a life you think you’ll love, free of the responsibilities and worries of your day-to-day life is nothing new.  Heck, here are multiple entries for it on TV Tropes.  You give no indication in your letter that it is life itself which is overwhelming you, which is what Newdie’s advice would be good for.  If all you wanted was a break from the stress, or to reduce the stress, sure, hire a cleaning service or get a babysitter.  However, although she was wrong, she’s on the right trail.  While a year lounging on the beach sipping umbrella drinks might be unreasonable for several reasons, would a week-long vacation without the children be impossible?  That or find yourself a younger woman and buy a sports car.
Husband’s having an affair and I don’t care: I just discovered my husband of 15 years is hooking up with women he finds online. We’ve had issues that all couples who’ve been together for a long time have: full-time jobs, medical issues for us both, dealing with my aging and infirm parents, carting the kids to hell and back. I’m disappointed that he appears to have chosen the nuclear option rather than discuss his dissatisfaction. But other than that, I feel nothing. No anger, no sadness, just ... whatever.
Dear Don’t Care, oof.  This doesn’t strike me as merely a lack of romantic connection, but a lack of an emotional one as well.  I don’t lightly advise ending relationships, but that doesn’t mean I won’t, and it certainly doesn’t mean I wouldn’t suggest it as a topic of discussion with your spouse.  Because it is a subject you need to bring up when you talk with him about this.  At the very least, as NuPru suggested, if you’re going to make this a feature of your relationship you need to make sure you’re protected (emotionally, physically, reputationally, whatever).
Unwilling teetotaler: Recently, I had to give up alcohol for medical reasons-it may or may not be permanent. One side effect is I don’t have as much tolerance for family events or weddings that used to seem fine (or even great) with a few beers. My husband’s family is large and we are obligated to go to a lot of family gatherings. Unfortunately, I’ve found that without alcohol, these events range from boring to someone-please-shoot-me.
Dear Unwilling Teetotler, you’re not being unreasonable to not want to stay at frequent events which make you miserable.  You are being unreasonable to expect your husband to forgo partaking so he can experience your misery.  As in many things COMMUNICATE.  “Honey, I’m going to head out after an hour or so, you stay and have a great time.  If you need a ride because you had too much please call me.”  There, problem solved.  If logistics is an issue, Uber.  Please ignore Bad Pru’s comments about needing to have a conversation about your in-law’s relationship with alcohol.  She’s reading her biases into your letter.  Granted, I’m doing it too but its my place, my rules guidelines.
Bad dog: We have new neighbors that moved in a couple of months ago. They are nice people and have a toddler that my son loves to play with, but they also have a dog that is insanely aggressive toward kids. We have a dozen or so kids on the block and he’s lunged at about half of them. (He even hit my own son with his snout while his back was turned, leaving a bruise, not a bite.) Luckily, he’s been on a leash every time which has prevented a serious attack. Recently, the dog has been digging his way out of the backyard. The owners have fixed the holes when they happen, but now all the neighbors are even more scared of what could happen.
Dear Bad Dog, do you live in my neighborhood?  Nevermind.  They’re nice people and your son plays with theirs.  Share your concerns with them, but be prepared for them to dismiss your concerns.  People tend to be blind to issues close to them.  “Beloved Pet” is an issue close to people, so they’re probably going to be defensive, and you need to be prepared for that.  Afterall, you are about to tell them they don’t know how to train and raise their dog.  Be polite, share your concerns; it’s aggressive towards other children, a dog on the loose is at risk of all sorts of bad things happening to it, etc, etc.  I would caution you about making “call Animal Control” Step 2 in your course of action.  Animal Control is an escalation.  If you’re not prepared to see the dog taken away, don’t call Animal Control; they are there for the protection of animals and people, not Neighbor Conflict Remediation.
Outsider tortoise at a table full of hares: This may seem a nonproblem, but it’s important to me: I’m a slow eater. I don’t make people sit at the table for hours as I languidly pick at my plate, but I’m often finishing my first helping while others are on their seconds, thirds, or beyond. In fact, I rarely get a chance for additional helpings, even when I’m the hostess. (Which I frequently am, making tons of food.)
Dear Outsider Tortoise, I hate your friends and I’m not too fond of you either.  I hate your friends because they’re making you think “I eat slow because of my privilege and that’s ‘Not Okay’”.  I’m not fond of you because you’ve taken it to heart and view “my parents taught me table manners” and view that as some sort of undeserved boon in life for which you must atone.  Fuck that noise.  That being said, if this is an issue across several groups of friends the problem might actually be with you (whether because you do eat interminably slow or your friends are awful people I’ll leave as an exercise to the reader).  You could do what NuPru said and just get more on your plate, or you could go the opposite route and get less at first so you finish faster then get your seconds with the group, or you could store some extra in your fridge for yourself later, or you could find people who aren’t mooching off you and then blaming your middle-class upbringing for why you don’t eat like a ravenous warthog.

Edgeworth & Mental Illness
In honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, I thought I would talk a little bit (spoiler alert: there is nothing “a little bit” about this post) about the different mental illnesses that I write Miles with.  Keep in mind that I'm not a medical professional by any stretch of the imagination, and I'm going on my own research and experience for a lot of this.  This is, of course, my own personal interpretation.
This is not a comprehensive list, and it's bound to shift and change as I develop my writing.  Please be aware that this isn't fun stuff.  I'll put a full trigger list under the cut.
#child abuse #trauma #suicide attempt #suicidal ideation #self harm #addiction #drug use
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
PTSD is a mental disorder that can develop after a person is exposed to a traumatic event.  According to the ADAA, the disorder is characterized by three main types of symptoms:
Re-experiencing the trauma through intrusive distressing recollections of the event, flashbacks, and nightmares.
Emotional numbness and avoidance of places, people, and activities that are reminders of the trauma.
Increased arousal such as difficulty sleeping and concentrating, feeling jumpy, and being easily irritated and angered.
Miles canonically experiences symptoms of PTSD.  He has flashbacks triggered by earthquakes, he has recurring nightmares, and he avoids elevators.  Within blog canon, he also suffers from insomnia, panic attacks, and hypervigilance, particularly under times of high stress.  He is also claustrophobic and experiences anxiety from things that restrict his breathing, such as tight ties/shirt collars and swimming underwater.
It should be noted that Miles' PTSD stems not only from witnessing his father's murder, but also the abuse he suffered under von Karma.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
GAD is a mental disorder characterized by persistent and excessive worry about a number of different things, coupled with the inability to control that worry.
