- what common/uncommon fear do they have?

Alex has a big fear of loosing control and unpredictability. Ever since her embrace, Alex has been hit over and over with unpredictable scenarios that have led to very nasty consequences for her, leading her to straight up fear unpredictability. As for loosing control, she just feels a very strong dissonance between herself and her vampiric instincts/the beast, which makes her fear her own actions, especially when they result in harming someone else. She is young, she accepted the embrace without knowing what it meant to be a malkavian, she hurt people and she cant trust herself. All she can do is keep as much control over herself as she can.

Ah yes, she also has a fear? Distrust? Of nosferatu because she got hunted down by one while she was alive (she will get over it with age i prommy, but for now she doesnt trust them at all)

- do they have any pet peeves?

She has many pet peeves, some of them relating to her derangements. One of which is sounds. She suffers from misophonia and certain sounds really tick her off: high pitched sounds/voices, the sound if chewing, the sound of paper being ripped, etc... Granted, not all of these sounds tick her off all the time, her current mood influences what ticks her off a lot.

Another pet peeve of hers is not being believed on account of being a malkavian. Granted, people try to hide their disbelief from her most of the time, but she can still sense it and she hates it.

Same goes for people thinking she's unreliable or a liability just because of her clan. Kindred tend to be much more obvious about this one and its the easiest way to make her despise you.

A framed polaroid of her and Arno (her Toreador friend), a pile of shame/unread books, a box containing a fountain pen (a gift from her father)

- what do they notice first in a person?

The first thing she notices in people is their outfit/their demeanor. By that i mean how they carry themselves, their body language. She does it almost instinctively and uses it as a point of confront with the personality they show while speaking, her way of stripping them of their masks.

- on a scale from 1 to 10, how high is their pain tolerance?

7, she can get pretty hurt before breaking, physically speaking, but once the pain threshold has been met, even the smallest thing will be extremely painful for her.

- when under pressure do they go fight, flight, freeze or fawn?

I dont think its right to say she only does one, but there is a certain order of preference to how she acts.

The most common is Flight -> Fawn -> Freeze -> Fight, but it honestly really varies from situation to situation. Usually, tho, Flight is her go-to

- how would a stranger likely describe them?

'Way too chill about her unlife' - 'very naïve about the whole kindred ordeal' - 'knowing her sire, i feel pity for her' - 'lets hope she doesnt turn out like Stefano' - 'she doesnt look too deranged for living with her sire, but you know malkavians' - 'you mean Arno's malkavian crush?' - 'ah. Alex loves to read and listening to true crime podcasts, also she's BIG on gossiping, especially with her sire. She also goes clubbing from time to time, but most times when she goes out she hangs with Arno, either at his apartment or at his bar

Spiderman Into/Across/Beyond the Spiderverse but it's Sebek but also there is no spiders and there is no getting powers

The "Miles Morales" in this situation is a Sebek who lives in our kind of world: no magic, no cryptic old faes, no superheroes, no nada. He's 15 years old, first year, still trying to figure out what he wants to do in life. He knows that he's been raised to join Diasomnia's business, by his own family and Lilia himself, but after a few encounters with a group that we all know and love, he begins to doubt this.

As he tries to live up to Malleus and Lilia's expectations as well as be able to stand by Silver's side and not be in his shadow, he hangs out with the first years: They're the "Uncle Aaron," except not? They dont die, I prommy.

The first years are the ones who truly understand him, and consequently the ones who get him into trouble. They all frequent this abandoned station that Ace apparently found all by himself (His big brother did). Sebek gets a call, bidding the group goodbye and realizes that it's Malleus. He nervously picks up the call, where Malleus tells him to come "home," which is really just Silver and Sebek's shared apartment. Which is just inside Diasomnia Industries. Which is literally a 10 minute walk from the abandoned station LMFAO

He's greeted by Lilia at the door and everyone's sitting around at the couch. Malleus and Lilia talk about going abroad and, once Silver is done with his third year, that they would like to bring him along with them. Sebek speaks up, kind of like "Haha what about me once I finish MY third year," and thats when it is revealed to him that he will stay where he is. He'll be assigned to another branch of Diasomnia while Malleus, Lilia, and Silver go to the main one.

Sebek is just sat there gaping like a fish, as Malleus, Lilia and Silver go on and on about this being a good experience for him and how maybe after a few years he could also join them, but here's the thing: the whole reason Sebek is in this stupid school with Silver is because of them. He got rid of all his other hobbies and interests because he felt at home with these three and wanted to join them only to find out that all that is for nothing because theyre just going to go off into another country. Years is going to seem like nothing to them but to Sebek? Thats an eternity.

He unexpectedly snaps when Malleus says something along the lines of, "Im sure youll be fine" after Sebeks question if its really a good idea. He runs away in shame, back to the rest of the first years who reassure him and shit before Sebek finally feels ready to go back.

By the time he does however, he sees Silver inside his room. Sebek is back to pissed again because "???why r u going through my stuff what the hell" before Silver picks up a photo and shows it to Sebek. Its him and the first years. "Who are these guys?" The insult that was about to leave Sebek's mouth suddenly died down in his throat.

"'March 17, XXXX.'" Silver's eyes darkened. "This...this was last year. The whole time we were waiting for you to come home...you were hanging out with them?" Surprise Sebek celebrated his bday with the first years instead of Diasomnia lol. Dia 3 have already noticed that he's becoming distant for like months now, but they dont know WHY.

This spirals into a fight again, where Silver says something along the lines of "What, youd rather be with them than us? Your family?" and Sebek responds with "UH YEAH IF YOU GUYS KEEP BEING PRICKS????" Silver threatens Sebek that he'll tell Malleus and Lilia about his escapades, causing Sebek to- you guessed it!!!! RUN AWAY AGAIN

As he reaches the station, he realizes the first years r gone for some reason. They usually end up staying past 7 anyway and it IS past 7 so where are they??? Suddenly, the whole city blacks out. Sebek quickly turns on the flashlight because ooo creepy abandoned station. He hears a noise from the tunnel, almost like a running engine but psht thats impossible right??? Its not called ABANDONED for a reason-

OH SHIT I ALMOST GOT HIT BY A TRAIN

She's been here for a while, and has probably had more than enough time to search the place top to bottom. No, if anything takes her down it's her trying to force herself to remember more. She only remembers enough to know that she she has a family of her own in the real world, as well as a partner... makes her more determined to leave, as opposed to her in the pilot where she, like the others, accepted her fate

hmm let me think... he's bisexual like Kiesling. However he has zero experience and honestly kinda doesnt have much going on outside of being a spartan. he wishes he had some hobbies but he just doesnt have the time to get into anything. but he likes to cook sometimes.

my biggest primary issues with totk are

a) the treatment of zelda

b) the treatment of ganondorf

as a villain ganondorf has no motives. he has ambitions, but without reason. he has goals, without ideals. WHY is ganondorf evil? his memory cutscenes are curt, and short, merely demonstrating the fact of his evil rather than provide any substance behind it. the dragon tears, and more specifically the geoglyphs, are massive decorative landmarks visible from the skies and detailing some representative element of the memory contained within. to get rid of them entirely would be to remove a massive amount of visual interest from the map. but as we see most clearly from the true final tear, the tears themselves are. small. and furthermore we are working with a massive period of time via the memories. like. an absurd amount of time. an unspecified and potentially limitless amount of time. we get memory cutscenes from non geoglyphs already. wh. why not MORE like. WHY.

how long was zelda in the past? how long did ganondorf feign fealty? these two questions determine how much time we have for potential character building interactions with the entirety of the past hyrule!cast!

why dont they talk? how come ganondorf never talks to anyone outside of Being Evil?

i havent even touched on zeldas primary role in the narrative is as Passive Observer and, SOMEHOW, botw giving her MORE agency as a princess locked in a malice cocoon than a game where she can move talk and walk the entire time.

HI APOLOGIES THAT THIS TOOK SO LONG. im gonna be honest im not very good at convincing people to check stuff out But. whatever. also i know you said youre ok with spoilers but im probably not gonna say too much because, as with any honkai storyline in my experience, the Mystery is a large part of the charm.

what you gotta know going into part 2 is that it isnt original honkai, but its also not Not original honkai. sure, the cast is new [for the most part, at least, several part 1 characters make their way through the narrative from time to time], but at the end of the day it follows the same... vibe? format? i dont know how to name it. as in, for me personally i played it and was like Yeah, this is still honkai. so if youre worried its gonna be completely different from part 1 and 1.5, then dont, because its Not. the weird intrigue and overly complicated yet still fun lore and sudden comedic [and Genuinely Funny, i should say] moments thrown in the middle of serious action are all still here.

second of all. THE CAST IS VERY FUN!!! genuinely i love love love allllll of them [although, songque has definitely taken my heart I FUCKING LOVE SONGQUE!!!!!]. actually all of the seven shus are very good characters!! its very clear that this is mainly Their story, that this is their doing and their world, and none of them are dispensable, so to say. BUT THE ENTIRE CAST IS JUST AMAZING I PROMMY. theyre genuinely fun to experience!!! i love them so much!!! arrghgh. i also deeply love how the main group meets some random girl and decides Not only are we gonna undoom your entire world but were gonna undoom YOU too. none of that self sacrifice shit if they can help it [spoiler: they couldnt help it but sa knows they tried.]

hey– i just wanted to say i'm really sorry people are being rude about maruki on your own dang posts, that really sucks. so, instead, i want to bring some positivity!

i LOVE maruki. a lot! in the first half of the game, i honestly came to completely trust and admire him– his speech when he left shujin left me in tears because of how it resonated with me. i don't know about his japanese seiyuu, but billy kametz was an incredible voice actor and put everything he had into giving maruki an unforgettable performance.

also, all of his themes are some of the best in the game– out of kindness (and its variations), the ideal and the real, and throw away your mask are all incredible songs that i listen to.. a normal amount..

anyways! sorry for rambling for a second there but, i just wanted to show maruki some appreciation. i love your art, and especially your maruki art! keep going!! have a wonderful day!