This is something Miles had since childhood, but he had a decent support system when he was young.  It was exacerbated greatly by his father's death, and further from training under von Karma.  A lot of this overlaps with his PTSD, but I do hold that it is alongside rather than a part of it.
A lot of his anxiety is stemmed from his triggers, but he has developed a good deal of smaller worries concerning (mostly) unrelated things: ladders, large bodies of water (such as oceans, not lakes), thunderstorms, etc. He also has a crippling fear of failure and losing control.
Major Depressive Disorder
MDD is a mental condition in which a person suffers at least one major depressive episode in their lifetime.  The qualifications for one of these episodes involve a certain set of symptoms being persistent for at least two weeks and generally will interfere with one's ability to perform their normal everyday activities.
Miles experienced a major depressive episode following the State vs. Skye case (Rise From the Ashes), although he had been spiraling since before the State vs. Edgeworth case (Turnabout Goodbyes).  Before that point, he likely would have been diagnosed with Persistent Depressive Disorder (PPD), which is a less severe version of MDD but generally lasts longer than a single episode.  Miles has had major depressive episodes before the one that ultimately saw him leaving his job and disappearing for a year, but they were less severe.
The symptoms he experiences include feelings of extreme guilt and hopelessness, loss of pleasure of things he normally enjoys, decreased appetite, insomnia, fatigue, lack of concentration, and suicidal ideation.
He was likely predisposed to MDD, but it manifested because of his trauma and abuse history.  He might have it without those things, but the severity would likely be a bit lower.
Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder
I'm a bit hesitant with this one because personality disorders are a whole different category, and diagnosing them is really complex. Personality disorders are called such because they are rooted within someone's personality, sometimes due to years of maladaptive patterns of behavior.  It often has to do with using juvenile coping methods and never really learning to use better ones.  Miles does fit a lot of the patterns, but I'm not sure it's the perfect diagnosis for him because it's difficult to tell if it's a part of his personality or some sort of chemical imbalance (believed to be the cause of many mental illnesses that are not personality disorders).
OCPD, which is also called Anankastic Personality Disorder, is a kind of personality disorder that is characterized by perfectionism, need for control, and cognitive rigidity.  It is similar in some ways to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but it is considered a separate diagnosis.
Miles' symptoms include preoccupation with orderliness and organization, obsession with rules, perfectionism to the point where it interferes with productivity (i.e. he may not sleep the night before a trial because he feels the need to prepare for every single possibility that may come up in court, rather than not getting his work done on time), rigidity and stubbornness, and inflexibility about moral issues (i.e. everything is either good or bad, black or white; there are no gray areas).
While the exact cause of OCPD is unknown, it's likely that this was influenced greatly by von Karma.
With this cocktail of mental illnesses comes certain behavioral patterns and coping mechanisms.  Due to the fact that Miles is a functional member of society with a high stress job that he is very, very good at, it's clear that his coping mechanisms are working for him, at least for the short term. However, he has a distinct lack of a social life and not very many friends, along with the fact that his abuser is still a part of his life after he moves out.  Without treatment and removing the severely negative factors in his life, it's likely a major depressive episode was inevitable.
Miles' coping methods were effective in the short term, but they were not positive coping methods.  Here is a non-comprehensive list of his coping methods:
Distraction. He will bury himself in work to avoid dealing with his emotions. (Note: this is not necessarily a negative coping method, but being as he never actually deals with things, it's not a positive one either.)
Self-medication. He abuses prescription benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Ativan).  However, there is a stipulation to this:  he has a legitimate prescription, and, while he almost always takes at least one a day, he will not resort to breaking the law to get extra.  The last few days before he is allowed to refill his prescription are days you want to stay very far away from him.
Self harm.  Although less prevalent in adulthood, he was a cutter the entire time he was living under von Karma's roof.  His cuts are very well hidden, mostly on his thighs.
Avoidance. He actively avoids situations that will spike his anxiety, to the point where he climbs twelve flights of stairs every single day so that he doesn't have to take the elevator.  (Also not necessarily a negative coping mechanism, except for the great lengths he'll go to to avoid certain things.)
Aggression. While much of the time, his reprimands to subordinates are due to a lack of competency on their parts, he also sometimes derives pleasure from putting other people down.  This is especially true in the courtroom, where he can generally outwit a defense attorney.
So, what can he do about it?
This blog's canon is that Miles started receiving psychiatric treatment after leaving his suicide note and fleeing the country.  I'm not sure if this happened because of an actual suicide attempt or for some other reason.  With official diagnoses and proper therapy and medication, he was able to rebuild himself into the man we see in the later games.
He also got Pess while he was in Europe, who is a certified service dog trained to help him deal with his PTSD symptoms in particular.  She is more than an emotional support dog, although she performs those tasks for him as well.  What makes her a service dog is that she is trained to get him to safety in earthquakes, protect him in the event of a full flashback, wake him up from nightmares, etc.
She is the absolute light of his life, and he adores her.  He takes her just about everywhere, although he doesn't always need her services. The main place she does not go with him is the courthouse.  But she has a doggy bed in his office and strolls around the twelfth floor most of the day.
Just because Miles is in treatment and on medications doesn't mean he is magically better, though.  Many of the things he deals with now, he will be dealing with the rest of his life.  The difference is that he is getting the resources he needs to deal with these things in a healthier manner.  There will still be bad days and weeks and months, and there are still things he hasn't addressed. For instance, his addiction to benzos is still something he won't admit to needing to deal with and is very good at hiding it from his acquaintances. He still hasn't completely processed the idea that his life was so incredibly influenced by a man who was setting him up for failure from the beginning.  He still has trouble admitting that what happened to him was abuse.
It's a long process, but he is finally on the right path.

Salt Lake City Lawyer Talks About Innocent Shooting
Recently, the story of a Utah police officer shooting a dog in its owner’s backyard went viral, and perhaps with good reason, Salt Lake City attorneys say. Beginning with a video posted to Facebook, the story gathered steam via social and news media, and the resulting outrage by the public has raised questions over the series of events that led to the death of the innocent, reportedly non-aggressive pet. According to the article in the Salt Lake Tribune, police officers were searching for a missing 3-year-old boy in the Sugar House area when one of the officers entered a private backyard and shot a Weimaraner in the head, killing it on the absent owner’s property.