^ image of me seeing this ask Thank you anon, im usually pretty chill if people dont like a character I dislike, but with Maruki there is an overwhelming amount of people that just do NOT understand him at all that it really grates on my nerves and seeing people actively be rude on posts i make about him just made it worse. I also ADORE maruki, hes one of the characters of all time to me, and his character themes and what hes meant to represent, and his musical themes are all wonderful, i havent heard his Japanese VA (i also played with the english VA's but thats because some of the CR cast did voices and i was like hehe my silly guys) but Billy put in an insane preformance for Maruki, and really helped sell Maruki's character as a whole (i also just have a deep love for voice actors though, so), Near the End of Royal after his first boss fight, the scream he lets out when talking to the PT during this voice line made me fucking INSANE.

And his preformance during the end of the game, where Maruki had Given up also drove me mental. im normal about him, prommy. His musical themes are some of my favourites, and i tend to have I believe and Ideal and the Real stuck in my head at all times because i listen to them so much, the rest of his themes also really help lend to his character and his motivations, and the way theyre composed helps this too. i just wish people took notice of them and their naming schemes importance into consideration when theyre being dumb about his character. I Do not mind your ramble, because i am ALSO rambling, I love hearing why people love Maruki and their thoughts on his character, and it means the world to me when i get asks like this telling me what people think, because it gives me a reason to talk about him too!! so thank you, and thank you for your kind words :3

firstly, if youve upgraded your armor, the red and blue ones dont do that much damage. the silver ones will spank you no matter what. do not recommend without practice and preparation.

first lynel attack pattern is the running strike. if you're not good at shield bashing just shield normally. dodging is not recommended here since his reach is so long.

when he gets close, you can get a few hits in between his attacks. here he'll strike with his weapon or swing his horns. i find it pretty easy to time the shield bash but you can just shield.

if he has a spear he'll do a jump strike but there's ample warning to back(flip) away. put as much space as possible since theres an area of impact. not sure if the shield works here since he comes from above

he'll also get down on his hands and charge you. you can try to side dodge for a flurry rush or if you just sprint perpendicular to his trajectory i think he'll miss.

when he starts breathing fire balls: run in a wide circle around him. sprint as the fireball gets close and it'll miss. after he shoots three, (and assuming this is a grassy area) jump into the updraft and start shooting arrows at his head. if he gets down on his knees you can mount him (lol) and slash with your sword.

start with a red one to practice and you can do it no problem i prommy!!!!

also the fact that in a companion convo you can literally say smthn along the lines of "hm. a sudden accident happening to ur political opponent right before an election could look suspicious, have you considered biological warfare?" and the entire room full of diplomats you say it in do not bat a single eye, and in fact the companion you happen to say this to goes "oh yeah actually thats a great idea, i'll do that instead, ty"? peak comedy.

why is estinien coming to sharlayan. not much he can help with in sharlayan better to have him dealing with or the rest of the mess or something like the towers or garleans.

all the scions are moving as one group. this is a stark contrast to arr through sb where they'd separately work on different projects. you can tell this is because of changing developer vision. The devs now want to develop a main cast so they're giving them screen time all together even when it doesn't make sense. Not all of them need to be here especially with multiple problems in the world.

really urianger isn't researching? why bring thancred, him and estinien all the way to sharlayan only to immediately send them to thravnir they could have departed from eorzea. this doesn't make sense between sending urianger away from his specialty to bringing estinien to sharlayan. the devs jsut wanted everyone together for dialogue because the characters are popular when it doesn't make any sense or match the scion's previous methods. like literally uranger, thancred, and especially estinien put in all the time and effort to travel to sharlayan only to immediately leave in the opposite direction. wol is so useless for the sharlayan side. should have swapped with urianger but the devs wanted the player to be able to explore. should have just used the roleplay system

new writers forgot about coils and the twin books. idk how to feel about the twins not using the paired arcanist books since it fits so well with the summoner scholar class split which is unique in the game. there's the significance of their grandfather giving them the tomes too and that they are specifically 2 halves on a whole. but the narrative of each twin growing into their own separate person is nice too it just feels awkward given the significance place in arr. i think this is another case of new writers having differing visions than the old.

Well, I see several problems with Olympics day:

Why is this a national event

Why are their entire futures based on this event

Why is Hagakure doing a little dance? Not related, just had to mention it

Ojiro is right, she may not get noticed at Olympics day. But she has an incredible quirk with lots of potential if she gets trained right, so it doesn't seem like this is a good way to set them up as sidekicks. The kids like Bully Boy who stand out will get the best offers, while everyone else, who need the help more, will get overlooked.

If they don't get an offer do they have to stay at school by themselves? Everything about this seems bad and poorly thought out

To be completely honest, all might and midoriya siting around and talking is the most boring part of the show. They should make the whole thing just these kids being losers and having cool fights. They dont even need teachers, I have yet to see teachers do something they cant do other than drive them to places where they can be attacked. They can make up weird and unhelpful exercises on their own, they dont need all might for that. they can learn about Olympics day on their own, they dont need trash man for that. Conclusion: Let these kids become wild teens in the woods. It will be good for them, I prommy. bye