The video that went viral shows the owner of the dog, Sean Kendall, confronting the Salt Lake City police officer upon arriving at his house and learning that his dog had been killed. He reports that he received a phone call from Animal Control informing him of the situation, and asks the question the public has since been demanding an answer to: “What was the cause for an officer to shoot and kill my dog?” It has not yet been reported whether Kendall is looking into getting legal counsel from Salt Lake City attorneys, and the city’s police department “has revealed little information about the shooting except to say that the dog acted aggressively when the officer entered its backyard as he searched for the missing child.”
youtube
The officer who pulled the trigger remained on duty and was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing, but the comments on the news articles and in social media about the incident demand that the results aren’t good enough. The executive director of the Humane Society of Utah speaks for much of the public response when he queries, “Why, when there are so many non-lethal alternatives available (pepper spray, tasers, batons, etc.), that this officer hose to use deadly force as his first go-to option?”
Unfortunately, according to some Salt Lake City attorneys, Kendall may not have any legal recursive action available to him. Litigators for civil suits don’t encourage Kendall to be hopeful about filing a case, as property damage claims will likely be small comfort in the face the grief incurred by the death of a pet.

This has been a big enough deal of an incident that the City Council has commented on it, sending a letter to Police Chief Chris Burbank and informing the police department of an independent review to be conducted by the Police Civilian Review Board, with the request that “both investigations be thorough and deliberate, with the results released to the public as soon as possible.”
But even local Salt Lake City attorneys acknowledge that the results of the report will do little to appease the anger of the community, which is partly why the City Council has requested that Burbank “educate” the public on policies of law enforcement surrounding searching for a missing child. No one wants to see another incident like this one anytime soon.

Nursing Home Misuse? Get  Local Nursing Home Abuse Lawyer Now
Your decision to put someone you care in a medical home is usually difficult and requires a lot of trust. In the end, the family members are putting the care of an older cherished one in the hands of other people. When poor or harassing nursing house operators break that trust, not merely do they trigger someone to suffer, they burden the family with emotions of guilt and anger more than that what was to be a great decision. Don't allow them to go with it. A Nursing Home Abuse Lexington ky can help make sure that you get your rights and the satisfaction contained in realizing that your beloved will be well looked after. Here's where to start.
Tumblr media
First, what is a "nursing home attorney"? In fact, there is no answer to this because the term covers experience in a number of regions of law: Based on the situation, there might be a concern of medical malpractice, especially if the senior is in a home care facility that is accountable for providing health care.  There may be a breach of contract. If the service is contractually bound to supply certain solutions - new linens, entertainment, foods, etc . - and does not do this, then it is an infringement of this agreement.
The service could be faltering to surpass its responsibilities imposed by state's nursing home rules. In a few cases, the facility might even have committed a deliberate damage (also referred to as a "tort") against the visitor such as "battery" if, for instance, where a worker of the service slaps a guest.
As a result, a nursing home abuse attorney Lexington ky ( also known as a "nursing home misuse lawyer") is a practitioner of the wider range of personal injury, medical negligence or the branch of rules dealing with the legal issues of the elderly, such trusts and so forth ) that has obtained encounter dealing with unethical nursing home operators.
The one thing, nevertheless, with all attorneys who end up concentrating on nursing home misuse is they are plaintiffs' lawyers. The "plaintiffs" are the victims of somebody else's wrongdoing. The injured parties, through their particular attorneys, will be the ones who must go after the wrongdoers for the problems to help them obtain their lives back. It takes a unique, aggressive
nursing home abuse lawyer Lexington ky
to follow the wrongdoers who do commit the offense. It requires the best lawyer.
Where to find one in particular? There are two great ways. If someone you know has had success with a nursing home attorney in times just like yours, then it is clearly a very good lead. You need to be cautious in order to avoid "charity referrals" - that's, a referral to friend or relative who happens to be a lawyer. She or he might lack the required experience.
Another option, and most likely the best when it comes to finding a
nursing home abuse attorney Lexington ky attorney,
is to visit companies who do medical malpractice case advertisements. Those advertisements tend to be ridiculous, however, they do show those lawyers are earning money, and that cash comes from wrongdoers since the majority of these attorneys are just paid from the amount of money they earn for their customers.

POLITICAL HUMOR & SATIRE
Many years ago Nancy Pelosi bravely said, "We have to pass the bill to know what’s in it." But even after it was passed, no one has ever read the Affordable Care Act in its entirety; it is so large that it has its own gravitational field.
In a dramatic stroke of brilliance and keen journalistic instinct, or perhaps outright laziness, we decided to start from the back. Here’s what we found.
Hospital stays exceeding two days require patient-provided bedpans and light bulbs.Co-pays are now tracked by as a Wall Street investment index.Half off Abortion-Tuesdays at Family Dollar stores everywhere. The term “deductibles” is omitted from the medical lexicon in favor of “insurer’s fair share.”Malpractice lawsuits shall be known as “pulling the ‘ol Okey-Dokey.”A 20% tip automatically added to prescription drug purchases.School lunch programs shall include Soylent Green Fridays.
As a member of the white male hetero Christian class my peoples have been ruling the world far to long. It is only fitting that I and my ilk get a taste of our own medicine and accept our demotion in exchange for the promotion of the victim class. The only thing my peoples can do to alleviate our deserved pains is to sacrifice our place willingly and eagerly. We shall vocally praise the oppressed, admit our sins and accept our lashings. When we are ordered to leave our campuses because of our whiteness we shall do so with a smile. When we are reminded of our privilege we shall accept it with a tear. Equality before the law is not the goal. Lady Justice is not blind, comrade. Her eyes are open and her scales are now tipped accordingly. That is the "Democratic Ideal" for which we now must live.
Early this morning President Trump challenged the nation to discover the true meaning of "covfefe."
We accepted the challenge and we’re pretty sure we have figured it out.
Just some pictures and headlines:
– Kathy Griffin mistakenly beheads Alec Baldwin in Trump costume; nobody cares.
– Islamic State disavows Kathy Griffin, pleads with her to "chill the f@#& out"
– ISIS Condemns Kathy Griffin For Cultural Appropriation
etc.
An academic study from researchers at Brunel University London assessed 171 men, looking at their height, weight, overall physical strength and bicep circumference, along with their views on redistribution of wealth and income inequality. The study, published in the Evolution and Human Behavior journal, found that weaker men were more likely to favor socialist policies than stronger men.
Back when I lived in New York I went shopping for a modern-looking microfiber jacket suitable for cool weather. I visited a dozen boutique stores in Manhattan, trying on a variety of nice-looking jackets. None of them fit me in the chest. Even if I was able to zip them up over my chest, I couldn’t move my arms…
A recently found 1,200-year-old fossil is giving anthropologists new insights into a warrior-like, bipedal masculine human specimen they have identified as Testiculus Englishmanus, a mysterious ancestor of modern-day British men.
The remains were discovered in Wessex, at the site of the historic Battle of Edington (present-day Wiltshire), where in May, 878 AD, patriotic Anglo-Saxons defeated "The Heathen Army" of the Viking invaders, leading to the eventual liberation and unification of England.
The 6 foot-long fossil reveals that the extinct early man of England possessed two large working testicles, which shatters all modern theories about the origins of today’s residents of the British Isles.
The world’s best known dealmaker-turned-president showed that when it comes to real estate, nobody out-negotiates the Trumpster.
The president met briefly with Pope Francis, whom Trump described as a "…very, very nice man. Very hospitable," before agreeing on a price for the Vatican.
Subjects discussed by the two leaders included the environment, world peace, religious tolerance, and property values.
"After a little going back and forth, I finally asked His Holiness what he wanted for the Vatican. He made an offer, but you know how deals are, he started low and I started high," Trump told the accredited media shortly afterwards.
Do you hate Donald Trump?
Is your lifelong dream to destroy his presidency? Do you live for nothing else these days?
Are you looking for a flexible job that requires little effort while allowing you to be as outrageous as you want? Do you enjoy throwing stuff at the wall and watching it slide down to the floor leaving a trail of slime?
Then mainstream media outlets, especially the New York Times and Washington Post, would like to offer you a position as an ANONYMOUS SOURCE!
Harvard University has written a new dress code that defines ties, a traditional male dress accessory, as a symbol of oppression, chauvinism, and hate speech. The decision came after a women’s rights group petitioned the school board to ban neckties, claiming that students have been triggered by seeing such a “flamboyant and offensive” micro-aggression carried around even by their own professors.
Immediately after the board’s decision, a mass email was sent to all students and faculty of the new dress code, stating that if the new policy was disobeyed it could bring about “serious consequences” including expulsion.
Komrades, I made this little vid where Ragnar Lothbrok gets a glimpse of his people’s nightmarish future that is 21st century Sweden.
It has no major spoilers from the show "Vikings".
French PM candidate Emmanuel Macron has proposed a new initiative, the "Fair Redistribution of Terror in Europe Program," that he hopes will revive his faltering campaign days before France’s voters go the polls.
"It is unfair that France and other enlightened nations that open their borders to Muslim refugees, must suffer the most from Islamic terrorism," Macron said at a campaign rally on Monday. "As a fair-minded person, I am saddened and outraged that less enlightened nations, especially Poland, who close their borders to Muslim migrants, get to enjoy terror-free existence…
For thousands of years, since the end of the Ice Age, international workers gathered in their caves on May Day to organize, protest, and represent. They sat around bonfires chanting Party-approved slogans and denouncing U.S. imperialism.
Every year the changing Current Truth called for different slogans, which were promptly provided to the masses by this glorious Party Organ. And this year is no different. See the most current, updated, and expanded list of slogans for May Day 2017.

A sad day today. The People’s Climate Marches in both Denver and Colorado Springs today had to be cancelled because of snow.
I demand a Congressional investigation. Surely Trump has colluded with the Russians to hack our weather in order to make those of us on the side of Truth, Justice and The Socialist Way look bad.
And to think the Russians used to be our friends…

Fearless Girl has gotten a little cocky since she stood up to the Wall Street bull – that symbol of financial optimism and prosperity. So brash in fact that she’s graduated from turning this bull into a steer and now takes her intimidation on the road.
Her search for other icons that she can threaten with her icy stare and bravado is taking her on a world-wide excursion. We’ve captured the best moments in this photo essay as FG traveled the globe.

MIT Press is out with a new book that teaches children the tenets of Karl Marx with fairy tales.
The little girl’s armpit hair is especially disturbing. I understand it must be a nod to feminism, and far be it from me to dictate rules of body hygiene to any women and their consenting partners.
The reason it’s disturbing is because little girls don’t have armpit hair.
So the book’s authors either have never had children themselves and forgot their own childhood, or they are perverts who fantasize about a world where little girls have armpit hair or where adult women with armpit hair look, dress, and behave like little girls and break things they don’t or won’t understand.
In 1988 we told the world that "We only have ten years left to save the planet."
In 1989, our wonderful comrades at the United [in Marxism] Nations decreed the same thing.
Then during the 2000 election season our Holy Prophet Who Has Never Been Wrong, Al Gorski (Muslim name: al-goreeza) issued a fatwa that we only had ten years left to save the planet.
Nobody listened. George Bush [spit, spit] won stole the election and the planet’s environmental destruction continued.
So, in 2006, prophet al-goreeza issued another fatwa…

United Airlines will not be beat, even if you take their seat.
Previously, airlines were required to pay passengers four times their ticket price if they were more than 4 hours late, but United now has a deal beater.
If they need a passenger’s seat, they will simply beat them and drag them from the plane.
This way, they keep costs low for the little people, while kicking the teeth in of uppity, fancy doctors.

Now that Ivanka Trump’s perfume has seen a sales explosion due to, of all things, retail outlets removing the brand from their shelves, Ms Trump has been looking to further incorporate irritated liberals in her business strategy.
Retailers did not consider the fact that the vast majority of liberal women don’t enjoy smelling pleasant, so any move related to perfume inventory would go unnoticed by this demographic…
Every year on April First, internationally known as The Current Truth Day, all progressive humanity celebrates the People’s Cube’s glorious anniversary. Twelve years ago today, on April 1, 2005, this Party Organ was launched out of an undisclosed bunker and swiftly rose over the horizon like the red hexahedron-shaped sun of the revolution, bringing the light of Party-approved thought straight out of the Motherland to the toiling masses of the darkened, non-socialist parts of planet Earth.
Comrade hippies at the HealiUm Art Center in Atlanta, GA, have come up with a creative plan to heal our divided nation. Mocking Donald Trump’s book title, The Art of the Deal, they named their project The Art of The Heal, calling everyone who self-identifies as being an artist to create over 100,000 pieces of art to send to the White House by July 4th, 2017: "Gift the collective art to the President with a request to display the gifted art pieces in the White House for public viewing."
San Francisco, CA — 81 year old Cynthia Cunningham was hospitalized during the early morning hours today after she was found barely conscious in Target department store women’s restroom. The elderly woman fell into a toilet becoming lodged in the public commode when the seat that Cunningham attempted to use was left up.
According to the victim’s family, Cunningham went missing last night after she went into town to buy her grandson a birthday card and a video game. The frail customer with poor eyesight and a weak bladder was recorded on security cameras rushing into the restroom a half-hour before the store closed only to not emerge until EMTs carried her out…

"A Day Without Sobriety" campaign gains momentum in the Motherland.
Concerned that Russians don’t consume enough alcohol in the month of March, Russia’s Orthodox Church has now made St. Patrick’s Day an official holiday over the country’s enormous territory.
Because the Orthodox Church’s calendar is two weeks behind the Western calendar, the celebration is being scheduled on March 30th, almost two weeks after the drinking has wrapped up in the rest of the world. This means that Russia’s 143 million-strong population will be carousing on the 17th when everyone else does it, and then on the 30th…
In joining the fun of a "Day Without" campaign I am starting a new "Day Without" campaign called "A Day Without a Day Without" campaign.
I know it is hard to imagine living a day without being reminded of the sensitivities and abuses faced by our perpetually aggrieved brethren but I am in desperate need of "A Day Without Guilt."
After my "A Day Without A Day Without" campaign I am proposing some additional "Day Without" campaigns to fill our annual calendars. Please help me complete our 365 day schedule.
Dear oppressed women and non-women who identify as females!
On this wonderful spring holiday the Party takes a day off from the usual revolutionary struggle in order to celebrate all the international contributions to social justice made by self-identified female-gendered persons and wishes for them to crush their oppressors anywhere they can find them – and get even!
Remember: 50% of the world’s population has 100% of the Y-chromosomes and 91% of the testosterone. #SMASH FASCIST TESTICLES!
We will never have a truly equal society until we can eliminate Penis Envy by eliminating the penis. #All GENITALS BELONG TO THE STATE!
To go along with Disney’s re-envisioning of Beauty and the Beast, and their new show Princes, they’ve also released a new children’s cartoon – perfect for the kids to watch while eating their cereal during Saturday morning prime time.
A hundred years ago (April 6, 1917) America entered World War I. The prevailing media messaging of the time was captured in these war propaganda posters.
Things have changed in the last hundred years, and so has the media messaging. This raises some questions:
Who comes up with this new messaging? Who is the target? What is it aimed to accomplish? And can a nation survive this mindset if it prevails? Could any nation survive it?
Because while the messaging has changed, the world hasn’t…
If today’s New York Times editors had been in charge in 1917 (strumming harp music)…
A likely illegal publication of a private German telegram to culturally diverse Hispanic and Oriental leaders causes rage, Teutophobia among white alt-right U.S. nationalists
The questionably legal publication of a private German telegram has some alt-right conspiracy buffs attributing the worst possible motives to the German government.
The telegram, which legal experts caution may be illegal for citizens to read…
Today’s lesson: how to condescend to minorities and still score liberal points
This photo, initially posted on Reddit, has quickly become viral. An unnamed teacher in Massachusetts, believing that her students were as shocked by Trump’s election as she was, posted these equality-enforcement proclamations on the classroom wall.
It must be very reassuring for "Latino(a)" students to see a daily reminder that they are not rapists or drug dealers. The same goes for Muslim students who supposedly need to be reminded that they are not terrorists in case they forget. Black students are probably expected to feel grateful for being sheltered from certain death that lurks outside; paranoia is always good for morale.
It is the dawn of the Trump era. The deep state, also known as "a state within a state" is in danger of being drained. In Washington, DC, an elite group of career government bureaucrats bands together to issue the squeal of a lifetime.
The sabotage of Trump and his troops serves as the backdrop for the gripping story about self-serving pen pushers who put the entire country’s future on the line to defend their swamp, trough, and the deep state from Trump’s swamp-draining forces.
Despite inconclusive evidence and ignoring the possible ramifications, the deep state orders the attack…
Each February, film fans around the world turn their attention to the Academy Awards called "The Oscars." But this year is different. "The movies" we so love and cherish have given way to astonishing performances right here on our streets – free of charge! We’ve saturated ourselves with popcorn while watching entertaining "snowflake" routines since Election Day, and it only gets better.
Buy movie tickets? Why! We’ve got free entertainment! We’ve watched more liberal meltdowns on YouTube than movies. We get excited and well… forget the cinema! I’m staying home to watch the liberals!
Comrade Psychiatrist is unhappy with Mr. Trump’s "delusional reformism."
American progressives have been enamored with many Soviet ideas in their time, trying to transplant them to the U.S. – from government diktat and central planning to academic indoctrination and propaganda through entertainment. And while the Soviet Union has gone the way of the dodo, its glorious socialist legacy is still up for the picking.
One of these unparalleled Soviet achievements is the use of psychiatry to silence dissent and delegitimize political opposition…
The word “haters” is a very loaded term, and a nonsensical one to boot. The left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), for example, claims to be the ultimate arbiter of “hate,” “haters,” “hate groups,” and “hate crimes.” This 501(c)(3) nonprofit collects handsome sums of money under the pretext of keeping what they call a hatewatch. At the end of 2016 their endowment stood at $302.8 million. That means they have a direct financial interest in painting a picture of a widespread organized hatred in the United States, which “proves” their importance and scares the donors into parting with even more of their money.
With all the Days of Resistance and Days Without Some Victim Group we’ve had lately, and will continue to have for the next four years—or until He Who Shall Not Be Named Because That Only Legitimizes and Worse, Humanizes Him—is impeached—it’s clear we need to set aside another Day, this one to demand paid leave for protesting. We shall call it the People’s Paid Protest Leave, or PPPL™ for short.
Because this is about People. People who care. People who are fighting fascism. People who want only to take back the democracy that last November 8th was ripped from us as if we were raped—which, in a sense, we were.
Is it just me, or do you also wonder how liberals can possibly function, let alone win elections? This lump in their heads, they refer to it as a mind, is made of absurdities, inconsistencies and contradictions. How is possible to hold so many mutually exclusive beliefs?
The fact is, there’s a method to their insanity and sane people will keep losing to the insane unless they understand what that method is.
Let’s take love and hate. Scientists have discovered that both love and hate originate in the same nervous circuits in the brain.
I’m not sure if this has been picked up in America but our UK press are reporting that President Trump was "bashing" the BBC.
‘Here’s another beauty’: Donald Trump bashes the BBC again in heated back-and-forth with ‘impartial free and fair’ reporter Jon Sopel during bizarre White House press conference
– President said ‘Here’s another beauty’ after asking Jon Sopel where he was from – North America editor replied ‘It’s a good line’, adding: ‘Impartial, free and fair’
Our correspondent in Belgium, Comrade Minitrue, has sent us a transmission about the growing prominence of the People’s Cube in the European Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (EUSSR) and its glorious capital, Brussels.
In an article describing the ongoing ruthless purge of all right-wing sources and personalities from Wikipedia, a Dutch-language Belgian newspaper, Sceptr [Scepter], describes us as a "right-wing satirical website." (How far to the left must the comrades in Brussels have gone in order to see our truly Stalinist Party organ as "right-wing"?)
The ever-vigilant Komrad Silverman has done THE PEOPLE a great favor by korrektly identifying markings, disregarded by most wrong-thinking people, as simple utility worker symbols.
They are, in fact, secret and subversive codes of hatred, used by a world-wide conspiracy of fascists, known as the The Utility Workers’ Army, whose hidden agenda is Orange Supremacy.
Thanks to the eagle eye of Sarah Silverman, the secret signs of the Trump Nazi Illuminati have been exposed.
Orange is the new white.
Valentine Day in People’s Cube history
Dating a dictator can be a scary and dangerous endeavor. But it also offers an opportunity to meet the authoritarian oppressor of your dreams, provided that the proper precautions are taken. Whether you are a young starry-eyed Utopian or have been around the eastern bloc for a while, everyone can benefit from these tips and guidelines for safe dictator-dating procedures.
Nordstrom stores – among others – recently stopped carrying Ivanka Trump’s wares. They claim that this decision is not at all politically motivated, but strictly a result of lagging sales. Nordstrom swears their Ivanka Trump dump has nothing to do with a boycott campaign waged by a random marketing consultant, under the hashtag #GrabYourWallet.
The timing that Ivanka’s sales lagged around the same time her father became close to winning the election, which is also when the boycott campaign ramped up, but not a moment before, is purely coincidental.
Armed with a baseball bat and wearing a fashionable rioting unisex ensemble, Flat Antifa is looking for some fascism to smash.
Fascism is anything that Flat Antifa doesn’t understand. It needs to be smashed. Fascists are those who refuse to conform to Flat Antifa’s non-conformism. They need to be smashed.
Flat Antifa obtained these views in his/her extremely expensive school, and is prepared to swing his/her bat at anyone whom Flat Antifa’s extremely progressive professor defines as extremist.
Included on the list of things to smash are gender fascism, sexist fascism, racist fascism, homo-fascism, hetero-fascism, bi-fascism, trans-fascism, adult fascism, and parental fascism.
Help Flat Antifa find more fascism to smash.
Hooters announced today that they are preparing to hire 10,000 Muslim refugee women in a show of support to the immigrant community and in a display of solidarity with other American companies that have offered similar support.
Hooters joins the list of companies such as Starbucks, which has also offered to hire 10,000 refugees instead of veterans or unemployed Americans, as well as AirBNB, which has offered to house these immigrants.
Vladimir Putin deflated footballs used by the New England Patriots – it was revealed today by CNN.
This is the only way that they could have won the Superbowl.
It has been determined that he did it to make Trump’s team victorious. Women and minorities have been hardest hit by this latest defeat.
You may have seen the recent fake news that the Statue of Liberty was originally meant to be a womyn of the Religion of Peace:
ISLAMIC LADY LIBERTY: CBS CLAIMS STATUE OF LIBERTY WAS ORIGINALLY A MUSLIM WOMAN, ACCORDING TO "RESEARCHERS"
No word on whether her clitoris had been removed. All of which is Well and Good. But it only scratches the surface.
Outspoken comedian Sarah Silverman thinks that Trump voters are racist, she said yesterday while wearing blackface makeup to emphasize her point.
Later, after working herself up into some kind of frenzy, Silverman appeared to call for a military coup in a tweet, while protests against Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos turned violent after Soros’ and the DNC’s minions attacked people with shovels and clubs while burning things and breaking windows.
‘WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE,’ Silverman wrote.
Later she added: ‘We’re all gonna die…
"The carnage perpetrated in the academic torture-chambers of the mind leave students with the following sediment in their brains: existence is a jungle, fear is man’s permanent state, skepticism is the mark of maturity, cynicism is the mark of realism and, above all, the hallmark of an intellectual is the denial of the intellect. These ‘activists’ are so literally the products of modern philosophy that someone should cry to all the university administrations and faculties: ‘Brothers, you asked for it!’"

Beyonce has announced today that she is pregnant with two Donald Trump’s babies at once, with experts predicting that this may inadvertently set the tone for the entire Black History Month, which has just begun.
The 35-year-old singer was disappointed that her previous pregnancy photo on Instagram only gathered 6,831,636 likes, 17,000 tweets, and some anemic media coverage at such lame old news organizations as The New York Times, LA Times, US Weekly, Chicago Tribune, and similar media holdouts, with not a single picture or a word about her in places where it really counts – Breitbart, Fox News…
So that the Safe Space Cadets will not be unequal in their kultural wealth, I have created a new, politically-korrekt version of the (in)famous Gadsden Flag (*ptooey*). It will be raised every time there is a call to "arms" (for hugging).
I haven’t quite figured out yet what this flag should be called. The Thinskin Flag? The Hasbeen Flag? This humble Kommisar welcomes the contributions of the most equal masses for the christening dedication of this new…
Reciprocating Trump’s #MuslimBan, the CEO of Starbucks has vowed to start a campaign of discrimination against US citizens by hiring 10,000 Muslim refugees instead of the usual local applicants as baristas.
This, in turn, was immediately reciprocated by a call to #BoycottStarbucks by Trump supporters, who claim that Starbucks is an overhyped watering hole for pompous white Subaru-driving liberals in yoga pants. That is an outrageously divisive statement because it excludes unicyclists and Prius drivers, whose vehicles are equipped with three turn signals: a left turn signal, a right turn signal, and a supersized virtue signal.
There is a chart circulating the internet, showing the numbers of American citizens killed by Middle Easterners since 1975. The purpose of this chart is to persuade us that President Trump is banning people from the wrong countries.
Citizenship from these countries does not equal Muslim. But a travel ban of these countries’ citizens is a ban of all Muslims. We know that no Muslim would kill an American, because Islam is the Religion of Peace. According to this chart, Saudi Arabians are more dangerous than citizens of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. But we don’t really want Saudi Arabians to be banned, because it is a Muslim-majority…
After the tragic loss of life in the Quebec mosque shooting of January the 29th, it warms our hearts to witness the correct response we expect in such situations.
Major news outlets were quick to point out that the current prime suspect, a certain Mr. Buissonette, had serious mental issues and work-related traumas that may have caused him to act irrationally. To stress the "lone wolf" character of this attack, no links were made with other anti-Muslim actions or protests in the past that have no proven connection to this incident. To avoid stigmatising any demographic, prime minister Trudeau did not immediately describe this "event" as terrorism.
Calling out around the world, are you ready for a brand new protest? Trump is here and the time is right for protesting in the street!
Sister comrades, this is a call to arms (as long as they’re covered) to demand freedom and equal rights, to stand up to the illegitimate Trump/Hitler regime, to keep the rights to your body, and to fight against cultural imperialism – by wearing your instrument of resistance – the hijab!
Enclosed in your hijab, you can, in the name of women’s rights, proudly stand up and be a warrior against Trump’s War on Women. Join millions of like-minded women in smashing the patriarchy, achieving freedom from male domination and oppression, fighting for gender-justice, and checking (based on skin tone) your white privilege. It’s simple common sense: the Muslim veil is the only way to find true women’s liberation and equality.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Madonna described focusing on Trump’s image on the TV screen while casting magic spells as her agent and friend recited verses from the Quran.
"We were doing everything: lighting candles, meditating, praying, offering our lives to God, Allah, Satan, whomever – as long as they would shrink Trump into a hideous little monster and he would lose to Hillary," said Madonna.
In the end, her mystical witchcraft backfired. Trump defeated Clinton, and Madonna became a hideous little monster instead. Months later the transmogrified celebrity is still struggling to accept what has happened: "It’s like suddenly losing all my money and power, and also being stuck in a nightmare, but I repeat myself."
This feels like a pilot for an absurdist comedy, or at least a TV skit. Arrested Development comes to mind. The best part is Shia pleading "Be nice, people" and then screaming "f*king Nazis" at the top of his lungs to the people offscreen.
Turns out, they are the police and they soon take him away in handcuffs. He is quite docile at first, but as he is being led offscreen, he gets back into character and starts screaming "f*king Nazis" again.
If Shia sells the rights to this episode, that should probably cover the medical bill from the upcoming month in the rehab.?
It’s only Trump’s second full day on the job, and already he has drawn international criticism: in an executive order signed today, the new president has enrolled all members of ISIS into Obamacare, effective immediately.
Defending his decision, President Trump told reporters, "Look, I know it’s controversial, blah, blah, blah. But to me it’s genius. I’m gonna make ISIS go on Obamacare, and I’m going to make them pay for it. It’s what I campaigned on, and I’m gonna make it happen in the first 100 days."
In the U.S. Senate, Chuck Schumer rushed to a microphone. "We’re better than this…
Lets blow up the patriarchal government and replace it with a governwomynt!
Attending a Trumphitler protest?
That Guy Fawkes mask is "old hat!" (and a symbol of patriarchal oppression). Don’t be laughed at! Show your comrades just how revolutionary and equal you can be by wearing the latest thing in Protest-wear!
Madonna is more revolutionary, more nasty, more disease-ridden than that old… tired… BORING!, Guy Fawkes poseur!
But just like Guy Fawkes, she too wants to blow up the seat of government!!! Isn’t that cool?!!!
Available now at your local Protest Supplies store. Made in Pakistan. Ask about the special limited-edition with bonus vial of Madonna’s actual menstrual blood.
Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti has recently vowed to boycott the Academy Awards ceremony as a protest of Illegitimate President Donald Trump’s illegitimate proposal to illegitimately suspend visas for citizens of some African and Middle Eastern nations.
Alidoosti, who appears in the Oscar-nominated The Salesman, points out that foreign travelers to the United States have a right to come and go as they please without the illegitimate interference of the U.S. government. Her announcement has larger implications: we would be deprived of self-righteous tirades delivered with impeccable style by our betters.
Lawyers for Hillary Clinton today announced that they are initiating legal action against Satan for breach of contract.
They are demanding that he return the soul of Hillary Clinton who was promised the highest office in the land for her soul.
Satan’s representative, George Soros, declared that the promise was made in New York City and that she will have to settle for mayor.
Following yesterday’s Inauguration, half a million American women put on their pink "pussyhats" and marched on Washington, D.C., leaving an estimated 2.5 million starving, meowing cats in their homes completely unattended and deprived of their scheduled mandatory hugs and prolonged belly rubs.
Organized by Planned Parenthood, Council for American-Islamic Relations, the Communist Party, and other progressive movements, American women came to Donald Trump’s doorstep to express their anger, fury, indignation, and outrage over the fact that they can’t name a single right that men have and women don’t.
New lyrics – updated and improved:
That’s great it starts like an earthquake cargo snakes on aeroplane And Tammy Bruce is not afraid eye of a hurricane listen to the Dems churn World serves it’s own needs dummies serve your own needs Feeding off of faux speak grunts no strength The latter starts to clatter with fear fright down whites Why’re they on fire representing people’s gains In a government for hire and a left wing site Leftists west and dying in a hurry with the people breathing down your neck…
A Trump-hating protester set himself on fire last night outside the Trump International Hotel a few blocks from the White House in Washington, D.C. but failed to kill himself, according to reports.
The as yet unidentified 45-year-old Californian used an unidentified accelerant and a lighter in an unsuccessful attempt to flambe himself for social justice.
It was unclear if the man was insane or simply a very dedicated demonstrator. Given his disinclination to fully combust he is unlikely to have been an Eagle Scout.
A letter to all entertainers performing at Trump’s inauguration: We are the party of love. We’ve told you that over and over again, but you just don’t seem to get it, so we have no other choice but to send you this anonymous death threat. How DARE you reject our love? You JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND THAT WE WERE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER!!!! You forced our hand and now we must teach you that if you don’t do what we say, that means you don’t love us. And you’re supposed to love us. We are beautiful. We are kind. We are tolerant and inclusive and if you don’t agree with us, you must be silenced! We want to give ourselves to you, body and soul, BUT YOU JUST WON’T SEE IT AND GO OFF WHORING AFTER THAT BITCH!!!!!!
With just over 48 hours left of the Obama Administration, this is your last chance to remember if there is anything you might have done for which you need a pardon.
I’ll go first: My transgression and my cat’s transgression:
Years ago, Dear Leader’s glorious face graced the cover of the magazine Fast Company. I failed to frame it and put it on the wall so I could bow as I walked by. I left it on the couch… and my racist reichwing rethugiKKKan cat got sick all over the picture. Naturally, I mandated the cat to take eight weeks of diversity and sensitivity training…
President Obama awarded himself the prestigious, ‘Distinguished Public Service Medal’ on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017.
During his teary-eyed presentation speech, he referred to himself some 97 times while gloriously expounding on his many accomplishments, performances and outstanding golf games.
Through tears of joy during the acceptance speech, he referred to himself another 163 times expounding upon his many successes and how smart he is.
We breathlessly await more medals of this type to be awarded to Barack Obama.
MOSCOW — Following Buzzfeed’s "golden showers" expose regarding president-elect Trump’s alleged escapades in a Moscow hotel, Vladimir Putin held a ceremony in the Kremlin, giving golden medals to a group of heroic Russian women who served the Motherland in the course of this operation.
"Trump has been organizing beauty pageants, hanging out with beautiful women who had gone through medical examination. Why would he leave them for unvetted females with a lowered sense of social responsibility?" he said. "Unless they are highly trained and thoroughly examined operatives with a heightened sense of social responsibility and patriotism, like this group here."
Don’t miss this post-election fire sale as the Clinton Foundation closes its doors and lays off its non-unionized employees. Everything & everyone must go! br /> – All starving Third-World children are half off, barely used. – Deep discounts on African and Middle Eastern dictators. – Speaking fees now only $20,000. – No refunds on pre-election deposits. – Government influence all sold out. – Uranium deals by appointment only. – Now available in all totalitarian states.
A behind the scenes look at how Pee-Gate really happened.
We have long known that right-wing people are better looking, smarter, happier, and even have a better sex life without demanding that the government pays for their contraceptives.
No one knew how to effectively argue that fact, deny it, rationalize it, or turn it into an asset – until now. A groundbreaking scientific research has finally answered the most puzzling question of the Universe: Why would anyone in their right mind ever vote for a right-winger?
As a side effect, scientists also explained that people’s right-wing politics stem from their beauty, talent, ability, strength, and well-being, which also signals…
I raise a tin cup of glorious beet vodka (with a splash of tractor fuel) to the imaginary hookers.
Once again the mainstream media is trickling out details, one drip at a time…But I’m puzzled. People PAY to get their beds wet? I know some folks with pure talent.
This just in: The search for prostitutes who peed on Obama’s bed has been narrowed down to one suspect…
The People’s Cube entry has just been purged from Wikipedia. Congratulations, comrades. We are now officially a non-site populated by non-persons sharing non-thoughts and making non-jokes. It makes me feel right at home, back in the Soviet Union, where an invisible hand obstructed any of my efforts to manifest my existence. How liberating. No visibility means no responsibility. Out of sight, out of mind.
As a linguistic experiment, scientists once had "out of sight, out of mind" translated into Russian and then back into English. The phrase returned as "invisible lunatics." That’s who we are now. No need to think now, non-people. The Wiki-progs have turned us into invisible lunatics.
Announcing Volume 1 Number 1 of TRUMPIAN HORRORS – the new, hip, retro-pulp fiction magazine for Cis Males, Cis Men, Trans Males, …and Androgynes …who are feeling a little bit on the butch side today.
Each month (or whenever we get around to it — publishing schedules are racist), TRUMPIAN HORRORS will bring you gripping fictionalized accounts (but NOT FAKE NEWS!) of the latest sickening atrocities inflicted upon the the U.S., the world, the Universe, and beyond by The Evil TrumpHitler.
Headline story (and Trigger Warning!) in our premier issue: I WAS FORCED TO SING AT TRUMPS INAUGURATION, the true story of a poor, but talented, single-mother, 1/16th Native American, trans-questioning, Chicago civil servant whom The TrumpHitler implacably forced to compromise her sterling liberal values to croon for The TrumpHitler’s drooling delight while suffering the humiliation of the leering eyes of TrumpHitler’s Deplorables Squads (with assistance by Russian hackers).
Dear President Obama,
I would like to take the time to honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart for having a huge hand in creating the greatest age for satire that the world has ever seen. But aside from that, there is so much more to be thankful for.
I believe that I also speak for countless college-educated people when I say that during the dusk of your presidency we should take the time to list some of the amazing things you have done and to reflect upon them.
When we first saw this headline, we thought it was yet another satirical spoof about Snopes, similar to our own previous exploits: Snopes Co-Founder Embezzles $98,000, Drops Weight, Leaves Fat Wife And Marries Actual Whore
Turns out, this is a true story, fully backed by Daily Mail. But first, let’s step back a little. We’ve had a few spates with Snopes in the past. It was all fun and games when Snopes co-founder David Mikkelson first debunked our story about Rosie O’Donnell getting a tramp stamp with ISIS flag to support Islamic ‘freedom fighters’…
On Wednesday, President Obama added another prestigious medal to his Nobel Prize collection when he had Defense Secretary Ash Carter award him the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service.
??If ?this caught you by surprise, you’re not alone. Most Americans had no idea that the Pentagon ?had such an ?award??.? Additionally, you may not be aware that several countries are ?also expected to ?invite? president ?Obama ?to medal ceremonies in appreciation of his many stellar contributions.
25 years ago George Bush Sr. was still in office, and so was Saddam Hussein. The European Union didn’t exist and neither did China’s economic powerhouse. The Berlin wall had just come down and Germany had finally reunited. Hillary Clinton was a little-known mouthy First Lady of Arkansas and the media gleefully predicted that Donald Trump would never climb back to the top after his Atlantic City fiasco.
On the other side of the Iron Curtain, the Eastern bloc was in shambles, but the USSR was still standing with Mikhail Gorbachev at the helm. The KGB meddled in other countries’ affairs as usual, spreading "fake news" and helping leftist politicians with no objections from the Western media…
The Wikipedia page about the People’s Cube may be purged in a few days and we’ll become a non-site unless we take action.
There is an ongoing Wikipedia discussion / show trial, in which you can vote for or against deleting the People’s Cube for being "unworthy" to grace the pages of Wikipedia. You can add your two kopeks to the discussion here:
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The People’s Cube
First the reason for deletion was "confrontational language." Then it was phony "copyright issues." Now they question our "noteworthiness." This is plain harassment and trolling.
In this New Year edition of No News – Good News we are happy to inform our readers that the following things did not occur this year:
– FBI: Santa disclosed naughty list on WikiLeaks, "Helped Trump win election"; Obama expels Rudolph, Prancer, Vixen, and 35 elves in retaliation – California builds wall to keep out Trump supporters – Bernie supporters stunned there is no socialist Santa Claus, vow to continue demanding free chocolate cookies, milk – Washington Post sues Internet for infringing on "fake news" business – Controversy in the lab: white mold excludes black mold; Harvard biologist blames "Petri dish cultures of hate" – Scientific News: Long after 1961 burial physicists uncertain Schrodinger is dead – Sexed-up Mother Russia becomes Milf Russia; Motherland renamed into Milfland on Putin’s orders…
By popular demand, we have made two versions of this design – cute and rebellious – pick whichever feels more "deplorable" to you.
